Here you can see Norwegian Artic MRE, made by Drytech

You have one main meal with some additional items (similar to US MRE)

Contents are printed on the top in three languages: Norwegian, English and French.

The weight and calorie count are also printed, so this ration has 1360kcal and just 350 grams (12.34 ounces/0.77 pounds) That's nothing....

Under the re-seal label you can see instructions how to use it

You can just put the label like this and close most of it

The entree is a vacuum sealed bag containing freeze dried Pasta Provence meal

So let's start preparing stuff

Some items are prepared, so le't open the rest of it

Raisins, you get fair amount

They are packaged really good so the taste is still very nice

Oat biscuits

Choco protein bar has almost 40% of proteins

For some reason the package is already opened

Taste isn't bad it's still good and it has really strong chocolate taste

But it's really strange to find something like this already opened (The main bag is vacuumed so it preserved this choco bar despite the fact the bar wasn't sealed)

Let's try the coffee

Very strong and bitter coffee... as you can see the Scandinavians dislike coffee whiteners or milk powder or even sugar for the coffee so you don't get anything beside coffee itself

Hot chocolate - it's like freshly made with real milk

Oat biscuits are slightly sweet

The drink bag can be opened at the bottom so it can stand by itself... you also have a zip lock inside of it

Surprisingly strong peach flavor and it's really sweet. Very nice drink in very nice thought out package.

Parsta provence looks like this... you have some meat... you have some pasta....

The meat has texture like some rubber

Pasta and the sauce are really tasty and nice

And it was spiced just right

I'm not sure should I use the hot sauce, but let's try a little bit

It's not very hot, it just adds some vinegar taste to the meal

In my opinion it's better without the hot sauce, but at least you have a choice to use it or not

I'm still thinking about the weird situation with this choco protein bar

I ate half of it, despite the fact it was already opened... I hope I will not die.
