How To Make Your Kid Want To Go Outside - Duration: 2:23.
Hello, everyone. Your child doesn't want to go outside while you have a doctor's appointment
or need to go to kindergarten.
He's still refusing to obey and that's it.
Sounds familiar, isn't it?
Treasure hunt! Our family's version of this game will help you to deal with this problem.
Rules are simple: a child is given clues and his task is to find hidden treasure
following these clues. For this game you need two smartphones: for you and for your child.
Usually the day before the game I go all the way and take photos of noticeable objects
like buildings, benches, trees, banners and other objects that your child can see in his everyday life.
The first photo contains a small part of the object, the second one the whole object.
We'll need about ten such sets.
Well, everything is ready and the game starts. Send your child the first photo with a part of the object.
His task is to find it, take a picture of the whole object and send it to you. If it is correct
you send him the next one. If not, you send him the photo of the whole.
So step by step your child gets to the place where you hid the treasure: a toy, a book or sweets, for example.
Hooray! She has done it. That walk was fun!
I love this game or better to say quest for its flexibility.
We played it when my daughter was four and play it now when she is seven. We play it both at home and
outdoors. I'm sure it's possible to adapt this game for the 2-3 year olds also.
For example, use less photos or show the picture of the whole object.
By the way, you can play with several kids. For example, at a birthday party like a competition.
The game needs some preparation, so you can't play it any time.
It's the only con, I think.
So I gave it 9 out of 10!

DIY How to make ribbon gladiolus (ENG Subtitles) - Speed up #526 - Duration: 5:26.
Hi. Today I will show you how to make gladiolus out of ribbon.
I made it by request from my viewers.
Detailed list of all needed items is in the description of this video.
Cut 6 strips out of 50mm ribbon. They should be as long as a template.
Cut a shape of petal.
Burn the edges...
...and twist them a little.
Fold the petal in half and warm the edge.
1 flower = 6 petals.
Cut 2 strips out of 38mm ribbon. They should be about 4cm long.
Fold them in a half and cut a shape of small leaf.
Burn their edges.
Cut 4 strips out of 38mm ribbon. They should be about 15cm long.
Fold a strip in a half,..
...cut off a corner,..
...burn the edge...
...and press it (to glue the ribbon).
Fold the sides to the middle,..
...burn the bottom edge...
...and press it.
We need 4 leaves.
Now, glue 3 petals together to make a calyx.
Make the second one.
Glue both calyxes together.
Glue a few artificial stamens inside the flower.
Glue 2 small leaves under the calyx.
We need about 8-10 flowers.
Next, glue 3 petals together.
Apply a glue on them and roll them up to make a shape of flower bud.
Add the leaves.
We need 3 flower buds.
Wrap an end of floral wire by using floral tape,..
...add first flower bud...
...and 2 more.
Now, add the flowers.
Attach the leaves a few centimeters under the last flower.
Finally, improve a position of flowers.
And it's done.
This gladiolus looks almost the same as real one and can be an all year decoration.
Of course you can make it out of your favorite color of ribbon.

HOW TO MAKE A MANGA PART 3 [Inking the Pages! Digital or Traditional?] - Duration: 12:20.
In the previous video I went into all the details about how you can draft your manga two pages in today's video
I'm going to be talking about different kinds of manga inking techniques
I'm
Also going to be showing you the process of how I earn my manga pages in paint tool Sai if you're new to my channel
Hello welcome. My name is Midnight cross
I am currently in the process of making a single volume manga titled having faith
And I'm also in the process of making a manga series that I've been working on since I was about 13
called reflections through time the Manga page that I'm going to be inking in today's video is going to be an example page from my
project having faith in
this scene
Willow
The main character from my manga project having faith has just been adopted from an orphanage and is being taken to her new home
The page that I am inking in this video does not make sense on its own
but in this scene, it is a necessary page, which is why I wanted to show the full scene for
clarification
After I scan the page and upload it to my computer. The next phase is the inking phase
There are a couple of different ways that you can choose to ink your manga you can ink it all by hand all
digitally
or you can try a little bit of both techniques the tools that I use when I ink manga by hand are
outline 300 pens with small millimeter nibs big fine point pens and markers
For large surfaces and also loved Sharpie markers
Wideout is also really really important if you want to get rid of mistakes, or if you want to add highlights to your page
Some manga artists prefer to use actual nib and pens which is fine
But they do take a lot more control and caution
If you do decide to use that
To ink your manga so it is not something I recommend if you are still a beginner to inking manga pages
I recommend trying something that you have a lot more control over
You can also add screen turns by hand with screen turn pages
This is the most common way manga artists create manga pages in Japan
You can just by screen turn pages online on sites like eBay or other artists websites
I have never used screen turn sheets myself
So I don't understand the pros and cons of using them
but it is definitely something that worth considering before you get to work on your manga pages and
Just try a lot of different techniques to see what works for you
After trial and error, I decided to ink my manga pages digitally and this is for a number of reasons. It was a lot more
practical and efficient for me to ink manga pages on computer rather than trying to set up my desk and tools
to ink manga pages by hand
It took me much less time and it was also a lot easier to correct mistakes
And add darker tones where I wanted to whereas by hands
It would take me a lot longer to make it certain areas darker or to correct mistakes if I did make an inking mistake
I also found that when I ink the manga page and standard
the skin did not turn out at the same level of quality as the traditional pages looked like that's probably just the Falls of
My scanner because it is quite an old scanner
But it was still a problem and I really wanted to keep the quality in the image
Through for the whole page not let it lose. Its quality the moment it gets scanned onto the computer
another reason why I did prefer inking the pages digitally rather than traditionally it was that on the computer I could zoom
Right into the page and get all of all of the little details
Whereas if I did it by hands, I could lose some of those details if I did not use a fine enough pen
There are pros and cons to inking your hand digitally all by hand
But what I recommend is you try a couple of different methods yourself and just see what works for you
it
Is really important to just try a couple of different techniques
Just before you decide on a set style for your manga because that's going to be the style for your whole manga
So you really want to make sure it is a style then you can draw and efficiently and a style that you really enjoy
For my manga pages I use paint tool Sai. I
Use it because it is a program familiar to me and I have used it for many many years
So I have a lot of practice in and I just understand the program really really. Well, I
Opened my draft page in paint tool Sai and then I lower the opacity of the page to about 20%
It depends on how dark the pages and how dark the scan is, but that's usually about the amount
I put it and I can always change that if it doesn't quite show up
Next I open a line work layer and I ink the outside borders for the panels
Then if necessary are open another line work layer and I ink the straight lines and edges in the scene
like lines for furniture or lines in the backgrounds
basically, I just inked the stuff that I can't draw by hand neatly and
The things that need a really straight or really nice curved edge. I
Used the curve tool for lines like this
even the straight lines
because I could just hit the Escape key when I am finished and I find it a lot easier to use and then the
Straight line tool for some reason just the curve tool means I have a lot more freedom to make the line
Look how I want them to
Once I have fully inked all the straight edges in the picture
I open up a plain layer and I use the pen tool
Make sure the density is on 100 before starting because sometimes it does lower for some reason. I don't know why
But just make sure it's on 100 and make the color solid black. I
Then carefully ink all the lines in the picture
If I come to any areas that need adjustment I carefully adjust and change the lines before moving on
This is my least favorite part of the inking phase just because it takes a lot of patience for me
There are a lot of times where I need to undo and fix the lines and just redo the lines
But after it's finished, it is really satisfying to see the fully lined page
So once I have finished inking all the lines
I then turn off the underneath sketch layer and I check the line art for any spaces or things. I did not Inc
Once I have finished checking the page, I open a layer underneath all the line art layers, and this is my solid black layer. I
Use the magic wand tool to select all the areas that I will color solid black
It is really important at least to me to have solid black areas because it adds depth to your pages
It makes certain areas stand out and it also adds a certain atmosphere to areas
I use solid black for dark shadows dark clothing and other areas
For smaller areas, I use the Select pen after I have darkened all the areas
I want to I add another layer underneath the black layer for screen timings. I
Add the screen turn through the textures drop-down box. I set the opacity to 100 and the size to 50%
Paint hillside comes with several screen turns, but you can also install screen turns
I've had this program for so long that I unfortunately can't remember where I got these turns
I may have made them myself at some point, but you can find many paint tool Sai
And patterns on websites like Debian art for free download
If you plan on publishing your manga at the end check to see if it is okay for commercial use first
Then I choose a light gray color
With the screen turn texture on and I use the magic wand tool to select all areas where I will use this shade
I then use the bucket tool or a really large color brush to quickly fill in all those areas
Then I choose a darker gray color and I do the same process. I leave certain areas white for lighter areas
I will come back to look at those a bit more later. I
Then open another layer above the black area
For blond hair I use light brush strokes to ink it you can also use a light green screen tone if you prefer
But I really do like the light brush stroke technique
I think it makes it look a lot more natural and it gives it that little tradition of touch as well
it takes a lot of time to incre and a lot of patience but is actually one of my favorite parts of
The inking process and I really like how the final result looks
for the rest of the page
I use a Krotz cross hatching type of pen technique and little lines to add texture and extra shading to the page. I
Use this for wood textures as well and it just creates a really nice effect and it helps the whole page to look more interesting
Now that I have finished doing the basic inking I go over the page and look for areas
I
could add some extra shading to I usually make an extra layer for this and add screen turns over those areas in
A gradient style. So I just blur it out with the water blur tool if
The page needs a little extra
I sometimes make another layer over the page
Put the thing to multiply and add a light gray gradient screen turn over the whole page or in certain darker areas
the final stage of my inking which I don't always do but it does help of some pages is I add white tones or
little white
highlighted areas to make the page pop I
Open the layer above all the others and I use the color pen
I make the color white and then I add white spots to areas of the page. I
Do this with fire and sometimes with the lights on how and shiny areas things that need a little extra shine
Now the inking for this page is complete
I save the side file, but I also save a JPEG file to a file titled inked pages
Sometimes this is all the page needs, but when a page has extra dialogue or sound effects, I need to open it in paint.net
Paint under is great for editing pages like this for my dialogue. I use Lafayette. Comic Pro font
I like this font because it is a free license font
Make sure when using a font that it is okay for commercial use
use a font that suits the style of your manga or comic I
Open a layer above the drawing on paint.net and type the dialogue using the text tool and move the text to fit the speech bubbles
once I have finished writing the dialogue, I open another layer below it and with smaller writing I write sound effects if any I
use the selection tool to make them smaller or put them on a slight angle around the characters and
Now the page is completely finished and I save it
So that is my process for inking pages and I hope the tips and tricks I gave you in today's video
Helps you decide the way that you want to incur mega pages, wherever it be digitally by hand or a mix of both
Let me know in the comments below. How you
Incur mein the pages because I'd love to know it and I'd love to hear about your projects
Thank you so much for watching my video today everyone
I really really hope it helped you in the final part of this video series
I'm going to be talking about how you can publish your me
I'm going to be talking about the pros and cons of publishing it self publishing it and
Publishing it as a webcomic

George Soros's Link To This Plot To Take Out Trump Will Make Your Blood Boil - Duration: 3:25.
Donald Trump faced enemies within the government from day one.
They plotted in the shadows to end his Presidency.
But George Soros's link to this plot to take out Trump will make your blood boil.
George Soros And The Deep State George Soros and the Deep State have something
in common.
They both want to destroy Donald Trump.
But it's even worse than you think.
George Soros funds the Deep State.
Soros's spokesman told the Washington Post that he contributed money to the Democracy
Integrity Project.
Daniel Jones formed this group in 2017.
Jones is a former Intelligence Committee staffer for Dianne Feinstein.
His group hired Fusion GPS to continue their investigation into Trump and Russia after
the 2016 election.
The House Intelligence Committee reported Jones told the FBI that a group of wealthy
donors funded his group to the tune of 50 million dollars.
"In late March 2017, Jones met with FBI regarding PQG, which he described as 'exposing
foreign influence in Western election,'" the Intelligence Committee wrote.
"[Redacted] told FBI that PQG was being funded by 7 to 10 wealthy donors located primarily
in New York and California, who provided approximately $50 million."
"[Redacted] further stated that PQG had secured the services of Steele, his associate
[redacted], and Fusion GPS to continue exposing Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. Presidential
election," reads the report, which adds that Jones "planned to share the information
he obtained with policymakers…and with the press."
Soros' Funding Helps Fusion GPS Jones's group took Soros' money to continue
to spread fake news about Trump and Russia.
Fusion GPS fed two stories to McClatchy that kept the collusion narrative alive.
McClatchy reported that Robert Mueller had evidence Michael Cohen traveled to Prague
in August or September 2016.
The Christopher Steele dossier claimed Cohen traveled to Prague to meet with Russian intelligence.
Steele claimed they hatched a plot to exploit hacked Democrat emails.
Cohen strongly denied this story when it was first reported in 2016.
He said he was visiting a college in California with his son at the time.
Cohen denied the story again last spring.
He provided social media postings that proved he was in California and not in Prague.
Fusion GPS also used Soros' money to spread fake news about the NRA.
McClatchy ran a story claiming NRA lawyer Cleta Mitchell – who is a heavyweight lawyer
in the conservative movement – was concerned about Russian money coming into the group.
Fusion pushed the theory for months that the Russians funneled tens of millions of dollars
into the election through the NRA.
But it was all fake news.
Mitchell denied the story.
She also stated she was not an NRA lawyer during the election.
George Soros' fingerprints are all over the Deep State coup.
He funneled money into a shady group spreading fake news all over the media to try and take
down Donald Trump.
No one will be surprised if further investigations uncover even greater Soros involvement in
this conspiracy.
We will keep you up to date on any new developments in this ongoing story.

How To Make More Money - Make Money With 1 Simple Rule - Duration: 5:45.
if you want to learn how to make more money in your business and your job or
in your hobby whatever you're doing stay tuned to the end of this video because
I'm gonna give you the one irrefutable law that you need to know about making
more money and how you can change your life in doing so and that's coming up
right now what's going on guys my name is Gabe Ekemezie I'm your internet
marketing guide and welcome to my channel on my channel I talk everything
entrepreneurship and I help people build their business and brand online so that
you can live the life that you deserve so this is your first time stopping by
feel free to subscribe to my channel and in this video we're talking about how do
you make more money okay I'm gonna dive right into it because it's a really
simple concept way that you make more money and whatever industry you're in is
by bringing more value to the marketplace you would get paid based off
of the value you are bringing to the marketplace so what does that all mean
so a man by the nerve Jim Rome actually was the one that brought this and if you
don't know who Jim Rohn is looking he's an extraordinary speaker and a wonderful
mentor why does some people get paid $9 an hour and some people get paid in 90
dollars or even 900 dollars and our reason is because that McDonald's worker
and respect McDonald's workers they're getting paid in $9 an hour because
they're bringing only nine dollars worth of value into the marketplace for an
hour now if you want you could storm into your boss's office and demand a
raise regardless that's not gonna be a huge change in your income at least it's
not gonna be life changing income you get paid more by increasing your value
and I can illustrate this by Jim Rohn story Jim Rohn way back in the day he
was 25 years old broke he was newly married creditors are calling him and
one day he actually had to lie to a girl scout saying that he had already bought
some cookies earlier which he didn't just to get the girls got to leave
because he didn't have enough money to afford the cookies and at that point in
time something really happened to him and he changed and he was like you know
it this is bull I don't want to be doing this anymore in five years he turned it
around made its first million dollars and years later he gets a call from a
company that requests his help to expand globally this call ends up being worth
millions of dollars so question you gotta ask yourself is how does a guy go
from broke 25 year old barely can afford a girl
scout cookies let alone his bills to getting calls worth millions of dollars
the answer is he increased his value he became more valuable in the marketplace
so here a couple tips to help you actually increase your value tip number
one is you want to learn on improving yourself if you work harder on yourself
versus your job you will increase your value and you will get paid more
accordingly those last time you read a book or bought up courts or visited a
seminar tended a mastermind in order to either learn a new skill or to develop a
skill that you already have and if your answer is I don't know that's ok hey you
know but you got to think about this if you're not investing in yourself and
developing your skills you're staying on the same Lane and you're getting paid
the same way because you're not increasing your value so focus on
improving yourself the next thing you want to focus on is results or our
results are the name of the game and the reason why you want to focus on results
is because what doesn't get measured doesn't get managed so if you're a
salesperson and you're supposed to make 10 sales calls a week and the end of the
week comes and you only made to look at the numbers your results don't lie all
right the truth will set you free and that truth is you're messing up you need
to change your ways change your habits and start making ten calls a week so
that you can start getting the results that you want in life or ask to make
measurable progress within a reasonable amount of time you want to use results
as your ruler as your measuring stick to see where you are and to see where
you're going and to kind of gauge between them because your results are
gonna help you gauge what you need to change and help you develop the right
habits that you need and continue to increase your value in a positive manner
last but not least you want to focus on mastery versus multitasking and now a
lot of people don't make progress because they're just trying to do too
much they're just trying to juggle too many things at one time nobody said you
can't do more than one thing but if you're just getting started and you
haven't mastered something for it master that one thing for it so the reason
being when you master something for it your value increases significantly like
the saying goes I don't fear the man that knows 10,000 cakes
I fear the man that knows one cake and has practiced it 10,000 times
anybody that's professional in this that's making a good amount of money has
mastered a sign crap think about LeBron James he's messed the craft of
basketball or Elon Musk who's mastered the craft of entrepreneurship and
building businesses find a problem find something in the marketplace master of
craft where you fill a need and you solve problems when you do that you are
gonna get paid accordingly and your income is going to grow and that's it
guys that's how you get paid more that's how you increase your income it's by
increasing your value you get paid by the value you bring to the marketplace
and the way that you bring value into the marketplace is by first increasing
the value of you you gotta learn to work harder on yourself versus work harder on
a job or work harder and any other things by using results as our guide by
building the right habits and by focusing on mastery versus multi-tasking
to help us continue building our value up and if we build our value of the
marketplace we'll pay accordingly I promise you that so that's it guys I
hope this video was helpful for you if you haven't subscribed to my channel yet
go ahead and do so and also leave a comment down below with any of your
thoughts once again my name is Gabe Ekemezie thank you all for tuning in and
I will catch you guys on another video

what I'm about to tell you, so hang tight.
(upbeat music)

that people completely disregard.
In order to make a living doing what you love
you need a product or service.
Now, don't click off this video and say,
"Lisa, that's rubbish advice. I knew that."
I want to ask you do you have a product or service
you can sell?
Let's say I find you on Facebook or Instagram
or a see a quote you've shared or I meet you
at an event or a night out and I said, "Wow, I love
"what you're doing, that's exactly what I need.
"What can I buy from you?
"How do I become a customer?
"How do I become a client?"
Do you have a finished product or service that you can sell?
This is the simplest, most important piece of advice
that I even give to 10,000 pound coaching clients.
Sometimes I work with people and they say,
"I'm just not making the sales.
"I'm just not making the money I want to make."
And, I'm like great, "Show me your program."
And, they're like, "Oh, okay well I've kind of got
"this thing going on over here.
"And, I'm refilming this at the minute.
"And, my website is being rebuilt.
"And, I think I've got a Paypal button there."
And I say, "Stop, there's no way you can make a living
"doing what you love before you've finished
"your product or service."
And, this is the second thing I want to tell you
about making a living doing what you love.
It does not need to be perfect.
So many people I meet at events, out and about,
through the online course they want to make a living
doing what they love, but they're waiting.
They're waiting for the better camera equipment.
They're waiting until they've lost weight,
some people tell me that.
They're waiting till they've got more money.
Life and conditions will never be perfect for you
to get what you want.
The key to making a living doing what you love,
second point here, write this one down,
is to put out your first version.
Now, excuse my language there, but you're going to
remember that you've got to put out your first version
because your first version is going to be 10,000 times better
than any version up in people's heads.
Honestly, it doesn't matter what
that first version looks like.
It's not about making thousands the first time.
It's not about quitting your job the first time
you launch a product or service.
It's about becoming the person who can build something
that other people want to buy, or want access to,
or want to join.
So what if you put out your first online course
and you only make five sales.
So what if you put on an event and three people turn up
so you have to invite your mom, your sister,
and her boyfriend to fill out the numbers.
So what, all of the people online who you see
who are making a living doing what they love
once they've been on their journey and they've made it
they will start telling you the truth of how they got there.
Hopefully, what's different about me is I'm tell you
the truth of how I got there whilst I'm on the journey
because I want to share the truth about what it takes.
So, you need a product or service.
It needs to be the first possible version you can put out.
I'm not saying do a job that be okay
and take people's money.
It's not about that.
It's about getting something finished because
you can't make it better until you build something.
So, we're going to talk a bit about that in this video.
How do you get your first product or service together?
How do you get it online?
And, how do you win your first customer so that
you can ultimately scale up and make a living
doing what you love?
(upbeat music)
So, where do you begin?
Well, go back to purpose.
Do you remember in the beginning you were asking,
"What is my purpose? What am I here to do?
"What do I want to change in the world?"
The next question to ask is, "What can I do to make
"a living doing what I love?"
And again, as obvious as that question sounds
have you ever asked yourself the question,
"What can I do to make a living doing what I love?"
And, the answer might come in the form of run an event
and charge 25 pounds for a ticket, build an online course
and upload videos to YouTube and charge 100 pounds
for people to access the videos.
Be creative and the best way to do it is to come
to somewhere like this, this is Ziferblat in Media City,
which I love.
Such cool creative space.
There's so many places to sit and work and get inspired.
Get a big piece of paper on the table and ask,
"What are all the things I can teach people that I enjoy?
"What are all the things I've learned linked to my purpose
"that I can share with people that will help them
"change their lives and whatever it is you're here
"to do in the world?"
So, if I go back to the very beginning for me,
three years ago, I first started asking,
"What can I do to make a living doing what I love?"
And, that is such a different question to
how can I make money.
I could make money in recruitment.
I could make money doing graphic design, building websites.
I could make money in lots of ways.
But, that's never going to make me happy.
What will make you really happy in life and help
bring you into alignment is if you can find a way
to make a living doing what you love.
But, the answer doesn't always come straight away.
You've got to put in the work.
So, what I do is I got a big piece of paper
and thought about, "Well, what have I learned
"on this journey?
"What do I know that I can teach people?"
And, my purpose at the time as I understood it
in the beginning was to empower people.
It was to give them space to be themselves.
And, you can probably see how that's evolved
in Dare to Grow if you've been following this
wider program, this wider movement for a long time.
It's empowering people to explore themselves,
to follow their purpose, follow their passion,
and do what lights them up in the world.
So, I thought, "I can teach people how to uncover
"their purpose 'cause I've done that.
"I could teach people how to change their lives
"because I'm on that journey, I'm getting over depression,
"I'm paying off debt."
I was doing the work I could teach that to people.
And, I knew about the power of vision.
I was learning about the law of attraction.
And, of course, I knew about business
and I knew about marketing.
But, I have to tell you what I've learned about
business and marketing in the last two and a half years
(vocalizes explosion) blows my mind.
It's a world apart from what I was teaching
in the beginning, but that's why the course
has gone up in price, that's why the value's
increased so much.
And, that's why I am where I am because every time
I learn something new I film it, I put it in the course
and I give it to people who've already joined.
So, one of my USPs is when you join the course
you get access to all of the online programs I make.
So, I recently filmed a program on how to vlog,
chucked it in the online course.
Even the people who joined right in the beginning
now get access to that program because that was commitment,
that's my promise.
Join, and when I film something new you're going to get
access to that course.
So, things get better and better over time.
But, I want to tell you this, in the beginning
when I first filmed the online course what it was
was six videos filmed on my iPhone 6.
I had this iPhone 6 and I had this HandyCam
that my mom and dad had got me for Christmas
which I loved.
Nothing like the cameras I've got now.
I think this was about 100 and odd quid,
but wow it had a tripod.
There was a camera. It felt a bit legit.
So, I filmed on that and my iPhone 6 and mapped out
with a piece of paper all these different titles,
all these things I could teach people.
And, I started getting Post-it Notes
and writing ideas down.
And then, I'd move that post it not, group those
themes together, take that one off and put it in the bin.
And, over a few days, over a weekend I realized
I'd mapped out this course.
And the headings were things like, How to Uncover
Your Purpose, How to Change Your Life, The Effect of Vision,
or the Importance of Selling a Compelling Vision
in Your Life, the Compounding Effect.
So, I taught people very specific things.
And, what I did is I said to Alice, "I'm filming today."
We cleared a space in the flat in Manchester,
which is literally 15 minutes from where I'm sat now.
And then, we set a scene so I got a nice chair,
cleared the background.
Sometimes I filmed in front of bookshelves and I picked
the books I wanted on the shelf that represented me,
that told the story, that helped give me credibility,
that I guess people watching would think,
"I've read those books," or "I've heard of those books"
and we'd connect on that.
So you can set the scene when you're filming
or putting on an event or taking a photograph.
Give clues to people as to what you're up to.
And, if you see my Instagram stories or my Instagram feed
at Dare to Grow Uk, if you're not following,
you'll see that I quite often take a picture
of me with a laptop and coffee and a camera
'cause I'm saying to people, "I vlog, I make videos,
"I make content."
And, loads of people who follow me have gone on
to make their own vlogs and join me in the vlogging course.
It's so cool.
So, express yourself on the journey.
So, I literally stood there, phone in a tripod,
this Handycam in a tripod and I filmed these six
videos in the space of a week.
I literally stood there night after night after night
filmed these six videos.
And, what I did is I uploaded them to YouTube.
So, they didn't have any fancy systems.
I couldn't afford any online course platform software.
I was so broke I couldn't afford anything,
but I already had the iPhone and I already had wifi.
But, I want you to ask yourself with all of those things
that are ahead of you, everything you've got to achieve,
everything you've got your heart and mind set on
just take a moment and list down all of the reasons
why you think you might not be able to hit that goal.
And, I know I'm a very positive person and people say
to me all the time, if they something negative, they say,
"Oh, I'm not being negative Lisa."
So, I think people have an allergy to be negative
around me so I'm giving you permission in this one instant
to write down and admit and face all of the things
that you think could be holding you back and stopping you
from hitting that vision.
So, I filmed each video, edited it, uploaded it
to YouTube and instead of hitting publish so that
it was public I put it as unlisted meaning only people
with the link could see it.
And then, this was the fun bit, doing what I'd learned
about Facebook marketing I promoted the course on Facebook
and I spent about 100 pounds on Facebook ads.
And, six people joined the course at 39 pounds.
That's how much it was in the beginning.
I was so happy I couldn't believe it.
I was so excited but I was also terrified that
I'd made this promise to people that I could help you
change your life and now I had to deliver on it.
So, those fears everybody has them in the beginning.
You're doing something you've never done before.
You're making something up.
Like, this course that I've built is made up.
It's all my experiences, my learning,
my teaching, my stories.
There's no mentor I can go to.
There's no teacher, no manager who's going to edit
my work and give me feedback.
The customers will give you the feedback.
The sales will be the feedback.
So, be prepared to go on that journey.
So, when people joined up I literally emailed them
with the link on YouTube and said "this is your 20 minutes
"prep video, watch the video."
And then, I added them all to a Facebook group
only like six people in the beginning, plus me and Alice
to bulk it up, that was eight.
And probably my mom was in there, I don't know.
So, I got these people in a Facebook group.
I said, "Watch the prep video, answer the questions
"in the worksheet."
Which, I literally made on PowerPoint attached it
as a PDF to the email and sent it to everybody individually.
And then, on Sunday eight o'clock, I was so nervous,
I went live on Facebook.
In fact, thinking about it is an emotional memory for me
because that was the first time I really stepped out
other than doing the live events, that was the first time
I was stepping out and building what is now Dare to Grow.
Dare to Grow, the online course.
And, the people I've met on this journey because
I dared two years ago to sit down with a iPhone 6
and a Handycam and film those first six videos.
So, I got everyone to join the live.
I did the live, I was so nervous but it went really well.
At the end of the course once it was finished
I got feedback.
"What can I do better? What did you love about it?
"What didn't you love about it? What can I change?"
And, I launched it again.
And, in the beginning I launched it rapidly every six weeks.
As soon as it had finished I gave myself a couple
of weeks to recover, make some improvements,
launched it again, again a few weeks to recover,
make improvements, and launch it again.
So, over the course of a year the online course
went from version one to version five.
And, the improvement was dramatic and profound.
So, guess what, as I added more value, as I got more
confident, as I got more customers, as my budget
increased for spend, as I added more videos,
more content, more ideas I started to put the price up.
From 39 pounds to 100 pounds, 100 pounds to 200 pounds.
Then, I did a massive jump from 200 pounds to 500 pounds.
And, I jumped again up to 1000 and the course
is now 1,290 pounds to join because it is epic.
It includes a 100 page workbook.
There's 50 training videos.
I'm adding new courses all the time.
Anyone who joins gets lifetime access.
And, each time I do it I'm refilming content.
I just added a course on how to vlog.
That goes in there as well.
There's a two day live event which is going to be here
in Ziferblat in Manchester in Media City.
So, all of that value means I can put the price up.
Plus, I found that as I increased the price the people
who came through the course were so committed,
they were so focused on what they wanted,
they were so engaged in the community.
And, anybody who's in Dare to Grow the online course now
might comment below in these videos, the energy in
the group in this last cohort was off the charts
because people were investing over 1,000 pounds
of their own money, energy, time to uncover their purpose,
change their life, and make a living doing what they love.
So, in this part of the video I just wanted to stress
that you've got to just put out your first version.
It doesn't matter how good or bad it is,
it's about becoming the person who can create something
start to finish and do the best you can
with what you've got.
Don't wait for better equipment.
Don't wait for better weather.
Don't wait till you've lost the weight or whatever it is.
Just do it.
Do the first version and focus, be relentless about
pushing it out, making it better,
pushing it out, making it better.
And, over time one year, two years, three years
you'll look back and you'll be so grateful to the person
who started right here, right now.
(upbeat music)
Can I tell you one more thing before we move onto marketing?
And, I want to share with you a really important model
that I learned for actually marketing a business,
marketing in this new world of social media
what I share with you is going to blow your mind.
But first, I just want to tell you this.
This is one of the biggest things that stops people.
People don't ask people who've done it for advice
and guidance and support.
People go to family and friends who are in jobs
who have never left, never done anything new,
who've been in the same job for five years, 10 years,
who are unhappy with their lives.
They ask them, "What do you think?
"Should I quit my job? Should I launch this program?
"Should I do this video online?"
And, they'll say to you, "No, no, no don't do it.
"It's too risky. You're crazy. You're mad."
What they're doing though is they're not revealing
what they think is possible for you.
They're revealing what they think is possible for them.
So, do not go to people who are not living their dream life,
who've never tried it.
And, ask for advice, it's like going to the couch potato
and asking for advice on how to get fit and healthy.
You wouldn't do it.
So, don't do it in business.
Get around like minded people like the Dare to Grow
community, even the free, open Dare to Grow Facebook page
and the vlogs and the comments and the people
who follow on Instagram.
Get around like minded people who are trying.
Get around people who've done it.
Read and consume and learn and take in as much as you can
from people who've done it.
And, if somebody's giving you advice in your life
and they're not in the arena fighting with you
you have not interest or use for their advice
because they don't know.
So, you're ready, you now enough to get your
first version out there.
You can improve as you go.
You can learn new skills as you go.
The important thing is that you become the person
who has a product or service who can launch it.
Now, on that note I want to teach you a model for marketing
that is going to blow your mind.
(upbeat music)
Okay, welcome back to the studio.
Now, for this final part of the video, this final part
of the training course I'm going to show you that model
I mentioned all the way back in the video
I told you about my story.
This model changed the game for me.
So, I want to share my variation of it.
And, this is the model that took me from 50 pounds
an hour as a coach to making six figures as a coach,
consultant, whatever you want to call it.
So, let me share this model with you now.
(upbeat music)
I only have an orange pen, but it's fine,
it'll do the trick.
Okay, so it's a triangle.
So imagine this, there's four stages to it.
(upbeat music)
If you've got pen and paper in front of you,
notebooks, I would draw this out because
it's a game changer.
This is what all the pros are doing to make a living
whether it's online, selling out courses,
selling events, coaching one-to-one.
This will even work for product sales, okay.
Just think about how to adapt it for whatever
it is you're doing.
Okay, stage one of the model is introduce, okay?
And, this is about introducing yourself
to new people.
And, the best way to do this is with content.
Because, nobody wants to see a video or a promo
or an ad or a leaflet all about your services
and what you do.
They either want to be entertained, informed, or inspired.
And, if you can do that with your audience
this is what's going to happen.
You're going to connect with new people.
So, to connect with people you either need
something like a mailing list for them
to join up with, something like MailChimp,
dead easy to set up.
There's YouTube videos teaching you how to do it.
You could have a Facebook page, a YouTube channel,
Twitter, Instagram, it doesn't matter.
But, there's got to be a platform, there's got to be
a mechanism for them to say, "Oh, I like that.
"I'm not ready to sign up. I'm not ready to message.
"I'm not ready to comment, but let me like the page
"or let me subscribe or let me follow you on Instagram
"just to see what they're up to."
So, the aim of the game is to introduce yourself
to new networks with content that inspires,
informs, or entertains.
Then, you've got to connect with these people.
And, a little trick I have here, this is a little
private behind the scenes trick, okay?
If I share a vlog and my vlogs are the biggest way
I introduce myself to new people.
And, I've shared that in the second.
So, if I share a vlog and I get, I don't know,
50 likes on a vlog I'll go through the likes
and I'll invite each of those people to like the page
because sometimes people like the vlog.
And, I've had people message me a year later
saying, "Oh my God, I've been looking for you.
"I saw one of your vlogs, I liked it.
"I forgot to like the page.
"I'm so glad I found your video again.
"I'm so glad it turned up in my feed."
So, don't be afraid to say to people when you meet them
face-to-face, this is another little trick we do,
so if we meet people face-to-face I go,
"Oh let's connect on Facebook, let's follow each other
"on Instagram," because you meet somebody you hit it off
like on the beach, walking your dog, at a networking event
if you don't connect there and then you're never
going to connect with these people.
So, introduce yourself through content,
always lead with information, okay, inspiration,
or entertaining somebody with content.
Connect with these people.
Facebook, LinkedIn, mailing list, doesn't matter
as long as there's a mechanism.
Next one is a biggie, okay?
The next one is help.
Help people up front.
Honestly, give away your best content.
Like, I've shared with you now these three videos.
These videos have taken me a long time to think about,
to film, been all over the country capturing scenes.
It was like in between my day job, editing them,
sharing them, boosting them on Facebook.
Like, I wanted to get them in front of people
because I want to help people.
Now, here's the crux of it, okay.
At the end of the day Dare to Grow is a business
but that isn't what drives me.
What drives me is the movement, okay?
If I can help people change their lives,
if somebody comes up to me on the street,
which does happen now, and they say, "Oh my god,
"I watched your video at the most perfect time.
"And, thank you, you helped me get out of bed that day."
I'm like, I'll film more it's all worth it.
So, you've got to go in with a help mentality,
not like this, "I'll help you and then you must
"buy my course."
Uh-uh, doesn't work.
You've got to go with a help mentality of
let me help 1,000 people and if 5% of that audience
said, "You know what, I'd like a little bit more," good.
They're good numbers, okay?
So, go out with a mindset of how can I help people,
how can I be of service, how can I help people
have a transformation?
Because, do you remember the phrase?
People won't remember what you told them,
they'll remember how you made them feel.
If you help people and they go about their journey,
and like with me, for example six months later,
a year later you might be stuck.
You might think, "I want to change my life, I need help.
"Who do I know? Oh, I remember."
So, you want to be front of mind for people.
You want to be helping people.
You want to have given away so much value
that when people need your offering, when they need
what you offer in that space they literally couldn't
think of anybody else they'd want to work with because
they've loved your content.
They already know who you are.
You've done the relationship bit of the work, okay.
I'm going to go into this in more detail and show you
how I'm using it in a second.
The next stage is commit.
I can never remember if that's two Ts or one.
I'm going to take a bet on one, okay?
Spelling is not my forte even though I did do
English at Union, but we'll leave that, okay?
So, the next stage is commit.
Now, once you've helped say 100 people, 500 people,
1,000 people you can invite them to work with you.
So, think of all the time that's gone
into building that relationship.
At the end of a funnel, this is a marketing funnel,
at the end of the funnel you can say, "Hey guys,
"do you know what, I'm running an online course.
"It's 50 videos. There's a live event. There's a workbook.
"If you love this and you want to go to the next level
"why don't you join me for the online course.
"It's only X a month," or "these are all
"the benefits you get."
And, a percentage of that audience will go,
"Do you know what, I can't believe what
"I've learned of her already, I'm going in."
And, that is how you market online and in person.
It works for events as well.
So, here's a few little tricks for you okay?
So, this is what I do.
For me, I made a couple of decision for Dare to Grow
really early on.
The first decision I made was, "I do not want to be
"our selling every day.
"It's not my purpose.
"My purpose is to create an empowered environment
"for people to change their lives.
"I want to change the fricking world.
"I don't just want to make money.
"I need the money to sustain my lifestyle,
"to pay for ads, to reach more people so I can change
"more people's lives.
"That's my purpose, that's my mission."
So, that was the first decision I made.
I decided I'm not going to sell every day.
I'm not going to have an evergreen product,
which is open all the time.
I'm going to have a course and it's going to run
twice a year.
So, you've got to think, like I said at the beginning,
what is my product, what is my offering,
how do people join up, how often is it going to run.
And, if you're doing courses like next year
or events or anything or I don't know discovery course,
book 'em in your diary, like book 'em out
and say, "This is when the course opens, it closes,"
whatever just get the details.
And so, that was the first decision I made.
I don't know why I keep looking at this board,
for the answer it's not on there, it's on here.
The second decision I made was I'm going to vlog
nearly every single day.
And, I'm going to give away so much badass content,
so much good, free content up front that inspires,
informs, and entertains that when people think,
"I want to uncover my purpose. I want to change my life.
"I want to make a living doing what I love."
They literally, it's a no brainer, but to come into
the Dare to Grow community and come onto Dare to Grow,
(vocalizes) the online course.
So, they were my decisions.
So I'm putting the work in up front and the reason
this is so powerful is because with the course only running
twice a year people can look forward to it
and they can start budgeting for it.
And, I know that happens 'cause people
message me and tell me.
The other thing is because it's only open twice a year
I do a big push twice a year and then the rest
of the year I just get to add value, grow my network,
introduce myself to new people.
And, I use the money I make from the course launch
and invest it into Facebook ads, which are amazing,
to reach more people, change more people's lives.
It's amazing, like it just blows my mind.
So, I vlog nearly every single day. Now, get this.
When I upload a vlog I take screenshots of the vlog,
I turn them into graphic for Instagram, hashtag them up.
Sometimes I'll write up the vlog.
If it was a good topic I'll write it up as a blog topic.
And now, I even get subtitles added to the vlogs
because I know about 80% of people don't even
watch videos with the sound on, which is mad
'cause the music in the vlogs makes it.
So, that is a killer process for marketing your product
online, works in person as well.
Be of service, introduce yourself to new people
by adding value up front.
When the time is right ask for a commitment,
ask people to work with you.
Make the offering crystal clear, super good.
And then, because people already know who you are,
because you've already given them transformation,
because you did the work like up front, you said,
"Guys, I'm going to give you everything," so when people
come to decide for a course launch for example,
they shouldn't be going, "Who is she?
"Does she know her stuff?"
They should be asking, "Is this right for me, yes or no?
"Is this the right time for me, yes or no?
"What's the best way for me to afford it?"
That's where you want to get people to because
that is how you're going to change people's lives
and change the fricking world.
So, I hope that helped, three videos on how to
uncover your purpose, change your life, make a living
doing what you love.
If you enjoyed these hang tight because I'm going to
send you one more video telling you all about
Dare to Grow, (vocalizes) the online course.
And then, you can decide is this right for me,
and is it right for me right now.
If you've got any questions or comments I'm real,
I'm filming this in my little home studio in Time Out
in the northeast.
I would love to hear what you thought of these videos.
Thank you so much for tuning in.
Get out there, change your life and change
the fricking world.

Ariana Grande God is a woman make up and hair tutorial sub. English - Duration: 16:48.
Hello everyone! Welcome to this new video! I'm so happy today 'cause I'm gonna be recreating Ariana Grande's make up in God is a woman!❤️
which is one of my favorite songs of hers and the make up she wears is really awesome too! so I'm so happy to recreate it!
I hope you will like this video too. Sorry for my face but I'm without make up now. I only have my make up base on.
I always start with my make up base on 'cause I don't want to waste time and I think y'all already know how to make your own make up base.
I still want you to know which products I used.
I used this cream concealer of Kiko to cover the imperfections, and then I used this Too faced concealer, in the snow color
I recommend it to you so much! It's named "Born this way". It is amazing! It has a very strong coverage and just a drop of this concealer is enough to cover everything!
And then I used my Sephora powder
So now let's start with our tutorial!😊 first of all I want to complete the face make up
In this video Ariana has a very accentuated contouring , so first of all let's do the contouring. I'm using this Loreal bronzer in stick. It's a warm brown, almost chocolate color. Then I'm going to vanish it well with my beauty-blender
so I finished and as you can see I vanished it so well 'cause I don't like a very strong effect.
Now another thing that is very emphasized in the make up is the highlighter, so now we are putting on this Mac highlighter. I love it so much. It is so pigmented. See?
I usually apply this highlighter with a cat's tongue brush, 'cause this way the effect is more precise and marked. Do you use this brush to apply highlighters too? let me know!
Yep I've sullied my hair😂
raising my cheekbones
Now the other side..
Now I'm going to apply the highlighter on my cupid's bow, on my chin and between my eyebrows
and now I'm going to vanish everything with a big brush
In my opinion this highlighter has a wonderful effect! Let me know if you like it too!
I do I have this lock detached from the rest of my hair, lmao?
Let me know if you use this highlighter too and if not I recommend it to you so much!
Now that we're done with the highlighter I'm going to contour my nose, 'cause Ariana always has a strong nose contouring
since it would have been a too unnatural effect is I used the stick bronzer I used before, I decided to use this dust bronzer of Kiko, to contour my nose but in a more natural way
so I'm picking up this brush of Kiko and now I can start to contour my nose
I start from the eyebrow and then I go down following the shape of my nose
I'll show you the effect on this side because on the other there is a weird shade, and now I'm going to vanish well with this brush
Now always with the Mac highlighter and a tiny brush I'm going to highlight my nose, since Ariana's nose is always so highlighted
As you can see I've put on the highlighter and I usually don't use it but since I'm recreating an Ariana's make up I did it, but tbh the effect is not bad!
Now let's vanish a bit even this
Now a trick of Ariana's make ups it's to apply a lighter concealer or powder on the sides of the nose, to make it look smaller
So now I'm applying this Kiko concealer. I'm using the number 2, while my number is the 5th.. to make u understand😂
I'm going to apply the concealer with another beauty blender
Here it's the final result. Let's vanish again. As you can see I don't like a too strong face make up. I like to make up in a strong way my eyes or my lips, but not the face
Now let's move to the eyebrows. Ariana is usual to fill her eyebrows with a pencil bit I'm not gonna do it 'cause my eyebrows are already very full and I seem a monster when I try to fill them more😂
so I'm just going to comb 'em
Perfect, I combed my eyebrows and now that we are done even with them we can start with the make up of the eyes.😊
Ok, so first of all I'm taking this small Kiko palette and I'm taking this color: a light brownish, with a Revlon brush. I'm going to apply it in the first part of my arched eyebrow, like to extend the nose contouring
While in the second part of my arched eyebrow I'm going to apply the same highlighter I used for the face. And I'll show you the make up just on one eye, to lose less time.
now I'm going to take this brownish again, with a Kiko brush and I'm going to create like an eyeliner row in the outer part of the eyelid, with this eyeshadow
Now I'm going to join this sort of eyeliner row with the eyeshadow I applied above
Now I'm taking this Douglas palette, and I'm taking this shimmer brown color, which I'm going to apply on the whole eyelid.
Now I'm taking an another brown color, but darker than the previous one, and with this I'm going to revise the eyeliner row, coming to color the lower rim of the eye
as you can see the make up is taking shape😊. Now I'm taking this Kiko palette, and with this beautiful color I'm going to make a light spot in the inner corner of the eye.
I'm reuniting this color with the shimmer brown I applied on the eyelid.
Now I'm taking this beautiful Kat von die pencil. It's a very beautiful lavender color, and I'm going to create a line above the eyelid, as Ariana has in her video.
Now I'm changing the shooting mode to let you see the eye make up better and more closely.
As you can see I've tracked this line with the Kat von die pencil. This pencil has saved my life 'cause this color is fundamental for this make up.
Now I'm taking this white Pupa pencil and I'm gonna color my inner rhyme of the eye
Perfect, I've colored my inner rhyme of the eye. This step can help you so much if your eyes are a bit small. It will make them seem bigger.
Now I'm going to apply these Kiko glitters. They are silver, tending to lilac.I'm going to apply them with this brush.
I'm applying them in the middle of the eyelide. This step helps you to make your eyes seem bigger too. I love the effect of these glitters.
Now we've arrived to the step I'm afraid to face the most: the eyeliner. We're going to recreate the mythical Ariana Grande's eyeliner. I'm going to use this Douglas eyeliner. I have to apply it off camera to make it better, 'cause I'm a bit clumsy with the eyeliner.
So I've done it. I'm not gonna lie, I made it a bit thinner 'cause I don't like how my eyes look with too thick eyeliner lines.
Now I'm going to apple this Bionic mascara. I love this mascara so much. It lengths mt eyelashes a lot.
You can clearly see the difference it makes! Now I'm going to apply this second mascara: The Better than sex of Too faced. I think y'all know it. It's really famous. It is also waterproof.
Ariana uses to have very long lashes, so if you recreate a make up of hers, never forget to apply a lot of mascara!
Perfect, now I'm going to do the same with the other eye, and then I'll be right back.
Perfect, now the eye make up is finished. You can see the difference!
Now I think we can move to the lips. Ariana has got lavender lips, so I'm gonna use the same lavender pencil I used for the eyes.
As you can see this step was really important for the final result, 'cause this is the most particular thing in this make up. I really do feel like I'm her. It feels so good OMG!❤️
So now we're gonna recreate her hairstyle too. It is a side braid on the left.
First of all I'm going to do a tail, and then the side braid. In the video Ari was wearing a wig but I haven't got one so I'm going to do the braid with my own hair, without painting them.
Ok! I've done it! I'm really feeling a lot like Ariana! It's an amazing feeling! I love my highlighter btw!
Now I'm finally gonna do the painting! I'm gonna paint only my face, not the body, but I think the result is already so good!
Now I'm doing some very definite lines, which I'm going to vanish next, to make everything more amalgamated.
Perfect, so this is the whole make up! I didn't create all the spots that Ari had, 'cause it would have been really too long, but I think I still look very much like her, so I'm satisfied! 😊
Then I'm gonna take some pictures! 😂, and now I'm gonna let you see the make up more closely.
Before leaving, I'm gonna show you my nail varnish of Deborah , it's a lavender color,to be themed! 😂
Ok, so now the video is over. I really hope you liked it! I had so much fun recording it! Let me know if you're gonna recreate this make or not and if you like it. In my opinion it is really original!
Now I'm gonna take some pictures, 'cause this is gonna be the miniature of my cover of God is a woman.
So yeah, I hoped you like the video! Let me know it with many likes and comments! Share the video, subscribe to my channel if you aren't subscribed yet, follow me on social media (you can find my usernames in the description down below)

HOW TO MAKE A MANGA PART 4 [The Publishing Phase: Traditional, Self-Publishing, or Webcomic?] - Duration: 15:35.
In the previous episodes of this series
I talked to you about how I
Outline my manga story how I draw the pages or draw off the pages and my process for inking the manga page in
Today's video which will be the final video of this how to make a manga series
I'm going to be talking to you about how you publish that manga
I'm going to be talking to you about the various publishing methods that you can use to publish your manga such as traditional publishing
self-publishing or
Uploading your manga as a webcomic
If you're new to my channel, hi welcome. My name is Manette cross
I am currently in the process of making a single volume manga titled having faith and
You're gonna hear me talk a lot about this throughout this video series or you would have heard about it before
But I am also in the process of a manga series title reflects your time
Which I have been working on since I was about 13
when you're looking at publishing your manga you have to also consider the difficulty of getting that manga published and
It's a lot to think about but it's definitely something that you do have to consider
Obviously if you're not a Japanese artist or author living in Japan
It's very difficult to get your manga published by normal manga publishers. So you're probably going to be looking more at
Graphic novel publishing companies if you're interested in publishing your manga with the traditional method
Even if you are in Japan, it's obviously very very difficult
there is a lot of competition and
The judging that it takes to choose whether something gets into print or not is very very strict in
Saying that there are a few
manga American publishing companies and
Graphic novel companies that you can try and send your manga to to see if they will publish it or if they can give you
Some tips to help you get that manga published first up. I'm going to be talking about some of those particular companies in today's video
one particularly popular English
Manga company is Saturday am now you probably have heard of it with artists such as whyt manga
Saturday aam is a great place to start if you are looking for a place to publish your manga because they have a
diverse range of
Primarily Chernin, but they also have shown shoujo manga. So it is definitely a company to consider sending your manga to
just see what they say about it what the publishing rules and
Regulations are but it is definitely worth considering when you get to that stage of your manga you
Could also try sending your work to Tokyo pop
Tokyopop is more of a distinct manga company
But they do stand out. There is a lot of manga that is published by Tokyopop
So the rules might be quite strict with getting it published with Tokyo pop
But they publish a diverse range of manga
particularly English language manga
So it is the perfect place to start if you want to try a more manga focused company particularly for more shoujo manga
You also have this media now just keep in mind this is a massive company they are huge
They published shoulder beat and shounen jump titles in English
It publishes titles from Japan in English
But if you look out for contests and publishing opportunities, you may have a chance of getting your manga published by them
But just understand that since their company is so large
it is much more difficult to be published by them, but do follow their social media because they do sometimes have
competitions for original manga
submissions and that goes for both shojo beat end shounen jump
So just keep an eye on that company
Because you never know when an opportunity may arise where you could show your manga to the world
You may also have a bigger chance by looking at comic and graphic novel publishers
Dark Horse Comics is one really good example that you can try
Another good thing about Dark Horse Comics is that they always accept submissions
There is a place on the website where you can look for details about email addresses and other places where you can submit your work
If
You are an Australian like me you may have heard of Gestalt comics
I just want to mention them because they accept submissions as well. I'm not sure if they accept submissions from American
residents, but it is definitely worth considering their work is more comic themed and
More for a younger audience, but it is definitely a place to consider the submission types change all the time
But if you keep an eye out, you may find something that you were looking for
Benefits to having your manga published traditionally by an actual publisher is that you will get a lot more exposure for your manga
These companies have a much broader reach and audience which means your work will be shown to a much larger
Selection of people not to mention they can also help you with editing and formatting your work for publishing
regulations
Plus with the prop publishing process you would also get a proper editor to be able to look over your work
So it would make your whole manga or graphic novel or comic completely publishing ready?
The cons of that in a lot of cases they do have more control over your manga or comic or graphic milieu
You get the idea they have control over the direction of your story the art
Basically everything that you have created they have a lot of control over that
I'm not sure if it's that for all companies, but I know in a lot of cases it is
They can decide exactly what gets published
What dozens how many pages your manga have and in many cases?
They won't involve you in the decision making regarding what goes on with your graphic novel or manga
They'll be the ones to make those decisions because ultimately they'll have control over your story
Plus from what I have heard
You won't make much money doing it this way unless you sell a whole lot of copies
You won't make that much money because the publishing company has to take their cut of the royalties
it is also very hard for your manga to get into that industry to begin with but just
Consider those pros and cons as you are considering this publishing method
Now, let's talk about self-publishing over
Liesl publishing is a much better method
If you want to keep control of the direction of your story your are and basically keep the whole credits form
Self-publishing means you have complete control over the story and the art and everything about your manga
one place that comes to mind that solely helps self publishers print manga is print ninja
You are able to customize every part of your manga yourself by your own choice, which is really awesome
And you can also get samples to test it first
Obviously, I have not tried this company myself, but it's definitely something to look into if you are considering self-publishing
You can also publish it through Amazon
You don't get to keep all the royalties your cell phone
But it is easy to use and you can get your manga out to the world really really quickly and easily so it's definitely worth
considering
There is also Lulu's self-publishing which you have probably heard from
Self-published novel writers and other writers because they publish all kinds of work
I have actually seen books
Self-published through Lulu and they always look really good quality as if they were published by a traditional publisher
You get to have control over the whole design of your manga or book. So it is really really good
Ingram's spark has a particular place for publishing graphic novels
Specifically they also publish various types of other books
Many other self-publishing companies and companies more specifically for manga graphic novels or comics
But the ones I have mentioned are the main ones or larger companies the benefits for self-publishing are the fact that you have complete control
Over your manga or project you have complete control over the whole thing
You can decide how much money you want to put on a per book
You can also decide the cover the artwork and the whole style of your manga
The royalty rates are great and you very quickly can have your manga published. There's no long. Wait, which comes with getting it published
By our traditional publisher and it's easy sir. Anyone can do it
The cons are that you have to do all the marketing for your book yourself
you're going to have to work really really hard to get yourself published book out there because in an
industry where they more accept published books by traditional publishers
You're going to have to work really hard to make sure that your self-published book gets noticed
it is very very difficult to break into the publishing industry when you've got a
Self-published book so you have to be prepared to fight for your book
So in saying that you may not get much exposure for your man girl
Plus you're not going to have an editor unless you
Specifically pay for one to format and correct your work and make it publishing ready. So that's also something to keep in mind
the third option I want to talk to you today in today's video is
webcomic
Uploading your manga as a webcomic is probably by far the easiest
Method to get your manga out there and let it get exposure
Not only can you publish and upload your manga on websites like Debian are and tumblr but there are other more specific
Webcomic sites where you can upload it and try and get readers
One of the most famous and well-known places to publish web comics is tap tastic nicknamed
Kappas you can easily create an account and start sharing your webcomic instantly
There are many popular online artists who publish their web comics on tap tastic just because of how easy it is
Smoked jeans is another very popular place one cool thing about smash jeans is that they can help you create your very own website
Throw your manga or graphic novel, which is just amazing and the result looks so good
But you do have to consider that it does cost money to make that
Website with your manga, so just keep that in mind if you're looking at smack Jeeves
Line webtoon is another really good place
Webtoon has a great way of advertising your comic. So it is easier to get more exposure and readers on it
It is more popular in Korea, Japan and China
But it also has many
english-language comics
There are great opportunities for artists as well as things such as merchandise if your comic gets enough readers
There is also the duck which is a lesser-known place to publish your webcomic which may make it easy as you get
exposure on the website for that comic
The benefits of uploading your manga or graphic novel as a web comic is that you can instantly start getting readers
You have an easier chance of building a fan base and getting readers
The cons are that you're not going to make much money out of it if any on that
Webcomic because you're uploading it for free online
If you do want to make money on that manga, it may be worth considering uploading it for free online
But also having a self-published version where people can buy a hard copy of it
Another con is that if you do decide to update it regularly
instead of uploading the
Final version in one hit you might find it's very stressful
And if you get a lot of readers that are pushing you it might be a bit stressful to continue that webcomic the most
Important part is getting yourself and your work out there to the world. I'm sure
many published manga writers comic writers or graphic novelists would say the way to do that is such a straw and keep
drawing and a lot more extra chip
I just want to mention before I end this video
One really really important thing that might not seem that important at first is to gain popularity
for your manga online before it gets published wherever that may be if you have some social media or a
Website or at least a little bit of a following online
Publishers are much more likely to consider publishing your work then publishing the work of another author who they don't know much about
Who doesn't have much of a fan base?
If you do have a little bit of a following
They will think that the manga that you are working on may be something that is worth publishing
even if you do end up going down the webcomic method or the
self-publishing method try to get your work out there any way possible so having a little bit of a social media following is
Really really good. So just keep drawing and sharing your work and it'll definitely get to that point
It's creating a manga graphic novel or comic is really difficult and sometimes
Tiresome journey to make there are so many things involved in the process of making it and so much work goes into creating
you're going to have to be prepared to work sometimes years to make your dreams of being a writer a
Manga artist a graphic novelist a comic writer make them a reality
But if you continue to work steadily towards that goal. You will reach it
You will get you just have to continue working towards it no matter how long that takes
No matter how much you have to put into it man-up no matter how much time it takes
Keep working towards that goal until you can hold your finished manga in your hands and say I create it. This is what I do
Thank you so much for watching this full series of how to make a manga everyone
I really really appreciate all of the kind feedback and support you have left in the comments of these videos
It is really really appreciated

Helps you fellow manga artists who are also going on this journey because I know it is a tough journey
And it's really hard to stay motivated sometimes as well. So I really hope this helped you in some way
Let me know if there is a publishing method that I missed talking about this video because I would love to hear about it
Again, thank you so much for watching
I really really enjoyed creating this series and sharing these techniques with you
Please share it with your friends and fellow manga artists if you enjoyed and if it helped you in any way
