hello hello I wanted to come on Facebook live but my connections being really
wonky this morning so I'm just gonna record a quick video for you on what
skin care is right for you! So at Beautycounter we now have three skin care
collections now. I love them all but I'm gonna break it down for you, make it
super easy to figure out which one will be a better fit for you! I wanted to
start with our very basic nourishing line which were actually the
products we came out with when we very first started our company in 2013.
Our nourishing line back here is formulated with organic coconut oil, and
I recommend this line to anybody who does not have a skin concern. I mean
teens, tweens, if you just want something really basic that's gental and mild, this is going to be right for you!
So we have the cleanser and the exfoliator, these
are actually the two that I use most often.
The cleanser I use daily, the exfoliator I will sub in two to three times
a week. Then we also have our nourishing day cream and night cream and they come
out in a pump formula like this and then we have our nourishing eye cream which
is really going to help with those you know that puffiness around the eyes and
then a rose water spray which is a really great toning spray. It's a mist
that just goes on nice and gentle so that would be what I would recommend
if you are just looking for some really good quality skin care and you have no
major concerns. Secondly I'm going to talk about {actually let me switch this
order around here} I'm going to talk about our Rejuvenating Countertime
collection. This is our aging gracefully line so if you are really
concerned with those fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, that
type of thing this is gonna be your line. What I like to do is alternate the
cleansers from the Nourishing line with a couple of my favorites from our
Rejuvenating line and I'm gonna walk you through those so we have our
rejuvenating based cleanser which is a really great cleanser, don't get me wrong,
I just always seem to have these other ones in the shower so that's typically
what I use. We have our rejuvenating cleanser, we have our toner pads which
are really really nice I love these so you can actually cut them in half if you
want to and swipe and it's really gonna help tone that skin and get rid of the
sun damage, discoloration, and that type of thing. Then oh this is my favorite, you
guys, the rejuvenating radiance serum so this is really going to tone and tighten up
your skin. Then we also have our rejuvenating day cream and our night
cream also love love love these I feel like I get really really good
moisture from those. And then our targeted rejuvenating eye cream as well
which is also going to help with the fine lines wrinkles. So as I mentioned
the Nourishing line uses organic coconut oil, one of the highlight ingredients for
our Rejuvenating line is Jambu extract and I wanted to show you a picture
it's so so pretty look at this flower! It's from Brazil and it really just
helps bolster resiliency against our environmental stressors so
when you're outside in the Sun all day, or when you're in the
city breathing air all of these things, is a really good natural defense for
your skin. So that is our rejuvenating line, now I'm gonna highlight our counter
match collection! You may remember this past summer we came out with our
Countermatch adaptive moisture lotion which kept selling out right away.
This is a breakthrough technology for us. We use bio-mimic technology, so
we're harvesting the great benefits of plants and really taking it
to the next level. And what it does, is it matches your skin's hydration,
nourishment, oxygenation, all of these things that are coming from plants and
really help balancing out your skin so if you need more hydration it's going to
help with that. If you need a little less hydration, if you're feeling a little
oily, it will help with that. It's just really amazing so we came out with this
during the summer and this is just a really great daytime moisturizer that my
clients are loving! But we added to the family so we also added our intense
moisture serum, and serums are great because they're really concentrated and
this is really going to lock in that hydration. It comes in a really neat
stopper you can kind of see this up close and you really only need a drop
it's gonna blend in instantly with your skin. Also what I really love is our eye
rescue cream, and this is gonna be great to just target the shadows and
the discoloration under your eye, as we get a little older and that delicate
skin area. under So I just got my order yesterday, and last night was
the first time that I was able to use this collection and this is our recovery
sleeping cream! It comes in this really amazing airless pump {don't know if you
can see this} so you push it down once, and that should be enough. I played around
with two pumps and I almost thought that was too much so I really like the one
pump, and it's really neat because our skin cycles by itself with an internal clock
so during the daytime your skin is in this protection mode right?
It's helping protect while you're out and about against Sun, wind, rain
whenever you're at, whatever the elements are, it's protecting against that. Now night
time is when your skin goes into recovery mode/rejuvenating mode, and so
this is really gonna help with that. We use a lot of really great ingredients for our
Countermatch. We use beet root extract, green olive extract, we just use some
really nice ingredients that help with vibrant skin. So the nourishing line is good
for no skin concerns, Rejuvenating Countertime line is really good for
aging gracefully, and then I would say our Countermatch is fantastic if you're
looking for more hydration in your skin. Helping if you are
feeling like you've got issues with dull skin, I would say it would
be fantastic for that, and if you really just want to change the texture of your
skin, maybe you're feeling like you're a little dry or you're noticing
changes in your skin as we get a little older, it's great to just boost
that hydration. So let me know if you have any questions, oh and before I stop
the video - so I am obsessed with face oil! I use them
every single day no matter what skin collection I use I always use an oil
because it's going to lock in that moisture and hydration without clogging your
pores so I would recommend one of these incorporated with your routine. We have
1, 2, and 3 {now my hands are kinda greasy}. 1 is our brightening oil with
vitamin C so if you really want to brighten up your skin tone that's the
one to use. Number 2 is our plumping oil with jasmine I really love this one
that's going to help kind of the fine lines and wrinkles in your face
and then number 3 this is our balancing with ylang ylang and that's
going to be great to balance oil production in your skin. So I'm always available, we
can chat over Zoom, over FaceTime, Skype, email, over cup of coffee or cocktail
{that is my favorite} but I can kind of walk you through what I like to
use and talk about some of your skin concerns if you had those and I give you
