1 Randy Orton lost his streak at the Survivor Series The Vipers name is the first one to pop in mind when we talk about the Survivor Series.
The master of RKO was either the winner or the last man to be eliminated from his team until this year. Notably, his streak began in 2003 when he competed as part of Team Bischoff.
He eliminated Shawn Michales to defeat Team Austin. His victory marked the retirement of Stone Cold as Raws Co-General Manager.
However, last Sunday The Viper was eliminated second last which left SmackDown Live's Commissioner as the last man on their team. His elimination marked the end of his unprecedented streak.
2 Kurt Angle didn't end the match The match was promoted in a huge way. It considerably highlighted the friction between Kurt Angle and Shane McMahon.
It would have been poetic to see Shane McMahon, the SmackDown Live Commissioner, tap out to Kurt Angle, the Raw General Manager. However, Triple H sabotaged the occasion as he pedigreed his own team captain.
Further, his reunion with his brother-in-law was momentary as The Game soon delivered pedigree to Shane McMahon to steal the victory.
Triple H stirred emotions among the fans with the possibility of his feuds with Shane McMahon, Kurt Angle, and Braun Strowman. However, Shane's tapping out to the Ankle Lock could have been the moment of the year.
3 Underused John Cena Adding John Cena to the equation certainly brightened the stardom of the match. It was exciting to watch as both teams picked their major superstars for the key match.
Sadly, the veteran's in-ring actions were limited. He spent most of his time at the ringside cheering for his team.
After his loss to Roman Reigns at No Mercy, Mr HLR candidly acknowledged that he felt lightened as the torch was passed from him to the younger talents.
But using him as a sidekick in the main event is surely not the best use of the sixteen times World champion.
4 Triple H's Skirmish Triple H put himself in the elimination match just five days before the event. In the short duration since his return, the Cerebral assassin had delivered pedigrees to Jason Jordon, Kurt Angle, and Shane McMahon.
He was also involved in a tussle with Braun Strowman. Clearly, there are a lot of ideas in the air before finalizing the story-line for his match at Wrestle Mania 34.In fact, it is safe to say they are far too many.
A decent part of the active roster is currently engaged with him. This reduces booking possibilities for the rest of the roster. We are afraid that this could lead to last-minute storylines for the remaining superstars.
5 Jinder Mahals absence Jinder Mahal was completely removed from the Survivor Series. He was the WWE champion for the significant part of 2017.
Notably, he is going to headline the Indian tour. The proposed match card suggests that he will defend his WWE championship in India. Hence, we expect him to become the WWE champion in near future (probably at the Night of Champions).
At Survivor Series, fans were anticipating a throwback from him at AJ Styles after Brock Lesnar defeated AJ Styles in a spectacular match. For the least, a backstage interview was certainly due for the former WWE champion.
