Hi I'm Lisa from Active Domestics and a couple of weeks ago I actually cleaned the
inside of my oven but there was a couple of things that I missed doing. I didn't
quite complete the job. So I'm going to do that today
and that as you can see through here there's still streaks and stuff that you
can see on there and what that is, is all the stuff that's built in. There's two
bits of glass in here and a lot of that dirt is actually sort of and grease is
trapped in there. So first of all before you do anything with the oven you want
to get yourself some old rags and put them on the floor for any drips. Absolutely
particularly if your clients got wooden floors down here you want to really
think ahead and protect the floors. Now with this it's basically a Phillips head
screwdriver for this one and you're just going to undo these bits here. See I'm
not very good at using a screwdriver and that just doesn't come all the way out..it just loosens it....
yes it does come all the way out. There you go.
So you can see actually how greasy that is just through my hands and of course
one of the best things for grease is usually you know some kind of a
detergent or something like that so I'm actually not using gloves here
because I don't want to accidentally
drop that and actually I'm going to need a knife first to get that out (Excuse me)
I just need the knife to lift that up ever so carefully. It really takes a lot of the
weight off actually but you can see where the build up is all along there
and look at it that's disgusting..all the drips and all the drips along here.
So anyway I'm going to take that over here. This is the side that's dirty. I'm just going to give it a good
spray with some.. I'm just using a natural product by Green Addict called the
Grease Muncher and I'm just gonna really spray it on and let the product sit for a
little while before I wash that off so it can really have time to work you can
see it's starting to move that grease already and I'm also going to spray down here look
Oh Yuk! Look at that! at that I just...okay maybe I've got this spray on on the wrong setting or something, okay
so I've got more cleaning to do... so just to leave this sit for a little while
keeps wanting to sit up ....so that's pretty gross
see how about dripping down there now if we didn't have if you were using some
sort of toxic cleaning chemicals and you didn't have anything to protect the
floor then that's going to be a real problem. That's not a toxic one, now
that's a cleaning product that's made with essential oils and natural very
natural products so I know it's not going to cause any damage but I'm still
just going to let that sit for a while. I'll give it a good old wash up and then we'll
come back at the end and see how we're going ,.. so Paul, if you want to press pause ..
So that Grease Muncher did a really good job of it in here and make sure you get make sure you
clean right around these bits actually where the screws and that go because
that's sort of what leaves a gap sometimes that actually allows all that
dirt to get in so you can see that's actually come up perfectly. It came up really well
and then basically make sure you wipe all the way down there as well because
the drips you can see how much better that is and I've still got the other bit
of glass over here that I'm going to need to just put give it a little bit
more of a scrub and a bit more of a soak to get some of these other bits off it's
a lot better but while I've got it off I'm going to actually try and and make
it as good as I possibly can so we'll check in at the end when I'm finished
and and you can see I've given these a nice clean and there they're all clean
and ready to to go back on.. so I'm just going to use a little bit more product
I'm gonna use a Magic Eraser and just give it a little bit more of a work
over and see how good I can get it. So check in with you soon.
Right so I've been scrubbing away with
this I have tried a
Magic Eraser .. I'm actually one thing I want to mention too is that when you're
doing something like this I mean obviously the biggest thing here is that
I don't want to break this so I've got to think ahead
and I'm constantly moving my tap fixture out of the way so I'm not going to
accidentally sort of lift it up and bang it and break it and anyway so it's just
bit by bit and I just wanted to quickly show you what I'm doing I mean I'm not
going to tape me doing this the whole the whole way I'm just putting some more
of this product on here and and basically it's just takes time you
Can you see quite closely there Paul how it is actually coming up?
(That's my button banging into the glass)
like I said I'm not using harsh chemicals so I'm not wearing any
gloves but if you're wearing using the harsh chemicals while you're doing this
of course you would be wearing gloves you just have to be extra careful that
you don't actually break it or it slips through your fingers or something
like that ...so it's getting pretty darn close. It's getting close.
just keep turning it over and scrubbing it. It's hard to tell sometimes which side
it's on but yeah it's coming up look it's really coming up so anyway while
I'm scrubbing I just want to say thanks to everyone who's been watching my
videos and giving me encouragement I'm trying to get to get better at my
editing and get better at my taping.. it takes time and if anyone has any
suggestions as to things that they would like me to make videos of or stuff like
that just let me know but yeah this is how I spend my Sundays...Yay it's fun! My
husbands here's trying to watch his Bellator fight but I keep dragging him
over here too..he's missing it now lol
okay so I'm just gonna keep going again try and get these last little bits and
you can see that looks so much better and very soon I'm going to very
carefully put it back and hope like heck I don't drop it in the process and smash it
So I've scrubbed this.. I don't know it's probably taking me about 5-10 minutes something
like that and it's just been a matter of keep turning it over and sometimes
I've used my fingernails to detect whether it's on one side or the other
yeah I'm just giving it a good old rinse. This is quite good.. you don't want to use anything harsh
because if you scrub something that you know like a steel pad or something like
that you might actually scratch the glass and if you do
scratch the glass then you're just going to give more grooves and stuff inside
the glass for the dirt to stick to stick to. So you can see that's pretty good. I'm
really happy with that. Give it a good old rinse. There's maybe one or two bits I haven't got but that's good enough for me.
So the careful part ..you want to make sure it's dry and that you're not going
to drop it. It fits on both ways so it doesn't matter which way you put it.
Giving that a good old wipe. Turn that around
That's pretty good I reckon. So carefully I'm gonna bring my bits ... That keeps flicking up.... Carefully pop it back in it's slot.
That makes it easier (it can stay down now) and then we just have to screw it back on
Get that back into it's little hole first. It's got these little rubber bits to keep everything in place
And whollah. A job well done. I've actually the last couple of times I've cleaned this oven I
haven't quite gotten to this stage yet. I've kind of cleaned the oven and then
thought yeah I'll get around to doing that and of course didn't but you want
to try to put like with all screws you don't them do them too tight otherwise
might cause problems and then whollah! It looks a lot better! I probably could have
made it a little bit more dryer in there so what I'm actually going to do is undo
them and dry it again but you don't have to see this part it's just because I
want to do this really good because I know it's probably going to be about a
year or two before I do do this job again so I'll say goodbye thank you for
watching and catch you later

Episode 179: How to Trade Bearish Engulfing Pattern - Best Candlestick Patterns - Trading Strategy - Duration: 4:34.
welcome to another episode after 10,000 trade show review mastering trading and
creating excellence through the deliberate practice and analysis of
10,000 trades in this episode we are going to look at a bearish engulfing
trade setup a bearish engulfing trade setup is an easy to identify trade setup
it's a reversal pattern and we're looking for price to drop a once we see
this setup so let's go onto the charts and we'll take a look at how to identify
this trade setup we're to enter the trade where to place our stop loss and
as always how to exit the trade with a profit
here we are looking at a bearish engulfing trade setup this is euro yen
one-hour chart a bearish engulfing candle is one that takes over or engulfs
the previous price action so this is our parish engulfing candle this is a
bearish trade setup which means we're looking for price to move lower after
this point so generally will find this bearish engulfing candle at a support
and resistance level as we can see price has reacted at this level before and
once price gets into this level we get this bearish engulfing candle which
means there are no more buyers left and prices willing to move lower because the
sellers have stepped in right now so after we get this candle we look for a
bit of a pullback or you can take an entry at the close of this candle our
stop would go above this previous high just in case price decides to come and
test this level once again and we stay with the trade for as long as prices
moving lower here we see that price tries to push lower but then we have
price coming back and closing above our pivot point level here which is our s3
pivot point level and here we can also see that prices into the next support or
resistance area so this is a good time for us to close our trade out from entry
to exit here we get 90 pips in our trade so just to recap a bearish engulfing
trade setup is where we see a bearish engulfing candlestick formed at an
important support and resistance level we look for this candlestick once we see
the candlestick we look for price to move lower so we enter the trade short
here our stop would go above the previous highs here and we stay with the
trade for as long as prices moving lower once we see that price comes into the
next support and resistance level we get a bullish candle close here and price is
not able to hold below our s3 pivot level here we can exit the trade from
entry to exit we get 90 pips in our trade so our profit is 90 pips or $900

How to Round Time in Excel - Tutorial - Duration: 2:44.
Hi. In this Excel tutorial, we'll go over how you can round time in Excel. There are various reasons why you may need to round time,
but, a common use is to round time worked – like when you clock in and clock out.
So, in this example, we'll round time to the nearest 15 minutes and to the nearest hour. And, by the way, if you enjoy this tutorial, don't
forget to Like the video and subscribe to the channel for even more tips.
Excel has a few rounding functions, but, we're going to use MROUND for this example because I like how it's able to round up or
round down to whatever multiple we want to use.
So, typing =MROUND,
we'll reference the cell with the time and then we need to select our multiple, which in this first example, we need for it to be 15 minutes.
So, I'll show you 2 ways to do this. The first method will be using a formula that will help us when we convert our result to a time format.
So, we'll type 15, for 15 minutes, divided by 24 - hours, divided by 60 to convert back to a 15 minute multiple.
We'll just copy the format from here. And you see that it rounds to 8:30. The second way that we'll do this - we'll type =MROUND again,
reference the time again. And, this time, in quotation marks, we're going to type 0: and
15 minutes, quotation marks again, and close our parentheses.
And let's copy the format again using the Format Painter.
And both of these have rounded up to 8:30
based on the 8:23 time we currently have. To round to the nearest hour, we'll do the same thing,
this time using 60 divided by 24, divided by 60 to be able to round to the hour. And we'll again copy over the format.
And, likewise,
we can do the same thing typing in quotation marks
"1:00".
So, to make sure that this is working correctly, let's plug in a couple of different times. So, we'll change 8:23 to, say, 9:06 and this should
round down to 9:00 - in both instances. And, let's say we type in 10:39, this should round to 10:45 and 11:00. So, our formulas are working
correctly! So, I hope you enjoyed this tutorial on how to round time in Microsoft Excel. If you did, please make sure to Like the video and
don't forget to subscribe to this channel. Thanks!

VEGAN FOR 30 DAYS | Vegan Challenge + How to go Plant Based - Duration: 14:07.
hi guys good morning it's a pretty gross day out in Sydney but I thought that
today we would get a lot done for no meat May so I'm doing a month-long vegan
challenge so basically on Instagram I saw this thing called no meat May and
people are either going vegan or vegetarian for it so I figured that this
whole month I would devote it to talking about plant-based diet so this whole
month what I'll be doing is giving you guys all of my tips to transition to a
plant-based diet and I thought if anyone wanted to do the challenge with me it
would be a lot of fun I'm going to do it going fully vegan and right now I'm
plant-based and I have been for years but I think that going vegan will be a
challenge cuz you guys know I love my halo top I love like a good cheese pizza
so it's gonna be hard for me too I think I might be able to even convince my
boyfriend to go vegetarian but we'll see I feel like he's like so into eating the
steak that it'll be a little bit more challenging but I'm excited so we've
come down to the market and I've scoped out a few like vegan restaurants and
grocery stores and I'm going to show you some of my produce my vegan grocery
staples and healthy plant-based food swaps and yeah it'll be good first
things first coffee
thank God Coffee is vegan
we've gotta get the kale and the vegan cheese
okay so here we are beautiful day in Sydney today we've just gotten to the
grounds of Alexandria and we were gonna have lunch but the wait is like an hour
and we're both starving so instead what we're doing is just a little walk around
we might check out the markets and see if there are any like plant-based or
vegan alternatives that we can pick up there and then we're gonna go get lunch
somewhere else and maybe I'll have to show you guys how to order vegan at a
non vegan restaurant today as well let's go
this rain is wonderful as well gonna be a good hair day here we go
wait this can't be it yeah it is it's not really it's not food?
okay so that was a bit of a disaster we did not anticipate the line being so
long I think it was like a 90-minute wait to get seated but we should have
known on a weekend because it is such a like a trendy place to go and everyone's
there taking photos and everything so because I'm so hungry I'm getting to the
point where I'm like very hangry so we're gonna stop off and get like an
emergency smoothie and then go to one of the grocery stores that I can get all
the vegan food swaps at and then we'll head home and I'll get some stuff done
in the kitchen cuz I'm trying to get through a lot today everything's taking
a lot longer than anticipated let's go
thank God for these seriously was about to lose it
calli pressed is the best smoothies in like all of Sydney's so we've picked
some up and hunty got a tastier one I love this one
this one's good but it tastes healthy
okay whoo now I've got my shit together we can go get the groceries
oh my god this is hitting the spot I'm drinking it so fast I'm gonna get brain
freeze I'm gonna get brain freeze
there we go went like five places looking for vegan food and things
clothes really early here so like half of the lunch spots closed at 2 p.m. we
ran around hungry for a long time so we've come to build in Bondi and I got a
big salad and I really wanted to add halloumi but I'm doing no dairy so I've
got the avocado instead one of the things is that people think you can only
salads and it's so not true and the first time like I tried to go vegan a
couple of years ago and I ended up like cutting out everything and just thinking
about like what I couldn't eat and eating just mostly like vegetables and
it's so restrictive and so unhealthy so I'm really excited now that I know so
much more about nutrition and should try it again this time around and like just
think about what I can add in instead of what you're cutting out so just make it
like a positive which i think is so important for making it something that
you can do long term because feeling deprived is like no way to live so
throughout the month what I want to do is show a lot of different recipes so
that we can like recreate your favorite comfort foods my favorite comfort foods
and have them all be vegan and plant-based and you can do it by doing
vegetarian or vegan like take baby steps another tip were like transitioning to a
plant-based diet is to take baby steps like don't think you have to do it all
out all at once it's about being
plant based it's not perfect so trying to make it just about trying new recipes
I'll be posting a lot of my favorite healthy recipes I'll be giving you guys
grocery swaps healthy snacks breakfast lunch dinner so lots of different ideas
and I also want to talk about like what you can do if your partner isn't you
know into doing it with you because I think a lot of times she like we cook
for we cook for our families or our boyfriends or husbands or whoever and
they might don't want to eat the same thing so I'll show you guys what I do
because already I'm vegetarian and my boyfriend needs meat so I'll show you
guys how I make the same meal but then just make it a little bit different for
him which will be good it's easier than you think to like super easy will do
more practical stuff too like dining out because you can eat at any restaurant
it's not like a struggle so there will be certain things that are a struggle
like when I'm PMSing or I'm hungover and I want ice cream and I may throw some
tantrum or like if my boyfriend's eating a cheese pizza he might do vegetarian
and I'm gonna do or pescetarian and I'm gonna do full vegan I'm gonna do it
for real oh thank you guys I'll show you all the like pain and struggle we're
having beds as to like how far I'll get without cheating
and even if you do cheat it's not the end of the world I just want to try and
do it for 30 days and like see the results from it and record it all see
what happens so we're just gonna finish up our lunch and then when we get home
I'll show you guys all the goodies I got at this store my hair isn't my salad
Oh oh my god it is so cold right now that's the past few weekends we have had
the rainiest craziest cold weather so we'll be filming work out soon but not
until this is all sorted yeah but I just won't say another thing so I think that
this will be good if there's a bunch of us doing it so make sure you let me know
if you're interested and also leave any comments any questions any sort of like
struggles that you think you'll have or recipes that you want me to make over
plant-based or vegan and I'll make them throughout this month so anyway so I
have a Facebook group and I'll send the link below in the description and
there's like 50 of us who are all doing the challenge this month and it's great
because then we can all sort of like share recipes I'm doing weekly live so
then you guys can sort of like do q and A's with me and I'll be giving you extra
tips there and even if you shoot me like a DM on Instagram with any of your
questions concerns like let me know if you're doing it let me know comment
below and also like let me know what would help you because you know it's a
learning experience for me too so I think it'll be really good to be able to
do this together and like learn together make it fun make it you know something
enjoyable I have a good community things are always better with the team so yeah
join it'll be fun gotta go get more groceries some more vegan snacks this
girl loves snacks my Netflix a master
thank you

How to Invest in ETFs - Duration: 4:27.
G'day guys. Today I'm going to talk about how to invest in ETFs (Electronic Traded Funds) in Australia.
In my last video, I already decided which ETFs I will be investing in.
But how do I go about actually purchasing them?
Well, you need to choose a broker.
I use an online, commission-free broker called SelfWealth who only have a flat $9.50 fee
per trade.
That's a pretty good deal.
I've already decided that I am investing in these four ETFs – 25% in each of VAS,
VGS, VGAD, and VAE.
Just say I have $100,000 in total to invest.
There's a couple of schools of thought here.
I could buy them all on the same day in a lump-sum, $25000 in each.
That would have the benefit of saving on brokerage – four trades for a total of $38.
If the market were to go up, which on average it does, then it would be best for me to invest
in this manner.
However, what if unbeknownst to me, the market is actually at a peak now?
(A real possibility based on recent events).
Then I would be investing all my money into a falling market.
So probably the better option in this case would be to put my money in over time, say
$5000 every month – a process known as dollar-cost averaging.
This assumes that the average investor, like myself, can't time the market, so there's
no use trying.
For me, I started with an initial investment in January of $5000 in each of my ETFs.
The reason I picked $5000 is that that's a fairly good trade-off with regard to brokerage.
$9.50 of $5000 is only 0.19% – a fairly reasonable one-off fee.
I wouldn't recommend lower than $5000, but that's up to you.
Then, every month thereafter, I put in a one-off $5000 investment into my lowest value ETF.
So in February, just say the ETFs have the following values, then I would put $5000 into
VGAD.
In March, I would put $5000 into VAS as it has the lowest value.
I choose the ETF with the lowest overall value for two reasons.
First, it keeps my portfolio reasonably well-balanced.
If I keep putting money into say the highest performing ETF, then very quickly my 25% target
allocation would go out the window.
Secondly, buying the lowest price ETF will give the most bang for my buck, that is, I'll
be able to buy more units on average.
So each month, I'm planning to invest $5000 into the lowest value fund until I've fully
invested my $100,000.
From that point onwards, I will invest $5000 whenever it becomes available.
So maybe once every three or four months depending on how much I can save.
Although mathematically speaking, a lump-sum investment may be the better option, Vanguard's
Robin Bowerman said it well in defence of dollar-cost averaging.
"Dollar-cost averaging provides a means to resist any temptation to try to time the
market.
Attempts at market timing often result in following the investment herd by buying when
prices are high while selling when prices are low.
As humans we are not wired that way and behavioral economics research tells us that as investors
we often 'misbehave' ... that is why dollar-cost averaging makes sense in tough/volatile markets.
It keeps people in the game."
Moneychimp.com also said it well, "If the market dips, people will be happy because
dollar-cost averaging will be saving them money, and if the market goes up, people will
be happy regardless."
So from a psychological perspective, dollar-cost-averaging makes sense.
Now for today's take-home message: 1.
Choose a low-cost broker such as SelfWealth.
2.
Invest regularly.
Invest your money over time to make the most of dollar-cost averaging.
That doesn't mean you have to invest every week or month.
Once a quarter is also a good option.
3.
Don't try to time the market.
The majority of people get it wrong.
And that leads to my final point:
4.
Only buy, never sell!
ETFs are for investment.
If you want to trade frequently, become a day trader.
We're here to make money over the long-term.
Sure, there will be some days where the markets go down and you'll feel like you want to
sell everything.
But don't!
Keep hold of your ETFs and ultimately, you'll reap the rewards.
And there we have it.
I hope you've enjoyed today's video.
Until next time, this is Daily Rant Australia.
See you next time!

what is up everybody this is Chris from the rewired soul where we talk about the
problem but focus on the solution and yeah hey don't leave don't you leave yet
if you're not an addict or an alcoholic trying to get sober make sure that you
stick them out because there is some very important information in this video
but maybe you can share with somebody else that you know who might have a
problem with drugs or alcohol and they're wondering how to get started one
of my favorite quotes out there I love quotes in case you didn't know that what
my favorite quotes is something to the effect of the journey of a thousand
miles begins with the first step right so it's important to talk about how to
stay sober for thirty days from drugs and alcohol like how you get this first
thirty days under your belt I'm gonna start doing a little bit more of this
just different increments of sobriety because there's very different things I
had to do in order to get my sobriety those of you who don't know me I have
been clean and sober since June 23rd 2012 got sober
Oh my 27th birthday so if I stay sober until this June it'll be six years
that'll be pretty cool and the first thing I'll say is when I first got sober
I never ever ever ever ever in a million years thought I was gonna stay clean not
only did I not think I was gonna stay clean but literally nobody else did like
my mom was ready for me to die like she didn't think I was gonna stay clean and
like throughout my first year she always said to me like I never thought you were
gonna stay clean I'm like in your face right but anyways so I'm not gonna go
through my whole story I have some other videos that I'll probably link up in the
info cards if you want to check that out I talked about withdrawal I talked about
what led me to getting sober and things like that so I won't dive too far into
that so anyways I didn't go to rehab to get sober I was given an ultimatum to go
into a sober living or be homeless and I'm
all right guess I'm going to sober living so I wouldn't do this sober
living and like I mentioned in my detox video I did a cold turkey detox from OBS
all right my alcohol withdrawal had already kind of diminished so I was no
longer really detoxing from alcohol it was just opiates and I go to the
sober living house and there was some rules one of the rules was that we had
to go to five 12-step meetings a week AAA or NA or I guess whatever a I could
find but because of my cold turkey detox I was bedridden aside from that like I
guess I could have gotten up and gone to meetings but I'll be honest with you
guys like we had to get a little piece of paper signed and I forged those
signatures so like when I got sober I hated people I hated people so much and
it's hard for people to realize that because I'm always so happy and cheery
and I'm very sociable but I used to just absolutely hate everybody almost as much
as I hated myself so I isolated in my room just detoxing going through misery
forged signatures and didn't do anything that first week so when the detox
started to end and that fog started to lift the insanity the pain and all those
things that don't get me wrong the pain was still kind of there but the fog
started or left and then everything's just sort of flooding into my brain all
the guilt all the shame all the remorse everything that I had done to my son
everything that I did to my son's mom everything that I put my mom through my
dad through all of my friends all that stuff was just eating me alive
while I'm sitting in that bed alone right and I've talked about why you
don't isolate right like I always say this when you isolate it's like being in
a horror movie and locking yourself in the room with a killer we can be our own
worst enemy even if you're not a drug addict or alcoholic you know this to be
true so I was trapped in my head and usually when I feel guilty shameful
remorseful anything like that you know what I do I get really high but now I
couldn't do that now I couldn't get high so what am I gonna do so I rolled out of
bed and went up to one of my roommates who had a
car and I knew they were going to a meeting I'm like yo I might do you have
room in your car I need to go to a meeting right because I figured maybe if
I go to a meeting I can keep myself busy right so I go to a meeting it's an hour
long and I go to this meeting and for that one hour at one score this thing
turned off and absolutely I'm like whoa holy crap so if I go to a meeting I
don't have to sit in my head right so I started asking more and more and more I
can't go with you to a meeting can I go with you to a meeting is every time I
wasn't listening to other people I was listening to the insane voices going
through my head those heads telling me that I couldn't stay sober my head
telling me that I didn't deserve to stay sober my head telling me that I should
have died like that tens of thousands of other people who can't get clean right
so I started going to meetings every single day and then I started going to
two meetings a day three meetings a day but that's when it kind of stops for me
I've never I don't think I've ever gone to more than three meetings in the day
but I was purely going to meetings just to get out of my head they were free I
had friends that I knew who are going to him and I started to get to know the
guys in my house but aside from that aside from that here's just some other
useful tips for your first 30 days sober like I just had to sum up all of my
willpower just to stay clean just to stay clean right like everything in me
was like just don't use just don't pick up just don't pick up just don't pick up
like I knew drug dealers in California I knew where the liquor store was I barely
had any money but it was enough you know what I mean and I had to use all of this
willpower so something that I do and this is a trick that I teach a lot of my
clients at my rehab procrastinate so most addicts and alcoholics are great at
procrastinating so during that first 30 days what I would do is say you know
what I'm not gonna get high right now I'll get high in an hour right or I'll
get high like at 4 o'clock you know and that's what I would do I would just push
it off push it off push it off and then at night I'd be like you know what I'm
just gonna get high tomorrow like the more I procrastinated it next thing you
know I was going 10 days 15 days 20 days 30 days but just
a lot of the time I was just trying to find things that kept me busy
whether it was zoning out on watching TV whether it was just listening to my
roommates talk sometimes it was going to play some ping-pong or some video games
with them I was just doing whatever I could to just stay busy all right so I
want you all to know to like even though I'm talking about going to meetings like
I was extremely close minded like even though I was listening to people like I
was like you guys are full of crap like I literally thought that 12-step
programs we're gonna just teach me how to manage my alcohol and manage my drugs
and when people were sharing like I haven't used in five years I'm like you
are so full of crap I can't believe it because that's how crazy we are like we
think that it's impossible how do you even live a life like I'm like you must
at least have beer like you all leave here and you go have to be like that's
how twisted we are like even to this day when I meet people who like don't really
drink I'm like what are you you know so I was just sitting there I wasn't listen
to this these people but I didn't believe a word that they were saying all
right so even though I didn't believe them I just kept going back to them so
if your motivation is just to turn this thing off just go there free you know
every like pretty much every city has 'm there's also apps like in the rooms
where you can attend meetings online like I just had to do that to get out of
my head most of the time but eventually
something changed and something happened which I will cover in another video all
right so leave your comments down below if you're somebody in sobriety let me
know where your best tips are for staying sober for 30 days because maybe
somebody will come across it and they'll get some help too
okay but again please please PLEASE even if you're not in Harrington recovery and
you just happen to watch this video please share this with someone you know
who is struggling with a drug or alcohol addiction because if they can at least
get to 30 days that's probably longer than they've been
sober or clean in a very long time so please do everybody a favor
and share this video all right but anyways if you liked this video please
give it a thumbs up and if you are new here make sure you click that little
brown subscribe button not only do I make videos about addiction recovery but
I also make a lot of videos to help you out with your mental health alright then
watch I got some other videos on this channel you can click or tap on one of

busy for 30 days and I'll see you next time

How To Build Bigger Arms - Workouts For Older Men - Biceps, Triceps, and Forearms Workout - Duration: 14:59.
So, you're a little older and you want to know how to build bigger arms. You're
looking for a workout routine to get bigger arms. You're looking for workout
routines for older men. You're looking for an arm workout routine for older men.
Well, in this video, I am going to tell you how to get bigger arms. I'm going to
show you how to build bigger arms. In this video, I am going to tell you how to
build bigger biceps. I'm going to tell you how to build bigger triceps. I'm
going to tell you how to build bigger forearms.
in this video, I am going to outline a complete workout routine for you so you
can build bigger arms. I'm going to do that for you and a lot more for you in
this video to help you build bigger arms.
Hi. I'm Skip La Cour and I am the world's leading MANformation expert. I help
older men with busy, productive lives look and feel their best. I help older
men with busy, productive lives make sense out of the extreme passionate and
sometimes conflicting fitness information that's out there so they can
reach their goals. I am a 6-time national champion
drug-free bodybuilder and I am the creator of the MANformation personal
development program that is specifically designed for men to help them become
their best both inside and outside of the gym. So, you want to build bigger arms.
When you're a little bit older, the first question that you might ask is "Can I
build bigger arms now that I'm a little bit older?" Well, your mindset is so
important to the whole training process, exercise, health. and fitness. Just because
you're a little bit older, you have to make sure that you don't limit yourself.
of course, you can build bigger arms when you're older. You may not be able to do
what you were able to do when you are younger or if you would have been
training your arms when you're younger. But you have to worry about what's in
front of you from this day forward becoming your very
best. That's very important in at this extreme fitness world where you get so
much information from the young guys. It's either black or white; in and out.
It's either you can build muscle when you get older or it's just impossible.
The truth of the matter is, if you are overloading the muscle even though
you're older you can build muscle. And this is especially true if you're an
older man and you're just getting into fitness the whole process is new to you
and your training . So, yes, you can build muscle even though you're a little
bit older. Again, you may not be able to build muscle as quickly as effectively
and efficiently as you were able to do in the past and neither can I my arms
were a lot bigger but I love my arms I know how to train that I'm going to
teach you how to build bigger arms in this video too
let me give you a little tip to have quality muscle to have arms that look
great you may want to put less emphasis on the
of your biceps you want to train those biceps you want to progressively
overload them I'm going to show you exercises to build your arms but when
you get lean you lose the body fat you concentrate on your diet you will see
the detail in your biceps your triceps in your forearms and that will have you
look like you have bigger arms the quality will just stand out so you want
to remember that when you are trying to build bigger arms now let's talk about
the foundation to all arm exercises when you're trying to build bigger arms now
this is true when you're doing bicep exercises tricep exercises and forearm
exercises this foundation that I am going to explain to you this is true of
every single exercise when you train in the gym the first thing you want to do
is you want to make sure that you have a rock-solid base with your feet firmly
planted into the ground they are firmly planted into the ground and they are
shoulder-width apart now it won't matter if it you are seated standing laying
down you want your feet firmly planted into the ground all right the next thing
you want to make sure that you do is that they're shoulder-width apart right
nice solid base you we're working from the ground up so your knees they're
slightly bent they're like shock absorbers so you can withstand the
movement and the weight your hips are straight your lower back is arched nice
and tight your shoulders are back your chest is up
your head is up your eyes looking forward and your head is even stretched
up alright so that is the foundation that you will need to keep in mind and
practice when you are working hard to build bigger arms so here are some
biceps training tips right when you get the bar you want to
get that foundation you want to you want to curl the bar up in a nice wide arc on
the way up and on the way down a nice wide arc on the way up and on the way
down what you don't want to do is cut the movement short get that big long
stretch you also want to explode in a one count on the way up and you control
the weight on the way down you don't just let it come down so explode in a
one count and then control the weight and a one two count your elbows you want
your elbows to be dragging against your body all right
you aren't elbows to be nice and tight during this movement all right
you don't want them to flare out alright let me show you that from behind all
right your elbows are gonna be nice and tight during the entire movement all
right you don't want them flaring out like that all right now you might notice
there are straight bars there are curl bar curl bars that the bar is that it
angle you also have dumbbells right you also have dumbbells where you can change
the wrist position now all of these bicep exercises they work the biceps
they all just have a different hand position so you can just head your bet
and hit the bicep in different angles sometimes we're better had some
exercises than others so you want to use a variety of bicep exercises I'm going
to show you that during this video here's another thing when you're doing
dumbbells it's a little bit different with dumbbells you want to make sure
that you turn the weight as early in the movement as possible let me show you so
I'll be here with my nice firm base and I'm gonna
turn it sooner and on the way down I keep my palm open and then what I'll do
is alternate so very early a movement I'm gonna turn it with my palm up
concentrate on that mind-muscle connection with all your bicep exercise
control it all the way down leaving my palm up all right what I don't want to
do is just will see where it's turning all right you want to turn it early in
the movement and leave it open all the way through all right so those are some
things to remember when you are doing all of the bicep exercises now for
triceps there's a couple of things that you want to remember first of all your
muscles your triceps you want to make sure that you're warmed up sometimes
it's not the muscle that'll give you a challenge it's that you have enough
lubrication in the joints when you train your triceps often that lubrication
sometimes if you don't get enough in you will have challenges with your elbows
alright so you want to be thoroughly warmed up before all of your tricep
exercises the other thing you want to consider when doing all tricep exercises
is that you want to keep your elbows tucked in during the movement what
they'll want to do during all tricep exercises is they'll want to flare out
you want to keep those elbows tucked in on the each portion of the movement you
want to keep those elbows tucked in for forearms you want to understand that
your forearms are being worked during all of your exercises all throughout the
week so for chess back your shoulders all that constant gripping you're gonna
be working the form so they're gonna get a lot of indirect work through it your
your entire workout week right you want to just keep it simple and effective
there are basically a two movements for the wrist forearm training is simple
with basically only two positions to work your forearms I'm now going to
outline a complete arm workout routine for you
gonna start off with biceps the first exercise will be barbell curls this
exercise barbell cause we're going to use this to warm up our arms so you want
to take as many sets as you need to get your body and mind ready for the entire
workout routine so we want to be thoroughly warmed up but we want to
conserve all of our energy as much as possible for the challenging working
sets right so we're gonna thoroughly warm up with barbell curls then we are
going to do two sets two working sets and we'll keep them in the six to eight
rep range for all of the exercises during this arm workout routine we're
gonna stick in the six to eight rep range we want to make sure we have a
challenging weight that we can't do more than eight but we can get at least six
the next exercise that we are going to do for biceps are alternating dumbbell
curls we're going to do two sets then we're going to go to crow bar curls a
slightly different angle with the bar and we're going to do two sets we're
going to finish off the bicep portion of this workout routine with hammer curls
and we're going to do just one set and that again will be in the six to eight
rep range we're now going to go to the tricep portion of this arm workout
routine the first exercise that we're going to do for triceps or rope tricep
pull-downs we're going to do two sets for our next exercise for triceps we're
going to lay down on a bench we're going to use the curl bar curl and do tricep
presses we're going to do two sets in the six to eight rep range our next
exercise for triceps will be lying tricep extensions again we're going to
be laying down and on this one we want to make sure we keep our elbows tucked
in because they'll really want to flare out during this exercise we're going to
do two sets again this will be in the six to eight rep range we're going to
finish off the tricep portion of this arm workout routine with over
dumbbell tricep presses we're going to do just one set and we want to make sure
that we really control the weight in the range of motion where we keep the
tension on the triceps and we really want to make sure that our elbows stay
tucked in on the way up and on the way down we're gonna finish off this arm
workout routine with forearms the first exercise that we're going to do will be
standing dumbbell wrist curls it's a very simple movement we'll do two sets
we'll get a challenge enough weight to keep us within the six to eight rep
range we're gonna finish off the forearm portion of a disarm workout routine with
wrist curls and we will do two sets and we will make sure that we stay in the
six to eight rep range so that's going to do it for this arm training workout
routine you stick with this routine you execute it you get better and better at
it and it will help you build bigger arms do you want more workouts for older

How To Straighten Hair with a Brush - Mens Hair Straightening - Duration: 10:31.
- If you've been curious about
these hair straightening brushes
and you wanna see how one works,
keep watching this video,
'cause we're gonna test it on this mop today!
Hello everybody, and welcome back to my channel,
my name is Thomas is you're brand new here
and style and hair related videos every single week.
So if that's your kind of thing, make sure you hit
the subscribe button and visit me every single Monday.
Welcome to today's video where I'm gonna be testing
out the flow ceramic styling brush from Vanity Planet.
I've done a couple of videos with Vanity Planet before
actually, I've tried out their teeth whitening kit
which was awesome, I've also tried out their spin brush
which was even more awesome and then now today
I'm gonna be looking at their straightening brush.
You guys might have seen ceramic brushes
or straightening brushes as they're called,
around on the internet lately.
They've been craze, and I dunno, they just really
caught my attention, I've been seeing lots of videos
of them around on the internet and I thought,
it's my turn to try one.
And I've done lots of other straightening videos
before as well, so I thought, hey, this is just
another way to straighten your hair.
I was really intrigued because if I could just brush
my hair straight, could you imagine how much
time that would save doing all of this?
That's what I thought too.
There is certain specs about this one in particular
that I liked other than other ones that I saw
on the market, Vanity Planet didn't actually contact me
this time, I contacted them and I said
hey, can I try out your brush?
And they said sure, so they've sent it over,
and today we're gonna try it out.
If you guys are interested in grabbing one of these as well,
Vanity Planet, 'cause we've worked together before,
there will be a link in the description box below
with a discount code that will get you 50% off
this bad boy, so yeah, enjoy.
I am also going to covering product specs
and all the cool things about this so if you're keen
for that, keep watching from here, if not,
go to this section of the video and you can watch me
straighten my hair.
So first up, I thought we'd cover a couple of the points
as to why I even wanted to go with the Vanity Planet one,
I did have lots of choices,
and yeah, I'm just gonna read them out to ya.
It's great for reducing the amount of time required
in straightening hair, perfect,
for wavy and frizzy hair types,
yes that's us, tick, we're definitely qualified for this.
Anti-static ceramic bristles straighten and smooth
your hair as you brush, perfect.
It's got advanced ionic technology
combined with the ceramic bristles and brush plate
to deliver a straight and shiny styles
without damaging your hair, yes that's perfect.
It's got digital heat controls that go from 170 to 370
and ensure that you have the perfect heat setting
for your hair type, so depending on how crazy your hair is
you can actually adjust it from 170 to 370.
It's lightweight, compact, convenient for travel.
It's got an ergonomic shape with a slip-free
thumb grip and it's also got a 360 tangle swivel cord
so you can like kind of move your arms around
and it doesn't get all tangled up, which is perfect.
Another cool thing to note about this is
most heating appliances like blow dryers,
beard trimmers, hair straighteners,
and even these brushes, they'll have a certain voltage
for the country that you're in.
Now this brush has been sent to me from either
Canada or America, judging by this plug,
I remember these plugs when I was in Canada.
And usually, North America will run on 110 wattage, right,
and then over here in Australia, we actually run
on a higher voltage and it's like 240 voltage.
But this actually covers the entire range,
so it goes from 110 to 240, you can see it right there.
Which means I'm actually able to plug this into
a normal adapter like that that doesn't have a converter
and I won't burn my hair off.
You've probably seen a lot of videos where people like
plug their straightener into the wall
then they start doing their hair and all of a sudden
their hair comes out because the heat,
well the wattage that was going through the appliance
was too hot and it actually burns their hair off.
So, judging by this I can stress less
and just know that I can use the adapter
and it won't burn my hair off.
So yeah, that's a really good selling point as well,
so anybody in Australia, anybody in Southeast Asia,
you'll be able to grab this brush as well
and use it without needing to worry.
That's a bonus.
There's a couple of other notes about this as well,
these aren't a flat iron, they emit heat
from the plates instead of clamping down
like a usual hair straightener would,
so it's a little bit unreasonable to expect
a pin straight look like you would get
with a hair straightener, but from what I can see,
it's gonna be really, really cool.
And overall, I'm pretty sure it's designed
to give you like a natural straight look in minutes.
So it can make everything quicker,
it's all about efficiency these days, you know?
Now, let's get into hair straightening, shall we?
What I've done previously to filming this video,
I've actually already applied all of my pre-straightening
products, so I use a straightening balm,
a leave-in cream and a heat protector.
Because I've got a lot to cover in this video today,
I've decided to do them earlier and if you are interested
in all the products I used to protect my hair
while straightening, I'm gonna leave card
just up there so you can go and check that out as well.
It does also say with this product as well,
that people with really curly hair, AKA me,
are better off sectioning their hair to straighten it out
rather than just going straight at it with like
a normal brush.
That's better for wavy haired people like me.
So what we're gonna do, is we're gonna do our sections
like this, chuck some ibis clips in.
Can still smell the Sebastian Trilliant Heat Protector
in my hair, it smells so good, I love it.
Ahhhhh.
Okay, let's turn 'er on.
Okay, we've got a blue screen right there.
Okay, so when I've turned it on, it said 170 degrees
Fahrenheit, so 170 degrees Fahrenheit I think equals
like 76 degrees celsius, and then it pumps right up
I think the max, it said 370 on here but
it actually goes to 400 Fahrenheit.
So and 400 Fahrenheit, I've just checked is
about 204 degrees celsius.
So she gonna get hot, it's heating up right now,
and like I'm just touching that, doesn't seem
too hot at all, it's actually quite safe.
I think these bristles are also designed
so they don't burn people.
Let's have a go.
Oh, this is exciting.
Nice.
Wow, look at that.
That's actually pretty cool.
Okay, let's try more.
Kinda gotta get used to this thing.
Whoa, that actually did it really quick, look at that.
It's like giving me a blow out,
it's quite groovy.
What!?
That is actually amazing.
Whoa, okay, cool.
Alright, there's the difference right there.
This on wavy hair would be, literally,
like a pin straight look.
Look what that's already done to my hair there,
that's insane.
Okay, now let's get the other side.
It actually makes really cool waves, holy hell.
Stop being so fantastic.
I'm having fun with this, this is cool.
Alright, so I've just done this first little section
down here and I wanna show you a close up, look at that.
That has done a really, really good job
of my hair in just like a couple of minutes.
That was frickin insane.
So far, so good.
And actually, what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna put
this on speed up and I'm gonna start doing the rest
of my hair and then we'll come back and we'll have a look
at the final result, because wow, this is cool.
(upbeat piano music)
Alright, holy smokes, so that is my hair
completely straightened in literally 20 minutes.
I started this video at 4 o'clock
and it's now 4:20.
That is an absolute record for me,
I have never been able to, even when I had an undercut,
I was never able to straighten my hair in 20 minutes,
that's crazy.
Just by looking at it already, I can see,
i have not got that pinstripe look that
I would usually get from a straightener
but what instead what I've been given is this
it's almost like a wave, it kind of looks like
my hair is naturally wavy with this.
Overall, I'm actually dead set impressed,
this is gonna save so much time,
especially if I'm gonna be doing
a neat man bun or something like that
and I need to straighten my hair quickly
or if I wanna wear a natural wave.
I think from here, if i were to wear my hair out,
I probably would still have to put a product in it.
Thinking of using the hybrid cream clay today,
simply because that still give me flexibility
and a bit more texture, but overall I think
this is magical, I think my man bun is gonna look
really great, that was so easy to do as well.
I'm actually mind blown.
So let's put some Hybrid Cream Clay in it
and let's see how we can go with our hair.
I might put it in the ends there
'cause the ends do look a little bit poofy,
but that's I think, expected, because you can't
really expect a brush to achieve the exact same thing
that a straightener could, so I'm just gonna chuck
that in there.
Also gonna chuck a bit of Jane Carter Solution in there.
With a bit of Riot Control Oil.
Moisturise me.
The joys of having really dry hair.
Still super stoked with this straightened though,
can't believe it.
Looking like Gayle Anderson.
Okay, I'm getting a little bit obsessed with it now, sorry.
So what I've ended up doing in the end,
I just added a few different products in.
I added some Hybrid Cream Clay,
I added some Jane Carter Solution,
I used some, even some sponge wax,
and some Riot Control Oil.
Just a few things to spruce it up
and from that straighten, those products
have been able to do this.
I'm not even kidding you, I haven't even used
an actual straightener in this.
And I'm pretty surprised,
I would actually wear my hair long like this,
you guys probably haven't really seen that much either,
have you, since I've grown it out,
but, wow, it looks cool,
and I'm really loving the natural wave that it's given.
So neat, and beautiful.
So just for a moment in review,
I'm actually loving this product.
A) Because it's shortened my routine significantly,
I've gone from an hour to 20 minutes.
I managed to achieve this look with just
a bit of product and the brush,
so that's definitely a thumbs up.
The fact that it didn't burn my hair off
and it was able to connect to an Australian adapter
without any failure, that's another thumbs up from me.
And plus, being an impatient millennial in 2018
I do really like things that speed up my processes,
so this flow brush is really gonna help me with that,
especially with my man buns
and yeah, if you guys have wavy or curly hair,
you should definitely check this out.
If you have curly hair, definitely do the sections.
If you have wavy hair you're probably gonna get
a pin straight look that you would get with a straightener
because I actually can't believe it, I haven't used
a hair straightener at all today, so yeah, I'm excited.
If you guys do wanna check this out, again,
the link will be in the description box below
and this code will give you 50% off your very own
flow ceramic styling brush.
Thanks so much for coming and checking this out.
Another straightening video in the casket,
I always love doing these straightening videos
and if you do want to check out the pre-straightening
products that I use, there will be a card
up in the card section for you
so make sure you check that out
and if you haven't already joined the Facebook group
make sure you do that too.
There will be a link in the description box
and I'll see you next week for another video okay guys.
Catch ya later.
Bye!

HOW TO BUILD A TROPICAL ANT FARM | Creating an Exotic Formicarium - Duration: 17:56.
Hi guys is Ants Britania and today, I'm going to be showing you how to make a tropical formicarium for your ants.
So guys, to make this formicarium you're obviously going to need to buy a few bits and few bits of materials
so I went to my local pet store and
My local pet store is called pets at home. Some of you guys in the UK
Might know might know the pet store. This is where I purchased this tank here.
It only costs 15 pounds. It's not too bad. It's waterproof
Which is a perfect or a tropical formicarium, because there's gonna be a lot of humidity?
And I am actually going to be creating a small kind of pond or lake in this formicarium. I also bought some
substrate; some sand for the formicarium
for the pond
And I've also got some kind of soil leftover from when I did my trap jaw
formicarium, I've also purchased a
hygrometer I think that's how you pronounce it but
hygrometer basically measures humidity in the formicarium
Which is essential when keeping tropical ants because you want to make sure you have the correct humidity
Type of ant species that you have so yeah, I am went to my local garden center
That's basically where you can buy plants
here in the UK and I don't know the specific names for these plants
But this is called a Fattonia, but I know
Hopefully look quite nice in the tropical formicarium
That I'm planning to make. I actually keep a couple of Fattonia's in my house here
And they are very strong and out of all the plants I've kept
They tend to grow the quickest and they have to survived through everything. They are very tough plants
I also purchased
Some Gravel
now the gravels in this kind of blue sieve here
The gravel will came in a small kind of pack, it's for aquariums, but it came in a small pack and I
soaked the
gravel in this container here over 24 hours overnight and
in
Some water and then I proceeded to rinse the gravel under some under some water
this is just this is essentially just to get rid of any kind of dust that may be sitting on top or around the
Gravel. You don't really want that in
Formicarium. You want the water as clear as possible
And as clean as possible
I'm also going to use some of this coco brick. I used, as you can see half is gone because I use half of it in my
Trap Jaw ant formicarium
So if you guys haven't seen at my trap jaw ants, I'll leave a link below in the description. I made a nice little video
Showcasing their arrival, and how I kind of set up there formicarium
If you guys are planning on keeping an exotic species of ant, that might be a good kind of starter video for you to watch
But this will help you out if you want to create
Your Tropical Formicarium. So guys, We'll start by adding in our base layer of gravel
Now this will hold the water quite well at the bottom of the tank because sometimes if you just put in
Soil, or sand at the bottom
And then add a lot of moisture it can create some kind of mold and compressed mud at the bottom of the tank which
Smell rather bad, so don't tend to one bone, so it's good to create a smooth base layer of gravel
Then I'm gonna lay over a small sheet of plastic which has a few holes in it. This will keep the rocks
Separated from from the sand and the soil. It will keep most of it seperated from the sand and soil
It will just allow a good separation of the substrates. I don't really want any kind of sand or soil
Slipping through the cracks and the robbers crack down mud at the bottom
But let's get cracking guys and let's get creative
Okay, let's we're gonna turn my here trying to do this now, but make it an absolutely met
But I'm gonna try and make it try and just lay in this here at the bottom here
Now as some people may know who have aquariums. I have like a little aquarium you can
See behind me if you guys want to
see a
kind of video on my abrasion
Just let me know in the comment that you want to see we shall confer as some people may know with aquariums you tend to
Make the bottle too popular tank
reasonably high and then you back the tank high and that makes the front of the tank where
You put most visibility what though this creates like a sense of dip
In the in the tank makes it look bigger than it actually is
So I'm going to try
The same process with my thumb carry minute. I will try and create the pot the front and the tank
Which is usually hopefully be at the lowest point if I was part of the tank itself
So guys I've created a kind of foundation layer
This is about a centimeter deep so now I'm going to start shaping the graben of the land as to the landscape
I want to create
So guys I've got the back end of the tank saw in so where the pond is going
I'm just gonna create a small opening for the front here
Okay guys now all of our gravel in place where we want it
So as you can see is a slight slant in the tank whether the back of the tank is a lot higher than
The front of the tank and are created just in
Semicircle at the front of the tank where st. Louis where I plan to create the small pond
okay, guys next step I
cut out some
plastic from a
Packet that was around some blue rolls
That's some toilet rolls, and I'm going to lay it it round over the top of most of this gravel
Even the bottom of the pod just to separate the substrates try and make it
Invisible around the sides because you don't really want to see
Bits of plastic around the side of the tank, so I'm gonna try and separate a little
Now we've added in our plastic kind of sheeting over the top of our gravel
Now I'm going to proceed with adding in the sand for the pond for the bottom the pond
this will kind of give it a more on that fistic feel and
Sand has really good filtration with a filter into the rocks quite well around the sides and everything so
Let's go ahead and add that I bought myself some
Some desert sands. This is made by pets at home. It's their own brand. It's it's not fine
It's quite quite a thick sound which is good as it means if the ants
wish to move it about they can sometimes the problem is with fine sand it can get quite dusty and
As sometimes struggled to walk on it the sound this is very good for all kinds of phone carriers because it has a great contrast
to
all colored kind of ants
Unless they're sand covered of course
Okay, so
I've got the sound now where I want it. Just around the basin of the pond and as you can see here
I've placed the sand at the front of the tank right guys now. It's time to add in our swim
I'm going to add this around sand around the edges here, okay
So we're gonna be adding in some plants all first, so this is some house plant compost
This is specific for these kind of like houseplants these kind of plants. I'm really putting in the formal karyam and
This compost will have the required nutrients minerals for those plants to grow successfully if you guys are thinking about keeping
Live plants in your former Carians be sure to get right
so
specific for your plan
So guys I've added in all the plants all the I require and as you can see here. We're not salon there where
The back is a lot deeper
Than the front this will obviously create some kind of debt
In the form of areum's I can't really be showcased at the moment cuz we don't have anything in the tank
But now I'm just going to go ahead and add a little bit more sand just to cover up this plastic here
So guys I've added in some more, Sam and it's starting to look like a good foundation
from former Carrie Amir
it's good to add a variety of substrate because then your hands can kind of choose as well as
What temperature they like humidity they like they can also choose what?
Material to build build into so here. I've kind of given them a good choice
between quite a fine sand and quite
Thick soil, so it's completely up to them as to where they dig and build the nest now
It's time to add our
plants into our small formal carry over here and
I'm going to try and repeat the same kind of process
And keep the smaller plants
Towards the front or the foam cam and the large plants towards the back
So let's go ahead and add some bees plants it
I don't know the specific names of these plants if you do know the name of these plants to help people out it would be
Fantastic if you wrote a comment in the comment section below just let people know what the plant is called alright
Let's add these plants in
With a stomach by handing
This to
Tonio plan now I didn't know it was called that I just literally looked at the label
Of love well so to be good
So guys I think we're all done in all the plants and
It's starting to look like a naturalistic
Tropical formic area and as you can see here. It looks absolutely beautiful
So guys I'm extremely happy with the way things turned out so far
So we kind of next step for me is to add some kind of rain forest litter and the top of the soil here
To make a bit more naturalistic to the end, okay, so I'm going to use some EXO terror
Rain forest substrate, hopefully give it that rain forest meal
Right now we've got our
All of our substrate layers. We've got our parabola
We've got our plant soil
We've got our sand through our pond
And we've got our kind of rain forest litter on the surface of our soil here and of course
We've got our plants so guys
This is the complete foundation of our tropical form aquarium finished
so all we need to add now is just a little bit of water and a little bit of heat to step and
That's humidity, and then we are all done, so let's go ahead and add the water
I've got my water and I've got this plastic kind of a cutout piece of plastic here of the container
Which has a hole through the bottom of it
I am basically gonna pour water into that small container, and it's gonna flood down through the hole
It's just so I don't disturb the substrate too much because if I obviously pour the soup bowl winter
Into the form tab it might move the soil Makalu the plants around and make it
Make it look a bit less attractive. So this is a good way or keep it on substrate where you want it
Hopefully this doesn't go horribly wrong, but we're gonna find out
Oh
Maybe using the huge bowl is not good idea and we've back with you in two seconds with a smaller bowl
Okay guys
so I
Managed to find this jug which is actually perfect for the kind of job that I need need to do
Never use the wrong tools for the wrong jump obviously
Lesson learned there by me
So nice after adding in the last bit of water. We're finally finished of tropical for Macario and
for those say so myself are they extremely happy with the way this has turned out it is truly a
recreation of a
tropical environment
So guys that is pretty much how to make a truck called former karyam? I?
honestly, hope this video helped any
Potential exotic and keepers out there
My when I first started keeping in God's hands
I didn't really have an idea of what to create what to put them in because obviously their environment is completely different to
European environment, so if you're living in Europe or like the UK like me
It is always a great idea to create your own little tropical cell like this
but if you're thinking of creating a nest to be attached to this if you just wanna use it as an out well I
Did make a new little video on how to create a plaster form karyam fast plus wind currents are usually really good. They have
Good filtration, so the water will hydrate the net really well
I'll leave a link below in the description if you want to check out that plants in this video
We can come in handy
You wish to just make
An additional nest for your aunt's so guys all I need to do now in terms of this nest just add a heat map underneath
I'm gonna add my
hygrometer the AMIA which detects humidity good place on the glass and
Bob's your uncle and I'm finished it's been a pleasure making it
Home care of it here and a pleasure showing you guys how to make it. It's not just been
Me showing you guys how to make something I've learned if you think myself as well
so that's always great when you you learn something as well, so guys I
upload videos every
Single weekend. There's no specific day or time
But we can do compete might be dopants come up at any point in other weekend
If you find yourself liking at this video be sure to hit that subscribe button
Hit the belly button as well because that will notify you when my video has been uploaded for cause and next week
We are going to be moving a tropical and species into this former area
Now that will be revealed in next week's videos so be sure to tune in for that
I hope you enjoyed this video and have a great weekend, and I'll see you next week
And I also purchased a hygrometer to mention humidity in the air from Karen, which is essential if you want

How to Benchmark Your ETF Portfolio - Duration: 2:23.
Hi everyone – I'm Justin Bender, Portfolio Manager at PWL Capital in Toronto.
In my last video I showed investors how to calculate their Modified Dietz Rate of Return
at Questrade, to get a sense of how their overall portfolio had performed.
This week, I'm going to show you how to compare that return to an appropriate benchmark
– using the actual performance of an ETF portfolio.
Let's get started.
In our example, we'll assume that the investor purchased the following ETFs with $5,000 of
cash available in their RRSP account at the beginning of 2017:
40% in the BMO Aggregate Bond Index ETF
20% in the Vanguard FTSE Canada All Cap Index ETF
And 40% in the iShares Core MSCI All Country World ex Canada Index ETF
The investor then contributed $500 monthly into their RRSP account during the year, and
invested the cash into the same asset mix.
At the end of the year, they had earned a rate of return of 8.94%.
To determine whether the investor's return is in line with industry expectations, we
can compare this return to the weighted-average return of the actual ETF holdings.
If the investor avoided the temptation to time markets or pick individual stocks, their
return should be very similar to the benchmark return.
To get started, visit my website at canadianportfoliomanagerblog.com,
hover over the DIY Investor's Toolkit at the top of the screen, and then click on Calculators.
Scroll down the page until you find the Benchmark Your Portfolio Return Calculator,
then click on the download button.
On the spreadsheet, you'll find a list of plain-vanilla ETFs, as well as their rate
of return in Canadian dollars for the 2017 calendar year.
In the target percentage column, type in the target allocation to the right of each ETF
in your portfolio.
In our example, we've typed in 40% next to ZAG, 20% next to VCN and 40% next to XAW.
The spreadsheet generates a weighted-average return of 8.96% for the 2017 calendar
year, nearly identical to our Modified Dietz return of 8.94%.
It's clear that the investor has done an incredible job sticking to their investment
plan during the year.
I'll be updating this spreadsheet each year, so please feel free to drop by and benchmark
your returns as part of your annual portfolio check-up.
