Escape Game Art Journal Page with Impressables Part Two by Ana Bondu - Duration: 9:37.In this second part we will work from the backgrounds we
got (in the prior video) and from a background I did in an art journal page and
we will work directly on top of it.
So even same technique that I have done on the backgrounds. I go
first bring this together with a little bit of help with the
Distress Inks. So for that I am going to shade the edges. But as I worked
with acrylic paint before, the paints will resist.
From there I will work on the squares, and the various squares that I have
created on my previous backgrounds. I'm going to make some cuts
simply from these squares.
That's it so I have different sizes of squares, the idea is going to be to nest them
in each other, that is to say that I'm going to alternate colors. By
example, there we will have green. If I put
from the green, from above I'm going necessarily put a rose
and then again a green and then I will highlight them and
put them a little bit everywhere by zone. But for a little bit more
distinguish them in addition to 3D and well I Shall I shade them? So as I did
just now, since there I was on warm colors on the background of the art
journal page and well my little squares which are in warm colors.
I will always shade them in blue, Broken China. For the cool
colors I'm going, suddenly, use the colors that I have here. So
yellow would tend a little bit too much, so I'm going to use fuchsia
and for that the Picked Raspberry is perfect.
And so like here I printed the pattern in warm colors and that I have shaded in
cold colors, in blue, well I'm going proceed alternately and
combining for that comes out well, by example here i'm going to start with a
little square like that, of that sort. I do not necessarily need them
to be concentric. If I want to stagger them I can. I can play like
that, and playing with the extra thicknesses here, or that it is there, that this
there, I can even put in the middle if I wish, playing with the
overthickness, I'll be able to compose a page.
Now that all my
elements are glued, I'm going to move to the decoration of the whole.
So I'm going to stay on fairly geometric shapes, so I
work with stencils that are going give shapes that remain
despite everything in the squares.
This one I will place it like that not to conflict with our designs, with
the disposition of our designs. For the moment I remain in the continuity of
our pattern which is the square.
To give a little bit of strength to my ensemble now I'm going
add black to contrast. So for this I will simply use
VERSAFINE. I take an old inkpad Versafine not to spoil my pad,
the pad that I use for dabbing, always with a CUT-N-DRY and
I'll take my numbers, it's a recurring theme, these little numbers.
I like them, I think they make nice little edges.
And now I will emphasize the framing of my squares.
For that I take black pen, a felt black end permanent and waterproof.
I like to continue doing little "Zig Zag" like that as if I had
writen but it's fake writing.
Sometimes they are even the lines of what I put there.
And to give the little 3D effect I'm going just emphasize with a gray pencil
a little bit fat, and smudgey, so that's 6B. Or 8B, I think! That's it I'm just doing
Two sides, right and below. And for each square I will do
exactly the same thing. Here is once all my outlines made
we really have an impression of depth and cubes that get
superimpose even to be in a kind of labyrinth
I took out my old DYMO three dimensions, it is a product that is
fell a little out of date but I still like a lot when I have
no opportunity to do my title in another way.
And there I had a long sentence to say, inspired by this little background there, "Life is
not an escape game, so let's live fully."
So I hope that, this is the correct English, For the
French "life is not an escape game,
so let's live there fully. "
And here is my title is now pasted
and I have my little squares and a little labyrinth, my little escape game.
See you soon.

Y'all running over black folks now This is NOT a game Waking Up Daily - Duration: 5:36.what's up y'all this is Hail Storm adding my two cents to the meracle effect we're
going to get right into it what you're about to see is a video cam footage of a
police officer chasing a black male in Benton Harbor on his bike I'm gonna let
you see the videotape then we'll talk about what we saw in a minute
now the local news source WSBT said that officers were responding to a call
about a stolen lawnmower when they tried to stop a man riding a bike with no
headlight the news source reported that court documents indicated that the man
refused to talk dropped his bike and started running it seems to me that the
news source should have tried to contact the man on the bike to confirm the story
because it doesn't look like he had much of a chance to talk to anybody not that
that will be an excuse to get run over by a whole car the brother ain't just
fall on his own like he was in a scary movie although it did look like a scary
movie I know some of y'all think that black folks don't have feelings but we
do I'm sure he's probably traumatized anyway during the pursuit Johnson ran
over the man with the squad car Johnson has since been fired as he clearly
should have and now he's facing charges for assault with a deadly weapon as he
should now I want to applaud the police captain for making that decision
hopefully the judge will sentence him accordingly Johnson's attorney says that
it was just an accident so let's talk about that when does riding your bike
with a broken headlight warrant you getting run over or having to engage in
a chase? Either Johnson Casey was too excited about running over a human being
or he just can't drive. I know that they are quick to take away the residents
driver's license in the county so will they do the same to him whatever they
decide let's just say that the mistake was him ever applying to be a police
officer in the first place perhaps video gamer would be a better position for I'm
going to challenge the Benton Harbor Police Department to recruit more people
in the community who look like the people in the community no excuses on
this so I helped plan a community forum for the governor awhile back to improve
community relations we asked this white officer at our table
for strategy ideas now he looked me dead in my eyes
and he said he wasn't going to put it on that big piece of paper but he was going
to tell the truth he said you need to get police officers that look like your
community and live in your community people with skin in the game he said I
am my son's coach where I live I know the kids I know the community I am the
community I shop with them I went to school there I do not have to be told
how to treat them because I know them so Benton Harbor Police Department great
call
pressing charges and fire and Johnson terrible call chasing that man
like that we don't know if he had anything to do with the lawnmower so we
still don't know that I don't even see a lawnmower but either way you have to
understand that we have trust issues so until cops stop shooting people you
will get some runners if he did steal it and you run them over how's he gonna
earn the money back that's a lose-lose for everybody you got to think that
through he through rhymes with sew. I hope that brothers lawyer met him at the
hospital it really doesn't matter if he took the lawnmower or not you shouldn't
be running over people let's take it up a notch BH and do some heavier
recruiting in the hood you could have come to the peace walk and set up a
booth in the school our graduates were there I noticed that you have classes
and Berrien Springs let's do something in Benton Harbor if you're as aggressive
with your recruiting as you are on these hot pursuits
we'll have black cops in the hood in no time the goal is a sanctuary City where
the descendants of slaves can feel safe I'm gonna need y'all to stop having us
out here looking like runaway slaves we need to do better Benton Harbor and that's
my two cents this is Hail Storm. peace Are you listening? Deep!

ROBLOX Game Spotlight - Christmas Rush by TigerCode - Duration: 13:41.Hello everyone, and welcome to another ROBLOX game spotlight video!
This video is laggier than some of the other ones I have, although I wasn't lagging in the game. Sorry about that.
Christmas Rush is a seasonal game that is open twice a year. It's currently open for Christmas in July, and also opens in December around Christmas.
It is quite an improvement from the first game, as it adds in lots of new features and is in a much nicer setting than just a bland workshop.
The main objective is to simply make toys, wrap them, and deposit them to get cookies (the in-game currency).
It may seem repetitive, but several new features keep players coming back, including quests, assignments, and a new delivery mode minigame.
There are various stations around the area where you can make toys. Crafting recipes can be found in the crafting book (bottom right).
Some toys are simple and easy to make; others take several steps. The latter, however, will give you more cookies than 2-3 step toys.
You can go to Santa by the giant Christmas tree in the middle of the map and get assignments, giving you a specific number of a specific toy to create.
After completing an assignment, go back to Santa and collect your cookies. If you don't have time for a lengthy assignment, such as 10 RC vehicles, you can ask for a new one instead. However, you can only do this a certain number of times.
Every several minutes, a countdown will appear at the top of the screen. When this happens, you can go to the designated zone next to Santa's sleigh and start delivery mode.
Delivery mode is a minigame that has you shooting presents from a cannon in Santa's sleigh to houses. You must select the present on the left GUI to the icon above the house you're gifting.
Some houses have a timer with their present icons. If you deliver a present to that house in time, you'll get a bonus. There are also houses with their lights on. If you deliver a present to these, you'll lose points.
The reload time of the cannon is quite slow, but you can make it faster by buying an upgrade in the upgrade shop.
There are many quests to complete, mostly involving finding lost items for people. You'll gain a cookie reward and a badge for completing these.
You can use cookies to buy upgrades or pets to follow you around or to sit on your shoulder, as well as even use 15 R$ to play a festive song for the server with the jukebox in the spawn.
There are a few game passes; some are just for customization and appearance, but others can improve your gameplay experience.
There's a very small chance that you can wrap a golden gift, which will give you 100 cookies upon deposit (plus the normal cookie amount for depositing the toy). You can increase this chance with another game pass.
Overall, this is one of my favorite games to play around holiday time, and I'm glad they open it again in July too. However, it seems to be more popular in December, since not very many people celebrate Christmas in July.
However, the gameplay can still get repetitive, as in the classic version. There are still things to keep players coming, such as quests, assignments, and the delivery mode minigame.
I give Christmas Rush a 9/10. I feel that this game deserves more attention, and definitely can be addicting when you start playing for the first time.
TigerCode and Aqualotl (previously tiger12289 and lion2323) have other seasonal games, such as Trick or Treat in Hallowsville in October. I'll review that game when the time comes.

Disney Dream Job: Game Designer | Disney Family - Duration: 8:25.- I got into gaming because of "Epic Mickey."
Playing video games opened my mind
and just makes me more creative because it's
just a different world.
Tarik's loved gaming since he was really little.
He always had the Gameboys.
He's been like, can I take a coding class?
Can I take a modding class?
And I saw that this is something he's going to do with his life.
I'm Tarik, and my Disney dream job is to become
a Disney game designer.
[MUSIC PLAYING]
Communities are a big part of gaming.
No one really wants to feel, like, lonely.
Fostering a sense of community and helping others
is really, really important to Tarik.
He's very caring.
He volunteers his time.
Disney is pretty much a community.
It all started with Walt Disney and all his creative minds.
I really love Disney games because they
feature all the characters.
And what's your favorite one?
Oswald.
I just loved his character design.
His, like, unique abilities.
I realized that this is what I want to do--
I want to become a creator for Disney, and make video games.
Today I'm going to meet some Disney game designers
and learn the process of making a game.
I'm Nacia.
I'm the executive producer for "Disney Emoji Blitz."
Today we're excited to show Tarik what it's like to be
a Disney game designer. Hi.
Nice to meet you.
This is where we make Disney games.
Awesome.
I'm so excited you guys are here today.
You want to go back and meet the team?
Yeah. That's awesome.
- Come on. - Thank you.
All right. - Hi.
Hi.
This is our scrum room.
This is where we meet every morning to kinda talk about what
we're going to work on for the day,
and make sure that we're all on the same page.
This is really cool.
NACIA CHAMBERS: Today we're going to be brainstorming
a new emoji power related to Jack-Jack, who's the baby
for the new "Incredibles 2." - Awesome.
JOE CHO: So if you remember Jack-Jack from the first movie,
he has all these crazy powers.
Mmm-Hmm.
Just shout out different things that represent
Jack-Jack as a character.
Like, I'll just start off.
Jack Jack is a baby.
He's a fire baby.
NACIA CHAMBERS: He's a fire baby.
[INTERPOSING VOICES]
He turns into, like, a monster.
JOE CHO: Monster. - He passes through.
He can like pass through, yeah.
Phasing.
Lasers.
NACIA CHAMBERS: Oh, yeah.
Laser eyes.
So, next we highlight a bunch of things that we think
would be cool abilities.
It's kind of important to spotlight
what we think the players want to see out that character.
Uh, fire. JOE CHO: Fire is cool.
Yeah. Monster.
Monster is pretty good.
Phasing is pretty interesting.
Yeah.
Basically, we want to identify some of these key aspects.
The design team will go back and start figuring out how
it actually works in the game.
Joe is going to take you and show you
how he translates all of that brainstorm
into a design document.
Sweet! JOE CHO: Cool.
Let's go. - Bye.
Bye.
Have a nice weekend.
- So this is Komdetch. - Hi.
Nice to meet you. - Nice to meet you.
He's a software engineer on "Emoji."
I'm just going to show you the design portion,
and then we're going to have Komdetch show
you how he builds everything. - All right.
JOE CHO: So just grab a seat. - Yeah.
Yeah. Absolutely.
TARIK: Awesome.
So we were just in that brainstorm
and we were talking about Jack-Jack.
And we decided every time he triggers power,
a random different thing will happen.
Oh, that's awesome.
And so we just use this grid to show you,
like, when he goes on fire.
Yellow is like where he'll walk across.
And then orange is where, like, the grid would be destroyed.
Yeah.
The game design team puts this together,
and then we give this to the engineers,
and then they actually build it. - That's awesome.
And then I give it over to Komdetch.
So I get this document from Joe.
It's my job to kind of translate this into the game.
But one that's in a good space, we'll take it over art.
They'll actually animate Jack-Jack running across,
Jack-Jack jumping into the screen.
Yeah.
Game designers need to not only come up with the ideas,
they need to communicate those ideas
to the engineers, and the artists,
and the rest of the team.
Do you have any advice for me to, like, do what I want to do.
Like-- like this?
Playing a lot of games and coming up with neat ideas.
Even watching sports--
like sports are a form of games. TARIK: Yeah.
Really think about the rules of how that game is working.
Next we're going to show how some of the animation
comes together. - Awesome.
Cool. Ready to go?
Thank you.
Nice meeting you.
So this is Dave.
He is our lead animator.
Dave puts the final art and then the storytelling in place.
So I'm going to leave you with Dave.
DAVE MARKOWITZ: Now we've got the design.
We've got it functionally working.
What I do is I take the art, which is Oswald,
your favorite character.
And we're going to make him translate across the screen.
This is him moving down.
And this is him moving sideways.
TARIK: Aw.
It's so cool!
DAVE MARKOWITZ: So he flies with his ears.
- Mmm-Hmm. - You remember seeing that.
Yep.
DAVE MARKOWITZ: All they are, are two images.
And I turn them on and off, on and off really fast.
Oh, so it looks like it's rotating.
And the final touch, the effects.
I've got a trail--
So as he passes by, you'll make that blurry.
Yeah. I've got my smoke.
For me, it's always trying to tell that story,
or give an inanimate object a motion.
It's Oswald.
He's kind of a prankster.
He flies around.
I try and give some of that to him
through basic animation principles.
Do you make every single animation for every character?
Mmm-Hmm.
I was the original animator for all 200, so ...
- Wow. - Yeah.
Everybody has their specialty, and we need a team of support
to do it. - Thank you so much.
This has been awesome. - Hey, Tarik.
How's it going? - Good.
How are you? - Good to see you.
Disney doesn't just make mobile games.
We also do cutting-edge technologies like AR.
Let's go meet a team who's doing some of that.
All right. DAVE MARKOWITZ: See you guys.
Bye.
[MUSIC PLAYING]
So this is Randy.
TARIK: Hey, Randy. - Hey, Tarik.
How you doing? TARIK: Good.
How are you?
Welcome to the "Star Wars Jedi Challenges" game.
NACIA CHAMBERS: We're not just making mobile games.
We're doing some pretty cool, innovative stuff.
And one of those things is this "Jedi Challenges," because it's
bringing together both hardware and software in a really,
really innovative way.
RANDY DAVIS: Inside this headset is a cartridge
that holds your own phone.
You download the app that you're playing.
You put it inside this cartridge,
slide it inside the headset, and it knows what a lightsaber is,
and it projects the lightsaber on your screen
while you're fighting some of the greatest villains the "Star
Wars" universe has ever seen.
That's awesome.
- Do you wanna meet the team? - Oh, yes.
Of course.
Hey, Tarik.
Nice to meet you. - Nice to meet you, too.
Tarik, this is Will Rosas.
He's the creative director for "Star Wars Jedi Challenges."
Come on in. Let me show you some cool stuff.
It's all about how story, game design, and art
all work together.
With this particular game, it's really about being a Jedi.
So the holocron has all of the secrets of being a Jedi.
TARIK: Yeah.
WILL ROSAS: For something as simple as this object,
we spent a lot of time animating it, and how does it move,
and how does it open.
You want this sense of mystery, like there's something really
kind of cool in it, right?
We designed a unique character, the archivist.
TARIK: Oh.
Sort of a Jedi temple guardian.
That's right.
We spent a lot of time designing all
the patterns, belts, clothing.
TARIK: Yeah.
So you see these kinds of images, where it's all
the galaxies and the planets.
When you're working in AR, it's all around
creating depth, because it's going to pull
you into the experience.
Hey.
You've got a glimpse into how we make the software.
I thought it would be great if we took you to the secret lab
where we make the hardware. - Sweet.
RANDY DAVIS: How's that sound? - Yeah.
That's awesome. RANDY DAVIS: All right.
Let's go.
[MUSIC PLAYING]
This is one of the mechanical engineers in the Advanced
Development Lab, Jon Hsu.
What is it we're looking at here, Jon?
So this is the history of "Jedi Challenges."
The stuff on the left, this is actually
called proof of concept.
We 3D printed it entirely in-house,
which is pretty unique.
And this is just to prove out that the system
works before we take it into the final production stages.
So this is the kind of final finished product.
I'm really surprised that this actually exists.
Yeah.
From the start, this was an entirely groundbreaking
project.
There's a lot of patents to come up with a design like that.
RANDY DAVIS: You know, instead of looking
at this through glass, do you want to go play the game?
Yes. Yes.
I'm down. - All right.
Let's go. Let's do it.
You've gotta start the lightsaber--
TARIK: Whoa.
RANDY DAVIS: Which is actually hardware no one built before.
So we didn't even have an example to work off of.
TARIK: That's so cool.
RANDY DAVIS: This is a culmination of work
of about 50 different people.
And all different kinds of talents
contribute to that big puzzle.
That's awesome.
I was really impressed with Tarik's attitude.
He came in here with a lot of curiosity
and a lot of enthusiasm.
And if he has that when he goes to make
his way in the game world, he's going to do just fine.
This is one of my favorite days I've ever had.
Seeing, like, the minds--
the designer, the animator, the coder.
I never knew that it took, like, an entire community,
like a family, or team, to create all these amazing games.
He's super, super bright.
I think he's going to be a great game designer.
And he's really, really passionate about Disney.
I think he would fit right in.
TIFFANY: Knowing that he's met these people,
these people took an interest in him,
it was very emotional because I know how much he wants this
and how much he loves this.
TARIK: This day was such a big moment for me.
It gave me all I need to know about Disney and all the magic
that goes into the games.
I hope to share this magic with all the games
that I create in the future.

Gaming News 2018 | No Man's Sky BIGGEST UPDATE & MORE! 🎮 - Duration: 5:11.There's A LOT to talk about in this video from Awesomenauts & the developers Ronimo
Games to a depressive steampunk game recently released, a strange platformer and the biggest
update to No Man's Sky yet.
Now That's Gaming!
A robot awakes alone to find his world changed in a way he couldn't imagine.
Take a look at Mechanism, an atmospheric puzzle game set in a depressive steampunk environment,
where you have a disease called "Phlegm" that's spreading, affecting everything around you.
The game focuses on visual narrative, adventure, and the story that changes based on your actions
which sounds pretty neat.
The game was created by one person, Alexander Goodwin and from the look of the game that
is pretty impressive.
The presentation alone, looks pretty great and despite some of the bugs and issues people
have had at launch, the developer seems to be patching the game up quickly which is always
an awesome thing to see.
I always like to see these crazy concepts in story driven games and this one definitely
has a different feel to it.
Congratulations on the release Alexander, it's always an accomplishment to have a
game come out and hopefully, others will enjoy your game.
Awesomenauts has a new character in update 4.7 SLAM DUNK.
Introducing SNORK GUNK.
Along with Snork, there is a patch that brings some bug fixes and other balance changes to
the Awesomenauts cast.
I tried out Snork and I am not sure how to feel about this character.
He has some fun abilities, but I think they could have been much more creative with the basketball
theme for his moveset.
At least his theme song is pretty good.
Ronimo Games are also putting Awesomenauts to the sidelines to work on upcoming titles,
which I am glad they are finally adventuring more outside Awesomenauts.
While I do love the game, I can imagine some pretty fun projects with the art style presented
in the game, I am very curious what type of games they have in mind, but I guess we will
have to wait and see.
I really wish you the best of luck, Ronimo.
You got this!
I am happy to announce that Escape Doodland will be releasing sometime in August after
three years of hard work.
This is a fast-paced 2D platformer where you are in this crazy world full of weird doodle
drawings.
It's visually pleasing and something I've never seen before especially in a platforming
game.
After watching this game throughout the years, the two developers really introduced some
nice changes with more detail in the levels, sound design, level redesigns, and always
taking constructive feedback from the community.
I did a video on the Escape Doodland demo in the past, so if you want to see a bit more
detail in the gameplay and my experience, there will be a link to it in the cards and
description below.
It's back, well technically it never left.
No Man's Sky is a controversial game with its release and other choices that didn't
make it to the final game.
However, over the last few couple years, it's been getting improvements and it seems that
a huge update was released earlier this week.
The No Man's Sky Next update brings in multiplayer, base building, third person, newer planets
and much more.
Despite the poor launch and reception, you have to give Hello Games some credit for sticking
with the game for that long as many other developers would most likely have ditched their game.
Now it comes down to really will this update make people stick around longer this time?
There are definitely a lot more people playing it on Steam, right now.
You can see, currently there is a ton more people playing it after the update, which is nice to see.
and I might pick it up as well since it is on sale at least until July 30th on Steam.
I'll put the patch notes in the description to the latest update for you to check out to decide if this update
changes your mind on the game.
With this newest update to No Man's Sky, will you be picking up
the game or pass on it still?
Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
