Hello everyone! Welcome to a new video series known as "Quick Tips". This is the first episode of many more to come

Today's tip is to get the original resolution for DS games for the 3DS.

If you didn't know, the 3DS's resolution for DS

games is upscaled rather than being the crisp and clean

resolution of the DS. So that's why many DSgames look piss and poor on the 3DS. This will fix that problem.

So first you want to hold the "Select Button", and then hit the "A" button.

And there you go, you now have the original size of the DS.

Let's now do a comparison between the DS Lite and the 3DS.

I'm now going to load up uh....

It's now loaded. Okay now to gonna grab my DS Lite.

How to make a Fat Quarter Storage Box with Scrap Rope Part 2 of 2 - Duration: 9:34.

hi and welcome to the Darvanalee Design Studio, my name's Nicole Reed and today

in part two of our two-part series we're going to take our rope that we made last

week and turn it into this gorgeous fat quarter storage box so let's get started

alrighty, so I'm assuming that you've already made your rope from last week's

tutorial and I'll link that up in the description down below there are a few

other things that you're going to need today so first of all you're going to

definitely need a hot glue gun and also some spare glue sticks just in case you

need them okay you're also going to need some scissors you're also going to need

some sort of storage solution like box so this one here is a kid's shoe box

from one of my daughters and you can see here that fat quarters fit into it quite

nicely so that's what it's going to be used for on my shelf and two of these

actually sit side by side nicely on a bookshelf so let's get started on this

okay so now I'm assuming that you have plugged in your glue gun and you're

ready to go mine is still heating up it should be just about ready to start

coming out yeah it's that's it it's ready to go you'll need to have some

sort of plastic mat or something like that so you don't get hot glue all over

your tablecloth or anything like that you're going to need your rope and

you're going to need a box now we're going to start first of all by just you

can see here I've got the little bit of a knot there okay I'm actually going to

undo that now it was just to get the rope started okay so you can see it's

still staying together and I'm just going to twist that all the way to the

end and underneath it I'm just going to on between the two strands I'm just

going to put a little piece little um dollar sorry of hot glue so just a

little bit and I'm just going to pinch those two pieces together and you can

see it's sort of flattened it down this is perfect for getting this started so

that's our start point and I generally start in this corner here so on the

shortest part and it doesn't matter if your box is a little bit damaged because

the ropes going to cover it so on this in this corner on a short side down the

bottom I'm actually going to start by placing

the rope right along the edge which means that half of this is going to go

underneath so you can see that it's going to wrap like that so that's how

we're going to get started so what you do is you put a dollop of glue just

around and a little bit along right along the edge and you quickly before it

dries place your twine right on the corner there and that way it's going to

hold in place so you can see that so you can see that it's gone around underneath

and it's up the side but it's flush along the edge here so what we're going

to do is just keep adding some hot glue you don't have to go right along I just

put a couple little little dots here and there and just bring it along now hold

it in place and then we come around to the next side and we repeat so you can

see I'm just putting a little bit like a trigger of glue all the way to the end

and I get my twine and I just pop that on there and that is enough hot glue to

hold that in place and you want it to be a little bit taut as well you don't want

it to be loose and be careful that the glue is hot and it will ooze out a

little bit at the bottom but we can pick that off a bit later once you feel that

that has set and you can move on to the next side then you just roll it around

and when we get around to where we started I'll show you what we do just

put a little bit of pressure on it and it'll just hold it in place you can see

there it's not coming apart and we just keep going around always making sure

that on your corners you do put a dollop of glue because that if anything that is

where it's going to slip from okay so we're back to where we started

from so what I want you to do is put a dollop of glue just there okay doesn't

have to be a large one and that will get it to come around okay and we just keep

going along the edge of that last row so I just use it bet I don't push the

trigger on the glue gun all the way in so it's about half way and I push it and

that's just enough of a dollop to adhere this down and you want it probably about

half an inch to three quarters of an inch I probably go three quarters of an

inch of a gap between each squirt so you can see there it's just starting to come

together nicely as I said always put a squirt in when you're turning a corner

of hot glue and that way you can make sure that it is holding in place now you

would have seen just then that I push I had a bit of glue it was higher than

where the rope was going to end so I just grabbed it and pushed it down and

slipped the glue down with the rope and you can see that's just a heat in place

and you can't even see the glue so we just keep going

so we're coming up to our last row now

making sure that we've got enough on the corners giving him a really good squeeze

so they're down okay

okay so I'm up to here where I this is where it's going to end so what I want

to do the same is how I began it I just want to snip that little bit off

so just get a little bit of glue hot glue it just separate the the twine a

bit so I've cut it off and I've just separated it and what I'm

going to do is just put a little bit of glue just a tiny little bit and then

twine that back around on itself so that doesn't come apart and then just just

where I've got to finish it I just put another little top up of glue

and that will just hold it nicely in place okay so you can see these little

bits here what I do now is I just go along with my scissors and I just snip

those off I didn't snip them off earlier because

sometimes they add to the character of it's just what you know the character of

the project that you're doing but I just wanted to make sure that they weren't

going to be I didn't want to cut them and then cut them too close and then

they come apart which it shouldn't if you've rounded on properly but just in

case but there you go so that is our little water box

MMT | Tutorial: How to make a cork earbud holder - Duration: 4:02.

Hey guys, it's MMT here, today

I'll be showing you how to make an earbud holder out of a cork.

The materials you will need are a cork, your earbuds, and a screwdriver.

First we'll have to make a hole so the aux connector can get in the cork. if you have a lightning cord,

Then you can use one of these screwdrivers.

Since it fits in.

If you have a normal one,

You can use one of these screwdrivers.

Find the very middle of the cork, and then just start pushing in,

with little twists. Just keep on going. Make sure it's in the middle though, because otherwise it might break the outsides of the cork.

You don't have to go too far because otherwise it'll be too loose

and it won't fit in well just enough so you can push it in and it won't fall out with any tugging.

Next, on the opposite side of the cork,

You need to make an incision,

about halfway, like right there.

Now to widen that cut so your ear buds can fit through it.

Put it near to it, right next to it, just to widen it out.

Cut it until you have it to about like this.

And then get your at your buds and try fitting them through, both strands. See if they will fit.

If you need to, just make your your slit a little bigger,

but if they're good,

then move on to the next step.

I'll show you how to wrap the earbuds are on the cork with two different types of earbuds.

One without volume control and one with volume control, I'll start with without.

Grab the earbuds like this, and then slide them through,

and start wrapping.

Once you get to here, wrap them around the heads,

And put it in the hole.

The earbuds with volume control are much harder to get on.

Turn your cork like that and slide it over.

Put them at about

just like this, and wrap

the buds over like that. Take this,

and start wrapping it around.

Once you have about this much left, wrap it around the buds and plug it in.

So this is how I wrap my earbuds. I'm sure there's many other ways,

Depending on how big your cork is, and how long your earbuds are. You can also use the cork idea for other wires,

like this aux connector, and I even used it for that annoying Apple dongle for you iPhone users out there,

hi welcome to Saras kitchen today I wanted to share easy and simple mango pickle recipe

for this we need to select firm and sour mangoes

wash the mangoes well and dry with a kitchen towel

cut the mangoes into small pieces with skin on

take 1 spoon of mustard and fenugreek seeds dry roast it, cool it and make it as a coarse powder

now roasted fenugreek and mustard seeds powder is ready to use

add salt

add chili powder

over the cut mangoes and mix well

Heat the pan add sesame oil

when the oil reaches the smoking point add mustard seeds,

when mustard seeds sputters add hing or asafoetida,

add turmeric powder

pour the hot oil into the Mango

mix well

now add fenugreek and mustard seeds powder

mix it well

mix it well, cool and cover it and set it aside in a dry place for 24hours

after 24 hours you see the yummy pickle is ready transfer it into a glass jar and store it in the refrigerator

I used a switch for controlling the circuit

Fuses are used before regulators so that when load draws more current

fuse will open the circuit and will save the circuit

As we can have a lot of outputs from power supply so for every load seperate fuse has been used

Leds were used at output to see if required voltage is coming or not

Double check capacitors value before going for hardware

I have used 7805 to convert 12v to 5v

I have used LD117 to convert 12v to 3.3v

have used 7809 to convert 12v to 9v

We can take 2 outputs from one regulator.Don't go for more than 2 otherwise u have to compromise on current

father, grand father, grand child relationship

in the colonial time or in an atmospere with colonail issue

i want to first find out what is about this book

please tell us how you work with your organization to better the image of African people?

you want to know how i can better the image of Africans with my organization

this is a good question

i will say it in another way

the aim of my magazine is not to better the image of Africans

my aim is to present the literature that we produce

it is two different things

i want people, expecially the Africans to read what we write, simple

African image is good the way it is, there is no need to make it better

we just have to be the way we are

we don't need to apologise for anything

if we want to move more forward

then we must take over the media and the tools that are available out there

and use the structure to say what we want to say

There is no image be polished

you only repair things that are bad

i dont feel that way

do you think we are now telling our story and is the west listening?

i don't care what the west think about me

what is important is how we African see ourselves

are we strong enough with our worth

to over come all the barriers in this world

for that we don't need someone else to tell us if we are good or bad

when we continue like this and wait for the west to always tell us we are good

that means our worth and standard is of the west

my standard is not of the west, east, north or whatever

i am how i am, i am myself

people out there have to accept it

and i am not begging

i am not begging, it is like that

they either accept it or not

expecially the discussion with the public

it is alwasy interesting to hear what others are thinking

sometimes we are in our own world and think i know all

but it is always interesting to see how others react to this book or comments

maybe i can learn something from that

of oil spread the oil across the pan like that once the oil is hot add the

egg yolks batter to the pan so put in all of that batter and spread the

vegetables with the help of a spoon let it cook for about 20 to 30 seconds so

much that the cover looks cooked and then with the help of a spatula you know

start rolling it like this

take a help of a fork if you need to to make sure that the roll doesn't fall off

so let just like that form a roll and then take it on the side of a pan now

start adding the egg whites mixture like that on the side of the yolk batter so

that it sticks together let it cook for about 15 to 20 seconds just spread it

like this

now you're gonna follow the same pattern and then with the help of a spatula and

fork just start forming the roll so just continue doing it you know take it on

the side and you know start rolling and take this roll on the side and then put

in all the remaining egg whites mixture

spread it if you need to like that and then again we are gonna let it cook for

about ten to fifteen seconds till the top kind of is cooked and then continue

forming the rule so look at how beautifully our egg roll has formed

that's perfect it's complete now let it go for 30 or 40

seconds and let it take out an ax plate

here is our beautiful Egg Roll ready we are going to let it cool down for about

four to five minutes now it's cool down let's take off those edges and then cut

it into pieces like these as wide as the width of a finger so just cut them off

like these but I'll show you how we are gonna form the heart shape with this cut

piece so just take it out of the plate and give it a cut in between diagonally

so very gradually cut it like that take out the other side and you know turn it

upside down to make a heart shape like this look at that beautiful heart shape

that is formed

let's continue doing the same for these other card pieces as well so just again

cut it in between diagonally and turn it upside down to form the heart shape

so now our cute heart-shaped cake snacks are ready look at how beautiful they
