Hey welcome back to another axe family video today I want tell you a story

so the other day after we left my uncle's house we had some time to kill

and typically when we have some time to kill and also some work to do we try to

find a place that we can go and sit down and we either find a place that is like

a coffee shop if we need to plug our computers and stuff in or if

everything's charged then we'll go to like a park or something like that so we

went and we found a place by the side of a lake and there's a picnic table right

by the edge of the lake and it was super nice super peaceful and we hung out

there for a while and we got some work done while we were hanging out there

Taylor was at the picnic table working on a computer and this guy walks by with

a paddleboard and he was like did you bring your work to the lake and she was

like yeah I did he was like shame shame and then he just kept walking and Taylor

and I looked at each other like trying to figure out what he was talking about

so we had one idea that his understanding was that she couldn't get

away from her work and that even when we were out trying to play or rest that she

started to bring her work with her that her work was you know a sense of like

bondage like she was chained to it that's the only thing we could think of

why he would say shame shame and so from our perspective we take our work with us

wherever we go we work whenever we want to and we enjoy our work so much that we

want to do it all the time and so working for us isn't a burden it's not

something that you know is that we're trying to avoid or we're not living for

the weekend or anything like that and so it's just interesting the

perspective that that guy had and I think if he had known that we're

traveling full time and that we can work from wherever we want and so we chose to

work by the edge of a lake he would probably have a different response than

saying shame shame so anyways this is a little thought for today as we go about

traveling full-time and working from online it's just kind of changing our

perspective how people go to work and how there are different types of jobs

and tailoring I've never had a you know a job like this where we could work from

from anywhere so

thought I would share that with you guys I'm curious what you think so leave a

When I'm up there in the air, I am in my own world.

But I'm still aware of my surroundings.

I'm conscious of the whole performance space.

I didn't used to notice it before.

I could hear the music only very faintly.

I didn't even hear the audience.

I felt like I was in a pot with the lid on.

One thing I always love is going outdoors in the morning –

when most people are still asleep.

The silence.

My name is Jason Brügger and I'm an aerialist in the circus.

I started playing at circuses when I was a little boy.

And it has always been my dream

to turn my passion into my job.

The doctors advised me against becoming a circus artist.

They said it wasn't possible.

The problem with my ears has meant

that I have also had real difficulties with my balance.

I didn't even know if I would make it as a circus artist.

The atmosphere before a show is always really nice.

When you notice that things are about to get going.

The people are coming.

They're looking forward to it. They're excited.

As an artist, you're highly aware of the audience's energy.

You get so much from it,

and I think it's a real privilege

to stand up in front of a packed house every day.

You really get a lot from animals.

Day-to-day life in the circus is often stressful.

There's always something going on.

Whenever I'm with the animals, it calms me down –

especially before a show.

And it brings a bit of serenity into your day.

Then came the day when I finally got my hearing aids.

And I can still remember putting them on for the first time.

A whole world opened up to me again.

My life has changed so much since then.

I really enjoy life again. I do things.

I'm braver.

I'm part of the world again.

I'm constantly trying to look people in the eye.

And it's unbelievable when you can lock eyes perfectly with a person

and feel the connection.

I certainly hope that I can encourage other people

to believe in themselves with my story.

Even if you've been told something is beyond you for whatever reason,

you should believe in yourself anyway,

and fight for your dreams –

there's always a way to achieve what you want to do.

My 5 Fav Fun Fashion Styles & Accessories, mature women over 50 - Duration: 11:12.

Hey awesome ones! Heather here... so let's just get a little serious for a moment.

Life can be full of responsibilities and we have to be so efficient and

everything and that's why it's really important to put some fun in your life

every single day. Okay we're not gonna be serious anymore. I have this.... you might

have seen this on other videos that we've done, but I have this saying on the

front hall...hanging up in the front hall in our home and it's just a reminder

that many days are meant for playing. So how do I do that? How do I keep fun in my

life? Well one of the things that I do as you can see with my

Tigger shirt here is I put it into my day-to-day clothing, well at least the

fun days, you know where you're just having fun with family and friends and

that's what this video is all about. So let's get going on it.

So my number one way to put a little bit more fun in your life and your style, are

with my socks.....and as you can see here I've got my bear hug socks on so if the kids

are coming over to the house for dinner they know they're gonna get their bear

hugs, but also let's look at a few more.... they're are also cute dog socks.... alien socks....

under the sea socks.... hey these ones are kind of sparkly. I mean there are all

different kinds of socks I've got tons of them and I'm just gonna show off a few

more.... there's Christmas socks these two mean a lot to me because they make a

great Christmas gift. You know your kids .....why should they spend all kinds of money

on big presents for you when my daughters have got me.... one of my

daughters got me this popcorn one hey we just watched a movie last night and we

had popcorn so that's the thing that one of my daughters does with me is watch

movies. The other daughter really loves to go out and have sushi with me, so she

for one Christmas bought me these beautiful little sushi socks and you

know what's really important about all this?.... what's really important is that

these socks mean something sentimentally and when I wear them I'm usually maybe

watching a movie with one of my daughters or eating some sushi so that's

a great idea also as a gifts and hey guess what guys can wear their funny

socks too and don't kid yourself guys want to have fun and yeah you might not

see them sort of standing out there as far as the socks are concerned, but it's

a smile it really is. So my number two fun fashion item are earrings. Yeah you

know....take a look at what the day is..... if it's Valentine's Day put on some

hearts, if it's Halloween put on some scary earrings. Let me just

show you a few more that I've got here. I've got

these really cute little dolphin earrings, well here hold on for a second

let me just get these, they're all wrapped around but uh yeah they don't

even....these earrings they don't even hang the same length and I kind of like that

they're they're from a designer they weren't super expensive but they're so

cute....I've got crazy little dolphins...I have....did you see those? Sorry

oh they're not even dolphins they're penguins....there you go....haste makes waste.

I've also got some really cute little Mickey and Minnie ones, you know you go

into some of these.....you go into some of these little stores, maybe it's a craft

store or maybe it's, you know some kind of a little gift shop. If it's speaking

to you and it's a cute little pair of earrings get them, you know it really is

cute and of course how could I ever not have my little Tigger earrings. I'm

wearing the Tigger t-shirt right now and I love to wear him, I have him in glasses

and mugs, he's such a happy guy he's just so, you know what does he say....fun fun fun

fun fun, so you know that's, I just love that....now mind you I'm not gonna wear a

pair of Mickey and Minnie earrings to a power meeting or something like that, but

hey when I'm out with Bill or or with the kids or with friends, it just sort

of adds a little bit more humor to the day. So just before we get into the next

item, I just want to remind you that I'm going to try to find similar items of

these fun items, you know like the socks and that sort of thing,

but I'm not going to be able to find exact I know that for sure, but at least

it's a really good place to start. So what I'm going to do for a lot of the

items in this in this video I'm going to in the first comment link back to my

blog where I will show you where to find similar items....

and hey you know if you get something there thank you so much for supporting

the channel we really appreciate it. So my third fun fashion item is get

yourself a fun watch. You remember those Mickey and Minnie Mouse earrings that I

showed you just a few minutes ago, well when my first daughter was born okay

we're talking about maybe 30 years ago, Bill can you do a close-up on this for

us..... I purchased for myself this Mickey Mouse

watch and the reason that I got it was really to remind myself I wanted to be

even a little bit more childlike. I wanted to enjoy my time with her and

this Mickey Mouse watch now.... it...it's got me through all four of the kids....having

fun with them and I'm every time I look at the time I'm reminded to...to smile and

add a sense of laughter, sense of humor to their days and my Mickey Mouse watch

now....it sits quietly by and although I'm wearing it I know that

one day the grandchildren will come along and it's going to be there for

them too. It's a fun item but it's also very sentimental. So my fourth fun

fashion item would be your closing.... closing.... your clothing and you know I'm

gonna concentrate a little bit more just on tops and things like that but let's

take a look at some of these things that I consider to be fun.....do you remember those

days, hey do you remember the...the fringe tops, well everything old is new again

and these fringe jackets are actually very popular right now and I just love

this one. When I'm wearing it I....I just think fun. I also found this retro dress

now I do wear a pair of leggings underneath it, but oh when I put it on...

and so many people it just makes them smile too they're they're telling me how

much they love that little dress and they remember wearing things like

that a long time ago..... also I remember when I bought this little Yorkie top,

my daughter said you're not gonna wear that are you and oh yeah

hey I walk a little Yorkie dog so of course I'm gonna wear a funny little

shirt like this it makes me smile. Now the other thing that you can purchase as

well is....let's just say that you go to a great concert and they've got the

t-shirts there....well I feel fantastic and I'm thinking about the music when I'm

wearing some of these t-shirts and all of these were from concerts some of them

are looking actually a little bit old but, I wanted to share them with you

because when I when I wear these t-shirts I'm usually thinking about the

wonderful time I had or maybe I'm gonna put on the music and just live my 70s

and 80s again....so there you go. All right so last but not least....number five are

you know....fun Footwear and if you saw the boots video the stylish boost video that

I did....I'll put it up there somewhere, you may remember these polka-dotted rain

boots that I wore and hey do I wear these things....

I left the mud on just to show you that I've been splashing around in some....in

some puddles with them. I just absolutely love them and they come in all different

colors red and white and green and they come in flowers and abstract designs the

whole gambit.... you can also get them in a higher look and....but I just love these.

Now Bill if you want to take a look at my......I'll put those over there....take a look

at my feet here. Oh my gosh. I love these running shoes. You probably have seen

them before and I don't go with the high tops I like these because you know

they're a little less assuming....you can't really....they're just a cute pair of shoes

and they are so retro what they actually do, is they kind

of bring me back to my childhood and make me feel like a kid again and

there's nothing wrong with that. So I hope this video really helped you to

rethink how a few fun accessories and clothing can really just light up the

day, make it more fun for yourself and maybe even your loved ones as well and

your friends and I really hope that....that you start to really realize if you

haven't already that some days are really just meant for playing....and

talking about playing and keeping it fun and putting a smile on your face....our

Patriot Saves Lives - Duration: 1:44.

- I remember very distinctly,

the first barrage of scud missiles

came screaming out of Iraq

into Saudi Arabia,

and I remember our operators on the line

telling us that they had the scud missiles

on the scope,

that they were preparing for engagement,

and then all of a sudden

there was this huge blast.

I had fired a Patriot before,

but I had never been so close

to a Patriot launcher in a test fire.

In combat operations, you're right up

close and personal with it.

And when that missile took off,

I didn't know what had happened.

There was an immense amount of nerve,

inside, I think a little bit of anxiety,

probably a little bit of fear.

And about 15 to 20 seconds later,

the radio sounded off with,

'Scud missile successfully engaged.'

There was an exuberance

within the formation that I was leading,

the soldiers of Bravo Battery,

that we had successfully engaged a scud missile

with our Patriot system.

We repeated that several times

during that combat operation,

and every time that we successfully engaged

that scud missile,

you could feel and hear the confidence

of our soldiers, our coalition partners,

our nation,

rising with each successful engagement.

While you will hear or read some pundits

who will take some cheap shots at Patriot,

I would offer to you:
