Pluskoon päivän asu - Plus Size OOTD - Duration: 4:27.

Hi everyone! My name is Elina.

And this is my first ever Youtube video.

I have been like really afraid of

being in front of the camera.

And now finally I got some strange

inspiration to finally

like start this

that I make a video to my own channel.

And this is an outfit of the day video.

Quite short.

You know...

I was today just having an everyday life.

Went to get my eyesight checked,

and they told I need a bit stronger glasses for seeing far.

I don't normally wear glasses at home

so I don't have them either on this video.

Then I went to have our car inspected.

And I don't know what the theme was for this day.

Everyday and comfy.

I have this

black and white striped sweater

by Seppälä.

And beneath

I have also by Seppälä

this

orange and white striped

wrap dress.

And then beneath the dress

I have

these basic leggings

beige leggings by Ellos.

These are all kind of

basic, comfy

reasonably priced.

I don't normally wear much makeup.

Like for example I don't have anything on the eyes.

On the face

I have

today quite lightly this Lumene

Longwear Blur

shade 00, and it's Ultra Light.

It's also like

that I've had a hard time finding

enough light foundation.

And this seems to match.

And then...

on the lips I have apart from lipbalm

underneath

because this NYX Liquid Suede

isn't as greasy as I would like.

But perhaps that's due to this,

it is

whatever you call this?

Applied with an applicator.

So...

yes... It needs some balm underneath

On my lips at least.

Because I have a pretty dry skin.

So it probably works better for those

who don't have dryness.

But anyway I love this color

like crazy! It's called Kitten Heels.

And it feels just right.

So I can put up with

needing extra moisturizer.

And on the eyebrows I have

Sokos [department store] has this We Care Icon

brand,

and this is from them.

And this is the darker shade,

true dark brown.

Brow pencil.

This I think is really very good.

It works.

And this was all for now.

We'll meet again. Bye bye!

Market Plus: Naomi Blohm (November 3, 2017) - Duration: 13:32.

Pearson: This is the Friday, November 3, 2017

version of the Market Plus segment.

Joining us now is Naomi Blohm.

Naomi, welcome back.

Blohm: Thanks, Mike.

Pearson: Now, when we left the program you were

pretty excited about all of the pork that is now

available in the marketplace and you told

me that you were making some pretty fancy new pork

dishes.

What's one of them?

Blohm: Well, I'm really into pork wontons right

now and some pork tacos and so it's a great way if

you are using either pork loin and you have

leftovers or if you have pork shoulder you put in a

crock pot and you are looking for new ways for

leftovers.

It's great, it's a hit with the kids, it's a

totally new flavor so it's not like they're eating

pork again, they don't know any different and the

husband is happy because it's new food on the

table.

It takes a little more time with some of it,

especially the wontons, but you can make them

healthy and bake them.

You're laughing.

I'm going to bring some for you next time.

I'm going to do it.

Pearson: We need to get this recipe up on Twitter.

Blohm: Yeah, I should do it.

Pearson: You absolutely should do it.

So check out Naomi Blohm on Twitter.

We'll get some recipes to keep this pork demand

going.

Now, Naomi, we've got a question here from Paul in

Minnesota.

Speaking of demand we need to get going, Paul wants

to know is there a surplus corn yet from 2016?

And then we know there's going to be some in 2017.

And what are we going to do with it all?

Blohm: Yes, surplus.

A lot of producers I think cried uncle right before

harvest.

I moved a lot of it that was in their bins.

So that hit and was on piles.

Now we have what has been a blessing is that harvest

is so slow for corn right now.

It has been a real blessing because in a lot

of places some of those piles are able to get used

up before the new piles are coming in.

But what I thought was interesting was that I was

on the phone with an ethanol plant in Wisconsin

and just trying to figure out where's your demand,

where's your basis, because I was going to

relay it to a client.

And he was really looking for corn, like yeah, and

he said, well I just really want to get it

booked before December.

And I'm like you've got corn all around you.

So it's getting used up and so it's moving, it's

slowly moving.

The demand is still there but you're not going to

see your basis improve probably until spring,

unfortunately.

And that is why the corn market has been just stuck

and if it can get a 20 cent rally that's going to

be great but you're going to see more selling and

then it's going to be stuck for another three

months in a trading range.

But it's moving.

It's doing its best.

But I don't think you're going to see producers sit

on their crop for as long as they did -- Pearson:

So you don't think so?

Blohm: I think they're going to be more willing

to sell it throughout the winter and spring and not

just hope for the higher prices later on.

I think every rally is going to be sold.

Pearson: Okay.

Because Paul had a second question, we've also got a

question from Matt in Anamosa, Iowa, which I

took a phone call here just the other day from a

friend of mine asking what do I do with overflow

corn?

Yields are better than anticipated.

So even if I was well sold figuring what I was going

to get at the end of the day I'm sitting on more

corn than I thought.

At this point right now is binning it the best

choice?

Or do you just unload it even with a 50 to 60 cent

basis and put the cash in your pocket?

Blohm: Every farmer is going to be a little

different.

If you can store it I would store it.

I know I would if I was in that situation because if

you're going to sell it you're going to get the

absolute worst price right now because the futures

are at the lowest that they are, your basis is

the widest it's going to be and so not that your

basis is going to overly improve as time goes on

but maybe 15, 20 cents and 15, 20 cents in this

marketplace is a big deal.

Okay, so now let's say you're selling it in

whatever capacity, either now or later, then you

have to think about if you're going to reown it

or if not.

And so if it's another year like last year the

calls didn't do much of anything.

I look back and if you had bought a call option last

year, like for a December option at this time last

year you're paying like 24 cents.

Pearson: For December of '18?

Blohm: For December of '17.

So I'm talking like I'm putting ourselves in a

year ago from right now.

Pearson: Okay, so it was a year out, you were buying

a year out call.

Blohm: Right.

Anyway, the most that they made was 12 to 15 cents

but that's if you got out at the high.

So they just didn't do anything.

So this is a year where risk management is going

to be different.

And it's going to be different strategies from

a year ago where the best strategies for this year

would be the ones actually that would involve the

most risk.

So it's a tricky environment because we

aren't in a situation where we kind of have the

risk out there.

So what we need to hope for is bad weather in

South America.

Pearson: Yeah, La Nina has to kick in and give these

markets a reason to rally.

Blohm: Yeah.

But Chinese demand has been stronger.

So there's a lot of little things that are building

up and the more the market consolidates the bigger

the break out is down the road.

So we just need something to happen.

Pearson: Alright.

Well, now we also had some excitement, really kind of

the only spot of excitement on the grains

this summer was in the spring wheat market.

We've got a question here from Boyce up in Bismarck,

North Dakota.

Boyce wants to know, should spring wheat

farmers be forward contracting new 2018

spring wheat now?

Blohm: No.

Pearson: No.

Blohm: Wait.

Pearson: Wait?

What are your thoughts?

Blohm: Well, seasonally this is the time of year

where a lot of prices are not at their best, by any

means.

Pearson: But short crops have long tails, don't

they, Naomi?

Aren't we going to continue to sell off?

Blohm: We're still without the high quality wheat so

there is going to be that demand for it down the

road.

So how much higher the marketplace rallies it's

probably not necessarily going to be like last year

because what would be the odds of another horrible

drought?

But here's my thought is that when I'm listening to

other advisors out there on all the different shows

and they're all so bearish and they're all saying

price now, I step back and I think okay, the funds

are the shortest they've ever been for corn and

wheat, seasonally this is the worst time of year to

price something so why are you telling people that

it's the best time to do it right now?

So I think wait and be patient.

But we're not in a situation where we're

looking for sky high prices, so when you see

the profitable points there you've got to set

the realistic targets and follow through on your

plan and pull the trigger.

Pearson: Okay.

So if you can forward contract wheat profitably

today for 2018 it might be worth pulling the trigger.

Otherwise wait.

Do you anticipate acreage to grow for spring wheat

given the excitement that we saw last year in the

commodity?

Blohm: I am not sure.

I've talked with producers in the Dakotas and a lot

of them are liking corn.

Pearson: Oh really.

Made the investment, we're growing corn, we're

growing corn.

Blohm: Yep and on a lot of them plant the beans

because North Dakota is the railway out to the

Pacific Northwest.

But of course maybe some will be more attracted to

go into some of the spring wheat acres but again it's

too soon.

When I try to talk to people you almost feel

like you're going to get slapped on the face

through the phone by asking them those

questions so far out because they're just

trying to finish up harvest right now.

Pearson: Right, we've just got to put food on the

table to get through Christmas.

Blohm: Right.

Pearson: Well, now we've got a question here from

Roger in Kokomo, Indiana, @RogerGreeson on Twitter.

He's asking, so we're talking North Dakota, he's

asking is there a point at which these low prices

cause an appreciable reduction in fringe row

crop acres?

And what would it be?

And so five years ago that would have been North

Dakota was row crop but they're not anymore.

Kentucky, Southern Missouri, Kansas, all

these growers trying to intrude on the I states'

territory.

What price level is going to get them out of the

market?

Blohm: I don't know.

That's a great, great question.

What was interesting where I live in Wisconsin

there's a lot of different somewhat specialty crops

growing and we happen to have a pretty big like

bird seed company so I'm seeing sunflower seeds

grow, I'm seeing milo grow where I live, which is not

normal.

So I wonder if some of those specialty markets

kind of come back or producers look for other

things.

But I don't know how low prices have to go.

I think we're kind of there as far as --

Pearson: And the producers you're talking to outside

the I states, $3.50 or $3 cash, that's not enough to

get them to stop growing corn.

They've made the investment, they're going

to stick with it.

Blohm: I think so.

Pearson: Okay.

Now, you mentioned milo so I'm going to jump around,

I'm going to make the producers mad again this

week.

I want to jump down to Cindi in Kansas' question.

Cindi is in Kansas and she's asking, as you

mentioned milo, what are your thoughts on milo?

Will it stay directly connected to the corn

contract?

The demand for milo seems good.

Blohm: And I don't know, I don't work enough with it.

However, I do think that there has been more of a

direct marketplace for milo in some instances and

even an export marketplace.

Pearson: China was hot for milo there for a couple of

years.

Blohm: So I don't know if it is going to stay that

way or if milo can separate itself.

I think it needs to differentiate itself as

more of a specialty crop from a standpoint of maybe

it ships better or something like that.

I don't know is the answer.

But it's something to watch.

Pearson: But they're growing it in Wisconsin

now apparently.

Blohm: Yeah, and what was so funny is that they

actually had a sign in the field, like lots of signs,

this is milo and this is milo production for this

particular brand of bird seed.

And I was like, wow, milo in Wisconsin, I've never

seen it before.

Pearson: And it's nice they partnered it up with

kind of an educational session because not a lot

of Wisconsinites see sunflowers or milo.

Blohm: That's the thing, they probably thought it

was a field of weeds or something.

Pearson: They're going to go in there with their

Roundup and just start spraying.

So, Naomi, we've got another question for you

and this one think outside the box, get crazy.

You look at all kinds of different markets.

Again, Bryan in Bald Bluff, Illinois.

This is @BryanBoock.

Bryan wants to know, he says, for one who knows

nothing about wheat but enjoys gambling what is

the best market to buy?

Your spec purchase of the week for just, if I've got

money that I'm happy to throw away what would you

be buying?

Blohm: Crude oil on a setback.

I think the crude oil market is going to be

dynamic in 2018.

There's just a lot of stuff happening and going

on out there.

As far as other spec trades I think the corn

market for sure would be something that has a

possibility.

Pearson: Bill in Cambridge, Ontario up in

Canada wants to know, what is your analysis on the

soybean meal market?

He says, futures have been a little mercurial as of

late.

Blohm: That's a great word.

Pearson: It's a great word, yes.

Blohm: That's like college prep word right there from

high school English.

Soybean meal, here's the thing with meal is that

next week, we should have actually probably talked

about this on the show, the anti-dumping duties

with the Argentine soybean oil, that's all coming to

a head next week.

So if they continue to say stay away Argentina with

your soybean oil, biodiesel, all of that,

that puts more demand obviously here in the

United States.

So does our production go up?

Yeah, probably, but then of course then we have

this extra meal sitting around.

So I don't know.

I would say keep an eye on more so that next week

with the anti-dumping because that will be a

bigger thing.

But we also have more hogs that we're feeding, we

also have just the strong demand overseas.

Pearson: We've got our layers back after bird flu

and everything.

Blohm: Yeah, so something to watch.

There's a few factors going on there but I don't

have a specific answer.

Pearson: Okay.

And you don't see it given the increase in feed

demand for hogs and birds and etcetera, you don't

see meal going nuts because we should have

this increase in production as we drive to

meet this oil.

Blohm: Potentially, right.

Pearson: Potentially.

Indonesia and Argentina, those are the two that

we're looking at putting some tariffs on, correct?

Blohm: Yeah, Argentina, I didn't realize 90% of what

they make for biodiesel comes to the United

States.

Pearson: Wow.

Blohm: Yeah, so this is kind of a big deal.

Pearson: Yeah, a big deal.

Okay, so stay tuned, we'll probably be talking about

that in the future.

Well, Naomi Blohm, thank you so much for taking the

time to talk to us this week.

Blohm: Thanks for having me.

Pearson: We really appreciate it.

Now, our drought continues on your questions for the

basics of trading or trends in the marketplace.

So join in and send us your questions in video

form.

You can direct message us on Twitter or send an

email to markettomarket@iptv.org

for details.

Naomi, thanks again for joining us.

Blohm: You're welcome.

Pearson: And folks, join us again next week when

we'll see how North Dakota farmers handled the wicked

weather cards they were dealt and Brian Roach will

sit across from me here at the Market to Market

table.

Until then, thanks for watching or listening.

10 Tripod Tips and Tricks plus How to choose the best tripod for your photography - Duration: 12:05.

A tripod is one of the most important pieces of gear that you should own and use as a photographer.

Yet I see so many photographers struggle to choose the right tripod and even worse not

use them properly or even worse yet - not use them when they should be using them.

So in this two part video set I am going to demystify tripods and give you 10 awesome

tips to make your tripod work magic for your photography.

Stay tuned!

Hey gang!

My name is Joe Edelman and my mission is to help photographers like YOU to develop a solid

understanding of the HOWS & WHYS behind great photography so that you can achieve your goals

as a photographer.

This is a tripod - pretty simple right?

I mean how hard is it to set-up and use a tripod?

Back in the mid 1990's, I read a book called The Camera by the great Ansel Adams.

To quote Adams, "Many photographers casually set up the tripod and use the various tilts

and adjustments in a haphazard way.

It is preferable, however, to be more methodical in setting up the tripod, to provide precise

positioning of the camera and the greatest possible stability."

Hopefully you realize that the lesson there goes well beyond using a tripod.

I remember as a teenager that using a tripod was actually kind of cool.

People took me more seriously like I actually knew what I was doing or like I was a working

professional.

The reality is that a tripod is an investment in your ability to take great pictures - just

like a camera - so do your research and don't cheap out

To take pictures at slow shutter speeds without getting camera shake

To take photos in low light with longer shutter speeds

To use much smaller apertures giving you greater depth of field.

The smaller aperture will generally require a slower shutter speed - hence the need for

a tripod.

To shoot a series of frames that will stitch together in a panorama or extremely high resolution

image.

To create High Dynamic Range images where you need to shoot a series of frames at different

exposures without any movement from one frame to the next.

For time lapse photography

For astrophotography

To make better self portraits - especially on vacation

To shoot video

To slow you down and force you to be more deliberate with your decisions.

There are many different kinds of tripods.

For the most part we can divide them into five basic groups.

Pocket tripods are usually less than 6 inches collapsed.

A pocket tripod will easily fit into a bag or waist-pack and they are very handy when

you don't not want carry something bigger and heavier.

Pocket tripods will support the weight of a smartphone or compact digital camera.

Look for one that has some sort of adjustable head, even if it's really basic.

Tabletop tripods are excellent for situations where the camera and tripod can be placed

on a small flat surface.

Their light, small, and easy to pack so they're great for travel.

Put it on a table, set the self-timer, and you can include yourself in the shot.

Or, turn your tabletop tripod sideways and place it against a wall or a pole to give

you more stability when shooting.

And since they hold the camera close to the ground, they're great for low camera angles.

Travel Tripods will usually bring your camera to just shy of eye level, but collapse to

an easy-to-carry size.

Travel tripods will support a digital or film SLR with a kit lens, or even a modest zoom

lens.

Avoid using long zooms or heavy telephoto lenses on a travel tripod - they tend to be

front heavy and can cause the tripod to tip.

Travel tripods that collapse down to 22 inches or shorter will fit in most airline carry-on

luggage.

Medium Duty Tripods fill the gap between lightweight travel tripods and heavier studio tripods.

The big advantage over travel tripods is that most medium duty models reach eye level or

higher, they are heavier and therefore even sturdier - hence much better when image sharpness

is critical.

Some models come without a head and then create a custom configuration by buying the head

separately.

Studio Tripods are very sturdy and usually designed to fit a specific need.

They are big, sometimes immovable and nearly always used with a specialized head.

They are designed to handle medium and large-format cameras.

There are eight features or characteristics that are common to pretty much all tripods.

The more you understand these characteristics - the easier it will be to select the perfect

tripod for your needs.

Collapsed Size is how long the tripod measures with everything folded up.

This is important if you are traveling or need to pack the tripod in a bag, camera case

or suit case.

Maximum Height Extension is how tall the tripod will stand with the center column and every

leg fully extended.

The Maximum Load Capacity is the heaviest camera and lens combination the tripod or

tripod head can handle.

If you put a camera that's heavier than the Maximum Load Capacity on a tripod, you

run the risk of it breaking or collapsing and causing damage.

So, it's important to know how much your camera weighs with its heaviest lens and any

accessories, and then buy a tripod that will handle them.

The weight is simply how much the tripod weighs.

Head Type – There are basically three types of tripod heads.

Pan-Tilt Heads – either with a single handle for horizontal movement or dual handles for

both horizontal and vertical movement.

This is the most common type of head that is typically built into cheaper tripods.

Ball-Heads – compared to pan-tilt heads, most ball-heads only have one control that

loosens or tightens the grip.

They are very flexible and allow very smooth operation while keeping the camera and lens

securely tightened.

Gimbal Heads – are specialized heads for long and heavy lenses.

Compared to pan-tilt heads and ball-heads, gimbal heads perfectly balance the camera

and heavy lens.

They are extremely easy to use in any direction and do not require tightening the head every

time the camera/lens moves.

They are great for sports and wildlife photography.

Regardless of which head type you choose, I strongly recommend choosing one with a quick

release.

There is nothing more irritating than fumbling with a tripod that has a 1/4 20 thread on

the head.

Once you have mounted your camera if you want to grab it to do a quick hand held shot or

even just to move the tripod - you would have to unscrew the threads from the camera and

then repeat the process all over when you are ready to mount the camera back on the

tripod.

Depending on the brand or model, a tripod may or may not come with a head.

Regardless, you will need one.

Feet come in rubber non-slip pads for most indoor and some outdoor shooting or a spike

which is best for outdoor shooting, the spikes hold the tripod firmly in the ground; and

depending on the tripod brand and model you may be able to add wheels or even ball bearing

feet.

Leg Locks are most commonly available as Twist types where you twist the leg to pull it out,

twist it in reverse to lock it in position or Lever locks where you open a lever to pull

a leg out, close it to lock it and there are also some custom options.

The Common Material – is what most of the tripod is made of.

The most common material is aluminum because it's inexpensive, but in the case of a heavy

duty tripod it can also add a lot of weight.

Carbon fiber is extremely durable and lightweight but indeed more expensive.

Some cheap tripods are made from plastic - the operative word being cheap and for the old

school large format shooters you can still find wooden tripods which are valuable if

you want to get your Ansel Adams game on.

I recommend buying a tripod that matches your height or is taller, so that you do not have

to bend to look into the viewfinder.

Once you put your camera on a tripod, the viewfinder should be at your eye level unless

you need to adjust for a creative camera angle.

Explore your camera angles BEFORE you open and set-up your tripod.

Since it takes time and effort to setup a tripod and since we tend to be a little lazier

about moving the tripod once it is set up - take a few moments to explore camera angles

and lens combinations for your shot - before you set-up the tripod.

This way you know you are beginning with an interesting camera angle.

Only extend the tripod legs only when needed.

The less you extend the legs - the sturdier you tripod will be.

Extend the thickest part of the tripod legs first, then the thinnest, for the most stability.

Before spreading the tripod's legs, adjust each leg's length.

This ensures that the legs are the same length and your tripod will be level.

However, if you are shooting on uneven ground, you will need to adjust each leg once the

tripod is in the correct spot.

If you are shooting outside in mud or on a beach - do extend just a little bit of the

bottom leg first so that you keep the locking mechanism out of the mud or sand.

Avoid the center column - it is the weakest and least stable part of your tripod.

There is no point in having your tripod solidly placed on three legs and then raising the

center column as high as it goes so that it can move around like a camera on a monopod.

The center column should only be used as a last resort.

Since you are usually working from the back of the camera, face a single tripod leg toward

the focal point of your composition.

Having two legs on the back side will create more stability and is less of a trip hazard.

Add some weight to the tripod.

Many tripods come with a hook at the bottom of the center column that will allow you to

hang a backpack or weight to add additional stability if you are working in windy conditions

or if your tripod is a bit too lightweight for the gear you have attached to it.

You can also use an accessory like the Stand Daddy that I talked about in this video and

attach small weights to the tripod legs.

Don't move the tripod with your camera attached.

Sure just a quick little move especially in an indoor setting it's no big deal, but

if you're shooting on location and especially working on rough terrain - don't risk having

the camera fall off the tripod or even simply stumbling while carrying the tripod.

Switch-off image stabilization and or vibration reduction while using a tripod.

When you are shooting with image stabilization or vibration reduction turned on, your lens

generates a minor shake that is meant to counter-act your hand movements.

This vibration ultimately reaches the camera and can introduce camera motion in your photos

when shooting at slower shutter speeds.

Use the mirror lock-up feature on your camera.

The shake caused by your cameras mirror may not affect your photos while you are shooting

at a fast shutter speed, but as you slow down the shutter speed the shake can become visible

in your photos.

To eliminate this, just manually lock the movement of the mirror.

This can easily be done by activating the mirror lock-up feature in your DSLR.

Check your camera's menu settings or consult the user manual to find out how.

Use the 2-second timer or a remote shutter release.

If you press the camera's shutter release while shooting at a slow shutter speed you

risk introducing camera movement even with the camera on a heavy tripod.

By using the 2-second timer feature you can do away with the camera shake as you are allowing

2 seconds for the camera to absorb that minor shake before exposing the photo.

If you want to be extra cautious and not take any chances, you can use a remote shutter

release or cable that allows you to shoot without touching the camera at all.

So there you have it.

Spending several hundred dollars on a tripod is definitely not as sexy or satisfying as

buying a new lens or camera body, but it is every bit as important.

While you are shooting, setting up the tripod may take some extra prep time, but the results

are worth the effort.

You'll also have to slow down and really think through how you want to set up a photograph

or what angle would work best with your subjects.

With just a little practice, you may find that using a tripod is easier than you think.

Next up in this two part video series on Tripods.

My favorite tripods and tripod heads and how and why I use them.

I hope you found this useful.

Please hit that thumbs up and subscribe so that you don't miss any videos and until

next time go pick up that camera and shoot something because your BEST shot - it's

your NEXT shot, so keep learning, keep thinking, keep shooting.

going month to month that's so much better now I'm also really excited

because last month I had so many great questions about the quantity membership

and I'm gonna use this opportunity to do a little bit more of a deep dive and

explain the membership a little bit more in depth because normally I just kind of

do the overview of like how you sign up how you closet how is it clothing right

- a subscription service it's for plus sizes you have the option to buy yada

yada yada and the free monthly trial and hope that nice neat stuff but I want to

actually take my camera pointed at my computer screen and show you my closet

show you how you closet things different things like priorities and whatnot so

today we are going to actually go through all of that right now and I've

got some some questions from you guys that I'm gonna answer along the way so

let's go ahead and get started unfortunately I don't have cool like

screen capture software so we're doing this old-school with my camera pointing

at my computer so if it's a little shaky Kim I do apologize so the first thing

that you're gonna do when you click the link of the description bar down below

it's gonna take you to the glennyb site so this will show you how to create an

account I already have an account so I'm gonna go ahead and log in this is my

information I actually know her I actually met her when I did the

commercial so hi once we are logged into the website this is the whole site here

they will have some curated collections like the pants guide autumn ease you

know little things like that I want to start out by showing you guys my closet

which is in the upper right hand corner right here it'll also show things like

points you get points for doing things like closet things or returning multiple

items at bag and you guys can see me in my mirror so what you're seeing here is

my closet I currently have three things in my closet so I have the three items

at a time membership and you can see how much it would cost to purchase these

things these were all a little bit more on the pricier side so I don't think I'm

going to be buying anything this time but that's okay you can totally use the

membership however you want to use it you can use it as a way to try and buy

things you can just use it as a rental subscription service it's totally up to

you the other option that they have you can see here at the bottom they have

this new thing called by returned favorites and I

really like this feature because you're able to actually get things that you've

returned that maybe you've rated highly so here I have a couple of things that

I've rented this is from additionnal I really like that skirt this Lucky Brand

jacket I really enjoyed so I might actually get that one for 36 bucks you

guys remember I love that toga top it's 18 bucks I'm thinking I might have to

pick it up so it's a really a great thing there's a slider here there's like

tons and tons of stuff so I think that is really cool it's one of the features

I really love about the membership the items that I actually have at home but

of course you have a virtual closet where you have tons of things that you

have liked so let me show you guys how you do that I'm going to go to the new

arrivals and I think I've already actually closeted a bunch of stuff well

let's go ahead and closet this Ellen Tracy dress the first thing that I'm

going to do especially when I'm not sure about a brand is I will go to the size

chart and figure out like okay what size do I actually wear so this one's

actually highlighted this is a suggested size for me based on my measurements my

waist is actually a 44 but my hips are bigger so sometimes I'll get things a

little bit bigger and then belt it so I'm going to go ahead and add the size

22 to my closet so here's what's in my closet you can see we have the dress I

just added and a bunch of other stuff you can see some things are highlighted

with priorities so if you really like something and that something you would

prefer to get before something else you can go ahead and highlight the

prioritize and then that one's going to be note that that's something you want

more than something else and then you can actually click to just see your

priorities and see okay these are all the things that I've said I really

really really want you can see some of the sweaters that I've printed before I

have a habit of reak Laza ting things if I really enjoyed something but maybe I

don't want to own it but I just like to wear it again I will absolutely reclose

it and if it's something new you will have a higher chance of getting it again

this month alone I had two things that I actually rented twice so we'll get to

that when we get to it dandy Kay asked me if there was a way to

look for things just by a designer and there is there's this great little thing

where you can find things by brand so let's say you only wanted to see things

from Adriana PayPal you can go ahead and click that you're gonna see all the

Adriana papel you could also search for things by color and by size because not

every designer carries every size so you can just find the things that are

actually gonna fit you there's another function as well I love

on hold so what I like to do is a couple times a year I will put some items on

hold that are more seasonal so here I have a lot of things that I either just

don't want at the moment or they're like short sleeve or very spring or something

like that where I just I don't think that I'm gonna wear them right now so I

went ahead and put them in my on hold another question about the membership

was can you pick specific items like you know let's say I wanted to rent this

loft dress like could I actually say I want this and only just get that dress

that's not really how it works you feel you're all set up with things you'd like

to rent so things that you that you're interested in and you know there's gonna

be a wide variety and for me not knowing that's part of the fun it makes it a

little bit more of an adventure to see what you will in fact get I've really

enjoyed the fact that it's like not knowable and then it's a little bit

randomized and it's like kind of like a surprise when you get it in the mail but

they are all things that I selected all things that I like and I use that

function to put things that are not seasonally appropriate into my on hold

but here's how you can kind of sort of rig the system essentially if you do

have an event coming up so let's say that you have a bunch of stuff in your

closet that's casual and workwear and everything else if you have an event

that you're going to that you just really need a great couple of dresses

for put everything in your on hold so you're not losing it you still have it

and you're on hold and it's really easy to just put things in the on hold and

then simply fill your closet up with things that are appropriate they

actually have a dressing up category where you can like pick cocktail dresses

or things for weddings and things like that so it's a really great way to kind

of game the system but you're still using the membership in the same way

you're still closet you'd like you're still gonna get something somewhat

randomly and in that case it can be really nice especially you have a

membership where have a few items at a time you'll get a couple of options in

you can send back what's not going to work and continue to rent it so it's

there's a lot of different ways that you can use it and once you actually member

it becomes more clear how you can actually use the tools of the membership

to work for you think that's most of what I wanted to cover today I without

going making this video run much too long so I started this month it was this

amazing kimono from Melissa McCarthy you guys know Melissa McCarthy is kind of

one of my favorites I love this kimono I've had this prioritize for quite some

time and when it finally came I was like it's a beautiful black background with

mustard colored flowers as you could tell I really love mustard it's just so

pretty I wore this with a dress from universal standard which is a brand

that I had only found out about because of quantity unfortunately I wore it with

some really unfortunate underwear so under undergarments are important people

I don't wear shapewear but these underwear did me no favors it was

laundry day okay like shit happens I also paired it with this great floppy

hat that I recently got it Target my beaded bag that I got from thread up so

just kind of pulling all those little elements together and some sandals I

love my Birkenstocks the next piece that I rented this month is from Gabby Skye

and this dress was so amazing you guys it's a sweater dress and this is

something I found really interesting so I have a lot of other sweater dresses

and most the most part there might be a little bit curved but they're mostly

just kind of straight up and down in your body does the work to make it look

curvy dress was actually kind of like curved in the way that it was like like

knit and the way that it was cut and everything was totally curved so this is

by far the most flattering sweater dress I have ever worn it was so beautiful I

was a little bit sad to send it back because I mean look at it it's so

perfect but in the end I realized I probably don't need donut I'm probably

gonna reclose it it though it's so pretty

I have this dress paired with my favorite array boots which I talked

about my wide width shoe video so be sure to watch that video if you haven't

already I know in my last going to be video a ton of you requested that so I

will have that linked in the description bar down below the next piece that I

rented is from a brand called Liotta now Liotta is a brand where I sometimes were

three and some knows were four and in this one I definitely could have worn a

four I was just a little bit too tight and a little too short so it was cute it

was fun I wore doubt I returned it that's that's the story of that aired I

love the color the color was so pretty just it wasn't for me and this is one of

those things where like if you're shorter than me that dress would

probably work better for you I'm five six so if you're shorter than that that

might be a better length for you this top is from American Rag and I believe

this is in a size 3x it's a really great like transitional season piece where

like it's starting to get a little bit cooler but it wasn't at this point

actually cool now it's actually starting to called like cold down cool down here

in Northern California I'm like oh thank gosh it's like finally fall it's a

really great transitional like longer sleeve so it's like it's nice and a

little bit warmer but like not super hot and sweaty and gross it's a great

transitional piece they have it paired with a pair of pants from torrid and the

shoe are also from torrid I'm gonna take this

opportunity to talk about something else one of the questions I got last month

was where I got the ripped up jeans this is one of the pairs of jeans I think I

wore so that is it's from torrid there was another pair that I wore with the

sweater and those are from rwn and I'm working on a review video for rwn so

that will be coming up soon this next top is from a brand called

skies or blue and you guys have seen me wear this in a couple of videos it was

so cute and comfortable I love the cold shoulder detailing and a little detail

here the print on it was so so cute it was a little shorter than what I

probably would like in the top I like my tops would be just a little bit longer

they either need to be like tight and tuckable or like longer and flowy

that's just my personal preference this was really cute that I enjoyed the crap

out of renting it and I paired that with a pair of jeans also from rwy this next

dress is from a brand called Park in Pierce and has such a cool interesting

texture to it it's not quite velvet it's more like woven than velvet is I don't

know if you guys can see the texture there but it's super cool

I'm renting this dress in a size 22 W and it is it just fits me so perfectly

it has zipper pockets and zips all the way down so there's different things

that you can do with that um obviously just have you can just wear as a dress

like that but the other thing you can do is use it as a layering piece so I have

this dress right here from curvy cents which online look like it was just gonna

be kind of a short dress in person it's like barely even a t-shirt like it's

super super short in fact like my butt hangs out of it it's just it's kind of

crazy I could never wear this just by itself but with this layered over it

covers my butt so I can wear it as a dress if I'd like so it's a really great

way to kind of try things out you can have it zipped up like I have it zipped

up right now kind of like a cute little you know or you can have it unzipped

it's really kind of up to you there's lots of different styling options that

you can go with this I also paired this curvy sense t-shirt with a skirt from

Tracy Reese this is a plenty by tracy release this dress I got the earth skirt

I kind of like need to like have a little conversation about so I

originally had for some reason closet of this and a 4x and it was like entirely

way too big like they're like I couldn't even try it on because we just fall off

like it was ridiculous so I immediately sent it back and reclose

and miracle of miracles the 3x came which I'm so excited about and that

again when something's new you have a little bit of a better chance just

because they have more of them in rotation so um the even the 3x was kind

of big for this one so with this skirt I would definitely recommend sizing down

again I have this shown here in the 3x but can we just talk about the huge full

skirt that this is it is so fun so beautiful the color is gorgeous

if this wasn't $91 I would consider actually purchasing it it is so so

beautiful the pleats in it and everything just make it's so lovely it's

just one of the best skirts I've ever borrowed and that's what I love about

glennyb is being able to read you know some things are a little more accessible

like American brag and things like that were I you know it's just trying a it's

just getting more clothes to wear but then there's stuff like this we're like

I can't afford this $90 skirt just on the rag Oh kind of out of my price range

for this skirt at this time but it's beautiful and it's definitely something

that I will reclose it and wear again because it's so beautiful and fun and

look at that flow it's just one of the most fun things I've ever worn I'll also

have some bonus footage of this at the end when I freaked my husband out doing

something you'll see last couple things I've rented this month you guys have

already seen so the loft dress that I showed in last month's video was

technically for this month because if I've rented it during the month of

October I ended up purchasing this and using it for my olena costume so if you

haven't already seen my oblivion video I know Halloween's over but you still

might get a kick out of it oh the final thing that I rented this month is from

Tiana B it's the same dress I rented last month and just to prove it to you

guys that I'm not just like showing it again here it is I filmed this outfit

just now when I filmed this one as well so yeah I definitely am currently

renting it again it's a great dress I love the accordion pleating and I one

thing that I do kind of wish that Gwennie of you would do is when you

return something give you the option to immediately read clause that it would be

really really helpful or even do like a hold on it or something we're like you

rent it you return it you're like I want to reclassed this in three weeks and

where it would like automatically reclose it it's just an idea

it's just something I'd like to throw out there so now we get to the part of

the video where I shout out all of our new community community members and I

have to start out actually by showing you an apology

jeetu Ashley Newell and dot bow bot I think it's how you say your username I

actually look for dot bow bot on Instagram to kind of find her photo to

reshare it and her account was private so I can't but I'm so sorry that I

skipped your I talked about you last month but I didn't show your photo so

I'm sorry about that Ashley Newell had actually a new

submission you are so cute honestly you're a dull and I'm so

thankful that you were very gracious about me apologizing to you so I wanted

to start out by apologizing to you again and as I feel bad the next person that I

want to share is Miss Ashley McNeill she would this really cute plaid and like

floral top rented from going to be you look so so cute you also rented this

really not sure if it's the jacket or the dress but I think it's the dress and

you look so so darling in that as well of course I want to shout out groomer 9

3 1 you are so adorable I love this the stripe boyfriend blazer that you're

renting I am totally gonna closet that I also wanted to shout out this really

great dress that you're wearing it has great fall colors in it you are so like

those shoes like oh I see you I see you with your shoes vegan bombshell we're

into these really great Art Deco leggings from quani B where's my bestie

rented this dress which is in my closet actually and I'm so jealous that you got

this dude I'm just like seething with jealousy but natural selector went to

this really great palm print dress and that's it for this video thank you guys

so much for watching let me know if you have any additional questions about

quani B I have been a member for a couple of years now so I have a really

good idea of how the membership works and I'm really passionate about it

clearly I think it's such a great way to get a lot of clothes injected into your

wardrobe to try new things try new brands try new shapes try try try try

try and you can try it for free so go ahead and click the link of the

description bar down below to sign up for your first 30 days for free there

was one other question which has really nothing to do with glennyb specifically

but it was asked in last month's video so I wanted to go ahead and address it

here and somebody asked me if I knew of a great crossbody dress or dress cross

body purse that would fit a plus-sized so this is my Britt stitch bag which I

got from ModCloth I don't think ModCloth carries Britt such anymore I'm not 100%

sure about that but this is a company I definitely recommend it's a little on

the pricier side but the strap is very long I'm gonna go

ahead and stand up and show you guys so you can see it's very long it definitely

hits below my waist and I don't even have it on the loosest little bob thing

here so this is a great bag it's held up two years of use and abuse and it's what

I definitely recommend so that is this month's video thank you guys so much for

watching and with that let me show you guys this clip of me freaking my husband

out when I pulled down my skirt to reveal that I was still wearing another

dress I'm integer tacky just remember to be

your own kind of beautiful bite all I didn't know that I was like honey we're

in the courtyard this was sold as a dress on her recently too short to be a

dress
