The Hangout Restaurant - Live Music, Food, And Family Fun In Gulf Shores Alabama! Great Beach Too! - Duration: 7:27.

This is The Hangout in

Gulf Shores Alabama.

Oh, look at the the giant chair there! Isn't that cool!

There's live entertainment at the Hangout.

And every year they have the Hangout Fest. It's a big outdoor music festival.

They have hair braiding.

T-shirts, hats.

Bubble things.

Ahhhhhh, mermaid dolls.

More waiting places.

And another bar.

Jenga!

Donna's in the big chair.

This is over in the kid's section.

They have bungee jumping. They sell snow cones.

My gosh, look at all the toys on the wall behind you!

They're like everywhere,

all across this entire wall is toys.

And it's of every kind.

Yeah, they said it would be two hours and a half,

but we got seated in about maybe 15 minutes.

She had said maybe actually an hour, hour and 15 minutes,

but I think because there was only two of us, we seated a lot quicker.

Yeah, but otherwise I would come about, what, 4:30, 4:00? Yeah, you could put your name. 5?

But some guy said he'd been here an hour already,

so he would've came around 5.

So maybe even come at 4:00 depending on when you want to eat.

They said they had some big parties outside, so there was no more seating left outside.

The indoor dining area is huge.

Seats a lot of people.

It's also got like this huge ceiling fan that keeps the air moving.

It's really cool in here it feels about 30 degrees cooler than outside.

What I want to know now is, "Where Are All Of My Moms At?"

And the shakes good, real good.

And they have a foam party, every hour on the hour. It's awesome!

You don't have to

be a kid to get in there...but it's mostly kids!

What is that?

It's actually popcorn shrimp.

It's shrimp on top of popcorn!

I didn't know that's what it was gonna be! That's great!

I started laughing when I got it!

That's great! And I just got the chicken tenders with fries. And we got our food

really pretty quick.

There's the popcorn.

That's a great meal!

Down at the bottom. Yeah, there's the popcorn.

That's great - that's an awesome idea!

So, popcorn shrimp, on top of fries, on top of popcorn. Good job, Hangout!

It's like a 10 out of 10.

And I really like my chicken tenders, too, so good food.

Ok, so I'm gonna go out and see what the kids are doing.

That's the bungee trampoline at the Hangout. $9 for one ride for three minutes.

Purchase tickets at the bus.

Wow, they go pretty high!

Like a tunnel they can crawl through in the sand.

Hula hoops.

Little chairs where they can sit and relax.

There's a little boat they can play in.

And we're gonna go over and see what they have at the bus.

There's no Buhgee Jump height requirement, no age requirement. Minimum weight is 20 pounds,

max weight is 180 pounds.

They have Spider-man popsicles here, Captain America,

and Ninja Turtle, Tweety and Minions.

It's $4.00 for the ice cream bars.

The soft serve is $5.50. Sodas are $3.00. Ice cream is $4.95.

Snow cones are $4.50.

And they've got a nice gift shop at the Hangout.

It's pretty big. They've got all kinds of stuff.

Of course, t-shirts. And dinosaurs!

I saw somebody walking a shark. They had one of those toys.

Big wall of t-shirts.

Guess our grandson is gonna get a shark on a leash! If you can get it away from Grandma.

It's so much fun!

Grandma found something she wanted.

And right across from the Hangout is this really nice stretch of public beach.

Really pretty here!

So before or after you eat at The Hangout,

you could come and enjoy the beach.

It was fun! It was, wow, like off the roof busy! I couldn't believe it.

And like the girl in the gift shop said, this is

kind of quiet for a Monday.

Seemed anything but quiet!

Yeah they were running around like crazy just filling orders

Steampunk Party Thrift Haul with my Family - Duration: 17:50.

Good day everyone. I'm StyleHunterFox, I'm Koofaloofa and I'm daHOOT! And this is our colourful life!

It's daHOOT's 13th birthday very very soon! And one of her

favorite things in the world is Steampunk. Steampunk! So it's a steampunk party.

We've been thrifting like crazy to get ready for this party and not all of this

has been just for the party. Some was thrifted before because we just have

always loved steampunk. Lots of it has been from the Salvation Army

yeah and some of it has been from some flea markets. Do you want to tell them

what that is? Well it's actually a massage machine but we repainted it to

look more like a robot and we've named it Plexi The Dot Bot.The Dot Bot! It's cute!

and it kind of moves around on the table. I think it needs some gears and stuff yeah yeah well we'll keep

adding. What's your favorite thing you bought so far? This! So that came from a

flea market, yeah this is a calendar, with pens sticking out the sides, yeah I'll get pen out. Pen!

so maybe we'll put some feathers on those pens. Oh NO! Uh oh,

more hot glue. That's okay. I like it. You like it? I like it too.

We also have this. It used to be just like a weird plastic gun we found at Salvation Army but I steampunkified it.

That's a word. so now it looks really cool. In our house that's a word. Yes

Oo oo oo, my goggles! Oh, the goggles. So they're welders goggles and they were just green show the inside yeah

they were just green at first but I steampunkified them put a whole bunch of gears and I like

this just lift them up and down yeah stuff! This is the highly intelligent pet

emulator or HYPE. Hype! I named it. turn him on. It needs some

steampunkification still. yeah this ear is broken his other ear is missing,

which is fine because maybe he's like a work in progress machine yeah he turns on and

he found just like moves his feet. He's cute! so this is like a weather predicter thing

thing this has humidity and and air pressure and temperature but we

saw it and we saw the gauges and we thought it was really steampunk and cool

also from Salvation Army, yeah. This is a lamp and it looks like an Asian

lamp so I want it in my room and apparently we're using it for the party

and I like the tassels you like the tassels? I do. I like tassels.

yeah, so does Owliver. Owliver likes tassels? Owliver was discovered

today on our steampunk thrifting adventures yeah.

daHOOT might like owls. we're not sure but we're pretty sure. It's in my name! So d'uh, she likes owls. Owliver!!

So this is the lantern that I found last year and I think I bought it for you for Christmas. I think so. I know this box was for my

Christmas yeah yeah this was part of your Christmas present so was this blouse

and the brooch. There was a theme to her gift at Christmas. Lots of steampunk coolness.

this stopwatches I like stopwatches. Stopwatches? Pocketwatches!

Oh yeah, that's what I meant. I like this ring because it opens

up like you're hiding some secret potion inside. This, this is a cool ruler it

grows but then it grows some more and it's good! It's good, it's good we like

it. Neat old lamp from the flea market things that we're just gonna have in the

room as props that you might find in an inventor's workshop.

This is another weather thingymadoodle. It's a barometer. Bobadabae.

and this is a rusty wrench.You don't gotta screw the camera why not?

you wrench things. Tighten? I painted this! yeah it was a really weird blue. Now it

looks cool and old. yeah I'm not sure what we're doing with this yet. At least it's plastic! We should hang it from the ceiling. yeah

because I like light bulbs hanging from the ceiling oh okay

and this, I'm not sure what it is for but it'll be a cool part of a machine that

we create as a part of our set. and this is a fountain and then people just have

it somewhere bubbling in the corner machine noises because we'll need

machine noises. oh our outfits. Oh yes, you wanna talk about your outfit?

okay my outfit so there's this really cute jacket with a cute belt and then we

put this sack thingy on it with a gun in it. It's a holster. A hoba. Holster! It's a gun hoba! And I got these pants! I need my boots oh yeah

show what you bought today. So I also got these boots. they're really nice boots I like

them a lot Hey, should I magically put them on? sure yeah I put

them on now. Are you sure? You still have the price tags them. How much were they? Uh, $4.99. Nice!

So this is my outfit. As we mentioned earlier this blouse and brooch were a Christmas present from mom. she says

that this coat is thrifted, I don't know where it came from it was

in the basement. I'm also wearing a leopard print bubble skirt that I got

from Salvation Army awhile ago. It's cute. Yeah! so my outfit has many components there is a skirt first

of all underneath it has some pretty frills and then this dress that we just

picked up has a great color for steampunk and it's laced up the front and

then this is actually a mini skirt, a denim skirt but I thought it was neat to use as

like something that they would wear for their pockets stores some tools you know

being adventurers and inventors and whatnot. These are just random belts

that have been thrifted in the past as well this the bracelet was thrifted

maybe a year ago this is a belt that I've worn in a very different way to be

just a really neat steampunk accessory Hat was thrifted little vest actually

came with a dress but I use it more in other outfits than anything else so I

love it it's fun. Still winding this thing up. That is a really long tape measure. This could take awhile.

Magic I like this, pretty and steampunk. yeah they're super 70s. I remember stuff like that being in people's houses when I was

a kid that was the cool thing back then and then they became really not cool

and now they're sort of steampunk and kind of cool so we found them, we got

excited. This is the other key I like to air violin with them

it's perfect! And multiple uses, apparently. we pick this up it's a shower curtain actually so I don't know

if I'm just going to take it apart to use the ruffles for something or if

we're actually gonna put on a window we haven't figured that out yet but the

colour was great and the ruffles are awesome. Can I eat it? No, don't eat it. But I already ate it. You're weird! Thank you! You'r welcome. Weird is good in this

house! Yeah, it's a compliment around here. These curtains there's two of them we're going to somehow fashion these

into the base of the blimp part of an airship. We are? yeah. Cool! yeah it's gonna be your

airship. it should be interesting. I love the linen section of Salvation

Army because I find all sorts of cool stuff to use for our theme party so we

found that today

that is a beautiful globe. I'm just super excited about that it's just the right

colour yeah magic. so should we show off more stuff

that we bought today? okay yeah but first we're gonna have to clear off the table. yeah

it's pretty ful. 3 2 1! Ohh okay so we got some bags here because we went thrifting

today and it was super fun. we get really random things, this was in the kids

toys I don't know what it's supposed to be but it looks like a screw

thingy let's just spray-paint it how much is it? 49 cents 49 cents! so we got

this pretty awesome gun that we're gonna steampunkify. looks really cool. I'm super

excited about this one this was $2.99. Sweet! We also got this one $1.99 Oh awesome

it's so satisfying!

there a third one? yeah, we got three today. yeah that one looks so cool. Does it work? How'd you do that? I guess it works! It's $2.99!

So we made a steering wheel for the airship out of a styrofoam disk a styrofoam ring which were both spray

painted and these are metal barbeque skewers that we

found at thrift store last time and we just jam them through it's

easier said than done but how cool does that look? I'm really excited about this

so somehow and we'll put clock there and somehow we're gonna fasten it to

something so that it will spin. magic yeah I think it's amazing. so I found

this. You open it up, I think it's the kind of thing you would put an important book in

you know, have the pages open but I thought it was really interesting would kind of rustic

looking piece that I don't know what we're gonna

use it for or if we'll use it but I liked it

you know it was $2.99. None of us can figure out what this is, don't know 49 cents

sweet! it's a thingy

We got this. I didn't know we got this but apparently we got this. what is this? I

think it's actually for making coffee like Turkish coffee on the stove. interesting

Octopodes. How much were those?

49 cents so again we don't really know what they are but we'll use them for something and we

also got some glue sticks for 49 cents but who really cares about those? because well we

can never have too many glue sticks in this house. Am I right? So uh. We have a

bunch of necklaces yeah I'm gonna steampunkify them and we going to give

them to my friends yes so these will be their take-home gifts. We don't do goody bags,

or anything like that we're gonna make something really neat! Oh yay, I got them apart!

this pretty necklace it was $2.99. Lots of necklaces and of course we found

an owl

there's always an owl wherever we go it sort of makes the rest of u s a little

bit crazy like oh here's another owl. There's always like an owl or a fox but

my favorite animal is bunnies and Inever find any bunnies. yeah

they're pretty rare. so we have some we have some spray-painting to do and some

steampunkification of lots of stuff to do and this room is going to be

transformed into headquarters, yes, what's the society called?

Nox Society of innovation that's gonna be us for her party and we're all pretty excited! yeah we're gonna have

some giant cogs in here, gears. Do we have to say bye now? I think we're done we showed

but we're not there to be a part of it. That feeling of homesickness can suddenly hit you in the gut.

when you would give anything to be on that next plane home to be with your family again.

Hi everyone,

My name is Andrea Doherty, and I live in Africa as an expat with my husband and two kids.

So last week back in Canada, my sister gave birth to a baby girl.

I'm thrilled to be an Auntie again,

and my kids are so excited to have a new cousin. As excited as I am about having a new niece,

I don't yet know when I'm going to meet her, and that's really difficult because it's an important time in my sister's life,

and our family won't get to experience all the changes that will happen in that new baby's life over the next days, weeks, and months.

It's the price we pay to live away from family and friends back home,

and sometimes it really sucks. When we miss these important family events back home,

it's normal to suddenly feel feelings of sadness, feelings of missing out on what's happening there, feelings of resentment,

like, why do I have to be here? Why can't I be back home with my sister right now, holding that brand-new baby,

experiencing this very special time with them, rather than being here in Africa where I'm so isolated and far away from everything.

These feelings are perfectly normal because it is tough to feel like we're missing out,

but all we can do is make the most of the situation,

and use what we have available to us in order to stay in touch with my sister and with her new baby back home.

Skype, FaceTime, and WhatsApp, three of the best ways to stay visually connected to your family back home.

We are so fortunate to have these ways of communication, to not only talk to our family, but to actually see what they're doing, and

to show them what we're doing here. My kids and I were able to sit in front of the computer screen and see my sister

and her new baby as if we were all in the same room together.

It may not have been quite as special as actually being there,

but we were able to make the most of the situation,

and my girls were so thrilled to meet their new little cousin. Making little videos is another great way to share what is happening

in our family's lives, at our request,

my sister is now taking little video clips of my new niece and sending them through to us on a regular basis.

It's allowing us to experience those new changes that happen in a baby's life over the first few weeks, and every new video that arrives

is like a little treat. Video is incredible, and it's something that our family has become very familiar with,

and comfortable using on a regular basis in order to stay connected with our family at home.

Although this time of being away from my sister and her new baby is difficult for me,

I want to make it special for my children so that they feel that they are part of this new baby's life.

The girls have done some colouring and drawings to send back home as well,

showing their new niece what their life here is like, and hoping that one day perhaps she will come and visit us.

It's a great way for my kids to get excited about where we live knowing that they can share their world

with their tiny baby cousin back in Canada. And finally, we try to speak over the phone as much as possible.

Just hearing my sister's voice, hearing the sounds of the baby,

it all allows us to stay closer and to feel more connected as family.

Yes. We build a pedal operated the amphibious vehicle

what in 2019 we want to go through Alaska with

operated only by human power and can over

lakes rivers over snow and ice

and we want to cover a total of 4000 kilometers in six months

this is a relatively utopian project but we still try to do it

How long have you been doing this?

We started planning in 2016

And then at the beginning of this year, we actually have the parts for metal workers partly in order given to the part

built ourselves and then we got the parts in August, in April 2018

and then the construction went relatively quickly that was a month

one and a half months that are built together. This was a very long planning time before that

How much did you invest?

Even though we have estimated that maybe 5,000 euros invested five to

ten thousand euros we got a lot of sponsor. And working time is

then not included. So work now if I can

What inspired you to do this?

Voxilon auto detect metadata feature - Duration: 1:41.

Hi everyone! Today, I would like to show you a very nice feature in Voxilon

To illustrate the topic, maybe you have ever struggled trying to import raw images

when you don't have metadata. Well namely here I found some some slices on

my hard disk and it's raw image format and I don't have any information about

the size of the images. And well as you know it's very difficult and almost

impossible to import them in any software if you don't have this

information. But in Voxilon it's possible actually. Let me show you how we can

import these images in our database. So we just select one of those slices and

click auto detect metadata and Voxilon guesses the dimensions and the pixel size. You can

even have a preview. Just to check if he guessed correctly and then click import.

And there, the full stack has been loaded. iIt also works with block raw images.

Let me give you another example. There I have another raw image as a block, just

one file. So did it guess correctly? Yeah apparently, and if I click import, my

Enhanced Mobile: Auto Attendant-for administrators - Duration: 2:56.

The Auto attendant feature helps route and manage calls

by offering your callers a menu of options.

To help you get started,

we've provided a default auto attendant.

But you can optimize your auto attendant

by making some basic adjustments

in AT&T Collaborate-Enhanced Mobile.

We'll show you how.

On the "Site Information" page,

click "Manage auto attendant."

Some basic information about the auto attendant appears.

Now, click "Edit."

There are three options for managing an auto attendant.

You can manage the profile...

...by changing the default settings.

Just keep in mind that the time zone setting determines

how the schedules are applied.

Don't forget to save any changes.

To help manage calls to the auto attendant,

you can set call features.

Just click "Edit features"...

...and select the features you want to assign.

Finally, to customize the auto attendant to fit your needs,

you can manage the settings.

If you want to play the same greeting

and provide the same menu options all the time,

use the "24/7 configuration."

Or, you can switch to a custom configuration

and set up your auto attendant to play customized greetings...

...and provide different menu options during business hours,

after hours, and holidays.

We'll customize business hours.

First, expand "Business hours."

Then, under "Schedule," click "Set up."

By default, business hours are in effect every day,

from 9:00 to 5:00.

Now let's create a custom schedule.

First, we'll give the schedule a name.

For this example,

we aren't including weekends in our business hours,

so we'll call this schedule "Monday - Friday."

We'll leave the defaults for the start and end times,

select "a.m." and "p.m." respectively,

and then click "Apply to all weekdays."

We'll select "Closed" for "Saturday" and "Sunday"

and then click "Apply to all weekends"

because we're always closed on weekends.

Now, save these settings...

...and then click "OK" on the success message.

Expand "Business hours" again.

These are the default menu options for business hours,

but we'll add another option.

Click the edit icon.

We want our callers to hear that they're being transferred,

so for key 3, select "transfer with prompt",

and enter a person's extension.

Save your changes...

...and click "OK" on the success message.

Expand "Business hours" again.

Now we'll assign a greeting.

Click "Set up."

You can record a new greeting, upload a greeting,

or choose an existing greeting.

Let's say we recorded and saved a custom greeting

to match our updated menu,

so we'll choose "Use an existing greeting..."

...select the greeting, and then click "Save."

And that's it!

Business hours are now customized

for your business needs.

Now that you know how to customize your business hours,

you'll also be able to customize

"After hours," and "Holidays."
