Where to watch Australia vs Peru at the World Cup whilst Denmark vs France in on ITV - Duration: 2:55.

We have reached the business end of the group stage at the World Cup, and that means that matches are being played at the same time as each other

It has to be done in the name of fair play, but it does mean that it is very difficult to follow all the action and that games are cropping up on odd television channels

Tuesday afternoon sees the conclusion of Group C in Russia as Australia take on Peru and Denmark meet France

Here is when and where you can watch the two matches… When is Australia vs Peru and what channel is it on?  The game kicks off at 3pm BST and will be shown live on ITV 4, with coverage starting at 2

30pm. When is Denmark vs France and what channel is it on?  France vs Denmark is also on at 3pm, but is being shown on ITV with the programme also starting at 2

30pm. What is the situation in Group C?  France have already qualified and Peru are already eliminated, but Denmark and Australia have it all to play for

Denmark just need a point against France to guarantee a place in the last 16, but if they lose and Australia beat Peru then the Aussies are likely to go through, unless the goal difference and goals scored end level and it goes to fair play points

Things could get complicated at that point, but it would take a Denmark loss and Australia win to get to that stage

What are the odds? (Courtesy of Betfair)  11/5 Australia  13/5 Draw  13/10 Peru  –  4/1 Denmark  9/5 Draw  23/20 France

France, following a 2-1 win over Australia and 1-0 win over Peru, have already guaranteed themselves a spot in the knockout round no what happens in this game.

However, if they're going to win the group, which would match them up against the runner-up of Group D and thus likely avoid a red-hot Croatia side, they'll need at least a draw against Denmark.

As for Age Hareide's side, the Danes can win the group with a victory, and they can advance in second place with a draw, but things get a little tricky if they lose to Les Bleus.

(Deep breath) A defeat coupled with an Australia win over Peru would tie Denmark and Australia at four points.

In that scenario, if each of their games on Tuesday are decided by one goal, they would then finish tied in goal differential, and the tiebreaker would move to goals scored.

They enter Tuesday with two goals each, so Australia would have a good chance of winning that tiebreaker if they win and Denmark lose.

But if, say, Australia wins 1-0 and Denmark loses 2-1, then they'd be tied in goal differential and goals scored, and because they drew when they played each other, the tiebreaker would move to Fair Play points, which Australia leads heading into Tuesday (-3 vs.

-4). Clear as mud, right?.

The too-long-didn't-read version for Denmark is this: Don't lose.

That's a bit easier said than done considering France's embarrassment of riches in the attack–though Les Bleus haven't been all that efficient so far this tournament.

They have just three total goals despite 24 shots and nine on target–and one came via penalty and another via an Australia own goal.

Still, they're highly dangerous going forward, and Denmark will have to be very disciplined in defense they're going to avoid defeat.

On the other side of the pitch, France has been rock solid defensively, allowing just three shots on target and zero goals in the run of play (they gave up one via penalty to Australia).

So, Denmark will have their hands full, but they're still in good shape since they only need a draw to advance.

Still, with all the different potential scenarios, this should be a fun match–and if France scores first, the action is going to ramp up very quickly.

So, things could potentially get quite complicated in Group D, so lets attempt to break this down.

Croatia is as close to a lock atop the group as can be.

The only way they don't win the group is if the following events all happen: Nigeria beats Argentina; Croatia loses to Iceland; Nigeria makes up six on Croatia in goal differential (or Nigeria makes up five on Croatia in goal differential AND scores at least four more goals than Croatia).

So, yeah, you can go ahead and write in Croatia's name in that D1 spot, and you can do it in pen.

As for the runner-up in Group D, things may get more complicated.

Nigeria will lock up that spot with either A) a win, or B) a draw as long as Iceland doesn't beat Croatia by multiple goals.

If Argentina win on Tuesday, though, they'll move to four points and hop Nigeria.

Then, if Iceland loses or draws in that scenario, Argentina will advance.

If Iceland also wins, then it will go to a tiebreaker, which will be determined by goal differential, then goals scored, then Fair Play points.

Phew.

In short, Nigeria wants a win but will probably be happy with a draw.

Argentina must get a win, and to be safe, they'll want to win by as many goals as possible.

Argentina is favored to get the victory, and normally they would be expected to follow through on those odds, but they've looked like a mess under Jorge Sampaoli this World Cup.

Nigeria, meanwhile, is coming off a confidence-building win over Iceland, so you can't just assume Argentina will get the three points on Tuesday.

Ultimately, with two talented–albeit inconsistent–teams and incredibly high stakes, this should be a highly entertaining match.
