As the Justice League takes heat from all angles, we learn about their biggest fan.
He talks about his buddy Diesel who was once saved by the League. Later they saved him
too, and he went on to serve in the military. But today he's kidnapped Simon Baz. Critical
of there being too many lanterns, he's managed to get the ring off Baz's finger.
Meanwhile Jessica gives Batman an earful for sending Baz into danger dressed as Bruce.
While that's going on, Regina Cole appears on the Roland Knox program defending the Justice
League. Back in St Louis, Jessica walks into the bar that Cyborg tracked their latest subject
to. She find a a note and the building explodes - destroying the evidence of his being there
but not before Jess got a snapshot of the crime scene.
At the Fan's apartment, he explains to Baz his goal is to drain his ring to rid the world
of more Lanterns. While on the Watchtower, Simon reflects on his ability to one day lead
the team. He's interrupted by news that the perpetrator has infiltrated their systems
while Flash's assistance hurts more than it helps.
Baz finally overpowers the inhibitor, but as he tries to put the ring back on, realizes
it was never off his finger to begin with. He takes to the air informing the League of
the guy's intentions, while the fan lands on Knox's set dressed as another Green Lantern.
His shot is deflected by Wonder Woman in disguise, later seeing Aquaman, Batman, and Jessica
on set as well. But just as they figure out what's going on, he begins to beam them out.
What will happen next? We'll have to wait for what's next as this issue is left to
be continued. I don't think it's any surprise that I'm
completely enamored with Priest's writing here. For what seems like forever, this book
has been playing it safe... Not being at all edgy and taking no chances. It's no doubt
that it was ripe for some changes and what a change it's been. The Fan is going to
be an interesting foe for this team and I can't wait to see how he wraps it up. I
give this one a 9/10. If you like this video, there's hundreds more

�Cats lay quietly through the other stages of sleep, and when REM began, they leapt up,
stalked, pounced, arched their backs and hissed.
They looked like they were hunting mice in their dreams.�
But they do have some idea about what goes on in the mind of a dog while it sleeps.
�What we�ve basically found is that dogs dream doggy things,� author of �Do Dogs
Dream?� Stanley Coren told Live Science.
�So, pointers will point at dream birds, and Dobermans will chase dream burglars.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 is Here - Duration: 6:25.
- Hey guys, this is Austin.
I recently got the chance to head out to San Francisco
to get a sneak peek at the brand new
Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus.
Design wise, it's definitely an evolution over the Galaxy S8
so just like when you went from the S6 to the S7,
it wasn't a huge difference,
on the surface the S9 looks very similar.
I'm definitely not going to complain.
The S8 already had one of the nicest looking designs
on the market, and here, we're keeping
that same infinity display that's going to be about
15% brighter as well as with some slightly smaller bezels.
Evolution, not revolution.
Amazingly enough, something else that carries over
is the headphone jack.
Yes, my friend, you heard correctly.
This is a flagship for 2018
which has a headphone jack.
For real though, props to Samsung for keeping it around.
While pretty much everyone has abandoned it,
a lot of people still really do appreciate
having a headphone jack,
and with the S9, it's going to be
one of the only high end options with one.
In fact, the audio side of things
has seen an upgrade across the board,
as Samsung took a page out of the iPhone playbook
and switched over to stereo speakers.
What they've done is combine the standard
bottom firing speaker from the S8
with the speaker grill that's going to give you
a decent sounding stereo setup.
Now it's not going to be quite as nice sounding
as the iPhone X or Pixel,
but it is a huge improvement over the previous generation.
In my brief time with the S9, it sounds pretty good.
And on top of that, you're going to be getting
Dolby Atmos support,
so this works not only with the speakers
as well as the headphone jack.
And while for normal stuff, it's not going to sound amazing,
it is cool to have that codec built in.
Something else improved this time around
is the fingerprint sensor.
After basically every tech reviewer on the planet
complained about the Galaxy S8 as well as the Note 8,
it has now been moved below the camera.
In addition to moving it,
it is also now a little bit raised,
so especially when you're just trying to
reach the fingerprint sensor from the back
without looking at it, it's much easier to find.
The S9 is going to be available in three colors
here in the US, black, blue, and pink.
Personally, I like the look of the blue,
especially when the light hits it,
I think it looks really, really nice.
But in a lot of international markets,
you're also going to get a gray option.
The rest of the design should look very similar.
You're still getting USB-C, fast wireless charging,
as well as IP68 water resistance.
Look, it is definitely not some huge overhaul,
but Samsung took pretty much everything that was good
about the Galaxy S8
and just cranked it up to 11 with the S9.
Two big thumbs up for me.
Inside, you're getting the brand new
Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor
with four gigs of RAM on the S9 and six gigs on the S9 Plus.
Not only is this going to be
the first phone launching with it,
but you're also going to be getting
a 25 to 35% performance improvement.
I'll have to take a closer look
when I get the S9 in for review,
but based on first impressions, it's blisteringly fast.
Although that shouldn't exactly be a surprise
because that's basically every flagship
from the last few years.
Now the software is still very much in evolution
of the Samsung skin on Android.
It's fine, it's usable,
it's not something that's going to be a deal breaker,
but it is going to be nowhere near as clean
as what you're going to find on the Pixel.
Bixby is also back and improved
with the same wonderful Bixby button.
So there's a few improvements,
so you can now use Google Translate to translate text live
as opposed to taking a photo.
But for the most part, I think everyone's
just going to ignore it and use Google Assistant,
or at least that's what I'm gonna do.
One thing that hasn't really been improved is battery life.
So the sizes are going to be the exact same,
3000 milliamp hours on the S9 and 3500 on the S9 Plus.
Now unless they've gotten some crazy efficiency boosts,
it's going to be fairly similar to last year,
which is to say, decent but not spectacular,
especially in a world where the iPhone X and Pixel 2 XL
can easily last all day and then some.
The screen, on the other hand, is still phenomenal.
So it's very similar to last year's phones,
which is to say, about as good as it gets on a phone today.
So it's going to be a little bit brighter,
about 15% or so on the max brightness,
but for the most part, it's going to be right up there
with the very best that you could buy.
One of the most exciting updates is with the camera.
So while the S8 had basically the same camera from the S7,
the new Galaxy S9 is going to have an all new camera sensor
as well as it's going to be getting a telephoto option
if you jump up to the Galaxy S9 Plus.
The coolest party trick is an adjustable aperture.
So this is typically found on higher end cameras.
What this is going to allow you to do
is actually adjust the amount of light coming into the shot.
So you have two options here, f/1.5 or f/2.4.
Now unlike a normal camera,
you don't have any options in between,
but it is really nice to be able to have
at least some flexibility when you take a shot.
So, for example, when you open it all the way up,
it's going to be a little bit softer.
You're letting a lot more light in in a low light situation.
Whereas where you're out here on a nice bright day,
you might want to close it down a little bit
to get that extra bit of sharpness.
Speaking of low light,
there are also some other improvements
including taking up to eight shots
and combining them into one
to be able to get better noise processing
as well as they have a little demo set up
where you can actually see some of the low light photos
in action.
And it was very, very dark,
so it looked pretty decent.
But of course, this is something I'm going to have to try
when I get it in for a full review.
Now with the pro mode,
not only do you have the normal options
to be able to adjust things like shutter speed and ISO,
but you also can adjust the aperture here.
But on top of that, there's also a new mode,
super slow motion, which will record
at up to 960 frames per second.
The way it works is that it will start recording
standard 720p video at a normal frame rate
and then either when you manually trigger it
or you can set up a zone that will automatically trigger
when it detects motion,
it will record a quick burst of 960 frame per second video.
And while it's not going to be
the sharpest thing in the world,
you can do some really cool things with this.
And it's all made possible by the fact that this new sensor
has memory stacked actually on top of it,
very similar to some of the Sony stuff
and for example the RX100 Mark V.
Now this does mean that you can't exactly set it
to 960 frames per second and let it do
super slow motion all day long,
but when you get those short little bursts
with standard video around it,
even though it's not the sharpest thing in the world,
you get some really cool effects.
Video on the whole is actually pretty impressive.
So, in addition to your standard 1080p and 4K modes,
which the 4K actually now goes up to 60 frames per second,
but you're also going to be getting two options to record,
either to H.264 or the new and more efficient HEVC codec.
Now as far as the telephoto camera on the Galaxy S9 Plus,
it's fine.
It's not exactly going to be great.
In some of the portrait mode shots I took
actually aren't that impressive looking,
but for the most part, the standard camera on the S9
and the S9 Plus is going to look phenomenal.
Samsung is also introducing a brand new
revolutionary feature called AR Emoji.
So totally unlike Animoji on the iPhone X,
this uses the front facing camera
to paste a very, very scary version of your face on an emoji
which then will be hilariously shared out
not only as a photo or video if you want to record that
but as a series of stickers that go to your camera roll.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 will be available for pre-orders
starting on March 2nd and will be going on sale on the 16th.
Now yes, it is not going to be a huge update
over the Galaxy S8,
but there was a lot of nice little improvements here
that does actually add up to a pretty nice looking package.

FL Shooting A school shooter who should have been locked
up or mentally treated was able to legally buy an assault rifle and shoot up a Florida
high school.
It was a crime that could have been prevented if authorities acted on all the red flags,
but there was no such luck.
17 people were murdered at the Stoneman Douglas high school and much more were injured.
As people weep and mourn the loss of life, there are others who are merely irritated
that the entire crime was able to happen.
Even worse, and this could be the worst part of it all, was that a reported 1-4 resource
officers were just standing by watching it happen, afraid to do their job and protect
the students.
The crime should not have occurred in the first place, but when the paid officers who
sign up to protect and serve the school stand outside while the shooter goes inside to murder
people, then that blood is on the hands of the guard/s who failed to do their job.
The Florida school shooting has caused a stir in the American economy as well.
The National Rifle Association (NRA) is connected to many businesses across the country.
The NRA supports specific companies who then offer a discounted rates on services to NRA
members.
The business connections range from travel to everyday shopping and also to credit cards
and banking.
The NRA is now being shot down by some of the previous business connections and no longer
offering discounts for services to NRA members.
This has multiple NRA members in a state of shock as they feel as though they're being
punished for the actions of a mass murderer, even though there's no connection between
the NRA and Nikolas Cruz, the young man who shot and killed 17 people in the Florida school
shooting.
Think Progress has taken the initiative to contact numerous businesses owned by the NRA
and ask them if they'll continue to offer discounted services to NRA members.
The result has been that many companies severed their connection with the NRA and its members.
NRA members doing business with these companies will do so at the regular price and no longer
take advantage of a group-based discounted rate.
Diana Ofosu has produced this image which acts as a visual checklist of the companies
still doing business with the NRA, and also of those who've cut ties.
Companies with a red strike are no longer serving discounts to NRA members.
Think Progress reported: "Much like AARP or AAA, the organization
promotes its discounts for members as a selling point for why people should join.
The "valuable 5-star benefits" promised include not just a subscription to an NRA
magazine and a gun-owner liability protection policy but also savings on insurance, identity
theft protection, hearing aids, car rentals, moving vans, shipping, and even wine.
While some of these perks are provided by in-house subsidiaries, many are offered through
corporate partners — including some household names.
After the shooting in Parkland, Florida, the NRA has been the focus of renewed national
attention, as the group continues to successfully block any legislation to curb gun violence
on the national level.
Dallas' mayor pro tem told the NRA Monday that the group will be "met with opposition"
if it holds its scheduled May conference in his city.
And over the weekend, hundreds of people gathered outside the group's Virginia headquarters
to hold a vigil and protest.
ThinkProgress asked more than two dozen corporations that offer incentives to NRA members whether
they plan to continue their relationships with the gun lobby.
A growing number of those companies have ended their relationship with the NRA since this
list was initially published."
Does this mean that people should boycott the businesses merely because they no longer
support the NRA?
No, it does not.
In fact, if you're not in the NRA or don't own a gun, then it doesn't affect you at
all.
There may be a battle between NRA members and these businesses, but for the most part,
it won't affect anyone else.
Continue to do your business at the locations that you enjoy and do not allow political
issues to interrupt your daily routines.
If you're in the NRA and this had a direct impact on you, and you'd like to cease doing
business with a particular company, then that is your prerogative and American freedom to
do so.
American people decide where they spend their hard-earned money.
All readers should keep in mind that there is nothing wrong with owning a gun, and there's
nothing wrong with not owning a gun.
People have their preferences, and that is perfectly acceptable in America.
What is not entirely satisfactory is for a business to cut ties with another company
over a crime that they did not commit.
Does it make sense for some businesses to cut ties with the NRA members discount clubs
because of a bad person who committed a crime that had nothing to do with the previously
established business connections?
Businesses should not ties with the NRA because the NRA is not responsible for the crime of
some random troubled young male.
There are millions of legal gun owners doing a great job being responsible and following
the law, so they should not be punished for the actions of the very few who break the
law.
That's simply not a smart business move for these companies to make because it could
result in a boycott of varying levels.
The businesses who cut off the NRA are like a single person boycotting the entire supermarket
because there was one lousy shopper in the fruit aisle who kept passing gas.
The whole place doesn't stink, it's just that one person.
If anything, this will irritate law-abiding gun owners who could react by purchasing more
guns.
Looks like the businesses who boycott the gun owners will put more guns on the street.
I don't believe they thought this through very well.

Some people are doubtful, saying: What kind of saint was he? He rejected the throne, destroyed the country, was a weak ruler, etc. (inaccurate stereotypes)
Let's review, once again, how Christians understand "sainthood" and why the Church made the decision to name Nicholas II a saint.
A saint is NOT a person who never sinned. A saint is definitely not someone who never made mistakes.
The Bible directly states that no man has ever lived, who has not sinned (Ecclesiastes 7:20: For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not).
A saint is someone who always strains towards God, becomes near to God, and, by the strength of God's Grace, defeats evil in himself and in the surrounding world.
The Holy Martyrs are people who were faced with the choice between keeping their own lives and being faithful to Christ.
They chose faith to Christ and lost their lives.
The Confessors are people who openly preached the faith during persecutions.
The Holy Unmercenaries are saints who exhibited extraordinary charity and generosity in the name of the Christian faith
Nicholas II and his family were canonized (made saints) as Passion-bearers. (A Passionbearer is someone who faced his death in a Christ-like manner.)
Passion-bearers die and suffer not for the explicit reason that they are Christians.
They are people were killed innocently, with no fault, but yet maintained an attitude of Christian meekness and love towards their persecutors and murderers, thus fulfilling God's commandment.
An example of this love, of this meek approach to ones' torturers, was given to us by Christ Himself.
Having been completely innocent on the Cross of Golgotha, Christ pronounced the words that totally changed the course history of humanity,
The soldiers that had just crucified Christ were standing around the cross.
They didn't understand at all what had just happened, they didn't understand WHO was dying on the Cross.
They sat around the scene of violence and suffering, and threw lots for would take which article of Christ's clothing home.
Yet Christ said "Lord, forgive them. They know not what they do."
Emperor Nicholas and his entire family meekly, patiently accepted their unfair persecution,
the surrounding unjust criticism and hate, the harsh treatment they received, and their violent, brutal death.
It's well known that the Emperor was offered the chance to leave the country,
he could have agreed to escape a horrifying end and save his own life and the life of other members of the family.
But he consciously decided not to.
He consciously remained in the country; (he believed it was his duty).
Nicholas II and his family have been named saints, because they accepted their sufferings and trials in a Christian manner;
because they met death at the hands of those, who were moved by hatred and anger, with Christlike love and patience.
On the eve of the terrifying murder in Ipatyev house, Nicholas II's eldest daughter, the Grand Duchess Olga wrote:
"Father asks the following message to be given to all those who have remained faithful to him,
and to those on whom they may still have influence, that they should not attempt to take revenge for him,
since he has forgiven everyone and prays for everyone.
He wants them to remember that the evil which is now in the world will become even stronger,
but that evil will never conquer evil, but only Love..."
Evil will not conquer evil, but only Love.

Danny is one of the most popular members of the Emmerdale cast thanks to his portrayal of Aaron Dingle.
In last nights Emmerdale, Aaron made the decision to ditch doctor Alex Mason (Steven Flynn) and get back with his husband Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley).
Its been the moment many Robron fans have been waiting for and ended in plenty of happy tears for the characters.
But it seems not everyone online was as excited as Danny and his fans, as he revealed hed been subjected to some seriously offensive language.
Sharing a screenshot of an email from Twitter in which he had reported a user – who seems to have since been suspended – he shared his outrage.
"Wont be on here much longer I can tell you that" Danny Miller The email told Danny that the report had been reviewed but the user had apparently not violated Twitters rules.
Danny tweeted: Honestly Twitter, sort your s***.
To say that the word f***** isnt offensive.
And to say its not abusive behaviour when this is my sixteenth complaint about the same dead leg with a different account.
