Directed by Damien Chazelle, starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, this is La La Land

The history of a Jazz musiciand and a aspiring actrees and their adventure across the love and fulfillment of dreams

if I had to describe this movies in one word it will be Captivating

Since I saw the trailer I felt the need to see it

i had really high expectations, and all that come true

It's a movie that has heart, is very remarkable that the director, actor and all the crew

put so many effort in it

in fact, Ryan gosling learn to play the piano just for this role

the musical scenes were filmed like the old musicals, that is, without cuts

So everything should be very well synchronized

and all that effort is seem in the movie

Is a film that pays homage to the old musicals and hollywood classical movies

because there are a lot of references of this

The characters are really well developed

it really portraits all the dreamers that go to LA or any other place to make true their goals

the characters are well structured, we know their fears, dreams and characteristics

and the chemistry between Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone characters is so amazing

i loved the photography, art and edition

as I said before, the music scenes were filmed without cuts

but the whole film is visually stunning, I felt as if i was watching a dream

the colors, the landscapes, the costume design and the set decorations

Although is set in the actual LA, all the details and art makes it feel like a classic movie

of the film editing i liked the transitions that were used, they used a technique known as "dissolve"

that looks like two scenes are being mixed, you will understand when you watch it

Damien Chazelle in its previous films has had the music as a main element, and in this movie is the same

the music is the thing that unites the characters and what tells us a lot about them

i really loved the soundtrack... In fact, I've listened to it all day

and maybe the characters are not the greatest singers, but it's not about that

what matters it's the interpretation and performance that they made, it was excellent

i cried when Emma Stone's characters sings for an audition

With musicals happen something interesting, or you love them or you hate them

and i think this is one that most of the people will love, or at least like

but of course, if you're going to watch it, it's because you like this type of stories

i think that the end was the right one, it was the one that the story needed, and i really like how it was developed

It's a movie that made me cry, laugh... it really touched me

I left the movie theater with hope, thinking about my dreams and loving the art

Or this could be a movie that really touch your feelings and reach your heart, like it with my mom

it's a movie that i definitely will watch again, i really want to watch it again

and personally I loved the film, but now it's your turn.

that's why i give to La La Land... 10 clapperboards out of 10
