We're at a car meet

Last night Ryan asked me if I wanted to tag along with him

to one of his car meets in Santa

wait no. We're in San Clemente

It's pretty big

Usually when he asks me to go to a car meet

it's like 15 cars like a few people

but this thing is huge

There's some cool cars here

that he thinks. I have no clue

but he describes everything to me so

we're having a good time

ok, so we got hungry. We ate

it was good. Usually I don't like pretzels, but that was pretty good

this one is more interesting because the cars are

How To Seal Glass To Prevent Water Spots | Nissan Versa - Chemical Guys Car Care - Duration: 7:40.

Hi guys, welcome back to Chemical Guys.

I'm here in the Chemical Guys parking lot.

Fun fact, I hate the guy who drives this Buick.

Just a quick fun fact.

So as you can see we are going through one of the coldest winters we've ever had here

in California.

It's a brisk 74 degrees, I don't know how I'm going to do it.

I'm wearing black!

I just wanted to show you my car, I'll be cleaning the glass.

This is my Nissan Versa, it is a beautiful car.

I'm going to be using the Signature Series Glass Cleaner followed with a Clay Block treatment

and top it off with JetSeal.

So lets get started.

So real quick I'm going to be using the two towel method to clean the glass.

All you have to do is spray the area you are cleaning then using one towel wipe off the

bulk and follow that with a fresh towel to buff off excess.

Lets get all this dirt off all this contamination.

In one motion going in straight lines, no circles and we'll roll with it.

Just like that you can already see that it has left it crystal clear.

Now follow it up with a second towel so there aren't any streaks left behind.

Same thing working in one motion and you can really see the difference.

From clean to dirty.

If you guys want to follow me, I'm going to do the whole car.

Lets clean this baby up!

I lied earlier about the winter thing, it is actually pretty darn hot out here.

Wearing black wasn't a good idea.

BECAUSE IT"S THE TWO TOWEL METHOD!

If you guys are paying attention right now, that's the rotors guy talking.

He doesn't know how to clean his own windows so I like the two towel method because it

insures no streaks.

If you guys want to leave a comment below and bash the rotors guy, be my guest.

Flip it to a new side instead of using the same dirty side the whole time.

This will also prevent scratching the glass.

Same thing as the paint.

Again in one motion.

You can see it has a lot of filth and contamination being removed.

If you are wondering what I'm going to have for lunch, I'm going to eat waffles today.

The chocolate chip waffles I like to add blueberry syrup and mix it in with butter pecan.

In case you guys are thinking of eating some waffles today.

Look at all that dirt that came off with that last wipe.

No streaks and just like that the rear window is clean so that I can see where I've been.

So now that it is all clean we are going to clay it to get rid of all the embedded contaminants

so that when we apply the JetSeal it is a true bond between the glass, not the contamination.

So lets grab our Clay Block and a fresh towel.

Definitely want to use lubrication, spraying the block and the surface.

It must be completely lubricated or else it can scratch.

Make sure that it is completely lubricated.

Just a couple sprays here and where you are going to clay.

Again working in straight lines getting rid of all the contaminants.

If you hear it sounds rough, that's it pulling out the grime.

It is kinda hot out here so you want to make sure it is completely lubricated so that is

why I keep spraying it.

I don't want to scratch it.

Now with your towel just buff off the excess.

One last wipe down and quick buff.

Now that I'm finished claying it, it' s ready to be sealed with JetSeal and I'll be good

for up to 12 months.

Grab a blue microfiber applicator pad and JetSeal.

Give it a gentle shake.

You don't need too much because a little goes a long way.

Two or three lines.

There we go, it looks like Wolverine clawed it.

Blotch it out over the area that you are applying it to.

I only need three lines to cover the entire window.

Leave it on for about fifteen to twenty minutes to let it truly bond and cure.

I think the cops are here for me since this actually isn't my car...

That's a joke.

We're gonna leave it and let it cure to the glass and then we can buff it off.

Just like that I'm done!

Hyundai is going all-in on the connected car concept, making Blue Link standard across all 2018 models including the Accent, with the monthly service included for three years.

At AutoMobility L.A., the company launched Blue Link All-Access powered by Smartcar—a connected car services company based in Mountain View, California, that aims to be an app store for your car.

All-Access will partner with California-based companies to bring various connected-car services to market.

One such company is WashOS, a mobile car washing and detailing service currently launching in L.A.

and the San Francisco Bay Area.

The promo clip showed a young office employee arriving at work in his filthy and trashed Ioniq, just as a text arrived reminding him he needed to drive the boss to the airport at noon.

No problem! After a moment's fiddling with his phone, WashOS was booked to come to his office parking lot, wash the exterior and be granted temporary access to the interior.

Our slob hero is alerted when the car is unlocked by WashOS and again when the car is securely locked and the job is complete.

This ability to grant access for entry and operation of the car also now powers a fleet of WaiveCar Hyundai Ioniq EVs in Santa Monica, California (this service grants free access to an EV for up to two hours, paid for by copious advertising on the outside of the car).

These and other innovations are being incubated at the company's newly opened Silicon Valley-based Hyundai Cradle.
