From courtship, to friendship to even relationships between your own family

How would you describe the relationship you share with the one you love

Let's hit the streets today to find out more

How would you describe your relationship with each other as friends

Is it, 1. Strong and powerful

2. Flexible and adaptable

Or 3. adventurous and willing to take on new challenges

So it's 1, 2 and 3, on the count of three shout out your answer

3, I would say number 3

So since you could describe yourself as being adventurous

What is one of the most adventurous things you've done together

Interviewee: I think we do crazy stunts Charlotte: What stunts have you guys done?

Interviewee: On the bike Charlotte: On the bike!

Basically, we go overseas together, to different places

to try out all the adventurous places

I'm a simple girl, because I like to go along with my friends

We don't really fight and we understand each other

We are willing to try new things together

So far, we have just pierced (our ears) together

I would definitely try a lot of stuff every weekend

Like, we went to Universal Studios and we went to Wavehouse

I think we are quite strong, as in mentally and physically

I feel like we went through a lot of things together

Because we are both from tennis

So I went through a lot of hardships and a lot of scolding from our coach

We adapt quite quickly and we go through a lot of things together

During like competitions, we try to adapt to the stressful situations

Whether you are adaptable, versatile or a perfectionist,

your perfect fit is definitely out there somewhere!

Minor Scales On Bass (Which Ones Should You Use?) - Duration: 9:21.

Hi, I'm Luke McIntosh, creator of becomeabassist.com, and in this bass lesson, you'll be learning

when to use which kind of minor scales on bass.

There are so many!

But in this lesson, we'll be cutting through the confusion and you'll come away knowing

exactly what's going to make you sound the best in any situation.

Today we have a question from an email subscriber named Gregg who writes:

Hello Luke.

I am new to bass - I've been playing for just over a year so there are many things

for me to learn.

At the moment, modes are my struggle.

My question is: When do I use the Dorian mode as a minor scale and/or when do you use the

Aeolian mode as a minor scale?

Or do I have it all wrong?

Thanks,

Gregg

Oh my goodness - I don't know about you, but this is definitely something I can relate

to.

When you start going down the rabbit hole of scales and modes, it can get super confusing

super quickly - especially when it comes to minor scales.

You've got the Dorian, the Aeolian, the Phrygian, the Locrian, the harmonic minor,

the melodic minor - and that's before we get into the really exotic scales.

The list never seems to end!

How the hell are you supposed to know when to use which one?!?!

Well let's clear it up right now!

The 2 big minor scales that get used the lion's share of the time - the majority of the time

- are the Dorian mode and the Aeolian mode - and the Aeolian by the way is sometimes

just called the 'natural' minor scale and there are some general guidelines about

when to use which one - whether you use the Dorian or the Aeolian.

In general - not all the time - but in general, if someone says a song is in the key of 'whatever

minor', the Aeolian scale is what you usually use.

For example, if someone says we're in the key of Bb minor, they're talking about using

the notes from the Bb Aeolian scale.

If they say G minor, you use the G Aeolian scale.

C# minor - C# Aeolian.

I'm sure you get the picture.

This will work for a lot of regular old sad-sounding songs.

For example, the Adele song Rolling In The Deep - it's in the key of C minor so C Aeolian

will work great over it.

Here's our C Aeolian here *** If you play that scale over the song, you'll hear everything

works.

***[could have had it all] Haha!

Forgive my singing!!

But you'll notice everything sounds good here - nothing is out of place.

You can actually hear all of the notes of C Aeolian during the song - it's a great

Aeolian example.

You could also check out the verses to the Pink Floyd song Comfortably Numb.

They are in B minor, so the B Aeolian mode is going to sound good there.

Try playing these modes over these songs and you'll hear that they work really well.

I've put links for them underneath this video, so be sure to go and check them out

and play some Aeolian over them.

So that's the Aeolian mode, but what about the Dorian mode?

What are the guidelines for that?

Well, the Dorian mode, in general, gets used over the 2-chord (ii-chord) in a major key.

For example, in the key of C major, the ii-chord, the second chord of that key is a D minor

chord, so you'd use a D Dorian mode over that chord.

This is something I talk a ton about in the Ultimate Guide to The Modes For Bass which

you can get for free by clicking the link in the description of this video.

If you're a bit lost in this video right now, that guide will clear things right up

for you so go ahead and download it.

For some examples of Dorian getting used over a ii-chord, check out Taylor Swift's Shake

It Off.

It's in the key of G and the chord progression is Am-C-G.

*** Sounds just like that.

That means it's a 2-4-1 progression *** and we can play our A Dorian scale over that A

minor chord - the first chord in the progression and the 2-chord in the key of G. Have a listen.

*** [go on too many daaaates ***] Hear how that Dorian mode just sounds right?

There's no notes that sound funny or out of place.

That's the Dorian mode in action when it's used properly like this.

Another really quick example of the Dorian being used over a 2-chord is Maroon 5's

Sunday Morning.

It's in the key of C and the chord progression is Dm-G7-C. That's a 2-5-1 in the key of

C major.

That means the D minor chord is the 2 chord in this key, so you can play D Dorian over

that chord and it's going to sound great.

Now these general guidelines are a great place to get you started.

Aeolian mode as your regular minor scale and Dorian over the 2-chord in a major key.

Simple enough.

However, sometimes these guidelines just don't work!

Sometimes someone will say let's play some song in A minor, but they really mean to use

the A Dorian mode - not the Aeolian.

For example, if you listen to Carlos Santana's Oye Como Va, it's in the key of A minor, but

it uses the Dorian mode NOT the Aeolian mode.

You can tell this because of the sounds that get used around that A minor.

If you listen to the chords, you'll hear that it's mostly A minor and D7 *** [groove].

Now that D7 there - that uses an F# *** - not an F ***. If we were using A Aeolian, then

we'd expect to hear an F there because that is what's in A Aeolian.

Here it is *** [Aeolian].

But instead in this song we get this F# ***, which makes it an A Dorian mode ***. In fact, that

one notes is the only difference between Dorian and Aeolian.

Flat 6 for the Aeolian *** or natural 6 for the Dorian ***

You can call this Santana song 'modal'.

That is - it doesn't use standard 'functional' regular harmony like all the other examples

we've talked so far.

It uses 'modal' harmony where the 'home' chord isn't in a regular major or minor place.

In these cases, where the song doesn't easily fit into 'regular' harmony, the chances are

that you'll use Dorian instead of Aeolian.

For some more examples of songs that use Dorian as the 'home base' check out the Miles Davis

Song 'So What'.

It uses D Dorian in the A-sections and then an Eb Dorian in the bridge.

For something a little more modern, check out the Daft Punk song Get Lucky.

You could say that song's 'home base' is centred around B Dorian.

Check it out!

Finally, the melody to the folk song Scarborough Fair is all drawn from the Dorian mode.

Now if all this talk about modes and scales and everything like that is over your head

and confusing, once again, I feel your pain!

If you don't understand how it works, it sounds like people are speaking a foreign

language - it's endlessly frustrating.

That's exactly why I created the Ultimate Guide to The Modes For Bass.

I want to take away all of the confusion and frustration and jargon out of learning the

modes for you so you can know exactly what to play, when to play it and why it sounds

good.

These are the key to sounding good all the time and you'll learn exactly how to do

it with the guide.

To get started with it, just click the link in the description and I'll send it straight

to your inbox - totally free.

In the end though, the absolute best thing I can tell you is that it's up to you and

your ears.

Get used to using your them - they're a great asset to you.

And if the Dorian sounds better than the Aeolian to you in some song, then it IS better.

Trust your ears and they will almost always take care of you.

Thanks so much for watching - I really appreciate it.

Be sure to subscribe to get all the new videos from Become A Bassist and of course be sure

to sign up for the Ultimate Guide To The Modes if you haven't done it already.

Fourth, we've got to keep fighting for the dignity of every veteran.

And to help with that, I'm going to add a fourth part to our formula.

The fourth was we need more money.

Here's what we really need: connection and love, fourth need.

A fourth-century liturgy of St. John Chrysostom, originally.

That was wonderful and just evoked that fourth ambassadorship in ways that are hard to count.

And then the fourth and final lens its price, evaluation.

I can't think of the fourth thing.

The fourth thing is your research and you do some development on it.

The fourth principle is to let your own pain in, to feel your own pain.

Lat Pull Downs Vs Pull Ups: Which One Builds A Bigger Back? (ft. Scott Herman) - Duration: 3:11.

hey muscle and strength I'm Scott Herman team BSN and today we're

going to talking about which is the better muscle building exercise pull-up

or the lat pulldown now right off the bat if you can't even do a pull-up

you're probably gonna automatically go towards the lat pulldown machine and

that's fine however keep in mind there are ways to get around not having to use

the lat pulldown machine such as using resistance bands or jumping negative so

you can still take advantage of what the pull-up has to offer and obviously to

guys you want to get better at pull-up so you can eventually incorporate that

movement into your exercise arsenal but what's the difference between these two

exercises that essentially have the same range of motion well the biggest

difference between the pull-up and the lat pulldown is that when you do a

pull-up it's much more taxing on your central nervous system and involves a

bit more muscle engagement throughout your arms like your biceps as well as

your shoulders and obviously the lats as well when you move over to a lat

pulldown machine it's very easy to adjust your positioning so that you take

a lot of your arms and shoulders out of the movement and you can solely focus on

just targeting the last but which is the better exercise well in my opinion

pull-ups is always going to be superior and it's for a few different reasons and

the biggest reason of all is that you can continually progress with that

movement whether you need assistance or you can do them weighted even if you get

to the point where you're doing weighted pull-ups you can utilize things like

jumping negatives to really place a maximum load on your lats during the

eccentric phase of every single repetition if I were to incorporate

pull-ups in the lat pull down into my own workout routine I would actually do

it like this I would start off with doing heavy pull-ups as much weight as I

can handle probably in the 8 to 10 rep range and then later in the workout I would

finish off with the lat pulldown because I can utilize that exercise to target my

lats a bit more and take my arms out of the equation by just changing the focus

of the movement in fact you might actually have better gains doing an

underhand grip lat pulldown or a reverse lat pull down like I'd like to call them

instead of utilizing the same movement pattern with an overhand grip if you did

pull-ups in the beginning of the routine you want to keep in mind that when you

do your back workout you don't want to have the same hand placement on every

single exercise that you go through and that includes things like bent over rows

as well if you're standing off your routine with either a lat pulldown or

pull up utilizing an overhand grip when you get to the bent over row don't do

the same grip go for an underhand it's all about knowing your body and knowing

how different grips and arm placements or hand placements can change

how the exercise targets your muscles so hope you guys enjoyed this tip be sure

OnePlus 5T vs Moto X4 Which one to buy? 🤔 - Duration: 11:09.

"Music"

Hey guys it's Sagar from Tecworkz.

Moto X4 is an amazing mid range smartphone, but it is overshadowed by the like of OnePlus

5 and 5T.

So in this video, we will compare the Moto X4 with OnePlus 5T, and see if the 5T is worth

the extra money or should you just go with the Moto X4, and save up some money.

When you look at these phones individually, both are excellent options, and provide very

good value for the money that you pay for them.

Now Before we get to the comparison, make sure to hit the subscribe button, so you don't

miss out on any of the amazing video, coming up on this channel.

Let us start with the first point, that anyone considers while looking for a new smartphone,

Price.

Moto X4 comes at Rs.20,999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB Storage variant, and Rs.22,999 for

4GB RAM and 64GB Storage variant, and they just yesterday launched a variant with 6GB

RAM and 64GB storage for Rs.24,999 on Flipkart.

OnePlus 5T comes at Rs.32,999 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB Storage variant, and Rs.37,999

for 8GB RAM and 128GB Storage variant.

If price is the main deciding factor for you, then you should go with the Moto X4.

5T costs 10K more than the Moto X4, but it also packs in more stuff, which we will look

at a bit later in the video.

For now lets us focus on the next point in this comparison, Design and Built.

Both these phones are miles apart when it comes to to their built and design.

5T is a big phone with a 6 inch display, and it can get a bit difficult to manage with

one hand.

Big display definitely means better experience while playing games and watching videos.

But some of you might prefer a smaller device, which is much more manageable in one hand.

THAT is where the Moto X4 comes in, with its 5.2 inch display and much handy form factor.

If you like big phones then 5T is the one for you, but if you prefer smaller phones,

and single handed performance is what you are looking for, then take a look at the Moto

X4.

5T with its all metal back is much more durable than the Moto X4, which has a glass black.

Aluminium frame around the X4 seems pretty solid, and I like its bold and firm buttons

much more than the thin buttons of the 5T.

I love the alert slider on the OnePlus 5T, and I think it is something that all of the

android devices should come with.

Both these phones can hold 2 Nano SIM cards, but with the Moto X4, you have the option

of switching one of the SIM cards with a Micro SD card, if you need to add more storage to

your phone.

Both have USB type C port for charging and data transfer at the bottom, and these are

also few of the last remaining phones that still come with a 3.5mm audio jack.

5T has a single downward firing speaker.

Earpiece on the Moto X4, acts as single a front firing speaker.

Both have single speaker, but the one on the 5T sounds better and louder.

Moto X4 also comes with IP68 water resistance.I don't know any other phone at this price

range, that comes with a water resistance rating.

OnePlus 5T costs more, but it is still not water resistant.

One of the most distinguishing factors between these smartphones is their display.

5T has a 6 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2160x1080 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio

,and it is covered by gorilla glass 5.

But more importantly it has very small bezels all around, with screen to body ratio of 80%.

X4 has a 5.2 inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and it is covered by gorilla

glass 3.

It has a normal 16:9 aspect ratio, and huge bezels at the top and bottom.

Now since the display on the 5T takes up most of the space at the front, the fingerprint

sensor is now moved to the back.

Whereas the fingerprint sensor on the X4 is still at the front, below the display.

I actually prefer the front placement of the fingerprint sensor on my smartphones, because

my phones spend most of their time placed on a table facing up, but thats just me.

When it comes to unlocking the phone, both the sensors are very fast and accurate, but

the one on the 5T is a tad bit faster.

On the 5T, you also have insanely fast, face unlock feature to get into the phone.

Android phone have had the face unlock feature for some time, but no manufacturer had ever

advertised it or worked on it like OnePlus did.

You can also swipe down on the fingerprint sensor of the 5T, to check in on the notifications

or bring down the Quick settings menu, and even click pictures while in the camera app.

But you can do much more with the fingerprint sensor of the Moto X4.

You have the option to use the onscreen navigation buttons, or use the fingerprint sensor as

one navigation button, and free up some space on the display.

Just swipe your finger right or left on the fingerprint sensor, to go back or to get to

the recent open apps.

You can even program the sensor to do certain things on long pressing or double pressing

it.

Both the phones also give you various gestures to work with.

On the 5T, you can draw gestures when the phone is locked, whats even better, is that

you can choose the task to be associated with these gestures, like double tapping to wake

the display, drawing O to get to the camera and V to turn the flash on and off.

On the Moto X4, you have Moto Gestures, just twist the phone twice to get to the camera,

double chop to get to turn flash on and off, and so on.

There's also Moto display, which lets you see the notifications in a battery friendly

way, when the screen is locked.

Now lets check out the specs on these phones.

This is the part where OnePlus 5T pulls way ahead of the Moto X4.

5T comes with top of the line Octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor, Adreno 540 GPU, 6 or 8GB of

RAM and 64 or 128GB of built in storage.

X4 comes with a Snapdragon 630 processor, Adreno 508 GPU, 3 or 4 GB of RAM and 32 or

64 GB of built in storage.

Specifications don't tell the complete story about any phone.

Even with lower specs, Moto X4 performs really well at day to day tasks, and there is not

a lot that can slow it down, but the RAM management is not the best that I have seen.

5T in the other hand just fly's through anything that you throw at it.

Multitasking and RAM management is breeze on it.

If you don't want any compromises when it comes to speed of your smartphone, go with

the OnePlus 5T.

5T has been running Oxygen OS built on top of Android 7.1.1, up until yesterday.

It allows endless customisations options, so you can tweak every detail on your phone

to your liking.

X4 is running almost pure android, with just a few Moto apps installed on top.

OnePlus has been gloating on faster software updates and security patch roll outs, and

Moto has not been too keen on pushing software updates to their phones in the past few months.

But surprisingly, Moto has already pushed out a stable Oreo update for the Moto X4,

while OnePlus just pushed the Oreo update yesterday, after making us wait for a long

time.

Rest of the things are pretty similar, software wise, since both are running pretty barebones

version of Android.

Coming to the cameras on these phones.

Both have dual cameras, but they make use of the secondary lens in a slightly different

manner.

The main camera on the OnePlus 5T, is a 16 Megapixel sensor with F/1.7 Aperture and Electronic

stabilisation.

While the secondary camera, has 20 megapixel sensor, and again a wide F/1.7 Aperture.

Both cameras have 27mm lenses.

On the Moto X4, you have a 12 megapixel camera with F/2.0 aperture, and a normal field of

view.

And the second camera, has a 8 megapixel sensor, and an ultra wide angle lens with 120 degree

field of view.

You can use either of the lenses at your will while shooting images and videos on the X4,

but you cant do this on the 5T.

Here are a few image samples from these phones, compared side by side.

If you want to take a look at lot more image and video samples, check out my camera comparison

between these phones.

I will leave a card to it at the top right corner of the screen and also link it in the

description section.

Both can take good images, but the 5T is sightly better.

5T packs in a 3300mAh battery and the X4 has a 3000mAh battery, both are non removable.

5T lasts much longer on a single charge, thanks to the AMOLED display, efficient 835 processor

and its software optimisations.

X4 comes with a Turbocharger for fast charging, but it is no where close to the speed of the

Dash charger of the 5T.

Dash charger is one of my most favourite feature features of OnePlus smartphones.

A major part of buying any smartphone is its availability and update cycle.

Both these phones are available readily and without any flash sales.

In the past, Moto has updated their X lineup once every year, But OnePlus has been updating

its flagship lineup every 6 months for the past 2 years.

So when you buy the 5T, keep in mind that the OnePlus 6 will be coming out within the

next few months, making your phone feel a lot older than it actually is.

After looking at all the points in this comparison, OnePlus 5T clearly offers you a lot more features

than the Moto X4, but it also costs about Rs.10,000 extra.

Moto X4 is priced lower, and at that price, it offers you overs 75% of the things that

the 5T does.

So the final decision depends on your needs, requirements and liking.

If you want the best internals, bigger display, slightly better cameras and you don't mind

spending the extra Rs.10,000 then go with the OnePlus 5T.

But if you prefer a smaller phone, with the fingerprint sensor at the front, smooth day

to day performance and want to save a lot of money, then get the Moto X4.

I myself would get the OnePlus 5T for its bigger display, dash charging and slightly

better set of cameras.

I would have gone with the Moto X4, if it was launched with a slightly bigger display

in the same form factor, and 18:9 aspect ratio.

Which one of these phones would you guys go with?

Let me know in the description section.

If you plan on getting any of these phones, I will really appreciate if you get them from

Which Liverpool centre-back is winning the race to partner Virgil van Dijk? - Duration: 9:29.

Which Liverpool centre-back is winning the race to partner Virgil van Dijk?

Virgil van Dijk is now Liverpools undisputed first-choice centre-back, but who will be the Dutchmans defensive partner moving forward?.

Van Dijk made an eye-opening £75 million switch to Anfield from Southampton in January, smashing the clubs record transfer fee.

It hasnt been a faultless start at Liverpool for the 26-year-old, but as we touched upon last month, patience will be required to begin with.

A memorable match-winning debut against Everton was followed up by shaky showings in the losses to Swansea City and West Brom, but there should be no concerns over him not justifying the price tag.

Van Dijk is unquestionably the first defender on Klopps team-sheet long term, but there are question marks over who will become established as his partner.

Lovren, Matip or Klavan?.

Liverpool have been crying out for a good centre-back duo for over a decade now, since the peak years of Sami Hyypia and Jamie Carragher.

The addition of Van Dijk will shore things up immeasurably once he fully adjusts to life in a Red shirt, but he cant do it all himself, as recent weeks have shown.

With stability required, Klopp must decide who is best suited to slot in alongside him for the foreseeable future: Dejan Lovren, Joel Matip or Ragnar Klavan.

It is not an easy decision, with all three Liverpool defenders flawed, but also capable of putting in excellent displays on their day.

Lovren is arguably the favourite at the moment—something that felt improbable back in October.

The Croatians horrific showing in the 4-1 loss at Tottenham saw him replaced before half-time, and there appeared to be no way back for him at Liverpool.

There are still major doubts over Lovren—being dependable is the minimum requirement for a Reds player—but it would be very unfair not to applaud his response since that abominable afternoon at Wembley.

He has been largely good in the three months that have followed, with Tuesdays performance at Huddersfield another assured 90 minutes.

Lovren has made no key errors in the league since his Spurs nightmare, winning 52 per cent of his duels, and he has cut out the moments of stupidity.

The 28-year-old feels like someone who could quietly do an effective job alongside a world-class centre-back; Van Dijk is certainly in and around that category, at his best.

Matip has been viewed as Liverpools strongest central defender for most of his time at the club, but recently, sizeable cracks have started to appear.

The former Schalke favourite has not looked convincing at all, and given his giant frame, he has cut a timid figure—someone you wouldnt go into the trenches with.

Matip often looks far too relaxed, and as soon as a physical battle comes his way he seems to shrink.

His style feels too similar to Van Dijks; can you succeed with two laid-back figures at the heart of the defence?.

The Cameroonian has his plus points, though, and it may be that he is just suffering an extended run of poor form.

He has achieved a 89 per cent passing accuracy despite being willing to play more incisive, risky passes than Lovren, and he is not as prone to producing baffling mistakes.

Concentration seems to be his main issue.

Matip showed during an immaculate display against Man City that he can excel when he wants to, but he is not justifying a guaranteed starting place at present.

If he doesnt find another gear, he is in danger or warming the bench regularly as the business end of the season approaches.

Meanwhile, you have to feel a little sorry for Klavan, who may not even get a look-in now, given Van Dijks preference for adopting a left-sided berth.

The veteran has been the Reds most consistent centre-back in 2017/18, and his dramatic winning goal against Burnley only helped enhance his cult hero status at Anfield.

Klavan is 33 later this year, however, and partnering him with Van Dijk would only act as a short-term move, which Liverpool dont want.

He can still come in and do a job when called upon, but Klopp needs to be taking a punt on one of Klavans younger teammates, much like he has with Loris Karius in goal.

It is Lovren who deserves the nod at present, but history suggests his latest disaster might not be a million miles away.

Looking ahead, however, do any of them really justify being starters for such a big club?.

Someone else?.

If Liverpool want to become a trophy-winning team again, Klopp should be encouraged to add to his defensive options this summer.

Essentially, this period between now and the end of the season will be an audition for the current centre-backs, as they attempt to show they should be persevered with in the coming years.

Unless something fairly drastic happens, though, none of Lovren, Matip and Klavan are good enough, and the team could grow so much from having a more formidable presence next to Van Dijk.

Top class defenders are at a premium these days, with many of them tied down at their current clubs, but there are still superior options available.

Lazios Stefan de Vrij has been linked in the past and would be a noticeable improvement, while Daniele Rugani, playing for Juventus, is a highly-rated youngster who may be tempted by the offer of more regular football.

Real Madrids Spain international Nacho is another example that springs to mind, and looking closer to home, could Klopp be willing to gamble on a young Englishman such as Leicester Citys Harry Maguire?.

Joe Gomez deserves a mention in a long-term sense, but the youngster is still a long way from being the finished product, especially centrally.

All of this will be decided in the summer, and for now, it is about finding the right partner for Van Dijk for the remainder of this season.

In a lot of ways, Klavan would be the deserved recipient, but he is left-sided and ageing, and Klopp would learn nothing new from sticking him in.

It has to be Lovren or Matip, for all their respective faults, with the former edging ahead as things stand.
