Our network teams are keeping first responders connected as they battle multiple

wildfires across Northern California and Colorado.

North Central Wireless leader, Wendy Taccetta tweeted about the help that we're

providing in Spring Creek, Colorado. Saying "We stand behind the brave men

& women battling wildfires across the state."

S: And, in our latest Best For a Good Reason, Verizon Engineer James Tapia was

in Munds Park, Arizona to show us how we test equipment to help first responders

for when moments like this happen.

This is one of our mobile units that can provide a signal where we take it.

We have a fleet of them that we're prepping for wildfire season.

The fires often strike remote areas.

And when first responders need connectivity there

we take these mobile units to their location,

to help make sure they have a good signal.

J: Always ready for a crisis. And now here's Jennifer with the rundown.

 Japan's players were heartbroken afterwards, having been so close to setting up a quarter-final clash with Brazil

 Likewise, the fans in the stadium had tears streaming down their faces when the full-time whistle was blown – though that did not stop them from cleaning up the Rostov Arena afterwards

 The Japanese fans have made a name for themselves for their good manners, also cleaning up the stands after beating Colombia, as well as doing the same thing four years ago in Brazil

 Their good etiquette has rubbed off on other fans, with fellow Group H side Senegal also picking up trash after the game

 And that attitude extends to the team too; although there were plenty of tears after the defeat to Belgium, the players still opted to tidy up after themselves in the changing room

 They even left a note in Russian that simply read 'Thank You', ensuring that they leave the World Cup having won plenty admirers for their conduct both on and off the pitch

So listen, for all of us,

sometimes life gets so hard, so challenging,

that we just wanna give up.

We just wanna throw in the towel.

Here's the thing.

Don't ever quit.

And here's why.

The person who has the greatest need is

actually the prime candidate

for God to do something miraculous.

And unfortunately for many of us,

we throw in the towel in things that are challenging,

right before God wants to do something amazing.

See, that's the hope that we have as followers of Jesus.

You can hope that on this side of eternity,

God is going to work in the most extraordinary ways,

but God's miraculous hand is only seen when things

are totally a mess.

Think about Moses, when the Children of Israel

were stuck between the Red Sea on one side,

and the Egyptian Army on the other side.

Think about Jesus, He was crucified and buried,

but He rose again.

See, God's miraculous hand always comes

when things are in the worst situation.

So brothers, sisters, listen.

Never give up.

Never throw in the towel.

Hope in God, despite the situation.

So many of you, first I want you to share this message.

Because unfortunately,

all of our lives can be excruciating sometimes.

Things go so challenging,

that we all have those moments, like

"I just don't wanna do this anymore.

"I'm so tired of this."

Don't quit, 'cause God wants to do a work.

And in the comments section,

people you love, who are in those situations

that are hard.

Don't talk about what's going on.

They know.

But just say, "Hey, I think that this is for you."

And then speak joy and hope into their situation

South Korean women's basketball team gears up for special games in Pyongyang - Duration: 2:14.

With the Asian Games in Jakarta not too far away, the chance to meet, greet and mix it

up with Pyongyang's hoopers holds greater meaning to the women's squad.

Which is why, before the trip, our Ko Roon-hee went down to the practice facility to hear

directly from Seoul's players, their thoughts and expectations regarding the potential teammates

across the border.

The recent practice session for the South Korean women's basketball team at the National

Sports Training Center in Jincheon, Chungcheongbuk-do Province, was an extra special one.

They practiced as usual, but with anticipation for a special series of games -- friendly

matches against their North Korean counterparts in Pyongyang.

The games are scheduled to take place on Wednesday and Thursday.

The decision to play the games was reached by the two Koreas at their sports talks in

June, to boost cooperation and strengthen unity.

"After the inter-Korean sports talks in June, the South Korean women's basketball team has

been busy preparing for the upcoming match in Pyongyang.

The players expressed their excitement at flying North and meeting their counterparts."

"I am excited to go to North Korea to play games against them.

I'm looking forward to the chance and the opportunity.

Coming together peacefully is awesome, through basketball."

"The players feel honored to participate in the basketball games in Pyongyang.

I hope our team can contribute to improving inter-Korean relations."

This will be the fourth time the two Koreas meet on the basketball court.

The most recent match was held 15 years ago in 2003.

The team's head coach says he will use this chance to build strong ties with the North

Korean players.

"The North Korean basketball team is known for being very well-organized.

They are also very good defensively.

With this opportunity, I hope our team maintains a good relationship with the North Korean

team."

Meanwhile, Seoul and Pyongyang's female basketball players will meet again at the upcoming 2018

Asian Games in Jakarta.

It'll be just the second time for the two Koreas to form a unified team at a major international

sporting event…after they formed a joint women's ice hockey team at the PyeongChang

Winter Olympics.

The website drived over 500 visitors. The survey led over 163 answers

Among these 163 answers, we collected 68 emails, 115 people indicated an interest in an application

that would have all the features introduced previously,

and 38 need to be convinced.

Today, we are in the Altern'UP Challenge obviously tried to have a funding, we will ask the "Réseau entreprendre", and from August we have the opportunity

to start 1 year of entrepreneurship with the designers and developers of my school to be able to launch the application early September 2019

and this year will be used to define our acquisition strategy on the social networks and to approach the professionals

 The Samurai Blue were involved in a thrilling clash, taking a two-goal lead in Rostov, but were undone by one of the great World Cup comebacks as Jan Vertonghen, Marouane Fellaini and Nacer Chadli all netted in the final 20 minutes

 Japan's players were heartbroken afterwards, having been so close to setting up a quarter-final clash with Brazil

 Likewise, the fans in the stadium had tears streaming down their faces when the full-time whistle was blown – though that did not stop them from cleaning up the Rostov Arena afterwards

 The Japanese fans have made a name for themselves for their good manners, also cleaning up the stands after beating Colombia, as well as doing the same thing four years ago in Brazil

 Their good etiquette has rubbed off on other fans, with fellow Group H side Senegal also picking up trash after the game

 And that attitude extends to the team too; although there were plenty of tears after the defeat to Belgium, the players still opted to tidy up after themselves in the changing room

 They even left a note in Russian that simply read 'Thank You', ensuring that they leave the World Cup having won plenty admirers for their conduct both on and off the pitch

Matt Damon In Early Talks to Team Up With John Krasinski for 'King of Oil' | THR News - Duration: 1:15.

Matt Damon is in early talks to star as disgraced billionaire Marc Rich

in Universal's The King of Oil.

The studio optioned the book The King of Oil: The Secret Lives of Marc Rich for

John Krasinski's Sunday Night Prods. Krasinski, who is red hot after directing the horror hit

A Quiet Place, will produce the biopic that sheds new light on one of the most controversial

international businessmen of all time. The book was first published in 2009.

Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse will adapt the screenplay.

The hope is that Damon, who has a long history with the studio including the Bourne

franchise, will star as the businessman who fled to Europe rather than face a prison

sentence. The late Rich, who was once married to songwriter Denise Rich, was

eventually pardoned by President Clinton on his last day in office.

The pardon was controversial because Denise Rich had made large contributions

to Hillary Clinton's New York Senate campaign and to the Clinton Library foundation.

Boston natives Damon and Krasinski have collaborated on a number of projects

including writing and starring together in Gus Van Sant's Promised Land.

They also both served on the producing team of Manchester by the Sea.
