The Something Wicked Destiny Review | BEST Legendary Rocket Launcher #Destiny - Duration: 4:57.

Remember that the Ash Factory was the best legendary rocket launcher in the Crucible?

Well let me tell you that there is a very under rated Rocket Launcher that is even better

than the Ash Factory and that is the Something Wicked

[intro]

Welcome back guardians, today I have a very special video for you.

We are going to talk about the best legendary rocket launcher in the game right now which

to my surprise hasn't got much love yet from the community.

I am talking about the Rocket Launcher the Something Wicked which can be obtained from

Crucible weapon packages and by playing the crucible

The Something Wicked has the two things you want from a good rocket launcher which is

an high blast radius for more destruction and an high velocity so your target cant escape

your rocket and this rocket launcher has both!

The Something Wicked has a near maxed out Blast Radius and a relatively high velocity

and if this sounds familiar to you , you are correct because basically we are looking at

a duplicate of the famous Ash Factory which is know for the same stats.

I have to be honest, the Something Wicked does not have the same awesome look as the

Ash Factory but let me tell you it is even better than the Ash Factory.

Let me pull up the base stats for both rocket launchers and for comparison sake I have added

the Exotic Truth Rocket Launcher as well.

The Something Wicked has the same blast radius as the Ash Factory but it has slightly better

stats.

The Velocity is slightly higher, the Reload speed is higher and more importantly it holds

one more additional rocket.

This is a big deal as this was the biggest weakness of the Ash Factory to hold only one

rocket, which means you need to reload after each shot and that will make you vulnerable

for enemy fire, when you are caught up in a reload.

Now we have dealt with the base stats lets deep dive into my Something Wicked.

And I have to say I got very lucky with my drop.

My Something Wicked is a God Roll Rocket Launcher, with a maxed out Blast Radius and Velocity

and it has Grenades and horsehoes.

Lets go through the perks, it has : Warhead verniers

Smart Drift Control Hard Launch

Grenadier Last Resort

Snapshot Javelin

And Grenades and Horseshoes

For the God Roll Something Wicked you want to max out Blast Radius and Velocity.

So you want to have Warhead Verniers or Hard Launch and Javelin for this.

You might be wondering what the difference is between Warhead Verniers and Hard Launch

as these look exactly the same, which it is …. the only difference is that Warhead Verniers

has a sliver of more velocity which you wont notice in practise.

So either one of them is fine.

And Of Course the God Roll wont be complete without Grenades and horseshoes.

As you can see I also have grenadier which is a great all round perk, the other perk

that might improve this even more is to have Spray and Play to increase the reload speed.

But I am happy with the current roll that I have.

If you are looking to get one as well you can play the crucible and you can get this

as a reward by completing crucible matches or you can get it from a Weapon package by

leveling up your crucible rank.

I don't often mention that a particular gun is the best, but this is truly the best

Rocket launcher out there that you can have right now.

Period.

It hits hard and it will hit you fast and that is all you want from a rocket launcher,

also the fact that this is a legendary weapon means that this frees up an exotic slot for

your primary or secondary.

So what are the alternatives for the short term while you are looking for the god roll

Something Wicked?

The exotic Truth or Gjallarhorn are the obvious alternatives.

In terms of legendaries the readily available Rocket launchers would be the Warpath from

Future War Cult, which has the same blast radius but a significant lower velocity and

it has Tracking instead of Grenades and horsehoes the second option would be the Dead Orbit

Unto Dust Rocket launcher which does have Grenades and Horseshoes but it only has a

mediocre base stats in terms of blast radius and velocity but this can increased slightly

with Hard Launch and Javelin which comes straight out of the box.

Or when Iron Banner is around you should try to get your hands on the Titanium Orchid which

has great base stats and the advantage of this one is that it always comes with either

Tracking or Grenades and Horseshoes.

So that brings us to the end of the video.

The Something wicked is simply the best legendary rocket launcher out there that you can get

right now.

Smash School: Advanced (ft. Armada, Hbox, PewPewU, Shroomed and SFAT) - Duration: 5:08.

PewPewU: The first thing about the wavedash is

you have to be off the ground so, you know,

you can jump and right after you leave

the ground, you use your air dodge

and you aim it anywhere on the ground as well,

so that can be down, diagonal-left, diagonal-right,

all that stuff.

When you do those in combination

your character will slide

and [you're] pretty much free to use any of your

ground attacks or move out of it, so it's a

really good way to just move forward or

move back or even stop your movement

and cut an attack.

Wavedashing just

enables a lot of strategies in Smash,

so, for instance, like for Fox

it leads to kills.

For lots of other characters,

it can lead to that little

micro-spacing.

Sometimes it's hard

to move one step back in Smash because

when you take a -- when you move backwards

your character model will actually turn around.

Smash is a unique fighting game

in the way that you're not always facing

your opponent, so wavedash will allow

you to keep facing forward and take just

a baby step back and re-adjust.

Shroomed: Shield dropping is when you're shielding

on a platform and someone hits your

shield and you can do this input -

shield dropping - to where you will drop

your shield and fall through the platform and

you can immediately do an aerial out of your shield.

So it's a really strong technique

because it lets you retaliate from a

defensive position.

Back in the day before

we discovered it, you're just kind of in

a bad spot on the platform and you just

wanted to kind of get out of the

situation as fast as possible.

I mean, you still want to

do that even with shield dropping,

because people have adjusted,

but it's just given you a lot more freedom

on the platform.

Commentator: Speaking of shield drops...

Yeah.

SFAT: The shine is

Fox's down B

and it reflects projectiles,

like Samus missiles

lasers, turnips... but what it also --

what it's mostly used for is

when you hit an opponent,

depending on the opponent,

depending on their weight,

they'll either fall down to the shine

in which you can get like a jab reset

or some sort of tech chase follow-up.

Or... they don't fall down to shine, in which case,

you can wavedash, and you can grab them

up-smash them,

attack them in some certain way.

So, the shine is like a combo extender.

SFAT: The shine is like the greatest gimp

tool that is probably in the game.

SFAT: You know, if you shine someone off the stage

they're most likely going to die.

Commentator: Awww....

Armada: Camping or defensive play, I think

camping is when you want to avoid

interaction with the other player as much

as possible so you're like shooting

projectiles and even if you might have

like an opening that could result in

something, you still decide to stay back.

It's hard to define and I feel like every

person and every player they have like

different opinions on what defines

defensive game and what defines camping.

So, I guess, a lot of people play

defensive some people play campy

overall it's probably more towards defensive.

They like, they prefer to go back,

but they go in sometimes.

Commentator: Alright, you know that Hungrybox

can take this stock at any percent ---

OHH AND HE DOES IT!

Armada: With the way the meta game progressed

slow characters, they might get out-camped or

like the other one plays very defensive.

I feel like every top player I've played against

in tournament, they all start to like

play very defensive against me.

There's no exceptions.

No exceptions.

Hbox: L-Canceling is simply when

your character does an aerial and as you're

falling down with the aerial you go into

someone's shield or to fall into someone --

It's like an approach, like a normal in Street Fighter,

It's when you

input an L-Cancel, it makes it so

you can get up from that move faster.

So there's much less recoil.

So, in some ways, like Fox, for instance,

he can do a bunch of aerials into your shield and

you won't be able to grab him.

Because he can do an aerial,

like a drill, L-Cancel it and

then immediately go into a shine or another move,

or a grab himself.

So L-Canceling is a very...

It's like the segue from one move to another.

And it allows for a much faster,

more efficient play.

I guess so I could put it.

And it's absolutely a hundred-

thousand percent completely necessary,

in high-level Melee.

There's no 'ifs', 'ands' or 'buts' about it.

You need to L-Cancel.
