CrowdFarmX - Transforming Farms, Transforming Lives - Duration: 2:32.

We are working hard everyday.

But don't know how's

the future.

Sometimes we can

grow good crops.

But don't know

where to sell.

And also the

middleman pushes down the price.

(In Karen) Sometimes if we manage to sell our produce

we can make some money.

But most of the time we cannot...

We cannot at all.

There's a lack of transparency

in our economy of food.

How do we know

our food is safe?

How much pesticides

has gone into them?

These are difficult to track.

It's bad...

But we got no choice.

That

can change.

It's about starting

from the bottom up.

A platform

that helps smallholder farmers

access

better know-how,

better farming technologies,

access in finance,

and connecting them

to the market.

Helping them to produce

safe food for the world.

(In Karen) What we know about farming

is passed from generations to generations

where we only grow rice.

We have to burn the field

to grow the crops.

We don't have the

knowledge.

We don't have the

technology.

With our IoT ecosystems,

it's about equipping

rural farms

with technology.

We have integrated

a robust supply chain

into CrowdFarmX.

Which connects smallholder farmers

to the global demand.

With CrowdFarmX

on a blockchain,

We can track and trace

your food

to where it came from.

Ensuring transparency

and food safety.

It's all about

empowering the farmers.

It's empowering the little,

giving joy to many.

It's not

just business.

It's relationships.

This

is CrowdFarmX.

Life Perspective | IMPORTANT STYLE TIPS FOR PLUS SIZE LADIES - Duration: 10:06.

IMPORTANT STYLE TIPS FOR PLUS SIZE LADIES

Style or fashion doesn't confine to slimmer models only, even the #PlusSizedLadies are

also of good fashion material, which needs some special attention and care to get the

best result.

It should be kept in mind that the size, likewise age, is just a number and nothing more, therefore,

an overweight lady can be looked stunning and attractive, if some steps are being taken

for preparing the just attire for them.

Some of the style tips for #PlusSizeWomen are as follows:

Dress according to Body Shape : This is the most important issue, to be considered at

the time of dressing.

Plus Size Fashion TipsThe dress should be prepared according to the body shape; rectangular,

hourglass, pear, etc. and the assets of the person has to be well thought-out to get the

best result.

Identifying what works : Although it is for the curvy figures, but it can be for everybody,

irrespective of sizes and ages, where one should try an outfit other than the latest

trend.

Sometimes classy attire can be of more useful for the person concerned.

Highlighting the Assets : It is important for everybody, whoever wants to get an attractive

look and desire to flaunt her asset; killer curves, voluptuous busts, toned legs or décolletage,

which are able to do some sorts of value addition.

Right Fittings : The #PlusSizeWomen shouldn't afraid of trying a well fitted or figure-hugging

attire because it may be helpful in emphasizing the cleavages more prominently.

In any case, the baggy fitting has to be avoided by any overweight lady, as it may ruin the

purpose.

Tailored Attire : There are some international norms of sizes of generic nature and it may

be difficult for a #PlusSizeWoman to get fit into these kinds of clothes.

Therefore, a dress, manufactured or adjusted by a skilled tailor can be the best option

for the person, but it may be a little bit of costly issue.

Exertion with color : The color of any dress is not only meant for the vibrancy and cheering

up, on the contrary, it has some unique ability to draw some kinds of attention towards specific

areas and emphasize the neckline, waist, lower back etc. and do the needful.

Choosing of Right Undergarments : This has the potential to make all needed differences

in showing off the dresses.

While the makeup on face needs a good and quality foundation, any dress needs to be

supported by right kinds of undergarment to get the best result that enhances the confidence

and comfort.

5 Survival Hacks THAT CAN SAVE YOUR LIFE! - Duration: 2:35.

hey guys today we're doing a survival hacks video hope these hacks help you

out and let's get into it number one is having a torch / pen of course it's

important to have a flashlight but also a pen too maybe if you want to write a

note to somebody for help (S.O.S) or something so having both you can just duct tape them

together I have a real one right here but you can duck tape a torch and a

pen together and it's a very useful tool maybe try it out it will be so useful one day

it's perfect it can also help out in the dark cuz of

the flashlight while camping it is an amazing tool and I bet you if you try it

out it'll be a very useful hack for all of you guys number two is using keys as

a weapon this is a great hack but please don't try it at home with somebody as

your family member or something this is only used for defense and it's a great

hack number three is using lipstick as a lotion for any dry spots some chemicals

put into lipstick is very similar to lotion that's why they both have this

effect that helps dry skin or anything so if it's the only thing you have why

not use it it's a great material number four is extra pack of candles or even

using crayons both of them can start a fire that's why they're very useful

lastly number five healing mosquito bites with glue

all you need is a glue stick and any itchy mosquito bite glue has chemicals

that is very releasable for any itchiness that you have and it actually

really works I tried it out and it's a super great hack this is great for

camping and sooner you'll know it'll be gone

Is a Spirit of Perfectionism Ruining Your Life? - Duration: 3:42.

Hi this is Phyllis Tarbox with Above & Beyond Christian Counseling and today I'd like to

ask you a question: is a spirit of perfection ruining your life. Are you a

person who treats their to-do list like it's a Bible do you blow up when you're

interrupted or your plans change suddenly our truth and order your

highest priorities excellence is essential perfectionism is not several

years back I had a client come in who is struggling with perfectionism to the

point of suicidal thoughts her to-do list was lengthy and she was over

scheduling her time she worked two jobs helped her mother

run the home watched her younger siblings and was attending college she

left no personal room to breathe and felt guilty at the end of every day when

she failed to complete her assignments she was tired overwhelmed and struggling

with spirits of death that wanted to kill her as a child she was left in

charge of her little sister her mother had health problems and she had to learn

at age 7 to be that other mother that was the entry point for a little girl

spirit of perfection that came in seeking the approval of her parents

through striving I find that when clients come in struggling with these

spirits of perfection during deliverance we'll see them manifest like a child

before they exit demons that gain access to your soul as a young age often take

on the personality of that age we believe these spirits enter as a

traumatized child disassociates seeks to hide or let someone else a demon take

the abuse hence the legal right for the demon is to stay and it's often not

addressed I've seen this scenario over and over in my office heavy

responsibilities leave a child overwhelmed they strive to survive

without any ability or direction they live in constant fear of failure and

punishment and perfectionism takes roots and produces failure and despair

I've written ten signs of perfection in an earlier article but I think it's time

for a little reminder of that so here they are the ten tell side ten telltale

signs of perfection your desire to be perfect results in anger and guilt when

you fall short of your goal - you set unrealistic standards for yourself

to feel accepted and worthwhile 3 you judge others by the same standards you

set for yourself or you get angry when people or situations interrupt your

timing and your goals 5 you're afraid your imperfections disappoint God and

those around you 6 you believe you're always right 7 your thinking is black

and white and there's no middle ground for compromise 8 you're strongly

opinionated and when others disagree with you or your opinion it angers you 9

you are incredibly organized self controlled until someone or something

interferes with your organization and causes anger that throws you into

confusion and 10 you are hurt by others who do not treat you with the same

perfection and the perfect concern but you set as a goal for dealing with them

if this sounds all too familiar it's likely that it's time you reached out

for help I see this as a growing concern among many of my clients and it's time

for that spirit of perfection to go just keep in mind we are only one phone call

away I pray this has helped you today god bless you and have a great week

you

Demi Lovato's Mother Felt Powerless to Curtail Her Daughter's Excessive Lifestyle: Source - Duration: 4:54.

Demi Lovato's recent apparent overdose shocked many, including those in her family who may have felt powerless to help her in the past

A source who was formerly in the singer's inner circle tells PEOPLE Lovato's mother, Dianna De La Garza, was "aware" of her struggles with substance abuse but did not feel she could address her daughter's issues — as the singer was the one paying the bills

"Her mother's a very sweet person who has zero — when I say zero, she has zero say," the insider says of De La Garza's experiences with her daughter's previous downward spiral

"I've worked with a lot of kids. All those mothers [in Hollywood], become not-mothers

They become slaves to their kids."  "Demi's mother was like a slave to her," the source continues

"Anything Demi wanted [she would get]. Even at 16, she's like, 'I'm paying the bills of this house, this house is my house

'"  The source adds De La Garza "loves her daughter and she really wants her daughter to get better

"  In February, the mother of three opened up to PEOPLE about her famous daughter's tortured past from her Disney days to her recent successes

De La Garza — a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader — revealed in her 2018 memoir Falling with Wings that Lovato began to spiral at the age of 16, disobeying curfew and even meddling in drugs and alcohol

"Every night, I'd set an alarm for 2:00 a.m. If she wasn't [home], I called her until she walked through the front door

What do you say to your child when she is the one paying most of the bills?" De La Garza wrote in her book

In November of 2010, Lovato was on tour with the Jonas Brothers and crossed a line when she punched a backup dancer in the face on an airplane

Her mother knew she needed help and rushed to her daughter.  After the altercation, De La Garza recalls her daughter said, "Maybe everyone would be better off if I wasn't here anymore

"  Concerned, Lovato's family rallied around her.  "The ultimate breaking point would have been when Demi was on tour, and she lashed out at one of her dancers, physically," De La Garza previously told PEOPLE

"That was the defining moment where we all said, as a family: She needs help. She needs serious help

And it doesn't matter what happens to her career — we need to focus on getting her the help she needs

"  Her most recent relapse led to an apparent overdose when police and first responders were called to her Hollywood Hills home on Tuesday morning

The singer's publicist released a statement Tuesday evening confirming Lovato "is awake and with her family who want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers and support

"  Another source told PEOPLE on Friday Lovato's family "is pushing for rehab," adding "they have looked into several options

"  Though reports have indicated the overdose was heroin-related, a source close to Lovato previously told PEOPLE that it was not

The "Stone Cold" singer has battled addiction, mental illness and an eating disorder for years

In 2010, she entered treatment, where she received professional assistance for bipolar disorder, bulimia, self-harm and addiction

She relapsed after she left the treatment center, then entered a sober living facility for a year

In March, Lovato revealed she celebrated six years of sobriety, but three months later, in June, she released a new song, "Sober" on which she revealed that she had relapsed

5 Hidden Toxins that you MUST Remove From Your Life to Lose Weight and Have Abundant Energy! - Duration: 25:12.

Hello again, I apologize the last livestream that I did I had some

technical issues for some reason I just got booted off it's kind of in the air

today. I've had some technical issues all day today so I apologize for that.

So I'm starting this new video and hope everything goes well and hopefully I can

get this information to you without something crashing again. Okay,

so if this is your first time joining me my name is Kendra Perry. I'm a functional

diagnostic nutritionist and my specialty is gut house hormones toxins and detox

and especially I love talking about toxins and detox, because this is

incredibly important it's something that every single one of us really needs to

be thinking about okay. And a lot of times when our health is crappy, when we

have poor energy, when we have you know, we're gaining weight we can't lose it no

matter what, we're hyper focused on our diet,

we're hyper focused on our exercise routine, but few of us are actually

focusing on the toxins, and you might be wondering well what the heck do toxins

have to do with my energy, what do they have to do with weight gain? And I mean

the truth is they have so much to do with it so a lot of toxins especially

different chemicals that are in our environment and metals they actually

interfere with the function of your mitochondria. So maybe you can remember

from high school biology but the mitochondria is actually that little

powerhouse in your cell and one of its primary jobs is producing ATP and that

is your body's main energy molecule. So every time you need energy your body has

to make ATP but if you have a bunch of toxins that are interfering with your

mitochondria is ability to make that ATP you're gonna be

really fatigued, you're gonna be really f**king tired. You're gonna feel like

you're super glued to the floor, you're gonna wake up exhausted even when you

had a great sleep, you're gonna sort of drag your ass throughout the day, you're

probably gonna have to drink lots of coffee to get that sort of artificial

energy, you might crash throughout the day, like you're just really really gonna

struggle with your energy and no amount of good diet no amount of exercise is

actually going to fix that. So we really need to be thinking about this because

unfortunately, well it's kind of messed up right, like

we have so many chemicals and toxins in our environment and we are always

getting exposed and if you tuned in to my live videos you probably think I'm a

broken record because I'm always saying this but it's really really true. We're

constantly getting exposed, so we really need to work our hardest to remove a lot

of these things from our environment as much as possible of course it's not a

hundred percent possible regardless like we're gonna get exposed to some degree

right but there's a lot we can do. So I'm going to tell you about five hidden ones

that not everyone thinks about that can really wreak havoc on your energy levels

but also weight loss. Okay and this is really really important. Typically toxins

get stored in fat cells. Okay, so if your body is getting a really constant influx

of chemicals of toxins, it has to go somewhere so if they're coming in too

quickly like maybe faster than your detox pathways can deal with or maybe

you don't have the good mineral level so you don't have the hormone balance or

something's going on where you don't detoxify very well which is very common

for a lot of us, your body has to put these somewhere if your body can't deal

with them they need to go somewhere and thankfully fat cells are as nice sticky

membrane that you can stick a toxin into and it's not gonna have a really nasty

effect on the rest of the body okay. So this is obviously problematic for weight

loss because if your body is totally toxic, so your fat cells are filled with

toxins, your body might be like uh-uh like you ain't losing weight because I

can't deal with all these toxins right like if you were to immobilize that fat

or burn that fat you're gonna immobilize all these toxins and then they're gonna

enter the bloodstream and your detox pathways need to be ready to deal with

that. So a lot of what's going on with us and this is really important to think

about is actually our body protecting us. So, I think when we're unhealthy or we

don't feel well, we have poor energy, we can't lose weight, or we have brain fog,

and insomnia, like whatever it is we can feel really frustrated and sometimes we

can even feel angry at our bodies. But I think what we need to realize is our

body is doing the best that it can with the tools that

it has. And a lot of them really like nasty symptoms that we're experiencing

are actually our body protecting us in some way and that's really true for the

fat cells being filled with toxins and not being able to lose weight it's your

body being like "I don't want you to die like, I don't want to do immobilize these

toxins and go completely ototoxic so you're not gonna lose weight" and so

you're frustrated at your body because it can't lose weight but really your

body is just like "hey like stop putting this crap in my body and maybe I'll let

you lose weight" okay. So, we're gonna talk today about some of the toxins that lead

to that you know mitochondrial inhibition which prevent the

mitochondria from making energy and we're gonna talk about some of those

toxins that are classified as obesogens which are have actually been

scientifically proven to make you gain weight. So you know I've heard some

people say it's the chemicals not the calories it's these obesogens that

are actually making us gain weight. So we're gonna talk about a few of those

today some of them may surprise you some of them you may have heard me talk about

before but if you're on with me live feel free to say hi and let me know if

you have any questions as we go along and more than happy to answer them.

Okay, so the first one the first toxin I really want to talk about cuz this is

actually a really common ingredient that a lot of us cook with but it's actually

baking soda and you might be wondering well we know what the heck how is baking

soda a toxin? So it's not necessarily the baking soda but it's what is added to

baking soda. So if you're making soda if you're me to buy baking soda because you

love to bake and I do you really need to look at the ingredients and you really

need to check to see what's in it okay. The reason for this is because a lot of

baking soda has an anti-caking agent just so it doesn't get all stuck

together and that is generally aluminium. Okay aluminium, what's aluminium? It's a

super toxic metal it's one of the primary metals that causes fatigue. A lot

of people don't know that that it actually, so there's certain enzymes in

the mitochondria that your body uses to make energy and it needs these enzymes

and might be minerals these might be

vitamins these might be various other proteins it actually poisons those

enzymes. Aluminium is super associated with fatigue and it's definitely one of

those obesogens that can lead you to gain weight and commonly, I mean it's in

a lot of different things, but a really common source of it is baking soda. So if

you're just going to the grocery store and buying random baking soda there's a

good chance that it's full of aluminium and the baking soda, how the baking soda

and the aluminium react is the baking soda that alkaline environment actually

makes the aluminium significantly more potent and way more absorbable by your

body, okay. So that's number one, is baking soda, you may not have heard about

that before, you may totally know what I'm talking about but my recommendation

is when you're buying baking soda to cook with, make sure to buy a good source,

buy organic, and make sure there's zero fillers. There shouldn't be anything,

because it won't say directly on the label that it's aluminium. It may call it

something totally different that actually has an aluminium base or is

derived from aluminium or has aluminium in it but it has some totally other random

name that you look at you're like "oh that's fine there's no aluminium on that"

but there's a good chance if there's any additive if there's anything but baking

soda, in your baking soda, then there's a good chance that there's aluminium in it.

Okay. So the next one I want to talk about is nail polish, okay, and I think

this is really interesting because I think most women are painting their

nails. And I actually want to talk about a study that I just read about. So,

what is in typical nail polish is triphenyl phosphate, okay.

And so this is a really powerful toxin, this is an obesogen, this is an

endocrine disruptor, when I say endocrine disruptor I mean it f**ks with your

endocrine system, okay. And what is your endocrine system,

it's your hormone system. And a big way that these chemicals actually interfere

is for some reason a lot of the chemicals that we make mimic human

estrogen, okay. Estrogen, potent growth hormone, great

when you have it in certain amounts, but when it's out of balance, it causes so

much stuff, like it can give you different

of cancer, it can cause endometriosis, it can cause PCOS, it can cause fibroids, it

can cause cysts, it can cause infertility, PMS, emotional meltdowns. They can

cause so many things, they can cause acne. And a lot of the chemicals we are

getting exposed to, contain these synthetic estrogens. And so, there was a

study done recently where researchers went and bought nail polish from a

common department store, and they assigned, they had a control group so a

group that wasn't getting nail polish and a group that was using nail polish.

And before they gave the woman these nail polish they did a urine sample

to establish like a base a baseline for the triphenyl phosphate so they had a

baseline of the triphenyl phosphate which is that chemical that is in nail

polish and then the next day each woman just painted her nails and after 10 to

14 hours after of painting their nails they redid that urine test and what they

found was that the triphenyl phosphate levels were seven times what they were

ten to 14 hours earlier before they put the nail polish on okay. So how is that

nail polish getting into our body? Well it might be absorbing through our skin

right because we don't always paint our nails perfectly right sometimes we miss

it gets on our skin but in a lot of way that it's actually getting into our

bodies is because we're inhaling it because it vaporizes. Most nail polish

smells like crap right it smells super chemical. And this is really common, I

mean most woman I see have painted nails and I'd say there's probably a pretty

good chance they're not buying that you know organic or non-toxic nail polish.

And so I have some some of the top top brands that were found to be really high

in the triphenyl phosphate are Sally Hansen, Revlon, OPI, wet-and-wild, which is

one that I used to use when I was a kid Maybelline and spa ritual so maybe you

use those brands on your body let me know if you do if you do I really

recommend that you switch to a known toxic brand okay. You might be wondering

about well you know what is non-toxic, which products are safe? A really good

resource is the Environmental Working Group so ewg.org they have a crazy

database they pretty much have a database for pretty much all products

and you can search for your product in the search box and it'll come up with

that product and it'll tell you about all the ingredients and what they are

associated with and then it will give it an overall rating of whether it's safe

and for a lot of products they actually have a top 10 list. Top 10 of their

safest best products. So nail polish is a big one and I think a lot of women are

using it and a lot of women are just buying whatever they get from the store

but this is actually a massive massive endocrine disruptor, it's a flame

retardant. So very toxic some of it has formaldehyde in it and that triphenyl

phosphate is huge, studies have shown it affects hormones, metabolism,

reproduction development, it's massive and it's just as simple as switching out

your nail polish brand okay. This is a big one okay. So that's number two, so

number one, if you're just joining now was baking soda because it tends to have

a non caking agent in it, which is usually made from aluminum. Number two,

nail polish. Number three is polyethylene. This is another one of

those obesogens, so one of those chemicals that has been scientifically

proven to cause insulin issues, can cause metabolic issues and ultimately

weight gain. Polyethylene is in a lot of things but a really common thing that

polyethylene is in is to-go cups! So those little Dixie cups, so when you go

get a coffee or tea to go, there you know typically they're paper but what they're

lined with is this plastic coating that's what prevents the liquid from

soaking through the cardboard and that is lined with polyethylene and

polyethylene is also an endocrine disrupter. So this is the same as the

triphenyl phosphate the same as the nail-polish it mimics human estrogen.

Estrogen issues are so massive, most of the woman I work with have estrogen

issues that either have too much estrogen or they have way more estrogen

than progesterone and I mentioned earlier some of those side effects of

too much estrogen are really nasty. It will totally prevent you from gaining

weight, it'll cause ovarian cysts, endometriosis, fibroids, it

can it's typically causing all those km symptoms so any of those symptoms that

you get in the week leading up to your period or for the time during your

period so craps, mood swings, low immune system, sugar cravings, retention, sore

breasts, all those things, are very much estrogen driven and we are a very

estrogen dominant society because so many of these chemicals have these

endocrine disruptors in them and when you're putting hot liquid in a to-go cup

that is lined with plastic you are literally drinking plastic and you're

drinking synthetic estrogen, so when you get a coffee to go you need to bring

your own mug and it shouldn't be a plastic mug because that's probably

gonna have other crap in it as well. I would say really high-quality stainless

steel or glass, those are your two best options for to

go coffee mugs and then on top of that I mean it's really good for the

environment too right there's just been so much press lately on all the crap

that's in the ocean I mean these single-use plastics, these single-use

cardboards, or whatever it is even if we can recycle them this is still putting

crap into our environment right, so, if we can be more on top of it

you can be a little bit more organized and come prepared with your to-go cup

and stainless steel of glass then we can go a long way to actually not only help

our hormones that help the environment as well. So that's number three. So number

one was baking soda because of the aluminum content, number two is nail

polish which contains endocrine disruptors and number three is

polyethylene which you typically find in to-go cups but you also find it in other

things as well. Okay, next I want to talk about

something that maybe isn't like a toxin but it is toxic okay and this one I

think is a really big thing so being busy okay so I know this isn't like you

know a toxin but this is toxic okay and I was just doing a live interview

earlier with a colleague of mine and we were just talking about the gut-brain

connection okay. So stress has a massive effect on our digestive system it also

has a massive effect on our minerals. Anytime we're stressed sodium goes up

and as sodium goes up it actually depletes our calcium and magnesium

significantly okay. And you know I think it sounds kind of hokey and people are

like "oh you know like that's kind of woo woo" or whatever but you know I can prove

that gut-brain connection to you because think of how you felt when you had to

give a speech or talk in front of a big audience right or maybe you were running

a race or something like that right like we feel it in our gut. Like I know when I

was young and I had to do speeches for school,

I remember like doing a speech and then basically having diarrhea because it

would affect my guts so much. And a lot of us we feel that immediately like when

we see you know maybe we run into an ex-boyfriend or girlfriend or we

see someone who may be bullied us or you know we have like an

uncomfortable conversation or we go through confrontation, a lot of times we

feel it directly in our gut. And being busy has become a massive toxic burden

in our society because it's completely glorified right like I find like

sometimes I ask people like how are you and they're just like "busy. Oh I'm so

busy" you know and it's kind of like I'm kind of sick of hearing that because

it's like okay well how are you, how do you feel today, how's your heart, like

how's your brain, like how's your family, how you know how's your life right? And a

lot of people are just busy and they over schedule their lives and they're

even addicted to feeling busy because I think with some people when they slow

down they have to actually deal with their thoughts and their problems so I

think a lot of us like we over schedule our lives and we are very obsessed with

being busy but this is a massive toxic burden. Okay, if we are constantly in

fight-or-flight if we're constantly in sympathetic dominance we are burning our

magnesium at an excessive rate and magnesium is one of your primary

minerals it's responsible for over 300 different reactions in the body without

magnesium it's really impossible to have energy. We talked in the beginning of

this about the mitochondria producing ATP for energy, anytime you make ATP you

need magnesium, so if you don't have ATP you're not gonna have energy, and I think

stress and over-scheduling their lives and being busy is huge right? And I mean

we're all guilty of it I'm - yeah - like sometimes I remember like

in the spring we were having this really beautiful weather it wasn't too hot it

wasn't too cold, I was feeling really great so I was planning like climbing

adventures and biking and I was climbing biking, hiking, walking, like going up for

dinner with friends and I literally didn't take a moment for myself for like

three weeks and then I crashed and burned. And it was just a really good

reminder that like "hey" like as fun as it is to be busy and to do all these things

and to you know be involved in things like it has a really it's really really

hard on your body. And when your body is in that chronic fight-or-flight it does

suppress that rest and digest function right? It takes all our energy out of the

gut, out of detoxification and it puts it into the muscle or the skeletal system

and basically it's preparing us to fight for our lives or run for a lives but in

reality like our life is not in jeopardy like we're just stressed out because

we've you know we have a million functions to go to or our kids are in a

million activities and you know we're also trying to do our masters and you

know work a regular job and then take care of kids and then you know pursue

our hobbies right? Like I think, it's there's a lot to be said for just

slowing down and chillin the f**k out okay so that's number four being busy. I

actually consider that a pretty major toxin. Okay, number five so this is the

final one and if you guys have questions I see there's a bunch of you with me

live so I'm really excited you guys are here with me feel free to say hi or if

you have questions just shoot me a comment.

The other one is hydrogenated oils or polyunsaturated oils okay, and I have

actually talked about this in a while but I just want to kind of remind the

new people that we really need to be careful about our fat consumption and so

a lot of the information that we've been getting for probably the past thirty

years is that saturated fat is bad and we should be prioritizing the

polyunsaturated fat. So the polyunsaturated oils are gonna be things

like safflower oil, sunflower oil, soybean oil, vegetable oil, canola oil, those are

kind of like the six main ones. And that saturated fat things like butter, coconut

oil, avocado oil, animal fat, are all really bad but that's actually not true.

Our brain is primary saturated fat. Saturated fat is actually

a very very stable fat, it's solid it stays stable at room temperature and

higher heats that those are the ones that we should be heating we shouldn't

be heating polyunsaturated fats, we shouldn't be heating canola oil

safflower or a sunflower oil but those saturated fats are very stable, and we

want a lot of the fat content of our body to be made up of those saturated

fats. Because the issue with a polyunsaturated fats is that they are

very very reactive and they're very very highly unstable. So like, I'll use canola

oil as an example. So basically with the polyunsaturated oils like they don't

tend to be made from really fatty sort of plants, so really really massive

industrial presses are needed to make these okay, and so typically

that's going to generate quite a bit of heat. and with the polyunsaturated fats

basically what you have is you have hydrogen linked to hydrogen and

typically so with saturated fat you have a bunch of hydrogen molecules and it's

completely, sorry a bunch of carbon molecules completely saturated

with hydrogen molecules and that's why it's saturated and that's what makes it

stable and protective but when you have polyunsaturated fats a lot of those

hydrogen molecules are actually replaced with double or triple bonds between the

carbon molecules, and those double and triple bonds are actually really really

reactive and sensitive to heat and light. So that really crazy industrial

press that you need to do with things like grapeseed oil or canola or

safflower, sunflower, does generate heat and that will wreck the oil and make

them toxic and cause them to break down. And so a lot of these oils they're

actually completely rancid when they sit on the shelf but they've been deodorized

so that they don't stink and you can actually do a bit of an experiment at

home so you know take some butter put it on your counter and leave it at room

temperature and then stick some canola oil on your counter too and wait about

two weeks to see what happens. The butter will so stay stable it won't smell it'll

be basically the same it'll just be kind of melty but the canola oil will start

to stink because that's what happens with oil oxidizes and breaks down okay.

So a lot of that stuff it's already toxic

and it's oxidized and it's rancid sitting on the grocery store shelf but

the manufacturers have deodorize it so

it's hiding that nasty smell. And you might be thinking well you know I buy

cold press. And that's great so that's gonna cut down on that heat that's

generated during the industrial pressing, but the other thing about these oils is

they're very sensitive to light, okay. So there's the industrial process but then

in the grocery store they tend to be really well lit and a lot of them are in

clear plastic bottles or even clear glass bottles even that light can break

down and make a lot of these these oils rancid. On top of that like you don't

know what happens in the shipping process and the handling process so even

if there is no heat produced in the the press, there might you know, it might, for

example right now it's super super hot where I live like it could literally go

to a a warehouse and sit there in an air-conditioned warehouse and just kind

of fester and heat. And then if that doesn't make it go rancid what happens

when it goes inside your body. Your body's pretty hot okay. So your body runs

at about 99 degrees Fahrenheit, which is about almost 40 degrees Celsius, so

that's pretty hot right. So you can only think about what happens to those oils

when it goes into your hot hot body right. So a lot of them, even if they

are cold-pressed, they are going to get quite rancid when they actually go into

our body. And another thing I like to think about with the oils is think about

like the types of fats that our ancestors would have had access to

grapeseed oil, canola oil there's just no f**king way you would be

able to get oil from those without a massive industrial press okay. So when

you think about coconut, when you think about butter, when you think of an animal

fat, avocado, like these are fatty things and me just pushing those things

together or cooking those things like the fat comes out right, and so those are

the fats that we want to we want to focus on, because if you're eating some

of these unsaturated fats like safflower oil, sunflower oil, canola, soybean,

vegetable oil, grapeseed oil, we're really just drinking toxic oils okay and it's

not only going to throw off our fat balance our Omega 6

omega-3 balance in the body but these can actually damage cells and they can

actually get into our arteries and break down and damage arteries. So, a little bit

is okay like if you're just having some every now and then but when it comes to

on a regular basis and when it comes to cooking focus on ghee, focus on butter,

focus on coconut oil, animal fat, like lard and tallow you don't tend to find

those in a grocery store but you can make them yourself it's actually pretty

easy. Avocado oil and olive oil are very good

as well I probably wouldn't cook high heats with olive oil but it's great for

salad. So that's really where you want to focus so those are my five, you know kind

of hidden kind of unknown toxins. Let me know what you think, let me know if

you've taken steps to remove those from your life, to remove those from your

environment, definitely let me know I'd love to hear about it. And if you have
