what's going on guys it's Brian from BG meeting innovation and today I want to
bring you some great content if you're new to the channel
it's full of digital marketing tips ecommerce insights and really
step-by-step how-to content for any aspiring entrepreneur that wants to make

in
alright guys today we're gonna build off the web design and how to build your own
website playlist and a couple of the videos that I've been doing in the past
couple of days to essentially demonstrate how you can
and different basically different tips and tricks to set your own website up
and what you should do now here we are on my omein website and today we're
gonna set up a lightbox so we're gonna capture emails by setting a lightbox up
now what is a lightbox if you're unfamiliar with what a lightbox is its
will go to my website right here which is actually where we are creating it
right now we'll go to the live website and you'll see here that my life cocks
should pop up within like 9 seconds as someone scrolling and it'll pop up any
second here we go so this is the lightbox essentially it's an email
capture you'll see it on a vast array of different websites you know and it's
that box that pops up that you can click away from or X out of that asks you to
submit your email that's a lightbox now these questions obviously ignore this
lightbox I've said every single time on my website that looks so juvenile I just
haven't gotten a chance to change it so in ortholite box but this is basically
what a lightbox is um now these questions that I'm answering right here
come from comments that people you know drop on their YouTube channel on
different videos they come from emails from pen questions that I get all my
courses and they also come from questions on udemy so if you guys want
to see a specific video obviously I have videos in mind just to kind of get off
tangent for a little bit for a brief second I have videos in mind that I want
to get out there but if I get enough questions or a specific question that I
like I'll make a video on it I'll demonstrate it right here for you in one
of these YouTube videos coming soon so as always this is our channel this is a
how-to channel for aspiring entrepreneurs to get your your you know
help you build your brand and kind of reach more people and it's big about
marketing and e-commerce so any question that you have whether it's building a
website like this whether it's you know an amazon question whether it's an
affiliate marketing question anything that I'm involved in and clearly you
know you can see all the stuff that I do on my website and my youtube channel any
questions whatsoever whether it's marketing e-commerce how-to for aspiring
entrepreneurs period go ahead and let me what you'd like to see and maybe I'll
make a video on it so that's enough about that we're gonna drop the lightbox
in a second and I'm gonna show you how to actually set that up so I'm on Wix I
love Wix I use Wix all the time now if you haven't checked out my latest video
on how you can basically set up your landing page which is everything above
the fold right here and this is the landing page right here essentially and
obviously I'm generating traffic to my B gene University but the majority of you
will generate traffic you know to a you'll you'll want to basically capture
the emails so if you haven't checked that video out I'll drop that up in the
right-hand corner right now that way you can learn how to set up a landing page
on top of that if you haven't if maybe you're trying to set up a free blog or a
free web site you don't have enough money to pay for hosting you don't have
enough money to pay for you know something you know a website whether
that's WordPress or Wix or whatever go ahead and check out the video drop up in
the right-hand corner right about now that will show you how to create a free
website that you can basically use and is 100% live until you get the money you
know going for you to pay for it now I love Wix like I said you can use
WordPress you can use anything across the board they'll be an affiliate link
to Wix in the description down below if you want to check that out which is a
great you know beginner friendly website building platform that anybody can do
and you'll clearly see that you know here I'm literally using it because I
believe in it so much it's it's super easy to use it's drag-and-drop there's a
million different features on Wix I'm not gonna even specifics of them because
I have an entire course on how to create a website which will be linked in the
description below but we're going to set up a light block but this excuse me the
lightbox now today and so I'm gonna go into
manage pages right here and that's basically we do the drop down menu
manage pages now see here all my pages that I created all right here I can
individually manage them I can hide them if I need to I can unhide them but
you'll also see store pages and light boxes up here so if I were going into my
store which obviously I sell you know II products and digital products I saw my
courses but we're gonna go into light boxes and you'll see here that my free
drop shipping course light box that I literally just demonstrated in the
beginning of this video for you is right here I created already so what you're
gonna do you're not gonna have that you're gonna add a light box now you can
pick from any of the designs across the board you'll kind of see you know what
they look like when they pop up and clearly you can kind of once you set
them up this isn't exactly what you're gonna get this will be the template and
then you can obviously you know modify that design wise and layout wise and
color scheme wise if you're not you know 100% attached to this white box but it's
just the design of it and the general idea so I'm gonna pick one like this
just for the just for the sake of showing you guys and then you can kind
of modify your text it's the same as the video that it yesterday basically it's
that managed form that we did yesterday in that video but you're doing it in a
lightbox pop-up now so same thing goes so if we're doing the drop shipping
store for example just to kind of you know bring up a random example maybe I
would offer like a 15% discount 15% off first purchase or something like that
and then I would delete this and then we will change the settings of this to like
same thing as before menace in the form you don't need the name or the phone
obviously you don't want the title cuz you pretty much put it here in in bold
and big lettering you don't need a subtitle but instead of I always say
instead of hitting subscribe on the button text you don't see it here cuz
it's actually black but I always like to say like get or receive or you know
submit or something like that not subscribe because this is something I
talked about the video yesterday as well you know you don't want to hit subscribe
that's already implied they know that they're submitting their email to an
email list that you know that they're submitting their email in exchange for
you know something of value you don't need to also tell them that they're
subscribing it's gonna lower your conversions so I like to say you don't
get receive whatever you want to say you can you could say you know yeah receive
whatever there's a million different things that you could say with mine for
specifically on my website you'll see that I think I say what is it oh it's
just submit something simple and obviously you get the free course so
this isn't the lightbox but this is the same type of form that you're that we're
dealing with and then you're gonna want to add your thank you master
and instead of thanks for subscribing it'll be like you know like maybe your
discount should be in your inbox shortly and like thanks sir thank you is the
subtitle something simple like that it's very easy to set up now if you want to
change the color scheme you go to layout actually sorry design you go to design
you can change you know the way it looks kind of the different styles you can
change the header color you can change and just play around with the background
color all sorts of stuff and it's pretty pretty easy across the board with Wix to
kind of you know mess around with the designs and the color schemes and that's
basically how you set it up now if you want to you want it to be in the middle
of your screen we're starting in the middle of the lightbox here then
obviously you're gonna want to put the header alignment here and there but we
don't have a header so you can't actually see it on the form but I always
suggest putting it in the middle it just looks a little bit better and then
obviously your body alignment is should be you know whether or not your submits
on the left or right but that's basically it guys I like to go with the
vertical actually that way you're not you don't doesn't really matter if body
alignment but that's just a personal preference you can go with whatever you
want but that's basically setting up a lightbox guys and then as soon as you're
done with that you'll see here that if we go back into manage pages that
lightbox is here now I'm gonna delete this cuz obviously I don't want this on
my website but it's pretty pretty simple if you need to modify you can always go
back and do it the same exact way but that's basically setting up a lightbox
guys that's how all the main stores do it that's how you know you go to Target
calm and they have a lightbox pop-up you go to you know all sorts of different
stores big guys do it the same way that you're gonna do it you just want to kind
of play around with it and get your design down the right so I hope you guys
