Finding Who And What Resonates.

By Anne, Guest writer, In5D.com

This personifies UNITY beautifully.

Uniting people, cultures and ideas together as a whole.

We are everyone and everything simultaneously.

The entire cosmos is with-in our very essence-ONIPRESENCE.

This supersedes ALL cast and class systems.

These are man-made fear based separative, illusory conditioned constructs.

Energies are AMPLIFIED at the moment.

Lets ride this energy and momentum to manifest and/or let go of what isnt

working for us.

Now is the time to continue dissolving these fears and ALL that kept us there.

Lets amp it up and fire up the TURBO!

Leap into LOVE and UNITY!

UNITY encompasses total acceptance for one another no matter what.

An example of this is when our most wildest, weirdest wacko jacko ideas are instantly understood,

accepted and even EXPANDED upon.

Co-creating humorously TOGETHER.

To achieve total acceptance of one another involves sometimes agreeing to dis-agree respectfully.

When truly in our heart-space we want EVERYONE to thrive.

And we do whatever we can to encourage and empower EVERYONE to be the VERY BEST they

can be.

Example, I LOVE to sing, it fills me with pure HAPPINESS and JOY.

I also LOVE to hear others singing whole-heartedly.

AND I dont care if their naturally gifted or not.

PASSION is CONTAGIOUS.

It makes me HAPPY when I see/hear/feel others HAPPINESS too.

ALWAYS surround yourself with joyful positive people!

Mother earth is calling to us ALL to stand in our power and step into our soul purposes/missions

TOGETHER.

Quite often this call presents itself in the most unusual, unexpected and humorous ways.

Mother earth speaks to us through emotions, elementals, words and ideas.

Through All creatures great and small.

Also through colors, symbols and songs seen/heard/felt when we are in and inspired by nature-synchronicities.

HEED HER CALL!

Synchronicities can and do occur anywhere, anytime, in fact EVERYWHERE.

These can come in the form of other people, numbers (numerology, codes) and are seen in

the sky/clouds and stars etc.

When they excite us and make our hearts soar follow them.

Our intuition is confirming we are on the right path.

These synchronicities are leading us to our highest greatest outcomes.

If things being reflected are unwanted, modify, even small daily changes can have wonderful,

rapturous, ripple effects.

TOGETHER we are STRONGER!

TOGETHER we SHIMMER and SHINE BRIGHTER!

UNITY AMPLIFIES LOVE!!!

Unpacked: What's wrong with the congressional budget process? - Duration: 4:19.

My name is Molly Reynolds. I'm a fellow in the Governance Studies program here

at Brookings and I study Congress. Congress has a pretty terrible track

record at getting its budget work done on time. 1996 was the last time that

Congress managed to complete all of its spending bills before the government's

new fiscal year started on October 1st. And the budget resolution, which is

Congress's high level spending blueprint for taxing and spending for a given year,

that also has a deadline of April 15th that Congress routinely misses. And

this is because really, partisanship. I like to compare this to a game of

whack-a-mole. So, members of Congress and the parties come to Washington with all

kinds of goals that they want to see enacted, and when you eliminate the

opportunity to do them in one place, to whack down

you whack down the mole in one spot, it still pops back up somewhere else, and the

budget process is the place for that. All that partisanship pops back up to

the surface. The budget process is supposed to proceed every year in an

orderly, scheduled way. The president is supposed to send Congress a budget in

February, Congress is supposed to adopt a budget resolution that sets out a

framework for taxing and spending by the middle of April, and then the House and

the Senate are supposed to follow that budget blueprint with individual

spending bills that are supposed to be finished by October 1st when the federal

government's new fiscal year starts. What's really to blame for the state of

the budget process currently is politics. And by that I mean that there is a lot

of politics in Congress, and increasingly fewer and fewer places to put it.

So, if members of Congress have a political fight that they want to have

either with other members or between the parties, they need to find a place to put

it and increasingly the budget process is the only place that that can go. So we

see a really great example of this in the House of Representatives where for

a long time a lot of bills would come to the floor of the House open for

amendment. So individual rank-and-file members could have a lot of input into

what went into that bill. Now, really the only bills that come to the floor under

that kind of open process are spending bills so members have to take all the

fights that they want to have in the whole legislative process and

pack them into those appropriations bills and sometimes this means that it

puts the parties in a really tricky spot. In 2015, for example, the Republicans had

to pull from the floor a spending bill over a controversy involving the

Confederate flag and that can really derail the process. Another place where

we see this happening is with budget reconciliation. So, budget reconciliation

is a process that allows bills to move through the Senate without the

possibility of a filibuster. We saw this used for Republicans' health care bill

earlier this year. They're currently using it for the tax bill. And in order

to unlock the reconciliation process, first you have to adopt the budget

resolution, which really raises the stakes for getting that done, which can

also increase the leverage of different factions and can make it more

difficult in the end to finish that part of the process because the stakes are so

high. There are a lot of really great ideas out there for what we might do to

fix the budget process and some of them have been developed by my colleagues

here at Brookings. But for me, the biggest question before we even get to specific

proposals like: Do we do two-year budgets instead of one-year budgets? Do we change

the rules for considering spending bills in the Senate? That sort of thing. We have

to ask: What is the budget process for? What do we want it to accomplish? The

current budget process was designed in the early 1970's in large part to address

an imbalance between the executive branch and Congress in terms of the

power of the purse. And is that a problem that we have anymore?

I'm not sure. And so before we really start to make specific changes to the

budget process, I think we need to have a broader conversation about what does it

mean for Congress to tax and spend in the current partisan environment.

It's Happening! Hillary Could Finally Be Arrested After What Trump Just Tweeted Once He Got His ... - Duration: 5:57.

It's happening Hillary could finally be arrested after would trump just tweed and once he got his account back every American who voted for

president trump has been waiting to see what would happen to his former opponent one would think that after the scandal that has surrounded

Hillary Clinton she would want to stay out of the spotlight

but that doesn't seem to be the case the former first lady is doing everything she can to keep America stirred up about the president however

the more Hillary points to some sort of wrongdoing on the part of the president the more it looks like she was to blame all along every

piece of evidence that is brought up about collusion with outside entities during the 2016 presidential election has backfired on the

democratic party and ultimately points back to Hillary and her supporters

today though Americans got a glimmer of hope that we might see justice after all president romped we did this after his tweeter account two

was mysteriously taken offline and then reinstated

Donna brazile just stated the DNC raid the system to illegally steal the prime Mary from Bernie Sanders bought and paid for by crook

edition.… Base Israel collusion and dishonesty major violation of campaign finance laws and money laundering

where is our Justice Dept this was tweed and just hours after the president found that his tweeter account had been deactivated the

controversial social medio count has been no end of pain and suffering for democrats who depend on the left leaning media to spin the

public perception of everyone including presidents however

president trump decided that he needed a tool to talk directly to the American people

and twitter has been that tool according to the BBC

and employee deactivated at around an old trunk during their last day on the job the account was offline for about 11 minutes

and twitter has since launched an investigation

tweeter said it was investigating the problem and taking steps to avoid it happening again it later said

through our investigation we have learned to dispose d'un by atwitter customer support

employee who did this on the employees last day we are conducting a full internal review

so what exactly is this issue that the president was so ready to tell Americans about

and why does he think the media won't tell us according to daily wire one of the democratic

party's top politicians have jumped ship and is telling all their dirty secrets

especially hillary's maybe she realized that the ship was going down and wanted to find some leverage to keep her from coming under fire

or maybe she's just not a very loyal person and found a way to make a block of Donna brazile

the former Democratic National Committee head has led out secrets that can never be gotten back

and it might just take down croaked Hillary once and for all

former Democratic National Committee had Donna brazile is coming out with a new tell all

book about the chaos at the DNC during the 2016 campaign on Thursday

she revealed a section of it at politico what emerges from the exit as a picture of brazile as Harrell and of course

Hillary Clinton as Villegas

Debbie Wasserman Scholz as incompetent and lazy

and Baraka Bahn as the unnamed cancer that ate away at the center of the party brazile portrays

herself as energy opal are assessing out malfeasance of the DNC

and stealing herself with a god and sold to inform the unfortunate Bernie Sanders that he had been job before I called Bernie Sanders

I lit a candle in my living room and put on some gospel music

brazile rights I wanted to center myself or what I knew would be an emotional phone call

this comes from the same lady who leaked debate questions to Hillary Clinton to disadvantage Sanders as if talking about the

entire democratic party wasn't enough to put someone inside the crosshairs of some of the most dangerous people in the United States she

also get specific about Hillary our former almost president of the United States we might have dodged a bullet by not a

liking Hillary but it's doubtful that brazile will be able to dodge whenever the Clinton send after her Hillary use the debt to pick up power they

pledged to fill in the funding gap for the DNC so long as they got to run operations Gehrig and seller cfo of the Hillary campaign

apparently described the party has fully under the control of hillary's campaign which seems to confirm the suspicions of the Bernie camp the

campaign had the DNC on life support giving it money every month to meet its basic expenses

while the campaign was using the party as a fund raising clearinghouse Hillary raise an enormous amount of money for the DNC

but virtually all that money went to hillary's campaign less than half of 1% of all money Hillary are raised from her fundraisers went to

the states brazile explains when the politico story described this arrangement as essentially

money laundering for the Clinton campaign

hillary's people were outraged at being accused of doing something she the Bernice people were angry for their own reasons saying this was part

of a calculated strategy to throw the nomination to Hillary while we can take open the idea that the

backward and cricket nature of the DNC might finally be coming to light

make no mistake if the DNC as we know it does crumble

that doesn't mean the evil people will go away

if the DNC is no more there's no doubt that something even more sinister will rise from the ashes

like some sort of perpetually destructive phoenix the fight is not over

it only just beginning

What If Goku Killed Piccolo? | Dragon Ball Code - Duration: 4:22.

Goku and Piccolo have fought many times during their life.

When King Piccolo was around he even beat Goku once, so badly that Goku's heart stop.

Then, when Goku fought Piccolo in the World Martial Arts Tournament he almost killed Piccolo

but Goku spared his life and gave him a Senzu Bean.

But what if Goku wasn't so kind and left him to die?

Hey how's it going my name is Raf and welcome to Dragon Ball Code.

Today we are gonna talk about what if Goku killed Piccolo?

Here's what I think would have happened.

First let's allow what happened in the anime to happen until the tournament.

So, after King Piccolo fought Goku the first time, he left him on the floor assuming that

he was dead because his heart had stopped beating for a second.

This was his biggest mistake.

Goku came back for him and killed him.

He throws a final egg out of his mouth with Piccolo jr. in it.

It eventually hatches and from in it come out the Piccolo we know now.

We fast forward 3 years later and Goku meets all his friends in the World Martial Arts

Tournament.

He soon realizes who he is fighting in the finals, it's Piccolo.

And here is where things are gonna start changing.

When they start the fight Goku is ready to fight but Piccolo is ready to kill him.

At first Piccolo tries to destroy the arena but Goku doesnt let him.

They start fighting.

And exchange many blows.

Piccolo tries his hardest but he doesn't seem to be able to stop Goku.

And after many failed attempts to kill Goku including using his giant form he decides

to aim for the audience killing dozens.

This, infuriates Goku and he unleashes everything he's got on Piccolo.

But not before he gives one of his famous speeches to his enemy.

Now, there is nothing holding him back.

Piccolo Tries to attack but Goku uses his Meteor Combination move, which is one of my

favorites by the way, and shoots the Kamehameha wave with all his might.

Piccolo is obliterated.

But as a result of this, Kami instantly dies as well taking the Dragon Balls with him.

Knowing Dragon Ball, this is very bad news for everyone since they use them non stop

to revive people.

A few years go by and Raditz, Goku's brother arrives on earth.

After Goku learning about his past and Raditz kidnapping Gohan, Goku decides to fight him.

Krillin, eventhough he knows he's got not chance, he joins in the battle anyways.

This time Piccolo obviously won't be coming to help since he is long gone.

Goku and krillin start fighting Raditz.

But they are no match for him.

Krillin is beat up, Goku is beat up but out of nowhere Gohan explodes out of Raditz's

pod and attack him with tremendous force.

This allowes Goku to grab him to grab him while telling krillin to use his most power

full attack.

Krillin hesitates since Goku would be kill as well.

And Goku yells "do it now, Krillin!"

Krillin uses his Desctructo Disc and kills them both.

The problem here is that Goku won't be able to be revived since the Dragon Balls are gone

and Gohan won't train with piccolo.

So when the time comes and Vegeta an Nappa arrive.

The only fighters the have to fight are Krillin, Tien , Chautzu, Yamcha and perhaps Master

Roshi joins the fight since the are in a time of need.

They still got no chance.

The Saiyans release the Saibamen and Tien kills one, Yamcha dies the same way, Krillin

kills 3, and Master Roshi takes out the last one.

After that, the next few things play out the same way.

Leading to Chautzu and Tien's death.

Master Roshi and krillin decide to team up against Nappa but the have no chance and the

both sadly they are both killed.

After everyone is defeated, the Saiyans decide to clean up the planet like they normally

do by eliminating every one on earth to get the planet ready for sale.

Finally Vegeta and Nappa leave and continue their mission to take over planets.

And that's what I think would have happen if Goku had killed Piccolo.

What do you think would have happened?

What Causes Osteoarthritis Joint Disease And How To Treat It!? - Duration: 3:41.

What Causes Osteoarthritis Joint Disease And How To Treat It!?

Over the years, the connective tissue that supports the function of the joints wears

away leading to stiff joints and inflammation in the hips, neck, lower back, knees, and

the small joints in hands and feet.

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a common degenerative joint illness which impacts over twenty-seven

million Americans.

It affects the cartilage, which is the rubber-like tissue that lubricates the ends of bones in

joints to support painless movements.

It includes numerous layers which deteriorate with aging, and as a consequence, parts of

it and the bones can break off, causing swelling and movement discomforts.

The prolonged use of these joints with bone-on-bone contact causes additional issues like joint

damage, pain, and bone spurs, which are bony projections along the bones' edges.

These are the most common risk factors which contribute to the development of this illness:

Aging Joint injury

Obesity Genetics

Poorly formed joints Joint stress

Luckily, the cartilage can be regrown in a natural way!

The Journal of Arthroscopic and Related Surgery released a study which spoke about the attempt

of Dr. Kevin Stone and his team to regrow knee cartilage using arthroscopy, which is

a less invasive alternative to knee replacement.

The study included 125 people, with an average age of 64 years.

Doctors took cartilage from an undamaged part of the knees of each participant and created

a paste which was later applied over the affected area.

After 12 years, most patients experienced excellent improvements in terms of the pain,

and 42 participants showed signs of regrown cartilage, and 18 of them already had a repaired

cartilage.

At the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), Dr. Riley Williams used artificial and real

cartilage to perform cartilage remediation surgical treatment on 51-year old clients.

Researchers used "plugs" to fill the holes in the cartilage, which lowered the pain and

boosted the physical activity of the participants.

On the other hand, scientists have discovered that gelatin is a safe and natural way to

build the cartilage.

This is a translucent, flavorless food product, acquired from hydrolyzed collagen– which

is an essential protein found in the skin and other connective tissues.

A study presented at the American Academy of Family Physicians in Dallas analyzed the

effects of gelatin on 175 people with osteoarthritis of the knee.

Participants received either a placebo or 10 grams of gelatin (or 1 tablespoon) in addition

to vitamin C and calcium daily.

After 8 and 14 weeks, the group that took gelatin experienced much better mobility,

less knee pain, improved flexibility and joint strength, and lowered stiffness.

Despite gelatin, these are some other methods to support the health of the cartilage:

Silicea gel is a silicon water-based gel, which contains other synthetic materials which

absorb and maintain moisture.

Studies have revealed that it absorbs toxins, supports healing by depositing essential minerals

in the bones, and improves skin health.

Hyaluronic acid is a clear lube, naturally produced by the body, in the joints, skin,

and eye sockets.

It lubricates the painful joints, treats eye discomfort, and nourishes the skin.

IU's Concert Staff Reveals What IU Is Really Like In Person

An Instagram post by an alleged staff member revealed what it is like to prepare for the upcoming concert tour with IU.

The staff, who chose to remain anonymous, shared IUs professional work ethic on his Instagram account.

Source: Dispatch.

"IU rehearses with the full band at least four times a week, which itself is insane.

She sings non-stop for six hours, which will result in her flawless performance during the show.

— IUs Concert Staff.

He also praised IUs endurance and stamina regarding her choreography practice sessions.

As for her performance, IU treats the choreography sessions like three hours of non-stop aerobic exercise.

She does not show any physical limitations when it comes to her endurance.

It was later revealed that the post was actually a concert promotional article written by her manager as if it were written by an anonymous staff/fan.

She sings non-stop for six hours, which will result in her flawless performance during the show.

She sings beautifully.  As for her performance, IU treats the choreography sessions like three hours of non-stop aerobic exercise.

She does not show any physical limitations when it comes to her endurance.

That must be a reason why she is called the dancing Goddess, and a dancing queen.

Today is her Busan concert and I watched the rehearsal in awe yesterday.

It was mesmerizing to see her perform on a stage after seeing her practice in a room for many days.

You will not regret it.

It is clear that she worked really hard to prepare for the concert.

She will deliver at the concert and her fans will be satisfied.

I would like to enjoy the show as a member of the audience as well. — IUs Manager.

What does the rate rise mean for you? | #WeNeedToTalkAboutMoney 047 - Duration: 0:49.

So the Bank of England raised interest rates from

0.25% to 0.5% this week and so what does that mean for you? We've

had loads of headlines scaremongering saying millions of people are going to

lose their homes and will not be able to afford to pay their mortgages as rates have doubled

but the reality is that this rate we've gone back to is the same as it was in

July 2016 so for most mortgage borrowers they already know what it means to them

because they have to think back to July 2016 and if you can't do that then a rate rise is

the least of your problems. But crucially what I think it means for people is it

sharpens the focus that they need to realise the direction of travel for

interest rates is firmly upwards and you need to therefore plan and think about

if you want to fix your mortgage.

G'ma Confused When 5-Yr-Old Dumps Out Money.

Starts Sobbing When She Says What It's For

A little girl named Sunshine is certainly living up to her name!

The 5-year-old, who lives with her grandmother, Jackie Oelfke, in Ishpeming, Michigan, has

been saving up all of her money in the hopes of buying a snowmobile one day.

One evening as Jackie was trying to get some work done, she noticed Sunshine dump all of

the money out of her piggy bank and begin to count it.

Curious, she asked the young girl what she was doing, and Sunshine's answer left her

in tears.

"I am going to give it to my friend at school because she don't get milk for snack.

Her mom don't have any milk money and I do," Sunshine told her.

Jackie was thrown off guard and didn't know quite how to respond at first.

She knew she couldn't say no to such a compassionate and generous gesture.

The next day, Jackie drove Sunshine to school early so she could take the money in and put

it toward her friend's milk account.

As she got back in her car, Jackie was so overwhelmed by her granddaughter's gesture

that she decided to record an emotional video detailing the young girl's kindness.

"She has a lot of love in her," Jackie proudly said of her granddaughter.

Jackie's video has since gone viral and she has received many messages from people

all over asking how they can contribute.

She has since set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for milk for other kids at the school

who usually have to go without.

The campaign has already raised more than twice its initial $5,000 goal!

Jackie said she has been so touched to see how Sunshine's one little gesture of kindness

has turned into something so incredible.

"My heart is so full of pride and love knowing in a world where there is so much hatred,

there is a ray of Sunshine with a HUGE heart that at the age of 5 LOVES everyone and always

wants to help," she wrote in a Facebook post.

What is mixed media?-- Beginner Mixed Media - Duration: 15:54.

hi everyone its Keren here and I'm here with a new video today I am going to

focus on what is mixed-media I've been doing a series of mixed-media for

beginners where I've been focusing on certain mediums such as gesso or gel

medium and I have some of those videos already up on my youtube channel but

then my husband suggested that maybe I should do a video about what is

mixed-media I think a lot of people are confused a little bit about what is

mixed-media and if you're not confused and this will just help you clarify

certain things if you have any and also for people like my husband who don't

know what mixed-media is that he sees me talking about it all the time because I

talk a lot about my art and about mixed-media but he doesn't really know

what it is so this is basically for everyone who wants to know about

mixed-media people that may know some but don't want to if I want to like

expand on what they or their knowledge or simply people that don't know what

mixed-media is at all so this is basically for everyone and I want to

clarify this is my opinion on what I think is mixed medium I am just going by

what I've learned and what I know this is not I didn't take anything any

information from the internet to kind of gather it this is all my information and

it's basically my opinion on what I think mixed-media is and I always

encourage people if they want to specify and give information as well go ahead

and leave me a comment and I can tell me some more things if I forgot anything

that is to say today then that's a good way to kind of add things because people

go and read the comments and they could read about more information about this

so we're going to start about what is mixed-media and those two words if you

actually break them down it's basically the key to everything so we're gonna

start with media because mixed I think you know what mixed is is mixing two

things together or a few things together but media is what is important to

understand so media is by definition is any type of supply that can be

incorporated into art or into crafting so that's basically anything because you

can incorporate absolutely anything into your art or into your into your crafting

if some people think of digital media and that is just basically anything that

you can do digitally but I'm talking specifically about physical art that we

can create and media is basically the plural of medium and medium is basically

any type of supply that can be your product that can be used for for art and

that basically the problem with that is that is such a huge term and so many

things are mediums that it's really hard to really understand what is mixed-media

and what is not or is there a difference between the two and that's why it's so

difficult to for some people to really understand what mixed-media is because

we have painters people that do fine art and do sculpting and painting and do

drawing and is that mixed-media well this is what I'm going to clarify a

little bit because it's just a such a broad term that it's really hard for

even for myself sometimes to really categorize where mixed-media falls and

what is it exactly I have a little cheat sheet here so just to remind me or some

points in case I forget so there is lots of different types of mediums and I'm

kind of going to categorize them into dry mediums and wet mediums so things

that are dry mediums are things like paper beads mica mica powder

how do you call this a microbeads yeah glass beads anything that is dry so

anything that is not sticky and not wet glitter I'm trying to think any type of

metal embellishment wood embellishment plastics so basically anything that is

dry that you can incorporate into your art and then we have the wet medium so

I'm kind of splitting those up just to make you understand what are mediums in

general and what mediums are usually what people in odd refer

- as mediums or media and we have things like Jessel all different kinds of gesso

so they were white the black and the clear and the different consistencies

which I talked about in my video are all about just so-so go ahead and go check

that out there I'm linking that above as well and then you have things like gel

medium which categorizes into so many things matte medium fluid medium pouring

medium there's so many of those mediums out there and I made actually two videos

on that because it was just so hard to like kind of put that all in one video

and explaining all the differences between them so that's in a different

video that I'm also linking I'm also going to link everything in the

description area of this video so you know more or less what I'm talking about

then there is modeling paste there's texture paste there's just so many

things there is sprays and waxes and and texturising things and it's just a list

becomes like huge so there's so many mediums that this is why this is why

they call things mediums so the media story this is why they call things media

so I'm just going to go into the Wet Ones a little bit because if you think

about mixed media most people specifically talk about the wet mediums

so that when you think mix media the first thing you think about is that all

the wet mediums and people get very very scared as soon as I think of gesso and

sprays and gels and things like that but you don't realize that you are

technically doing mixed-media and a lot of your things without even realizing it

because very very hard like it's very hard to kind of categorize where

mixed-media is so for example a kid in kindergarten that does paper mache or

not kindergarten in elementary school that does a paper paper mache or that

takes a bunch of papers and glues things everywhere and then paints it all over

is that mixed-media well he used acrylic paints which is a medium he used glue

which is a second medium he used paper and he used some other objects that's

for objects if we're going by that then that kid did mixed-media

and it's funny because whenever I do classes on mixed-media I always say to

people this is like kindergarten you're going to see that you're gonna be mooing

and pasting things almost as we did in kindergarten so you really need to you

really need to kind of take away that fear that award sounding mixed-media

those two words install fear and so many people because they think mixed-media

that sounds so complicated I don't really know what it is and if I don't

know what it is I'm not going to try because they are scared they're gonna

ruin their canvas are going there page or ruin whatever it is because it's

something wet and it's going to make a whole mess well inks are wet if you're a

card maker inks are wet if you're spraying through stencils or if you're

doing inks tourist and so that's wet so there's many different things and it's

really hard to kind of categorize where mix media lies like what is mixed media

is that is a card maker that is using inks and paper and stencils and also

some other flowers and things is that mixed-media they've used a bunch of

mediums and mixed-media is a bunch of mediums mixed together so it's really

hard to categorize that and really I don't really have an answer for that so

you I find that I leave the mixed-media definition to the person that is doing

it if you're just making really beautiful cards that have sprays and

have like little beads and have glue and have flowers and have many different

things then you are you know what I'm not to want to say no that's not

mixed-media it is it's a maybe a simpler form of mixed-media because it can be

there's so many different levels of what you can incorporate into this but that's

a excuse me that's a beginner stage of mixed-media and that's a great way to

start so another thing is just really I would tell people to just get out of

having so much fear about what is mixed-media and start experimenting and

to experiment the best thing to do is to have a journal and I have a journal down

here and let me just show you

so I have a journal and I've been doing some of the experiments oops some of the

experiments in here with the gesso and the things just to experiment things and

that's a great way to start mixed-media because you can have something that it's

just a journal you can use an old book and you're not wasting anything it's

just stop fearing it and I have a video on basically most common misconceptions

people feel about mixed-media and I'll link that with a little as well because

people have such fear of it that they're not willing to even try because it

sounds so complicated but all mixed-media is in my opinion is

basically mixing a bunch of mediums together so they can be wet mediums they

can be dry mediums you can create a collage form of it or you could just

simply make a scrapbooking page or a card and that is mixed-media on his own

so technically painters have been doing that for many many years they have been

in court if if you're just just using acrylic paints then maybe not but some

of them incorporate things like gel medium and paste and things into it and

that actually turns into mixed-media so there's really so many things like we've

been doing that since as I said since kindergarten so it's something that we

need to kind of take away that fear and just really understand what what how

simple mixed-media is so the question is like I have how many mediums do you

combine to make it mixed-media is it just two because as soon as you have two

then it becomes media I'm not sure I think it's up to you to kind of decide

if you're doing mixed-media or not I mean yes if you're only combining two

elements let's say gesso and modelling piece that still mixed-media if you're

taking a bunch of glue and gluing a lot of things on a canvas or doing or

spraying a layout that's still mixed-media to tell you the truth you

can never just use two mediums it's very very hard is that should being over

almost a challenge for somebody to only use two mediums on a project so in

reality your end up using so many different mediums that it becomes

mixed-media whether you like it or not that's basically what happens and

it's really important to understand that you are doing it even if you're not

realizing it because you're combining certain things together and those are

mediums on its own so a lot of people think mixed-media is only the wet

mediums but you have to understand that if you're putting those dry mediums like

the paper and the glitter and the glue I mean not the glue is the wax right the

paper the glitter the flowers that the different things that are dry you're

combining those with the wet ones that still mix media so technically you might

be doing that already and you don't even realize it so it's basically I actually

covered all my points there's a lot of tools that you can use from mixed media

and I have a video on the most common tools that I use myself for mixed media

and I'll link that as well below and basically it's just that it's mixed

media is a combination of many different mediums whether they're wet or dry or

both you could do only wet you can do only dry and basically combine

everything together you could say I mean it's a scrapbook or a mixed-media artist

it could be a scrapbooking person that is just basically just using paper that

is not mixed-media but if you're combining anything else stencils

modeling paste sprays and wet mediums with those dry mediums then you're

technically doing mixed-media scrapbooking which is how actually

started mixed-media I was a plain scrapbooker I was doing everything you

know matting cutting pasting and then suddenly a whole world opened up and I

started adding different things inks and sprays and stencils and I got into

mixed-media and I started incorporated once I learned I started incorporating

that into into canvases into or my art journal into cards so it's basically

such a broad term so as long as you're using a bunch of mediums that are a

combination of kind of wet and dry then you're doing mixed-media

and that is what I feel mixed-media is I could get a lot of people telling me

that that's not what it is but that is my opinion that's what I feel because I

see people struggling with figuring it out what mixed-media is and that's

really all it is it's a quite a simple thing and once you know that that's what

it is then you just take away that fear of of wetting something and being scared

that it will damage and yes you do know right away how to use all the products

no absolutely not and you do have to learn kind of the

formulas what I call it and you do learn and it's great to watch beginner

mixed-media videos where they teach you what are those products and how to use

them what combining what to combine with what because that helps in your

knowledge and also helps in developing your skills to really be able to do to

use mixed-media and other places to use products in other places not only in

small areas like a scrapbook or a card but you can develop yourself into doing

other projects and canvases and different things that are basically much

more I guess let's say complicated but they're really not complicated but that

way you learn and go take classes there's a lot of people that take

classes it's it's so hard to be a teacher and under and and see people not

go to my classes because they're so scared of the mixed media word that

they're not sometimes I don't even include that warden Mike in my class and

description because people are so afraid that they're not even willing to come

and try even though they might really like it because there's really no it's

not really that difficult so I really encourage people to stop fearing what

the word mix words mixed media is and start experimenting and believing and

trying and just having fun so that's basically my vision and my suggestion

and I hope it clarifies a lot of things about what is mixed media and please go

and watch some of those videos that I'm in that I posted already I still have a

few more coming up but I just wanted to kind of get into the mixed media one

just to make sure that I am that I am that I help people understand the

general term so thank you so much and I hope I got

some points cleared up for everyone have an amazing day

bye

you

but its not, you know, something you get tired of if you

really love what you're doing and I love what I'm doing

you know, its messy, its busy

and you get weird looks from the checkout ladies

at Costco for having nine 15 pound bags of

baking soda in your cart and having four you know,

Costco sized things of vodka

and having to explain: No! Like, I own a business

I make soap, and bath bombs, and and tinctures

for people, and you know, I really love that

I love that too, I love everything I love sharing, and

making things for people that I had originally just started

making for myself

(hip hop music)
