Hey everybody today is a special day because it's my first haul with rose
gold hair actually it's kind of just pink but the bottle said rose gold so that's
what I'm going with today's haul is one of my favorite brands it's near and dear
to my little heart ModCloth I have not done a ModCloth haul in a while and this
is disappointing because it's like on of my favorite brands ever so today I am
righting that great wrong with a super-huge ModCloth haul I want to give
a huge shout out to ModCloth for sponsoring this video if you guys do not
know this I've been partners with them now for quite a while and I love them we
have like this little lovey relationship and it's just great when a brand you
love supports you and you support a brand you love it just it works and
these are my honest opinions I'll tell you if I like something or if I don't
with that let's just get into the haul the first item I got is this kimono
style top I'm obsessed with the print it goes from a solid red and then fades
into almost completely white but it's a bird print
I think this is super fun to just throw on over jeans and like a white tee
or any tee that kind of coordinates color wise and instantly look chic
I love me a kimono I also might have picked this out because I recently
booked with my hilarious stepmom a trip to Shanghai and for some reason I just
thought this would be really cool to wear there red is a very popular color
in that culture and I just thought this would pop there so I actually got it for
Shanghai there you go I'm back there you go now you know so how I envision
wearing this lovely thing is over like this and with a belt here oh it's
gonna look so cool with the Dolman sleeves and like a pair of high-waisted
denim amazing the next item I got is this fun blue
skirt with peach details down at the bottom now I did look at this in the
waist does look unusually small for this style of skirt so we're gonna see how it
fits on me pray that it does the skirt itself is from a company called Band Apparel
which I know that they have been doing a lot of different
partnerships with ModCloth so there's a lot of different items on the site from them
and it is made out of cotton and elastane and so it's mostly cotton and then just
as a little stretch to it I just really love the print I'm really into peaches
obviously because of my hair and I'm starting to look at things that will
match my hair because that's the type of person I am
what can I wear that'll match my hair you know what know who you are and live it fully
well this is an epic fail
this is a brand that ModCloth carries this is supposedly a three like
all of their other items it is incredibly too small
it's weird cuz the sizing on it said big in some places I think that's a mistake
and I'm actually gonna email them and be like yo this is sized incredibly small
this is not accurate so FYI the 3x is more like a 16-18 just as an FYI not a
true 3x as you can see I could probably take a prayer and literally hurt myself
to actually get this skirt closed this might be an obvious selection given our
previous discussion about matching my hair I love this color I thought it'd
look really cute with that peach skirt and who doesn't love a little cropped
cardigan for into fall throw this over a dress they have it in a whole
bunch of colors I got it in this color because I love
this color it takes two of my favorite colors orange and pink puts them together
into this lovely orange-ink which is like good orangey pink so I love a good
cardigan sweater like this because you throw it on over your summer dresses and
instantly they're appropriate for fall it is a three-quarter sleeve now I
remember when 3/4 sleeves first became popular again I was in like sixth grade
and all of the girls were like check out my 3/4 sleeve cardigan and I couldn't
get one cuz I was too fat and there was no fat people cardigans that were 3/4
sleeves so every time I get a 3/4 sleeve cropped cardigan I remember that hallway
conversation where literally 4 girls are like look at my super cute 3 quarter sleeved
cardigan and just wanting that cardigan really badly this is the same quality and construction of
most of ModCloth's cardigans it's the same kind of fabric it's a mix of acrylic
nylon and spandex super soft super comfortable again how lush is this color
so straight up I would just wear this cardigan has a shirt by itself because I
think it's super cute it's like a little crop top so look at me innovating it's
kind of bummer because but the skirt it was meant to go with is obviously (spitting noise)
the next item I got is this cute little polo I just thought it was so like 70s
vintage inspired I will say the colors of the stripes on the arms I thought
they were gonna be red and blue but if you look they're more of a gray and
raspberry I'm pointing that out because it looks different on site so when
you're purchasing know that this is raspberry and grey not red and navy as
it looks on site it even like back here it kind of looks red and navy in fact
I'm pretty sure you could wear it with something and people wouldn't notice I
just notice cuz I'm a nerd I like this cuz it's got some fun little
poin pointille details I don't know what that is where there's little holes
there's just holes in it guys but like supposed to be there holes not like
something chewed it and made holes like it was that it was knitted that way I
just think it's adorable it also makes me think of golf and I've recently
thinking maybe I should take up golf so that's maybe why I picked it because I
was like oh if I play golf that would be an appropriate golf shirt it is a
hundred percent cotton so natural fabrics for your body
well this shirt goes perfect with my new hair so obviously I love it no literally
like this stripe is the exact color of my hair they're like twins everybody
loves a good jersey dress I just thought the print on this was really fun that's
why I picked it out
how pretty it's a good little polkadot dress will look fun a little jacket over
it like a little denim jacket and I like that it's midi length
I'm gonna talk about this for a little bit you know that I love a short skirt
I'm not gonna pretend like I don't like to show off my gam gams once in a while
but I also appreciate when I sit down somewhere that the skirt is long enough
to cover my butt so I don't suction to things I talked about this before that
feeling of ripping your thighs of a hot piece of vinyl is top 10 worst feelings
ever so I've started to find myself gravitating to slightly longer skirts
not because they're more flattering but just because they're more practical
maybe this is me getting older or maybe this is me just saying you know what
I ain't datin' anyways might as well cover up the good goods until someone
buys them and by buy that made me sound like I was for sale just newsflash
not for sale you can't buy this you gotta earn it bow chicka bow wow
it's simple but it's really ravishing this shirt I've already shot in and I love it
it's super soft it's just a tank top but it's got these adorable little cactuses on it
none of them look like male genitalia cuz I got a cactus shirt like a couple
times ago and I had to return it because everyone was like that looks like uh-huh
and I was like what no like no look at it it looks like a huh huh so then I
looked at it and I was like oh yeah it definitely looks like a huh huh so then I was
like okay I can't wear this shirt I have to go back so I've been trying to find a
cactus shirt and so when I saw this one I was like okay none of these look
inappropriate they all look very clearly like cactus or cacti cacti is the plural
of cactus so we good plus it's super soft and that's really all I want in a
tank also long so it just covers a little bit more and now I don't have to
worry about like bending over and showing the world my butt crack because
I've done that before
let's be honest here just like my butt likes to be seen and I it's got a mind
of its own I try to cover it up but it always just finds a little way finds a
little way to get out there and I'm like why booty why and it's like girl when you
look like this you deserve to be seen and I understand I understand how it
feels cuz boop look how wonderfully long this tank is like can we just get a slow
clap for that because while I love me a crop sometimes you just want a long tank
this jumpsuit I've already worn and it is life I am obsessed with it
I love comfy jumpsuits they are my favorite things
comfy jumpsuits I can get out of easily are like my favorite things ever and
this is one of such jumpsuits I wore it on a date I'm not going out with that guy
again but he thought I looked real good so mission accomplished it does come
with a little tie let me find it but I took the tie off and put just a fun
belt just to add a little bit more definition and color to it I can't do all
black I mean I can but I just feel weird cuz I'm like a color person maybe now
with my pink hair I can but I just kept feeling like I knew little color so I
took the belt off and put like a color belt it worked for me so if you feel
like you can't do all black as well that's one way to do it but if you
are an all black person just use the belt that came with it there's no point
in fighting the natural order of things it's really soft Oh as far as what it's
made out of um polyester and spandex I mean it kind of feels like it it's heavy
too like there's a lot of girth and weight to this but it's not sweaty like
it has a good weight to it but it doesn't make you feel gross so this is
the most comfortable thing in the world and I also feel I just look so classy
my earrings are making lots of noise they're just excited about the jumpsuit too
they're like hey guys that's a great jumpsuit okay I'm obsessed with this
skirt it is probably my oh it's hard cuz I really like that jumpsuit but I have
worn this and it is epic it is a great skirt it is
way better than I thought it was gonna be this was kind of an item that I was
not super excited about I was like maybe this'll look okay and then I put it on I
was like dang girl you look amazing and the outfit I took in this skirt boop
the images fire fire flame flame flame I look good so now this skirt is
associated with me basically me blowing up the camera and I can't get enough of it
it is an elastic waistband for comfort it's pleated all the way down
you've got your three colors your black and a green and then to white it is
lined in like a it's a polyester stretch knit and it is just obsessed with it and
I think they have it in another colorway and honestly thinking about
getting in the other colorway as well I think it's navy yellow white but I might
be making that up regardless epic epic skirt also because
the underlay is not as loose as the top you get all the wind coming up under the
skirt but you don't get the flashy flashy which is a rare thing for any
skirt I've ever purchased for it to both allow the nether parts to breathe and
also not show the nether parts to the world obsessed obsessed one of my
favorite things in the haul the only thing that would make me like this skirt
more is if it had pockets but otherwise it's the best it is the best now I'm gonna have
some real talk this sweater I love the color but when I put it on and I don't
know why because I love the way it's cut I love the opening I love the
styling of it I should love this sweater I don't and I can't really figure out
logically why I don't like it it's well-made it's cool but I just kind of
feel like a football player in it like I don't feel cute in it and it's not about fitting
into some standard or anything like that it's just when I saw the images of me
this wearing this shirt I just was kind of like mmm and I very rarely look at
images of myself and go meh especially like well shot images of myself just
something about it didn't work for me and I don't have an answer as to why
maybe you guys can comment and figure it out down below but for real it was sad
because I was super pumped about this shirt but for my body it just doesn't
feel like me that said it's super comfortable so it's such an annoyance
because it should be amazing it fits it's comfortable it's the right color
but no it just doesn't feel me and it's my clothing speaking to me you can't
you can't fight that feeling anymore that this top is something horrible yeah it's not
horrible it's just horrible on me and ugh you'll see you'll see okay so now I kind of like it
why is it some days I hate this shirt and some days I love it I can't make up
my mind so my favorite like bougie bougie designer is Marimekko and when I saw this
skirt and jacket set so here's the skirt ooooh it's got a flair out to it it's
in this fun black and white pattern and the jacket is obviously in the same it
just reminded me of that brand and I just love them so much and you put
just a popity pop of color under it you can wear it over everything and plus so
I feel like I'm talking about everything and once that I'm getting confused I
like this print because it goes with everything and it makes the skirt and
the blazer super versatile so when you have a black-and-white print like this
you can pair it with all sorts of things you can do some pattern matching you can
do it with solid colors but it gives you some flexibility it also gives you an
unusual suit a suit that a lot of people never see and that's what I really love
and I love that ModCloth has options like that I would say that I probably like
the blazer a little bit more I ordered it one size up the reason I
ordered it one size as I wanted that kind of loose larger
blazer style with 90s fashion coming in so heavy right now I feel like
I just want a little bit extra room in things especially jacket because we're
gonna get some chunky layering we're gonna get some scrunchies in our hair
and we are going to watch Heathers on Broadway and pretend like it's the movie
in the 80s but anyway it just feels like the trend but I love the print and
pattern on these and I love this idea of co coor ... co-ords that you can wear
... co-ords that you can wear a whole bunch of different ways together apart
separate boom versatile but also a little bit special isn't this just like the
coolest suit ever one thing I will note is I ordered this jacket a size up
and I'm glad I did because I actually feel like it gave me a bit more room in
the arms so if you are someone like me who has large arms I would actually
recommend sizing up in this in just the top the last clothing item we have I
actually wore the last day of recording my book on audio which was exhausting and
it is this awesome black and silver stripy skirt number now it is all cotton
except for like the silver detailing it is super comfortable
one thing I will note is I ordered a size up because on the notes next to the
dress that said there's no stretch you know you might need more room for your
bust and even though I have a small bust in my mind I like panicked and I
clicked a larger size as you will see in the video of the tryon it is too big in
the bust for me I should have ordered my normal size so unless you are very
heavily chested if you are smaller chested like me or average chested I
would just order your normal size I think the panic got to me here and I
definitely definitely got this dress in too big a size now I'm gonna make it
work because I love it so much but it's the wrong size and I should have not
panicked so don't don't panic is the moral of the story don't panic it's
fully lined in black but it's a very light I think this would look adorable
in the winter you can put a black t-shirt knot it around to it so it's like
a skirt now and then throw a leather jacket or even a colored leather jacket
over it I just think it's a piece that you could wear through the seasons
fairly easily and I like the metallic because it makes it a little funky it
can make it super dressy or you can dress it down and still make it work
see now you see why I will get this tailored because it's too fantastical a
dress not to keep in my closet the last item I got are these epic heels
it's like yellow to blue to orange my like fav color kind of combo actually no
pink if pink was on here then it would be my hair gives the pink but I just
loved the colors I love the styling I couldn't resist I had no plans on what I
was gonna wear the with but I just knew that I needed them in my life and so
here they are for me to be best friends with forever and ever you stay in my
heart now I'll love you forever and ever never to part of my brand new shoes my
life is complete with you we made it it's the end of the hall that's all of
