The principles of animation +. 9b) Secondary action (examples)

Hi! I'm Vaggelis from vktoons and I'll show to you, who're interested in animation

animated examples for secondary action.

So, we'll watch two examples almost identical.

A hand holds a cane which it hits on the ground.

In the first example the cloth, doing the secondary action,

moves accordingly. In the second example,

we'll see how the movement of the cloth can acquire characteristics of a main action.

Both exampled will be animated in Toon Boom Studio. Let's go!

Let's watch the scene and talk about the move.

The hand/arm and the cane tell us the story.

The man, whose arm hits the cane on the ground

does it in a way that shows that he is determined or in anger

- we don't see that, but we can assume it watching the move -

SO the main action - hand/arm and cane -

are animated in twos. On the contrary, the cloth is animated in ones

and gives vitality, without exaggeration and without overlapping for a long time.

That way we understand that our hero is a very serious guy.

But, if want to show that this character is, i.e. a paranoic or if we want to show

that air plays a significant role at the plan,

what we created here, does it do our job?

It is difficult to get that element from here.

So, lets work again on the movement of the cloth.

The arm/hand makes the exact same move, as it did before.

But now the cloth has a more exaggerate move,

and overlapping hold enough.

The movement is "crazy"

and that way we understand more about our character.

He is one close to wear straitjacket

or there is too much air in the scene.

So, here the secondary action tells the story and gets the role of a main action.

All righty guys we are back with another speed test today

We have the brand new iPhone 10 on my left versus the iPhone 7 plus on the right now

Just to show you guys that these are the exact phones as you guys can see the brand new iPhone 10 there

And the seven plus here

I've just picked up the 10 and the obvious 7 plus was in my last test versus the iPhone 8 plus now

I was going to get the iPhone 8 plus and test that but because they have the same specs

They're pretty much identical

There is pretty much no reason to do that so we are testing

The iPhone 10 and iPhone 7 plus all right guys as always I'm just going to show you the settings before I boot down these

Devices so as you guys can see they both have one photo or one video

I should I say 17 applications now my seven plus is 128 gig and my

IPhone 10 is 64 gig. That's the only difference pretty much between these two phones right now so as you guys can see there

So I'm going to get out of that and I'm going to boot it down the phone

So let's brute down and start them back up as you guys can see I do have the charges connected

So at the same time I'm going to flick the power on

And then both devices should be our boot to power on at the same time and see which one actually boots up faster

Right so now. I'm going to power them both off at the same time I

Don't think it really makes the difference and see which one and then once I do plug the charger back in

We'll see which one starts up first already guys both devices are off so on the count of three

I'm going to flick the switch and see which one that boots up faster one

All right so both of them have been plugged in

iPhone 7 plus coming on first their iPhone 10 just behind

Geekbench speed test Mario run astronaut eight Infinity Blade three. We're racing three iMovie to export a 4k movie

YouTube and Twitter and see which one

Comes up on top or just which one is just faster overall so first of all we're gonna open up

Maps and see which one starts or brings up maps quicker so on the count of three one

Now just so you guys know they both are also on the same Wi-Fi network

If that helps you now, I'm not going to clear the app switches, so obviously let that RAM do its work

So if you have a seven plus, and you just want to upgrade if you just wanted a new screen obviously yes

But in terms of spec wise there's not much of a difference

On paper there is but in person and using a day-to-day. There's not much of a difference right now, so Apple now one

But like I said not much of a difference now what I'm getting to opening some apps

Because that's where we might see a bit of a difference so first of all I want to run a Geekbench on both devices

Obviously they're both running iOS 11.1 as you guys saw

11 Bionic chip, er and 18 fusion chip there, so we're there it is bright throwing three gigs of ram as well

So we'll see which one comes up on top

Alright guys so both devices are done here now the iPhone 7 plus actually finished first surprisingly now single core score

4237 on the iPhone 10 first iPhone 7 plus with the score of 3458 a multi-core score on the 10

10244 verse

5800 36 now this obviously the same processor as the iPhone

8 plus so the scores should be pretty similar, but again, this is very much half the score in terms of multi-core score on the

IPhone 10 and it still keeps up with it which is pretty good, so I'm gonna get out of that

Yeah, there. We go going to speed test now. I'm gonna run individual speed tests

So we don't run into any problems

I'll start with the iPhone 10 alright, so we've got the

Eighty two point four two megabits download and the one point three six upload not too bad now

We'll check the seven plus alright so the iPhone 7 plus scored 45 point six six

Megabits down and a one point one up now

They were on the same service on the changes and see if we can get different results

All right, so we'll try that one more time and see if we get anything different all right so the scores come in

They're pretty much similar to last time now

We'll test the seven plus one more time on the same server

See what score that gets all right again the iPhone 7 plus similar to similar score - last time

I don't know. Why it keeps getting a higher ping. They're on the same Wi-Fi network

Different times obviously, I'm starting to test that and the same server so this shouldn't be getting that but it is so anyway

They're the scores, so that's pretty consistent on both devices

There next up we're going to start with some games so first of all we'll do some Mario run

So the count of three I start Mario run and see which one opens first one

So Mario run has just been optimized. I'm pretty sure for the iPhone 10 as you guys can see

I'm gonna keep tapping tapping and hopefully they start the exact at the same time

Now I'm just going to be surprised

Let me just turn the volume down on both devices

So we just got out of Mario run the iPhone 10 did actually win there?

But it wants us to make an account, so we're going to move on to asphalt 8 on the count of three one two

Alright, so it looks like they're pretty similar right now iPhone 7 plus actually got a head there now

I want to see which one if the brute force of the iPhone Note iPhone 7 plus

What wins and at the iPhone 10th there we go comes in a few seconds over actually so the iPhone?

So they're pretty much neck and neck yet these intros go for a long time

But it was pretty pretty spot-on there for both phones pretty same pretty much the same so alright last step

Ok so the iPhone 10 was just a hair in front there, but like I said in day to day usage

It might add up a little bit, but nothing too significant so pretty good on both phones

So I find seven pies I was pretty shocked again

When I be compared the iPhone 8 plus to the seven puzzle is pretty similar as well

So there shouldn't be too much of a difference between this is just pushing a few more pixels obviously

LevelUp I KickOut I Tutorial plus Workout - Duration: 12:55.

Hello everybody, It's me again Petair and welcome to Breakletics.

Today I gonna show you a new category: "Level Up"

First, I will show you an exercise and then increase its difficulty step by step.

This can be done in various ways. For example you need more strength, mobility or speed in order to master the exercise.

There are many criterias how to level up an exercise.

I will always show you 3 different levels.

VERY IMPORTANT: always start with level 1!

Do not try the difficult ones first - always start with the basics!

But how do you know when to step further to level 2, 3, 4, 5, etc.?

Pretty easy: at the end of this tutorial you will be able to train with me together.

I will train each level for 2min.

If you are able to keep up the whole workout with level1 you can move on to level2 and so on.

However each level is very important!

Please notice that if you have once reached level 20, it doesn't mean that you should never ever train the exercise with level1, 2 or 6.

Because the used muscle group can be changed or as I said the focus moves from strength, mobility, balance etc

So now enjoy the Kick-Out tutorial level 1-3.

First I am gonna show you slowly each step.

Then at the end of the tutotrial you will the 2min workout with which you can train together with me.

Don't worry if you fail the first try. Just give urself a break & recover!

! Then give it another try the next day a give your best to keep up the 2min workout.

Hey guys, let's start the tutorial!

But first: always warm-up! It's very important no matter how energized you feel!

We start with level1 and in the boxposition.

Keep a 90° angle with your knees.

Very Important: always keep your wrist under your shoulder! Even during the whole exercise.

You have to be able to comfortably bounce. Then you are in the right position.

Now move one leg under your body to the opposite site and keep you knees angled.

Then move out the other leg but this time keep your knee straight.

Step back and back into the box position.

Step, Kick, Step, Step, Side, Front Step, Step Side, Front

Very important: keep your sole on the ground!

A common mistake is to use the side foot. Avoid this mistake by keeping your sole on the ground

To hold a plank in the box position is easier then doing a straight plank due to less bodyweigth.

Level2 will start in the straight plank position.

So there are not a lot of changes but you have to flex your abs and back much stronger now.

Start position is the plank. Keep your body tension.

One leg diagonal to the side Step

Step, Back, back

diagonal to the side with an 90° angle Kick to the front back, back

Step, Kick, Back, back

Step, Kick, Back, back

Keep your back always straight, your wrists under your shoulders and your soles on the ground.

This was level2

Now let's move on to level3

We do the same exercise again but this time starting from the elbowplank.

Now you have to use more mobility to master this level as there is less space between your body and the ground.

Starting position: elbow plank.

It's up to you if you keep your hands together or apart. The beginning is the same.

Push your butt a little bit higher.

Step to the side, kick

Back, back

Kick to the side, as you can see there is less space between your knee and the ground, kick

Try to keep you leg straight and your elbows under your shoulders.

The wider you kick the more you improve your mobility.

This were the 3 levels of the Kick-Out. Have fun trying them out!
