We're in the 5th episode of the Budget Rc Drift Project

In this episode we mounted this intercooler. Mounting it was very easy

To hold it in place i did add a bit of hot glue , put the intercooler and it is awesome

It is made of aluminium and it has a very nice construction quality and it looks pretty nice on the front bumper

The other main change we did was changing the motor placement to the middle and over the chassis reinforcement bar

This helps a lot on the weight balance on the car, you can see it drifts better to the both sides

And we keep the weight at the rear

we can also add more weight putting the battery sideways under the motor

To mount the motor above everything it was not as hard as it looks

I needed to dismount all the plastic holders of the old motor

and get a steel square plate to fix the motor in the new position

Also, the aluminium reinforcement bar had to be trimed to make the motor fit horizontally

Then, I had to drill holes for the motor in the steel square

Then I just had to screw everything together and Voila!

The drift itself feels really better now

And thinking that this is a really budget rc driftcar it now drifts very good! Way better than at the start of the project

I also added these side markers to the front of the body

Basically this is the final result

Now all it lefts is some on track footage but keep tuned that i will have that soon!

This is just a quick video, but its only to give you some more updates

I still have some ideas of other mods to do

all right so I call for a tow a little while ago for a friend and you know he

just got 'told to the location so all I got to do is just sign this sign and go

service for Motor Club of America so that's all I'm honestly doing is just

signing the paperwork and letting that be good you know it's already covered

he's the one that was driving it where'd he go he's don't know the car okay
