Dungeon Mini Kickstarter Trailer - Duration: 3:27.

In Dungeon Mini

the player stands between a board gaming experience

in which they walk through several rooms and perform short and stressful actions

And a real-time video game

in which they can see the results of the actions they take

while handling the miniatures

So this is really a hybrid kind of game

In Dungeon Mini there is no joypad

The miniature is the joystick

This means that you will just have to put the mini on the tablet

and here you go

So you can play an Elf

and obviously, as an Elf you will throw arrows directly from your mini

If you play a Dwarf you will directly fight with your axe

In the game so far we have two playing characters

the Dwarf who is small, sturdy and strong and carries a huge axe

allowing him to slaughter the monsters

on the one hand an Elf who is more agile, but also more fragile

who shoots arrows at a distance

which makes it possible for her to kill monsters who are a little further

Each character has a type of weapon

and for each weapon we have an associated handling which is different for each character

For example the Dwarf has an axe allowing him to make close combat attacks

Whereas the Elf has arrows allowing her to make ranged attacks

And in fact, we would like to add other characters

like a spell-casting wizard and a thief who sets traps and bombs

this would allow us to bring more variety and fun into the game

Originally, Dungeon Mini was born out of a meeting between Cedric Littardi and me

We wanted to make use of the object tracking technology of touch screens

in order to use minis on tablet

And as we both come from the world of video games board games and role-playing games

we wanted to create the first real-time board game

From this moment on we started imagining a classic heroic fantasy scenario

And for this we needed a charismatic big bad guy

Maleferus

Maleferus is an horrible character who changed all the adventurers who dared defy him into statues

The most amazing thing in Dungeon Mini

is the ability for the player to breathe their own energy into the game through their mini

in order to give life to the hero who will face in real time all perils in the dungeon

And that is a real good experience.

Each player has special abilities according to their nature

In order to defeat Maleferus

the player will also have to draw runes

on their tablet to cast spells and solve puzzles

Presently Dungeon Mini is in an advanced prototype status

It shall work on all 7 inches and more tablet

both in iOS and Android environments

You will find the game in a box containing some miniatures and cards for the monsters and the characters

And, thanks to you and your support we can even consider multi-player gaming.

- So let's take a look at how I grip

my putters, mids, and drivers.

With the driver, I have a little bit

of a modified fan grip, I say.

It's kind of like a power grip, but the way

my fingers line up is still on the flight plate

as well as the rim here.

I really mash down wit my thumb

and I put as much pressure there as I can

to make sure the disk is ripping out of my hand

and I'm not letting it go.

Any driver shot that I throw is really with this same grip

and I hang on as tight as I can.

With the midrange I almost always power grip

a midrange with the same grip, power grip,

modified fan grip, whatever you want to call it.

There are times and scenarios in which I might loosen up

and have a bit of fan grip but if it's I'm throwing

not too hard and I'm just trying to get a gentle skip shot

or something with a justice so.

Most of the time though I'm gonna be hanging

on pretty tight with the power grip.

That's my natural grip for a putter.

I like to keep this underneath the top rim,

just so I don't get stuck on my pointer finger.

I like to keep it underneath and it's a supporting point.

And then these fingers are fanned out comfortably.

And if I'm throwing a putter off the tee or for an upshot

which I do pretty often, I'll still grip it the same way

and I'll put with it the same way as well.

I do occasionally power grip but there is

a lot of room for error there, it's easy to just hang

on to it too hard so I try not to do that often, generally.

And then actual like tightness of a grip on the putter,

it's pretty loose, you're really relying on the snap

from your wrist and letting it just come out

when it wants to.

Im Mathew Carlin and I am 17years old and I have been working with Ben for about 4 years now started

I started playing basketball since around the age of 6 not competitively obviously just shooting around and stuff like that now I am 17 years old and I'm

playing for the varsity team at Jamesville dewitt high school I've been taking private

lessons with Ben about 4 years now you know once I get laced up and all that I usually

go through a dynamic warmup and we'll do some form shooting and then he'll just tell me

what we are doing for the day like what skills we are working on a lot of it is just speeding

up my release with my shot making sure I am always squared up to the basket and he has

been showing me some more advanced moves lately he's worked a lot with my confidence i think

thats been the number 1 thing is getting me to be a more confident player and just developing skills and making them more second nature and stuff like that

off the court Ben has helped me with my confidence overall and making me a more attentive person

to every little detail and I feel like I am always willing to learn something new I would

describe his program that is very welcoming to everyone he's very accepting of all different

types of people and he can adjust his training to what you need to do to become a better basketball player

First rule of IC, when possible always stay hidden.

Large AoE attack with stun. Block or avoid.

Rune minefield, it will melt you, must get away from asap.

Adds spawn, time based.

The channelled missiles are not hitting hard but if you can interrupt.

Meteor storm. Medicore damage.

Frontal attack, walk away, keep turned away from allies.

Combos like that can be deadly = minefield + meteor + smash

Another add spawn. They will be using attacks like negate, ice ring (heavy damage if you stay on the edge).

Lol rip snowy. Run!

On death Molag Bal explodes with massive sized AoE with significant damage (~20k). Most of DPS must run away or shield up, tanks can just eat it.

Right after explosion when you are stunned is the favourite moment of gankers to backstab you. Stay alert!

Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary, New Bioware IP Announced | Yesterday's Games Today – 1/31/17 - Duration: 8:17.

Hey, fellow nerds.

Max here, and welcome back to another episode of Yesterday's Games Today.

The show that scours the news so you don't have to!

Yesterday was the biggest day in news since I started this.

So it's the biggest in five days.

Starting off, another trailer for Sniper Elite 4 has dropped.

This is that series that goes into /extreme/ detail on the damage you cause when sniping

someone.

It has a decent following and always reviews okay from what I know.

The game is releasing on February 14th.

The mobile Animal Crossing game has been delayed out of the early part of 2017 and into the

next fiscal year - which is from this April to March of next year.

The delay is apparently to "accommodate the releases and operation of Fire Emblem

Heroes and Super Mario Run on Android."

Well, I guess out of all the weird shit Nintendo does, this leans more towards the less weird

side of things.

Yesterday was the 30th anniversary of the Final Fantasy series.

It was announced that the remake of Final Fantasy 12, entitled The Zodiac Age, is releasing

on July 11th.

Not only is it an HD remaster, but will also feature revamped mechanics.

Cool!

I haven't played any of the FF games except for XV, but I have 6 and 7 waiting for me

in my Steam library.

Maybe i'll have them finished by the time this game comes out.

Let's be real I probably won't though, which is sad but real.

We also learned that XV's first DLC, Episode Gladio, will be releasing on March 28th, and

that Episode Prompto will be coming in June.

We are still unsure of when Episode Ignus or the 4 player co-op is coming, but it will

be here at some point.

On the weirder side of things, we are also getting Power Rangers inspired exo-suits for

our favorite four guys.

These suits will make you invincible for 30 minutes before needing a 24 hour recharge

time.

That's a lot of stuff, but for some reason we have no news of any Final Fantasy collection

coming, which is what lots of fans were expecting.

Maybe later on this week.

Epic Games announced a new Paragon hero, Aurora.

She is characterized as a rusher, burst attacker, and a zoner.

Paragon is currently in open beta on PS4 and PC.

Here's a question for you - what launched in 2012, and was killed instantly when the

Switch was announced?

The WiiU!

The console has officially been discontinued as of yesterday.

The system was a commercial failure, even though it had some pretty solid games like

Smash 4, Mario Kart 8, and Splatoon.

Luckily most of the ones worth playing are being ported over to the Switch at some point,

so not all is lost.

Developers of our beloved Ratchet and Clank, Insomniac Games, spoke out against Trump's

immigration ban yesterday.

In a YouTube video, CEO Ted Price states: "We at Insomniac Games stand united in strongly

opposing President Trump's immigration ban.

There's no question that these orders will harm us as a company and many of our team

members.

So we ask 'Is this the American way?

Is discriminating based on religious faith or national origin American?'

Absolutely not.

This is a deplorable, discriminatory act that we and many others across the nation believe

is patently unconstitutional.

We have been, we are and we will always be a nation of immigrants."

I have no desire to get political on this show, as it's about the games, but I think

it's important that we as gamers stand together and help out those in need.

Insomniac didn't have to say anything, but they chose to and I think we should respect

them for that.

In other heavy news, albeit in a very different way, the producer of the upcoming Zelda game

revealed that it would be "impossible to 100% the game in a week".

I really have a hard time believing this.

They keep touting how big this Zelda game is, but this makes it seem like one of the

biggest games to ever release.

Of course, I hope i'm wrong, but I can't imagine this game being longer than say, 60

hours at maximum.

We will know for sure on March 3rd when the Switch launches and reviews come out.

A new Need for Speed game is coming sometime before March next year.

This will be the first new game since the reboot of the series back in 2015, which only

received average reviews.

Maybe this new game will be the one to bring the series back to it's former glory.

Super Mario Run got an easy mode yesterday in a free update.

The new mode removes the risk of death as well as time limits to allow players to play

stress-free.

Toad Rally is also getting a nerf.

When losing the mode, you will lose less Toad collectibles than beforehand.

I don't really know what that means but it sounds good, so those playing the game

- enjoy!

The Elder Scrolls Online is getting a big update in the form of Morrowind.

The new content will include all key points of interest from the original Morrowind game,

and it will be around 30 hours of content.

The expansion is releasing June 6th, and will be $40.00.

On March 29th, the classic MMO, Club Penguin, will be shutting down for good.

Members will no longer be charged for their status, and no new memberships can be made.

There will be on official send off party on February 1st.

So right now as you're watching this.

It's live.

Go fucking party in fucking Club Penguin before it fucking closes down.

The game is being replaced by something called "Club Penguin Island", which will be a

mobile experience.

That's all we know.

I played Club Penguin alongside Maplestory for a long time when I was really young.

I have great memories with the game and am honestly a bit saddened by the news.

I wish the developers the best of luck in the future, and I thank them for affecting

my childhood the way they did.

Pokémon Sun and Moon's third global mission is now live.

Everyone has to trade a total of 1 million Pokémon by February 14th.

We'll see if this actually happens, as the previous two missions we pretty big failures.

Those being either catch 100 million total Pokémon as the first event, and catch one

million Pokémon as the second event.

Maybe since this event requires almost zero effort, it will actually be accomplished.

Bioware has announced that it will be launching an entirely new series by March 2018.

All of these stories are about March 2018 why is that the date everyone says to launch

by?

Jesus guys, get your predictions in check.

Anyways, the game is going to be action-adventure instead of an RPG which is really intriguing

actually!

I'd like to see how Bioware handles a non RPG.

They have been working on this new IP since 2012, so we can be sure that it's as fleshed

out as all of their other universes.

If you haven't transferred your GTA V character over from the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions yet,

you only have a month left to do so.

As of March 6th, the service will no longer be available.

The next NBA Live game has been delayed to Fall of this year.

The game was supposed to come out sometime between January and March, but not anymore.

Also if I have to read March out loud one more time I'm going to kill myself.

Oh, they said a new UFC game is coming too.

DICE's Star Wars Battlefront II is going to be getting normal features when it releases

this holiday season.

It's kinda sad that we live in a time where having a campaign is newsworthy, but hey that's

where we are.

The game will have a single-player campaign, will include content from multiple eras including

The Force Awakens and Rogue One, and will feature a bunch of new stuff.

Imagine that: A sequel brings along more stuff.

Truly innovative.

Ubisoft announced the open beta dates for their upcoming medieval game "For Honor".

It starts on February 9th and will include four modes.

Elimination, Brawl, Duel, and The Dominion.

It will run until February 12th.

Two days beforehand, on the 7th, Ubisoft will be hosting a Twitch stream of the game and

will be bringing on actors and actresses for some reason.

Including Jason Mamoa from Game of Thrones.

I have nothing to say on the subject.

For some reason, the other day, EA's community manager decided to send a tweet that said

nothing except Skate 4.

And it was hash-tagged.

He knows we all want it.

Hell, everyone in gaming knows we all want it.

So we got excited, fuck us, right?

Well yesterday EA revealed that they are in fact not making a Skate 4 right now.

What the actual fuck?

Why did he do that?

This is such a stupid situation.

There isn't even an apology.

Just that they aren't making it.

Fuck EA.

I am genuinely angry while writing this right now.

Well on that asinine note, that's the end of yesterday's news.
