BREAKING: U.S. SENATE PASSES MAJOR TAX REFORM � HERE�S HOW IT AFFECTS YOU

arly Saturday morning, the United States Senate passed the most sweeping tax reform in decades,

which will bring a significant tax cut to both the working class and big business.

The vote was close � 51 to 49 � with only one Republican voting against the GOP-sponsored

bill.

Fox News reports on what the reform will mean for you.

The U.S. Senate voted just before 2 a.m. ET Saturday to pass a sweeping tax overhaul worth

roughly $1.4 trillion, putting the Trump White House a big step closer to its first major

legislative victory � and many Americans closer to a tax cut.

The vote was 51-49, with Republican Bob Corker of Tennessee the only member of the GOP to

side with the Democrats in opposition.

The bill is still not yet finalized.

Saturday�s vote means the Senate and House have passed similar tax reform plans, but

negotiators from both chambers will start meeting Monday to agree on a single piece

of legislation that both chambers must approve before it is sent to President Donald Trump

for his signature.Here�s how the latest legislation would affect you:

What deductions can I claim under the Senate bill that just passed?

The Senate bill does away with federal deductions for state and local income and sales taxes,

but allows deductions of up to $10,000 in local property taxes.

The legislation originally eliminated federal deduction for all state and local taxes, but

the property tax exemption was later added at the insistence of Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine,

who said she was �delighted� about the change.

What about personal deductions?

Like the House bill, the Senate bill nearly doubles the standard deduction level to $12,000

for individuals (up from $6,350) and $24,000 for couples (up from $12,700).Any other deductions

I could claim?

The Senate bill retains the current limit for the home mortgage interest deduction to

interest paid on the first $1 million of the loan.

(The House bill reduces the limit to $500,000 for new home purchases.)

The Senate version also preserves the deduction for medical expenses not covered by insurance

(the House bill does not), but ends deductions for moving expenses and tax preparation.

Why does the Senate bill allow deducting medical expenses not covered by insurance?

Because the Senate bill also repeals ObamaCare�s individual mandate, while the House bill does

not.

If ObamaCare�s mandate is repealed, thousands of people are expected to drop their health

insurance, raising the cost for those who decide to keep it.

And the personal exemption?The Senate and House bills both eliminate the $4,050 personal

tax exemption.

Will the tax brackets change at all?

The Senate bill keeps seven tax brackets, but reduces them to 10, 12, 22, 24, 32, 35

and 38.5 percent.

(The current brackets are 10, 15, 25, 28, 33, 35, and 39.6 percent.)

The House measure condenses seven brackets to four: 12, 25, 35 and 39.6 percent.

I own a small business.

What would this mean for me?

The Senate bill allows owners of so-called �pass-through� businesses (that is, businesses

that aren�t incorporated) to deduct 23 percent of their earnings, and then pay at their personal

income tax rate on the remainder.

This issue was a key concern of Sens. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., and Steve Daines, R-Mont.,

both of whom announced this week that they would support the bill.

What about corporate tax rates?

Like the House bill, the Senate bill cuts the current 35 percent rate to 20 percent,

but the Senate bill calls for a one-year delay in dropping the rate.

When will tax reform take effect?

President Trump and congressional Republicans have vowed to make tax reform law before the

end of the year.

If that happens, most of the provisions would come into force on Jan. 1.

Will tax reform affect my returns for this year?

The changes will not have any impact on your taxes for 2017, which are due to the IRS by

April 17, 2018 (you get an extra 48 hours to file because the traditional April 15 due

date falls on a Sunday).

So when will the differences in the bills be hashed out?

The House will vote on a motion to go to conference on the tax bills on Monday evening.

The Senate is expected to vote on a similar measure soon after.

Congress is scheduled to adjourn for its Christmas break on Dec. 15, but House Speaker Paul Ryan

has said he will keep the House in session beyond that date if necessary to get tax reform

passed.

and today I wanna teach you something

that I've learned about myself

and hopefully it will help you too.

It's about those big goals that you have,

those big projects that you want to work on

and why they're not getting done

and despite the fact that you say

you want that thing or that project to be done

or that experience to happen,

it's just not getting done and I am not judging you

because I have been there myself.

Here's what I've discovered about myself

and a process through which I take myself

to then be on the other side

and then go ahead and implement that thing

and I hope that it serves you

so imagine that you have this big project

or this life goal or this thing for your business

and you keep bumping up against it not getting done

even though you say you want to.

Here is a process that I'd like to share with you,

one that I use myself.

I would like for you to take a sheet of paper,

put it horizontally and divide that sheet of paper

into three columns and at the top

you're gonna write down your big goal

and in the left hand column

you're going to write down the reasons

or the breakdowns to implementing it

so reasons why you're not implementing it

and then, or the types of breakdowns that keep happening

and that could be like I schedule it

but I don't actually show up or you know,

just keeps getting moved or whatever it is.

Right, just write down all the reasons

why it's actually not getting done.

In the middle column, that will be called

the reason behind the reason.

The reason behind the reason

and in that column I want you to look

at the thing that you wrote down in the first one

and what is the fear or what is the belief

that is behind that reason

and it's not usually something that comes up

at the surface.

It's usually something deeper in your subconscious,

in your belief system and things like that

so I'll give you an example.

If let's say you are not making time for,

it could be working on a big project,

it could be a belief that it has to be perfect

before it goes out there.

It could be the fear that's underneath it

is if you actually get this project out there,

you will be available for criticism and for attack.

It could be, let's see what are some other reasons.

It could be that's you're a rebel

and you know that you're supposed to be

working on this project but you want to do

what you want to do when you want to do it

and you don't want to be beholden to anyone

for getting it done.

It could be that you will be found out

if you put it out there and people will find out

that you're a fraud because you don't really know

what you're talking about,

all these different reasons right.

So that's the reason behind the reason,

the fear or the belief system that's underneath

the reason why you're not implementing

and in the third column I want you to look at

writing down the strategies for overcoming

the reason and its belief system

so really look at, if it's just simply,

you're not making time for it,

then make time for it scheduling and all that

but if it is a belief system that says

if I go out there with my project

and they'll see that I'm a fraud,

then really the strategy is well you can go do

some personal growth and development work

around that belief system or that fear.

It could be that you create some affirmations around it.

It could be that you know, whatever it is,

what is the strategy to overcome the thing

that is in the way of you finishing that big project.

I have found that when we go underneath the surface

and look at what's really going on,

that's when we can move it out of the way

so that we can get out of our own way

so we can go finish the things that we say we want

and that will move us forward so that is a process

that has worked for me.

It has worked for my clients,

it's about getting super real with ourselves,

being bolder about getting out of our own way

and accomplishing epic things in our businesses

and in our lives so that is what I want to inspire you

to do today is get behind the excuses,

get behind the breakdowns and go for it,

boldly and unapologetically.

Minhyong Kim: Connecting Number Theory to Physics - Duration: 2:54.

First of all I wanted to feel reasonably confident that I knew what I was talking about.

In private, I've liked learning and talking about physics ever since I was a student.

In fact, talking about the subject

as soon as one has a general idea of the notions and the language is a great way to learn things.

Since more experienced people can then correct your misconceptions, and you really learn through that process.

But referring to physics in my research or organizing public activities surrounding physics is

claiming a good deal more competence than might be required for conversations, so that took longer.

The fact that the number theory community tends to be a pretty tough minded crowd

was probably part of the reason for my silence.

They're not easily impressed by ideas unless you show that you can do something definite with them.

So I needed to have theorems, results and pretty concrete directions

before admitting that physics was an important part of my thinking.

I sometimes like to compare theorems and definite results to money in the bank.

Then when you're just describing ideas and general philosophy

you're using that money, maybe even going into debt.

so then you need to get back to proving theorems.

I should stress that I think this kind of skepticism on the part of the community is a good thing overall

Meeting the challenge of skeptics is definitely an important part of organizing one's thoughts thereby making them more precise and useful

even if it's difficult sometimes.

Perhaps a more weighty aspect of the decision

to admit the influence of physics openly now is a certain sense of scientific obligation.

To put it in slightly grandiose terms,

it's clear we're at a place in scientific history where

the interplay of ideas between physics and number theory is quite important and

young people, especially energetic young people, should be paying attention to it.

There are many indications,

such as the work on motives and Feynman diagrams, all the new work on conformal field theory

and modular forms, arithmetic aspects of Chern-Simons theory, S-duality, and the Langlands program;

there are many, many others.

I feel strongly that the interface has

important insight to offer to people working in arithmetic geometry

but also to people working in fundamental physics especially quantum field theory and strings.

Even if I personally say some foolish things while advertising the connections

I feel like I shouldn't be hiding from a serious discourse, in private as well as in public.

Here Comes the Bus is a new app that was introduced earlier this year by Wake

County Public School System's Transportation Department.

it gives you the opportunity to know when your student is going to get picked up.

You get an alert as soon as the bus is within a radius of the neighborhood.

And it allows parents to have the opportunity to in a way use a GPS model

to track - in the mornings and afternoons - their children's bus and where it is.

And as soon as it returns in the afternoon, alerts, emails to you and

it just increases communication, so that you're totally aware where your student is once they're off campus.

But it has really cut back the sense of us being

the go-between now instead of having to go to us for information or an idea

where the bus is. My child usually is home by 3:45. It's four o'clock. Where are they?

They can go on the app first and check and see that the bus is going to

be late. So it has decreased a number of phone calls that in the past we've always been accustomed to having.

Middle school families - certainly our families -

are heavily involved and really want to track their students, know exactly what

time they're going to be home. Our kids have really busy after school lives.

And this gives them up-to-the-minute information for when they're gonna be

arriving home so they can continue with their afternoon schedule. And it's just an excellent customer service tool.

The kids have the app on their phones.

And you know I'll have a half dozen kids with their phones out say, Mr. Weddle, its

off Burlington Mills Road. It says it's this many miles away and it will arrive in like seven minutes 35 seconds.

Well, I think middle school is right at the

while and realized that he was removed from the Vicky's case but he was still on

Rajiv kidnapping the gangsters case hence he immediately came back to home

city and sealed all the exi ts from the city Rajiv was in the city and he needed

help but he was afraid that the police involvement may get his family killed at

least this is what Ajay thought Rajiv reached the location where Sakib had

called him and Juhi was ready hiding in a nearby location Sakib had called Rajiv

at a warehouse Rajiv opened the gate and went inside with the gangster minutes

later Rajiv called Juhi and said her to come

inside Juhi was confused as well as scared she slowly went to the warehouse

and was shocked to see that all of sakibs men lay dead living sakib himself

alive and chained to a chair the Rajiv looked at Juhi confused when Sakib said

poor Vicky very well-planned to show that

someone saved your family for you but you know that your family isn't here

it's with my brother Abeezer and that's probably why you kept me alive but I

won't tell you where Abeezer is unless you don't surrender to the place I am NOT

Vicky saying this rajiv looked at Juhi and then his eyes went to her legs he

kept staring and in a few seconds he removed his gun and killed sakib and the

gangster too after doing this rajiv looked at Juhi and said I know what you're

thinking but don't worry I am NOT Vicky I used to be when I was at the other

city I was on a mission to end the gang of abbas yep I worked for the secret

services on going to the new city I was sent for a military training by my

parents and there I was offered the job of secret services my mission was the

gang of Abbas and my disguise was Vicky once a week I used to shoot the CCTV for the entire week and then the entire week I used to work as vici with

Abbas' gang one day they attacked my family and hence I came back now

question arises is that if Sakib knew where abeezer is then why did I kill

him because who they have isn't my family my dad my sister and my mom are

special agents trained to look like civilians

and as we speak they have already killed abeezer and his army it's a very old

army trick to send our men as prisoners to attack from within and has never let

us down basically I wanted them to kidnap my family to kill the last two

brothers of the Zaveri family my real family is safe and feels that I have

died I wish I could meet them one day being a special agent there is one thing

we must never tell anyone and that is our identity which I revealed to you

just now so why all of a sudden did I

STUDENTS ARE TOLD ALL THEIR LIVES ABOUT THE DAY THAT THEY WILL GRADUATE AND WHY IT IS SO IMPORTANT. BUT WHAT ABOUT AFTER GRADUATION? I TALKED TO A RECENT USF GRADUATE ABOUT HIS TIME HERE AND AFTER HE CROSSED THE STAGE.

It was great. I spent most of my time at either St. Pete campus or the Sarasota campus. Uh the administration was always wonderful. Always had a great academic advisor along the way. So, it was a good experience.

After graduation it took Sean Hayes a while to find a career he was passionate about. However, he was able to make it happen. He is now a basketball trainer and home school teacher to six-year old Eli Spirk.

Use your resources on campus. They'll be able to help you in job placement. I used that right away when I graduated to get a job at Amazon before I started doing basketball full time. So, use the people around you, they'll be very helpful.

I sat down with Trey Taylor, who is a third year mass communications major here at USF. Trey hopes to graduate in the Fall of 2018. So, I talked to him about his expectations of life after graduation.

My goal after college is to find a career out there in the sports industry that combines a little bit of marketing and advertising that suits me perfectly.

Dandelions are not just a pesky weed. Here are 6 ways you can use them to help with your health

Dandelions are viewed as a pesky weed to be pulled, sprayed or somehow destroyed. Little children love to pick them once theyve gone to seed and blow the seed puffs, watching the seeds float in the air.

Most people never stop and think that there is any good use for a dandelion.

To be honest, no studies have been done to back up the claims that most natural practitioners make regarding the health benefits of dandelions. The nutritional value has been corroborated, and it is commonly used as a coffee substitute.

Beyond that, no one really knows if the rest really works. The good news is that dandelion is considered safe to take unless you have an allergy to ragweed, chrysanthemums, marigold, chamomile, yarrow, daisies or iodine.

Nutrition. According to the University of Maryland Medical Center(UMM), dandelions are an excellent source of vitamins A, B, C and D. They are also high in iron, potassium and zinc, so adding the leaves to a salad ups the nutritional value of your salad.

Coffee substitute. For those who love coffee, but cant drink it, UMM says that dandelion root is a commonly used coffee substitute.

The Hallmark Channel recommends using 1 tablespoon roasted, granulated chicory root; 1 tablespoon roasted, granulated dandelion root; and 32 to 35 ounces of boiling water.

Put it in a French press to make your coffee. If you cant get roasted roots, you can make your coffee with unroasted roots, but the roasting is supposed to make the coffee taste richer.

Diuretic. The Mayo Clinic states that dandelion has been used as a diuretic in the herbal world for a long time.

Before taking any herbal remedies, you want to check with your doctor as these can interact with other medications. Wellness Mama makes iced dandelion tea from 1 quart fresh dandelion flowers (gently washed), 3 quarts cold water, 1 cup hot water, 3 to 4 limes (juiced) and 2 to 3 tablespoons honey or sugar.

In a gallon jug, dissolve the sweetener in the warm water. Add the juice from the limes and the cold water. Add the dandelions and stir gently. Place in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 hours before serving.

Laxative. Dandelions are supposed to be a gentle laxative. Livestrong.com makes a laxative tea from 1 tablespoon chopped dandelion root boiled in 8 ounces of water for 10 minutes. Strain the root out and add 3 cups of water.

Normalize blood sugar. Dandelion is also supposed to help regulate blood sugar while equalizing cholesterol. Herbal supplements can be taken, but check with your doctor before starting them.

Stimulate appetite. For those who suffer from loss of appetite, UMM says that dandelion has been used to stimulate the appetite. Natural Homeremdies.org says to simmer dandelion root in water for several minutes and drink the tea 3 times a day.

Before taking dandelion for medicinal value, check with your doctor. If your doctor approves, though, you may find that dandelion is no longer a weed to you, but a wonderful medicine instead.

Here's Your First Look at Meghan Markle's Gorgeous Engagement Ring - Duration: 1:34.

After months of speculation, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have finally made it official. The royal couple, who have been dating for over a year now, announced their engagement this morning, and all eyes immediately turned to the bride-to-bes left hand.

Earlier this year, predictions suggested that Harry might propose with the Queen Mothers engagement ring, or perhaps her massive diamond-and-pearl ring, but Harry opted instead to create a custom piece.

At this mornings photo call, we caught our first glimpse of the ring, which was designed by Prince Harry and custom made by court jewelers Cleave and Company using one diamond sourced from Botswana and two smaller stones from Princess Dianas collection.

The ring is obviously yellow gold because thats [Markles] favorite and the main stone itself I sourced from Botswana and the little diamonds either side are from my mothers jewelry collection, to make sure that shes with us on this crazy journey together, Harry said during the couples first sit-down interview with the BBC.

Its incredible, Markle said of Harrys gesture. Everything about Harry's thoughtfulness and the inclusion of [Princess Diana's stones] and obviously not being able to meet his mom, it's so important to me to know that she's a part of this with us..

It's incredibly special to be able to have this [ring], which sort of links where you come form and Botswana, which is important to us. Its perfect, she told the BBC. Wed have to agree.

Markle's ring is not only gorgeous, but it's also incredibly valuable. "Ms.

Markle's stunning ring appears to be a 3 carat cushion cut diamond with two side diamonds flanking the center stone at approximately 0.5 ct to 0.75 ct each," says Andrew Brown, President of WP Diamonds.

These side diamonds belonged to Princess Diana, and the center stone seems to be among the best of its kind.

"We would estimate the retail to be upwards of $50,000—but with royal provenance, a ring like this could sell from anywhere between $500,000 and $1 million.".
