Youtube daily what to watch Aug 26 2018

If you want to watch YouTubers Logan Paul and KSI duke it out in a boxing ring on Aug

25, we'll tell you how. We've got all the details!   You don't want to miss out on what's being dubbed the "biggest event in internet history

" Logan Paul, 23, and KSI — real name Olajide Olatunji, 25 —  are stepping into a boxing ring in England's Manchester Arena on Aug

25. Yes, the arena with a capacity for 21,000 people. The vlogger showdown starts at 5 p

m. in Britain, which is 12 p.m. ET and 9 a.m. PT. The fight will be streamed live on none other than YouTube, the birthplace of these opponents' careers

The fight costs $10 to watch and you can head over to this link to pay now. If you happen to live in the UK, you can buy tickets to sit in the Manchester Arena here

So, why should you dish out $10 to watch two non-athletes throw punches at one another? KSI and Logan aren't your average "I'm on vacation!" vloggers

They both boast subscribers in the nine digits: KSI has 19 million subscribers, and Logan falls just short with 18 million subscribers

Logan didn't get the best publicity after filming a suicide victim in Aokigahara National Forest and then posting it to YouTube in December of 2017

KSI, AKA ComedyShortsGamer, made a name for his first channel by uploading gaming-related videos, evolving from there (now, he has two rap EPs that topped UK music charts)

But the money going into this match is serious. British bookmakers took more than "a quarter of a million pounds of bets," The Independent reported as of Aug

24.  And the hype leading up to this match is just as big. Today in Manchester was Logan and KSI's weigh-in

KSI stepped onto the scale wearing a face mask of Chloe Bennet, 26…yup, Logan's girlfriend

Logan retaliated by popping a piece of Eclipse gum into his rival's mouth. But those disses were pretty PG compared to what else has went down amid the two YouTubers' feud

They had a shade match at the Los Angeles's Warwick Club on June 13, hurling some pretty hurtful insults at one another

"Your head is the size of a watermelon. I really can't miss. I literally can't miss

Dawg, your head looks like a hot air balloon. I can't miss it," Logan told KSI. The vlogger/rapper later shot back, "Just wait 'til Saturday bro

Saturday bro. Saturday bro. Your mom's going get it, your daddy's going get it." When Saturday came around — June 16 at the L

A. Coliseum — Logan was the one who ended up "getting it" after KSI attempted to fight him because Logan snatched KSI's wig, and tried to go for the bandanna too

Start placing your bets now. The money's riding high on these two YouTube sensations!

How to Watch 49ers vs Colts Preseason Game Online | Heavy.com

Andrew Luck leads the Indianapolis Colts as they host the San Francisco 49ers in Week 3 of NFL Preseason action on Saturday.

The game is scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m.

If you don't have cable or can't get to a TV, here's a rundown of all your live stream options, which vary depending on if the game is televised in your market or not:.

If The Game is Televised in Your Market.

First, check to see what local channel the game is on in your area–it will be either ABC, CBS, CW, Fox or NBC.

Then, if you sign up for one of the following cable-free, live-TV streaming services, you'll be able to watch a live stream of your desired channel.

For example, for fans in San Francisco, Sacramento or Monterey, where the game is broadcast on CBS, Amazon Prime is going to be your easiest option.

If you're in Indianapolis, where the game is on Fox, either Hulu with Live TV or FuboTV are both good options.

Here's a rundown of all the streaming services, what they include, and how to sign up and watch (note that local channels are available live in select markets):.

Amazon Prime.

Local channels included: CBS.

If you have Amazon Prime or want to start a free 30-day trial of Amazon Prime, you can watch all CBS content (both live and on-demand) via the CBS Amazon Channel, which also comes with a 7-day free trial.

Once you're signed up for both Amazon Prime and the CBS channel, you can then watch a live stream of your local CBS channel on your computer via the Amazon website, or you can watch on your phone, tablet or streaming device via the Amazon Video app.

Hulu With Live TV.

Local channels included: ABC, CBS, CW, Fox, NBC.

In addition to its massive Netflix-like library of on-demand movies and TV shows, Hulu also offers a bundle of 50-plus live TV channels, which includes ABC, CBS, CW, Fox and NBC.

You can sign up for "Hulu with Live TV" right here, and you can then watch a live stream of any of those channels on your computer via the Hulu website, or on your phone, tablet or streaming device via the Hulu app.

If you can't watch the game live, "Hulu with Live TV" also comes with 50 hours of Cloud DVR storage (with the ability to upgrade to "Enhanced Cloud DVR," which gives you 200 hours of DVR space and the ability to fast forward through commercials).

FuboTV.

Local channels included: CBS, CW, Fox, NBC.

A streaming service that is largely tailored towards sports fans, FuboTV includes CBS, CW, Fox and NBC.

You can sign up for a free 7-day trial right here, and you can then watch a live stream of those channels on your computer via the FuboTV website, or on your phone, tablet or streaming device via the FuboTV app.

If you can't watch the game live, FuboTV also comes with 30 hours of Cloud DVR (with the ability to upgrade to 500 hours), as well as a "72-Hour Lookback" feature, which allows you to watch games and shows up to three days after they air even if you forgot to record them.

The main FuboTV channel package also comes with NFL Network, which will air a replay of every preseason game.

Sling TV.

Local channels included: Fox, NBC.

Fox and NBC are both included in the "Sling Blue" channel package.

You can sign up for a free 7-day trial, and you can then watch a live stream of either channel on your computer via the Sling website, or on your phone, tablet or streaming device via the Sling TV app.

If you can't watch live, you can get 50 hours of cloud DVR storage as an additional add-on.

"Sling Blue" also comes with the NFL Network, which will air a replay of every preseason game, so you can also watch that way if you miss it live.

If The Game is Not Televised in Your Market.

You can watch every out-of-market preseason NFL game online via NFL Game Pass, which costs $99.99 for the season (or four installments of $29.99).

Once signed up, you can watch games on your computer via the Game Pass website, or on your phone, tablet or streaming device via the NFL app.

Preview.

Luck had somewhat of a difficult time in the Colts' preseason loss against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday.

Luck, after completing two-thirds of his passes the prior week, finished 6-for-13 with 50 yards and an interception.

His interception came in the red zone, and he looked the opposite of sharp.

Still, Luck's comeback trail still has some time to go, and this is only the preseason.

Indianapolis' projected starter at running back is Marlon Mack, however that is currently in flux.

Mack has been dealing with a hamstring injury over the past two weeks, and will not play against the 49ers.

The second-year player out of South Florida (fourth round in 2017) was expected to come into training camp and take control of the primary duties, but the job remains open heading into Week 1.

Mack's health is important for Luck moving forward because the Colts' collective skill-position group is among the worst in the NFL.

The biggest question for the 49ers to start the season remains the health of their running backs.

As head coach Kyle Shanahan tries to find the right fit in case Jerick McKinnon (knee) misses the first game or two, the depth behind McKinnon has become more suspect.

Second-year running back Joe Williams is likely headed to injured reserve again after he fractured his rib in San Francisco's second preseason game.

Jeremy McNichols, also in his second-year, but also on his second team – he was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the fifth round in 2017 – is likely to get the majority of first-team snaps against the Colts and in practice through the start of September.

McNichols has a chance to win the backup job to McKinnon this season if the production is there.

The 49ers have a tough test against the Minnesota Vikings on the road in Week 1.

It seems like with a wounded supporting cast, Jimmy Garoppolo's unbeaten record (7-0) is in serious jeopardy.

Analysis | More than 800,000 people paid $10 to watch a bunch of YouTubers box each other - Duration: 6:21.

Logan Paul and KSI after the fight on Aug. 25. (Tom Jacobs/Reuters) By Abby Ohlheiser Reporter August 25 at 6:12 PM For months, brothers Jake and Logan Paul have hyped their boxing match against a pair of British YouTube siblings, Deji Olatunji and KSI, as the "biggest event in Internet history

" This is what the Pauls do well: They hype anything with their name on it, especially their merchandise and their popular YouTube channels

Their collective ability to manufacture hype and drama out of thin air is what made them famous

The match might not have been the biggest event in Internet history, but the perpetually controversial brothers will be able to claim the match as a success: More than 800,000 people were watching the official live stream of the fight at its peak — each paying $10 for the privilege of watching the four YouTubers box in front of a live, paying audience in a Manchester arena in Britain

If you count those watching the unofficial, free, live streams of the fight on Twitch and Twitter, the number of online viewers hits about 2 million

The event was part boxing, part the culmination of a complicated, drawn-out drama, performed online ever since KSI challenged the Paul family in early February after winning a match against YouTuber Joe Weller

The brothers now have another formula for monetizing their fame after several high-profile scandals — most notably, Logan Paul's vlogging of a dead body in a Japanese forest

[YouTuber Logan Paul apologizes for showing dead body in Japan's 'suicide forest'] The YouTubers had massive fan bases from which to draw a virtual crowd for their fight Saturday

Logan Paul and Jake Paul have 18 million and 16 million subscribers, respectively

KSI (whose real name is Olajide Olatunji) and Deji Olatunji have 19 million and 9 million subscribers on their gaming channels

Each of them have talked up the fight to their loyal fan bases ever since it was announced this year, treating their viewers to a dramatic cascade of news conferences, traded insults, training updates  and diss tracks

Jake Paul and Olatunji were the undercard, while Logan Paul and KSI were the main event

Jake Paul wore white, and Logan Paul black, as they entered the ring for their fights, each sporting a Bane-like face mask

KSI's robe was marked with the phrase "The Nightmare," and he walked into the ring in a full black skull mask

KSI's intro, announced in the arena just before the fight, called him the "Undisputed YouTube boxing champion of the world

" Each fighter walked out to their own diss track of their opponent. If you're wondering why this his happening, the simplest answer is, why not? The Paul brothers weaponized drama to make themselves famous — turning the culmination of that drama with other YouTubers into a physical, monetizable event isn't really that far from their existing business models

And Logan Paul, in particular, wanted to weave the fight into the redemption story he's been trying to tell about himself all year

He had stepped back from his daily vlogging schedule over the past few months. This fight had become the focus of his content

[These 11-year-olds came to see their YouTube hero. Jake Paul was there to sell them hoodies

] "As most of you know, at the beginning of the year, I was at the lowest point in my life as the result of my own actions," he said after the fight to boos from the crowd, referring to his infamous vlog of a dead body that, among other things, led to the cancellation of Logan Paul's premium ad deal with YouTube

"I do owe you an actual thank you," he said to KSI. "You say you saved my career, and these past six months, you've allowed me to take a step back from the Internet, and once again realize who I am

" Claiming that his redemption arc was not yet over, he said that the moment was "the start of a new Logan Paul

" Jake Paul won his fight against Olatunji, and celebrated by challenging Chris Brown to fight him next

Olatunji, grabbing the microphone, spoke of his close loss as if it was not just a boxing defeat, but a blow to his career

"This isn't the end of me, I'm gonna come back from this," he said. "Jake Paul he surprised me, he hit hard

" As for KSI and Logan Paul, the fight was a draw — meaning that KSI remains the champion of YouTube boxing

The end was the perfect setup for a sequel. "Logan, I think there's only one thing to do

I think we gotta rematch," KSI said. Logan Paul responded, "I think it's what the people want

How to Watch Texans vs Rams Preseason Game Online | Heavy.com

There is a tremendous amount of hype surrounding the Houston Texans right now, and it all has to do with quarterback Deshaun Watson and the anticipation for his sophomore season.

Despite coming off a torn ACL, most are still sky high on the 2017 first-round pick; the Texans are taking that optimism and some other injury good news and fortune into Southern California as they play the Los Angeles Rams in Week 3 of NFL Preseason action.

The game is scheduled to start Saturday at 4 p.m.

If you don't have cable or can't get to a TV, here's a rundown of all your live stream options, which vary depending on if the game is televised in your market or not:.

Watson, who by all accounts is on schedule and has thrown passes during this preseason, is expected back for season opener with a chip on his shoulder and legitimate claim at some dark horse Most Valuable Player consideration (obviously pending his health).

The Texans' defense continues to get nothing but good news as September approaches.

On Tuesday, it was reported that 2016 All-Pro pass rusher Whitney Mercilus is expected to be ready to play Week 1 against the New England Patriots.

Mercilus, who missed most of the 2017 season with a torn pectoral muscle, is a key foundational player and a primary edge rusher for Houston.

Houston adds Mercilus to the equation after getting nothing but good news all throughout training camp from All-Pro teammate J.J.

Watt.

With a healthy Jadeveon Clowney in the fold, the Texans' front seven should be monumentally better, and healthier, to start the season than they were at any point just a year ago.

The Rams' major headline has yet to change this summer.

Aaron Donald still doesn't have a new contract, and it's growing increasingly likely Donald and the Rams will not have negotiated a new deal for the start of the regular season.

General manager Les Snead was smart to acquire Marcus Peters, Aqib Talib, and Ndamukong Suh to improve Los Angeles' defense, knowing full well a situation involving Donald could linger into the beginning of September.

Snead, however, probably never expected the two sides to remain as far apart on a new contract as they are now.

What started as hardball has turned into hard times in LA.

Head coach Dan Quinn announced Wednesday that wide receiver Julio Jones and running back Devonta Freeman will be held out for the remainder of the preseason in preparation for the Philadelphia Eagles opening night on September 6.

Jones, who underwent offseason foot surgery, has not played in either of Atlanta's preseason games thus far.

Freeman is nursing his knee, but seems to be preparing to play Week 1 against the Eagles.

Atlanta is being super conservative heading into Jacksonville, as safety Ricardo Allen (undisclosed) and linebacker Deion Jones (hamstring strain) were both ruled out vs.

the Jaguars on Thursday.

Jacksonville has been the subject of multiple trade rumors this week.

First, it was reported by Manish Mehta of The New York Daily News the New York Jets had called in on the availability of defensive end Dante Fowler.

In related news, the Jets also reportedly called in on Khalil Mack of the Oakland Raiders, so the organization is doing their due diligence when it comes to the league's potential premiere pass rushers who are still young enough to lock up long-term.

The Jaguars were also reportedly connected to quarterback Teddy Bridgewater earlier in the week, but those trade rumors have seemed to die down.

The Jaguars offense will rely more on second-year running back Leonard Fournette this season.

According to Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone, Fournette is expected to take on a bigger role on third down, which is code these day for "receiving option.".

"He seems to be doing a good job.

It's a little bit different on third down, schematically what we do.

He's just getting himself comfortable with that.".

The Jaguars enter the regular season with Marquise Lee and Dede Westbrook atop the depth chart at wide receiver, so incorporating Fournette, along with versatile pass-catching back Corey Grant, more into the offense makes sense.

Last week, Mahomes did a terrific job of showing off the arm strength that made him a Top 10 pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Mahomes' highlight-reel worthy 69-yard touchdown pass to Tyreek Hill have fans excited for what the second-year pro can do in his first full season as a starter in Andy Reid's offense.

Mahomes also completed two-thirds (8-for-12) of his pass attempts for 138 yards, but threw a careless interception in the end zone on Kansas City's first series.

His quick recovery was a good sign, though.

Mahomes is also finally incorporating offseason acquisition Sammy Watkins into the mix.

Watkins, on his third team in two seasons, is still looking for that true breakout season; his talent was on full display at practice this week, and it seems the two are starting to build chemistry.

Chiefs wide receiver Sammy Watkins had perhaps his most productive week of practice, perhaps an indication he's ready to bust from the slump that leaves him without a catch through two preseason games.

"As you see in practice, (QB Patrick Mahomes) threw… https://t.co/T4NW4RH2Lk — Adam Teicher (@adamteicher) August 23, 2018  .

The Chiefs' secondary gained some valuable help this week, as cornerback Orlando Scandrick was brought aboard on a one-year, $1.5 million contract.

Scandrick, who was cut by the Washington Redskins last week, should play in nickel and dime situations, and be the primary backup to Kendall Fuller.

Fuller, coincidentally enough, was also a Redskin – he was included in the offseason trade that sent quarterback Alex Smith to Washington.

Chicago's primary concern at the moment is getting everybody healthy, which includes a large chunk of their offense.

Head coach Matt Nagy says he's confident wide receiver Taylor Gabriel and cornerback Prince Amukamara, two players the Bears are counting on heavily this season, should be ready for the season opener against the Green Bay Packers.

In addition to Gabriel and Amukamara, Jordan Howard, Allen Robinson and Kevin White, so practically Chicago's entire offense, have questions about their long-term healthy they need to answer as the regular season begins.

Right now, there is tremendous hype surrounding tight end Trey Burton.

Burton is expected to flirt with 1,000 receiving yards pending his health.

After serving as the Eagles' primary backup in each of the past two seasons, Burton had somewhat of an eye-opening 2017 season.

Despite being behind Zach Ertz, he accumulated 248 receiving yards on 23 receptions with five touchdowns, averaging 10.8 yards per reception.

The Bears signed Burton to a four-year, $32 million contract in the offseason.

He is expected to be second-year quarterback Mitchell Trubisky's primary receiving target this season, and a target monster for fantasy purposes.

How to Watch Ravens vs Dolphins Preseason Game Online | Heavy.com

Joe Flacco leads the Baltimore Ravens into South Beach to take on the Miami Dolphins in Week 3 of NFL Preseason action on Saturday.

The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.

For example, for fans in Miami or West Palm Beach, where the game is broadcast on CBS, Amazon Prime is going to be your easiest option.

If you're in Baltimore, where the game is on NBC, either Hulu with Live TV or FuboTV will work for your live streaming needs.

Preview.

After being an intriguing early-preseason storyline, the Ravens' offense has mostly settled into what will likely start the season.

Namely, their former Super Bowl Most Valuable Player, Flacco, at quarterback, according to head coach John Harbaugh.

Lamar Jackson, after some impressive highlights against the Bears in the Hall of Fame Game and against the Los Angeles Rams two weeks ago, has since slowed down, looking like the project rookie he was primarily drafted to be.

Through three games, Jackson is X, and is likely third on the depth chart behind Robert Griffin III, who has looked impressive himself this preseason, enough to possibly warrant future starting consideration again.

The Ravens' receiving core is significantly better than it was last season, which is aiding Flacco – who reportedly is having his strongest camp in a long time.

Wide receivers Michael Crabtree and John Brown have each had strong training camps, and are likely the best one-two combination on the outside Flacco has had to work with since Anquan Boldin and Torrey Smith, now an astonishing six years removed since Baltimore won Super Bowl 47 against the San Francisco 49ers.

Miami continues trying to find the right players and fit for an offense that has a blend of younger and older faces, which it didn't have a year ago.

Head coach Adam Gase is prone to tinkering and adjusting on the fly, and that may be what he needs to do this season to get the most out of his unit.

Kenyan Drake ran away with the starting running back job over the course of the second half of last season, and is entrenched as the team's starter.

Behind him.

34-year old Frank Gore is still grinding, and a solid training camp has Gore looking at opportunities to get steady, reliable touches as Drake's primary backup this season.

Sun Belt showdowns: What to watch for in Tuesday's primaries: ANALYSIS - Duration: 9:57.

Two big, diverse, and scorchingly hot states that were key to President Donald Trump's 2016 victory highlight the last major multi-state day of voting in the 2018 primaries

Voters in Arizona and Florida - plus Oklahoma, where there are a few scattered runoffs - will choose candidates for the midterms on Tuesday

The late-summer races are likely to reinforce the trends of a colorful and surprising primary season - and lay out the stakes for November

Voting will take place in Arizona under sad circumstances: The McCain family announced Friday that Sen

John McCain has discontinued medical treatment for brain cancer, though his seat won't be on the ballot until 2020 in all likelihood

Immigration, gun control, health care, and the environment are all playing big roles

Arizona and Florida both went for President Donald Trump, but shifting demographics and political trends could shade both states blue, and both feature Senate races that are atop the list of potential party switches

Looming over it all, as always, is Trump, who has placed his thumb on different portions of the map even as he comes off one of the most politically damaging weeks of a tumultuous presidency

Here are five trends to watch in Tuesday's primary contests: Trumpification Even in the home states of McCain and Jeb Bush, the president continues to demonstrate control of the Republican Party

In Arizona, the seat now represented by Sen. Jeff Flake – perhaps the most outspoken GOP Trump critic in Congress – features a wild Republican primary where Trump hasn't endorsed, but all three candidates are pledging loyalty to the president

Their styles could hardly be more varied, though, with Joe Arpaio, Kelli Ward, and Martha McSally taking Trumpism in different directions

In Florida, Trump almost single-handedly elevated a little-known congressman, Ron DeSantis, to front-running status in the race for governor against establishment favorite Adam Putnam

In one campaign ad, DeSantis encourages his toddler daughter as she plays with blocks: "build the wall

" The 2018 primary season is ending as it started, with little room for Republicans who aren't all-in on Trump

Marquee matchups The Arizona Senate seat on the ballot is occupied by a Republican, while Florida has a Democrat running for reelection – and both could see party control change this fall

Arizona marks perhaps Democrats' best pick-up opportunity in the Senate, with Rep

Kyrsten Sinema - the first openly bisexual person to have been elected to Congress – primed to take on the winner on the GOP side, possibly another woman also serving in the House

The field in Florida is already basically set, with Republican Gov. Rick Scott pouring his personal wealth into a race against Democratic Sen

Bill Nelson, in what could easily be the most expensive race in the country. And the race to replace the term-limited Scott features a spirited Democratic primary that includes the 39-year-old African-American mayor of Tallahassee, Andrew Gillum, and former Rep

Gwen Graham, whose father was a longtime senator and governor. Gillum is the latest Democrat to hope to benefit from a late boost courtesy of an endorsement by Sen

Bernie Sanders. We've got issues The themes dominating the discourse in Arizona and Florida should be broadly familiar to anyone paying attention to politics in 2018

Both states have large immigrant, Latino, and retiree populations, putting issues regarding immigration and health care close to mind

The border fence and family-separation policies for refugees and immigrants are backyard issues in Arizona

Florida's deadly "red tide" algae bloom has placed environmental issues into dramatic and dangerous view

And look for gun control to be a factor not just on Tuesday but in November in both states

Florida suffered the school massacre in Parkland this year and the Pulse nightclub shooting in 2016, and Arizona is the home of former Rep

Gabby Giffords, whose political organization has become more mobilized for this election than in previous years

Red tints to pink wave In a year where Democrats are busting records for female candidates, Republicans can claim no such milestones

But Tuesday's contests happen to feature several GOP first-time candidates who are minorities – earning them national notice even before they clinch any nominations

Vennia Francois, an attorney and the daughter of Caribbean immigrants, is running as a Republican in a House race in the Orlando area

In the Miami area, former Telemundo anchor Maria Elvira Salazar is seeking to replace a retiring Latina Republican

Meanwhile, in Arizona, the GOP frontrunner for Senate is Rep. Martha McSally, an Air Force veteran who was the first woman to fly in combat and lead a fighter squadron

Second acts Familiar names are seeking unlikely comebacks in Tuesday's primaries, and a few are almost certain to fall short

Former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who is 86 and a year removed from a presidential pardon for a criminal contempt conviction, in running a quixotic race for the GOP Senate nomination in Arizona

(Trump has resisted calls to endorse in that race.) Donna Shalala, 77, is running for an open House seat after a long career that included eight years as President Bill Clinton's health and human services secretary, and stints running the University of Wisconsin and the University of Miami

And former Rep. Alan Grayson is trying to return to the House in central Florida, with the liberal firebrand taking on an incumbent Democrat despite baggage stemming from an ethics investigation and an old domestic-abuse allegation that later prompted a physical altercation with a reporter

Bell has had aspirations for a new, long-term contract extension for the better part of two years now.

After finishing last season with 1,926 yards from scrimmage despite his demands lingering into the start of the regular season, Bell feels as though he is more than proved himself in regard to earning the guaranteed money he feels he's worth.

Where the Pittsburgh front office has been stingy, is assuring Bell the guaranteed portion of his contract.

Bell has rejected each offer from the Steelers dating back to the offseason, and there is no guarantee Bell reports in time for the start of the regular season this time around.

In the meantime, the only other real drama for the Steelers is wide receiver Eli Rogers being suspended one game by the NFL for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

Rogers, coming off a torn ACL, will start the season on the PUP list, so his one-game suspension will be tacked on at the end.

Interesting to note, Ben Roethlisberger told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette of the team's plans to use more no-huddle sets this season – likely as a way to appease the aging franchise quarterback who has contemplated retirement in each of the past two offseasons.

"I always did a lot of stuff, but if they're going to put that trust in me, then I have to then reward them with the knowledge that I'm going to do the right thing, call the right plays.

Tennessee made some minor news this week when the organization re-upped wide receiver Rishard Matthews to a one-year, $7.75 million contract extension through 2019, which will shore up the starting receiver job opposite 2017 first-round draft pick Corey Davis.

Matthews, who was reportedly not practicing because of a "minor" knee injury which needed surgery this offseason, is now back in the fold for Tennessee.

The Titans also have a good problem at receiver, as Matthews provides insurance.

2017 third-round pick Taywan Taylor has reportedly had a strong training camp, and is aiming toward the No.

2 spot on the depth chart.

Taylor hurled in all four of his targets last week for 95 yards and two touchdowns, including a touchdown on a screen pass where his speed shined, despite Tennessee losing 30-14 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The 5-foot-11 Taylor would also be a welcome complement next to the much taller Davis in primary packages this season.

Davis has also been used all over the formation in practice.

"I think Corey is trying to really focus hard on leading that group and helping our offense and be a productive player," Titans head coach Mike Vrabel said Thursday.

Davis is a trendy pick to breakout in a big way this season.
