Which Fiberglass Insulation Respirator Mask Should I Get? | Crawl Space Ninja Safety Tip - Duration: 3:17.

Hey, Michael Church here with the CrawlSpaceNinja.com, and in this video, I'm gonna talk to you about

the kind of personal protective equipment that you should wear when working in your

crawlspace, so stay tuned.

Okay, so recently I got a question.

This gentleman is going to be pulling insulation out of his crawl space, and he wanted to know

what he could use to protect himself from the insulation, fibers, and things that get

stirred up in the crawl space while he's working.

I'm gonna show you three types of masks.

One is our favorite, but the other two are effective as well.

The first one I'm gonna show you is your basic face respirator.

This is an N95 respirator, it fits kind of like a doctor's mask.

If you have facial hair like I do, these aren't really that good for you, so make sure that

you don't have a beard or something like that and they should fit pretty well.

Pretty inexpensive, you can get like 20 of these for $20 at Home Depot or Lowe's or something

like that.

The next mask that I would recommend would be the 3M 6300 mask.

This is a half-face mask.

It goes right over, like this.

And this clips around your neck.

This gives pretty good protection.

And then you probably didn't hear me.

This gives pretty good protection, and then use these little pancake discs.

They just put right on.

This is a P100 by 3M particulate filter.

These just clip right here, so you can get these at probably Amazon or something like

that.

This would be a good mask for you.

You'd wanna get these two together, because it doesn't come with any of these.

So make sure you get a P100 particulate filter for this type of mask.

The third kind of mask, and the one that is preferred by the Ninjas, is the full face.

Now the reason why we like this type of mask is because we wanna protect our eyes as much

as our lungs, and this is a nice little mask that you can get.

They're about $80 to $130, depending on the style that you get.

It also uses the P100 pancake filters, they just clip right on here.

Little bit more of an investment, but a much better mask, because typically the other mask,

the 3M6300 with the half face, if you're trying to wear glasses or something like that, it

could fog up the glasses.

This is a great mask, 3M makes a brand.

There's a few also available on Amazon from China that's a little bit less expensive.

But we recommend the full face mask, easy to clean.

And they even come with some facial protector guards that you can put over there, if you're

working with chemicals or things like that.

Anyway, that was a great question, what do we use to protect our lungs from fiberglass

So you're ready to upgrade to a new iPhone, and just can't see spending $1,000 for the

latest model.

You're in great shape.

Apple has more models available for sale this year than in year's past, with prices starting

at $349.

Some models are larger, snappier and are water-resistant.

The most recent phones have increasingly more powerful and versatile cameras, and wireless

charging.

But there are so many to choose from, eight altogether, starting at the low end with the

compact $349 SE and going all the way up to the iPhone X that fetches a grand or more.

The iPhone SE Apple's smallest and lowest priced iPhone

is 4 inches, has all the latest software, but lacks the higher end, higher resolution

camera and extra power of the more expensive models.

This year's model comes with twice the storage--32 GB--as previous editions.

The 6S and 6S Pluses The last of the full-sized classic iPhones

to still have standard-sized headphone jacks, are now two years old.

They have less power (the A9 chip) although most consumers wouldn't be able to tell

the difference between the A9 and the newer A11 "Bionic" chip unless they were doing

video editing or using one of the new Augmented Reality apps that require more power.

The 6S models are are also missing the higher-end camera features found in today's top models.

Price: $449 and $549.

The 7 and 7 Pluses With these 2016 models you start to see faster

performance (A10 chip), water resistance and in the larger 7 Plus, two camera lenses, one

for wider shots, and one for portraits.

The basic wide-angle camera of the 7 and 6S are otherwise pretty similar, with the same

resolution.

Both shoot 4K high-resolution video.

They sell for $549 and $669, respectively.

The 8 and 8 Plus On paper, these seem like carbon copies of

the 7s and 6S's.

They look similar and have almost the same features.

Only these later models add in a glass back, wireless charging, and faster performance

(that A11 bionic chip).

What's more, the Plus adds software tricks that let you enhance portrait shots with fun

special effects, including one that lets you completely darken the background.

The 8 sells for $699, the 8 Plus, $799.

The iPhone X The first re-designed iPhone since 2014's

iPhone 6, touts facial recognition, the ability to make animated emojis, a near edge-to-edge

display and no home button.

Just be prepared to spend: the most expensive iPhone to date starts around a grand and commands

$1149 if you want a model with max storage.
