Youtube daily to make Oct 3 2018

I need a workshop trolley, specifically a metal one, but the ones that I've seen in

stores and online are just too expensive and my budget is only about half of that.

So, let's make a metal workshop trolley.

This is Cosador, Johnathan here.

An inexpensive trolley is probably not hard to acquire and buying secondhand is a

really good option because that's recycling, but I've been unable to find

anything that's in my price range. I know how much a basic metal workshop

trolley costs and is something that I don't have, so I'm going to have to be

creative, so what exactly is a trolley? a trolley is a shelf on wheels with a

handle, but what do I want? I need it to be as tall as my benches which is 1075mm,

it needs to be metal, repeatable and affordable.

Okay, easy!

I found this flat-pack shelf of the hardware store. I'll use these casters as

wheels and for the handle I'll use this curtain rail and I've got some extra

bolts for attaching the casters and the handle. To put this together, I'm going to

need a few tools, a drill and some bits, metal shears, a hacksaw, a hammer,

a permanent marker and some sandpaper and optionally a little bit of spray paint.

The casters are 43mm tall, so I need to make my shelf

1032mm tall and with a bit of luck I won't need to drill any extra holes.

The flat-pack shelf contains some instructions that I don't need, uprights

the shelves, some bolts and some right angle brackets. I mark it out so I know

where I want my shelves to be and I assemble my shelf.

Excluding the top, I put all of the shelves upside down so that there are

edges on each of the shelves and when I wheel the trolley around nothing

wobbles and drops off.

Now that it's assembled, I turn it upside down so I can

put on the casters, I place the casters right into the corners and with a

permanent marker, I mark out where I need to drill my holes and I drill the holes.

I bolt the casters on and that's done, for the handle I'm using curtain

rail. I don't have any brackets for the curtain rail so I'm going to improvise.

I measure out the curtain rail to the length that I need and cut it off.

I measure out each of the side pieces that will be attached onto

the trolley, I cut the curtain rail most of the way

through on both of the marks

then I flatten one side, I clamp down the flattened side and then I flattened

the other side and I draw the holes where it's going to attach to the trolley.

I take off any loose paint with some sandpaper, I bend in the sides and I

trim off any overhanging pieces with some metal shears, I paint it with a bit

of industrial grey, just because I like the color and it matches a little bit better.

With the permanent marker, I draw where I need to drill any holes

on the trolley and I drill the holes, then I bolt on the handle,

and that's it, it's done.

an easy, cheaper, repeatable, metal workshop trolley

I know that not everyone will have access to the same materials that I did,

but it's important to look at an object as its components because then it

empowers you to make it yourself, and if it was useful to you please like and

subscribe, if you would like me to make something else let me know in the

comments and remember guys

break it til you make it!

and I'll see you next time

DEVILED EGGS | how to make the best deviled eggs recipe (paleo, keto, whole30) - Duration: 4:01.

- Hey guys, and welcome back.

The holidays are fast approaching and during the holidays

we're always in the need of some healthy snack

and appetizer recipes.

Because let's be honest,

most holiday nibbles are anything but healthy.

Now I definitely don't have anything against splurges

but when you have the option to eat a healthy snack

versus a sugary snack, I think that's always a win.

So today I'm gonna show you how to make my easy

and delicious deviled eggs.

Now this is a classic deviled eggs recipe

and I think still the best version of deviled eggs.

But over on my website

I will give you a few different flavor variations.

Depending on the time of year you're making this recipe

or if you're making it for a specific holiday like Easter,

you can have fun with a variety of different flavors.

All right, let me show you how to make 'em.

To get started, fill a pot with hot water

and bring it to a boil.

I'm using a medium size pot today

as I'll be cooking six eggs.

But you could use a larger pot and cook more eggs to easily

double or triple this recipe for a large gathering.

I've shown you how to make both hard boiled eggs

and soft boiled eggs before.

So if you'd like a step by step tutorial for perfectly

boiled eggs of all different consistencies,

make sure to watch that video.

But for today's hard boiled eggs,

once your water is boiling, reduce the heat to low

so that there are no longer bubbles forming.

Then use a skimmer to gently transfer your eggs to the pot

and set a timer for 14 minutes.

While the eggs are cooking,

prepare an ice water bath and set that aside.

The ice water bath immediately stops the eggs from cooking

and helps to prevent that green tinge you can get

around the yolk from overcooked eggs.

After your 14 minutes is up,

use your skimmer to remove the hard boiled eggs

to the ice water bath and let them fully cool.

Peel your hard boiled eggs,

give them a rinse and slice them in half.

Then use a spoon to remove the egg yolk to a bowl

and place the egg white on a serving tray.

(upbeat music)

When it comes to removing the yolk,

I have a little trick that makes it super easy.

And that's to use two of your fingers to pull back

on the top and bottom of the egg.

When you do this the egg yolk almost pops out on its own.

But you can still use a small spoon for some added help.

(upbeat music)

Once all your egg yolks are in a bowl,

use a fork to break them apart until they're crumbly

and resemble coarse sand.

Then add three tablespoons of mayonnaise

and I'm using my homemade mayo recipe.

One teaspoon of Dijon mustard.

And I do recommend Dijon mustard

rather than yellow mustard for more flavor.

One teaspoon of apple cider vinegar

and some salt and pepper.

Then use a large fork or spoon to stir everything together

until it's nice and creamy.

(upbeat music)

To transfer the yolk mixture back into the egg whites,

you can use a small spoon or you can use a piping bag

if you'd like a more ornate looking deviled egg.

I personally like the more rustic look of the yolk mixture

just dolloped back in but it's completely up to you.

Then to make these truly deviled eggs,

we need a little spice.

So grab your paprika and sprinkle a little bit on each egg.

(upbeat music)

And that's how easy it is to make deviled eggs.

I hope you guys enjoyed this video and if you did

How To Make Homemade Power Balls For MTB Riding | Blake Bakes Trail Snacks - Duration: 6:29.

- Five ingredients, 15 minutes,

and you can get yourself some of these power balls.

(whoops)

I'm gonna show you how to make these things.

(mumbles) Because they taste so good.

Mmm-mmm.

Welcome to Blake's Bakes and a totally different scene.

I'm in the kitchen, I'm gonna cook up some fuel

for us peeps out on the trail.

So today, I'm going to show you how to make

these amazing power balls.

And you're gonna need these five ingredients.

128 grams of figs.

2/3 cup or 85 grams of oats.

1/4 cup or 32 grams of dark chocolate.

Three tablespoons, which is roughly

50 grams of almond butter.

And, lastly, one tablespoon of chia seeds.

So it's gonna take you 20 - 30 minutes to make these balls.

They are vegan friendly, freezer friendly for one month,

and they do keep for one week in a closed container

or zipped bag.

Okay, so you want 85 grams of jumbo oats.

I've got jumbo oats, you can get rolled oats,

any oats, anything that is oats.

85 grams of it.

70, 83, 84, 85.

It says 85.

Got your first bowl of goodies.

So with dark chocolate, you want 1/4 cup,

which is roughly 32 grams.

(chocolate snaps)

You gotta love chocolate.

So I'm going more than 32 grams,

because I love chocolate.

Next up, you wanna get some figs.

This is gonna be your substance to those power balls.

So you want 128 grams of figs,

and figs are really good for you.

Figs are good for your bowel, that's for sure.

My grandad eats figs.

Let's dice these figs up so they're a little bit

more easier to blend.

So, we got 128 grams of figs,

this is definitely gonna make it a little bit more meaty.

And figs are good.

There's no sugar involved with this,

because we're using all those natural sugars

within these fruits for the sugar rush.

So that's gonna give you a little bit

more energy on the trail.

And figs, oh, man, I love figs.

When I was a young kid, we had a big tree in our garden.

It was nice.

Tell you what, going to the toilet wasn't...

Was a dream.

That's what figs are for (laughs).

Now we've chopped up our figs just to give our

little blender a little helping hand and now,

it's time to make some noise.

Get your little blending pot.

Any blender will do as long as it gives it

a nice, smooth, pasty texture,

because you don't wanna have big, chunky bits

in your nice, smooth balls, ha ha!

Anyway, so you got that, and then once you're blending that,

you want to get that to a nice, creamy paste,

not too overdone, and then you can start adding in

your other ingredients.

(blender whirrs)

See what I mean?

If you had large figs in there,

it would, (exhales) it would be so hard.

(blender whirrs)

Right, so now it's time to add those chia seeds

to the mix, so that is a tablespoon of chia.

Get every little chia seed out of there.

Every penny's worth.

Now, is to get three tablespoons,

like I said, I went in for almond butter,

you can go for any butter you want.

Three tablespoons, you want a nice, good dollop

of the stuff, give it a good mix.

Alright, three big tablespoons.

Like I said, it's a bit messy,

it's gonna get sticky, it's gonna get runny,

but it's all worth it.

(cheerful music)

Be generous with this, because you'll be like,

thanking yourself when you're on the trail,

like, oh, man, I'm so glad I put loads of butter on that,

loads of almond butter, loads of peanut butter.

Now, to add the oats, jumbo oats to the mix.

All 85 grams of it in there, done.

Now, with the chocolate, if it's a little bit hard,

like it is here, you can put it into the microwave

just to soften it up a little bit

so it is a little bit easier for you to mix.

(blender whirrs)

Oh, I think that is ready.

I think that is ready.

Look at that, look at that.

It's the sort of texture you want,

you can see bits of chocolate in there.

You don't have to be that thorough,

you don't need to get all of them,

you know, all of that chocolate chopped up

because it doesn't matter,

because when you get into the ball,

now it's time to make the balls,

but when you're making the balls,

you could potentially pick up a nice lump of chocolate

and roll it up, then when you're out on the trail,

you chomp into it and you're like, (gasps).

It's the best thing.

Right, now, you just wanna pick up a nice lump,

like that, and get dirty, this is where you get dirty.

It's like being on the trail when you're full of mud,

or if you're hiking you could potentially

have these as well.

I'm gonna roll these things up into nice spheres,

like the earth.

Or the moon.

So little tip, when you're rolling these balls,

is you wanna kind of really squeeze them together,

kind of get all that air out of them,

because if you don't, it'll just crumble.

You don't want them crumbling into just a big old mess

in your bag when you're out on the trail.

(upbeat music)

When you're done, you just pop them in a bag,

get them ready to head out on the trail, woo!

(upbeat music)

(sniffs) The power is in those balls, for sure.

That's gonna give me some energy out on the trail

and you as well, if you follow this recipe,

definitely help you out.

Also, this goes to show you don't have to go to the shops

to go buy your energy bars, you can do it at home.

Takes 15 minutes to prepare, 15 minutes to make and mix

and roll up into these balls, woo!

They smell so good!

Right, if you wanna see another video where

these things would definitely come in handy,

click over here where Neil does 100 miles in a day,

he should've taken some of these balls

to give him a bit more energy out there (inhales).

If you love this sort of content,

hit that globe to subscribe because you can see a lot

more of this and if you wanna see me do some more

cooking stuff, let me know in the

comments down below and give it a smash up,

10 Psychological Tricks To Make People Like You Everywhere You Go - Duration: 9:55.

Psychological Tricks To Make People Like You Everywhere You Go

We all want to be loved but only very few of us know how to get into the people's

hearts and make them to love us.

In this video, we'll be sharing with you 10 psychological tricks to make you likeable

so that people will like you everywhere you go.

If you're new here, consider subscribing so that you won't miss other interesting

videos like this

No. 1

Let people talk about themselves

Harvard researchers recently discovered that talking about yourself may be inherently rewarding,

the same way that food and money are.

Though you want people to like you, you must understand that human beings are extremely

selfish.

Nobody will like you except you first let them feel good about themselves.

One of the best ways to make people feel good about themselves is to let them talk about

themselves.

When next you meet people, discipline yourself to speak less and let them do the talking.

Ask them personal questions and let them tell you about themselves.

When you leave, they will feel good and because you make them feel good, they'll like you.

No. 2.

Mirror Them

Mirroring is a psychological trick of mimicking other person's behaviors, gestures, facial

expression and body language.

In 1999, New York University researchers documented the "chameleon effect," which occurs when

people unconsciously mimic each other's behavior, and that mimicry facilitates liking.

Researchers had 78 men and women work on a task with a partner.

At the end of the interaction, the researchers had participants indicate how much they liked

those partners.

Without doubt, participants were more likely to say that they liked their partner when

their partner had mimicked their behavior.

Why does this work?

We all love people who are like us.

If you want someone to like you, by mimicking them, they subconsciously see you as someone

who has something in common with them and like you for being similar to them.

No. 3.

Compliment people Abraham Lincoln allegedly said, "I can live

on a good compliment for 3 months" It's a major human weakness that we love

to be appreciated.

We love to be complimented but we rarely get honest compliment so whenever we get one,

we reward the giver with love.

If you want to be liked by people, compliment their appearance, accomplishments or progress.

No. 4 Hurt people sometimes

Isn't this just the opposite of what we discussed in number three?

Here is it;

Nobody loves to be flattered.

Even though we may get angry at first, we all appreciate people who can tell us the

bitter truth.

According to the gain-loss theory of interpersonal attractiveness, your positive comments will

have more impact on people's emotion if you tell them the other side they don't

want to hear sometimes.

Here is an example.

If you always tell a lady that her clothe is beautiful, at a time she will know that

you're flattering her and your comment won't make much impact on her emotion again.

However if one day you tell her that her skirt doesn't fit her, though she'll not feel

good for that day, she will forever take your subsequent compliments as genuine

No. 5

Show warmth before competence

Harvard psychologist Amy Cuddy says that, especially in business settings, it's important

to demonstrate warmth first and then competence.

Your warmth attracts people to you while your competence makes them envy you.

You want them to like you first, so that they won't have the need to envy you so don't

show people how good you are, even if you're the best in such thing.

First show them how friendly and loving you are before you'll show them how competent

you are and they will like you and accept your competence as genuine.

No. 6 Be in a great mood

Everybody in the world is having enough headache and nobody wants more.

Because mood is contagious, people will rather like someone who is usually in great mood

than someone who is usually sad and depressed.

According to a research paper from the Ohio University and the University of Hawaii, people

can unconsciously feel the emotions of those around them.

Because I know your mood can affect mine, I'll not like you if you're usually sad

because I don't want to add more to the headaches I have in my personal life.

What's the way out?

Keep your problem inside your room because most people just don't care.

Only share your troubles with your close friends.

Let everyone else see you in great mood and they will like you the more.

No. 7

Discuss your shared values alone

According to a study, successful people are less likely to tell you what is in their mind.

They will rather discuss what you want to discuss.

Here's the math;

Human beings usually hate people who don't share their point of view.

How can you deal with that?

Stay at your shared values.

For example, if you have a friend whose opinion on politics is usually the same like yours

but against yours when it comes to religion, stop discussing religion with him.

Discuss politics and have nice time.

He will like you because he will think you're the same, even though you are not.

No. 8.

Casually touch people In a University of Mississippi and Rhodes

College experiment that studied the effects of interpersonal touch on restaurant tipping,

waitresses briefly touched customers on the hand or shoulder as they were returning their

change.

As it turns out, waitresses who touch people earned significantly larger tips than those

who didn't touch their customers.

This is known as subliminal touching, which occurs when you touch a person so subtly that

they barely notice.

Common examples include tapping someone's back or touching their arm, which can make

them feel more warmly toward you.

When you meet people, touch their arms, tap their backs etc. and they will feel so close

to you and love you in return.

No. 9.

Smile

In one study, about 100 women looked at photos of a woman in one of four poses: smiling in

an open-body position, smiling in a closed-body position, not smiling in an open-body position,

or not smiling in a closed-body position.

Results suggested that the woman in the photo was liked most when she was smiling, regardless

of her body position.

Be cheerful.

Wear your smile everywhere you go and people will like you.

No. 10.

Reveal your weaknesses from time to time If you know something to be your weakness,

make it public and you'll be loved for it because we're living in a world where most

people brand themselves as perfect individuals.

Take for example, most people will never say, "I don't know" if you ask them anything.

They would rather give senseless answers than to risk looking foolish.

According to the Pitfall effect, people will like you if you show them your weaknesses,

especially if they know you to be good in other things.

In summary, if you want people to like you everywhere you go;

Maintain great mood.

Smile Discuss only your shared values

Casually touch people Mirror Them

Tell people bitter truth sometimes Let people talk about themselves

Show warmth before competence Show your weaknesses to make you look human

Compliment people

How to Make Classic Chicken a la King | The Stay At Home Chef - Duration: 3:01.

Today on The Stay At Home Chef I'm showing you how to make Chicken a la King

This classic recipe is ready to make a comeback in your kitchen as an easy

weeknight dinner. To start melt 1/2 a cup of salted butter in a saucepan or

skillet over medium heat. Once that butters all melted add in 8

ounces of sliced mushrooms and we'll get those cooking. You want the mushrooms to

be fully cooked and soft which will take about five minutes. Then we'll sprinkle

in 1/2 a cup of all-purpose flour and you want to stir this in until there's

no more white specks and everything has combined with the butter and the liquid

from the mushrooms. Kind of looks gross but that's exactly what we're going for:

no more white specks. Then we'll pour in 2 cups of chicken broth and

1 1/2 cups of milk and bring this to a simmer. As the sauce comes to a simmer

the flour is going to act as a thickening agent and our sauce will

thicken. While we're waiting for that to happen in a small bowl we're gonna whisk

together two egg yolks with 1/3 a cup of heavy cream. This will make our sauce

nice and rich. Then we're gonna ladle up about 1/2 cup of that thickened

mixture and pour it in with our egg mixture and whisk this really quick. This

is called tempering your yolks and then we'll pour it back in with the

mixture/ We want to work quickly with this so that those eggs don't curdle and

cook. You want to stir it all in. Let that cook over low heat for 2 minutes then

pour in 1 cup of frozen peas, about 1 cup of drained pimentos, those are sold in a

can, and then you'll need 4 cups of cooked diced chicken. Stir this all in

You can use shredded rotisserie chicken for this, some leftover chicken or you

can just buy some chicken, saute it in a pan or pop it in the oven with a little

salt and pepper on it. You want to cook this all for just a few

it's more just long enough for everything to heat through and then

you're ready to eat! Chicken ala King is served up over rice or toast or biscuits

or pasta whatever your family likes the best.

Thanks for watching! You can find the full written recipe in the video description. Be sure to subscribe, like,

Great Ways to Make Holiday Money This Christmas Season - Duration: 16:02.

- Hey, Angie Nelson here, from theworkathomewife.com.

Can you believe it's fall already?

That is going to come as a surprise to many of us.

I know it did to me.

And one of the things that we need to start

thinking about here shortly

is that the holiday shopping season

is going to be upon us here soon.

And that can be a major point of stress for some of us

that are living on a budget,

or maybe we haven't done as much financial planning

over the last year as we would've liked

now that the time is quickly approaching.

So in today's video and in another video

that's going to be coming up here shortly on the channel,

we're going to be talking about some great ways

that you could make some extra money for

the holiday shopping season.

Whether you're in need of cash

because you'd like to do a little shopping,

or maybe the winter months mean that

your electricity bill's a little bit higher than normal.

Regardless of what the reason is

that you are in need of some extra cash,

we're going to be talking about some great ways

that you can make that happen.

Make sure you stay until the end of the video

so you can find out more about the great opportunities

we're talking about today,

in addition to some other great ways

that you can make money from home and on your own time.

Now that day that I am filming this video,

it's October 1st.

So the first opportunity we're going to be talking about today

is going to be some great work at home opportunities

as customer service representative.

Now the reason this one is going to be first on our list

is because a lot of these companies

are starting training this month,

some of them within the next few weeks.

So if you haven't already got your application

into these companies,

it's going to be something that needs

to get put on the top of your to-do list to do right away.

And of course, I'll leave you a link

in the description below to some great companies that,

that are known to be hiring at this time of the year.

But you're going to want to look into some companies

like Amazon, they frequently hire some temporary

seasonal customer service representatives,

as do companies like HSN, Wayfair, Williams-Sonoma.

Now even if customer service isn't at the top

of your work at home wishlist,

I want you to at least consider it

if you're in a crunch for some money,

and you need to get something going rather quickly.

As I said, a lot of these companies are going to be training

in the next few weeks,

so the application process can be a lot shorter

in some cases,

and many of these positions are going to be only temporary

at the get-go.

So that means that

while you may not want to do this, you know,

full time, year-round,

maybe you can make it work for just a couple of months

in order to get that,

get that cash flow coming in

while you're still applying

for some other work at home jobs.

And another bonus to these positions that many of us like,

is that they're going to be regular paydays.

It isn't going to be something that's really you know,

a long time before you get your first check,

or maybe the workflows there some days and not the next.

At this time of year, a lot of these companies

have a lot of hours available,

and they are going to pay you on a steady basis

whether that's weekly, biweekly, or monthly.

So like I said, I'll leave a link in the description below

for a list of companies that you can check out.

Now while we're talking about shopping,

let's talk about some of the ways

that you can make money shopping.

There are some great companies out there

like Instacart, or Shipt that'll pay you

to do the grocery shopping for someone else.

And the case of Instantcart, or excuse me, Instacart,

they do have two different kinds

of shopper positions available.

One is a full-service shopper,

and these are a lot more flexible usually in scheduling.

This person actually goes into the store,

does all the shopping, gets everything bagged up,

and then actually delivers the groceries

to the home of the customer.

Now obviously for that position,

you are going to need to have a reliable car.

If you don't, they also hire

some part-time in-store shoppers,

and those people aren't doing the deliveries.

They're just doing the shopping,

getting everything bagged up,

and then the customer may come into the store

and pick up their groceries themselves.

Now these can be nice little part-time gigs,

there's several people within my own community

that have said that they are doing these type of jobs

on the side in order to make some extra cash.

So, if you don't mind grocery shopping,

you know, you know your way around the store,

you know your way around produce,

this could be a great opportunity

for you to make a little extra cash.

Now while we're talking about driving,

we certainly can't overlook the opportunities

that are available out there for companies like

Uber or Lyft.

There are a lot of great opportunities like this

doing everything from chauffeuring customers around

to even just delivering packages.

We're seeing a lot of those type of opportunities come up

you know, with companies even like Amazon

that's hiring their own drivers now to deliver packages

with their Amazon Flex program.

So there's going to be some great gigs out there

that you'll want to look into.

I actually have a pretty lengthy post on my blog

The Work At Home Wife,

that really goes into some of the details that are,

that make each of these opportunities unique.

There's some things you certainly need to be aware of

with some you know,

that you may not have to worry about with others.

You're obviously going to need a reliable car

with any of these positions.

Now this time of year we are going to see

a bigger demand with these companies as well.

Whether you're talking about shipping,

the delivery companies like Amazon Flex,

they're going to have a larger demand for packages

that need delivered this time of year.

When you're talking about Uber or Lyft,

there's a lot of shoppers out there.

I know me and my husband when we are traveling

this time of year,

if we're going to a colder location,

we certainly don't want to be out walking.

So we will hire an Uber driver or a Lyft driver

to get us where we need to go

so that we're not out walking around in the weather.

And that's something that the shoppers

are going to be thinking about as well.

Or even those that are going to be frequenting

holiday parties or New Year's Eve parties,

that aren't going to want to be driving

after they're drinking.

So those are some things that you are

going to want to look into,

and as I said there's a great variety

if you do have a reliable vehicle,

and a valid driver's license,

there's a great variety there.

Even if you don't like the idea of having to chauffer

people around,

you can make money by delivering packages,

there are some great opportunities out there

to do food deliveries,

whether it's through GrubHub or Postmates

or opportunities like that.

These can be some great ways to pick up extra cash,

and one of the things that people really love

about these opportunities

is that they are really flexible.

With several of these companies,

you don't even need to have a set schedule

or even let them know when you're available

to work ahead of time.

If it's Saturday night and your plans got canceled,

you can just log into the app on your phone

and get to work.

Now since we just mentioned Amazon,

I wanted to remind you of the Amazon Trade-In Program.

If your motivation for making money this time of year

is going to be shopping,

you definitely want to take advantage

of some of these Trade-In opportunities that are out there.

If you don't want to take the time to list

some of the things you don't want anymore

on sites like Ebay or things like that

where there can be quite a bit of back and forth,

and you shipping products,

and getting payment from customers, things like that,

Amazon does have a Trade-In Program

where they will accept unwanted books,

electronics, DVDs and video games, among some other things.

And they'll let you know right away on the website

what they will give you for that trade-in

if it's in good condition.

Once you send it in,

Amazon will pay for the shipping,

they will go ahead and credit that money to your account

or you'll receive free Amazon gift cards.

And since Amazon carries just about everything,

it's a great way that you can get

some of your holiday shopping paid for.

Now if you're a person that kind of likes to do a little

pre-shopping before you do your shopping,

you may want to make some extra money

by picking up some mystery shops.

You can make some good money this time of year

as a secret shopper.

In most cases, what you're doing is

going into a store,

you might be checking the price of a product,

maybe you're seeing simply if the clerks at the store

are welcome you into the store,

and seeing if you need any assistance.

Each of these mystery shops will have a specific thing

that you are looking for.

Now I have a pretty lengthy list

of mystery shopping companies on my website

that we know to be legit,

you could also check out an app that's called Field Agent.

That will give you a list of available

task right on your phone.

Those will each tell you, you know,

what the flat rate is that you're going to be paid.

And you can go ahead and do everything you need

right from your smartphone.

Unlike some of the traditionally mystery shopping gigs

in years past where you had to go into this store,

you know, kind of remember what happened,

then come home and fill out the report on your computer.

Field Agent will let you do that

all right from your smartphone.

Now while we're talking about smartphones,

there are some great apps that you can use

to make extra cash.

One of my favorites is Ibotta,

it's an app that you load onto your phone

and it will allow you to earn some cash back

with your grocery shopping.

Before you head out to the store,

you can look and see what offers are available.

It will usually give you a specific amount of money back

for purchasing specific brands

or specific items at the grocery store.

When you get home, you just scan your receipt,

and that cash is usually back in your Ibotta account

within a couple of hours.

If not, 24 hours.

Once you hit the cash out threshold,

you can go ahead and get that money by PayPal.

Another app that's really popular among my community

is Swagbucks.

If you aren't familiar with this one,

it is a website that allows to earn some Swagbucks or SB

by doing various activities

whether that's watching videos,

doing surveys, shopping online,

there are a number of different things

that you can do that will allow you to earn these SB.

And those Swagbucks can then be redeemed for cash

or gift cards at some great online merchants.

Now many people in my community will just let these,

let these earnings roll throughout the year

and cash out their earnings at the end of the year

when it is time to do that holiday shopping.

Or maybe they'll just let it roll until it's,

an emergency arises and they do need that extra cash.

These are not going to be opportunities to pay your bills,

these apps.

They're simply going to be extra money makers

that you can do just during your free time,

whether it's as I said,

scanning a receipt when you get home

from the grocery store,

or maybe in the evening during commercial breaks

of your favorite television program

you're watching a few videos through Swagbucks,

or answering one of their surveys.

These are just things that don't require a lot of time,

but will allow you to monetize some of that free time

that you do have.

Now the last opportunity we are going to talk about

in this video,

is working on demand.

One of the main things that people in my community

are looking for when they are looking for

some ways to make extra money around the holidays,

is they don't want something that's going to

require an ongoing commitment.

They just want to make some extra money in their free time

during this few months that we have around the holidays.

Once that's over,

they just want to go back to their regular schedule.

So they don't really want anything

that's going to have that long-term commitment.

That's something that I mentioned

with some of those customer service jobs

in the first part of this video.

And working on demand is a great way to do that,

you can just kind of, pick up the gig

as you need the extra cash,

and as soon as you're done you can go about your business

without having to worry about an ongoing schedule.

Now we've talked about a few of these already,

Uber, Lyft, those are definitely something

that would fall into this on demand category.

You can also look around in your community

to see what other things are available.

There are some great apps like Rover or Wag

that are kind of in the pet sitting

or the pet walking industry.

You can check out TaskRabbit,

they will list different gigs

for a variety of different categories there.

And there are several different websites

that you can find these different gigs available.

You can also check out Craigslist,

you do, you know, there is some risk there always.

A lot of these apps, they are you know, doing some kind of a

verification process on both the buyers and sellers,

so there is kind of a little bit more safety net there

than there is on something like Craigslist.

But with Craigslist you can find some great one-off gigs

available as well,

especially when we're getting into things like

brand ambassadors or event staff.

A lot of companies will list those type of opportunities

on Craigslist.

Maybe you can make a a hundred bucks

by going and you know, being an event staff

at a concert one evening in your town.

Or if you are a town that has a big sporting event

that's going to be coming through,

a lot of them will hire

some type of short-term task

and often those will be listed on Craigslist.

You'll just want to make sure that all of the details

are going to be in writing,

even if that's just email as far as what you're paid,

when you're going to be paid,

who you're going to be working for,

those type of things.

So make sure that those things are all in writing,

just to kind of give yourself some kind of,

kind of a safety net there.

Now those are just a few of my favorite ways

that you can make some extra money this time of year.

In the description below,

I'm going to leave you a lot of links

to several different posts that are on my website,

some different websites

that you are going to want to check out

for some more information on these opportunities

and then some.

There are a lot of great opportunities out there,

so give yourself some time to go through and see

where your skill set

is best matched to what opportunities

and what opportunities are really going to allow you

to earn what you're worth,

because that's always something

that we need to keep in mind too

when we are looking into some of these

extra money opportunities.

If it's going to require a lot of your time

and your brain power,

you're going to want to make sure

that you're compensated accordingly.

So check out the description below,

and make sure that you are subscribed to my channel.

As I said, I'll be doing a couple more of these videos

with some great extra money earners

for the holiday season.

So make sure that you are subscribed

so you'll get notification of the next video.

And if you have any great holiday money makers,

I'd love for you to leave me a comment

and let me know.

The community is always looking for some great new ways

to make money,

and they would love for you to share your ideas as well.

Until next time, I wish you best of luck

in finding some great money making opportunities.

How To Make Turquoise Pearl Earrings: Jewelry Tutorial - Duration: 10:44.

To make the earrings you'll need to freshwater pearls that are potato shaped, 12 turquoise seed beads,

two pieces of 26 gauge wire. We're using gold wire and it's 4 inches long, each piece.

Two head pins that are gold.

Two earring wires also gold. And then for tools you need round-nose pliers and wire cutters.

To make each earring you're going to start with a four inch piece of 26 gauge wire and

what we're going to do is make a little circle in the middle of our wire using our round-nose pliers.

I'm going to place the wire so it's up near the top part of the

round-nose pliers because that's where its fattest and I want to make kind of a big loop and

I'm just going to pull the wire around

on both sides, like that,

to make a loop there in

our wire and now what we want to do is feed on six of our seed beads.

And this is going to make a little bit of a flower design at the top of our earring.

So I'm just going to feed on six of our seed beads.

And we like these seed beads, this style of seed bead is sort of cut flat on the ends.

It's not rounded and we just like how they sit on the wire next to each other.

It makes for a really pretty design.

And we chose 26 gauge wire for this because we're doing a little bit of wire wrapping and the wire wrapping

is a lot easier with thinner wire and 26 gauge wire is a pretty thin wire.

So that's one two three four five beads.

Here's our sixth seed bead.

So we've got all of our seed beads on there and I'm going to just sort of take my little

crisscross of my wires and crisscross a little bit more to make that

circle a little bit smaller so that it fits so the beads sort of make a circle. And

now I want to make a little wrapped loop in the top of my circle and to do that

I'm going to use my round-nose pliers

to just sort of make a bend and one of the wires.

It's like a 90 degree bend next to one of the beads like that. And

now I can take the other wire and wrap it around

that neck of the other

wire

and

I'm gonna just wrap wrap wrap

loosely with this wire, like that.

You'll make it just like a little bit of a messy, a messy wrap.

We like how that looks.

That's good. I'm going to trim we'll end because it's getting a little hard to wrap it around.

And

with this other end, I'm gonna make a loop with my round-nose pliers.

I'm going to do that just by bending the wire so it's got a 90 degree bend in it.

Take my round-nose pliers and grasp where that bend is and I'm going to pull the wire up and over that jaw,

the top jaw of my pliers, reposition my pliers to the bottom of my jaws are in the loop and pull

the wire around to make a loop. And now I'm going to wrap the loop by grasping across the loop like that and

pulling the wire around.

And I'm just going to wrap that some more like that.

We'll get a nice big messy wrap here.

It looks artsy.

Now I'm going to trim the wire with my wire cutters,

like that.

And now we've got a little flower

made out of our turquoise beads. And I'm gonna set that aside and

make our little pearl dangle.

To do that. I'm going to start with a head pin,

take one of my potato-shaped freshwater pearls and slide that on and now I'm going to make a wrapped loop. And to do that

I'm going to do kind of what I just did.

It's a little bit similar. I'm going to use my round-nose pliers. I'm going to grasp the wire right above that potato-shaped

freshwater pearl,

bend the wire 90 degrees toward me, like that.

I'm going to reposition the pliers so they're at the top of that 90 degree bend, like that. And

then take the end of the wire and pull it so it goes up and over the top jaw of my pliers.

I'm going to reposition the pliers so the bottom jaw is in the loop and I'm going to pull the wire around

to make a nice round loop,

like that. And

now before I wrap the loop, like if I was making a normal wrap loop, I would just wrap it now.

But instead I'm going to slide this

flower into the loop. And what I want to do is make sure that I've got

three beads on either side of where this loop on our dangle is going to sit.

I'll show you what I mean. There we go.

So you can see I slid the loop of my bead dangle

onto the flower and I've got three turquoise beads on one side and three on the other. And

now I can wrap that loop. And to do that I'm going to grasp the loop across

using my round-nose pliers, and I'm going to pull the tail around

to wrap the loop. And I'm going to wrap it as, a bunch of times again to make another little messy wrap.

It'll kind of echo what we did at the top. And this wire of the head pin's a little bit harder than the other wire,

so it's a little bit more of a challenge.

You can always use chain-nose pliers to pull it around if you want.

Or you can just go as far as you can and then either trim the end or mash it down

with a pair of pliers. I'm going to just trim the end,

like that.

And now we've got our little earring and we can just feed it on to our earring wire.

The loop is kind of already open there.

Like that. And now I'm going to use my round-nose pliers. Just press the loop closed a little bit more.

And we've got one earring done and now we'll do the same technique to make the second earring.

So I'm going to use my round-nose pliers to

make a flat or make the circle in the middle of my wire by criss crossing the wires over

the top jaw at its fattest point. I've got my little circle.

I'll feed on the rest of the seed beads. There's six left. So this will be my other

last six seed beads to make my flower.

So we've got our six beads on there and I'm going to do what I did before which is make a little wrapped, a

sort of wrapped loop, by bending one of the wires ninety degrees like that.

And taking the other wire and I'm just gonna pull it around

to make a big messy wrap at the top of our beaded flower here,

like that.

It's really fun working with this 26-gauge wire because it's so malleable you can really,

you can really wrap it like crazy. There we go. I'm going to trim that little end.

And if you have any ends sticking up when you're done

you can always use a pair of chain-nose pliers to mash it down or you can use your round-nose pliers.

I'm going to see if I can

flatten that one down a little bit because it's sticking up a little bit. We don't want it poking.

There we go. And now we're gonna make a wrapped loop at the top of the wire there by making a 90-degree bend,

like that. And then using our round-nose pliers to grasp the wire at the bend,

pull the wire up and over that top jaw as far as it'll go,

then reposition the pliers so the bottom jaw of the pliers is in the loop.

Pull the loop all the way around and

then we're going to wrap the loop by grasping the wire across the loop. I mean across. And

then

wrapping the rest of the wire around. And I'm just going to wrap right over

what I did before to make my big messy wrap.

And then I'm going to trim the end.

There's our other little circle flower circle there and

we're ready to do our bead dangle with our pearl.

So we've got our head pin and our potato shaped

freshwater pearl and

we're ready to make a wrap loop in the top. So we're going to grasp the wire above the pearl,

bend the wire 90 degrees,

reposition the pliers to the top of that bend, pull the wire up and over the top jaw as far as it'll go.

Reposition the pliers so the bottom jaw is in the loop and pull the wire around.

And now I want to feed that onto my little flower and make sure that the loop is nestled in between

in between the three beads, so there are three beads on either side. This part a little bit tricky, just kind of manhandle it.

Get them in there. Nope. That's the wrong spot. Let me move it over bead. There we go. That's the right spot. And

now we can wrap this loop. And to do that

I'm going to grasp the loop across and pull the tail of the headpin wire around the neck and

do another big messy wrap and

then I can just trim the end. Got a

little bit of a sticky outie wire there.

And

then we can just feed that on to our earring wire and

nestle it down

into the earring wire loop and

press it closed. And now we've got a pretty pair of turquoise and pearl earrings.

How to make gorgeous nude nails - Duration: 4:33.

Hello, my name is Olesja Nikolenko and I am the owner and creator of Mosaic Professionails

Today I would like to show you how to make gorgeous nude nails

and how to choose the perfect matching shade of cover pink.

Nude nails are very popular and there are a lot of different cover pink gels and gel polishes on the market.

When you choose the cover pink gel or nude gel polish. Always try to see how it looks on the nail.

Sometimes the color looks nice in the bottle but then, after you apply in on the nail it doesn't look beautiful anymore.

When you choose the nude color, match it with your skin.

Try to put a drop on your nail to see how it looks together with your skin. And if it looks nice- buy with confidence.

But there are so many different skin types in the world. How to match all of them?

We have 2 collections of easy cover gel-paints. They are soak off and flexible.

So you can use them everywhere from gel polish to builder gel.

Now lets see how they come on the nails

For this set I choose 3 shades: Moscow, Stockholm, Ottawa.

I already built my nails using Zephyr Cover pink gel.

It matches most of the skin types very nice

I start with beautiful grey shade Stockholm.

Overlay the whole finger first. Make sure to start with a color application on the edge.

And then work down from the cuticle.

Now just paint the half of the nail with this beautiful grey color and leave the rest pure Zephyr nude shade.

Now let's make 2 color gradients on one nail. Apply Moscow on one side

Make application always the same. Edge first and then down from the cuticle.

Then apply the grey tone and combine them like this. Easy. With easy cover

Thumb is always out of the company. I will make it special.

Now cure everything in the lamp and overlay with the top gel.

I choose the Perfect top gel because its very universal. And I love its viscosity

Look at this elegant and gorgeous manicure. Light and so natural.

Colors in Easy cover collections are made to match each other.

Doesn't matter how you combine them. It will always look very good.
