How to create a Travel Video - Pan & Tilt | Travelvids.tv - Duration: 2:06.
Quite often you're going to find yourself with a scene where you can't get it in with one shot
What you're going to have to do then is
Pan or tilt the pan is when you move the camera across horizontally
From left to right or vice versa, and a Tilt is when you do the same thing Up down
I'm just on my way walking up to Cape point
Out of breath I know for [a] fact. I'm not going to get Cape point in in one shot
So I'm going to have to do a tilt from the bottom to the top
There's one specific tip I want to give you about something which works for panning as well
But I'll do that when we get there
Okay, made it to the top when you're doing a pan or tools pick your start and end point
Don't just go randomly from here today
It needs to be efficient to about 4 seconds if it's longer than that then you kind of filming too much
so pick a rock or a tree or
Animal or whatever you're starting points is on the one side and move to accounts of four or five to the end [point]
all right, this will be my starting point and
This will be my end point over here alice comes for one and two and three and four
You can also go [diagonally] one and two and three and four
This will be my start point this will be my end point here. We go
One and [two] and three and four and that is all [you] need
How beautiful is that?

How to Make a Joey BadA$$ Boom Bap Type Beat In Logic Pro X | Beat Making Tutorial 2018 - Duration: 14:14.
You know what's going on guys we're back in Logic Pro X we're gonna make a beat. It's gonna be some boom bap
It's gonna be like aggressive. I'm thinking
Schoolboy Q. I'm thinking Joey badass. I'm thinking something grimy
Because the sample we got
It's like
Atmospheric and
mysterious, but also very dark and gloomy and
Yeah, so let's just jump right into this beat and see what we can do with it
All right first thing I want to do is when I heard this beat, it's got like a
It's got really cool like a major vocalist guy and a girl who's backing him up, right?
So what I want to do is I here's what we're gonna. Do we're going to
reverse the clip so I actually want to join these two together and
Create it
Create a file and we're gonna go in the file
so if you double-click you can go to a file you can go into functions you go into a reverse and
We're going to reverse that
so
Let's see how let's see what this does to it
Well cool
Alright, I want to speed it up, too
Cuz I want like a really fast pace
that actually feels really nice I
Wonder if I just so I'm gonna take this copy it and paste it on the next one and
Then I'm gonna I'm gonna tone down the pitch of it
Actually that that wasn't given the effect that I wanted I'll just try and pick another hi-hat I
Wanted to sound I
Wanted to sound like these two high hats like belong in the same family together
Cuz this sounds like one drum kit, and this sounds like a completely other drum kit. You know what we'll start with that actually
All right big snare my favorite part
Snare I hardly ever use collapse all right. We got our snares to choose from stick with that I
Like the first part of it, I might want to shorten it I like that
All right, let's start with something, let's get some let's get something on the board
All right all right, so I think we should we can start with just this beginning part
Let's start because we reversed it so all the vocal samples are
In the front where they used to be in the back
So I'm gonna mute that and we'll just start with the instrument no no vocals yet
All right, let's quantize it like half as much so instead of 16th. We'll do 8
Therefore I
Want you without a metronome
Sample actually sounds sick now and
Then I'll use the vocals like later on alright even more 150
Think the sample is starting a little awkwardly
Like it should start right here. Yeah, like that should be it
I cut that cut this and then double the sample twice and that should
Kind of make sense of it a little bit better
Get rid of that and then duplicate that
So I the sample was just a little weird cuz it started here it started at the one but it makes like
It makes sense sonically to hear the tone start at the low note
Do and then loop that cuz before it wasn't making any sense
And we were trying to do drums on a sample that wasn't making any sense
In which it was in the pattern
What's going on with my high hats why can't they push up push up to here come on
Alright let's uh, copy this paste it a little bit
Paste in the wrong spot, I'll cut come on bruh
There we go yeah there we go, let's get that
All right, so we got two different ones that we can roll with we got two
Different drum patterns the first one or the second one. I'm not sure which one. I like more
We'll stick with the first one
All right, you know what this needs
So instead of just hitting this over and over again. I'm actually using the the low tone that I was editing before
To kind of give it like I did at that
And that makes it more dynamic and gives us some more death I
Mean it doesn't always work, but I like the first beginning part. Let's just cut the second half and
You split it. Yeah, well, don't split. It. Just okay, okay, okay?
And then we'll just join this
Let's mess with this sample a little bit cuz I feel like we can at least EQ it maybe
It's got some weird noises in it
You know what I'm gonna try
Alright, I'm gonna. Give this a try. I'm gonna try side-chaining the kick-drum
to duck the sample
so
Alright alright, I practiced this a little while, but let's let's see if we can do it
All right, let's get this kick by itself
So I'm gonna do that
Make one of these and then just only do like the snare over
Here I'll delete the kick and then here's what I want to do I want to I
Should I even do this dude am I even gonna do it, right?
I'll leave it for next time
All right
Probably find some interesting ways to make this sample pop out more
Wide that sounds sick
That sounds tight I like that and then maybe you'll just throw something else weird on it like oh, I want to I
Want to change the pitch?
See if that might enhance it
So here's regular
All right negative one
I
Want to cut the highs out because they're a little obnoxious
All right, what's really gonna give this some volume?
Maybe I don't know man
Yeah
Yeah, give it some give us some distortion to make it kind of buzz
So no Distortion
The drums aren't really well-mixed to the actual beat though
What am I eating right now, what's happening, I don't hear any change. I don't hear any difference in this
Nice
Very cool all right guys. I like how this is ending up right now. This sample is definitely something unique
All right guys that's gonna do it for this video. Thank you so much for watching

How we can teach computers to make sense of our emotions | Raphael Arar - Duration: 11:20.
Translator: Ivana Korom Reviewer: Joanna Pietrulewicz
I consider myself one part artist and one part designer.
And I work at an artificial intelligence research lab.
We're trying to create technology
that you'll want to interact with in the far future.
Not just six months from now, but try years and decades from now.
And we're taking a moonshot
that we'll want to be interacting with computers
in deeply emotional ways.
So in order to do that,
the technology has to be just as much human as it is artificial.
It has to get you.
You know, like that inside joke that'll have you and your best friend
on the floor, cracking up.
Or that look of disappointment that you can just smell from miles away.
I view art as the gateway to help us bridge this gap between human and machine:
to figure out what it means to get each other
so that we can train AI to get us.
See, to me, art is a way to put tangible experiences
to intangible ideas, feelings and emotions.
And I think it's one of the most human things about us.
See, we're a complicated and complex bunch.
We have what feels like an infinite range of emotions,
and to top it off, we're all different.
We have different family backgrounds,
different experiences and different psychologies.
And this is what makes life really interesting.
But this is also what makes working on intelligent technology
extremely difficult.
And right now, AI research, well,
it's a bit lopsided on the tech side.
And that makes a lot of sense.
See, for every qualitative thing about us --
you know, those parts of us that are emotional, dynamic and subjective --
we have to convert it to a quantitative metric:
something that can be represented with facts, figures and computer code.
The issue is, there are many qualitative things
that we just can't put our finger on.
So, think about hearing your favorite song for the first time.
What were you doing?
How did you feel?
Did you get goosebumps?
Or did you get fired up?
Hard to describe, right?
See, parts of us feel so simple,
but under the surface, there's really a ton of complexity.
And translating that complexity to machines
is what makes them modern-day moonshots.
And I'm not convinced that we can answer these deeper questions
with just ones and zeros alone.
So, in the lab, I've been creating art
as a way to help me design better experiences
for bleeding-edge technology.
And it's been serving as a catalyst
to beef up the more human ways that computers can relate to us.
Through art, we're tacking some of the hardest questions,
like what does it really mean to feel?
Or how do we engage and know how to be present with each other?
And how does intuition affect the way that we interact?
So, take for example human emotion.
Right now, computers can make sense of our most basic ones,
like joy, sadness, anger, fear and disgust,
by converting those characteristics to math.
But what about the more complex emotions?
You know, those emotions
that we have a hard time describing to each other?
Like nostalgia.
So, to explore this, I created a piece of art, an experience,
that asked people to share a memory,
and I teamed up with some data scientists
to figure out how to take an emotion that's so highly subjective
and convert it into something mathematically precise.
So, we created what we call a nostalgia score
and it's the heart of this installation.
To do that, the installation asks you to share a story,
the computer then analyzes it for its simpler emotions,
it checks for your tendency to use past-tense wording
and also looks for words that we tend to associate with nostalgia,
like "home," "childhood" and "the past."
It then creates a nostalgia score
to indicate how nostalgic your story is.
And that score is the driving force behind these light-based sculptures
that serve as physical embodiments of your contribution.
And the higher the score, the rosier the hue.
You know, like looking at the world through rose-colored glasses.
So, when you see your score
and the physical representation of it,
sometimes you'd agree and sometimes you wouldn't.
It's as if it really understood how that experience made you feel.
But other times it gets tripped up
and has you thinking it doesn't understand you at all.
But the piece really serves to show
that if we have a hard time explaining the emotions that we have to each other,
how can we teach a computer to make sense of them?
So, even the more objective parts about being human are hard to describe.
Like, conversation.
Have you ever really tried to break down the steps?
So think about sitting with your friend at a coffee shop
and just having small talk.
How do you know when to take a turn?
How do you know when to shift topics?
And how do you even know what topics to discuss?
See, most of us don't really think about it,
because it's almost second nature.
And when we get to know someone, we learn more about what makes them tick,
and then we learn what topics we can discuss.
But when it comes to teaching AI systems how to interact with people,
we have to teach them step by step what to do.
And right now, it feels clunky.
If you've ever tried to talk with Alexa, Siri or Google Assistant,
you can tell that it or they can still sound cold.
And have you ever gotten annoyed
when they didn't understand what you were saying
and you had to rephrase what you wanted 20 times just to play a song?
Alright, to the credit of the designers, realistic communication is really hard.
And there's a whole branch of sociology,
called conversation analysis,
that tries to make blueprints for different types of conversation.
Types like customer service or counseling, teaching and others.
I've been collaborating with a conversation analyst at the lab
to try to help our AI systems hold more human-sounding conversations.
This way, when you have an interaction with a chatbot on your phone
or a voice-based system in the car,
it sounds a little more human and less cold and disjointed.
So I created a piece of art
that tries to highlight the robotic, clunky interaction
to help us understand, as designers,
why it doesn't sound human yet and, well, what we can do about it.
The piece is called Bot to Bot
and it puts one conversational system against another
and then exposes it to the general public.
And what ends up happening is that you get something
that tries to mimic human conversation,
but falls short.
Sometimes it works and sometimes it gets into these, well,
loops of misunderstanding.
So even though the machine-to-machine conversation can make sense,
grammatically and colloquially,
it can still end up feeling cold and robotic.
And despite checking all the boxes, the dialogue lacks soul
and those one-off quirks that make each of us who we are.
So while it might be grammatically correct
and uses all the right hashtags and emojis,
it can end up sounding mechanical and, well, a little creepy.
And we call this the uncanny valley.
You know, that creepiness factor of tech
where it's close to human but just slightly off.
And the piece will start being
one way that we test for the humanness of a conversation
and the parts that get lost in translation.
So there are other things that get lost in translation, too,
like human intuition.
Right now, computers are gaining more autonomy.
They can take care of things for us,
like change the temperature of our houses based on our preferences
and even help us drive on the freeway.
But there are things that you and I do in person
that are really difficult to translate to AI.
So think about the last time that you saw an old classmate or coworker.
Did you give them a hug or go in for a handshake?
You probably didn't think twice
because you've had so many built up experiences
that had you do one or the other.
And as an artist, I feel that access to one's intuition,
your unconscious knowing,
is what helps us create amazing things.
Big ideas, from that abstract, nonlinear place in our consciousness
that is the culmination of all of our experiences.
And if we want computers to relate to us and help amplify our creative abilities,
I feel that we'll need to start thinking about how to make computers be intuitive.
So I wanted to explore how something like human intuition
could be directly translated to artificial intelligence.
And I created a piece that explores computer-based intuition
in a physical space.
The piece is called Wayfinding,
and it's set up as a symbolic compass that has four kinetic sculptures.
Each one represents a direction,
north, east, south and west.
And there are sensors set up on the top of each sculpture
that capture how far away you are from them.
And the data that gets collected
ends up changing the way that sculptures move
and the direction of the compass.
The thing is, the piece doesn't work like the automatic door sensor
that just opens when you walk in front of it.
See, your contribution is only a part of its collection of lived experiences.
And all of those experiences affect the way that it moves.
So when you walk in front of it,
it starts to use all of the data
that it's captured throughout its exhibition history --
or its intuition --
to mechanically respond to you based on what it's learned from others.
And what ends up happening is that as participants
we start to learn the level of detail that we need
in order to manage expectations
from both humans and machines.
We can almost see our intuition being played out on the computer,
picturing all of that data being processed in our mind's eye.
My hope is that this type of art
will help us think differently about intuition
and how to apply that to AI in the future.
So these are just a few examples of how I'm using art to feed into my work
as a designer and researcher of artificial intelligence.
And I see it as a crucial way to move innovation forward.
Because right now, there are a lot of extremes when it comes to AI.
Popular movies show it as this destructive force
while commercials are showing it as a savior
to solve some of the world's most complex problems.
But regardless of where you stand,
it's hard to deny that we're living in a world
that's becoming more and more digital by the second.
Our lives revolve around our devices, smart appliances and more.
And I don't think this will let up any time soon.
So, I'm trying to embed more humanness from the start.
And I have a hunch that bringing art into an AI research process
is a way to do just that.
Thank you.
(Applause)

How Mindfulness Helps Stress - 4 Ways to Do It - Duration: 6:53.
I'm Dr. Tracey Marks a psychiatrist and in this video I'll be talking about
mindfulness meditation and how to practice it. Mindfulness is simply paying
attention to your environment activities and thoughts in a neutral and
non-judgmental way. So you're limiting your thoughts to your
present situation. if other thoughts intrude on this process, you bring your
attention back to the present. for example, if you're mowing the grass, think
about the things that you see, smell, hear and taste and feel while you're cutting
the grass. Ideally avoid thinking about your unpaid
bills, your relationship issues, the past, the future. You only want what is
happening in the present moment. Pacticing mindfulness helps declutter
your mind. When your mind gets cluttered you feel stressed and this can come in
the form of feeling tense, tired, overwhelmed, irritable. Not only can this
affect you negatively but it can also affect your relationships with the
people most important to you. If your mind is overloaded. you can become
emotionally unavailable and not fully engaged with the people around you. this
is what happens when you're having a conversation with someone and you don't
remember any of the details of what they said because you were thinking about
your to-do list. in the short-term the person on the receiving end knows you're
not listening; in the long-term, you miss time with that person that you can't get
back. so how do you remedy this problem when you have a busy life that you can't
change? You live each moment mindfully. Now you don't need a meditation pillow
or hot stones to do this. You simply need to purposely focus on what you're doing
at any given moment and block out everything else. And this doesn't have to
take a long time and a little goes a long way. You can do this while you're
waiting in a traffic light. For example where do you keep your phone when you're
driving? Do you pull it out to check messages when you're waiting
for the light to turn green? Instead of doing that. take in the glory of your
surroundings. What if it's just a bunch of cars in traffic? There's got to be
some nice cars to look at but look at the trees and the buildings in front of you.
Think about how these things were created. Even if it's an ugly building
it's someone's architectural creation. Many people worked hard on that building.
If you're running an errand or like buying groceries for example instead of
thinking about all the things that you need to do after you leave the store
take in the environment. Notice the lighting in the store, the temperature of
the room the sounds of the people talking. How many credit card machines do
you hear. That's an example of being fully present in the moment instead of
being there physically while your mind is on other things.
Now I focused on how mindfulness helps your mind and how you relate to people
but mindful eating is a way to control your eating. So instead of watching
television and checking emails while you're eating, focus on the texture of
the food, the aroma, the taste. Think about how long how many times you have to chew
the food until you can get it to the point where you can swallow it. Now you
may think I don't have time for that but in reality, slowing how you eat may only
add another 10 minutes to your meal and the time you spend at traffic lights may
only be about 5 minutes in total. And what did you gain in that five minutes?
Whatever it is, it's at the expense of letting your mind run full steam ahead.
So what's the problem with thinking too much? Your mind doesn't rest but your
mind needs to rest. If your mind is too busy all day it will get overstimulated
and then you'll have trouble falling asleep at night. Now you may say well, if
you're thinking about the present moment you're still thinking. Well yes
but it's controlled thinking that you deliberately make positive and neutral.
So here's an example of uncontrolled thinking. Let's say you're working at
your computer and you look out the window and you see a delivery truck
drive by and the truck reminds you of one that collects money. Then you
remember that you need money to put in your child's bag this morning not sure
if you did that and then that makes you think about your child's tooth pain and
wonder if it's going to be a huge dental bill. Then you remember you need to
research the insurance exchange because your Cobra benefit benefits expire at
the end of the month and you hear that the average deductible is $5,000 will it
cover your wife's expensive blood pressure medicine. Now you're stressed
out and aggravated and all this came from glancing outside and seeing a truck.
Mindful observation of that truck would be to notice the glossy paint on the
truck and whether or not it's driving fast or slow. Is the pavement wet is
the sun shining? These are simple observations of the
environment that are neutral and not connected to any unpleasant aspects of
your life. Here are four steps to start practicing
mindfulness. number one be aware. this means to be aware of everything in your
environment as well as everything that you're doing and thinking. Keep your focus
on the present moment. number two don't multitask do one thing at a time.
You're actually more efficient if you complete one thing at a time anyway.
Number three be intentional with mundane tasks. Be focused on the task rather than
getting the task over with. So if you're washing dishes, focus on washing each
dish and keep repeating that thought until all the dishes are washed. If you
wash the dishes while you're thinking about how much you hate washing dishes,
you'll still get the dishes washed but - but when you do it mindfully you finish
with less negativity. number four listen when other
people are talking. don't think about your to-do list or what you're gonna say
next. Listen to every word the person says as
if you're you need to repeat it back to them. I challenge you to spend ten
minutes each day in mindful activity. you may want to do it toward the end of the
day when your mind is the most full and see if it helps you unwind and
relax. Leave me a comment about your experience thanks for watching.

How to Make Chinese Turnip Cake (蘿蔔糕) - Duration: 7:18.
Hello. Welcome to Mrs. Lin's Kitchen.
Today I'm going to show you
how to make the Chinese Turnip Cake, or Lo Bak Gou in Cantonese.
It is often serve in the Dim Sum restaurant
Lo Bak Gou also carries the symbol of prosperity and rising fortune
so it is often eaten for Chinese New Year's.
Since the list of ingredients are simple and
quite easy to make
people eat it all year round anyway
Lo Bak means turnip
and Gou means cake
so, obviously, the major ingredient is the turnip
Other ingredients are also added to zest up the flavor
Today, I'm going to show you my version of Chinese Turnip Cake
So let's get started!
Here is ingredients overview.
Make sure you use rice flour not glutinous rice flour for this recipe.
You can leave out the shrimp and Chinese sausage
to make this cake vegetarian
To pick a fresh turnip, make sure the turnip has a smooth surface
with no dark spots or bruises.
If the turnip feels firm, the inside is crunchy.
If the turnip is heavy, it is juicy
If there are leaves attached to the turnip
make sure they're green and firm, not wilted.
Wilted leaves indicate that the turnip has already passed its prime
I used the Taiwanese sausage because it's softer.
but you can use any Chinese sausage sold at the Asian supermarket
First, soak the dried shiitake mushroom in two and a 3/4 cups of water
for 1 to 2 hours and soak the dried shrimp in 1/4 cup of water for 30 minutes
When the time is up, squeeze water out of the mushroom and shrimp
Remember to save both of the juice for later use
Finely mince the shiitake mushrooms and the dry shrimp
Chop the ingredients as finely as you can
to get a smoother texture for the cake
If the ingredients are too big
the overall texture will not be as desirable
Next, thinly slice the shallot.
You'll need to measure one cup of shallot
To prepare the turnip, rinse off the surface and
peel the skin with a vegetable peeler
Using a vegetable grater or a mandolin shredder,
thinly shred the turnip
If you want more texture coming from the turnip
grate it more coarsely
In this video, I used two different shredding blades to
create both coarsely and finely grated daikon for my cake
Next, finely chop the Chinese sausage
Saute the shallott with 2 tbsp of oil
Continuously stir the shallot in the pan to make sure it turns brown and crispy but not burn
When the shallot is fragrant, take it out.
In the same pan, pour in the mushroom
and saute on medium-high heat until fragrant
Then add the shrimp
Next add the sausage and give them some good stirs.
Add soy sauce, sugar, salt, white pepper into the mixture
and stir them well
Pour in shredded turnip and fried shallot
with one cup of liquid from soaking the mushrooms
Mix well everything together
Cook the turnip mixture at medium low heat for 20 minutes
Remember to stir the radish occasionally
so the turnip doesn't get burnt
Cook until it becomes soft and transparent
The daikon will also produce some liquid
While the radish is cooking, let's make the flour batter
In the large bowl, mix 1/2 pound of rice flour
with 1/4 cup of corn starch and add one and a 3/4 cup of water
you can use the liquify soaking dry mushroom and dry shrimp instead
Combine the mixture until there is no lump
Oil the foil tins
When the turnip is cooked, turned off the heat
and pouring the rice flour mixture
Start mixing everything together
Next, transfer this mixture to the foil tins
Remember to flatten the surface of the cake
Prepare your steamer and steam the turnip cake
for 45 minutes to an an hour
Check the steamer occasionally to make sure it has enough water
Replenish with hot water as needed
After 45 minutes use a bamboo stick to check for doneness
if nothing sticks on to the stick, the turnip cake is ready.
Let the cake cool down for several hours or preferably overnight before serving
The cake can be kept in the refrigerator for up to one week
After this cake has cool off, you can eat it as is
by cutting it into three-quarter inch thick
I prefer frying it to give it a crispy surface
If you cut the cake too thin, it will break apart when frying.
Oil you pan and fry the cake on both sides
until golden and crispy
So, here is a Lo Bak Gou or Chinese Turnip Cake
It tastes good during any time of the day at snack or a main meal
I like to eat it as brunch during the weekend
and accompany with some hot tea
Lo Bak Gou always tastes good with soy sauce
or you can customize your sauce by mixing
siracha, soy sauce, black rice vinegar, hot chili oil or sesame oil
All the tools and tableware that I use in this video are
available on our website MrsLinsKitchen.com if you're interested

MANGA SENPAI STRIKES [9] Ma | How to make manga by Japanese manga-ka - Duration: 5:28.
OK, let's start making manga!
Today's topic is
Yesterday, no, Previously,
The previous topic is oblique frames.
Now you guys would be able to layout Koma freely.
You make Komas,
then what you consider after Komawari?
The second step. You make Komas and make Fukidashi(balloons).
But today's topic is not balloons.
Not Fukidashi.
This is it. The Koma without balloon.
What is the Koma without Fukidashi?
In Japanese manga, there are a lot of Koma without Fukidashi.
Often there are no Fukidashi Koma.
Then what the Koma for? This is a quite difficult question.
We call this "Ma".
What the blaze is MA?
That's what I should talk today.
The conception of Ma.
This is extremely difficult to explain.
But at least, I can tell you
to describe Ma, we use Koma with no balloons.
There are some exceptions, for example...
"......" dotted line to describe silence, "!" exclamation mark and question mark, and An interjeciton like "Ah..."
They can be included in Koma of Ma, but basically, no one speak in the Koma.
Then what the hell is Ma?
It is "Nothing". "Zero".
What the hell am I saying?
The original idea of Ma.
For example.
Imagine two poles standing.
There is a space between the poles.
We call the space Ma originally.
There is nothing. The space with nothing.
We call it Ma.
In the first place, we call the space Ma, or Aida also.
Aida means "between".
To make a blank space is an important aspect of Japanese style manga.
Maybe this is the one of characteristics of Japanese style manga.
I believe foreign comics have less description of Ma compared with Japanese style manga.
like American comics,
and Bande desinee of France. In my opinion.
Few expression of Ma compared with Japanese manga.
Why so?
Actually, Japanese people take Ma also in real life.
Japanese people tend to take a pause after they speak.
Culturally we do so.
It is Japanese culture.
There are some good reasons to applying this Ma in manga.
Western people tend to speak quicker than Japanese people do.
You talk a lot.
And the other people start speaking immediately after someone spoke.
But in Japanese way, after a person spoke,
we take Ma.
And then other person speaks.
We do this mutually.
Compared with foreign people.
My Spanish friend told me
if you take Ma in foreign country, it seems like what they told is bombed.
Like he left others cold.
He told me that it scares people and so they speak without blank.
Japanese people generally do not care of it. That's what he told me.
The Spanish friend said the Japanese style is more comfortable for him.
Because he is a gentle, quiet guy.
For him it is easier to talk in Japanese way.
And I leant the difference between the culture.
So Japanese people care of if there is Ma or not, or the length of Ma.
So by using this idea in making manga, we can broad our expression...
But also manga in old days did not have many expression of Ma.
The manga like "Astro Boy"
by THE GREAT MANGA ARTIST, Teduka Osamu.
The manga in the period have less expression of Ma.
Today's manga is expressing the real life conversation by using the idea of Ma.
The natural way of speaking...
Today's manga tries to describe it.
Tries to reproduce the time we experiencing.
I'm talking mess...
That's what today's manga want to express.
It brings the manga more reality.
Then we feel like the characters more realistic and feel their emotions...
That's the point to make your manga today's Japanese style.
So we want to use Ma. To bring the sense of reality to manga world.
To make manga more realistic.
Actually.
I believe there is the sense of Ma also in foreign country.
I believe there is it.
For example, a powerful scene.
Like someone killed. Like a friend is dead.
Like that. This is Ma.
The idea is understandable to foreign people I believe.
Maybe Japanese people aware of the Ma in every single lines.
That's the characteristics of Japanese manga...
So you can use it to make Japanese manga.
To make more Japanese style manga.
Well, I'm wondering what is the concept of Ma...
It's difficult to put the idea into the words.
Also for Japanese people.
But it is important.
Today's summary.
Using Koma with silence, Ma, is important for Japanese manga expression.
It makes your manga more realistic.
It tells what your characters feel more realistic.
Then...

How to Make an Overhand Knot for Macrame - Duration: 1:10.
So let's review on how to do an Overhand Knot.
So all you're just gonna do is that your strand is gonna come down towards you and you're gonna take the other
strand and you're going to cross it over like so.
So it almost looks like the letter E.
Now you're going to take this strand and come up through the middle of this. So just lift us up nicely and insert
the strand through and bring it out towards the top of the other one just like you see.
And then when you're ready just pull on it.
So let me get that set up and show you one more time. So you're gonna lay it down and
you'll keep it in front and
that's over top of this strand and then you're just gonna take this strand
just lift us up and come up through the middle and
then when you're ready you can just secure it like this. This is an Overhand Knot.

How to make Prawn (Shrimp) Cutlets ? | Shrimp patties | Shrimp Cakes | Tamil - Duration: 6:32.
Hi guys!!
My name is Jennifer.
Today's video is about How to make Prawn or Shrimp cutlets?
It is a simple, easy but delicious and tasty recipe.
try this and 100% it will turn out good as there are no rooms for error.
The most important item are the prawns or shrimps.
I have bought already cooked shrimps.
grind it in blender.
I have taken 1 large onion and chopped it tiny and I'm currently frying the onions in a pan.
you may wonder why so many onions for cutlet? but the secret is onions if fried
properly will enhance the taste of any recipe.
Now the onions have turned golden brown.. next let's add ginger & garlic paste (1 and
a half tbsp), also add 1/2 spoon turmeric powder.
After 2 minutes, add 1 tbsp chilli powder, 2 tbsp coriander powder & 1/2 a
spoon Garam masala. you would have noticed that I have not added water, its because there
should be no water content in the patty while frying in order to hold the cutlet together.
Now you can see that the prawns and the masala has been fried.
Now is the right time to adjust the salt and spices in the masala to your taste.
I have already boiled and mashed 1 large potato.
Add everything to a large bowl and mix well.
I have taken egg white, I make the masala into a patty and dip in egg white to shallow fry.
