Youtube daily which May 4 2018

Hey, this is the Daily Overpass, my name is Eric and I make apps!

Now today, I wanna talk about which ad network I would use if I could not use admob.

So today, I'm coming to you once again from Goring which is a beautiful location!

I had to stop here again and do a video today, just because it's so nice outside and it's

nice to be out of the office a little bit.

So today I'm gonna answer a question that came in a few days ago on one of our really

old videos.

This video was called 'Why We Use Admob' and I think it might be three or four years old!

Where I talked about why I stick with admob and I don't use all the other networks except

through mediation.

This question comes from Selvi Productivity Apps, and it said "Hi Overpass Team, I wanna

know what your alternative opinion for admob?

I mean, the second one in the row...Thanks".

And I think what that means is, when we're not using admob, if we didn't have admob,

which one would we use?

Which actually is a good question, because sometimes that comes up!

The answer for me is AppLovin. for me, if I can't use admob, I go straight to applovin,

because that was my go to.

The thing that always surprises me about ad networks, so making money through apps and

everything, is you have to try a lot of the different ad networks.

See I've had people who will use chart boost or facebook audience network who swear by

it, who say "that's the most money I make, everything comes through there, I don't know

why anybody would use anything else!"

Whereas when I use those, and I don't get the same results that they do.

So a lot of the time, it's a lot of trial and error and experimentation and this is

why ad mediation is good!

It's good because you can switch it dynamically without having to keep redeploying your application

and put all the other SDK's in there.

We talked before about SDK-less mediation which has never really been very good so far,

so a lot of the times when you compile your app with these different ad networks, you

have to put those different SDK's in there.

But for me, it's applovin, but I know that's not the case for everybody and I hate to say

that as a general rule.

You know what would be a really good title for a video?

It would be 'The best Ad Network Out There', but I can't make that because I don't know

what it is!

All I can tell you is what works for me, I've tried lots of different ad networks, I can't

even remember them all now because last year I was just sticking with admob, and although

it's been kind of up and down and up and down, it still seems to be the most consistent to

me.

Every time I use another ad network, or if I use too many mediation networks in one go,

the money gets spread out too far and I just don't get the same kind of result.

So this is mostly a question for the rest of you - for me, my second choice after admob

is going to be applovin.

That's just me.

What about the rest of you guys?

What is your backup?

Which one would you go to if you couldn't use admob?

Or even better yet, you might not even be using admob - which one do you find to be

the best ad network for you?

Which ones have you tried and which ones do you stick with?

So anyway, that's it for today, I hope that helps a little bit, but I'm really interested

in hearing what you guys have to say!

That's it for today, I'll talk to you guys again tomorrow!

Little Women: Which March Sister Are You? - Duration: 1:17.

- I've always wanted to be Jo.

(guitar music)

To say that I am her,

is sort of too proud a statement to make.

I couldn't possibly do such a thing.

But, she's definitely the sister

that I connected to the most in reading the book

and felt the most intimate with.

I got you! (girls screaming and laughing)

- I think on different days, I could be any one of them.

My main two, would probably be Beth and Jo.

I think I definitely have a Beth within me.

But, I probably live my life more day to day as Jo.

(gentle music)

- I think that it's really hard to answer that question.

I've had so much champagne.

I've already started the headache

I'll wake up with in the morning. (sighs)

Now that I've played Meg in all of her complexity,

and she's now part of me,

I think it would be impossible to say anyone other than Meg.

- When you read the book as a young woman,

you think, I'm Jo.

I don't quite fit, I'm a bit special

and I've got all these amazing ideas

about what I want from life.

I read it as the age I am now,

the mother of young children and go,

I'm struggling with all these responsibilities

and I used to be Jo.

What happened? (laughs)

all emanating some of the fatty acids that are responsible for keeping its solid in the first place

benefits of coconut oil are linked to those fatty acids

by solid coconut oil for the same reason you buy a whole apples instead of applesauce it's one step closer to its most natural state

don't stress about organic

good news for the budget conscious coconut addict coconuts aren't shown to have significant pesticide residues so it's not

essential to buy organic explains Jackie Nugent road culinary nutritionist and author of the all natural diabetes cookbook

the same goes for non GM a label claims

there are currently no known genetically modified varieties of coconut so don't pay extra

for a brand flaunting nine GM oh status one exception

mu did explains and those medium chain fatty acids are a still a type of saturated fat

the kind most nutrition pros say we should limit

it's not that coconut oil is some kind of a unforgivable disease causing dietary evil

it's just that we don't know enough about it yet to say it should be the number one fat source in our diets

my feeling is that there's not enough research showing that we should be using coconut oil in place of fats like olive oil

and takano oil or expel oppressed canola oil that we know from years of research at heart health benefits Levenson said is your best bet

keep loading up on those proven healthy fat sources salmon avocado nuts olive oil and use coconut oil less frequently

as Levinson puts it just don't eat it by the spoonful

BREAKING LOOK WHICH CONGRESSMAN WAS JUST CAUGHT TAKING BRIBE - Duration: 13:12.

BREAKING: LOOK WHICH CONGRESSMAN WAS JUST CAUGHT TAKING BRIBE

There are only few things more despicable – and more contrary to the spirit of our

Constitution – than a congressman accepting bribes to advance an agenda that most Americans

oppose.

One of the big liberal agendas opposed by a majority in this country is so-called "gun

control," or, more accurately, the repeal of the Second Amendment and the forced seizure

of all private arms.

Barack Obama was a major proponent of this agenda, and repeatedly exploited tragic criminal

and terrorist shootings to assault the Second Amendment.

And Obama's top comrade-in-arms (pun intended) in this effort was always Sen. Joe Manchin

(D-WV).

Now, Manchin previously insisted that he never offers quid pro quo when receiving money from

political donors.

The question came up after Manchin voted to remove a "stream protection rule" just

as one of his major donors was poisoning a natural reservoir.

Get ready for a shock…

It turns out Manchin might have been lying!

The Washington Times has learned that Manchin also received considerable donations from

the law firm Paul, Weiss.

Paul, Weiss has made the news before after one of its attorney's was caught distributing

anti-America propaganda to inmates at Guantanamo.

The law firm is also well known as a leader in pushing gun control.

And they've been giving big bucks to Manchin, who in turn has led many a charge in the Senate

to take guns away from Americans.

Coincidence?

Of course not.

H/T Conservative Post

The firm has been a longtime donor in Democratic politics and was listed among the top ten

firms to donate to federal candidates and parties in 2016, according to the Center for

Responsive Politics.

Ninety-three percent of the donations went to Democratic candidates.

One listed donor to Mr. Manchin, Martin Flumenbaum, an attorney at the firm, was once banned from

Guantanamo after someone on his team was caught distributing anti-American propaganda to detainees

back in 2006.

The firm was banned from the base, but won a lawsuit

that allowed

them

to

continue

representing prisoners.

Montini: Which is the fairer way to fund education? - Duration: 2:33.

The Legislature passed a budget and included

a pay raise for teachers, increased money to schools.

But it doesn't come anywhere close

to filling the enormous education funding gap

that has developed over 10, 15 years of cuts.

So, there are two groups out there

that are thinking, 'Why don't we put an initiative on the ballot

that would deal with the long-term education funding?'

One of those initiatives would place

an extra tax burden on people who sit

at the head of tables like this.

The other group would put an additional tax burden

on people who clean tables like this.

Now, that first initiative,

the Invest in Education Initiative,

says, essentially,

that taxes will increase

for individuals who make more than $250,000

or couples who make more than $500,000.

In theory, I understand the argument that says

we shouldn't overburden a particular group of people.

And I agree with that.

But we haven't really overburdened

this particular group of people.

If anything, for the last who knows how many years,

the people who have gotten the biggest tax breaks

in Arizona

are those individuals who need those breaks the least.

On the other hand,

that other proposal would increase the sales tax.

Now, people who like this idea say,

'Hey, look, with a sales tax,

everybody pays equally.

You know, we all pay the same tax

on the same items so we're all in this together.

It's fair.'

But is it really?

Look at this way:

Let's say two people walk into a store,

each needing to buy a necessity.

We're not talking about some extravagance, but a necessity.

Now, the first person reaches into their money bag

and they pull out

a 10-dollar bill.

The other person reaches into their Gucci money bag

and they pull out a hundred dollars.

Now, the sales tax on that particular item,

let's just say for the sake of argument,

is one dollar.

Which of these two people is this tax

impacting more?

Pretty obvious.
