Millennial men say they need to make $118,000 a year to be happy - Daily News - Duration: 5:34.
How much does it cost to make a Millennial man happy? At $118,000 a year, the price tag for men's happiness amounts to about twice as much as the $58,500 annually, on average, that Millennial woman say they need, according to a recent survey of 1,519 people age 21-37 by TD Ameritrade
It's also more than twice as much as the $55,000 that Millennial men said they needed to be happy just two years ago
Women reported only needing $48,500 to be happy in 2016. 'Continuously improving economic conditions, such as historically low unemployment data and strong stock market performance, may influence Millennials to be bolder on how much it takes to be financially happy,' said Chris Bohlsen, director of Investor Services for TD Ameritrade
'With unemployment levels hitting a near 50-year low, the mindset of "I'm just happy to have a job" no longer holds true,' Bohlsen told DailyMail
com. When the genders are averaged together, Millennials say they need to make $80,000 a year to feel happy - $30,000 more than the amount they needed in 2016 to feel good about life
With unemployment levels hitting a near 50-year low, the mindset of 'I'm just happy to have a job' no longer holds true
-Chris Bohlsen, TD Ameritrade However, the amount Millennials say they need varies dramatically between those under and over age 30
On average, Millennials of both genders under age 30 say they need $53,500 to be happy, compared to the $101,500 required by Millennials age 30 and older
'Keep in mind that many Millennials are starting families which is another contributor to the higher income expectations,' Bohlsen said
'As anyone with family and children knows, there are expenses, and there is a desire to provide a higher quality of life for your children
When you have to take care of other family members, you set higher goals for yourself
'Reality suggests that many Millennials may be fairly unhappy: Americans age 25-34 years old earn a median salary of $41,288 annually, according to Bureau of Labor Statistics data from the second quarter of 2018
When broken down by gender, men fare better, making a median of $44,564 a year compared to women's $38,376
Share this article Share Despite the stark difference between what they make and what they want, a separate TD Ameritrade report found that more than half of Millennials believe they will one day become millionaires
That's in spite of crushing students loans (20 percent never expect to pay them off) and the fact that 17 percent still can't say they're financially independent from their parents
Despite anticipating financial success in the face of lackluster economic realities, Millennials have different ideas about what kind of lifestyle that wealth will afford them
Nearly a quarter (24 percent) said they don't expect to own a home. They're planning to build different family lives too: One in four said they don't expect to get married and 30 percent said they aren't planning on having children
On average, Millennials expect to retire at age 56, despite saying they don't expect to start saving for retirement until age 36
Still, a full 28 percent said they don't ever plan to retire. The good news was that 70 percent of Millennials described themselves as 'savers' this year compared to 62 percent in 2016
But that doesn't always equal retirement savings – 43 percent said they were saving for a vacation, while 39 percent said savings were going into an emergency fund and 25 percent have started saving for their children's education
In addition, many Millennials are struggling with debt. Nationwide, they carried a median deb of $23,064, according to a LendingTree analysis of anonymized credit report data on more than 9 million people born 1981-1996

Breakfast Bagel Sliders - How To Make Sliders - Tasty Breakfast Sandwich Recipes - Duration: 6:19.
thank you stop my no hippie BBQ this is Lyle what I'm be doing in this video is
I'm gonna be making a recipe that I saw on Facebook these are gonna be breakfast
bagel sliders anyway it was one of those real quick how to make sliders
videos I figured I'd go ahead and give it a shot as far as my video goes
there's gonna be two steps in this process that I'm going to forego I'm not
gonna show you scrambling eggs or cooking the bacon I figure everybody out
there knows how to do that and if you don't leave it in the comments below and
I'll cook up a video on that the ingredients for this are very simple
let's get to it these are the ingredients we are going to be using for
these breakfast bagel sliders I'm going to be using about 10 eggs we have 10 of
these miniature bagels you can find these in your regular grocery store
about 10 slices of bacon some cheese we're gonna be topping it with some
poppy seeds but you could use some garlic you could use whatever you want
garden you know dried garlic onions things like that I'm gonna need some
butter we're gonna melt that the cream cheese I'm gonna kind of whip this up
and then slice these green onions very thinly and mix them with this cheese and
we're gonna be topping it with some tomato as far as the eggs though I am
gonna cook these eggs with a touch of heavy cream and we're gonna season it
with salt and pepper as needed we are baking cooked our egg cooked we have our
tomatoes sliced up our butters melted and I've sliced up this green onion and
added it to our cream cheese our next step is all we're gonna be doing the
spread and cream cheese on this bottom layer of bagels
okay now that we have that done just
gonna get a nice layer of these scrambled eggs on here and if some of
them fall in between that's fine
time to get our cheese on can't have too much cheese in this recipe and use this
whole bag
our bacon now I have my bacon cut up kind of they're not quite troubled
they're just little small slices I was good to go to me get our tomatoes
working
get our top son
I think this close enough I'm just gonna drizzle the top with a little bit of
this butter I could brush it on I just don't have a brush near me
and with our poppy seeds
now they're gonna go in the oven 350 degrees for 10 minutes they're looking
like coming right out of the oven I'm gonna go ahead and let these cool down
for about 5-10 minutes then we'll go ahead and plate some up sit done deal
let's get into it see if it was worth it
I'm glad I added that tomato to the breakfast bagels that was not part of the original recipe now as I
was making this I was thinking about a few different things or a few different
ways to make this I think I might have gone more with an omelet type of egg
instead of a scrambled egg on this so if I make this again that's gonna be one of
the changes that I make maybe even just go with like American cheese slices
instead of the trip shredded cheese I think American cheese will go really
good with this as well but hey this is a nice concept I think it's good to go
could take another bite in front of you guys but I'm just gonna thank you for
stopping by little hippie BBQ comment subscribe know I'm out bagel breakfast sliders delish

How to Make a Halloween Treat Bag - Duration: 6:36.
This is about as spooky as I like my Halloween.
For me, it's all about the sweet treats
and the little children in cute costumes.
Hi, I'm Jessica Taylor and in this video,
I'm going to show you how to package up
your Halloween treats in style with the Mini Treat Bag Dies.
To make a treat bag this size,
you're going to need two of the dies,
this large piece here and this smaller piece here.
Next, you'll want to find some pattern paper.
I chose this straight paper and I wanna encourage you
that you don't have to have actual Halloween paper
to make treat bags.
This was from a set that the other side is cameras.
It's not for Halloween at all
but I thought it went well with the ghost
and the purple spooky.
So I chose this striped piece of paper.
When you're using your dies,
you wanna make sure that they go the same direction.
So the top of this bag is this little zigzag
and so when I'm positioning my die on the paper,
I want the ridge side down
and I want to position both pieces
so that the pattern goes the same way.
So to run this through the Big Shot,
I'm using my Magnetic Platform
with a clear cutting pad on top
then I'm going to put my paper down
and first I'll position the larger piece
and then I'll put a clear cutting pad on top of that
and run it through my Big Shot.
When it comes through the other side,
I'll have the first piece for my Mini Treat Bag
then I'm just going to slide this back through,
move my paper back on and I want the top to be at the top
so that the pattern goes the same direction on my whole bags
so I'll put the smaller die frame there
and roll that through.
I'm not sure if I mentioned it
but you wanna cut your paper to six inches wide
so that it will fit the Framelit die for the bag
and also so that it will slide through your Big Shot.
So now I have both those pieces
and you'll notice with this paper
that the backside isn't really Halloween.
It doesn't really match with what I'm going with
and when I fold this, that's gonna kinda show
so I wanna cover that up with some black card stock.
So I'm gonna slide this back through.
Again, make that a platform, clear cutting pad.
I'm gonna put my black card stock down.
I've cut it to three and 5/8 inches wide
and then I just wanna cut out the kinda zigzag pattern here
for the top of the bag
then I'll put a clear cutting pad on top of that
and run it through my Big Shot.
Now that we have all our pieces cut out,
we can assemble our mini treat bag.
So you're just gonna fold on the score lines
so this little piece will have a tab.
This piece will fold up like so
and the bottom will fold up in the back like this.
So the first thing we need to do is attach the two pieces.
So I am going to put a line of Tear & Tape Adhesive
along the small flap
and then I'll just peel the back, enough of it,
and we'll match this tab up to the side
of the larger piece for the bag
then we'll put a piece of tape down one side
so that we can get the back.
Just fold that together
and you wanna give it a little bit of give
so that it forms a pouch
that you can actually put something in
then we'll put one more piece of Tear & Tape
across the bottom piece and fold that up.
Now, I want to insert the black piece here
and if you've cut it a little bit too big,
you might need to trim it down
but I'm just gonna slide that in there.
I want it to be just a little bit higher than the back
so that you can't see the inside design of the paper
and then I am just gonna take a little tiny piece
of Tear & Tape and put it right in the center
and attach it in like that.
So then we can decorate our Mini Treat Bag.
I have a little topper here.
This was actually meant to be the top of a little cello bag
and so it's got a scoreline in it
and I'm gonna use a ghost to cover up that scoreline.
So let's start by stamping our greeting.
I'm gonna say treats for you in Basic Gray ink.
I'm just gonna stamp that at the bottom
of this kind of banner piece
and then I'll go ahead and tape this on.
You can use any kind of tape.
I have my Tear & Tape handy
so I'm just gonna go ahead and use that
and then once you have the adhesive on the back,
you can just put that on the front of your bag.
Next, I'm gonna put spooky
and this is just a die cut sticker
that will fit right over top of that.
For my ghost, I have a little silver foil piece
that will go behind his eyes to make them shimmer.
For that, I'm gonna grab a little different adhesive.
So I'm just gonna use my Take Your Pick tool
to put some glue dots right around his eyes
and then that will help to keep the silver foil in place
then I'll put a couple Stampin' Dimensionals
on the back of the ghost
and we'll center him right over that line
so that his little arms cover it up
then we can take some of this black twine.
It's got a little silver to it
and I'm just gonna tie that in a bow right above the ghost.
And there you have a cute little treat bag
for giving your Halloween treats.

How To Make An Aqua Crystal Beaded Necklace: Jewelry Tutorial - Duration: 15:53.
To make this necklace, we're using a selection of beads. We've got some round beads that are gold. These are four millimeters in size.
Then we have some freshwater pearls that are rice shaped.
We also have some pretty aqua faceted rondelles that are four by six millimeters.
And then we have a gorgeous pearl and rhinestone connector. It's 19
millimeters in size.
We are putting it all together with bead stringing wire. It's seven-strand bead stringing wire and it's gold.
Then we've got some findings here. We've got a gold headpin,
a gold jump ring that's three millimeters,
two gold wire guardians,
two gold crimp covers.
We have crimp beads. We're going to use two of these.
These are size number one. And then we have a lobster clasp that comes with a jump ring.
For tools we're using chain-nose pliers,
round-nose pliers, and wire cutters.
To get started we're going to turn our connector into a pretty pendant. To do that
we're going to add a little bead dangle at the bottom.
To make our bead dangle, we're going to start with a headpin and
slide on our aqua faceted rondelle. And
Then we're going to make a wrapped loop. And to do that we're going to use round-nose pliers and
we're going to grasp the wire of the headpin
right above the bead and bend the wire 90 degrees. And I'm bending the wire 90 degrees toward me, like that.
Then I'm going to reposition the pliers
so they're at the top of that bend and I'm going to wrap the wire up and over the top jaw of the
round-nose pliers, like that. And what that does is make a partial loop.
I'm going to reposition the pliers so the bottom jaw is in the loop. And then I'm going to finish pulling the wire around
to make a nice little circle loop there. There's our little circle loop.
But now I normally I would go ahead and wrap the tail of this wire around the neck to wrap the loop.
But I want to connect it to
one of the loops in the bottom of our connector, in either of the loops of our connector.
So I'm just going to nestle that down in there like that.
And
now I want to wrap this loop and that'll keep this dangle connected
nice and perfectly.
So to wrap the loop, I'm gonna grasp across the loop with my round-nose pliers and
I'm gonna pull the tail of the headpin wire around
the neck two times, just like that.
So now you can see it's nice and wrapped.
Now I'm going to use my wire cutters to
trim the end. And I'm going to position this so that I can get in there a
little better. There we go. And
I'm using the flush side of my wire cutters
against my work. And cut that. And I've got a little bit of a tail sticking out there,
so I'm going to use my chain-nose pliers to press that tail down.
This can be a little tricky because it wants to rotate on me,
so I'm going to hold on to the loop like that and then press the tail down. And
that's just a little trick.
Like that. So now we've got our little bead dangle attached to our pendant. Looks pretty already. But to connect our
pendant to the necklace, we need an extra jump ring at the top.
We need to add a jump ring to make it hang right. If we slid this necklace or the pendant on to our necklace, it would hang
sideways. So we're going to add a jump ring to the top.
To open the jump ring we're going to use two pliers.
oops
And we're going to grab one side of the jump ring with
one set of pliers, just to the right of where the jump ring opens, and
I'm using my second pliers on the other side of that opening. And I'm going to rotate one set of pliers down and
rotate the other up. And what that does is keep the round shape of the jump ring.
Now I'm just going to slide that through the loop.
And I'm going to use my chain-nose pliers to close the jump ring now.
One of the nice things about
opening a jump ring
properly like that is it keeps the round shape and then you can just sort of cheat and use your chain-nose pliers to just
press it back together and it will go right back together where it should be. And
now we have a pretty pendant that's ready for our necklace and we can start beading.
To make the necklace the first thing you want to do is cut a piece of bead stringing wire
that's 24 inches long. And we're going to find the middle of our bead stringing wire
just by folding it in half and finding the center. And
then we're going to place a Bead Bug on the center. A Bead Bug is just a little clamp that
you could buy at a bead store or
online and it just will hold the beads in place that they don't slide off. If you don't have a Bead Bug you can just
put a piece of masking tape there. And
what we're going to do is slide on the pendant and
this way the pendant will sit sort of at the center of our bead stringing wire and then we can bead either side of
the necklace and that'll, the Bead Bug will just keep everything from sliding off.
So for this design, we've got our three different bead types here and we're going to start with these beautiful turquoise beads.
The turquoise beads are the faceted rondelles and
we chose these to go first because they're going to sit closest to the pendant.
We're going to start with two of our faceted crystals and then we're going to slide on three of our rice-shaped
freshwater pearls and
that's going to be our pattern is to go back and forth
between our different bead types. I'm going to slide that down.
That's to make it one more of our freshwater pearls and
now we're going to slide on to more of our turquoise beads,
followed by three of our gold beads. And you'll start to see the pattern emerge here.
Slide that down.
So you can see our pattern here is
two of the turquoise beads, three pearls, two turquoise beads, three gold beads.
And now we'll do two turquoise beads again.
And
then we'll just repeat our pattern and
we're going to do this until we have about eight and a half inches on this one side and
then repeat the pattern on the other side.
I repeated the pattern on the other side of the necklace. And I've realized now that I'm at the end that I only have one
turquoise bead left
because we used the other turquoise bead at the bottom of our pendant.
This is a classic beading error, but it's an easy fix.
What we're going to do is, I'm going to set this down very carefully so that my beads don't slide off,
I'm going to go back to the other side of my necklace,
remove the Bead Bug and
I'm going to slide off my three gold beads and
one of the turquoise beads. And then I'm going to slide three gold beads back on and
I'm going to do the same thing on the other side so that the pattern matches. And
because it's the back of the necklace
where we only have the one turquoise bead at the end, it really won't show. And also it kind of looks like a design decision
because it's only at the end
where the clasp is. And often necklaces change as they get down to the end.
Ao it'll look like that now and I'm going to repeat that on this side of the necklace and
now our two sides match.
And if you never tell anybody,
they'll never know. They'll think it was a design decision that you made on your own and you can always use your extra bead
that's left over for another pendant.
We finished beading both sides of our necklace and now we're ready to put on the clasp. And to do that
we're going to start with one end and
remove our Bead Bug or masking tape if you used masking tape to keep the beads from sliding off.
We're gonna slide on a crimp bead. And a crimp bead is basically a piece of metal, or a metal bead
really, that's meant to be flattened. You can see it's teeny tiny and I'm just gonna let that slide down where my beads are.
And then I'm going to slide on a wire guardian. And a wire guardian, I'll show you what this is.
It's like a little horseshoe that has openings on either end and what it does is it protects the wire
from
breakage. Essentially the clasp could wrap around on this bead stringing wire and it could wear over time.
So this will protect that. So what I'm doing is sliding the bead stringing wire up through one side of my wire guardian and
now I'm going to slide it down the other side. There's like a little channel that the wire fits through.
Like that. And I'll pull that down.
So now my wire is protected in there. And
now I want to slide on my lobster clasp.
So I'm just going to take the loop of my lobster clasp and
feed it on to the wire and then nestle it up into that horseshoe of my wire guardian. And
now I'm going to take my bead stringing wire end and I'm going to slide it through that crimp bead and
through one of the beads. And that's so when I cut the wire, it will get hidden by that bead. And
then I'm going to slide this up to where my
wire guardian is because I want that crimp bead pretty close to where the wire guardian is. So it holds it in place.
I'm going to take my chain-nose pliers, and I'm going to reach in and just flatten that crimp bead or crimp it.
Really I'm flattening it more than crimping it. And
now that crimp bead is flattened and it will stay in place.
And now what I can do is
see where that
wire is coming through my first bead there, I'm
going to use my wire cutters
and I'm going to cut that wire. And I'm going to make sure not to cut
the wire that I've beaded because that would be a real drag after all that work. And
so that's my first end on there and the beads are gonna hide where I've cut that end.
And now what I can do is slide all my beads down to that end.
Take off my Bead Bug or masking tape off the other side. Make sure I don't have any slack on my necklace. And
they don't, that's great. And I'm going to do the same technique to finish the other end.
So to do that, I'm going to take my crimp bead and
slide it on
first. And
then I'm going to slide on my wire guardian. So to do that
I'm feeding my bead stringing wire up through the channel on one side of the horseshoe, like that,
and
then I'm gonna pull it around and I want it to go down
by my crimp bead for this end because we don't want any slack on our necklace. I'm going to go ahead and pull it now
to make it easier.
Slide the bead stringing wire through the other side of my horseshoe,
like that. And
now I want it, before I feed it through the crimp bead,
I'm going to feed on my jump ring. And this jump ring is
essentially the other side of the clasp and it came with that lobster clasp.
And I'm going to nestle that into the horseshoe of my
wire guardian, just like I did with the lobster clasp.
And now this is where this gets a little bit tricky.
You want to work in a pretty tight little area here because you don't want a bunch of
slack or empty wire in your necklace when you're done.
So pull your bead stringing wire down so that your wire guardian is pretty close to that crimp bead and
then take the end of your of your bead stringing wire and feed it through.
See if I can do this so you can see it. Feed it down
into that crimp bead like we've done on the other side and through the first bead.
And actually it's going through two beads.
I might just let it do that because it's gonna be easier if it's naturally going through two beads.
Go ahead and go with it. Doesn't really matter.
It's just gonna get hidden in there. And I'm going to pull on my wire a little bit
so that I don't have a lot of slack in there. And
then before I trim the wire I want to flatten my crimp bead.
So I'm using my chain-nose pliers again
and I'm just going to reach in with the tip because I don't have a lot of room here and
flatten my crimp bead.
Like that. And
now, I'll trim the end of my wire
with my wire cutters. And
then I'm just gonna jiggle this to hide that wire in my
in my bead there.
And now you can see that this is all nice and lined up, but it's not super tidy seeing that crimp bead.
So we're going to show you a little trick to make this look more professional, more finished.
We're going to use crimp bead covers to cover our crimp beads. A crimp bead cover is like a little metal clam
that when you close it over the crimp bead it will end up looking like one of the other beads.
So I'm going to hold it in my fingers like that.
Take the end of my necklace and I'm going to nestle that crimp bead down in my crimp bead cover.
Like that. And then I'm going to take my chain-nose pliers, and I'm going to gently flatten or close the clam
over that crimp bead. And I don't want to press it too hard because I don't want my pliers to
mar the little bead because it's hollow. And
you can see it ends up looking like one of the other beads. So it really makes it look nice and finished.
I'm going to do that on the other side of my necklace.
Grab my crimp bead cover.
And I like just holding it in my fingers like that, but you can use a tool if that's easier.
You could hold it in a separate set of pliers.
I'm going to nestle my crimp bead in there and
then I'm going to use my chain-nose pliers to gently flatten or close,
gently close that clam
over the crimp bead.
So that looks nice and finished and
now I can just close
my clasp or connect my clasp and
I've got a beautiful beaded necklace with this gorgeous pearl rhinestone pendant.

How to Make a Sims 4 Super Nerd: Logic Programming & Handiness Aspirations - Duration: 10:32.
Let's take a quick look at a pair of aspirations, with tips for completing them and what accomplishing
the various goals will do for your Sims.
Nerd Brain and Computer Whiz are somewhat similar in that they both require mental skills.
The two work nicely together and programming can eventually become a solid money-maker
for you.
These two aspirations don't perfectly line up, but their associated skills are both heavily
reliant on you being focused to gain them.
I figured I could use Logic to help with Computer Whiz indirectly.
I gave my Sim the genius, music lover, and loner traits and he gets fast learner as a
bonus for choosing a knowledge aspiration.
I started from scratch like I almost always do here, so first I needed to establish an
income stream.
After buying a decent computer and the bookshelf, chess table, and eventual 6,000 Simoleon rocket
ship you need my Sim was nearly broke.
If you're going to live off programming you need the most reliable computer possible.
Hacking does not have a 'resume' option, and sometimes the computer will break down right
in the middle of a hack.
I sacrificed a stove, so my Sim's living off family size garden salad leftovers.
Yum.
He'll be happy anyway.
Because programming is a decent way to make money and is also used in the computer whiz
aspiration, I started grinding it after visiting with the welcome wagon and playing chess with
one of them.
Throughout this I will use chess games and some friendly interactions to keep my Sim's
social need topped off.
It's an efficient way to gain some skill xp in logic, though he has half the social need
because of his loner trait.
Programming starts off really slow and if you're doing computer whiz you need to practice
for 5 hours which will give you a couple of levels, better if you're focused.
Reading Simpedia on the computer gives you the focused mood you need, which can be stacked
with ponder chess moves, decorated and music bonuses.
You can get to very focused fairly early like this.
After practicing you'll be able to hack but only make about $80 from a success - it gets
better as more hacking targets open up, because you can only do them once per day.
Money gain from every hacking target also scales with your programming level, and effective
level at that so being focused makes you 2-3 levels higher than you really are.
My daily routine was to generally hack, then make plugins to bring in money to afford some
better equipment.
Gotta save up for a rocket, after all.
The first milestone of Computer Whiz is very streamlined because you're practicing a money
maker, and can resolve fun by playing video games, always advancing toward your goals.
Balancing things this way can let you finish more aspirations in a Sim's lifetime.
Less wasted time and more money.
These aspirations use the handiness, logic, programming, and video gaming skills and we're
making usage of all of them.
The goals are varied but generally easy to complete - like reading 3 books and reaching
the third level of logic.
Something nice about logic is, if you get focused you can head to an easel and paint
math diagrams.
Hang them on the wall and enable the emotional auras to make your Sim focused.
Hang enough and you'll get to +2 - it takes a crazy amount to get 3 but becomes unnecessary
when you are getting to +8 or 9 focused.
With tall wall height you can fit more in an area by the way.
Now you're able to all four skills in that one room if you buy a woodworking bench.
It's very convenient, and all these skills are useful in some way.
You need a couple handiness levels in order to buy parts.
If you practice the skill with a woodworking bench, you can use the horse and other small
statues to decorate.
Hide them out of the way if you find them unattractive.
The point here is these give 2 environment, costing 10 Simoleons vs my Sim's 150 Simoleon
curtains that give the same amount.
You'll make them good quality sometimes and double or triple the environment score.
When you get to where programming is enough to pay the bills, I'd go ahead and get into
the tech guru career track to get the final money you need for the rocket.
With established programming skill and a good night and morning routine, you can be focused
and work hard to very easily get the first 3 promotions in three day's work.
Don't bother hacking job performance until later.
That's a lot of bonus and wage money very quickly anyway, and you could very well fail
and cause it to take an extra day.
Rocket science is a strange skill but I do recommend you read some of the texts that
come up in its rabbit hole adventures, they can be quite entertaining and sometimes funny.
A simplistic choose-your-own-adventure.
That said there's often no wrong answer but your Sim's skills sometimes play a role.
Like if it's a talking yourself out of trouble mission, it may want you to have at least
charisma level 2 to succeed.
Other times the mission options are based on your rocket's upgrades, like whether it
has upgrades or not.
Consider that before you fire blasters.
Many missions are like this, regarding cargo, shooting a hostile alien, or fuel consumption.
The rocket upgrades can be really expensive, but come in handy if you want to do space
collections.
I did the five missions rather than the 5 upgrades for the nerd brain milestone.
A little tip I'd share for your skill gain and adventure success rates is that you can
put aura items outside the launch pad, as well as decorations.
Your Sim counts as if they're in the back yard, so you can make them focused and happy
from decorated bonuses just as you if they're inside.
I moved my horses, dragon and math diagrams out here.
I know it looks awful but I'm fairly poor and these are great values!
Hide 'em behind a bush if you want!
I want to remind people it's not an awful idea to have a cheap bathtub near your rocket,
in case you are alone and catch fire.
It can save your Sim's life.
Flying with decent rocket science skill and getting the landing stabilizer and computer
upgrads will make this much less likely.
To finish Computer Whiz, you need $3000 in electronics, to spend 100 total hours on the
PC.
Writing doesn't count so just play games, make apps, and hack your way there.
A lot of it should be done by the time you're on that milestone.
I did NOT buy a better PC for the $3,000 electronics thing but did get a better radio.
I would get a better PC from the esports gaming branch of tech guru.
One of the best PCs in the game and you can keep it after you quit.
Level 5 in the career is also needed for the final milestone, but this is very easy with
skills already covered.
2 shifts, tops.
At this stage I did buy some rewards due to 6,000 satisfaction going unused.
I could've been more efficient by getting a good one as soon as it was available.
I went with independent and hardly hungry.
Independent stacks with loner to where you only need 25% of the normal socialization
a Sim requires.
Finishing Nerd Brain means maxing the logic skill and upgrading 5 more objects.
I'm not sure that the rocket counts, I didn't get to test it.
These are easy to do at this stage and money is coming in.
We'll probably want to go on to the esports gamer branch of tech in order to get the PC,
then switch to renaissance Sim to get some easy satisfaction from a third aspiration.
This is because a large chunk of those milestones will only require 1 thing of us.
We need to get a few levels in different careers to do that, which requires quitting our job
but it's not such a big deal when you're already maxed and you can go for other rewards then
return to esports to overlevel your career and establish a good retirement.
When you have at last completed these tasks, you get two reward traits.
Nerd Brain gives the handy reward.
While I was unsure of the cooldown time on this interaction before this video, in the
testing I just did it is a flat 24 hours.
However, it uses no parts and your Sim also doesn't need to have handiness maxed.
That means they can do high level upgrades without being high level.
Since maxing handiness isn't a part of nerd brain, this is a very very nice time and money-saver.
Some upgrades cost $300-500 Simoleons each, particularly on electronics.d
The Computer Whiz reward is the Webmaster trait.
It unlocks three abilities for you.
Stalk Sims online to learn all their traits really quickly, do a research binge to get
continuous xp in randomly chosen skills.
The final ability is Turking.
Turk on the computer to earn money.
Every one of these interactions is found under the web menu, with binge being under web then
research.
Turking on average seems to generate around $120 per hour, as it's random.
You'll get $75 and then $75 a few minutes later, and another time wait about an hour
to get one to go through.
Despite this randomness it is fairly easy money.
Probably better than some of the lower level hacking you can do.
Research Binge is the one that really surprised me.
While we initially wrote this reward trait off, it has its uses for Sims that have many
skills.
Sometimes it appears to not work.
I think that at those times it has chosen a skill where the minimum to gain XP is level
1, but you have not yet unlocked it and reached level 1.
If you unlock as many skills as possible you'll get the maximum benefit from this.
The standard periodic experience you get for skills while using their practice and crafting
abilities is what you'll get.
It's not divided, rather 3 or 4 skills can get that full amount of XP at the same time.
So you can get about quadruple skill XP when 4 that you have are chosen but you cannot
pick which will get the bonus.
Try it out every now and then and give up for the day if nothing is happening.
Use your skill XP bars to determine that.
This is now one of the cooler rewards in my eyes, even if its bonus is rather bland.
It's a ton of XP but uncontrollable and tailored toward Sims who do everything.
If you're immortal it'll be your best friend.

How to Make a Duct Tape Bag on a Ziploc | Sophie's World - Duration: 14:30.
hi I'm Sophie and welcome to my world you know I haven't done duct tape in a
very long time and I felt the time was here to do some more so we are gonna
take this very simple ziploc bag and turn it into this adorable little purse
pouch and it's got a little pocket in the front and an easy-open top I'm gonna
teach you how to make it right now for this project you'll need duct tape an
exacto knife or box cutter cutting board scissors 1 gallon ziploc bag sticky
back velcro and in this case I have pre-made a 48 inch strap see how the
ziploc bag is sealed here on the end I'm gonna take my scissors and I'm just
gonna snip that right there so that that opens up now this is just gonna make it
easier for the next step so I'm just gonna snip both sides now what I want to
do is take this edge here and I'm going to tape it down on to the ziploc bag so
I'm just going to be using some tape
just little strips of tape here I like to use three strips that's what I find
is a good number he put one here one in the middle
and one on this side over here so you've taped down that back flap now what we're
gonna do is take a strip of tape I'm gonna be using blue the exact length
from side to side here just gonna use my exacto knife I call this an exacto knife
it's really actually what it is is a box cutter but I like these because
they slide in and out peel your tape lay the line of tape right at the edge as
close as you can get but what you don't want to do is put it over top of the
other one of the other edge you're going on the inside edge right above where
that ziploc is so see where the ziploc is right here and I'm not getting
close to that ziploc I'm right over top of it then I flip this over and fold
this till it meets the edge of the zip lock part so right to the edge so
basically what I've done is I've just sealed in that ziploc edge now peel
these pieces of tape and repeat this process on the other side folding down
the piece that you've already done and sealing it with those pieces of tape
that gives us the top part
now we're gonna be doing a different technique than we normally do when we're
making duct tape fabric and duct tape purses and things like that we're going
to be doing a flip-flop technique so the first thing I'm gonna do is take my
polka dots I'm gonna pull my tape out and what I want to do is actually go
about an inch longer on either side then the width of the bag I'm going to take
this all the way up to the edge and I'm going to overlap now if you have any
extra on the side here just trim that right now just so you can see here
there's a little bit of extra trim that so that that is not sticking out over
the sides take your tape make sure you overlap by about a quarter to a half an
inch so see you can see where I've overlapped now flip it over and seal
that side and seal the other side so now I've sealed both sides at this point we
are going to add the strap so here's what I want you to do I want you to give
yourself a bunch of little pieces take your strap and this is very very
important I want to make sure you see this when you lay down your strap you're
going to go flat and flat but this part is going to do a slight up and over
twist so see if this is flat this is flat this goes up and over what you don't
want to do is twist it you want it to go straight up and straight over like that
take your strap you want to lay it in so that it is about two to three like a
thumb width from the top of the bag you want to make sure you have at least
about an inch and a half to two inches of
strap right here below the bag opening take a piece of tape a little piece and
just lay it right on top going this way across do the same thing underneath it
and once again underneath so that you have sealed that whole piece of strap in
but now what you're going to do is come back with another piece and you're going
to go up and down so you're going to go parallel and you're going to seal off
those pieces that you just put down now once again this is a point where you
want to just check and make sure that your strap is not twisted and then you
want to lay down the second strap side there you can see both straps are sealed
in place now what we're going to do is we're going to come back with a second
piece of tape and I ripped that piece of tape so I want to make this nice and
smooth you get rid of that this piece of tape is going to be exactly the right
size so I'm not going to overlap meaning that it's not going to go from the front
to the back so I'm going to cut this piece here it's the same size as the bag
so that when I lay this over top and I'm lined up I'm lining it up where it came
over the edge this is why I folded it over so you see how it comes over here
and over to the back that's where I'm going to line up this piece of tape
right at the top from side to side
so there you can see I have really sealed this strap in nice and tight so
that's not going to come undone now what we're gonna do is we are going to go on
a process of going back and forth with the design and in this case I'm going to
do polka dots and I'm gonna do green you may find according to how much you've
overlapped here that you might have a little teeny teeny tiny bit of extra
clear that's totally fine don't worry about that because now what we're gonna
do is we're gonna actually seal this end and what we're gonna do is take the same
color that we did for our upper part and this can be a little bit a tiny little
bit bigger than the actual bag width wise just a tiny bit we're gonna cut it
right down the middle now if you have a lot left over here if you've got
actually a strip of clear then what you're gonna do is you're gonna leave
this full but because I have come pretty close to the edge I'm just gonna be
using a half piece and I'm just going to cut that right down the middle put this
off to the side because I'll use it again later on and I'm going to do the
half on half off which means I'm going to put it half on half off flip it over
and fold this over and seal the bag now I'm going to just snip off those tiny
little extra wings that might have there and just be careful that you don't cut
the bag make sure you cut to the outside edge now you can leave your bag if you
want to just like this and have a nice open bag make a long one but this one
I'm going to be making a pocket for it so what I'm gonna do is fold this up
where I think that's like a nice pocket I could make it bigger if I wanted to
but I'm gonna fold it up about 1/3 of the way up now what I'm going to do is
I'm going to prep my tape because I'm gonna do a half on
half off here half on half off it there and then I'm going to come across the
back to make it match the front half on half off flip it over
seal it I'm gonna close that off otherwise it looks like it's going to
nowhere
I'm going to close that off like that and now it kind of matches the front get
rid of that little extra wing
now you also can leave this at this point I have a nice little flat bag but
I'm going to give it a little pooch so because I'm going to give it a pooch I'm
gonna get some tape ready for the bottom this remaining piece here I'm going to
slice right down the middle and then I'm going to cut myself some little strips
I'll need this big piece and then I'm going to cut some little strips now to
pooch it I take my hands place it in the center and right in here where the edge
is where the end is I'm gonna put my finger right there and you can see as I
squeeze it you can see where my finger is I can make a triangle or a kitty cat
ear see that I call that a kitty cat ear so just take that edge that little kitty
cat ear and fold it down and using a piece of this tape I'm going to seal it
down so line it up and seal it down now that opens your bag up now you want to
seal it you can use this polka dot tape if you want but I'm gonna stick with
matching with this blue strip so that it kind of goes all the way around the back
so I just line this up over here and pull it right across the bottom and it
can come up and match with the sides here just make sure you flatten that out
down really nice and even there you go so now you've got this really awesome
bag and that cute so then the only thing that's left is you see how we've kind of
got a little space in between here it won't hurt anything
but if you want to you can take some little pieces of tape and seal that as
well just little pieces and it doesn't need to be anything major
it's just to keep things you can get in there so you guys can see just like that
see in the bottom there and that's just to make sure that nothing sneaks down
underneath that little tiny tiny tiny ledge and I mean it is tiny it isn't
really that noticeable at all but just in case and now what we want to do is
add a little piece of velcro so I've got my sticky back velcro here just peel one
side keep the two sticky pieces together but peel one side of the sticky and
place it on the inside of your flap then peel back the other sticky piece of
paper backing from the sticky piece and then push it down that's gonna make sure
that it goes in the exact place that you want it and then see you can velcro it
open and shut make sure that anything that you put in here won't fall out so
now you have this great bag and what's awesome about it is it's waterproof and
it seals itself and there you have it your very own duct-tape bag made out of
a ziploc bag now if you enjoy duct tape projects make sure you check out my

How to Make Pumpkin Spice Hot Sauce - Duration: 10:58.
Welcome to 7 Pot Club. I'm Rob.
🎵I grow hot peppers 🎵
Today, we're here at the farm of our good friends Peter
and Carmen. Peter's Pumpkins and Carmen's Corn is located in Shakopee, MN outside Minneapolis.
We met them several years ago when they started selling their produce at our neighborhood
farmer's market. We share our peppers with them, and they use them in some of their delicious
homemade canned goods, including pickles, jams and salsas. Look at these extra hot dill
pickles with three of our Carolina Reapers inside the jar. Yum. Today, we're here to
pick up an appropriately seasonal ingredient for the hot sauce we're making in today's
episode. What is it? Pumpkin! We're going to use fresh pumpkin and pumpkin spices, plus
our own superhot peppers, to make a delicious hot sauce with the flavors of fall.
Let's get started.
🎵I added pumpkin spice to a hot sauce Cause it's fall and because I can 🎵
🎵I added pumpkin spice to a hot sauce And it tasted grand 🎵
🎵Cinnamon and nutmeg, ginger and cloves 🎵
🎵Pumpkin and some garlic, that's a different kind of clove 🎵
🎵Apple cider vinegar, plus a little dash of salt 🎵
🎵Now here come the peppers That's what it's all about 🎵
🎵I added pumpkin spice to a hot sauce And it tasted grand 🎵
Here are the ingredients we'll be using to make this festive fall sauce. We've included
the complete recipe in the video description. These are freshly picked superhot peppers
from our front yard garden, including Carolina Reaper, 7 Pot and Trinidad Scorpion varieties.
We're using a mix of red, yellow and orange peppers to maintain that pumpkin color we're
going for. Frozen peppers work great as well. If you're buying peppers, look for fresh
and firm orange habaneros or ghost peppers, depending on the heat level you prefer.
Now, some of the equipment we'll need. We're using both a food processor and a blender,
but you may have one device that can perform both tasks. Don't forget the mask, goggles
and gloves. The fumes from the peppers can act just like pepper spray. Opening a window
is also not a bad idea.
But before we start slicing peppers, we'll prepare and roast the pumpkin. This is a Sugar
Pie variety. You'll need a pumpkin of about 1 1/2 pounds to produce the 2 cups of cooked
pumpkin we'll need. If you end up with extra, all the better, as roast pumpkin is a delicious
addition to any meal. Wash it thoroughly, slice in half and scrape out the seeds. We
recommend scoring the surface to help absorb the oil. Now, pour a small amount of olive
oil into each half and use your hand to smear it evenly over the surface.
Preheat your oven to 350º F. (about 175º C). Arrange the pumpkin halves cut side down
on a sheet pan. If you'd like, you can use baking parchment to avoid sticking and for
easier cleanup. Then, it's into the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes.
While the pumpkin is roasting, we can start de-stemming and slicing peppers. Cat is demonstrating
the right way to do this, because she's wearing gloves. I'm not so smart, and I'm
going to regret this later. As you can see, I finally realized the error of my ways and
put on the gloves. Better late than never. We're tossing them in the food processor
as we slice.
After slicing is complete, we give the pepper a ride in the Cuisinart until they're full
pureed.
Now, we'll peel and mince four cloves of garlic. Measure 4 tablespoons of olive oil
into a skillet, then add and sauté the garlic.
Time to measure out the pumpkin spices. If you don't want to bother with individual
spices, you can use a premixed pumpkin pie spice blend.
The timer has chimed, and our pumpkin is ready to come out of the oven. It looks so rich
and delicious. This dwarf heirloom variety is sweet and bred specifically for baking.
It's going to make a tasty base for our hot sauce.
While the pumpkin cools, we'll add the spices to the garlic already sautéing in the skillet.
This will really intensify the flavors.
Next, we'll scoop out two cups of pumpkin. Sorry for going on about this, but it's
the most delicious pumpkin I've ever tasted.
Time to add the pumpkin to the garlic and spices. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat
and simmer for about 5 minutes.
Now we'll mix our pumpkin/garlic/spice mixture together with the peppers in the blender.
Our blender jar is not large enough, so we'll need to do this in two batches.
We'll add a cup of apple cider vinegar, then fire up the blender.
We thought the consistency was a little thick, so we added another half cup of vinegar and
blended a little longer. Now it's just the right thickness.
Meanwhile, we've been sterilizing the bottles in boiling water.
Having completed our second batch of blending, we'll simmer our sauce for about 10-12 minutes
to blend the flavors. Keep the heat pretty low, as we're not trying to cook the peppers.
Finally, time for bottling. After our last hot sauce video, we got several tips on faster
and more efficient ways to bottle. But we don't do this on a commercial scale, so
for now we're sticking to our tried and true method of using a glass baster. Used
to use a funnel, but got tired of accidentally knocking over bottles while filling.
Cat and I took turns, and the bottling was finished in no time. We had a yield of 10
5 oz. bottles using this recipe.
This container shape is called a woozy bottle, and we bought a box of 2 dozen on Amazon at
a very reasonable price, and they come with caps, flow restrictors (which we didn't
use for this sauce) and shrink bands.
The shrink bands give your sauce a professional look, and they're very easy to apply with
a little practice. Just place them on the neck and heat with a hair dryer while rotating
the bottle.
We usually print out our labels on plain paper, cut them out with an X-acto knife, and attach
with a glue stick. This time, we decided to try these die cut adhesive labels. The Amazon seller
supplied a PDF template we used to design them at the right size and get the spacing
just right for printing. They're so much easier to apply.
Finally all done. 10 shrink-banded, labeled bottles of homemade, delicious Pumpkin Spice
Hot Sauce. I'll taste it in just a moment, but I first to want to sing a little bit more,
while you enjoy some of the additional footage we shot when visiting Peter and Carmen's farm.
🎵I added pumpkin spice to a hot sauce Cause it's fall and because I can 🎵
🎵I added pumpkin spice to a hot sauce And it tasted grand 🎵
🎵And it tasted grand 🎵
That's it for this episode. This is the first time we've ever used pumpkin or pumpkin
spices in a hot sauce, and we're really happy with the result. It's wildly, deliriously
hot. It should be, because there are about 5 superhot peppers in each 5 oz. bottle. But
it will definitely not disappoint those who love pumpkin and pumpkin spice. This sauce
would go great with many foods, and would be perfect to grace your Thanksgiving table.
Today I'm using it as a dip for a grilled cheese sandwich. Wow, this is really a match
made for autumn. The flavors blend beautifully. You get an initial kiss of pumpkin, then a
rush of intense heat, finally mellowed by a warm hug of pumpkin spice. Try it yourself;
I think you'll like it.

How to make Bernstein´s MASS - Challenge - Duration: 2:52.
Let's roll!
Bernstein has always been my hero. Both as a composer
and a conductor. He was really an extraordinary man.
He knew a lot about music, and you can see it in the score.
I put the orchestra together myself.
I have previously worked with all the musicians.
They are players from the Brno Philharmonic
and from the B-Side Band, my big band.
I've been thinking all along who should direct this thing.
Someone, who can do big canvases. Big stages and
intimate scenes at the same time. And I came up with
the Caban brothers because they can turn
simple resources into grandiose results.
Bernstein's Mass is spectacular, so we have to render it spectacularly.
We figured the stage must be big, with the orchestra
and all the performers. Giant screens as well.
Bernstein's original text is complex. It contains a large number
of languages, so to speak. Language is a sound painting.
We know there is something spiritual going on here,
and that's enough. And when the lyrics say something specific,
and sometimes it verges on blasphemy, we translate it because it is
important for the experience. We are not interested in the world
that exists in the church. This is a very real
and contemporary life.
The score is one of the most complex I've ever conducted.
We would be hard pressed to find a work that is
so all-encompassing in terms of styles.
It is very technically demanding, and of course expensive.
The birth of such a performance is always unique.
Fortunately, Vojta Dyk and Josef Buchta
as producers and cooperation with partners
made this possible. Without Ceska sporitelna,
which is one of the key partners, we would not have been able to stage it.
I love working with these people, all of them. All musicians
and singers, and especially Vojta Dyk, whose performance
is rather unique and unparalleled. So everything has been
working beautifully. I am very happy to be part of this.

How to make a bong in 10 minutes (easy way) - Duration: 6:37.
Hello everyone!
Today
I'll be showing you how to make a bong easy way.
First of all,
Get a 1 liter coke or ice tea bottle
an Ice tea bottle will be better because of the larger mouth hole
but I made it with a coke bottle
cause I didn't have ice tea
Take that empty bottle and heat a scissor or a knife on an oven
or with a lighter
After its hot enough, you put a hole with it
the diameter not being larger than 2-3 milimeters
than the stem that you'll use
Make sure the stem will fit in!
After that, if you can find a bubble gum, use it so
there is no airflow around the pen.
wrap it around the stem (I use a pen) before putting it in.
Like this
And we put our pen in
as you see, our pen is inside the bottle
but right now-
-our pens end is not in the water
you should tape it to the bottle but as I didn't have a tape
I used a cable for it
As you see, now our pens end is in the water.
I should make it tighter,
For the bowl, we are going to take a metal scrap
This is the one I used with friends before
They used it for weeks or maybe months
so its now really old and needs to change
I made a new one for this video
And I'll tell you how to do it.
Buy a coke (it should be a tin can) drink it,
and then melt the paint
soo that you don't inhale carcinogens
After that, scratch the remainings with a coin
I used it one time before the video
Now roll it into a bowl
its ready to use
as you see
The hole under it should be small
so that your herb doesnt fall into water
Attach the bowl to the stem
it's all ready
Now I'll demonstrate a hit
Put a little tobacco bed
and put your herb on it, this way you will not waste a bit.
The carb hole I put before on the back of the bottle is quite important
To make it a smoother hit and easier to inhale
Dont forget to cover it
with your finger before smoking
now I'll burn the stuff
It didn't work :D
because I didn't put a decent amount of tobacco appearently
Push the herb down with a cigarette
I hope you liked my video
Please take 2 seconds of your time and give it the thumbs up
I'll be really happy if you subscribe to my channel, have a good day, cheers!

Jose Mourinho's side have now lost three of their opening seven games of the Premier League season
As well as difficulties on the pitch, there has also been plenty of them off it, with Mourinho's strained relationship with star midfielder Paul Pogba once again hitting the headlines this week
And Ferdinand says executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward must act now. "I think there are some big decisions to be made at Manchester United now," he said on BT Sport
"I think from the hierarchy, from the people who run the club, the likes of Ed Woodward, I'm sure there are going to be conversations at that level about where they go from here
"At the moment there doesn't seem to be that togetherness within that changing room
"The manager, the squad, how they're going to take this club forward. There has to be improvements
" Ferdinand reaffirmed his view later in the programme, saying the United players may be completely against Mourinho
"I believe that the powers that be at this football club have a decision to make," he continued
"I think you can't let a situation like this just continue through the season. "Things leaking out in the press, little wars going on in the changing rooms that's creeping out and everyone's finding out about it
"Players maybe on one side of the dressing room and Mourinho and his staff on the other
"It can't be like that. If that continues, it will be one of the worst seasons in the history of the club
"So someone's got to make a decision right now, bang - this is what happens. "It's either someone goes, something has got to give
"
