Hi, everyone! How is it going? Today I'm already
back in Brasília. And I'm here today
to talk a bit about the actions that
Trump took until now, especially
regarding external policy. The first one is:
He took the U.S. out of the TPP. For us here in
Brazil, this is a very good thing.
This deal was made to stop the BRICS,
which is a block composed by Brazil,
Russia, India, China and South Africa. And
it was actually the U.S. that proposed the
deal, so it was the main country in it.
And having the US out of it is just
perfect for the BRICS. Some of you may
say that is because he is friends with
Putin and Putin might have convinced
him otherwise, but I don't think that was
the case. Anyway, this is a very good
thing to the BRICS,
although to Brazil it is a good thing
and it isn't at the same time. I mean, the
new president here, Michel Temer, he's
like not exactly a very big fan of the BRICS,
especially because it was proposed by
the other government, the one that was
impeached. So to Brazil, that doesn't
change much. To Russia is a very good
thing, though. I don't see any way in
which the US would benefit from
withdrawing from the TPP. Trump
probably just did that because it was
proposed by Obama, so it's much more of a
political game than an economic one. But
that's not smart for the US. Really. And now the
wall. The infamous wall that Trump
promised on his
campaign and that not all people were
convinced that he was actually going to
build it. He actually stated that he plans
on doing that and yeah I think he signed
an executive order, I'm not exactly sure of
what he did, but he did something
regarding that and saying that he would
build the wall, and then he also stated that
Mexico would pay for the wall and
Enrique Peña Nieto, the President of
Mexico, said: "No, Mexico is not going to
pay for the wall" and then Trump said "If
Mexico is not going to pay for the wall,
then you can cancel the official trip
that you have to the US". That's exactly
what he did, the
mexican president is not going to the US
anymore. And this only shows how the
relations between Mexico and the US are
going to be from now on. Mexico is now
trying to build a better relationship
with the European Union because you know, the
European Union was attacked by Trump and
you know that saying: the enemy of my enemy
is my friend.
That's basically what Mexico is doing
with the European Union. Another thing
that Trump did but that's not actually
going to have much of an effect, at least
I hope so, is the military expansion. He released an
order... He released an order authorizing an
increase on the amount expended on the
military, showing the world that he
wants to grow the armed forces of the US,
saying that no one is supposed to have
superiority upon us...
I don't really think that this going to
happen, but who knows? It's Trump. You see, all the things
that I've just showed were things
that we could expect from Trump. I mean,
he said a few of them during the
elections, and although some people think
he wouldn't do it, it's not a surprise
that he made it. But this certainly is:
for those of you who don't know, he banned
for, I don't know, 60 or 120 days, I don't
know, citizens from Iraq, Iran, Sudan, Syria,
Libya, Somalia and Yemen from entering
the United States, even they have a visa.
I mean... What's wrong with this guy? Really.
I wasn't even supposed to do that
here on this channel, but I've never seen
someone that stupid.
I mean, in case you don't know,
no national from any of these
countries is responsible for any
terrorist attack in the U.S. Most of
them were actually caused by US citizens,
even if they were dual citizens with
another country. Even the most conservative
parts of the US are against it. And this is
probably the most stupid thing that I've
seen a head of state doing regarding
immigration. One of the fun things
though, and I'm saying fun because I
can't say sad or disappointing or
terrifying, is that citizens of Syria who
actually have a US visa can't go to the
country anymore, but the US military is
present in Syria, especially in Syrian
airspace without even a permission from
the government, and I mean... What the hell?
Really, what is the U.S. thinking? That
they own the world?
I mean, that's not exactly what the US
thinks, at least I want to believe that most
of the US doesn't believe in that, but
that's certainly what Trump thinks. And
I'm sorry, but I'm starting to think that
he's not going to finish his government.
I mean, yes, most of the Congress is
Republican, but remember, he is not
exactly a Republican, he just entered the
party so that you could have chances of
winning the election. And people are
already starting to speak about
impeachment, although we need to
be very careful with impeachment
procedures. In Brazil, we had one recently,
last year, and it was very very controversial
here and even though you don't like
Trump, it is necessary to have all the
requirements for an impeachment procedure filled.
It shouldn't be possible for people
to impeach a president just because they
don't like him.
Although it is an indirect system,
Donald Trump was elected, he was
democratically elected, so he can't be
taken out of the presidency just like
that. But yes i'm starting to think that he
is not going to finish his government.
That's it, I mean, any other madness that
happens in the US administration, you can
be sure that I will upload videos about that. And
I'm starting to think that Donald Trump is
going to give me a lot of material for
this channel. Bye bye, doubts on the comments.
