Make Your Mark: new after-school arts program - Duration: 2:10.
Art helps me express me
in a way that's, for me it's much easier
like I can do colors, and then also,
I can kinda let my mind just follow.
I like to make art because it expresses me
and I really enjoy it.
I guess it's just peaceful and very relaxing
and also really fun to do so it's
like the perfect combination.
I really like that we have the journals and get at the end
of the day reflect on ourselves and our art.
I thought it was a great opportunity for her
to find a way to express herself.
I found that artistic methods tend to help her,
and I think I've seen her kinda get
to know herself a little bit better through this.
Make Your Mark put
on by the Kirkland Arts Center is an important
after school program because it can bring
in the social-emotional learning aspect that art has to offer,
and it also brings art to children in a longer period
of time as in the classroom they might have forty-five minutes
to work on project, and here they have an hour and a half.
Art can help others understand each other.
It can help teachers understand how to relate with kids.
And a lot that can, believe it or not,
be taught through an art lesson.
So the kids are learning the process
through which people learn to manage emotions, to set goals,
learn interpersonal relationships
and positive decision making, and having respect for others
as well as themselves.
Anything that we can do to bring the confidence
and expressiveness out in our children,
I think it's gonna help them holistically
across the board not only academically,
but all the way across.
You get to explore art,
and it's just a really cool program and I'm glad I did it.

Chelsea news: Maurizio Sarri told to make January signing that would RELEGATE West Ham - Duration: 2:32.
Chelsea have been linked with a number of strikers in recent weeks ahead of the winter window
Olivier Giroud is yet to score this season, whereas Alvaro Morata has just three goals in all competitions
Chelsea are unbeaten in the Premier League under Sarri and many pundits have claimed they are a goalscoring striker away from being serious contenders for the title this term
Arnautovic has enjoyed life as a centre-forward at West Ham since David Moyes started playing him there midway through last season
The Austrian has four goals in his eight Premier League appearances so far under Manuel Pellegrini
Liverpool legend Steve Nicol believes the 29-year-old would be a fantastic signing for Chelsea
But he says West Ham would find it hard to stay in the Premier League if they sold their star asset
"It would make absolute sense for Chelsea," Nicol told ESPN FC. "It would make absolutely no sense for West Ham
"If they're to stay in the Premier League, because they look as though they're going to be in a dogfight for most of the year, then this guy has to stay
"If they want to stay in the Premier League, West Ham, he has to stay. "But, if you're Chelsea, you have to go and get him
"I think he would fit in fantastic. "His attitude, he's got the kind of attitude that's infectious
"People say he's moody, but I'll tell you what, I'll have a moody guy that scores goals and upsets the opposition any day over Giroud or a Morata, who I wouldn't be that bothered about playing against
"This is not going to happen, but it would make sense for Chelsea."

అటుకులతో సమోసా తయారుచేసే విధానం | Crispy Patti Samosa Recipe - How To Make Poha Onion Patti Samosa - Duration: 3:40.
Everyone likes Samosa.
Today, we will make a new variation of Samosa with Onions and Flattened Rice.
To make Samosa, add 1 tsp oil in the pan and heat it.
Once the oil is hot, add 1/2 tsp cumin seeds.
Add 3 finely chopped onions, just cook it for 1 minute and then switch off the gas.
Keep the pan aside and add 1/2 cup flattened rice.
wash the poha thoroughly and use.
Next, add 1 cup grated coconut and mix it well.
Next, 1 tsp chaat masala.
3 tsp sugar.
one and half tsp ginger and chilli paste.
1/2 tsp raw mango powder.
1/2 tsp garam masala.
Add salt to taste.
1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves.
Let's mix all these ingredients with our hands.
once the spices are nicely mixed, add 1 mashed potato.
Mix it well.
Stuffing mixture is ready, let's start shaping the Samosa.
I have taken ready made samosa patties here.
Fist take a samosa patti, follow these two parallel lines..
Take the patti corner and fold it one side and make it like a triangle.
Again fold it on the opposite parallel line and make it like a cone.
Make sure there is no gap at the tip.
Let's fill the stuffing in to the patti.
Make sure the stuffing has nicely cooled down before you fill it in the patti.
Press it down lightly and fold the entire samosa like this.
On the edge of the Samosa patti, let's apply some maida and water slurry.
In case any side is slightly open, you can just apply a little bit of slurry to seal it.
So that no oil goes in the samosa while frying.
Let's keep it aside and let's shape the remaining samosas.
Samosa patties are easily available in the super bazaar.
Once the samosas are ready, let's start frying.
Let them fry on low heat.
Because all the layers need to nicely cook.
samosas are ready, let's remove it on a plate.
Our Crispy Samosa is ready.
Do try this at home and share your comments.

How to make on-site composting - Duration: 6:32.
How to make: on-site composting
Hello, how are you?
I built, recently,
a new garden wooden bed, at home.
And to fill this bed,
instead of using land for cultivation
I'm going to make an on-site compost,
also known as laminar compost,
that nothing else is make composting
in same place, where you will cultivate,
without the need to turn this material from time to time.
That way, we have better use of nutrients,
besides decreasing the emergence of weeds in the place.
Basically to make this bed
we'll use the same materials
which we use to make composting, that is,
a material rich in nitrogen
which can be grass,
or chopped green material.
And a material rich in carbon.
In case,
rich in carbon, I will use crushed ficus leaves,
with a banana leaf I have here...
on my...
...backyard.
This is the bed...
which we will use to make on-site composting.
As you can see,
the first step is to remove all weeds
which were inside of this bed.
Then...
we'll wet the bottom of the bed...
with chlorine-free water.
Next step is to cover the bottom
and the sides of the bed
with cardboard,
to retard the emergence of weeds,
thus reducing the need for future weeding.
Will wet this cardboard,
with plenty of water, too...
always using chlorine-free water.
As always remain
some pieces of wood, here at home...
from pruning...
or from other sources,
I'll reserve this wood
for future uses,
as in on-site composting,
placing them on the cardboard.
If you don't have leftover wood at home,
no problem!
This step is optional, okay !?
This idea,
to take advantage of this wood,
came after I read about beds call
hugelkultur.
The intention here is not to build a hugelkultur,
but the release of nutrients from wood,
in addition to improving retention...
of moisture...
on my bed.
Just a layer of wood,
like the one of this bed,
to obtain this benefits.
From this moment,
to water
the layers of the on-site compost...
we'll use water
with microorganisms,
to accelerate and
and improve the composting process.
If you do not have microorganism,
no problem!
Just take a look at the cards in this video...
or in the video description....
that I teach you how to take microorganisms
for you to use in watering.
On top this wood
we'll put a layer of
20 cm of grass.
Pruning grass.
May be green grass, or
grass already...
like this, more decomposed, ok !?
We'll compact this grass, walking on it...
so that it enters the gaps...
of this wood,
so that our bed...
posteriorly...
do not present sagging
or holes in its surface.
After...
will water this grass
with microorganisms.
On top this grass
we will put a thin layer
of 2 cm of fresh manure,
or decomposed,
from any herbivorous animal.
Water the manure with water and microorganisms,
and on the manure, we'll put
a thick layer of 1 span,
to 1 and a half span,
of crushed green material,
enough to almost fill the bed,
leaving, more or less,
3 to 4 fingers
without filling.
Will water the green stuff
with microorganisms, too.
Now the last layer
we are going to use
a material
rich in carbon.
I'm going to use ficus leaves that I crushed,
in the shredder, with banana leaves.
I'm going to fill the bed
with these leaves all.
Then, we do another watering
very generous
with microorganisms.
Now
our on-site compost is set.
We'll wait
2 to 3 months
in the hottest times of the year,
or 4 months
in colder times,
to start planting
in this new bed.
How will you know?
if the bed is ready for planting?
Just check
under
the organic material rich in carbon,
if what was here...
already turned into
organic matter,
like this, look!
If it's at that point
you can start planting!
So,
this is the way
that I set my on-site compost.
With the ideas I've given you in this video,
you can set your bed,
and adapt according to...
the possibilities of material
that you have in your area.
The important
is to use a first waterproofing layer,
that is of cardboard, or
other biodegradable material,
that fulfills this role.
On the waterproofing material,
you put a generous layer
of 1 span or 1 span and a half,
of material rich in nitrogen.
Putting there
between this layer of nitrogen,
2 cm, or so...
of manure.
And the last layer,
3 to 4 fingers,
is of carbon rich material.
Respecting this amount
of carbon and nitrogen,
you can set this bed
at any time of the year.
As long as you have time
and patience
to wait for the material to decompose.
This is a bed
I made the on-site compost.
You can see here
the land is...
rich!
I've done the whole cropping cycle on it.
There's a chicory, that I'm waiting for...
give flowers, to collect the seeds.
And you can see,
this bed was filled to the border.
It camped a lot!
He goes camping, the material goes
going down.
In the next crop cycle,
what do I do to reuse this bed?
I'll fill the bed
with ready compost,
or else
composted
manure,
or both mixed,
and I will return to cultivate.
The last tip I leave,
is that this type of bed
can be mounted anywhere
independent if you have a structure
of wood or any other,
to support it.
So,
you can, simply,
heap the material on the floor,
and, after a certain time, start
to use his new bed.
Well, that's it for today!
I hope you have enjoyed this video!
Strong hug
and until the next.

Chelsea transfer news: Athletic Bilbao make Kepa Arrizabalaga announcement - Duration: 5:59.
In Spain, a player must buy himself out of his contract by paying the amount of the buyout clause to La Liga and Kepa did this earlier in the morning
The 23-year-old is now on his way to London to complete his transfer to Chelsea, which will make him the world's most expensive goalkeeper in history
And he will replace Thibaut Courtois, who will join Real Madrid for £35m. A statement on Bilbao's website said: The Professional Football League has certified to our entity that the player Kepa Arrizabalaga has met the requirements for the valid unilateral termination of the work contract that linked him to Athletic Club
"The aforementioned certification indicates that the player has expressed his desire to terminate and unilaterally resolve the relationship that joined him since the 2004/05 season and that the amount of the compensation established in the contract has been deposited
"Athletic thanks the player for his contribution during the time he has remained in our Club
"In this sense, Athletic Club will continue to work so that being part of its first team continues to be the maximum personal and professional aspiration of each and every one of the players, representatives of a unique sporting philosophy and project
"Our future is built on a choice freely adopted in the past and that only carries a sense of pride
"Hundreds of players and players who have considered our first team as their aspiration have served this election; and this bet is found both in those who have remained in Athletic throughout their sporting career due to their own desire, as well as in those who have had an unwanted exit resulting from the technical decisions of each moment
"Players and players protagonists, in short, a genuine personal and collective commitment with which each of the people that make up Athletic can not but feel connected
" MOST EXPENSIVE GOALKEEPERS IN FOOTBALL HISTORY 1. Alisson, Roma to Liverpool in 2018, £66
8million Liverpool completed the world-record signing of goalkeeper Alisson in July
The Brazilian, 25, signed a six-year contract and will replace Loris Karius as the club's No
1 2. Ederson, Benfica to Manchester City in 2017, £35million Alisson's countryman became the most expensive keeper (in pounds) when he joined City last summer
The 24-year-old quickly established himself as Pep Guardiola's first choice and impressed throughout the season, both with his shot-stopping and distribution, as City coasted to the title
3. Gianluigi Buffon, Parma to Juventus in 2001, £32.6million The Italian (who remained the most expensive keeper in euros prior to Alisson's move) was considered a pricey upgrade on the similarly great Edwin van der Sar when, aged 23, he left Parma
Seventeen years later his stay in Turin has finally come to an end, with Buffon moving to Paris St Germain
In an era when there has been significant competition from Iker Casillas in particular, Buffon will likely be remembered as the greatest keeper of his time
4. Jordan Pickford, Sunderland to Everton in 2017, £30million The most expensive English goalkeeper is 24-year-old Pickford, who grew stronger during his maiden season at Goodison Park after bursting onto the scene at Sunderland
He will start the new season with his reputation - and value - significantly enhanced by a stellar showing for England at the World Cup
5. Bernd Leno, Bayer Leverkusen to Arsenal in 2018, £22million Leno ended seven years at Leverkusen by signing for the Gunners, where he will hope to replace Petr Cech as number one, in June
The 26-year-old made more than 300 appearances for Leverkusen and was the youngest German goalkeeper to play in a Champions League match when he faced Chelsea in September 2011
Missed out on the Germany World Cup squad. 6. Manuel Neuer, Schalke to Bayern Munich in 2011, £19million Widely considered the best keeper in the world for a number of years, the 32-year-old is renowned for his abilities not just with his hands but also his feet
Neuer won the Champions League with Bayern a year before helping Germany to victory at the 2014 World Cup
Spent most of last season on the sidelines because of a foot injury.

How To Make Dangling Bead And Chain Earrings: Jewelry Tutorial - Duration: 7:09.
To make the earrings you'll need two eight millimeter round beads,
two inches of gold loop chain,
two head pins, also gold, and
two earring wires in gold.
For tools, you need round-nose pliers and wire cutters.
To get started
we're going to take our length of chain here. And for this design we're going to use six of the large links in the chain
for each earring. So I'm going to count six lengths of the large loop.
You see there's like a little loop in between the large loop. So that's one two, three, four, five,
six. Let me make sure I've got that right here. One, two, three, four, five, six. Great.
So what I want to do to cut the chain is cut right through the link that's underneath the number six loop.
So to do that, when you cut chain,
you just cut right through it. Which kind of blows people's minds. But really, that's how you do it.
So I'm just using my wire cutters and cutting that. And
now to make the earring, I'm
going to feed a bead onto one of our head pins.
Like that.
Oh!
And actually it looks like the hole in my bead is larger than the little flat end of my head pin.
This is a classic
problem that you can run into when you're working with head pins.
See how my bead slides right over. So because of that, we've got a nice little trick that you can fix that.
So it's an easy mistake to fix. We're going to use a tiny little gold bead. See the tiny gold bead there.
Slide that onto our head pin and
what that's going to do is act as a little stopper and
keep our
bead from sliding off. So there. Our one easy fix. Now, what we can do is make a wrapped loop
right above that bead using our round-nose pliers. So I'm grasping the wire of my head pin with my round-nose pliers.
I'm going to bend the wire toward me ninety degrees,
reposition the pliers to the top of that bend,
pull the wire up and over at the top jaw of my pliers,
reposition the pliers so the bottom jaw is in the loop now,
and then I'm going to pull the wire around to finish the loop. But I'm not going to wrap it yet.
I'm going to leave it on my pliers like that because that's going to make it easier to attach it to the chain.
So I want to use my chain that I already cut which is the six loop chain,
and I'm going to dangle my chain like that and sort of fish the end of my headpin wire
into that last loop.
Like that.
Then I can nestle the chain
down into the loop like that, so I've got the last link of my chain
connected now to that loop that I made. And now I want to wrap the loop and that'll make it secure.
I'm going to use my round-nose pliers.
I'm going to grasp across the loop and then pull the tail of my head to the wire around the neck
two times. And
then I'm just going to trim the end using my
wire cutters.
Look at that,
and get in there. There we go. And
if you end up with a little bit of an end sticking up,
you can always use your pliers to kind of press that end down into your wraps so that no one can see it. Just
like that. There we go.
So now we've got our bead attached to our chain. And all we have to do is add our earring wire to the top.
To do that, there's a little loop on the back of our earring wire.
I'm going to use my round-nose pliers, and I'm just going to grab on to that little loop and I'm gonna rotate up and
rotate the other part of the earring wire down. And that opens it without changing the shape of that loop.
Now I can just take my chain and
feed that first link of the chain through that earring wire loop and
then use my round-nose pliers again
to just rotate and close that loop. And
there is our first earring. So pretty. I absolutely love the look of this bead!
It's nice to feature it in earrings like this. And now I'm going to repeat all of those steps to create my matching earring.
So the first thing I want to do is count out my
links again. I want six of my large links. One, two,
three, four, five, six. So I want to cut through that little link that's beneath
my number six link there.
And be careful not to cut through the link that you actually want to use.
Now we'll take our headpin just like we did before and
feed on our
tiny gold bead. That's gonna
keep our larger bead from sliding over the end of our headpin. And
this is probably just a two millimeter gold round bead. You really could use anything you want.
We chose the gold bead because it matched the flat end of our headpin. Kind of disappears once you slide the bead on.
Now I'm gonna use my round-nose pliers, and I'm going to make a wrapped loop just like I did before.
Bend the wire toward me 90 degrees,
reposition the pliers to the top of the bend, pull the wire up and over the top jaw,
reposition the pliers to the bottom jaw, and then pull the wire around like that.
There's my loop. Now I'm going to take my chain and
I'm gonna fish that last link of chain
onto the end of my headpin wire.
Like that.
See it's down there in the loop now. And
now I can wrap my loop with my round-nose pliers by grasping across the loop and then pulling the neck or the
tail of my wire around the neck two times, like that.
Now I'll just trim my wire like I did before. And
now I can open the loop on my earring wire
and
then
sort of fish on the first link of my chain.
Nestled that down into the loop and
then just do what I did before to close the loop. I'm just rotating it closed. And
there we have a beautiful pair of bead and chain earrings

How to Make a White Outline in HitFilm - Duration: 3:56.
Jay Haynes for the Film Sensei YouTube Channel. Today, in this video, we are going
to create this very popular white outlined picture that you see in
thumbnails or images on the Internet.
So you could do this in Photoshop or GIMP, but it's also very easy and quick
to do in HitFilm. Here's what you're going to do. You're going to start by making a
new composite shot, and this will be the source picture. You will want to create
an embedded composite shot, pre-composed as it were. I'm going to bring in my picture.
Now either I will mask it out (one way), or the other way would be to key it out, and
that's what I'm going to do here. So I'm just going to use a basic green screen key,
and then I'm going to create a garbage mask here. Then I will key the rest out.
Okay. Either way, however you do it, you ultimately want a picture that is
transparent behind the picture of what you want. So in other words, the Alpha
information is in there. So now I'm going to create a new composite shot. This will
be the final, and I will bring in my picture. This is important that this is
baked into its own composite shot. Okay. Now I'm going to add a new plane layer
and bring it down below the picture. To that plain layer, I'm going to add a
couple of effects one is I'm going to add the set matte effect and then I will
use as the source, the picture. So essentially, it is just an outline of
that same picture. Then the second thing, and this is really the secret sauce of
this technique, is the neon glow effect. I'm going to add that in, and you'll see
right away what we have here. Okay. Now notice that there's a little bit of
an edge here. The reason is because the plane ends right here. So if you were
to take the transform properties and increase this to 110 percent, then it
will increase the size of it enough that it won't have a problem getting
all the way to the edge. Okay. From here, under the neon glow, what I will do is...
I'll go ahead and ramp up the intensity to the max.
Then I'm going to take the expansion down to zero, and take the
radius down to zero. From here, I can just bring the expansion back up until I'm happy with it.
So that sort of depends on your
picture, you're shot... I'm going to go with about there in this particular shot.
Now, if I want, I can add a background I'll use my plane again, and I will just throw
in a color gradient effect, and if I feel like it, maybe I'll go, say, blue to
red or something like that. So you can see how the the outline is here. Now that
outline can be any color you want it to be. You just open up the neon glow and
change it to something else. Usually though you want that to be white.
Just so you know. That's it! It's really that simple. All you have to
do now is just... Options and Export the frame to a PNG file. If you want to
convert it using... in Windows you could use Paint to convert it to a jpg,
or if you want to just leave it as a PNG you can do it that way too. But it's
really that simple! So if you have any questions, leave them in the comments
below, otherwise thanks for watching!
