could see its destructive rhetoric destroyed as China agrees to ramp up economic pressure on the volatile country.

Mr Burns, who served as the US diplomatic liaison to NATO, said: We have seen some decisive steps by China of a type they hadn't taken before.

That is encouraging and it's what makes this visit by President Trump to Bejing so important at this stage of the North Korean crisis.

Combined with the President's speech in Seoul you can just feel the pressure ratcheting down just a little bit as diplomacy becomes more the centrepiece. The former ambassador praised President Donald Trump for convincing his Chinese counterpart that further pressure on North Korea would be beneficial to China.

But certainly, this period of lull gives us an indication that North Korea is also recalculating.. Experts fear Kim could make his biggest statement yet by firing the so-called "Juche bird" – a fearful H-bomb – during Mr Trump's visit to Asia.

North Korea frequently arranges its missile tests to coincide with major international meetings and the US President's visit could be the perfect opportunity for the rogue state.

Joshua Pollack of said North Korea could fire the weapon in a desperate show of force against the US and its allies. Mr Pollack said: North Korean leadership undoubtedly feels pushed into a corner.

The logical sequence of actions would be to start testing them to full range into the Pacific and then to use one for a live nuclear test if it is deemed necessary to convince America's leaders that a new reality has emerged.

Lung cancer patient story – follow-up with Kath - Duration: 2:22.

Running for me is therapy.

The simplicity of it,

it's just your running shoes and then it's you.

When you get in that rhythm

and you're looking at the sky, looking at the sea,

you just run.

And it makes such a difference mentally, as well as physically.

Two and a half years ago I was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer.

My first fear was obviously the danger to my life,

but also the danger to my fitness and my health.

Running makes such a big difference to my life, it always has done.

And to not have to stop, was very very precious indeed.

Having the option of targeted treatment

has transformed my ability to live my life the way I want to live it.

It's made every difference in the world.

I thought I had a matter of months left to live,

and through the last two and half years

I've competed in a few half marathons

and last year managed a full marathon,

slowly but surely!

Travel has always been important to me,

and I've been able to carry on doing that.

India, Sri Lanka, Kenya,

just carrying on the travel that I have always loved my whole of my life.

Targeted therapy can change the course of your diagnosis

and it becomes a condition to live with.

Looking back now to the start of this

two and half year journey with lung cancer,

it was really important to have the conversation

really early in my treatment pathway.

I started one targeted therapy

when I was first diagnosed, with great results,

and it has allowed me to start having another targeted treatment

to push chemotherapy a bit further away.

A diagnosis makes you feel weak,

and it makes you feel as though you're in no position to ask,

but just remember one thing:

just ask about targeted therapy and treatment sequencing,

because it changes the course of the rest of your life.

both and do I like to have a little bit of room when I'm playing like my last

two videos we were talking about the Vikings and Washington and see how

Seahawks and Arizona there wasn't that much room we're talking two points here

points there barely any room this we got a lot of play room easily under 44

because between these two teams 20 let's just round that up to 21 let's run that

Lush Cosmetics: Cleaning up plastic pollution with Ocean Legacy - Duration: 6:32.

- My name is Chloe Dubois,

and I am the co-founder of the Ocean Legacy Foundation.

(surf crashing)

(waves breaking)

(melancholy music builds)

We are teaching people about the effects

of plastic pollution on the marine environment.

We take groups of people out to incredibly remote locations

and clean up marine debris.

(outboard motor whirring)

(water sloshes)

(bags rustling)

(boat motor speeds up)

(bags crackling)

- [Taylor] Right now we're in Squitty Bay

Marine Provincial Park, in Lasqueti Island,

near the southern end.

Our mission was to come clean up the beaches

that were reported as hot spots.

- [Man] There's material all along here,

all along this coastline.

- I got involved with Ocean Legacy because they

do things a lot differently than most other groups

and I was really inspired.

I wanted to make time to help out

and spread the word of what they do here,

and capture what they do.

I see lots of videos, I see a lot of things

about the state of our ocean and our beaches and stuff,

but I wanted to see for myself.

At first glance, it's kind of like,

oh, this is a beautiful area,

classic west coast beach.

Then you look closer and closer

and you see how dirty they are.

(melancholy music)

- Let's roll it, eh?

- I can even... - Oh yeah we're good.

- [Taylor] Toothbrushes, plastics, metal,

scrap, rope, you name it,

but the worst that we've seen out here is styrofoam.

- This is a styrofoam pit, polystyrene material.

It's caused by large chunks of styrofoam

that wash up on the beach from docks

and basically break up and then you get these pits.

We've found pits that are close to two meters deep

along various shorelines.

Pretty nasty stuff, I mean,

once it breaks up you get millions

of these small pellets and they're

virtually impossible to remove from the environment.

Huge issue, not a lot of solutions

right now for this stuff, so, workin' on it.

(sorrowful music)

- These beautiful places, they mean something to me.

I really enjoy these places and I'd really

like to see them protected and cared for,

so when I arrive to these beaches and

just see them trashed and littered,

it really bothers me.

The more you dig, the more you find.

The more logs you lift up, the more you find.

It's just really sad.

(hopeful music)

- When people come on our expeditions,

it changes people's lives on such

a fundamental level, because they're able

to really see their impact in the world

and how their consumption affects the world directly.

Most people will vow to never use styrofoam again

or to change their plastic habits.

All these little changes in one person's life

can make such a big difference

if we all start doing that together.

(hopeful music)

May the angels of God surround and keep us safe; may we be careful to pray the Binding

Prayer to limit attacks against us.

Amen

Well, dear ones, we have a new binding prayer; a few things are different.

For one, we are now sending the demons to the feet of Jesus, and let Him decide what

to do with them.

He knows best.

And I've received a word from one of our intercessors that all ministries that have

been birthed under us are being targeted.

So, I want you to be encouraged.

If you have been hit really hard or feel like you can't stand the heat and have laid down

your calling, please let me encourage you—this binding prayer will really help.

I have shared with you many times how I want to give up, but thanks be to the Grace of

God, He helps me weather the temptation.

So please, if you have stumbled, pick yourself back up and grab hold of this binding prayer

and the hem of His garment—and let the demons have it.

Lord, I sense You want to speak to Your Bride.

Jesus began, "Do not be put off by discouragement.

It is only temporary, if you will press through to Me and call upon Me for help.

Fatigue, disappointment, opposition—all these things are merely smoke-screens to knock

you out of your calling.

I will help you if you will turn to Me wholeheartedly, and not rely on your feelings or senses, but

walk by Faith, fully persuaded that what I have given you to do, I have also equipped

you to do.

"This Channel and all its offshoots are targets for the enemy.

He is counting on your low self-esteem and self-opinion to stop you.

When you are humble, you are not counting on yourself but on Me, so that shouldn't

work for you—unless you are undertaking this work in Pride, in which case it was not

Me who gave it to you.

All of you will have to fight off temptations to Pride, but I chose you because you are

aware of your faults, that being the chief one.

"But if all you live for is to impress others, I did not give you an assignment.

That would put you in harm's way, lest you fall—seriously.

"The enemy is counting on your failures of the past to cause you to quit.

But you are here, now—and you have learned that with Me, all things are possible.

Cling to that, Beloved, cling to My omnipotence and you will be unstoppable.

"Get up now, dust yourself off and begin again.

We are doing this together.

You are not alone as you have seen yourself in the past.

I will carry you through to success if only you will put your complete trust in My Hands."

And that was the end of His message.

And I just wanted to thank those of you who have contributed to getting firewood and stoves

for the families here.

We're also sending them coats and boots—and some of you have sent long johns and all kinds

of neat things.

That's beautiful!

We'll put them to use, for sure.

I just don't think the Lord wants you going out and spending a whole bunch of money on

things.

I'm very reticent to encourage spending when Christmas is coming up, because that's when

we sin in the worst way—by putting all of out interest in accumulating goods instead

of all of our interest in the birth of the Lord and preparing our hearts for His birth.

So, I just wanted to let you know that we're moving along.

We've already delivered, I think, seven loads of firewood.

We've bought two woodturning stoves.

Valerie is helping me.

She's going to do some shopping for us, get some things for the Reservation and also for

Carson and the Mesa, for the poor families there.

And pretty soon we'll have some pictures to put up to show you.

So, to all of you who have contributed to that effort, and you've sent in donations,

know that we are putting that money into the poor.

And we're also paying electric bills.

So, the Lord is good.

We appreciate you so much.

We really love you, Family.

I love the way you lift one another up and are so kind to each other.

That's just priceless, absolutely priceless and beautiful.
