Greetings.
Welcome you all to Crime Patrol, Dial 100.
Today we will watch the second and the last part
of yesterday's story.
You saw in the last episode that Mitra and her father
were murdered in an abnormal way.
During this incident
a mysterious girl was seen wandering
near Mitra's house.
Police was suspecting her.
According to Ranjan
he killed his sister eight years ago
by pushing her off a running train.
And on the other side
according to the village head of Iggatpuri
that mysterious girl was his to-be-daughter-in-law.
And she died six months ago.
It was important for the police to know
who among Ranjan and the village head is lying
and who is telling the truth. And what this girl has to do
with Mitra and her father's death.
Come let's watch.
{\an5}It will take almost two and half hours
for us to reach your village from Mumbai.
We have lots to do but we have no time.
So, don't waste the time and tell us.
Where did you meet this girl and when?
Sir.
Sir, Rati and I met at Dr. Rane's clinic in our village
for the first time.
Clinic! - Yes.
About eight years ago..
I fell while getting off the tractor.
My leg was fractured.
Dr. Rane performed the operation.
I go for checking once in two months.
{\an5}Doctor. Slowly. It's hurting.
Don't worry, sir.
Thanks to the soil, food and air of the village.
This is a regular sprain.
You'll be fine in a few days. Don't worry.
I'll prescribe some medicines.
What do you mean don't worry?
I'll take your leave, Doctor. - Yes.
Listen. You can leave.
But you'll have to come here for four to five days continuously.
For the massage.
I'll teach you a few exercises. Keep doing it.
Rati. - Yes.
Give him these medicines from the dispensary.
Give him a massage.
I'll teach him a few exercises. Make sure he does it. Okay?
Go.
Doctor. - Yes.
She..
She is Rati. She works here.
Okay.
She is an orphan.
She'll take care of you from today.
You don't worry.
You will be fine. Okay? - Yes..
Sir.
Rati, was a beautiful, good-natured girl
I can walk only because of her.
Yes. I was not able to walk.
{\an5}Rati. You have magic in your hands.
{\an5}I feel very good when you massage.
{\an5}You keep coming here.
{\an5}I'll massage and make sure you are fine.
{\an5}Dear, who taught you all this?
{\an5}Me? Doctor taught me this. - Wow.
{\an5}You are smart.
{\an5}I didn't even know her before that.
{\an5}But whenever she used to come in front of me
{\an5}I used to feel affinity towards her.
{\an5}I started feeling
{\an5}that she is like my daughter.
What will Rati do now?
Who will take care of her now?
We will take care of her.
Come on.
Leave her.
Aren't you ashamed? What has she done?
She didn't do anything.
I'm taking her to give her a life.
Mister, who are you? Where are you from?
Who are you? Why are you interfering?
What is your relationship with her? Are you her brother?
Are you her father? Who are you?
What will you tell your wife after taking her home?
Sister or mistress.
Mistress!
You scoundrel. You called her a mistress. - Sir.
Don't take an advantage of being a village head.
What is your relation with her? - She is my daughter.
Remember one thing.
I'll turn your life miserable
if you dare to trouble the ladies of my house.
Get lost!
Out..
Such cheap people!
Dear. Don't worry.
Don't cry.
I'm alive now.
Don't cry. I'm with you.
This is my small house.
You won't feel scared..
No, Brother. No. - I asked you to leave.
You ruined my reputation. - What happened?
Brother, listen to me. - Rati!
Come in, dear.
Feel at home.
You won't have any problem here.
Just tell me what you want. I'll get it for you.
Dear.
Dear.
Dear. Don't cry.
Don't cry..
You will stay here. I'm like your father.
Sir.
Rati was happy at my house which was her new house.
My son, Shashank, who was training to become a pilot
in Pune had come home during the vacation.
I felt that he fell in love with Rati.
He started liking him.
Dad! When did you come?
Me! I came when you were
concentrating there.
Shashank.
Our house looks clean and good, right?
Your mom used to keep it like this.
Very good. - Right?
Dear, this will remain for only a few more days.
Dark night..
Where is it dark, sir?
Nowhere. You get in.
I'll talk to you later.
Why, Dad?
Look. Rati has grown up.
She is getting marriage proposals.
We have to get her married.
She will belong to some other family.
Then the environment here will be like before.
Shashank. You can get rid of the darkness.
How do I do it, Dad?
Listen. If you like Rati
I'll get you married to her.
Yes? Tell me..
All right. If you say so..
And if you want this house to feel like home again
I'll do it. - What did you say?
Yes. I'll do it.
There were two months left
for Shashank's flying course to end.
So I thought of not making their marriage a grand event
because that could have affected his studies.
Then, I made them stand before the altar
and made them exchange garlands.
And had them married at home itself.
I thought when Shashank gets a job
I would invite the whole village.
But can all our dreams come true?
Instead of happiness
ill-omen flew into the house.
This will look lovely on you.
This is my gift.
Where's your gift? - My gift?
Well, you look lovely today.
Now give me my gift.
Help me..
Help!
My son Shashank's wedding night
became an ill-omened night
for Rati and me.
Truly an ill-omened night!
Forgive me..
Oh, no, brother. I'll do it. - I said leave it.
What happened? - You tainted my reputation..
Brother.. Listen to me.. Brother.. - Rati!
According to the sarpanch, Rati's death was caused
by a fire 6 months back.
But contradicting this tale was Ranjan's story
that stated Rati's death to be caused 8 years back
when he pushed her out of a running train.
Amidst all this, according to Mitra's neighbours
they'd seen the mysterious girl
or Rati during these incidents.
So what was the truth, then? Was Rati truly alive?
If so, then where was she at the moment?
And the biggest question is that if she was alive
why did she kill Mitra and her father?
Sir, this is the spot
{\an5}where my daughter-in-law and son were reduced to ashes.
Come..
Sarpanch, we are really sorry to hear
about the loss of your son and daughter-in-law.
But I cannot understand one thing.. - What?
You must know Ranjan?
Who is Ranjan? - 'Who is Ranjan?'
Ranjan is the prime suspect in a murder case in Mumbai.
He is in our custody now.
And you were enquiring about him outside our precinct.
Why have they caught Ranjan?
He is accused of a murder. Investigation is going on.
I? - He was also the brother of your future daughter-in-law.
Do you remember anything? - No.. - No problem.
Let's go to the precinct. You'll remember everything!
Put him in the car. - But, sir.. Me?
Mhatre. - Sir!
He thinks we are here for a picnic.
So he narrated to us a story to pass the time.
That was a terribly pathetic and poor plot for a story.
You failed to recognise Ranjan which is all right.
But you made a mistake by recognising Rati.
Now, we are going to find out the truth
that too from you!
Sir. Please, believe this old man.
I really don't know any Ranjan.
Mhatre..
Sometimes there are some special guests at a function
who have to be coaxed
to eat at the party and be comfortable.
I think he wants us to request him.
Don't worry, sir. I'll take such good care of him
that he will have to swallow up whatever we present to him!
And then, he will blurt out the truth.
I-I'm.. Really..
The police felt like the Sarpanch was lying to them.
But then it raised a question, too. Why was he lying?
Amongst the bank of questions, the prime question was
what was the connection of Ranjan, his sister
and this sarpanch with the occultist Mitra
and her father's murder?
{\an5}Can you stop the car, sir. I need to pee.
What's the matter? - I need to pee.
Sit quiet. Go wherever you want after the hearing.
It's an emergency, sir. I can't control it! I need to go!
Pull over.
Shinde, go along.
Sir! - Hey! Shinde, stop him!
Hey! Hey!
Hey!
You search that way. I'll check this way.
Rati..
Sir, Ranjan slipped out of our custody.
What! Tambe, were you sleeping on duty?
Circulate his photo in all the precincts around.
I want Ranjan in my custody within 24 hours. - Okay, sir.
Look, try and understand.
I need to do this, now. Come to my place.
Okay. Follow their lead.
Tambe has found a new link to Palak.
Take these property documents. Check it well.
And transfer the money into my account as soon as possible.
I need the money. - I'll give you the advance now.
What was the haste in selling the property?
Because I was starting to find that house ill-omened.
So I thought of selling all the property from here
and shifting my residence.
Where? With Ranjan? - No, sir.
I have no contact or relation with him of any kind!
Whom you were in love with and whom you would quarrel for
with your sister, you hate him so despicably now! Why?
Because he murdered my sister and father.
How do you know that? - Sir, if that is not true
why did he flee from your custody?
Did he run away or did you help him do that?
In reality, every move of his was planned by you.
You killed Mitra and your dad, transferred the property
on your name. And you were ready to sell it and run away!
And you attempted making this incident seem supernatural.
Sir, that isn't true! Believe me. I am innocent!
You are not innocent!
Tell us, why did you pretend to be Rati
and what do you know about her?
Hang me to death. But don't torture me, for God's sake.
Sir, I haven't killed my father and my sister.
I am telling you the truth. I don't even know this Rati..
This episode of murder became such a web of crime
where in there was murder, betrayal and physical abuse
and who knows how many more crimes were intertwined.
In this story, Ranjan's sister, Rati
was the most mysterious character of the plot.
In order to unravel the mystery lying hidden
amongst these incidents, it was important
to bring Rati's mystery to light.
I have sinned! I have committed a grave sin..
I have sinned! Forgive me!
Forgive me..
Forgive me, now! I've sinned, please forgive me.
Sir, all the prime suspects that we have
aren't ready to take the blame for Mitra and her dad's murder.
And we do not have anything besides suspicion
with regards to them.
We are missing an important link in this case!
Let's study this case from the start.
Firstly, Mitra's father is murdered.
Then, it was Mitra's turn.
The situations created before us were such to make us believe
that a ghost committed these murders.
There are three prime suspects to this case.
One is Ranjan.
Who has fled from our custody.
Second is Mitra's husband, Prashant.
And the third is Mitra's sister, Palak.
Palak had an affair with Ranjan..
Which led to a fight between Palak and Mitra.
Prashant and Palak are in custody.
However we don't have evidence to prove that both of them
are behind the murder.
At that point, Ranjan tells us that he pushed his sister, Rati
out of a running train.
We are investigating about it when the Sarpanch walks in
who tells us that Ranjan's sister, Rati
did not die 8 years back but 6 months ago by burning.
All the time we are being directed towards believing
that a ghost caused these occurrences. When in reality
we will not buy this story now or even in the future.
Have you yourself checked Rati and Shashank's autopsy report?
Yes, sir.
Both the bodies were burnt completely.
And who identified them? - The Sarpanch.
Sarpanch. Do you remember what he told us?
My son Shashank's wedding night
was an ill-fated night
for Rati and me.
Do you remember the theory we sketched out in the train.
Rati may have faked her death.
Maybe that is why she is seen in Mumbai.
Contact Mhatre.
Tell him to find out
if there are any corpses missing
from the morgues at the village.
If we get the answer to this, consider the case solved.
{\an5}Look at this sketch. Have any of you seen her?
{\an5}Believe us, sir. We haven't seen her.
Look at her carefully. Have any of you seen her?
Not this girl, but I have seen another girl with this man.
Whom are you talking about?
The same old man whom she got with herself
once or twice.
Do you remember her face? - No, sir.
I don't remember her face properly.
Do you remember the number plate of the car they came in? - No.
You must have surveillance cameras around.
Yes, sir. We have them.
Show me the footage.
Come with me, sir. I'll show you the footage.
Come.
Pause it.
Yes, note down this vehicle number.
MH-02-2111, I need all the details about this vehicle.
Sir
I have got a lead.
A girl was seen with that village head in the hotel
where he was staying.
And the interesting part is
even her flat is in the same area as that of Mitra's
What is her name?
Yes, I am Seema Pawar.
Even I hail from the same village.
My father and the village head are good friends.
When he had come here for treatment
I had helped him.
Because this was his first visit to Mumbai.
Look at this sketch. Do you know this girl?
Yes, sir. I have seen her.
Even she was present with him that day.
We want to interrogate you.
How many times do you want to interrogate.
I told you, right? - You keep interrogating me all the time.
I had told you earlier
And I'm saying it again.
Rathi was my to-be daughter-in-law.
She is no more now.
Sir, Tambe here
can't stand liars.
He doesn't care even if they are old.
He beats them up brutally.
Try and see whether your torture
can make me change my statement.
Hello.
Sir, we have some good news for you.
The local police have arrested the staff of the morgue
in the village from where you had purchased a dead body.
They have beaten him to a pulp.
He is in police custody now.
The decision lies with you.
Will you confess the truth
or shall I beat you to a pulp?
Sir, I had brought Rathi to my house
to keep her happy.
But.. But I had no idea
that my son was not human
but a beast.. He was a beast.
Yes.
Do you need anything?
I am thirsty.
Fine, I'll get you some water.
I don't want water, I want you.
If I get to sleep with you, my thirst will be quenched.
Let me go.
Leave my hand. Leave me.
Leave me. - Fulfil my desire.
I'll let you go after that.
Shashank! - Sir.
I did a mistake, Dad. I was just..
What were you up to?
You've committed a sin. - Dad, forgive me.
Forgiveness! You won't get forgiveness.
You'll have to pay for it. You'll have to marry her.
No, Dad. What are you saying?
I won't marry her.
Anyway, she is not my type.
Hey, mister!
Unbelievable!
You didn't think if she was your type
when you were trying to molest her, did you?
Let me get this straight.
You will have to marry her.
Otherwise, you won't get a penny of my property.
Forget that you ever had a father. Get it?
Okay, Dad.
If this is the punishment you want to give me for my mistake
then so be it.
I am willing to marry this girl
after I complete my flying course.
Right and wrong are just words.
Nobody wants a poor man's job.
Sir.
Yes. - Sir
I want to discuss something important with you.
Come on. Come.
Sit.
Sit down. Come on.
Tell me.
Sir, I.. I want to confess a truth to you.
Go ahead, Rathi, what is it?
The truth after knowing which..
After knowing which, perhaps you
will never make me your daughter-in-law.
Sir. - Yes.
When.. When I was young, I have gone through a lot, sir.
I have undergone many atrocities. - Oh!
When I was a kid, my uncle tried to molest me.
And then it was Lallan in Nasik.
When I met you, I saw a ray of hope.
But the doctor who had rescued me
he himself..
The way you treated and took care of the village head
I want you to do the same to me.
Doctor, but he was injured.
But you are not injured.
Injury!
See here, I am deeply injured now.
See here. - What.. - I'm injured now. - Why did you do this?
See, I am injured now. Get the first aid.
Get the first aid.
See here. - Why did you do this? - I am deeply injured.
Come on, do the first aid. Hurry up!
Why did you do this to yourself?
Hereafter,
I am your patient and you, my doctor.
You should take proper care of me!
Got it?
Come with me. - Come. - Where are you taking me? - Come.
Come. - Where are you taking me?
Hey, wait. Listen.
Listen.
Listen, open the door.
Don't commit this sin. She is a kid.
Yes, continue the medicine. And even the exercise..
Come with me. - Please, no. Leave..
You never listen to my words. - I'll call you later.
I tried to make you understand so many times.
Now suffer. She is pregnant. - What!
What nonsense are you talking?
I am telling the truth.
Get lost! Come with me.
Come. - No. - Come with me. - Where are you taking her?
Listen.
Don't worry.
{\an5}You'll have great fun today.
Hey, listen up.
Tonight, you'll have to entertain my friend.
Do you get it? Do you?
What are you doing?
Leave my hand. - Hey!
Don't you understand?
Don't you understand?
Sugandha, quickly get me some tea.
Rathi, get him a cup of tea.
Hey
you were acting very haughty last night.
You came to your senses by morning?
Stay like this.
You will enjoy a good life.
Go.
Sir, tell me now
will you still accept me as your daughter-in-law
despite all this?
Pay attention to my words.
You need not have to tell this to anyone.
Not even to Shashank.
No, sir.
Put your past behind.
And I swear on you
I will get you married to Shashank.
Rathi, you will become my daughter-in-law.
Sir, I did whatever I felt was right.
But anyway
I lost my only son
because of it.
How is that?
Sir, it is my bad luck. My misfortune.
Shashank had overheard our conversation.
He wanted to take an advantage of the same.
He was blackmailing Rati
to have a sexual relation
with him before the marriage.
You need to decide now.
Do you want to go to jail or stay with me?
I am asking you to stay with me!
I will not tell anyone that you are a killer.
Look.. - Leave me.
You need to leave this village after you satisfy me.
Leave me!
That's it! Or else I will take you along!
Yes! You will be mine. Both of us will enjoy.
We don't need to get married to enjoy our life.
Leave me! - Don't act too smart! Come on!
Save me!
After the police's efforts and the head's statement
it was proved that this
mysterious girl, Rati, was still alive.
The police just had one challenge.
It was to find Rati, arrest her and find out as
to how she and her brother, Ranjan, were related to
Mitra and her father's death.
We need Rati and Ranjan's address.
You have told many stories until now.
I will not listen to anymore stories.
I just want to know the truth now.
Hey, come on! Start speaking!
Tell me!
Both of us used to love each other a lot.
We would have lived a very happy life but
our uncle ruined everything for us.
That night my uncle wasn't killed by Rati but me.
I set his room on fire.
And.. And I killed the doctor.
When I think about it now, I feel that I should
have killed him much earlier.
What did you add to the tea?
A poison which directly attacks the heart
and stops its functions.
I got to know about this medicine from the doctor.
Why did you kill Shashank?
I didn't kill Shashank, sir.
He died on his own!
He was forcing himself upon me and that's when
the candle fell down and he got burnt.
Help, Rati! Help me!
Help me!
How did you reach Mumbai?
I didn't have any other option left after Shashank's death.
This girl was suffering without
doing anything.
I treated the caretaker
with alcohol, paid him some money
and bought a dead body.
I got the dead body home and
burnt it with Shashank.
I told the villagers
that Shashank
and Rati died in the fire.
Sir had made arrangements for me to stay in Mumbai.
I read an article
about Mitra's deeds in the newspaper.
Brother's photo was printed in that article.
Brother..
Brother, I am alive!
I am coming to you.
He told me that Mitra would make him talk
to his dead sister, which was me.
I was shocked to know that, sir.
How could she make him talk to my soul
when I was very much alive?
That's when I decided to meet him and came
to Mumbai with him.
He had to anyway come to Mumbai for his treatment.
We came here and met Seema.
Luckily, Seema's house was near Mitra's house.
As soon as I got an opportunity
I went to meet my brother.
Sir..
When I saw Rati alive
I was shocked.
I remembered all the eight years.
After pushing her off a moving train
when I realised my mistake
I was filled with regret, sir.
A small mistake of mine gave me sleepless nights.
Sir, I wanted to atone for my sins.
I wanted to talk to my sister.
I wanted to win her back!
That's when I got to know about a woman
in Mumbai called Mitra who contacts the souls.
I was that woman's slave for seven to eight years
so that she could help me get in contact with
my dead sister.
So that I can ask her
for forgiveness!
No!
Sir, she made me talk
to my sister as well.
I believed that my sister is dead and that I am
talking to her soul.
But when I saw Rati
I realised that the the woman had fooled me.
That woman and her father were fooling me, sir.
Had they not fooled me, I.. I would have found her.
She wouldn't have had to suffer so much.
That's why, I killed her father..
And then Mitra!
I have killed them, sir.
You knew all this, right?
Everything that happened with you all was wrong
but what you did wasn't right as well.
Instead of taking the law into your own hands, you could have
come to us and we would have definitely helped you.
Had you gone to the police, you could have lived
the rest of your life with your sister.
But now, you will be sent to jail.
Please forgive me.
Please forgive me, Rati.
Please forgive me.
Please forgive your brother.
We live in a world where
there is another world
which is crowded and populated like ours.
This second world has a strong connection
with this world and our lives.
That second world is our mind which is full of
different kinds of thoughts.
It can be good or bad thoughts, doubts and greed.
And every other emotion related to our thoughts
resides in our mind and it keeps influencing
our life as well.
If your thoughts and emotions are positive
their results are positive too.
But if your thoughts are wrong or negative
then it's influence can affect your life and many a time
ruin your life as well.
Just the way it happened with Mitra, Ranjan
Prashant and the other characters of this story.
Their biggest mistake was that they believed
in the wrong thoughts which came to their mind
which in return ruined their lives.
The mystery of the murder was solved but Ranjan
couldn't face the crimes committed by him
and lost his mental stability.
His treatment is going on in a mental asylum.
A case has been filed against Rati at the court
and an NGO has offered her help.
We hope Rati gets justice
and we learn a lesson.
With this thought, I, Anup Soni, shall take your leave.
I will meet you in the next episode with
another such shocking case.
Till then, take care of yourself and your family
and keep watching 'Crime Patrol, Dial 100'.
Punishment for one and a lesson for all.
Jai Hind.
