though you can probably get him now what if Sofia's gonna name on whatever she
wants yeah you could get under his chin enough I don't know if it's gonna get
under his chin enough to slip to the side a little bit since PI didn't go get

Trump Kicks Off The Weekend With A Pair Of Game-Changing Announcements - Duration: 2:27.
Trump Kicks Off The Weekend With A Pair Of Game-Changing Announcements
It has been a great week for America!
Moreover, with job numbers on the rise and unemployment down, America's economic engine
is all revved up!
Just in time, for the Fourth of July!
Additionally, this week, Pres Trump received a second opportunity to make a SCOUTS (Supreme
Court) nomination that will keep America on auto-pilot through the next generation.
The only thing that needs tweaking are the rising gas prices.
Furthermore, POTUS just let us know – he has it handled!
POTUS tweets earlier this morning, "Just spoke to King Salman of Saudi Arabia and explained
to him that, because of the turmoil & dysfunction in Iran and Venezuela, I am asking that Saudi
Arabia increase oil production.
Maybe up to 2,000,000 barrels, to make up the difference…Prices too high!
He has agreed!"
Pres Trump took care of our increasing gasoline prices.
And simultaneously, he let the United Nations Human Right's Council know that America
will NOT stand for human right's abuses!
In addition, DJT strengthened the Saudi Oil connection with the United States.
It is a win-win solution
Also, in his next tweet, POTUS informs American's, "I will be making my choice for Justice
of the United States Supreme Court on the first Monday after the July 4th Holiday, July
9th!"
The nomination to replace retiring Justice Kennedy comes at an extraordinary time in
American history.
Although, two Justices have been selected in past Presidency's, President Trump has
the opportunity to make several more if he wins the 2020 Presidential campaign.
Moreover, appointing conservative Justice's to the Supreme Court of The United States
of America (SCOTUS) can affect America, the protection of the Constitution and her liberties
for more than two generations!
In closing, will you be celebrating the Fourth of July this year, with more joy and patriotism
for America?
what do you think about this?

The Deadly Game | SkiT Skits - Duration: 4:32.
Tim: Come on right over here, son.
SkiT: Dude, where are we going?
SkiT: What is this?
Tim: Just sit down at this table here. I got something for you.
Okay, but like why are you talking like that
like last time you spoke in that southern accent or whatever it was like for prom last year.
You were trying to get that girl, remember?
I remember.
Ok (chuckle)
So what are you gonna show me?
Son,
would you like to play some Russian Roulette?
You serious?
I'm very serious.
First you need a revolver for that. You don't have a revolver!
DUDE, YOU WE'RE SERIOUS?!
Tim: I'm very serious, son.
Why would you have a revolver on you?
Because I'm trying to play Russian roulette the fuck?
Dude, I am NOT playing Russian Roulette!
Why the fuck not?
Because, dude, one of us is gonna get killed!
Listen, son.
What?
I'll give you one good reason why you should play Russian Roulette.
What? Why?
'Cause if you don't,
I'm gonna go around telling everyone in this town about that time you seduced a pizza man!
OH YEAH?
Well, I'll tell people about how you fucked the milkman!
You're making that up.
Ugh! You're right!
Alright. Let's begin.
So you made sure there's only one bullet, right?
Of course I did.
And you don't know where it is?
Not at all.
Okay.
Your turn!
Well, if I'm gonna have to go out, I'm gonna have to do with some creativity.
Dumbass, you forgot the cock it!
(Ugh)
I gotta go again, don't I?
Yup.
Third bullet [chamber].
Your turn.
Fourth bullet. [Now it's] yours.
So are there 8 or 6 in this?
Eight.
Alright.
Wait. I can't- I gotta cock it.
Creativity.
Five.
Six.
(sigh)
Want to be fancy, huh? Okay.
Okay, whatever.
7th,
50/50
Has to be at the head doesn't it?
OH!
You're dead, man!
I thought that was last one!
There was eight of them, right?
Yeah!
Wait!
You were trying to shoot me?!
HE HE HE!
(Tim's maniacal laughter)
(Please send help, SkiT has lost it!)
(The video isn't over just yet!)
That was a good one feller!
How you been?
How you been? Tim: I've came back to kill ya!
Oh!
If you made it this far, comment "send me a meme!"

Top 15 games like Skyrim - Duration: 11:42.
Greetings from Eastern Europe, my name is ColdBeerHD and today I made you a list of
games like Skyrim.
Top 15 this time.
Also this video has subtitles, so you can turn them on if you want.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance
This is basically a Skyrim, just without any fantasy stuff.
No dragons, no elves and no giants here for you.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance features a very realistic combat system that requires patience
and carefully calculated attacks instead of the flailing around like Elder Scrolls veterans
are used to.
Game is based in real-life events, taking place in Bohemia in 1403, and its main and
side quests are centered around events during that time period.
If you're wondering what that mysterious Bohemia is, it's a part of nowadays Czechia.
There, free geography lesson.
It's a wonderful game, though it still has a lot of bugs and glitches, and sometimes
bad optimisation takes place and your framerate in certain places drops drastically.
So as for now, buy this game when it's on a sale.
Middle Earth: Shadow of War
Here you are not some puny Hobbit, but ultimate war machine.
Like Steven Seagal when he was young.
When he was young I said.
You can use direct melee combat, ranged attacks, stealth based moves and even turn enemies
against each other.
And you can collect orcs and send them to battles.
Yes, just don't get too attached to any of them, they tend to die a lot, even if their
opponents are weaker.
Gothic 3
An amazing game with poor graphics.
Because it's old.
Though you can install bunch of mods and it will shine again.
It's like, when you are getting old and wrinkles start to appear around your eyes,
then you go to a plastic surgeon and he just replaces your face with another face.
You look at the mirror and you can barely recognize yourself, but you look beautiful,
so you never ask a surgeon where he got this beautiful new face of yours.
The same is with Gothic 3, you just install mods, change the graphics completely and play
it without any regret.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
Game has a bit cartoonish graphics and that probably was the biggest mistake made by the
creators who went bankrupt after this game was released.
Because gamers at least at that time wanted realism, like we have in Skyrim or Witcher.
So game wasn't a success, but it is no doubt, one of the best RPG games ever made.
All decisions you make here – matters and will have consequences later.
Game has really interesting story, great dialogues and voice acting is also really good.
Grab it when you can and you will enjoy 80 hours of gameplay, possibly even more.
Red Dead Redemption
There is a saying "Better Dead than Red", so it may sound that this is a game about
dead communists, but it's obviously not.
Red Dead Redemption is a Western-themed action-adventure game played from a third-person perspective.
The player controls John Marston and completes missions to progress through the story.
Outside of missions, players may freely roam the open world.
Well... as long as they don't try to swim.
Sadly you can't play it on PC, this game is consoles only experience.
Also keep an eye on Red Dead Redemption 2 which will be released this year on October
26.
Game also will be destined only for consoles and some online game content will be PlayStation
4 exclusive for a limited time.
But it will definitely be a great game.
Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt
Game is based on amazing novels written by polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski.
I was a huge fan of him way before Witcher games were created, so when Mr. Sapkowski
came to visit Lithuania in a year 2005, I went to the book fair with hopes of gaining
his autograph on my books.
I even have a photo with him.
There.
This is Sapkowski holding my book of Witcher and this orange blob is me.
My wife wasn't a best photographer as you can see.
Glad I divorced her.
Comrade, did you divorced her because of plumber Roman?
Did he leaked his pipes into your wife?
Oh, shut up!
So, here you will play as a contract monster killer and of course kill a lot of monsters.
I have to mention that game is for adults: there is a lot of gore, nudity and some stories
are really disturbing.
Though everything is diluted with wonderful humor.
Even if it doesn't have first person view and you can't create character you want,
like you did in Skyrim, this game is possibly the best choice for you anyway.
Or maybe it's just my fanboyism talking.
Dragon Age Inquisition
This game is basically fantasy Mass Effect.
It's created by the same studio and uses a lot of it's mechanics.
Here you have a team of heroes, and you can control all of them.
Game is plot-driven, has deep and interesting story, great characters and it will provide
many hours of fun.
Is it worth trying?
If you're fan of Mass Effect and Skyrim, this game is definitely for you.
If not… maybe.
I don't know.
But I played it and I had a lot of fun.
It's not a first game in the series, like Skyrim is not the first game of the Elder
Scrolls, but like a Skyrim, here you can play without worrying about parts of the past,
plot is self explanatory, everything is fine in that field.
Also I just have to mention another, a bit older game: Dragon Age Origins [išvažiuoja
info] – for some players that game was way better than Inquisition and they were truly
disappointed with a new release.
In example they say that Inquisition is more action and less RPG game, so it's automatically
worse.
I don't know about that.
I think we all have different taste and that's OK.
Risen 3: Titan Lords
Goblins and gnomes are fighting for supremacy on the isle of thieves.
And you have to rise against the Titans and regain your soul.
I don't know why do you even need a soul.
Probably for making money.
By selling it to the devil of course.
So, because you are poor and your soul is also stolen, you can't buy beer or make
potato salad, so you became angry and start kill everyone who stands in your way.
Anyway, Risen 3 is a great game and you can grab newest edition of it, which is Enhanced
Edition, and enjoy beautiful graphics, kill weird monsters and collect amazing loot.
Fable Anniversary
In other words it's Fable Remastered.
It's a bit outdated, because even after a remaster it has some cringy stuff left.
Here you will evolve a hero or villain through the actions you choose and the path you follow.
Through deeds and actions you will build a name for yourself across the land, recruit
allies and followers and gain glory or notoriety.
One thing I couldn't realise is if this game is suitable for a simple man who never
played Fable or even never heard of it.
Because almost all comments on Steam and in other places are left by fans, who either
liked remastered version or didn't based by the experiences they had playing other
Fable games.
And other comments are about crashes and bugs.
So, try it on your own risk.
Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
It has massive, memorable open world, and when it first showed up, many were thinking
about Skyrim, just in a Zelda universe.
You can go anywhere your eyes can see, fight tons of monsters, evil spirits and even few
dragons.
However, game is oriented to younger players, but it is fun to play no matter the age, especially
if you do it on Nintendo Switch.
It feels better this way.
Might & Magic series
Ok, do not judge.
It may seem crazy for me to recommend such an old school games and say that they are
like Skyrim, but it is not.
Let me elaborate.
One of the best features in Skyrim is treasure hunting.
When you go to some badass dungeon, with no knowledge about it's innards and then encounter
some crazy boss, kill him and loot the shit out of it's cold dead body.
That's the thing.
In Might & Magic you have the same feeling.
Which part to play?
I don't know, they are all like vodka.
There are a lot of different vodkas in the world, so you have to try them all if you
want to pick your best vodka.
You can't just trust your neighbor Dragomir from Serbia, who says that Croatian vodka
tastes like piss and the best vodkas are made in Serbia, because your other neighbor, Nikola
from Croatia, says that Croatian vodka is best vodka and Serbian vodka is made for little
girls.
Also you can't trust your other neighbor from above, Dzintars, who says that best vodka
is made in Latvia, because Dzintars also says that Latvia is best country in the world.
And forme, lithuanian that is very questionable statement.
So you have to drink all that vodka by yourself and only then make a decision.
It's the same with Might and Magic.
Try 6th, 7th and 8th part if you would like to feel open world of real oldschool power
or play Might and Magic 10 if you like shiny graphics, but only semi open world and old
school feeling.
It's up to you.
And one more thing: keep away from Might and Magic 9.
Dragon's Dogma
Dragon's Dogma is a massive, challenging action-RPG that drops players into a vast
open world full of different monsters and demons.
You play as a hero who has their heart stolen by a dragon and you spend your time by trying
to take it back.
Yeah…
It sounds so random.
When I'll make my own game I will use the same technique.
Goblins
Steal
Vodka
Perfect scenario!
Dragon's Dogma shares it's open nature with Skyrim, but has more strategy and more
dynamic fights.
It's a tougher game in general.
But if you like to explore open world and love fantasy games, it may be a game for you.
Fallout New Vegas
This time it's not a fantasy title, but I couldn't just leave it aside.
Fallout: New Vegas, sandwiched in-between Fallout 3 and 4, kind of gets overshadowed
a bit by its younger and older brother.
It is just as much the open-world RPG as those two games are, and Skyrim, as well.
Many people think that New Vegas is a simple DLC of Fallout 3, but it's a completely
different and stand alone game with, I dare to say, better story than Fallout 3 and 4.
If you never tried this one, you have yourself a treat.
Divinity 2 Game is a bit different from Bethesda's
RPG, but that doesn't mean it has nothing to offer to fans of the Dragonborn.
All of the standout elements of Skyrim are present and accounted for: exploration, discovery,
engaging combat, progression choices, and yes, dragons.
Best thing here is, that you can turn into one and fly.
Divinity 2 also has a bit different loot system, somewhat similar to World of Warcraft or DIablo
3.
It's a great game if you're looking something similar to Skyrim, but not exactly the same.
That's it, thank you for watching, please consider subscribing for more epic and funny
lists, or you might even become my patron on Patreon, so I could buy myself more vodka
and more potato salad.

The WORST PS4 Games Ever Made! (Bad Playstation 4 Games) - INNOCENT Until Proven Guilty! - Duration: 33:20.
The Playstation 4 is a modern machine of beauty with an equally matching library of top quality
titles, but these grade A works of art are unfortunately offset by some serious stinkers.
Are these alleged atrocities as bad as the critics claim?
Let's find out as Innocent Until Proven Guilty takes some of the supposedly worst
PS4 games ever made to trial!
This may seem like an odd note to commence the proceedings on, but the review scores don't lie.
Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: Mega Battle was created by Bandai-Namco & digitally distributed
to the major console marketplaces on January 17th, 2017.
Designed with the purpose of celebrating the roots of the ever-popular TV show, Mega Battle
focuses solely on Jason, Kimberly & the rest of the core Ranger group as they first come
into contact with Zordon, Rita Repulsa & the other heroes & villains.
This alternative re-telling of the familiar origin story utilizes the traditional beat
'em up format, but raises it to a whole new level by taking advantage of the online
co-op abilities, meaning that the entire roster can engage in simultaneous bare knuckle-brawling...but
I was unfortunately unable to capture the full glory of this innovation since I don't have PS Plus.
Nevertheless, I was still eager to jump into the action by myself & experience some sweet
nostalgia-induced fisticuffs fun, and now that I've done just that, the million dollar
question is "did Mega Battle live up to my expectations?"
I hate to sound like a broken record from my trial of Sonic Spinball, but the answer
again is "yes & no."
The festivities begin on a positive note with a rendition of the timeless O.G. theme song,
accompanied by a montage of 2D drawings that serve as a loving tribute to the show's iconic intro.
The art style reflects an anime influence that is consistent from the cutscenes to the
actual gameplay, and the saturated color palette & chibi character models enhance the Saturday
morning cartoon vibe the illustrators were clearly going for, but the lack of lip syncs
& voice samples detract slightly from the overall presentation.
Visual & audio nitpicks aside, the gameplay itself is simple & straightforward in the
vein of the genre predecessors and the precedent of starting as the teenagers in their natural
state is retained.
Whether kicking it with Kim or preferring the Zack attack, the Square button engages
in close quarters combat, while X jumps, L1 blocks, R1 slams enemies to the ground, & the
Right stick rolls.
The Ranger metamorphosis is triggered by pressing R2 upon filling the blue bar with the necessary
energy orbs & this adds a few more tools to the bag of tricks, which are tapped into via
Triangle & Circle, respectively.
Each Ranger is equipped with their signature weapons & a standard blaster, which are fueled
by the various meters in the upper left hand corner of the screen, & the teens can be further
souped up by accessing the Alpha 5 stations strategically strewn around the stages of
Mega Battle's six chapters.
These extra maneuvers & combos will ensure that the benefiting bruiser is able to barrel
by any & all obstructions that get in their way, but there's a catch...Bandai forces
the player to stick with one of Zordon's elite squad throughout the adventure.
Yes, Mega Battle strongly deviates from the tried & true formula of the past by disabling
the option to switch out upon using a continue.
This might sound like a small gripe since the plot remains the same regardless of who's
chosen, but it's especially annoying for those who wish to take in the entire experience
within one sitting as we have to build up the fresh recruits as they step into the spotlight,
which will inevitably require a lot of backtracking.
To put it another way, anyone who's ever wanted more RPG elements in a beat 'em up
should definitely check out this PS4 Power Rangers tie-in as you're going to have to
grind in the initial stages or else get your ass bashed in as demonstrated exceptionally
by Tommy in this footage.
Needless to say, this grind can become rather tedious, but the cameos by Goldar & Lord Zedd
as chapter bosses help to relieve the burden.
These encounters with the faithfully translated rogue's gallery take place in three forms,
with the first pitting the individual rangers against the fiends in a one on one free for
all, and the latter two summoning the Megazord for an FPS & QTE extravaganza.
The Megazord segments feature gorgeous animation & epic musical accompaniment, but the format
itself gets dull rather quickly & this, combined with Mega Battle's relatively brief duration,
left me with an unshakable feeling of dissatisfaction.
As I hinted at up front, Bandai's latest effort in the license that they put on the
map didn't quite measure up to my expectations, but that doesn't mean they've completely
lost their golden touch.
There's certainly a number of recommendable factors in its favor: the combat is tight
& fast-paced, the presentation perfectly fits the tone, and the story stays true to the
source material, but the hit detection can be a bit wonky, the Megazord portions are
disappointing & the inability to switch out protagonists on the fly is a total buzzkill!
With that said, though, I still feel that this PS4 title has more positive traits than
negative, and while I believe that the $15 asking price is too much for the amount of
content, the nostalgia nut in me ate it all up with a spoon & was left asking for more,
so that's why I rule that the verdict is...
Innocent!
I'm sure the comments are going to be on fire about how I'm too soft, but I don't care.
Mega Battle may not be the ideal modern Power Rangers adaptation, but it is worthy of being
entered into the catalog of classics and I'm sure it's even better in online co-op, so
all of you old school fans & beat 'em up aficionados should absolutely give it a go.
Bandai-Namco is back in the hot seat with perhaps the most notorious Godzilla game to date.
This 2015 translation of Toho's flagship property promised to be a kaiju enthusiast's
dream come true & served as a comprehensive trip through the history of the legendary movie monster.
From the 1950s black & white debut to the newest Hollywood hit, nearly every facet of
the franchise is represented, & the player gets to virtually live out their destructive
fantasies in three unique modes.
Godzilla geeks get to duke it out in the self-explanatory Vs. option, & the King of Kaiju offers a solo
tournament-esque string of melee matches, but the God of Destruction is where the bulk
of the action takes place.
Depending on which sub-section is chosen, we either have to fend off giant monsters
while trying to protect the humans & buildings in the vicinity or fend off giant monsters
and smash the objects & the highlighted generators into rubble.
Regardless of whether we side with the forces of good or evil, there are branching paths
a la Star Fox with a multitude of levels featuring varying difficulty settings.
As the campaign itself is fairly short, this added replay value was greatly appreciated
& it was a neat surprise to see which of the famous fiends
I would encounter on my various playthroughs.
As mentioned previously, the vast majority of the Toho supporting cast makes an appearance
at some point & they're accurately depicted from their celluloid origins.
The visuals really sell the size of these ferocious creatures and the audio enhances
the overall package.
Anyone who grew up watching these flicks will be delighted to participate in the explosive
mayhem, but this thrilling sensation is sadly short lived as there are a number of glaring
flaws that handicap this seemingly unstoppable juggernaut.
For starters, the data collection is cumbersome & doesn't fit in at all with the narrative.
We take on the role of the towering Toho mascot, but we're also instructed to record snapshots
for research purposes in order to defeat him.
No matter how you slice that, it just doesn't make sense, but at least it's optional.
What's far more aggravating are the pacing & control issues.
Godzilla ambles along in a manner resembling a sluggish snail on tranquilizers & his tank
like motions put the original Resident Evil to shame.
The analog stick is correctly mapped for moving forward or reversing, but the L1 & R1 buttons
are responsible for changing directions in the three dimensional space, and this awkward
assignment, combined with the slower than molasses speeds, ensures that death is constantly
around the corner because we can't escape when wounded.
It goes without saying that Godzilla had the potential to be amazing beyond words, but
the execution was embarrassingly fumbled.
They had all of the elements right there to make the perfect open world kaiju destruction
simulator, but they instead put invisible boundary lines in each setting, failed to
implement any kind of engaging objectives, and devised one of the worst control schemes
I've ever had the misfortune of experiencing.
I'll give them credit for capturing the right vibe & I'll even say that I had fun
smashing everything into pieces...for about an hour or two, and then it got really, REALLY boring.
This to me is the definition of disappointment and I can't think of a better reason to
rule that the verdict is...
Guilty!
Godzilla may not have made my blood boil as Sonic Unleashed did, but it actually accomplished
something far worse...it lulled me to sleep.
The mechanics are so shallow & repetitive that it almost felt like I was on autopilot
and not even the extra playable characters relieved the boredom.
I strongly suggest that you stay as far away from this as possible.
Learn from my foolish mistake & avoid spending $40 on this apparently out of print dud.
My poor purchase decision may have facilitated this video, but I'd rather have gotten something
on the Switch instead, and for that, I'm going to take great relish in sending this
to the IUPG slammer!
Taking a detour from the rocky territory of licensed tie-ins leads us to an unusual entrant
into this gaming court of law...Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5.
Published & developed by Activision & Robomodo, Pro Skater 5 was the hopeful answer to the
prayers of thousands of die-hard fanatics longing for a return to the roots of the celebrated
series & it kicks off with an adrenaline charged montage of deft-defying action to get them
in the proper mood.
As to be expected from the Tony Hawk brand, there's a roster of famous athletes that
wannabe boarders can step into the virtual shoes of & a variety of challenge events that
will put players of all skill levels to the test.
As I'm a half-pipe novice, I quickly took to the tutorial to get acclimated to what
Robomodo had in store for me & after suffering some mild Superman 64 PTSD, I was ready to
get my grind on.
In keeping with the back to basics approach, Pro Skater 5 ditches the plot elements of
the recent Tony Hawk titles in favor of a streamlined overworld setting that's broken
down into individual missions.
These missions range from the ring races & Simon Says segments to such creative & zany ideas
as destroying drones, lighting torches, & keeping the rapidly inflating egos of these professionals
in check, to name just a few.
The controls for performing these risky maneuvers are relatively user-friendly, but mastering
them is a completely different matter all together.
R2 pushes the athletes forward & L2 brakes, the standard grind & ollie techniques are
executed via Triangle or X, and pressing Circle or Square in conjunction with a directional
button will produce unique tricks.
Successfully stringing together these flashy moves will fill up the special meter & activating
it at its peak will imbue the boards with an illuminating aura that enhances the abilities
of their riders, but all it takes is a single mistake to render this null & void.
Between my mediocre skills & the fact that it's way too easy to ollie onto your ass,
the amount of usable special meter footage I captured ended up being overshadowed by
the mountain of evidence showcasing the problems that led to Robomodo's black sheep status
among the community.
Pro Skater 5 may have brought the series into the current console generation, but its options
are surprisingly stuck in the past.
The customization menu is nothing more than a bare-bones stats screen, the Create-a-Park
is limited in scope, and there's very little to distinguish the titular icon from the rest
of the talented boarders.
There are technical issues that remain un-rectified in spite of a whopping 5 gigabyte patch & the
gameplay itself is way too unbalanced.
As I mentioned previously, there are a multitude of missions that constitute each of the rink
locations & stars are rewarded for completing them.
These stars are required for accessing further areas to shred upon & the stipulations for
receiving the max amount are often very strict, so I was literally locked out from progressing
by the third major hub world.
I'm sure I'm going to get a bunch of "git gud, scrub!" messages in response to what
might be perceived as just a nitpick over the difficulty, but let me reiterate that
it's possible to hit the pavement by simply pressing X. Activision & Robomodo clearly
didn't let this one cook as long as it should have, and the proof is in the pudding that
the massive day one patch did diddly squat for fixing the bugs.
In all fairness to the collaborators, a licensing snafu was largely to blame for the launch
predicament & they made up for it by adding King Graham & the heroes in a half-shell themselves
at no extra cost.
The TMNT look amazing & I'll admit that this softened my stance towards Pro Skater
5 overall, but not even the pizza eating party dudes could distract me from the fact that
their presence was the result of shipping an unfinished product to store shelves, & that's
why I rule that the verdict is...
Guilty!
As someone who has very little familiarity with this franchise up to now, I don't possess
the anger or bitterness that were evoked from Tony Hawk's rabid supporters, but I can
still see that this is more than deserving of all the scorn it's received.
Robomodo tried so hard to please the loyal veterans & bring the nearly two decades old
I.P. into the modern era that they struck out on both accounts.
I'll give them credit for coming up with some clever ideas here & there, but they don't
save Pro Skater 5 from being an undisputed disaster that must pay for its crimes.
The Ghostbusters reboot from 2016 polarized film-goers across the globe, so it's perhaps
only fitting that the PS4 tie-in was met with a similar reception.
In keeping with the tradition of the previous licensed adaptations, Activision was in charge
of bringing this current gen Ghostbusters to the marketplace, and they were assisted
in this task by rookie developer FireForge Games.
FireForge & the creative crew behind this project subverted all expectations by not
only ignoring Venkman & the rest of the O.G. team, but also reducing the cast from the
new movie to nothing more than a few references in the cutscenes that introduce us to the
nameless quartet of fresh faced recruits in training.
The ensuing adventure follows the events of the source material & focuses on these junior
Ghostbusters in an isometric shooter reminiscent of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.
FireForge's debut effort takes heavy inspiration from that earlier Activision title in that
it allows four players to engage in simultaneous single screen co-op across enormous level
layouts ranging from an old mansion to a graveyard & beyond.
Regardless of whether you're partnering with some buddies or flying solo, the entire
roster is always available in a support capacity & the basic formula remains the same throughout.
There are five buildings teeming with paranormal activity & we have to exorcise the pesky poltergeists
at the behest of the perturbed property owners.
Our group of anonymous do-gooders are equipped with an impressive array of gear to fulfill
these requests, including the signature proton packs & PKE meters, as well as an assortment
of laser guns.
This formidable firepower is dished out with the right trigger, while the left trigger
lobs grenades, & it can be switched out at will by pressing L1 or reset to stock conditions
after overheating with R1.
The Square button rolls the temporarily disarmed protagonists away to safety & Circle shines
a guidance beam for getting them to the exit in one piece, but the last & arguably most
important tool in our inventory is the PKE meter.
The PKE meter is activated by flicking Up on the D-pad & it's pivotal for pinpointing
the trails of ectoplasmic energy, as well as uncovering health replenishing med packs.
The med packs are abundantly scattered around the supersized stages & I considered this
a godsend when I began my capture session, but I soon discovered that it's pretty much
impossible to die since the A.I. allies would revive me every time my HP dropped to zero.
I was understandably torn by this design choice.
As this was the last recorded title for this episode, I appreciated the relief & how it
let me progress with minimal fuss, but the retro enthusiast in me hated how it completely
neutered the challenge.
Ghostbusters takes so much inspiration from the pre-HD era, so it's surprising that
FireForge would go the modern route of having it be a matter of patience & not skill to
reach the end.
The bosses admittedly stretched those boundaries & I was literally at the edge of my seat,
waiting for my colleagues to lend a hand, but this, too, was minor on the grand scale
and the fight against Rowan was anti-climactic.
I'm normally a sucker for licensed content, but I can totally see why this was panned.
The roll mechanic is faulty, the trapping is convoluted, & don't even get me started
on the cringe-worthy dialogue spoken by the forgettable characters.
As if that weren't bad enough, the behind the scenes saga was a nightmare unto itself,
with FireForge folding due to mismanagement & financial woes shortly after wrapping up
the eight month production.
That is some pretty damning evidence in isolation, but when everything else is accounted for,
we get the recipe for a train-wreck of epic proportions...yet, in spite of all that, I
actually enjoyed my time with it.
As a licensed adaptation, it's pretty poor, & I'm baffled by the fact that they chose
to focus on four unknowns, but this gameplay style really clicked with me & I genuinely
found this to be a tasteful palette cleanser from some of the titles that I've played
recently, so that's why I rule that the verdict is...
Innocent!
Before you call me crazy in the comments, let me state that I partially agree with you.
A case could easily be made for this being trash: the length is way too short for a retail
product, there's a frickin' mandatory legal disclaimer with Comic Sans up front,
& did I mention how bad the dialogue is?
With that said, though, I've got to go with my gut on this one, & it's telling me to
pardon this very flawed offender.
As far as a recommendation goes, stay away from this unless you're morbidly curious
& check out Ultimate Alliance instead.
I mean, a bunch of John & Jane Does versus Spider-Man, Hulk & Wolverine?
That's a no-brainer!
If you took the basic Grand Theft Auto formula & filtered it through the lens of a beloved
Genesis era franchise, then the resulting hybrid would be Road Rage.
Released on November 14th, 2017 from Maximum Games & Team 6 Studios, Road Rage is essentially
a Mad Max-esque tale where we assume the role of a biker vigilante in the post-apocalypse
decline of Western Civilization.
Upon downloading a gigabyte patch & observing the primitively constructed prologue, we're
immediately dropped into the action without a tutorial & instructed to take down two of
the rival motorists as we become acclimated to the controls.
The Right & Left Triggers are responsible for accelerating & braking, respectively,
while Circle or Square attacks & Triangle activates the Nitrous boost.
The default motorcycles & weapons are basic & weak, but they can be upgraded or switched
out by accumulating money from work assignments.
These assignments range from routine races to assassination orders & they have to be
completed within a pre-determined time limit.
There are red arrows & checkpoint markers to provide directional guidance, and pressing
the touchpad will fill the screen with a detailed map of Ashen.
Our biker begins his or her journey in Subtroit, and the neighboring locations are unlocked
after they rise through the ranks & gain the trust of the higher ups, whom we meet in plot
progressing cutscenes.
These cutscenes mirror the primitive presentation of the prologue and are centered around an
interface of text messages that are performed by a cast of amateur voice actors.
I'll give them props for one of the funniest Arnold Schwarzenegger impersonations I've
ever heard, but I'm astounded that this is a PS4 game.
I swear I've seen superior graphics on consoles two generations removed & the programming
makes Ride to Hell look flawless in comparison.
Getting back on topic, there are 42 narrative driven tasks to plow through with very little
deviation among them, ensuring that the gameplay quickly becomes stale.
We just race, lather & repeat the process of fleeing from the cops, doing stunts & killing
the seemingly infinite population of bad guys until the conclusion at the Farmlands is reached.
Needless to say, the Farmlands & Road Rage in general is a true endurance test & anyone
who manages to overcome these hurdles should be applauded for their efforts.
GameFAQs gave the impression that this would be a breezy four hour long jaunt that paid
tribute to a classic EA property, but the reality is that this is a frustratingly tedious slog.
I will admit that I had fun when I began my recording session and some of the glitches
I encountered were downright hilarious, but the fact of the matter is that this should
not exist on the PS4, and that's why I rule that the verdict is...
Guilty!
As a huge fan of the Road Rash series from childhood, I was excited to hear about a potential
spiritual successor, but my cautious optimism became devastating disappointment after spending
a few hours with this truly terrible title.
Maximum Games & Team 6 Studios...you broke my heart & I can't express how much it pained
me to deliver that verdict, so I now have no choice but to unleash my unbridled rage upon thee!
Phew...it's finally over.
That is one of the most miserable culprits I've ever had to try in this court and it
has to be the single worst entry in the PS4 library.
Metacritic puts it smack dab at the bottom of their chart, and that to me signifies that
they're in agreement, so it can only get better from here, right?
Oh no...that's not...my eyes must be deceiving me, because that couldn't possibly say what
I think it did.
Unfortunately, Matt...it's true.
Alekhine's Gun was published & developed by the erroneously named Maximum Games & preceded
the aforementioned abomination to store shelves on March 1st, 2016.
Conceived as a sequel in the Death to Spies series, Alekhine's Gun is a stealth based
third person action adventure that begins with a prologue that needs to be seen to be believed.
That is legitimately what welcomes us into the world of Alekhine's Gun.
I didn't alter it in any way.
The voice-over is low to the point of being inaudible & the visuals are pretty much non-existent.
Maximum is not putting their best foot forward & I'm getting more negative vibes from this
than I did with Road Rage, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.
The underwhelming introduction transitions to a briefing & inventory screen before dropping
us into the mission.
Our first objective is to sneak into the castle & we have to don a disguise to gain entry
without sounding any alarms.
There are multiple guards stretched out across the perimeter & we have to steal their clothing
by incapacitating them with chloroform or any of the other silent implements at our disposal.
The various uniforms we procure help the Russian protagonist blend in with his surroundings,
but the erratically programmed A.I. can make this a living nightmare.
They tend to trail closely behind our virtual avatar like a dog greeting its absent master
& are suspicious of even the slightest sniff of subterfuge.
To say that this hinders forward momentum is the understatement of the century, but
that is far from the only problem plaguing this PS4 obscurity.
The backgrounds are littered with graphical defects, the weapon integration is clunky,
the compass is confusing, and the safe lock puzzle is atrocious.
I made a point in the previous IUPG about how Sonic 4 was the first time in this court
where I was hard-pressed to find any complaints.
Well...Alekhine's Gun was the complete opposite.
Maximum somehow managed to outdo themselves in churning out irredeemable trash, and I
have to congratulate them for mastering the awful arts by ruling that the verdict is...
Guilty!
I always do my best to find the silver lining in every offender that is brought to trial,
but Alekhine's Gun immediately left me slack-jawed over how dreadful it is.
This isn't a game, it's a torture device, & anyone who chooses to bring it into their
lives is asking for trouble, so let me save you from the torment by ridding the world
of its evil once & for all!
Wow, that was abysmal.
I'm actually starting to feel weak from the sheer badness of it all.
Luckily for me, there's only one more case on the docket before I get my much needed
rest, so let's hope it's an easy one.
Ah, my prayers have been answered.
The Life of Black Tiger is automatically guilty of being a straight up port of a mediocre mobile app.
Don't believe me?
Have a look at the footage & judge for yourself.
As incomprehensible as it may seem, The Life of Black Tiger is real.
So real, in fact, that it was promoted on the official Playstation YouTube channel.
Yes, you heard me right, we're living in a world where Streets of Rage & Comix Zone
have remained dormant for over twenty years, yet this 1Games waste of hardware specs gets
the Sony seal of approval.
That is an insult of the gravest magnitude & I'm disgusted that they had the gall to
charge $10 for what is normally free on Android & iPhones, so I'm going to do my civic duty
& restore the rightful balance by banishing this wicked sinner to eternal damnation in
the shadow realm!
Justice is served, and with that, I'm going to take a temporary recess & talk about some
higher quality titles again.
Be sure to come back for that & leave suggestions for future IUPG episodes in the comments or
on my social media accounts, but until then, court is now adjourned!
