7 Signs Of Liver Damage Caused By Unhealthy Lifestyle & It's Cure!!

Apart from being the largest organ of our body, liver also got some crucial roles to

play!

It is responsible for a ton of functioning essential to keep us alive.

Keeping this in mind, it's essential to take proper care of it if you wanna be healthy

in a long run.

The good news is you can easily trace any signs of liver damage & can also stop the

damage.

Below are the 6 easy to trace signs of liver damage due to unhealthy lifestyle.

1.

Bloody stool poop.

Cirrhosis is a condition in which scarring of liver takes place.

Well, as you may know our body has the ability to replace harmed cells by healthy one so

in this case also our body helps replace scar tissue by healthy tissue and thus prevents

the liver damage.

But this protection is only upto a limit!

The damage caused by cirrhosis can't be completely reversed and in long term can become

so extensive that your liver can stop functioning.

This is called liver failure.

The early symptoms of cirrhosis can be determined by many ways like jaundice or oedema.

But the most easy is by stool characteristics.

A bloody, dark, tarry-looking stools is a sign of liver cirrhosis.

So if you are seeing this you have to be careful but don't worry it can be prevented.

Cirrhosis occurs due to excessive alcohol consumption & sometimes due to hepatitis C

infection.

If you're a alcohol addict you have to focus on the amount you consume.

Men should drink no more than 3-4 units of alcohol a day.

Women should drink no more than 2-3 units a day.

2.

Itchy skin.

A flaky rash is another telltale sign of liver damage.

If you suffer from any sort of liver damage you will have itchy skin over certain small

areas, such as on an arm or leg, or over your whole body.

You may ask, 'An itchy skin can occur by a ton of ways, how to trace if it's a signal

for liver damage?'

So here's the thing, if it lasts more than two weeks and doesn't improve with self-care

measures, then you can guess it as a symptom of liver damage!

The reason for this itching is related to bile salts.

These salts get deposited in your skin when bilirubin levels rise and have been thought

to be the primary cause of itching.

The quick fix to it is related to alcohol consumption & water intake!

Alcohol is a beverage which has a big role in reducing water in our body & in scarcity

of water these bile salts gets deposited in skin causing rashes.

3.

Yellowish eyes & skin (Jaundice).

Jaundice includes yellowing of skin and eyeballs, actually it's a bit way dirty disease then

it sounds!

The pigment bilirubin responsible for the yellow color of our faeces when gets deposited

in our body causes yellowness of skin & eye whites.

Do it sounds dirty, well maybe but the main thing is it's not good for our health.

Our liver is the source of bilirubin, it produces a limited quantity of it regularly but the

thing that leads to jaundice like condition is when it's not properly eliminated by

our body.

The reason is same, water scarcity & excess alcohol consumption & you know what to do!

Just make a habit of drinking 8 ounces of water daily & reducing your alcohol consumption

so you're good to go.

4.

Loss of appetite.

There are several factors and conditions that can trigger loss of appetite including physical,

biological, mental and emotional factors.

Also I wanna tell you, it's a symptom of bad health & not a disease!

It's a condition when a person eat less than what he or she normally consumes.

The person may also not eat at all lasting anywhere from one meal to several days.

I think we all have suffered this at least once in our lives maybe not due to any liver

issues but due to some other cause.

And you'll agree it's way more bad that what it looks like!

The feeling is indescribable.

It is also known as anorexia.

The main question here is what causes it & how to deal with it.

As I said earlier, it can be due to any of the physical, biological, mental and emotional

factors.

But the treatment can be physical therapy or relaxation (Meditation).

It will improve hormone levels leading to improvement in appetite!

Relieving internal stress and doing meditation to enhance mood and mental wellness will be

amazingly helpful in boosting appetite.

5.

Swelling & abdominal pain.

The organs of our abdomen are contained in a sac like membrane called the Peritoneum.

Normally this cavity contains only a small amount of fluid but due to our great efforts

in drinking alcohol beyond limits, we become able to guide our liver to accumulate some

more amount of it!

This condition when the fluid increases in amount causes an excess accumulation of water

and sodium in the body.

This fluid then further leak into the peritoneal cavity which leads to extra pressure on our

abdomen & other body parts causing that pain & swelling.

As every liver related problems can be effectively solved by more water intake & less alcohol

consumption, this can also be treated by that!

But if you can also focus on maintaining a healthy weight & eat a balanced diet for excellent

results.

6.

Swelling in other body parts like legs.

This swelling in your joints or any other part of body is not different from abdominal

one.

These are also due to accumulation of extra fluid!

But there's one thing uncommon.

Joint swelling also contains bile salts which makes it more painful.

You can go for regular exercises to avoid accumulation of these salts & can also have

healthy diet for proper nourishment of your liver.

Yo-Yo Champion Evan Nagao On His Life Changing Hobby - Duration: 1:56.

Really yo-yoing at this point has become a part of my identity.

I'm Evan Nagao from Honolulu, Hawaii and I'm the 2018 U.S. national yo-yo champion.

Why do I yo-yo?

Really the biggest reason is the community.

The yo-yo community is just a bunch of kids, but in adult bodies.

And we just hang out and just do this kind of obscure sport/hobby.

Yo!

Whoa!

What's up, man?

How's it going?

I went to see a kid who was diagnosed for leukemia and his wish was to meet me.

He's been spending a lot of time in the hospital and he hasn't really been able

to go outside but he has his yo-yo.

Even though it's such a simple thing that I'm doing, it can really make a huge impact

on people.

It's something that I really take pride in because it's something that I spent hours

and hours, like 10,000, 20,000 hours on.

I'm a master of my craft but on the simple side, you know, it's just a really fun hobby

and it just gets me through some of the tough days.

In competition, I go into what's called a flow-state and it's basically where time

disintegrates and I'm on stage for three minutes but it feels like two seconds.

And afterwards, I get off stage and I don't remember anything that I did.

You have to start somewhere, you're going to probably be not an expert when you first throw.

Just start throwing, like that's it, that's all you can really do.

And eventually maybe you know, you might become the national champion.

My mom gave me a bus card to use.

I'm really glad they gave me some money for the bus haha! (they're friends from school that he knows)

I dropped my phone!

5 thing to give up to raise your vibration, life now - Duration: 15:20.

hi this is richer morin founder of richerorin.com and today in this video I'm gonna show you

five thing you must give up in order to be able to raise the vibration and at

the end of this video I'm gonna show your technique to really help you read

that these blogs them that really prevent you from being that raising

vibration higher self and also if you need to discharge the channel about me

showing you techniques that helps you really create your dream lives by being

that person you're on your dream mind flight right now and really release

these things that makes you not being able to be that person right now for my

personal point of view I believe that we are all our higher self that we all are

divine we have God in our DNA we're coming from him but we'll bring brow up

with a lot of baggage and emotional baggage emotional and self conditioning

and all these things but the first first step to be able to raise a vibration is

to be able to live these emotion that brings you up like laughing being free

being happy being with you know feeling feeling these things that makes you

having more energy so to be able to raise over back vibration make sure you

let go of these fears to let go of these self-limiting beliefs to left to let go

of this emotion that brings you down these emotion when you feel like you you

like you heavy and expression and your shoulders and things like that

so how you can do that is by self talk by talking the right way guys how do you

do that so when you have like this kind of emotion like fear or doubt or

whatever it is just go and come to them with these kind of questions because we

always ask questions yourself and they have really big impact in their lives

and here whole being so if you have like a fear

or your doubtful whatever it is just turning around and ask if right now this

dog or this fear was gone and was feeling happy and free from that fear

and I was really high and everything in the happier place in my life

while we're changing my whole being so that is the emotion one just turn them

around my asking a question is gonna bring that fear that doubt back to be

happiness and laughing and things like that by asking like okay I have this

fear I have to stop right now what if this field this dog was gone

right now if was changed by happiness or laughing why would change my whole being

ask yourself this kind of question next step is simple is to forgive guys

because when you're not forgiving what happened to you or what you did to

someone else what happens is your ego your whole being is keeping that as

energy and what you keep even if it is just a towel if it's just feeling of

angry you're angry about someone or someone did something to you and you

feel bad about that you feel you want to kick them in their face or whatever it

is these feelings they always come back because you don't forgive them so be

sure you forgive people how can you forget you're gonna say rich man

this person just just make love with my wife when I wasn't there

I'm fucking angry about this person okay that's right that's okay but you have to

understand why they did that you have to put yourself in their skin even if it's

tough you have to put yourself in their skin and remember who you are you're not

this person living your life your god living a spiritual being life through a

human body that's what I believe in that's why I'm that's what I know so

make sure you forgive so if you have something that's

you happen to you and you still have angriness or you you're not forgiving

that person whatever it is and you still have this emotional baggage is

self-limiting baggage about this ask yourself this kind of question if right

now this this angriness or this thing half because this guy or this girl did

something to me like two years ago whatever if this feeling was gone right

now and I was forgiving that person right now I would change my whole being

if I was in the state of forgiveness right now why I will change my being

because if you don't forgive it's like you're keeping rocks and you're going

throughout with rocks attached to you needs do um to your ankles so make sure

you forgive people even yourself you did some things in your life and you didn't

forgive yourself and that's bringing you down just forgive yourself because at

that moment you had this mindset you had this experience and life so forgive

yourself because now you've been you you grew your better you had some that man

you learn things forgiveness is about understanding why the person did because

there's a lot of people what they do things they do it because they are in a

certain state they're experiencing life in a certain way you have to understand

that everyone is unique and everyone has their own way to create life so forgive

one Strauss a lot of people I know yoga meditation is so popular because people

they feel free when they do meditation and they do yoga because they have to

focus on their breath they have to focus on nothing they have to just observe

your thoughts so just ask yourself if really your thoughts anything you think

are really who you are why are you able to see all the difference

tops it's because you are higher than that

guys you are not your thoughts you are not your self-image just detached from

them and just observing and just go back a bit and just be a observa t'v like see

throughout all your life you thought you were this kid when you were a young boy

a young girl but now do you still think you were your this same person no

because you change the self makes change it's always changing but because we see

yourself as a person this person is not changing right away is always changing

through a lot of different experience but even the self dementia after

yourself it's not the same self amaze you have two years ago it's changed so

just be aware that everything is always changing and you are the one that is

there it's not changing that's why you can see everything is changing in that

we can see all this emotion these different self limiting believe these

different doubts always changing and if you want to change your thoughts it's

the same thing talk to yourself an other way ask

different questions so if you have a thought that's how I record

just go in that town and ask who is suffering with from this stuff it's like

one we're happy and we have happy thoughts who is the one being happy

about these styles it's the self image we have and because

we're that's fine with that it goes on your body and makes this feeling of

happiness and all of that but remember you're not the thing you think in your

hand you're not these towels passing either either so the fourth step the

body guys make sure you put in your body right thing a lot of people they talk

about including the right food in your body it's not just about food like when

you eat things it's about mental fluids about emotional

foods make sure that you you put the right emotion in yourself so if you have

a feeling of fear and you give attention to it so energy to that what could

happen is it's gonna bring up more of that and

that's how the law of attraction works if you are in a balanced state you're

gonna attract more abundance and if you are in a balanced state you're gonna

have abundance thoughts make sure you reach Ange your body in the right way

you want a lot of people running it's once they gotta make them have more

energy and eat and fasting you have been fasting for the last ten years guys each

day I I eat once a day at 10:00 p.m. so somewhere around 2-3 hours before

Goodstein always eat and I have more originating

at the average people it's just crazy and a lot of people when I work they're

like man how do you do that don't eat at lunch don't eat in the morning how do

you do that being able to live all these heavy things all that I'm saying like

and just have a lot energy because when you put a lot of food in your body

what's happening is all the energy goes there to this digest this food so make

sure you put the right food it's not just about the food in your stomach yes

the stomach is the second brain that's true but the first brain is this one so

make sure that you're always aware of what's happening in your hand and when

there's bad thoughts and things like that turn them around to be positive or

remember who you are you're not these thoughts don't lean on to fight with

them don't give them attention yes they're gonna come and they're gonna

pass but the one who is getting who is suffering from these stuff it's the one

you think you are so also remember that you're not the one who is suffering from

these thoughts always ask when you feel suffer in your body weakness doubts

whatever always say something like who is the one

right now suffering from that because the body is not saying I'm

suffering from that it's that thing in their hand the person we think we are in

our and identifying with these doubts saying oh I'm suffering from that and

because we're not aware of that we think we are the ones suffering but we have to

be aware that the person selfish we have our self is just image it's not what we

are guys fifth step people make sure you have the

right people around you in your life yeah you maybe have a big heart like I

have I used to be around like negative people people drop me down because I was

like Jesus in my hand I have to be around everyone even if they're negative

and people like that because I have a big heart it's gonna help that it's

gonna heal them yes it did but in fact it got so much

energy out of me that I was always down and no energy no mental happiness

because I was always surrounding myself with negative people because I was like

I'm gonna help them with my my home my whole state my upon that say all of that

I'm gonna be there for them I'm gonna help them and all of that it was like

towards five six ten years I finally got the real rizal and I was like okay I'm

gonna stop them because when you bring up what you re

are and what you really believe in in your environment in your life and you

give attention that what's gonna happen is it's gonna bring more of that around

you in your life because yes there's negative people but don't put your

attention there and bring that people around you bring good people define

people hurtful people people have heart because what's gonna happen is gonna

bring up your energy between all of you you're gonna bring up energy the

conscious collective energy and because of that just because you are like that

it's gonna help these people even if you're not there because body

stops to bodies even if you don't talk with your mouth energies talk to energy

likes attracts lives as you love attraction a lot of people say above

that last one six one is a technique it's simple technique sometimes you try

to turn around these styles you try to change your reality just by changing who

is in your life you change your food you focus on the good energy you change your

emotion to be happy not that but it still doesn't work for you because you

have subconsciously are energetic or whatever it is something here and you're

in your surrounding in your whole round whatever that's blocking preventing you

from being that person and this is where I come in I help you with that

there's technique that's simple I'm just gonna bring down the camera you take

care knock that and whatever it is even if you don't know why you have always

bad energy target damage in your life and you're like why it's happening to me

and you don't know the real reason of that you take care of that then you see

something like even if I don't know what it is I want that right now because of

your intention this is gonna work I want it right now to put my hand and you you

just say that all up and your whole being is gonna know what you're talking

about and it's good and go in you're having just take it you just you pitch

it to the universe and in your city and the universe is gonna take care of it

you let it go just because of you you're doing that and I always measure for one

to ten first like when you did it when you start how much it was intense for

you and you just do that take your breath focus on something else for 30

seconds women when you feel a change you come back or if you don't feel a change

just come back and you do it until you you feel free from that even if you

don't know why it's there what it is whatever it is just do that you have an

emotion you don't forgive someone or whatever I'm not forgiving this person I

don't know why I want to forgive them but I'm still feeling angry about them

so we take care and I don't say okay this feeling of angriness about this

person and the fact don't forgive that person I'm putting

that in mind right now that's the intention so it's not my hand

and take it and just push it into universe and that's it you just do this

rinse and repeat until you when you say it

having gripper at this person it's not there anymore I don't feel angry about

this person anymore and that's it thank you very much for

being there guys and we appreciate you being here and watching my videos if you

have any comments experience questions just put them below under the video I

want to interact with you I want us to be community guys and just I'm not just

here to be the guy who's making videos I really do that because from my heart I

really want to help you become the person you are in your dream right now

then release everything that's preventing you from being able to do

that if you like this video give it a thumbs up and share it with your friend

someone you know is gonna like that I was gonna help and also press the bell

to get the notification each time I put a new video I do new video each Tuesday

and Thursday and yeah that's pretty much that

thanks for watching my video my Superman creator and I wish you a wonderful day

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF TWO TEENAGE YOUTUBERS! Avrey Ovard & Marla Catherine! - Duration: 7:30.

ok are you ready

i was born ready

should i put my hair in a high ponytail though?

if you want

okay maybe i'll put it back down then

oh your mom's holding something for you

oh i'm good

what's up you guys it's avrey, so as you can see...i'm here with marla!

- i'm back. - she's back!

so today we're just kind of doing like a little fun vlog

just like a little day in the life

we're just kinda like - we're just hanging out

having funzies.. and filming it

everyone's probably gonna know that like this intro is like after because we're just like in the same... we have not already gone shopping

did they catch... that wink

yeah, we forgot to film an intro, so we're doing it now

but anyways, um

if you just wanted to come hang out with marla and i for a day, then keep on watching

we're gonna go shopping and we're gonna have a meet-up, and we're gonna go get food besides - i didn't vlog that so...

you can use some of my footage if you want. i like did like a few clips of... the food.

it's fine i dont-

i can email it-

i don't need clips of our cafe rio food

but anyways, we were just chillin in my car, so about to go about to go shopping ... again

okay this is not looking good

i would just put this piece up. yeah, i had like four pieces down. i look like a surfer boy.

it be like that sometimes. it does.. i think you look cute.

anyways, we were also filming a video on marla's channel, so i'll have that link down below in the description

go check it out. it'll be so funnnn

go subscribe, keep on watching if you want! bye!

so we are now in urban, we were just looking around, marla just pointed out that she had this shirt.

wait... do you have this on your camera?

yeah i do

it always gets - it's already right in the way

yes... like right here

it messes up the shot... i know. our lives are so hard... so hard. are you buying that?

i think you should and you should wear it to the meetup

that looks like a dr. seuss thing. something the cat in the hat would wear.

update: marla has one shirt. i have two shirts

you're doing better than me

we've had a few people come up to us and say hi and like just to let you guys know it like makes our day

like it makes us feel just like.. but honestly you guys are like......

i'ts weird though cause you guys treat us as if we're high and mighty but we are totally...

we're very normal basic human beings

we all brush our teeth. ya like...

we all look ugly in the morning

we don't know where we're going with this. say hi to us if you see yeah

if you guys ever see us... i seem so monotone right now when I'm talking

i woke up early today - ok this is just a mess, good bye

it is so loud in here, but I really like this shirt

i'm debating on which color to buy. which color do you like better?

the red is like, iconic, but the mauve is like, mwah. its like that

so you're saying you like the darker one better?

nice avrey...

thank you so much. yeah i like this one it's cute

okay, perfect. thank you so much

i think i want this in a bigger size

continuing on our journey, marla has a bag, i have a bag, where are we going? we're going in the food court

oh, i thought you said we were going to pacsun

sorry, we're going to pacsun

im so confused

im so hungry

dude i just asked if you're hungry you said only a little bit, do you want to get food? because i'm hungry too

ok lets get food

we are now in a little thrift shop. i mean, it's not really a thrift shop, but like it kind of looks like one

so we are just doing a little video for marla's channel. they picked out some clothes for us, which was so nice

they are so nice, love you Vantage, heart

update: marla's stuff, my stuff. they have some really cool things - is it steve... from blue's clues?

i am in the bathroom, this is employee's only, but she still let me in, so.

my hair...

it's very hot

*ugly laugh*

i feel like your vlog camera quality is better

really?

yeah, it looks good.

we're running late. it's 6:32 - we're supposed to be there at 6:30, but we're almost on -

we're almost there to the park, we are four minutes away, as my car says

four minutes away, and

are we nervous? yes. yes please be nice to us, i know you guys aren't going to watch this until after

...migraine... oh no i'm doing great

i'm a little nervous, avrey is a little nervous, we're gonna be fine though

your mom needs to get over and she hasn't noticed yet

there we go, there she goes! no offense mom but you're not very good at driving

i just wanted to say, we'll be there soon.

we're acting like this is a livestream. i know, okay never mind, peace

yeah, we were heading to the meet and great right now. marla is vlogging for me because obviously i am driving

i hope you couldn't just see me doing that cause that was kinda weird

anyways, i can look at the camera, we're stopped but yeah, i'm so nervous

i've never really had a meet and greet before. i've been to them like with aspyn at vidcon but like that was for aspyn

not for me

does aspyn get nervous?

yeah, i think so

she's just not like - it's not that she's not a people person but like she just literally has like no social skills

when people come up to her she just like acts like a freaking stick. like you have to do something.

okay, we are here, and this is a dog park. i wish you guys - oh my god, they're all running around

oh my god, i miss eevee. oh my gosh, they are so cute, oh my gosh

so we have started the meet and greet, there are so many people! marla and i are so excited

okay, so what's your name

tylee. okay so this is tylee. she's the first person i've met today

she just started vlogging and she's so cute and so nice. thank you for coming!

so it is the end of the night. it is almost 12:00, i think. it is 12:01. it is the end of the day.

if i'm being honest, i forgot to film an outro with marla

um, i'm so frickin mad at myself because i didn't even film anything at the meet and greet

it was kind of hard. there was surprisingly a lot of people there

i mean like - i don't know that

definition of "a lot of people" can be different to everyone

we were there for a solid two hours meeting you guys and it was

honestly, it was honestly such an amazing experience. i met so many amazing people if you came

thank you so much. if you brought me a gift or a note or whatever, i appreciate that so much

i was just barely reading them. i didn't get like a ton, but i did get a few. and it's not even that part

that's like super special. i don't know, all of it was super special

marla and i genuinely had such an amazing time and we thought you guys were so sweet

and so nice, um, honestly, we both were so nervous and you guys were just so nice

i'm really mad at myself that i didn't film anything. marla's mom asked me if she wanted, um...

to f-- like, if she wanted. her to film anything for me on my camera, and i literally was like

"oh, no, it's fine" because i was just so overwhelmed. it was so overwhelming, but it was so fun

i hope you guys enjoyed this video

sorry, it was kind of all over the place

but I mean... life: it be like that sometimes, you know. sorry marla isn't in this outro

but i hope you guys enjoyed this video if you did give it a thumbs up

let us know if we should do more meet and greets

i don't know it honestly was so fun and i really loved doing it. so... it was a good day

that was my first meet and greet i've ever done. i'm gonna post some pictures of it right here

okay, hopefully that was enough time or maybe it was even too much time

that's a little look at the meet and greet. also, here's another pic, the most important one:

insert the one of me with the dog, obviously.

i think that's all

thank you so much for watching and i will see you guys later. bye!

Buying Hay on the Ranch - Our Wyoming Life - Duration: 13:26.

Hi I'm Mike.

This is the 3rd year in a row that we are going to have to buy hay for the ranch.

An expense that will an effect on everything.

Today we look at the hay production, what we have made to this point, what we are going

to have to buy and how to pay for it, on a special episode of the Project List on Our

Wyoming Life.

Welcome back to Our Wyoming Life.

This is an episode that, if I can be perfectly honest with you, I'm not looking forward

to making.

It's a tough one and I'll see if I can explain why.

Every rancher I have ever known up until this point has been a very private person, at least

in this area.

They don't share how many acres they have, how many cows, or even sometimes what kind

of grass they have planted in the pastures.

I've always thought that it was some sort of arrogance that brought that on, but now

I realize.

It's a defense mechanism.

Bear with here, if you are the only one who knows your rough acreage, your inventory,

your costs, then at the end of the year you are the only one who sees success or failure.

If you share with everyone that you have this much land, this many cows to feed, you've

harvested this much hay, then you are opening yourself up for a number of things.

Trust me I know.

Since we have started haying this year, we have received hundreds if not thousands of

emails and comments, most are good, some come straight out and say that we don't know

what the hell we are doing.

One thing that blows me away is how some folks, and this is the very negative minority, don't

take different climates into effect.

Different soil structures, the fact that we only have a couple of inches of topsoil or

driving wind and not much rain compared to where they may be.

There are plenty of places that you can get 4 cuttings of hay, tons and tons of hay off

a few acres, this is not one of them.

So back to that defense mechanism.

When you are in a harder situation, you have to notice that you get more defensive.

I think everyone does it, its kind of that back up against the wall mentality.

No one wants to feel like things are slipping away from them, out of their control.

You want to have the answers on how to fix this problem, but sometimes the fix is beyond

your control too.

Maybe it costs too much, or you have other opinions that you must deal with also, or

maybe you've piled on that added pressure yourself and you have 36,672 that you don't

want to let down either.

But hay, here we go again.

Opening ourselves up, you think I'd learn, but you guys are in this with us in a weird

kind of way and we welcome you along for the ride.

So this is going to a bunch of numbers and a bunch of math, but its all important to

figuring out how the ranch will stand financially next year.

What needs to be done and how to do it.

We are going to break this down into 3 parts.

We are going to figure out what we need to feed cows over the winter, we are then going

to figure out our hay production on the ranch and how much we are going to have to buy and

then we are going to look at ways to pay for it.

Doing it this way leaves little to the imagination, the numbers don't lie and should make the

whole situation obvious.

Our first step in the process if figuring out, how much hay we will need to feed the

cows over the winter.

That is our big expense of the year.

When it comes to feeding cows, or any other livestock for that matter we use AUM or Animal

Unit Month measurements.

An AUM is the amount of feed required to sustain a 1000 pound cow for one month.

Its figured at roughly 2.5% of here body weight per day.

So 1 single 1000 pound cow will consume 800lbs of forage or hay per month.

Our cows are a bit heavier so we figure 1200 lbs or 900lbs per month.

That number is multiplied by the number of cows so we will be feeding 135,000 pounds

of hay per month or about 68 tons.

Take that times the 6 months of feeding in the winter, a good estimate, although we never

know what winter will bring but it gives us a place to start.

68 tons a month for 6 months and we need 408 tons of hay.

Just to feed the cows.

Throw bulls in there, with 5 of them big guys.

Eating 50lbs each per day and we add another 23 tons.

So we are nearing that 450 ton mark.

450 tons of hay is what is required to sustain 150 cows plus the 5 bulls for the winter.

We also have a few heifers to feed and horses so that takes it up to about 500.

That also gives a buffer for a rough winter.

Now lets turn to our production for this year.

We have harvested about half the hay we are going to harvest this year from the ranch.

Hay production is light.

Normal production for this area is about 1 ton per acre harvested.

This year we are going to be lucky to get a half a ton per acre average.

That is due to the lack of early rainfall as well as soil condition, I'm not going

to lie.

Our hay fields need work and figuring out the best way to do that is on the list, but

what is done is done.

We deal with what we have so if we can harvest about 500 acres of hay ground this year.

That will give us 250 tons of hay produced by the ranch.

That's good, its better than nothing and it definitely helps.

Like I said earlier this is our 3rd year in a row buying hay. 3 years ago we bought all

the hay the ranch needed.

Hay production was that bad, it wasn't even worth cutting it so we grazed it off to help

get the cows through the summer.

Prices were better then and we spent about $70,000 to buy hay.

Last year we harvested a quarter of what the ranch needed and that year cost us over $50,000.

This year we are still going to be lacking 250 tons of hay and I have already been pricing

out and trying to line up hay.

As demand goes up, which it is the price of course goes up.

I have found hay that I can get delivered to the ranch at the price of 185$ per ton.

For that 250 tons we need we are going to be looking at a price tag of $46,000 and change.

I have looked at hay from farther away that may be cheaper in the field but it's the

trucking that gets us.

We can get it delivered for about 5$ per loaded mile.

Every hundred miles a truck runs costs us 500$ just for the truck.

The hay that costs 185$ delivered is grown about 200 miles away, so we are paying 1000$

per truck load just for the delivery.

By the way each straight truck carries 22 tons of hay usually, so our 250 tons will

be on 11 trucks.

So if I can find cheaper hay farther away, there is a point where it becomes more for

trucking than hay.

I found hay 800 miles away, for 100$ per ton.

The truck can still only carry 22 tons, so that's $2200 for the hay, then add on the

trucking and now I am paying $281 per ton of hay.

That's the curse of buying hay, the farther away you go the cheaper the hay but the more

the trucking.

We have to take all this in account when buying hay.

Now lets look at the hay we can make on the ranch this year the 250 tons.

Lets say we didn't buy hay and just fed as many as we can with what we have.

Just cows and bulls, 250 tons of hay will feed about 80 cows and 4 bulls.

We would sell around 70 cows or roughly half the herd to do this.

This of course would affect the next year on the ranch as the income from those cows

will be half as much, but we would have the money from the sale of the cows that we sold

to make it through winter.

Is it better to have the cows or the money in the bank?

I can tell you, that you can't spend a cow, but money in the bank will get spent.

One way or the other.

That seems to be how it works.

Ok, so we sell just enough to pay for the hay we need.

This is a tricky situation too, because now we are trading ranch capital for operating

expenses.

Not a good idea and a bad spot to be in.

Now that money is gone for sure, not in the bank although it is an investment in keeping

the herd size up and producing more income for the following year.

There are bank loan options but personally I'm not too keen on that prospect.

But there is one other option and oddly enough its thanks to you.

Everyone who has watched our videos over the past 18 months and watched a commercial or

ad before it has been helping us out.

Those fractions of pennies have been adding up.

We have never taken a dime from YouTube to this point.

Its just been sitting there in an account for us, saving it for a rainy day.

Oddly enough this is a rainy day.

We have done the same with our Patreon supports, those that pledge a set amount starting at

1 dollar per month to support what we do.

And although we never anticipated it, that's what is going to help us out.

Would I rather have taken that money and put it into something else?

Would I like to replace Erins Yukon for her or at least had a down payment to do so, of

course I would but you have to prioritize.

Over the past 18 months, thanks to Our Wyoming Life we have earned enough to pay for a little

over a quarter of the hay we need.

Not all of it, we are going to sell my horse trailer to help and we will be selling some

cows this fall and the income there will help too.

Let me go on record as saying, when we first came here to the ranch.

Not knowing anything about ranching or farming, it looked easy.

Its not.

There's never enough cash to go around, you basically work for free, you make sacrifices,

but you also get a lot back from it.

Being here on the ranch has made both Erin and I better people.

And it has made us friends that we never would have had otherwise, people that I couldn't

imagine not having in our lives.

Its also made Our Wyoming Life a community of people that take our work in putting out

videos and support a ranch they have never visited, probably never will.

We didn't start doing this to make money, but I can say that right now.

I'm glad its made some, and I have you to thank for that.

So thank you.

We have a lot of decisions still to make, none of them will be made overnight, although

some of them may be made over sleepless nights.

We are going to have to rob peter to pay paul.

My ranch had will have to wait another year, a new car for erin is out, plans to build

an office and move our Wyoming life out of our bedroom are probably postponed.

But that's ok.

I made a promise a few years ago before Gilbert passed that we would figure out how to do

this and make it work, and as messed up as it looks.

I think we are doing that.

Sizing down the herd may be a step, figuring out how to make more with less may play into

it.

I've had people ask me what I though Gilbert would think of the YouTube thing and I don't

really know.

He was one of those guys that had that defensive mechanism up around him.

You never saw his failures or his hard times but I know that he went through them.

The ups and downs, he was near bankruptcy more than once in his life and I know that

if he got to know you, he would be very impressed.

And so am i.

That's it.

I'm done for the day.

I need a drink.

More to come as we decide a road to take and of course that road may be rough but it will

be worth traveling.

I hope you come along.

Please subscribe, explore the ranch life and escape the ordinary.

Together we can do great things, and those things are coming.

Have a great week and thanks for joining us in our Wyoming life.

Solo Female Van Life: 100 Degree Summer DAY IN THE LIFE | Hobo Ahle - Duration: 13:02.

Hey y'all. Good morning. I'm gonna catch you up real quick cuz I'm kind of in a

hurry. So this morning I woke up at like 5 ish, I worked out, I ate breakfast, and

then I drove to Starbucks which is where I am now. That was actually kind of fun

my GPS took me some like randomly really scenic way. "Like judging from the

road you would not think I'm in the city, but I swear I am. I'm just going to

Starbucks." Anyways, and so now I'm about to go inside and meet up with one of my

friends and we're gonna have like a little like work meeting type of thing.

She's basically like my accountability buddy.

We pretty much like meet up sometimes and we work on things together even if it's

like separate stuff because she works online too and we like brainstorm off of

each other and just tell one another what we've been up to, what we've

made progress on, like new ideas... all kinds of stuff. So it's usually really

productive, it's really fun. So I'm looking forward to that. And I actually-

this is kind of random, but I got a root canal not that long ago - I've always

heard that those things are like horrendous. I don't know, mine wasn't that

bad. Like at all. Anyways, so I got a root

canal and my dentist... Oh amazing. After the whole thing was done they're like "oh

yeah so like we give out gift cards." I don't know, I thought that was super cool.

I did think it was kinda random cuz I was like "you're gonna give me a Starbucks gift

card at the dentist after I just like had my teeth cleaned or had a root canal

or something like and then you're like 'here have some free sugar", but I am

so down! And I'm super excited to finally get to use this Starbucks gift card that

I've kind of just had chillin in my bag for, you know, like over a week or so.

Yeah, I know I know, cool story bro, whatever. So I'm actually

super late, I need to go inside, and I'll catch up with you guys in a bit.

So we just got done at Starbucks. We're actually kind of just taking a break.

It's like 1:30 and I totally had to change my shirt because I didn't realize

the other one I had uhh spilled something on it. So yeah worked about three and a half

hours at Starbucks, shout out to Robert it was nice to meet you, and now my

friend and I are gonna go grab some lunch.

We just got done eating and now it

is 3:27, it's roughly 3:30. I have somewhere to be at 6:00. So in the

meantime I think I'm kind of just gonna kill time by like doing errands.

By the way, right now the weather = 104 degrees. Yeah, that's the situation.

AHHHH It's so hot in here! Like so hot! The air's on, but it's still hot.

I've been driving for like 15 minutes and I'm still 15 minutes away from the

post office. Yeah, 30 minute drive to get some stamps.

That was supposed to take 30 minutes but it took me 35 with the- 35? It took me 45!

with the train and my grandma driving.

Alright two second errand complete what whaaaat.

It's so hot, I'm so sweaty, where am I and why am I here?!

Okay so it's basically 4:30 now, which means I have a whole hour to kill

because at 6:00 - from like 6:00 to like 8:30 I'm gonna go to a Bible study. It's

actually - that sounds like kind of crazy. It's not like from 6:00 to 8:30. It's

like actually two Bible studies back to back that's why it's so long. And that'll

be really nice because that'll take up a huge chunk of time where I'll be in the

air-conditioning. And then yeah, by the time I get out of there like 8:30 I'll

pretty much be ready to get ready for bed so that'll be super awesome.

So I also need to run to Office Depot, but I mapped it and the nearest one to

this post office is 23 minutes away! Go figure.

So if I spend like 25 minutes going there and then another 30 minute drive

from Office Depot to this church that's a lot of time right there.

Umm so then I can just kind of peruse Office Depot, enjoy it their air

conditioning, and get the binder that I need to get. Check something else off my

to do list. Random side note: I filled this up at Starbucks before I left and it - I'm

pretty much done with it. I don't - you're not gonna be able to see that.

I would just spill it everywhere cuz that's me.

But anyways yeah, so even though it's 106 degrees F outside, I am

staying hydrated. Oh I just filled it up with water, did I say that? Their water is

really good. Anyways anyways, off to Office Depot.

So it is now like 9:30 ish and I'm finally done with all of the things that

I had to do today. The only stuff that's left is to take a shower, which I'm going

to do in the van and a little bit and go to sleep!

So this - like everything that I did today, is not necessarily like it's not a daily

routine, it's not a weekly routine, like it's not any sort of routine. It's just

kind of like me showing you literally what I just did todayyy. So that being said,

like on days like if I'm not in an area where I know anybody or if I don't have

like a specific place to be like I'm not going to a Bible study for example....

Then I would just go to like the library to do some work by myself or I'll just

work outside depending on the weather. But like if you couldn't tell, just like the overall objective

is to keep busy, like find things to do, stay outside the van.

So obviously like the tasks and everything that I choose to do can

totally switch up. Because I get asked a lot like "how you live in a van or like

HOW TO like live in a van in the summer?" and that's the thing, I mean most people

don't stay in really hot temperatures, like they go north. But there's some

people that like just kind of tough it out. I mean like there's for example,

people who live in like camper trailers and stuff and like RVs who will live in

these temperatures like because they're living in one specific location

year-round so they'll just kind of - they have an AC or multiple AC'S

sometimes lol. And I mean like realistically, you can put an AC in a van. Like they

make AC's for that, like kinda. But like my point being that like, I think a lot

of people ask that question kind of under the impression that like if

someone lives in a van then like they're hanging out in their van for a good

chunk of the day and honestly no matter what the weather is, like whether it's

cold, hot, perfect, don't matter... I don't want to generalize and say "mostly" or like

"everyone", but like me personally, no matter what the weather is... I moved into

a van so that I could live more outside. I'm usually not actually in here

like I eat in here, I shower in here, I sleep in here, well and I store my stuff

in here, and drive in here ... so I guess like a like a little bit more. But like

low-key not really like there's not a lot happening in this van. So it's like

my goal was to be outside more and so it's definitely like you know, you're

kind of like, I'm forced you know - it's like because if it's a 100 degrees F

like it's - I can't sit in this van and just like cook. Even at night like it is

like 9:45 at night and it's still like 102 degrees F. Like it'll definitely

cool down, but right now with like the doors open and like the windows open it

really like, it's still hot, but it doesn't feel like that bad. And I have

fans like I have one right here. Can you even see it? I have two of these. So if I

just kind of put them like in front of the windows for like air circulation and

like all that stuff like it's usually pretty chillin. I won't sleep with the

doors open or even unlocked, but I will sleep with some of the windows open. Not

all the way rolled down, relax. Just like kind of cracked. And that's another thing

too, it's like I think a lot of times people expect like living in a van to be

like "how do you live in a van and make it comfortable?", but key thing there...

like you don't live in a van and make it as comfortable as a house, you live in a

van and make it as comfortable as you possibly can. So what that means is, is

that unfortunately sometimes there's only so much you can do and it's kind of

just gonna suck. Like the past couple of days because it's 100 degrees F at

9 o'clock at night. That's my life, that's my reality. But hey,

that's okay, because this is what I chose and I choose this for very specific

reasons. So it's just - it just comes with the territory it's something I have to

deal with you know. There's pros and cons to every lifestyle and situation in

general and like existence and there's always sacrifices that need to be made

and this is kind of just one of those things.Llike the place on this earth

where I am that it is blistering hot, I'm only gonna be here for two more days

like a day and a half. So like I have to sleep in this tonight and then I have to

sleep in this one more night and that's it. That is it. Then I am out of here

and I'm gonna be so thankful and so happy to be going to much cooler

temperatures. But the whole purpose of this was to just kind of show you guys

like my day living in a van in the summer really isn't any different than

like any one else's day. Like the only thing is that like I don't get the

luxury of like just chillin at home. Like literally in the a/c and like just

hanging out. But it goes to show you that like it can be done you just have to

work with what you've got and what I've got is a giant metal box as a house and

100 degree F weather. That's just ... yeah. So yeah, I'm kind of just gonna wrap

this up cuz I really need to get ready for bed cuz I gotta be up really early.

I'm sorry that I don't have any like super cool hacks or like trade secrets

of how to survive living in a van in the summer. My only advice is to kind of just

like tough it out and do your best to not be in the hottest temperatures on

the planet and then to just remember the reasons why you chose to live in a van.

And you know, I stress that a lot... that like the "WHY" you do something,

is so important because it's like .. yeah, not gonna lie, sleeping in a 100 degrees F,

in the middle of summer, in my van... it's not fun. Like you've got - I get

really sweaty. I literally shower and then within like

ten minutes I'm kind of sweaty again. It does help to take like a cold shower

though and then to have the fans on with the windows open and lay down and then

you get like used to the temperature. So it's like 100 like sounds bad, and

it's totally bad, but like it's not as bad as you might think. Maybe? I think that

makes sense. You know, body's adjust...

I forgot where I was going with that... Oh yeah! okay, so that situation = not ideal,

not my dream life. However, the stuff that living in a van allows me to do like in

my life... that stuff is like super awesome and so since I like how its

molded my lifestyle so much and allowed me to pursue other things and just ... you

know, all kinds of stuff! Because of all of those WHY'S that have come into

existence because of living in a van, then putting up with like a week's worth

of 100 degrees F sleepless-ish nights ... ehhh I'm not gonna be ecstatic about it, but I'm

just gonna take it for what it is and just look forward to when it's over.

Anyways, okay, I said I was done talking and then I just kept going. Story of my

life!!! Good night. Peace out. See you guys next time

Life on Mars: SHOCK NASA study finds Martian soil 'TOO DRY' for alien live to thrive - Duration: 4:53.

NASA's scientists from the Ames Research Center in California travelled to the Atacama desert in Chile, the driest place on Earth, to discover more clues about Mars' habitability

By drilling into the parched soil to collect microbial samples the researchers aimed to learn more about the possibility of life below the surface of Mars

Instead, the researchers were confronted with findings which could dash the hopes of UFO hunters around the globe

The arid landscape of the Atacama desert most resembles the hostile surface of Mars due to its dryness and only a few millilitres of rain a decade

Related articles NASA 6-year anniversary: US space agency celebrates 6 years of work  Rather than find out microbial life can thrive in these extreme conditions, the researchers were faced with the realisation the arid planes of the Atacama are an absolute kill zone for life

And the prospect of finding microbial life on Mars looks even worse because the Red Planet is between to , times dryer than the driest regions of the Chilean desert

But Mary Beth Wilhelm, an astrobiologist at Ames who co-published the findings this month in the journal Astrobiology, said the unfavourable results could still teach valuable lessons about Mars' past

She said: "Before we go to Mars, we can use the Atacama like a natural laboratory and, based on our results, adjust our expectations for what we might find when we get there

"Knowing the surface of Mars today might be too dry for life to grow, but that traces of microbes can last for thousands of years helps us design better instruments to not only search for life on and under the planet's surface, but to try and unlock the secrets of its distant past

"  On June 7 this year, NASA announced the discovery of organic material in Martian rock samples drilled out by the remote Curiosity rover

Although the presence of the so-called "tough" molecules was not immediately recognised as evidence of past or present life on Mars, the discovery was a monumental step towards unlocking the planet's ancient history

At the time, Thomas Zurbuchen, the associate administrator for the Mission Directorate at NASA, said: "With these new findings, Mars is telling us to stay course and keep searching for evidence of life
