6 EUROPEAN Tuner Cars You Can Easily Turn Into Supercar Slayers - Duration: 10:02.Well I did say if the Japanese tuner cars video performed well I might consider creating
one for European and American tuners.
Well here's the European version.
I want to thank my Instagram followers for suggesting some of the cars featured on this
list, and if you're following me yet we'll go drop me a follow that way you can participate
when I need suggestions.
Real quick guys before the video begins, give me a few seconds, don't click away.
Some of you have been asking when will I release merchandise for the channel well that time
is now.
I partnered with Bonfire to create limited time only merchandise in celebration of 50K
subscribers here on Vehicle Virals.
It's so common to find all my viewers arguing in the comment section about which car is
better, which inspired me to create this design "All Cars Matter".
Essentially diversity for cars.
I worked very hard to make this happen and I hope you all like it.
Link will be in the description section below if you're interested in supporting the channel
by purchasing something.
The merchandise will only be available for 10 days and then it's gone, so if you're interested
act fast.
First European tuner car on the list is the Volkswagen Golf R32.
When you think of Hot hatch it's almost impossible not to think of the R32.
Straight from factory it came with a lowered suspension, beefier brakes, deep front spoiler,
bigger rear bumper and equipped with twin exhausts.
Performance delivery is one of it's strong suits.
It's not what the R32 does, but how it does it.
Unlike the modern turbocharged Golf R the R32 comes equipped with a 3.2L VR6 naturally
aspirated engine.
And for those that weren't aware yes, it carried a V6, a 15 degree v angle for space
saving.
Fully stock it produces 240HP and 236lb-ft of torque, which pushes the R32 from 0-60
in around 5.8 seconds.
Back in 2004 that was amazing, as a comparison moden Volkswagen GTIs performs about the same
0-60.
The R32 definitely was ahead of it's time and made all that power without being turbocharged.
Which explains why so many owners are able to get so much out of this hatch by adding
a turbo or supercharger.
Add the fact that torque is available almost from idle and remains strong all the way to
it's 6500 rpm redline.
They say classics live forever, and this hatch is definitely iconic.
It was only available in the United States for on year, and now , well it's a classic.
Only 500 units were shipped to the U.S making the R32 hard to come across.
And if you do manage to find one, I'm almost certain you won't find it stock.
untouched, well preserved ones are practically museums pieces, garage queens, you know the
ones owners feel guilty driving.
Modern Golf Rs are also great tuner choices as they do come turbocharged, allowing you
to unlock power at a relatively low cost.
Next car is the Audi B5 S4.
The slightly spicier version of the first generation A4.
First available in Europe before making it's way to the US a few years later.
For whatever reason us Americans always seem to get some of the best performance cars late.
My guess is that the S4 didn't meet the strict federal emissions regulations enforced
here in the US.
Sure the S4 has lots of potential tuning wise but prepare to show it some attention.
The S4 does not handle neglect very well.
Honestly, it's not that difficult.
Just spend all your time and money on it and you'll be fine.
All jokes aside the S4 is one beast of a car.
For many Audi Enthusiasts there is no car more iconic than the S4.
Upgrade the small K03 turbos for the K04s used in the Audi RS4 and the motor can handle
anything you throw at it thanks to it's The 2.7L twin turbo V6 that came with forged
internals from the factory.
With just the turbo upgrades it's not unheard of the S4 making 480HP with completely stock
internals.
If you're not looking for supercar slaying power you can leave the engine untouched and
go for a more budget option.
A stage one tune that can yield lots of power within a matter of minutes.
You'll be able to get an additional 65HP and the best part it won't require additional
supporting modifications.
This is indeed one of the best german tuner cars of all time right next to it's competition
at the time the e36 BMW M3.
Which one would you rather own?
Next car is the Volvo 850 T5/T5R.
Sure, slaying a super car with a fast car is cool and all, but doing it with a car that
has no business going fast is so much sweeter.
In other words, if you're looking for sleeper that has massive tuning potential, well then
look no further.
The Volvo 850 T5 is the perfect choice.
And honestly they aren't too hard to come across since when Volvo designed them with
a lifespan of 500K miles in mind.
It's no secret old Volvos were built to last.
Performance wise the 2.5L turbo engine found in the 850 T5 produces 225HP while the T5R
produces slightly more HP.
Volvo doesn't typically tune their vehicles to maximize performance, which is where the
tunining potential comes into play.
Keeping the stock turbocharger equipped with the T5 you're able to get around 300HP with
proper tuning.
But many owners advise against that since you'll be pushing the turbo to it's limit
as it can only handle up to 15 psi's and will wear out much faster.
If you're looking for an insane sleeper then upgrading the stock turbo to the 18T
or 19T turbo is a must.
Combine that with the large amounts of aftermarket tuning parts available for the 850 T5 and
the sky is the limit.
Choose the modifications wisely and you can easily have a supercar chaser.
Some of you might remember the reactions the 850 Wagon got during the British Touring Car
Championship, 2 of them were entered into the race.
You can see them taking curves on two wheels, You know Volvo was just going for attention
with this stunt.
4th european tuner car is the BMW 335i (N54 engine).
And for those that haven't been around since the beginning of my channel, I actually own
an e93 BMW 335i myself.
So of course I'm being biased by including this car on the list.
Kidding, Well not really biased, the truth is the BMW 335i is bursting with tuning opportunity.
Popularity has grown in recent years for the 355i platform since they are so much easier
to find at an inexpensive price.
Whether you decide to go with the earlier models equipped with the N54 engine or the
later N55 model you'll be able to get big HP gains with minimum effort.
A simple stage 1 JB4 piggyback tune can get you nearly 100HP with stock internals.
Think about that for a second.
The 335i already comes stock with 300HP and 300lb-ft of torque and for less than $500
you can gain an additional 100HP?
Sign me up!
Take it a little further by installing a bigger intercooler, downpipe, charge pipe, a dual
cone intake along with a stage 2 tune and you'll be well in super car performance
territory.
I personally know some tuners pushing 700WHP, which I tend not to take a ride in since I
don't want to die.
Unlike other high end performance sports cars where reliability can be an issue when it
comes to finding replacement parts the N54 engine found in the BMW 335i was featured
in many other BMW Vehicles starting from year 2007, making replacement parts much more accessible
and fairly inexpensive.I might start modding 335i soon and introducing it to the channel.
Maybe like a transformation series, let's what I do.
Let me know in the comment section below if that's something you guys would love to
see.
Next car is the Saab 9-3 Aero, I believe it's the fastest accelerating car Saab has ever
built, correct me if I'm wrong.
It's engine does produce some impressive power.
It carries a 2.8L turbo 6 that produces 250HP and 250lb-ft of torque.
The best part about the torque is that it peaks at a relatively low rpm giving the driver
massive pulling power across all all speed ranges.
And just like Volvo, the engine equipped in the 9-3 Aero is heavily under utilized and
it appears to be able to handle much more boost then it comes with.
A J2W or Vtuner stage one tune can get the 9-3 aero to 320HP and 409lb-ft of torque.
That's a gain of 70HP and 151lb-ft off of a simple tune that'll only cost you a few
hundred bucks.
But of course I'm sure I speak for most car enthusiasts when I say we want more!
Well at least that's always the case when you modify your car, increasing performance
becomes addicting.
Upgrade the instake, injectors, turbo, clutch, downpipe and mid pipe and you'll havel more
power than recommended for a front wheel drive car, as torque steer starts to become an issue.
Over 400HP to be exact.
You'll have that while still looking stylish.
I personally like the look of the 9-3 Aero, it has a design that doesn't resemble those
of other cars.
It's a shame Saab doesn't exist in the Automotive industry anymore, I really do think
if they made a return they would do quite well.
6th and final European tuner car is the R56 Mini Cooper S. I'll get this out of the
way first.
Straight line speed wise It'll be extremely hard to get a Mini Cooper to keep up a with
a supercar but when it comes to tuning one specifically for handling, it can compete.
This well engineered car was re introduced by BMW back in 2001 and surprisingly sold
very well.
It was perfect for those that wanted a car that was very fun to drive while being packaged
with retro style design.
Unlike the Copper S released before 2006 the R56 ditched the supercharger in favor for
a fuel eficient turbocharger that surprisingly produced more power.
The R56 Cooper S came equipped with with a 1.6L 4cyl turbo engine that produced 173HP
and 177lb-ft of torque.
While that might not sound like a lot, remember the Cooper S is a very small car, that feels
like a go cart when driving.
There is one thing many owners do complain about the cooper S, and that is that it makes
a terrible car for long distance driving because of it's tight suspension tuning from factory.
Can you imagine how much worse it gets once you decide to tune it?
Anways if you like retro looking cars, well the Mini is one of the best, and it's arguably
one of the most fun cars to drive from this list.
Remember guys if you're interested in purchasing my limited time only merch, link will be in
the description.
Not only will it help support my channel but you'll also own a pretty sweet t-shirt.
Like always if you enjoyed the video make sure to hit that like button and if you haven't
already make sure to subscribe that way you don't miss my next upload.
What European tuner cars do you think I missed out on, comment below and let me know what
that is.
As always thanks for watching, till next time

The Big Problem with 4 Cylinder Car Engines - Duration: 5:01.rev up your engines, Gonzalez says Scotty why do four-cylinder Toyotas
vibrate in idle, a lot of cars vibrate in idle, the ones that don't have
actually anti vibration parts inside the engine, like you take a lot of the
four-cylinder especially the older Honda Accords, they were extremely smooth but
what they had was, they had a timing belt that ran the cam to run the valves, but
then inside that, they had another belt that went to an anti vibration shaft
that spun to get rid of the vibration of a four-cylinder engine, and man they were
really smooth, now cost more money to make them that way and you lose a little
bit of horsepower in the engine for that, but engines can be made that way, now
Toyota and to my knowledge I've never seen one, never made anything had
anti vibration systems in them so they'll vibrate a little, it doesn't hurt
anything and you actually get better gas mileage if you don't put that in, because
it takes energy to run the anti vibration system, most four-cylinder
engines are going to vibrate a little because they're little and they only
have four cylinders, the more cylinders you add the smoother they are, that's why
ages ago a lot of the big fancy ones went to v12 of course they're really
smooths with v12, you got six cylinders on each side and they all balance each
other out, Caraballo says Scotty is a scion fr-s a good sporty looking
reliable car looking to buy one at a good price
you know their sporty good-looking cars I got a customer that's got one that he
bought it for that very same reason, it was a four-cylinder one, he's loved the car
he got a standard transmission and he likes how fast it is he drives like a
maniac, so know you he liked the acceleration of it but if it's an automatic you know
they're a little out of slow side I gotta say, but as a standard they're a
very quick little car and if you change the oil regularly they're very reliable
cars too and you can't really call it a sports car but you did say sporty and
they are sporty cars, you know Toyota never really was in the sports car
market, that isn't their thing, look at their new one it's basically it's really a
Subaru makes them, I'd driven them and you know they're nice cars they can get
around their sporty but they're not sports cars, they're not all that quick
and for the money of a brand new one I'd buy something else myself,
Kevin Clarke says, on a lease car should I change the oil
or have the dealership do it, change it yourself, oil is oil as long as you
change the oil, you don't have to pay a bunch of
money at some dealership that has something done, you're leasing it's not
even your car so you know what do you care, just and it's law
I know it's law because of the Magnusson warranty act is, as long
as you keep the receipts of where you buy the oil and filter from and change
it, you're proving that the oils been changed for, I know when you take the lease
and you got to prove that you've maintained
the car they can charge money for it, but as
long as you keep the receipts it's legal because I had a customer they tried to
get him over and said hey you didn't maintain your
car and he said no here's all the receipts of the oil and I changed it and I
said, you know as an additional thing if I were you, take a picture every time your
changing the oil just to say here's a picture of me change the oil
and here's the receipt then they can't get you and you'll save money that way, John
says Scotty what do you think of the 2001 Nissan Altima, not much I
had customers with them and they had engine head gasket problems or automatic
transmissions are garbage they went out all the time, I would never advise somebody
to buy one of those, now if you buy brand new one, that might work okay for you
know the first eighty ninety thousand miles and if you're happy with that
you can go ahead, but they're not gonna run like a Toyota or Honda go two three
four hundred thousand miles, they'll bankrupt you then because after
that Renault and Nissan merged and then the Nissan quality just went to be down
the toilet, Nissan's been on the verge of bankruptcy
for a long time, they've had a lot of problems with productions and with sales
I mean Ford almost bought them a long time ago but then the Ford stock went down
when the market crashed and they gave up with buying them too, Weaver says Scotty I
got an 04 Buick Regal every 3,000 miles
I have to add a quarter of oil no spots on the driveway and I replaced the PCV
valve each time what could it be hey it's a 15-year old Buick, it's just
burning oil either the valve seals are a little rotten and worn and their sucking oil
into the engine or the piston rings are worse, if you actually want to know what
it is , do what's called a wet and dry compression test, you take all the spark
plugs out, then you do a compression test with the compression reader then you put
like a half a tablespoon of oil in each cylinder hole and retake the compression
level and if the pressure goes up quite a bit,
it's the piston rings that are worn but if the pressure stays the same, then it's
the valve seals that are worn and you can tell that the valves are worn so you could
test it that way, either way you got to rebuild the engine so you know, it's not
worth fixing on some one thing like that, so if you never want to miss another one
of my new car repair videos, remember to ring that Bell!

Should all Electric car chargers accept contactless payment 🔌🔋🚗 - Duration: 4:45.welcome to this week's video this week we're going to be following on from last
week's video and that is should all charged points by law have contactless
card payments now before I get into the meat of the video I make videos every
single week about electric cars and if you've been watching my channel for a
while then please subscribe if you haven't already it's really important
that if you subscribe it helps my channel grow and it helps me get more
content out there so please go click Subscribe and click that notification
bell as well now saw an interesting discussion on Facebook and that is should
all charges have contactless card payment and in some respects I
completely agree that they should and then in others I don't let me explain
two of my reasons behind both of these answers now I think they should have it
on because it's going to make things simpler for electric car drivers it's
one of the main barriers between charging quickly it's the time it takes
to load the app and if you haven't got the app or the service of that company
you then have to register for it now there is several companies all
installing contactless card payments on their rapid charges through example one
is iinstavolt engeine polar are doing it on there new ultra-rapid so they're all starting to
put contactless card payments which is great which I've on Rapids I think it's
a must I think every single rapid should have contacts car payment but I also
think that the idea of having the app and also having them just an app of 22
kilowatt charges and below it's still much needed and shouldn't they shouldn't
be forced in any way to put contactless card payments on these and my reasons
for that is I understand commercial ventures and the way they work and apps
are a great way of collecting data and that data is a great way of showing
Super Markets the dwell time of how long you stay on a charger so they know that
you're going to stay on that charge of a certain amount of time they know that
your lot more like spend more money in their store why your car charges they're
giving you free electricity but in exchange you're spending money in their
shop and most people electric car drivers will rather stay in the warmth
of the shop spending money than in the car in the cold waiting for it to
charge so obviously this is why I think Rapids need contacts card payment because you
want to be in and out very quickly but on 22 kilowatt charges and below it
tends to be dwell times this app is very very important from a commercial
standpoint it's very important the other plus point on this is by fitting
contactless card payments you're making the Machine a hell of a lot more expensive
now rapid charges are expensive anyway so the cost is dwarfed on contactless
fitting contactless card payment on to a rapid it's very very small cost so therefore
it's not really noticeable in the grand scheme of things on 22 kilowatt charges
and below then the cost of a contactless card payment is quite expensive in relation
of what the actual inputting of the services is so I do think that yes we do
need contactless card payment on every rapid and I think yes there should be a
law forcing that all charges over 22 kilowatt charge speeds should have contactless
card payment as a must as a government policy but ones below fully
agree that app usage should stay exactly as it is it really does get more people
to use the charges and more tesco's and stuff like that I'll go more
likely to start putting more in now you're all going to disagree with me and
some people are going to agree with me so leave a comment in the section below
with what you think is the best alternative should they go all contactless
card payment or even an NFC chip to tap and stop charges let me know I'm
really interested on what what you think on this now thinking of making some
changes to my channel and one of those changes is I'm thinking of introducing
an extra video per week maybe on a Wednesday a Thursday a live chat
possibly with me every single week to discuss the last video so people like
yourself fans can ask me questions on what the subject is so if it was this
week's video would be discussing live chat what you thought of this or would
even do this video as a live chat on a follow up to the app video I might trial
it depending on what you all say in the comments below let me know if this you
think this is a good idea by the way don't forget to give this video thumbs
up don't forget to subscribe to my channel and check out my other
videos down here and consider becoming a patreon thanks very much and I'll see
you again next week goodbye

2019 BMW X7: Interior First Impressions — Cars.com - Duration: 2:39.we're here at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show with the latest from BMW the brand
new 2019 BMW x7 we've known the specs for some time in the pricing on the x7
but we haven't had a chance to do is climb inside we did here and let me tell
you it did live up to the height x7 is an appropriate name for that SUV because
the interior lives up in many ways to what you find in something like a 7
Series for a three year old SUV it is ultra luxurious the materials are great
and they're consistent all the way from the front row to the third row now
speaking of the third row I found that it actually has room in the back for
adults the impressiveness of the x7 s interior extends all the way back to the
third row now as I mentioned before materials are great no drop-off from the
front to the back this suede on the pillars in the headliner it actually
comes all the way down even back to the D pillar and the top of this is stitched
leather so no skimming materials here kudos to BMW for that other things that
we really like what the third row access the second row seats are both fully
powered so all you do is you pull on this little handle here and the C will
actually fall forward and then slide up to allow you easy entry to the third row
once you do get back here it's great there's a ton of headroom enough legroom
for adults and you can sit back here for a few hours and still be comfortable you
also get your own set of climate controls your own USB ports cupholders
the panoramic sunroof covers the first two rows and three row passengers
they're not left out now you get your own back here which that's a lot more
light in it makes it feel even more spacious one final area of the BMW x7
interior that's worth highlighting is the cargo area now because the row of
some three row SUVs not much cargo room but here enough space to carry a couple
of carry-on bags and a lot of vertical space to handle e it also comes with two
different cargo covers so one for when the third row is up and one for when is
down and there's actually a place underneath the floor to store them and
under the floor is also a pretty large storage bin that could fit a backpack or
even a few small purses and that secure storage is really helpful for people who
want to keep valuables away from prying eyes one final feature of the cargo area
that we really like is this panel of OneTouch buttons now these buttons allow
you to do things like open up the interior for maximum cargo room or for
maximum passengers with a touch of just one button and this is kind of
indicative of the level of attention of detail that BMW has paid this interior
there are redundant controls even on the back door
some of the seats around secure you're never like reaching across the car to
move seats around to get people or luggage to fit and that's really what
you want a luxury SUV it should be effortless to use and this is BMW is
accepting pre-orders for the x7 now but it won't arrive at dealerships until
March of 2019
you
