eBay is dying, and here is why! - Duration: 3:31.
It is late 2018 and maybe eBay is still not dead, but I think is safe to assume that eBay
cant keep with competition and slowly dying.
Actually I dont think that eBay is dying.
eBay It's committing suicide Hi, my name is Nikola and today I will explain
why eBay lost so much of market share.
Somehow, eBay managed to create issues with both, buyers and sellers.
From buyers perspective I used eBay in last 8 years and from seller perspective I used
eBay in last 3 years.
In both cases I have issues.
Ebay doesnt really have a seller protection program that actually works.
Is very easy for a buyer to open a request and complaining about anything, and eBay will
side with him a 99% of the time.
Other problems are fees.
eBay taking away 10% of each sale and PayPal taking away around 3%.
There may be additional fees for listing and money conversion, and realistically you will
pay at least 15% just in fees.
And that is a very high fee for something that doesnt give you any protection.
For example, sellers on Aliexpress dont pay fees and sellers on etsy pay only 4% fee.
Ebay really need to reconsider their fees if they want to keep up with the competition.
From the buyer side, things are even worse.
Now, the majority of sellers on eBay are Chinese sellers and they selling goods with suspicion
quality.
So ebay becomes like Aliexpress, but again, even worse.
Sellers who offer their services on both sites, on eBay their products are usually more expensive
because of higher fees, and processing time is longer because eBay is just alternative
for them, and their main store is on Aliexpress.
But the biggest problem on eBay are scammers.
And ebay is flooted with them.
I dont talk about buyers who will open request and complain about anything, I talking
about sellers who selling underprice items and they will just take the money and will
not ship the item.
And ebay is floated with this type of scammers.
When you search for some item, for example, a smartphone, in the first results will appear
a listing with very cheap price and seller will have very low feedback score.
If you check the seller feedback you can see that feedback is from buying, and not from
selling.
eBay need to stop showing feedback from buying because some buyers will think that they buying
from a store with good feedback, and in reality, they buying from a scammer.
And now you probably asking yourself why someone will do that when buyers can just open a request
and get money back.
Well yes, that is true, eBay will return their money if they never receive the item, but
they will actually refunded money will be from ebay or paypal, and not from the scammer.
The scammer will be probably a long far away with buyer money.
And this is very frustrating because you can accidentally find your self in this situation,
waiting for a long time for something to arrive and that product you ordered will never arrive.
Ebay is affected with this for years and they didnt care to solve this issues.
The didnt care for their buyers and for their sellers.
And this is kind of sad, because ebay was one of the e-commerce pioneers and in next
few years they may be a completely irrelevant.

Episode Ten: Here We Are - Duration: 7:49.
What do you mean you want me to rap? I am a white girl who was born in the 80s
I do not know how to rap.
Yeah, you know, Scout, we all love
what you're doing with this record here at the label? Everybody's into it the music and the comedy?
Wow. Really...
groundbreaking stuff
We're just missing a little something
What? White girl rap?
Vulnerability.
We have tons of that, later, when I cover -
Just talk more about being gay. Get out there and open it up
You know what? I mean openly gay. I'm openly gay everybody. Hey! Look at me!
I'm openly gay. Like that kind of thing.
More gay?
What are you talking about? I referenced my sexuality all the time.
Yeah, you do I guess
Yes, be more vulnerable, you know?
More emotionally open, you know?
Give us a love song... but a rap love song like, you know, like like LL used to do.
A love song?
Yuk. What are you my ex-girlfriend? Pass!
I do understand your apprehension.
I also understand you kind of contractually have to do what I tell you to do. So...
Go give it a shot, alright?
Fine. I will give it a whirl
But for the record, you may be an incredibly supportive artist friendly music label, but I am not your puppet!
Point taken. What is wrong with this goddamn thing? What is it? Did John?
John?
John?
ECHO: I am NOT your puppet
Scout
Durwood
Uh
Druwood
Yeah
Here we are
Doesn't matter who we are, just that you're here with me
There they go, thinking only they can know, when someone's love is real
They don't know, oh oh.
This sucks
You did one chorus get to a verse and then you can quit.
but-
Just go do it, please... do it, please?
Argh.
Oh, no, oh no, not a love song
You know, I don't believe in love songs.
Empty words, I don't believe
Forever mentioned thoughtlessly, nothing is authentic less it's constantly in flux.
The only feelings that are fixed
are one's we make believe so there's no such thing as love unless that love carries
a but
But love, but love, all we can be is honest, honestly...
Here we are
Doesn't matter who we are, just that you're here with
so it goes
Hoping everybody knows just what you mean to me you
You mean the world to me
They fear our love but we won't fear back
Your hand in my hand
Love songs feel like torture cause they're supposed to be sincere, it is easy to be scared
But it's hard to live in fear
I've never been more terrified when it is just you and I
You and me, me, stay with me, you and me
I love you in a human way imperfect, but it's smart. This is just a melody
I'd rather not pull itapart
Here we are
Doesn't matter who we are, just there you're here with me
All I know
Is no matter where go, you'll be a part of me
you're all of me
Hey, have you seen John?
Can't talk now... forgot my jacket
Your jacket? For what?
I'm heading into a bridge and it can get chilly on a bridge when you're trying to take a stand
What?
All my life I dreamed of having hers-and-her sinks with hers-and-hers robes, getting married in cufflinks
None of us are born with hate
It's a concept that we learned.
All of us are born with fear and then taught what poses a threat
So the only reason we hate anyone is that we're trying to survive
Imagine my surprise that horrifying year that I figured out I was gay and then had to be afraid that everyone who loved me
suddenly hated me now because of who I love,
which is complicated on its own because according to everyone i've dated
I'm emotionally unavailable
I don't want to take anything seriously, let alone something as overdone as love
which has been covered, relentlessly by all things popular culture. Still I will, cause I have to
I've been facedown on a curb, I've been taken out by words, and once you have been beaten, girl it's difficult to get hit on.
Hate is ugly, fucking ugly. For years I had to get up early to March for my legal right to get married
and the only thing I hate more than mornings
is commitment
so fuck you guys for your resistance.
fuck you for your inconsistence
I don't want to sing a song about what's obvious snd think it makes a difference
Love. Fall in love. And if you fall out just be a
good person. Your friends will be there to catch you. Love is a chemical reaction
no realer than the myths of linear time. I should win an award for this rap, because it's funny and it's smart
which is something comedy doesn't do anymore except for possibly on Netflix
Paul Rust has a show on Netflix. With Apatow. I've met them. Drop the chrous
Here We are
Doesn't matter who we are, just that you're here with me
I don't know how to thank you. You were right. I just needed to open my heart and everything else fell into place
No Scout I was wrong you were right
You're a terrible rapper
I am.
I can't tell if you're before the beat or too late or or you're not on it
Why don't we just cut the song? You know, I'm sorry. It was my idea. It was a stupid idea
Sometimes the ideas are dumb and they pop into your head and you don't know let's cut the song
No, you're right. Let's cut the song. Let's cut more songs. Let's do nothing
But gay anthems where I rap. We could make a gay anthem for every day of the Godess-damned year
Thank you so much for convincing me to do this. We gotta go. We gotta write more songs
Did you hit your head in the studio?
I am inspired. I am in love
It's shit.
We're a team. We've always been a team but
Scout: I'm full of ideas Joe:There's a beat and you're not on it.
Scout Rapping:My name is Scout and I gotta go. I'll write that second part later
That's not bad
John, where the fuck have you been?
It's the goddamn keyboard again

Here's What Happened To This True Blood Actress - Duration: 4:45.
Whatever happened to Anna Paquin after escaping all of the fangbangers, fairies, and werepanthers
of Bon Temps?
Here's a look at what she's been up to lately.
Small screen complications
After True Blood, Paquin booked a couple of TV guest roles, but it still took a few years
for her to return to the small screen in any regular capacity.
She took the lead in the 2017 Canadian series Bellevue, and while the show was well received
by critics, it was still canceled by CBC after just one season.
Paquin went on to star in Netflix's adaptation of Margaret Atwood's novel Alias Grace, but
it didn't receive the same fanfare as The Handmaid's Tale, another recent Atwood adaptation.
And since Alias Grace was billed as a limited series, there are few hopes of a second season
renewal.
In other words, while Paquin has continued to pursue work on the medium that made her
a household name, she hasn't yet enjoyed the type of breakout role she had with True Blood.
No healing power
Prior to True Blood, Paquin was perhaps best known for her work as Rogue in the X-Men film
series.
She starred in the original trilogy, and was among the cast members invited to come back
to the rebooted franchise for 2014's X-Men: Days of Future Past.
Unfortunately, her scenes were ultimately edited from the film's theatrical version
and only made it to screens by way of an expanded "Rogue Cut" assembled for home video.
Director Bryan Singer cited the film's length and crowded plot as his reasons for cutting
the scenes.
Being axed from a successful blockbuster certainly didn't help to elevate Paquin's profile, even
if some consider "The Rogue Cut" the best version of the film.
Pixar's rare miss
One year after Days of Future Past, Paquin starred as the tough T-rex Ramsey in Pixar's
The Good Dinosaur.
Despite the studio's long-running track record, the film was largely ignored by audiences
and given a comparatively ho-hum reception by critics as well.
"This is my personal bubble"
Paquin was hardly to blame for The Good Dinosaur's bad results, as the film's production was
famously fraught with problems.
Even so, suffering through two major letdowns while working on two large-scale studio films
had to be a bit demoralizing.
Fighting the mamarazzi machine
Another reason Paquin may have taken a step back from the spotlight in recent years is
that she's fiercely protective of her children, twins Charlie and Poppy.
She and her husband, True Blood co-star Stephen Moyer, welcomed the pair to the world in 2013,
and she's made a very concerted effort to guard their privacy.
"I mean they kinda get the concept, cause they'll see pictures of me or their dad, doing,
'daddy?'"
Considering Paquin started working at the age of nine, she's especially familiar with
how unkind the limelight can be for kids.
She told Today in 2018,
"You won't find any pictures of my children.
That's a choice we made very specifically.
I want the right to say that they're not fair game."
Another reason to advocate
In addition to sticking up for her little ones, Paquin has also been very vocal on her
own behalf.
In 2010, she publicly revealed that she's bisexual, appearing in a public service announcement
for the "Give a Damn" campaign alongside other celebrities to promote LGBTQ rights and awareness.
"Because one hate crime is committed approximately every hour of every day in this country."
Soon after, she found the subject coming up repeatedly in interviews, so she felt it was
important to help spread awareness for bisexuality on behalf of an oft-misunderstood community.
She's emerged as a major advocate for equal rights, promoting the NOH8 campaign alongside
her husband, who has openly supported her.
Reteaming with hubby
In 2014, Paquin and Moyer joined forces to start up their own production company, CASM
Films.
They landed in familiar territory almost immediately with a first-look development deal at HBO.
The endeavor might not have resulted in them reuniting for another romp through the mystical
wilderness, but the company has allowed them to explore some other territory.
2018's The Parting Glass was directed by Moyer, while Paquin, who co-produced, starred in
the picture.
It was based on a script from the pair's fellow True Blood alum, Denis O'Hare, who also appears
in the film.
The newest move for Paquin and CASM Films is a British television series called Flack,
which will feature her as an American public relations executive trying to hack it in London.
Like most of her recent TV work, the series is expected to be short, with an initial order
for just six episodes.
Returning to the big time
Although Paquin's been comparatively under the radar lately, that's likely to change
in the very near future.
She stars alongside Robert De Niro in Martin Scorsese's upcoming gangster drama The Irishman,
a project she's described as being directly in her wheelhouse.
In the film, Paquin portrays Peggy, daughter of Frank "The Irishman" Sheeran, the mafioso
who claimed to assassinate Jimmy Hoffa.
The film completed production in March 2018 and is expected to debut on Netflix in 2019.

Here are the defensive headaches Manchester United endure under Jose Mourinho - Duration: 7:13.
The problems currently engulfing Manchester United are widespread but it all starts with the back four
Jose Mourinho wanted defensive reinforcements in the summer and did not get them. Can a case be made for United's defence? Sportsmail finds out
The former Aston Villa left winger Ashley Young is Manchester United's current right-back and captain, which sums up where the club is at the moment
Right-back, like so many areas, remains an unsolved problem. When United paid £19m for Porto's Diogo Dalot in the summer, Mourinho declared that they had signed the best young right-back in Europe
The problem is that we have hardly seen him. While injury has hampered, Dalot has made just two appearances and so the jury must remain out
He was brought in to provide competition for Antonio Valencia, another converted winger
The 33-year-old ex-Wigan man has not been seen since the Valencia bore draw at the start of the month but Mourinho says that is down to complicated surgery 'on his mouth', rather than him liking an Instagram post calling for the manager's removal
Speaking of social media blunders, what of Matteo Darmian? The Italian, who bizarrely tweeted that he was looking forward to the Champions League just two days after a Champions League fixture (me neither) has not featured in the last 12 matches, despite being on the bench six times, and would appear to be on his way out
Word from Old Trafford is that Eric Bailly was a virtual unknown to the club's growing scouting department, and that he was something of a manager's special
While they would never say it publicly, officials may well think of Bailly when Mourinho is whinging about not being able to sign defensive targets in the summer
Despite a promising start the big Ivorian, who cost £30m from Villarreal in 2016, has not been a success
Bailly was last seen being unceremoniously hooked after just 19 minutes with United 2-0 down to Newcastle and Mourinho seemingly on the brink
Instead of bringing on Victor Lindelof, another firmly believed to be a Mourinho man, the manager introduced Juan Mata and dropped Scott McTominay into the back four in what represented a damning indictment of two of his own signings which pretty much underlined the current dysfunction
To his credit, Lindelof – a £31m summer arrival from Benfica - put in arguably his best performance in a United shirt in the Juventus defeat and showed signs that perhaps all is not lost
There is, however, a long way to go.Phil Jones is still only 26, which is difficult to believe, and appears to be at another crossroads
Last seen missing (and then getting dug out for) the penalty which saw United crash out of the EFL Cup at home to Derby, the former Blackburn man who reminded Sir Alex Ferguson of the great Duncan Edwards has endured a miserable season so far and injuries continue to stifle his progress
Chris Smalling is probably the only central defender at the club functioning anywhere near full capacity and has been a regular since making his bow in the 3-0 home thumping by Spurs
The Londoner, who joined the club back in 2010, would appear to be the only central defender that Mourinho can rely on, despite the new additions he has overseen
His budding partnership with Lindelof may well make or break United's year.Mourinho is right – reinforcements are needed – but if his signings had performed then that would not be the case
When United handed Luke Shaw a new, five-year contract earlier this month, they committed to paying him around £49
2m.Think about that figure for a moment. This is a player who, rightly or wrongly, has been accused of complacency in the past
How he will react to this largely unjustified windfall is yet to be seen.To his credit Shaw, who has had horrendous luck with injuries, has been one of few positives this season, giving glimpses that he may be about to fulfil the potential he showed at Southampton
Should that be the case, the left-back spot should not be an issue for United for many years to come
Should it not, then United are not exactly blessed with back-ups ready to seamlessly slot into the role, especially with Ashley Young currently filling in on the other side of defence
Mourinho was linked with a move for Juventus's Alex Sandro in the summer. What United were missing out on will not have gone unnoticed on Tuesday night

Summit Series Episode 1, "Why Are We Here" with Asher Brown - Duration: 8:28.
(audience clapping)
- Hey everybody.
Thank you for coming to the world's
first dairy free athlete summit.
We're here with an amazing group of
athletes,
experts,
and support team
to kick off the Switch4Good campaign
and transform the dairy-free movement.
I'm here like so many of you because of Dotsie.
To Dotsie, there's no such thing
as a challenge too hard or too ambitious.
The steeper the road, the faster she pedals.
Because of this, Dotsie has been incredibly
successful at everything she's done.
She started cycling at 26,
and won seven national championships.
She decided mid-career to drop meat and dairy
and won an Olympic silver medal.
She realized that to change the world,
athletes would have to organize,
and six months later here we are.
It doesn't matter that no one has ever
done this before.
We're doing it now.
The dairy industry has been sickening us
for generations.
Behind their marketing dollars,
and political power,
hides one of the greatest public health
crises of our time.
We are here to shine a light on this epidemic
and to lead a way towards a better future.
This is a fight that connects to
so many things in which we believe.
Big dairy is bad for our health.
It's bad for our communities.
It's bad for our children.
The dairy industry is one of the
leading drivers of climate change.
It's a roadblock in the path to food empowerment,
and an impediment to a more compassionate world.
By standing up to this powerful industry,
we are all fighting for social justice
and for better treatment of humans,
of animals,
and of our planet.
This is one cause to unite many.
One big step towards a better future.
And so our rallying cry,
cow's milk is not a health food.
We are here to speak out so that
the next generation of athletes
can grow up knowing the truth.
The Switch4Good movement began with Dotsie,
on her couch watching T.V.
The dairy industry and the USOC had joined forces
in a series of ads claiming that
cow's milk was an important part
of an Olympic diet,
which of course is not true.
Not even close.
Cow's milk is toxic.
It makes us sick.
Dr. Milton Mills,
and Dr. James Loomis are here
this weekend to talk about the connection
between dairy consumption,
and an increased risk of cancer,
diabetes,
osteoporosis,
heart disease,
and severe allergic reactions.
Dr. Heather Shenkman,
Dr. Vivian Chen,
Dr. Eric Sternlicht,
are here as well,
and will talk about the direct connection
between drinking diary and a decrease
in athletic performance due to fatigue,
slow recovery times,
loss of muscle mass,
and reduction in bone density.
The dairy industry may be right
that 9 out of 10 Olympic athletes grew up
drinking milk.
But that's because most of us didn't know
any better.
But we know better now.
And the number of athletes who drink
cow's milk is dropping fast.
We don't need dairy,
we don't need the cholesterol,
and we don't need the hormones,
and we don't need the antibiotics,
and we don't need the pesticides.
Many athletes used to drink cows milk,
just like many athletes used to smoke cigarettes.
But thanks to teachers like Rich Roll,
and David Carter,
and Heather Mills,
we learn and we change.
And more and more, or fans are changing too.
I saw this first hand traveling with race car
driver Leilani Münter,
as she brought plant based foods to the
NASCAR circuit.
Her fans are not your typical
kale and quinoa folks,
but Leilani speaks their language and
has earned their trust.
By helping them change their diets,
she's helping them change their lives.
This is work that we can all be doing.
The world is changing.
We are learning what a vital role
food plays in our performance,
and in our health.
Athletes are at the leading edge
of this dietary revolution.
And where you go,
others follow.
Each of you has been asked to come to this summit
because you are a leader.
Because people look up to you,
because when you speak, we listen.
And all of you came because you believe
that our advocacy is strongest
when we work together.
The dairy industry spends over
100 million dollars each year on
Got Milk style advertising.
They have lobbyists working to increase
cow's milk subsidies,
and scientists whose funding depends
on getting results they want.
They have political operatives skilled at
demanding special treatment,
and have no moral problems pushing
a dairy heavy diet into schools,
even as cow's milk is making our children sick.
The dairy industry has power,
the kind of power that only money can buy.
Well, we have power too.
And our power does not need to be bought.
Every day, we grow stronger.
Every day there are more of us,
backed by more science,
and with better organization.
Every day, we are louder.
And this is how we win.
We must tell our stories,
and we must share our knowledge,
and we must speak our truth.
Loudly.
No amount of dairy industry advertising
can compete with Olympic sprinter Malachi Davis
when he says, "I stopped drinking cow's milk,
and the next day, I ran faster."
Or with 6-time Olympic medalist Rebecca Soni
when she says that dropping cow's milk
made her terrible allergies go away.
Or with hall of fame soccer player Kara Lane,
when she talks about how motherhood
opened her eyes.
The dairy industry is built on propaganda,
and marketing.
We are here at this summit so Switch4Good
can be built on truth.
Our first attempt to share athletes stories
was a commercial broadcast on NBC during the
closing ceremonies of the winter games.
7 Olympic athletes came together
to tell the world,
cow's milk is not part of an Olympic diet.
Our video received overwhelming support
from our fans,
and from the press.
As expected, we got immediate pushback
from the diary industry,
and their partners at the USOC
who sought to pull our commercial from the air.
They wanted to make us go away,
to silence us.
But that's the funny thing about athletes,
if you're gonna start a fight,
you better be prepared.
Switch4Good is the greatest gathering
of dairy-free athletes,
experts,
and activists the world has ever seen.
Our goal this weekend,
is to refine our collective message,
and to work together to amplify our voice.
We must approach our advocacy in the same way
as we approach competition.
Set goals,
develop skills,
and work together with our teammates,
and our coaches.
The men and women here today are all at
different stages in our activism.
Some have traveled the world for years
speaking their truth.
Others, are just now beginning that journey.
But we're all here to help each other.
Please think of this summit like an
athlete run training camp.
There will talks and panel discussions
from some of the world's top experts
in dairy science and nutrition,
as well as ground-breaking activists athletes
sharing their stories.
Our incredible team extends beyond the walls
of this studio,
and out to the Switch4Good family
that has already begun to form on social media.
This community is at the heart of everything
Switch4Good does,
working together, we're using social media
to support,
to engage,
and to reach out.
We are organizing our followers for large scale
collective action.
Social media is the web connecting us
as we organize for a better world.
So please,

And please hashtag Switch4Good wherever you can,

This building has been my professional
and creative home for the past ten years.
