Youtube daily what Jan 2 2018

Good Morning - today I just wanted to touch briefly on a subject near and dear to my heart

indoor air pollution. I'm just going to tell you what it is where it comes from

and a few simple things you can do about it

indoor air pollution is when contaminants both synthetic and natural

build up inside your home and adversely affect your health. Now the contaminants

can either be chemical, natural, energy or noise.

So another contaminant commonly found in homes is smoke. It comes for cigarette

smoke cooking smoke and sometimes people who have fireplaces especially if it's

not a sealed fireplace that will have more particulate in their home. These

little particles of smoke can get into your respiratory system and cause damage

such as lung cancer bronchitis and other respiratory problems. VOCs - "volatile

organic compounds" - are emitted by solids and gases throughout your home they

include cleaners furniture new carpeting paint pesticides almost everything

synthetic in your home will emit VOCs mold is a contaminant commonly found in

homes it can cause respiratory problems

allergenic reactions and often will lead to long term respiratory diseases. One

easy way to control mold is simply to turn on any humidifier to keep your

humidity level in your home or at around 50% and to well ventilate the rooms.

Ozone is created by an interaction of ultraviolet light and

electricity. It's commonly found outdoors but it can also accumulate indoors in

high concentrations. It can cause asthma attacks and shortness of breath

but the most important fact about ozone is that it interacts with the other

chemicals found in your house to create toxic compounds such as formaldehyde.

So, ventilation is key to keeping your indoor air quality clean and healthy - one

way you can do that is to use an HRV system also known as an ERV system it's

a heat recovery ventilator. It goes into your furnace and just brings in fresh

air and moves out stale air - but really the most effective way of getting fresh

air into your house is to open up the windows even for a couple of minutes

every day. According to NASA one of the key things that you could do to improve

your indoor air quality is to have indoor tropical plants - they are

fantastic for air exchange and do take a lot of the contaminants out of the air

for you. Microbial contamination is also found in our homes in the form of

viruses bacteria molds and fungus. This is easy to combat just using an

antimicrobial essential oil diffused into your air and using antimicrobial

essential oils in your cleaning products. One thing to remember is when you're

diffusing antimicrobial essential oils they are most effective in the first 30

to 60 minutes of being diffused.

What Is A Bitcoin Wallet And How Does It Work? - Duration: 7:15.

Hey guys and girls!

Welcome back to the Bitcoin series where we try to find a way to make a passive income

through digital currency mining.

In this episode, we ask the question "What Is A Bitcoin Wallet And How Does It Work?"

to give you guys a better understanding of where to put your precious coins when you

buy them.

My name is Jake Owens and this is Millionaire Mindset Hub.

Alright, let's get into it.

If you have a credit card or use cash in the real world then you probably own a wallet.

They're traditionally leather which you flip open to reveal pockets to hold your credit

and identification cards, maybe keys and a space to hold your cash or other long and

thin paper items.

So, you already know what a wallet is an essentially what a Bitcoin wallet is, sometimes referred

to as a digital wallet is because it's the exact same concept.

However, instead of being a physical product that you keep in your pocket, it's a very

sophisticated software that stores your cryptocurrency virtually.

Now, before we delve into the various wallet types, it's important to tell you guys what

a public and private key are as this can determine what wallet you choose.

A public key is in the name, it's an alphanumeric address that you provide to the public which

they can use to send you coins.

Whereas a private key is the opposite, it's the key which you need to keep safe and secure

as it's the alphanumeric code which allows you to send coins to other people.

So if someone else gets their hands on it they could send themselves all of your coins.

To own Bitcoins, or any cryptocurrency you need a digital wallet.

Which there are five types to choose from.

A desktop wallet, a mobile wallet, a web wallet, a hardware wallet and a cold wallet.

Desktop wallets as you'd imagine are installed on a desktop computer giving you, the user,

the ability of complete control over that wallet enabling you to create a Bitcoin address

for sending and receiving cryptocurrencies.

Mobile wallets can be seen as a step up from desktop wallets in the fact that they aren't

fixed to a single location.

So unless you're one of those people in the habit of carrying their desktop around everywhere

they go, a mobile wallet allows you to send and receive Bitcoins and other digital currencies

anywhere you are in the world as long as you have an internet connection.

Once you get the wallet app working on your phone properly it works just the same as the

desktop wallet where you're able to comepletely control that wallet and all of your coins

inside.

The mobile wallet also allows for a touch to pay payment method by scanning a QR code

which allows you to pay for things similarly to 'Apple Pay'.

Then there are web wallets.

These are online wallets you access through a desktop or mobile on a browser like Chrome,

Firefox or Safari.

These are the same as a mobile or desktop wallet where you have control over your coins

and can send or receive money at any time and from anywhere as long as you're logged

into your account using that same QR code or through account transactions.

Then there are hardware wallets.

These are basically devices that can hold private keys electronically and create payments

but are still in the development phase and have not been released just yet.

And lastly, there is cold storage.

Which essentially is an offline method of safeguarding your coins.

This is where your coins are on a platform that is never connected to the internet, protecting

it from unauthorised access, cyberattacks and other abilities that come with online

access.

These could be things like a USB stick that is never connected to a computer that is online

or it could be a piece of paper.

The desktop and mobile wallets are relatively safe since the key is stored on the actual

device.

So someone would have to physically steal your computer or phone to have access to that

private key.

Cold storage is a method allowing you to keep your private key completely offline so there's

no chance or ability for outsiders to remotely access your private key.

They would have to physically take the device where the key is stored.

Even on desktop and mobile, there are threats of hackers being able to log into your computer

or mobile remotely and have access to your wallet that way.

You can do cold storage by filing your private key on a USD stick, CD, Hard Drive, Paper

or a computer that never goes online.

Because the key would never have access to the internet, your key would therefore be

100% safe unless someone physically stole that device that you had your private key

on.

And the least secure way to store your private key is using an online wallet because anyone

in the world is able to gain access to your wallet souley through a username and password.

So taking all factors into consideration, what I would recommend, is using a mobile

wallet if you're intending to spend your coins.

But if you're not it's best to use a cold storage method for maximum security.

Even having a piece of paper and filing it away into a bank vault could be your best

option.

So, taking all factors into consideration what I would recommend is using a mobile wallet

if you're intending to spend your coins, if you're not it's best to use a cold storage

method for maximum security.

Even having a piece of paper and filing it away into a bank vault could be your best

option.

So in conclusion, when you have a wallet you have two keys, a public key and a private

key.

A public key is the key you give people so that they can send you money, whereas a private

key is your key you use to send other people money.

There are multiple ways to store your keys, you can use a desktop wallet, a mobile wallet,

a web based wallet, a hardware wallet and finally cold storage.

Cold storage is the most secure way to store your currency from hackers as your wallet

never touches the internet.

The web based wallet is the least secure method as it can be quite easy to figure out someones

username and password.

So I would suggest something in the middle, like a mobile wallet so it gives you the freedom

to be able to make transactions from anywhere in the world that you have an internet connection.

Keto Diet Explained For Beginners (What Happens) - Duration: 9:14.

keto ketogenic ketosis what does that all mean is it just a fad or is it

something good and natural that we can do long term stay tuned and I'll explain

the basics hey I'm Dr. Sten Ekberg with wellness for life and by subscribing to

our channel you will learn everything that you need to know to master true

health. keto ketogenic ketosis there's nothing strange about it your body has a

few basic resources for fuel and one is carbohydrate which results in blood

sugar and another is fat that it can burn for fuel proteins can be used for

fuel but they're primarily building blocks so fat or carbohydrate that's

what we have to burn for fuel so the problem today is the people eat

way way way way way too much carbohydrate which creates insulin

responses and insulin resistance and diabetes and inflammation and obesity so

to counteract that we have energy from fats and now we can use different

amounts of fat versus carbohydrate if we use very very low amount of

carbohydrates the body gets more dependent on fat it gets better at

burning the fat now the brain uses primarily glucose which comes from

carbohydrate also known as blood sugar but if the blood sugar and starts

running a little bit low then the brain learns to depend on what's called ketone

bodies and ketone bodies are a byproduct of fat metabolism so if you eat a lot of

carbohydrates then your body doesn't have to rely on fat so much so it kind

of forgets how to use the fat and the reason that the carbs the blood sugar

gets burned first is that blood sugar needs to be maintained within a very

very narrow band a little bit too much is toxic a little bit too low

is also detrimental so the brain the body has all these defense mechanisms to

keep it within a very or narrow range that's why carbs get burned first but if

we start cutting back on the carbs now the brain has to start depending on fat

and it up regulates it changes the receptors it changes the metabolic

pathways it changes the enzymes so it can utilize the fat more efficiently and

this can be very very effective if you are having trouble with insulin

resistance or stubborn weight this idea has been around for a very long time

because before they had all these drugs for everything and people saw natural

solutions one of the main problems that they started addressing with diet was

kids with epilepsy and they found that they had about a 95 percent recovery

were remission or dramatic improvement if they put these kids on an extremely

high fat diet so why are you cutting down the carbohydrates way way way down

to less than 5 percent of of calories and having almost all the rest of it

from fat these kids brains did remarkably better so sugar is very toxic

for the brain so it's not just about the weight and and weight loss and so forth

it's about your overall health ketosis is a natural response from the body

during starvation and historically presumably during thousands or millions

of years there has been periods of starvation and during that time there's

very very little blood sugar available and for probably months at a time the

body has relied on fat and it has produced ketones and during those times

the brain relies primarily on ketone bodies for energy so ketosis is a very

natural thing and during starvation something else happens also that

it's very beneficial there's something called a toff adji which means that the

body gets better at cleaning up it gets better because it start kind of

cannibalizing itself to get resources for energy it starts breaking down fat

which most people would think is good and it starts breaking down protein

which most people think is not so good but at the same time it improves not

just the breakdown but it improves the cleanup it improves the ability to

recycle and clean out waste products so it's an excellent detoxification method

and also what starvation does is it increases dramatically your amount of

human growth hormone which is a rejuvenating rebuilding hormone so the

body has these different mechanisms it gets better at cleaning up when it has

to break things down but it also produces more growth hormone so it can

rebuild cells better and get more economical with the body's resources so

there's some debate whether this is a good thing for long-term or if it's

damaging overall what some people are afraid of is what medical doctors talk

about called diabetic ketoacidosis that's a pathological state in diabetes

when you have absolutely no ability to use your blood sugar your blood sugar

goes really high but there's no way to get it out of the blood and into the

cells now you are at the most extreme level of starvation because there's

nothing coming into the cells and in these situations the acidity from the

ketosis goes up dramatically but we're talking about something that can't

happen in a healthy person if you have any insulin and any ability to use that

blood sugar at all then your ketones are never going to get to that level so

diabetic that has gotten to that point it has he has hundreds or thousands of

times the ketones that a normal healthy person could ever get to no matter how

hard they tried and if we look at populations like maybe

the Eskimos they are relying for very long periods of time throughout the year

on primarily protein and fat and those people those populations will probably

run six months at a time on ketone metabolism and they have no ill effects

so what's more important is to understand we're gonna cover more in a

series on nutrition it's the quality of the food it's not just that you want to

look at how much fat and how much carbs we want to look at do the fats have are

they are they whole food are they come from a healthy animal because then they

have plenty of nutrition for your body to support it and some people think oh

well I have to go low carbs so they start putting in a bunch of artificial

sweeteners like aspartame and acesulfame and all that

now you're poisoning your body there's nothing good about that at all so we

have to keep understanding that even though we're making these changes it's

still about eating whole natural healthy food that comes from nature in a as

unspoiled as unprocessed state as possible so is this for everybody

I think everyone can benefit from doing it from time to time does everyone need

to do it probably not I certainly advocate low

carbs for most people because as a population 99% of us eat way way way too

many carbs but it doesn't mean that everyone has to go into ketosis it's not

gonna hurt you but I don't think you need to so the people who really really

could benefit from this are people who have trouble losing weight who know that

their insulin resistance who are diabetic or borderline diabetic these

people need to dramatically transform their metabolism they need to get a

little bit more extreme to get those those desired results if you have any

experience with this if you have any questions if you have any challenges let

me know and I'll be more than happy to try to address those

Steam Tables: What are? - Duration: 1:55.

Welcome back MechanicalEI, Did you know that all basic calculations of a thermal power

plant can be carried out using a steam table?

This makes us wonder, What are steam tables?

Before we jump in check out the previous part of this series to learn about what the properties

of steam are?

Now, The properties of water are arranged in the steam table as functions of pressure

and temperature.

separate tables are provided to give the properties of water in the saturation states, the liquid

states and vapour phases. all this data can be used in solving problems to find out where

and how a particular condition of steam will behave at a particular state.

An enthalpy–entropy chart, also known as the h–s chart or Mollier diagram, plots

the total heat against entropy, describing the enthalpy of a thermodynamic system, in

these case a water steam mixture.

The bold line is the saturation line above which all is either liquid or vapour and below

which is a vapour-liquid mixture.

To the left of critical point is liquid and to the right of it is vapour.

The vertical lines are all constant pressure lines and the horizontal ones are constant

temperature lines.

The lines with negative slope below the saturation line are dryness fraction lines.

Hence, We first saw what a steam table is and then learnt about the Mollier's Diagram.

Low carb for doctors: What about cholesterol? - Duration: 4:14.

So many patients and doctors are worried about cholesterol.

And this is one of the most important reasons

that you are going to take a baseline lipid profile, not just the cholesterol.

The other thing is to think about

how you're going to discuss the lipid profile with patients.

So when I'm talking to patients

we are talking about the headline cholesterol, the total cholesterol,

in actual fact that normally drops a little, but not always.

I'm explaining to patients that their whole lipid thing

is more complex than just a simple cholesterol.

So many patients have an idea, "What is my cholesterol? It's 5, it's 6?"

So I find it best to introduce the idea that it's more sophisticated than that,

though we're looking at both helpful cholesterol and harmful cholesterol.

That brings in the idea of the HDL-cholesterol,

which you will have measured in the profile,

so often you'll see the HDL go up.

So that even if the total cholesterol goes up a bit,

this is more than weight or counterweight by the HDL,

which I find goes up significantly.

And it's so helpful for patients to get that next step of the ratio idea.

I actually rather like discussing triglycerides.

Triglycerides for me used to be a real problem

because I didn't know what to say about a high triglyceride,

but now showing an interest in triglyceride levels

it works very well with the low-carb approach,

because so often you are going to find significant improvements in triglyceride.

Very often at the end of the day you are going to end up with patients

and some things have improved and some things have got slightly worse possibly.

And the idea is to help your patient understand this more sophisticated approach

to managing risk that yes your total cholesterol may have gone up a little perhaps,

but actually weighed against that, your HDL has improved

and your triglyceride is better and your blood pressure is better.

Because patients with their doctors have to make overall decisions

about, "Was this a good idea or a bad idea?"

But coming back to what I said at the beginning,

in my own experience most patients see nothing but improvements.

Now there has been some mention of hyper responders.

These are people whose cholesterol jumps up significantly on the low-carb.

I've seen this twice in four and a half years

and in both cases the cholesterol did go up very significantly,

but at the same time so many other risk factors improved substantially

in terms of blood pressure, weight, how the patient felt about themselves,

that these two patients on balance much preferred the low-carb approach

and decided for themselves they were not worried about this high cholesterol,

because they felt it was outweighed by the advantages of the approach.

So there are hyper responders,

maybe not as many as some people would expect,

and when that happens you have to deal with it in an individual basis as to what the risk is.

My final thoughts on that is you could do calcium scoring on the coronary arteries

and that would really tell you where that patient is in terms of risk.

And then you wouldn't really need to worry too much about cholesterol at all,

but that's only going to these hyper responders that are rare.

The majority of your patients are going to see on balance

better lipid profiles in my clinical experience.

Hello Friends

This is fresh green apple, I bought it from famous retail store

this shiny and looks like fresh apple and you can not see wax on this

Nothing is wrong in this apple at this point

Now I am going to show you actually whats wrong with this shine

Take hot water in bowl

Put apple into bowl for 8-10 seconds

take apple out from hot water and keep it to get dry

now you can see how much wax you are eating daily if you eat apple

this much wax can cause illness to you

What the f?! | Doki Doki Literature Club | Part 6 - Duration: 23:08.

Hello everyone. My name is Crow_Se7en

Welcome to Doki Doki

Let's continue this game

Oh, that's right. Today is festival day

I'm not sure... I didn't check Sayori in her house

Maybe, Sayori is still sleeping

It said get out of my head

Get out of my head before I do what I know is best for you

Get out of my head before I listen to everything she said to me

Get out of my head before I show you how much I love you

Get out of my head before I finish writing this poem

But a poem is never actually finished. It just stops moving

Let's go to Sayori's house

That's Sayori's house

Jesus Christ

I told you! This game is not suitable for children!

Parents and guardians, you should have listened to me!

Did you see that?

I hope that I'm still sleeping

Wake up! wake up now!

I made the wrong choice

Look at...

Look!

What is that? What does it say?

I can't understand

It's not over

Jesus Christ

It started over. This is a different story without Sari - - Sayori

Manga

Make a poem?

Thought so

It started over

Wait..

Where are the cupcakes?

Ok?

N-o-t.. Nothing is real..

Nothing is real

Oh again..

I will skip this part

Excuse me. I can't see closed captions

I can't see...

Ok, let's stop for now. I will continue this game for the next video

Thank you for watching. Please click Subscribe, Like, Share

or whatever that will help me a lot. See you in the next video

What is he saying?(60) (Listening Practice) [ ForB English Lesson ] - Duration: 2:27.

Hello everyone and welcome back to ForB's English lesson video.

My name is Richard and today I'm gonna say something and I'd like you to guess what I'm saying.

Are you ready?

It's getting cold.

It's getting cold.

It's getting cold.

Could you catch that?

Alright.

Let's try that again but this time with a little hint.

You ready?

It's getting cold.

It's getting cold.

It's getting cold.

Did you catch it?

Alright.

Let's try that again but this time a little bit slower.

It's getting cold.

It's getting cold.

It's getting cold.

Did you catch it?

Alright.

The answer is "It's getting cold."

Alright so the "I" in "It" is said softly and the "g" at the end of "getting" is also said softly,

and the "d" as well.

So it sounds like "It's getting cold."

It's getting cold.

Alright.

So let's practice that together.

So please repeat after me.

First slowly, then a little bit faster after that.

Are you ready?

It's getting cold.

Great.

Now let's try that a little bit faster.

It's getting cold.

Great.

Now even faster than that.

It's getting cold.

Great.

Now let's try that three times quickly.

It's getting cold.

It's getting cold.

It's getting cold.

Great.

So now you know what to say when the temperature gets cold or you are feeling cold.

You can always say "It's getting cold."

Alright.

So my name is Richard.

Thank you for watching today's video.

Remember to please click like, share and subscribe.

And I'll catch you next time.
