Youtube daily what Nov 25 2017

Hi, I'm Susan Lapin. I'm here with my husband Rabbi Daniel Lapin and

We wanted to wish you a very Happy New Year.

This coming month is a month full of Jewish holidays

And we thought we might like - that we would like to share. We thought - we hope - you might be interested in some of the things

that lie behind the Jewish holidays behind/beneath the surface. Some of the things we do and you may even ask yourself well..

New Year? That comes in January.

Except coming up now is the Jewish New Year - of the year 5,778.

Rabbi Lapin: As a matter of fact, it starts this very Wednesday evening coming right up and

Jews around the world are celebrating it and what we wanted to

speak about for just a moment is the universal aspect of it.

Yes, it is the Jewish New Year;

but it's application is to everybody regardless of your background.

It's something you might be interested in as well.

Susan: I think the question people are probably having is five thousand seven hundred and seventy-eight years for what?

Five thousand seven hundred and seventy-eight years from, not the creation of the earth,

but from the moment that Adam

opened his mouth and started speaking. Who did Adam talk to?

Well, the only choice of that -

Susan: Well because once who showed up....well you know who did the talking.

RDL: You notice what Susan did just then, right? You saw that? Well that was exactly what Adam was aware of as well. And so

until Eve arrived and got a chance to talk; the only

entity could speak to was God himself. So we start timing it from the moment that the first human being

started his dialogue with God. And from that moment, it is now five thousand seven hundred and seventy-eight years.

Susan: I just want to say we're all aware everybody's had the experience of throwing a pebble into water

and you see the rings emanate out. when something cataclysmic happens, and Adam speaking was cataclysmic -

When something like that happened

rings emanating out also; not through space only

but through time. And so we still feel this time of year still has that special feel.

It's a special time when we speak to God when God listens to us. And of new beginnings that started an entire new year

RDL: And on a reduced level...

You know, people feel their birthdays, Americans feel the 4th of July, and so it is that deep down within us

We ought to really be able to also feel this moment

when when Adam began to speak and

When we when we get here the next time I'd like to tell you why it's called Rosh Hashanah which in Hebrew means

"Head of the Earth". Why isn't a new year? And that has something to do with the fact that this holiday

doesn't have a lot to do with party hats and having parties and being silly.

Something else rather interesting is going on like now

We're gonna tell you about that next time Susan: But for now we would like to wish you a year

of

5,778 filled with health, peace,

joy and prosperity.

Amen to that. I'm Rabbi Daniel Lapin, and this is Susan. We'll be back with you soon again.

Alright.

Let's try that again but this time a little bit slower.

Are you ready?

I noticed I left my luggages at the airport.

Could you catch it?

Alright.

Let's try that again but this time I will show you the sentence.

And you try to see if you can find a mistake.

I noticed I left my luggages at the airport.

Could you find it?

Alright, the answer is luggages.

We should say luggage not luggages.

The reason is luggage is uncountable.

So should not have an "s".

Alright?

So let's practice the correct version of this sentence together.

Please repeat after me.

I noticed I left my luggage at the airport.

Great.

Let's do that again.

Net Neutrality - Who? What? How? Why? - MGP News - Duration: 4:13.

What's up guys, it's Zachy Boy.

Today we'll be discussing a very important topic.

That's right, like Zach said we'll be discussing a very important topic which is - the fact

that Net Neutrality is on its last legs.

Let's watch a clip from CNET.

OK.

Net Neutrality is the principle that all traffic on the internet should be treated equally.

So regardless if you're checking your facebook, you're posting pictures on instagram or you're

streaming movies uh, from, um amazon or netflix, that All that traffic is created equal.

So basically what she was saying is that Net Neutrality is the law that all of the internet

is treated equally.

The Net Neutrality law was passed in 2015, so the FCC enforced the equality of all websites

and internet usage types.

This means the FCC was protecting your right to get to all internet services.

Under the- the 2015 rules,the-the FCC basically protected your- your right to get to all this

content.

So you might be wondering "What is going to happen now?".

Let's check the clip.

Now, the FCC has essentially, um, repealed those rules.

And the biggest thing that it's done is it has changed the classification of broadband.

Which was, the legal foundation of the 2015 rules.

And this, essentially, um, says that the FCC really doesn't have, uh, any authority over

policing the internet.

Now you might be thinking "Well this all sounds bad, but what is really going to happen?".

Well, nothing has officially happened yet, but in 19 days from now, the FCC are going

to plan a vote.

And i think the real fear here, is that in a few years that if you have all these broadband

companies um controlling your access to things that your internet might look like a cable

network, instead of y'know the openness that we see today.

The FCC have to officially vote on this proposal.

And because there are three republicans on the commission and only 2 democrats, uh, it's

very likely in almost 100% certain that it's going to pass.

The vote will be on December 14th, so at that point, that's when the rules will be repealed.

And then after that, I am pretty sure we are gonna see some court cases, y'know the consumer

advocates have all vowed that they're gonna take this to court.

And they feel like they have a pretty good chance of winning here.

They don't think that the FCC has the legal ability to change its mind on these rules

as quickly as it has.

Usually when you see agencies institute rules, y'know you don't get to change them just because

there's been an election and that's what they're saying has happened here.

Look, I know that all sounds pretty bad, but, we have 19 days left at the time of uploading

to get as many people as possible to write e-mails to congress, and urge them to stop

the FCC's plan, which is really the best we can do for, um, maintaining an open and free

internet for everyone.

So please, we urge you to head over to battleforthenet.com and write an e-mail to congress urging them

to stop FCC's plan before December 14th.

What To Do When You're Broke - Stop Being Broke - Duration: 7:54.

You want to accomplish so much in your life but the bank account you know says

there's no hope. Listen, if you've ever been broke, this is

the perfect time to watch this video to make sure that we can help pull you out

of that mode and immediately into a mindset that can free you from the

bondage of broke.

I could sit here for ten hours and say the same statement over and over again

and I'm going to hope and pray that it hits you with impact eventually.

What you think about the most, you bring about. Said a different way,

what you focus on expands.

The problem with being broke is that you can be broken, you can be poor.

One is a mindset and one is the condition of your bank account but once

you're broken up here, you can get stuck in this rut where you stay there over

and over and over and over and over and over again because what are you focusing on?

You're focusing on bills, you're focusing on not enough money,

you're focusing on how you've already spent it and how you're behind and you wonder ten

years later, why am I still so behind when I try to get better jobs or I try

to get a raise? I got news for you because what you think about expands and

if you're in the broke mindset it's, because you're focusing on the one thing

that you want the least. Bills, you must pay attention to them and if you don't,

you'll only dig yourself further and further into the hole and yet how you

feel about bills is going to determine whether they are easy to pay and you get

ahead or whether they only sink you deeper and deeper and deeper into debt.

You keep doing the same spending behavior as long as you're focusing on

the exact same things. If you don't change your thoughts, then your

pocketbook can't change and your thought changing this will always perceive what

happens in your bank account. If you don't face this reality, you can't fix

this reality because your reality and the ether and everything made up of it

is all stemmed from energy.

Listen, it's going to sound woohoo for just a second

but listen, there are atoms in this couch right here and they vibrate at a

frequency and every single thing in this home and everything on the screen that

you're looking at, even I, I'm vibrating a frequency, I'm no different than all of

the atoms on the rest of this planet. Just for a moment, you've heard the

phrase "quantum physics" Here's all it means, everything is energy and we are

understanding our world scientifically on the deepest level based on a theory

and a philosophy that is proving out really well right now that says this,

everything is energy so by the way, what energy are you giving off by being broke

or poor or focusing on bills? If you're like the

people that I meet on a pretty daily basis then you have your bills that's

your physical reality and you're matching it with a mental reality that

all it does is nosedive you deeper and deeper and deeper into sadness,

depression you might be medicating with food, with drugs, pornography or doing

something to distract yourself from the horrible awful reality that every single

time you go to the mailbox or your spouse does, you're just waiting for that

phone call or that text or that message that says, you're behind, you got to find

out a way to pay this thing and it is consuming you, that's the reality that

you got to face and right now, we're gonna talk about how you change it.

Practical advice is not what you need right now. If you're struggling with broke,

what you need is a new mental reframe. So for just a moment,

let me address that.

It's possible to find just as much joy in having every bill paid,

getting ahead and having everything that you want and it's possible to feel just

as much joy when you're not experiencing the abundance that you want when

you're behind on bills and trying to figure out how to actually come up with

money for food.

Now I know that that sounds like a crazy stretch.

Kris, what do you mean that you can be joyful in both of those circumstances?

If you have a conditional relationship with money, it looks like this, when I have money,

I'm happy. When I don't, I'm not. I'm telling you right now, that mindset stinks and it

needs to be upgraded. This is what creates broke in the mind, it makes you broken.

Instead, try on a minimalistic point of view or rather like a vagabond.

A vagabond is a person that travels around the world on a very minimal

budget and they live to travel and they can spend weeks or months at a time

being everywhere but they're without the luxuries of life. It is amazing how

luxurious our society is living right now and minimalism is the practice that

says, what do you really need to be happy? Is what you need based on what's outside

of you? Is it based on the car that you drive? Or the things that you have? Or the

house that you live in? Or the places that you can travel to? Because I'm

surprised at how easy it is for so many people to find the deep joy that they're

searching for without the whole money thing. There's a Keeping Up With The

Joneses problem that is identified with this broke mindset mentality that needs

to be shifted and adjusted. Now pause and hold yourself.

If you were starting to argue with me like, "Oh my gosh. This guy doesn't know

what he's talking about. I'm so triggered. I'm so upset right now.

He doesn't even know."

Brother, sister, I come from poverty. I know what it is to

be deeply in debt. I know what it is to have a broken financial mindset so just

sit back and listen.

You need to start paying yourself first instead of

focusing on your bills, focus on paying yourself.

Number two, create a rainy day fund

even when there's no money for it, I promise that you can do it, you can walk

the streets and find a couple of quarters to rub together on the ground.

People are living in such luxurious lifestyles way beyond their means.

What are the skill sets needed to make money, that's where you want to put your focus

on what can you do to create wealth and create value as opposed to the energy

that goes into "We don't have enough" and broke and their victimhood and I need

more and the world owes me and I'm not getting it.

Stop watching Netflix. Cancel Netflix.

You need that money, keep looking for new ways to add value, you can still

have confidence when you're broke and that's the most important thing for you

to gain from this, is that the difference between broke and poor, they're not the

same thing. Broke is a mental state and poor is a temporary financial condition

that can become permanent if you don't learn how to master the mind.

Step into deep gratitude. Do you know why I know that you have everything that you need?

Because you're watching this video, that means that you have a phone or a

computer or internet.

Look in the mirror, you're likely not naked right now, are you?

I can't tell. You have clothing, you're breathing which is a miracle but

it also means you have food in your belly

and you've been fed which means that you're probably not living on the street.

Friends, you are already amongst the richest people on the planet. Get out of

the mindset that says "more" It's the mantra of the ego that craves for a

need of the things that it doesn't have and for just a moment, are you able to

recognize that you are wealthier than kings and history past? Are you in a

space to recognize that you have been so tremendously blessed?

Break the mental bondage that says "bills, bills, broke, behind, can't, never going to

make it, not enough, disappointing everybody"

Those are choices and they're not choices based on your financial circumstances,

they're choices based on decisions that you're making and I'm telling you right now,

that you can join me and become one of the crazy ones that discovers just

how joyful life is with or without.

Don't be broke,

don't be broke, it's an option and a really bad choice like my singing.

Friends, I hope you enjoyed today's video, it is true, I'm a bit of a derby derby

nerd but I love who I am, I love what I do and I love you.

If It's Not a New Year What Is It? - Duration: 3:43.

Hi, I'm Susan Lapin with my husband Rabbi Daniel Lapin.

We're here to discuss the Jewish holidays that come through this year, and I think in the last video

We did you spoke that we would discuss the very first one that comes up of the Jewish New Year.

Called - which is not really called the Jewish New Year -

It's really called the "head of the year". Rosh Hashanah. RDL: In the Lord's language, Rosh Hashanah, and "rosh" means head;

so it's the head of the year. And

Immediately you get the idea that this is not party time.

But the relationship between this biblical festival and the rest of the year is

exactly the same as the relationship

between the head, and the rest of the body. In other words, in ancient Jewish

wisdom that parallel is the horse and the rider.

The head is the rider the rest of our body is the horse; and the question is who's in charge?

Who's going to be directing things? And the idea is, that the head should direct the body, rather than the body being in charge by

itself. And

similarly that the Rosh Hashanah this holiday that begins

the year, should start off the year, set the patterns for how the rest of the year is going to go.

Susan: I think one of the ways one of the things that makes us very sad is when we hear people say oh the Jewish holidays

are very somber.

There's a big difference between

Serious and somber that somehow lost in our society.

They're very joyful. Rosh Hashanah is an extremely joyful holiday. It is serious.

It's setting the pattern for the year. It's a time when we say God

please give us another year. We may have messed up last year, but we really would appreciate the opportunity to do better.

Please give us another year in which to show you we can do better. Well. That's very joyful.

That's a very exciting thing; and there's not a contradiction between that and serious.

RDL: not at all. And

another thing to bear in mind is that at the beginning of the year

relatively small matters can really impact in in a very big way.

And these are some of the things we're going to look a little bit further in the series.

Where we talk about some of the things we do on Rosh Hashanah. We eat apple and honey;

Why why would we do that?

But even more importantly than that, we blow a ram's horn called the shofar. And

maybe Susan will even let me demonstrate to you my

my minimalistic skills in that area. But it doesn't matter because

The the idea is the thing. But how do these things impact our year. We'll talk a little bit about that as well.

Susan: I just want to make the point that I think

sadly many many Jews have a very childish relationship with with God and with their religion. And

so a lot of times, what you see in the popular culture will show this very serious person in rabbinical garb

Blowing a shofar for children or children dipping apples and honey. Well that's something we do even if there are no children around.

It's not something childish.

It's actually something very adult. In the same way that when a child is conceived,

every single

minuscule thing that happens during that conception really matters. RDL: Let's go into that in more detail on the next video.

Let's rather do that; and meanwhile right now, just let's wish all of you a fantastic

5,778; beginning this Wednesday night. A new year of health, happiness, and prosperity.

What evidence shows that it is probable that both God and evil exist? - Duration: 3:28.

Ankerberg: Alright, Bill, let's change hats and go back to our outline here and say that

the third reason that shows that it's probable that God exists and also allows evil to exist

is the full scope of the evidence.

Craig: Exactly.

When the atheist says that it's improbable that God exists, we immediately need to ask

ourselves, improbable relative to what?

You see, probabilities are always relative to background information.

For example, let's suppose that Sven is a young Swedish fellow, and that its 90% probable

that young Swedish fellows ski.

Well, relative to that background information, that makes it highly probable that Sven is

a skier.

But now, suppose that we acquire the additional background information that Sven is a double

amputee, and that 95% of Swedish double amputees do not ski.

Well, now, suddenly relative to this new background information, it's highly improbable that

Sven is a skier.

So when someone says: "It's improbable that God exists," you need to immediately

ask, "Improbable with respect to what?"

With respect to the evil and suffering in the world?

Well, if that's all you consider for your background information, it's no wonder God's

existence would look improbable relative to that alone.

But that's not the really interesting question, is it?

The interesting question is, relative to the full scope of the background information,

is God's existence probable?

And I'm persuaded that when you consider the full scope of the information relative

to God's existence, then God's existence turns out to be quite probable, even given

any improbability that evil and suffering might be thought to throw upon His existence.

Ankerberg: There are several bits of information that you say support what you've just said.

Tell us about them.

Craig: In my debates and articles I've defended a number of arguments for God's existence.

For example, I think that God is the best explanation of why the universe exists, rather

than nothing.

I think God is the best explanation of the origin of the universe at a point in the finite

past.

I think God is the best explanation of the fine-tuning of the universe for intelligent

interactive life.

I think God is the best explanation for the existence of objective moral values and duties

in the world.

And I would argue that God is the best explanation for the historical facts concerning the life,

death and resurrection of Jesus.

So that when you consider the full scope of the background information, I think these

arguments make it very probable that God exists, even given any improbability that evil and

suffering might be thought to throw upon the existence of God.

Those who propound the problem of evil typically assume there's nothing on the other side

of the scale.

But, in fact, I think there's preponderant evidence for the existence of God on the other

side of the scale that simply outweighs any improbability that results from evil and suffering.

What Is The Meaning Of Life Without God? (Dr. William Lane Craig) - Duration: 3:34.

This meme says "Oh, so you believe in God? Yes, then please tell me why my life as atheist is meaningless."

Hello this is Dr. William Lane Craig and this is Whaddo You Meme??

In answering this problem, I think it's important to distinguish

between ultimate significance and relative significance

Certainly the events and projects that we undertake in

life can be relatively significant

For example, if your goal is to become a great baseball player and hit 60 home

runs in a season then it will be very meaningful for you to engage in practice

and diet and workouts and so forth in order to achieve that goal

But when you ask about the ultimate significance or meaning of something, why does it matter

whether you hit 60 home runs in the season? What's the ultimate significance of that?

And whatever you pick, what is the ultimate significance of any

event in human history if everything is doomed to end in death?

Atheist philosophers such as Friedrich Nietzsche Bertrand Russell and Jean-Paul Sartre

argued that because atheism is true ultimately nothing really matters

Ultimately everything ends up the same regardless of what you do

Scientists tell us that the universe is expanding and as it does so it grows colder and colder

Eventually all the stars will burn out there will be no light

there will be no heat, there will be no life; just the carcasses of dead stars and

galaxies ever expanding into the endless blackness

This is not science fiction. This is the way reality is if there is no God.

Now since everything is doomed to end if death

what ultimate meaning significance can there be to any of the events that we undertake in human history?

Indeed, what is the ultimate significance of the human race as a whole since it is doomed to extinction?

No matter what we do.

It's hard to avoid the conclusion of these atheist philosophers

that life on atheism is ultimately meaningless

So the next time that someone says to you that life without God is meaningful, help them to

understand the difference between a mere subjective experience of meaning

and an objective ultimate meaning in life.

The claim here is that ultimately there is

no objective significance or meaning the human existence. And that is a claim not

made by religious conservatives. That is a claim made by many atheists themselves

So the next time that someone says that like without God is just as meaningful

what should I say?

We know that Goku spends most of his life training.

And from Dragonball to Dragonball Z ,when they fight on Namek, 20 something years have

passed.

That means that Goku has been training for more than 15 years up to this point.

Frieza on the other hand had never really trained.

He was just a prodigy with an insane power level even on his first form.

And when they faced each other on Namek, Frieza was the most powerful of all.

And if it wasn't for Goku turning into a super Saiyan, Frieza would've won.

But let's say that he did train like Goku.

What would've happened?

Let's go back in time to whenever Frieza was younger.

Since his father, King cold was a king, he would've had state of the art training facilities.

He would've been training day in and day out.

So, he would've been training for a lot of years up to the point where he meets the Saiyans.

He would probably still have them do his dirty work , just like it happened, but there wouldn't

have been any reason to destroy them because not in 1 million years they would've gotten

as strong as he was and he was becoming.

But let's say that he did destroy them because he didn't want anybody that could envolve

and get stronger alive.

So the timeline doesn't change much, the only thing that changes is that he's training for

20 something more years before he goes to Namek.

Now, he's already a gazillion times stronger than Goku even on his first form.

So when the fighters arrive on Namek, they have no chance.

He would've killed every single one of them with no problem.

Goku probably would've become a super Saiyan earlier after learning that Frieza had killed

all his friends and son.

But that wouldn't have mattered.

Freiza would have destroyed him too.

Also Frieza would've collected the Dragon balls but wouldn't have gotten the wish because

of the language barrier.

So maybe since he would've been so upset about not being able to make the wish, he

would've transform straight to gold maybe to some other transformation that he discovers.

And fueled with rage, he would've destroyed the planet with everybody in it.

Frieza would've escaped but now he was so mad because his dreams of becoming immortal

were crushed so he goes straight for Earth to destroy it(since Goku and the others came

from there).

Meanwhile during his trip he continues to train.

He arrives on earth but Trunks is not there to protect it because Vegeta wasn't brought

back to life.

Even if he was there he wouldn't of mattered.

Because Frieza would be ridiculous at the point.

So Blows up earth just like he did with planet Vegeta.

From there he goes on to conquer the universe.

So let me know what you think would've happened if Frieza had trained like Goku

What Is An Atheist? What is an Agnostic? What Do Atheists Believe? - Duration: 10:04.

The human race has come a long way since we first crawled out of the oceans over the past few centuries in particular

Scientific and technological knowledge has increased so dramatically the things we once accepted as fact now seem ridiculous at least to most of us

Where once we thought the earth was flat and that the Sun orbited around us we now know that our home

Planet is a globe itself orbiting around the Sun along with seven other planets

We can predict with 100% certainty when celestial phenomena such as total eclipses and comets will occur

We've traveled to the moon aback launched probes into outer space and are continuing to advance our knowledge of the universe at a breakneck pace

We communicate globally without so much as a thought transmitting information and misinformation across the globe in a fraction of a second

We have created a worldwide repository of everything we know as well as the things we think and believe

It used to take months even years to travel distances that we now can cover in less than a day

Despite all this there is so much. We've yet to learn we will continue to advance for better, or worse

thanks to the wonder of science and technology the

Biggest problem is we take it all for granted

for whatever

Reason we continue to labor under the delusion of what we have learned about our universe can somehow live in perfect harmony with our

superstitions and mythologies

Since the beginning of humanity. We've been searching for the answers to the biggest question of all

Why are we here? What's life all about?

What is the meaning of life

Of course our desire to answer these questions far exceeded our ability to actually do so

Therefore we looked up at the skies and made up a bunch of stories

Then we slapped a label on our stories and persecuted the people who didn't believe them

As humans were addicted to these labels that

Divide us and serve to tell other people exactly what we believe about the world we find ourselves in

How else would we know which box to put you in without these labels?

Christian Buddhist Muslim Hindu these are all identifiers z' for our persons belief system

We seem to have a hard time letting go of these long

Believes all the while making excuses for them and continuing to afford them an importance that they are no longer owed

To that end we have even developed a thick-headed approach to the notion of non religion

For a shocking majority of us the idea of someone not believing in a sky magician is mind-boggling

The word atheists and the manner in which that word is used is at least partly responsible

For this disconnect and understanding it is the tool with which religious leaders in adherence sow discord and confusion

And keep their followers in line it has become itself a label often serving the same purpose as religious ones

That word is usually implied as itself being something a person believes an ideology

If I asked you right now to tell me what an atheist is you'd almost certainly reply

Well an atheist is someone who believes there is no God

And that regard religion has succeeded in their goal that is precisely what they want you to think it means

See most people think that everyone has to have a belief system an ideology to explain the meaning of everything

These people can't accept not having the answers

The very notion of non belief causes the cures and a theist had to come to a grinding halt

How can someone not believe in something?

Surely an atheist believes that there isn't to God since we have no way of proving that deities somewhere out there. Don't exist I

Call this fallacious thinking appeal to agnosticism

And I'll be doing a video specifically on that subject in the future however right now

I want to clear up a few concepts that I think are vastly

Misunderstood and which are frequently used by people who have no idea what they actually mean

I'd like to start with belief because that word is the root of it all belief is a subjective

Acceptance of something as personal truth, whether there is evidence to support such acceptance or not

By contrast of fact is an objective statement based on empirical evidence, which supports his veracity

It is knowledge that we have gained through careful study and observation

Therefore religion is a belief system

Originating from and dictated by a doctrine in the form of a book or collection of books so traditions and stories passed down through generations

Which seeks to offer an explanation in historical can of earthly existence as well as mandating a set of rules for followers to adhere to?

Often but not always this involves at least one deity or God if you will who created everything and is being worshipped

Now we come to a big one a word that almost nobody understands

But many happily declare the word agnostic comes from the Greek root a meaning without and the Greek word Gnostic meaning knowledge

That's all it means without knowledge

People who claim to be agnostic seem to think that it is something of a middle position between theism and atheism

And by using it they're hedging their bets by not directly declaring that there are no gods

Which is what they think it means to be an atheist in

Reality most of these people are atheists by definition a theist without a backbone

So what exactly does it mean to be a non-believer well simply put it means that a person?

Refuses to accept a particular subject as fact owing to dubious claims and a lack of factual knowledge unsaid subject

Think of it television by default the TV is turned off

there is no picture or sound you have to turn it on if you want to watch it a

Non-believer is like a TV in the default off scene. They're simply refusing to turn on a thought process for an unproven idea

Therefore atheism is the absence of belief in the existence of one or more gods?

the word comes from a the Greek root a meaning without and the Greek word theism meaning the belief in a god or gods a

Theist does not mean you believe there are no gods there may or may not be such a supernatural being somewhere out in space

But an atheist does not actively believe in any

This is best illustrated by the popular saying everyone is born an atheist until someone starts lying to them

You see saying that there are definitely

No

Gods is an absolute and that absolute and of itself is unproven and unprovable

You would have to choose to believe or accept. It as a personal fact without any proof that there are no gods

That's not what an atheist is by definition

Being an atheist is to say I don't believe your ridiculous claims for the existence of a god

Or gods as there's no evidence to support such a belief of

Course if someone provided empirical evidence for the existence of one or more deities there would be no argument it would be a fact like

Gravity and evolution that everyone would have to accept and the person who provided that evidence could collect their Nobel Prize

Securing the knowledge that their magic sky, daddy is real

Until such an unlikely event occurs. I don't believe you

Many non-believers or atheist if you must myself included will vigorously declare that none of the deities worshiped by humans

past or present

Exists this of course is based on the very doctrines that gave rise to the belief in these deities in the first place

coupled with a sufficient understanding of the natural world science and technology I

Have no qualms at all saying with certainty that the judeo-christian god, Hashem, Yahweh

Allah does not exist the same could be said for Native American spirits Hindu gods and goddesses and all other man-made deities

Suffice it to say that even while I happily claimed that these gods do not exist

There's still no way I can say that no gods exist

To really get my meaning. Let's use Christianity as an example because it's something we're pretty much all familiar with

It's safe to say that all Christians believe in God believe that this god created everything

Including the first man and woman who populated the earth

That he then a few thousand years later created a human version of himself by impregnating a virgin and that this human being

Was murdered by Romans at the behest of the Jews

Not only that but they all believed that their gods

Human doppelganger rose from the dead and flew up to heaven and that this death and symbolic rebirth are metaphors for divine forgiveness

Now this isn't a gross generalization

It comes directly from the Christian doctrine

Which you may know is the Bible if you don't believe these fundamentals of the religion you're not a Christian

When we compare non belief with the Christian belief system the differences become glaringly obvious

Owing to the fact that atheism isn't actually a thing having no common belief system

Ideology or set of rules the only thing that all atheists have in common is a lack of belief in Adi

He realize the biggest problem why do we even have a word to describe a lack of belief in something

I'm certainly in a Bigfoot is an a Loch Ness monstrous and also an a vampiress

Wait those words don't actually exist do they?

They don't exist because there's absolutely no need for them some people believe in Bigfoot the Loch Ness monster and vampires

But there's no reason to label the people who don't believe in those things

Likewise it's equally ridiculous to label someone who doesn't believe in a deity and doesn't have a religious ideology and that

My friends is non belief in a nutshell

Meet My Furbabies! What I'm Thankful for This Year! - Duration: 4:36.

Hey guys, its Jo! So, todays videos going to be a little bit different!

Today is the day after thanksgiving so today I wanted to take a moment to introduce

you to something that I am most thankful for and that is, in part, the wonderful members

of my family.

My husband is not around so I can't introduce you to him, but I would like to introduce

you to the furbabies who often crash the videos – I've received a lot of comments that

people really like seeing them, so I thought I'd introduce you to them.

To Sadie, Sophie, and Monkey, our three dogs, who you can actually hear playing in the background

right now and also bonus of Lewis and Lady Cakes, our wonderful cats who lurk upstairs.

It's the day after Thanksgiving and so I thought that I would share you a few, a few

things about my life that I am incredibly grateful for and have been really healing

to my journey and as you can hear are playing very loudly downstairs.

So lets go meet them!

Alright, so we have Sadie and Monkey right here, Sadie's a German Shepherd with floppy

ears, stretching it out, good girl, and our little Monkey is heading over to steal a toy

or just look adorable (good girl!).

Here is little Sophie behind her chewing on an antler – she loves those.

This is my sweet little Sadie.

She's my little buddy for everything.

She is about seven now, I have had her the longest, I got her a couple weeks after everything

initially happened after my assault.

She's been my protector, my best friend and my little baby ever since.

She's such a good dog.

Sweet little Monkey is such a good little dog, she'll just curl up with you literally

all-day long.

Whenever I'm having a rough day, or not feeling good, she's right there with me.

And she just turned six not that long ago.

We don't really know what kind of dog she is, but who cares, I got her when she was about

a year and a half years old…Hi there Sunshine…and she is just the love of our life.

Aw look at that yawn!

This is Miss Sophie.

Sophie is the newest member of our family.

She is an eight-month-old German Shepherd puppy.

She might be purebred, she might be not, we don't really care we just know that she

is adorable and super, super sweet.

She spends most of her time driving her big sisters nuts – doesn't she, huh, Sophers,

isn't that right, isn't that right?

And she has so much energy!

Loves jumping and running and guarding her mama.

Puppies love Christmas time…they get lots of toys.

We kind of spoil them at Christmas.

As you can see, they kind of make a mess out of the living room sometimes, but that's

their job, they're puppies, so our cushions are thrown everywhere.

But at least they don't eat them!

So that's something!

So let's take a look at the kitties upstairs!

Here are our lovely kitties.

This is Baby Lewis, he looks harmless but he will sneak up and give you all kinds of

kisses in the middle of the night when you are trying to sleep.

Aw, looks like they are a little camera shy!

Look who is feeling a little less camera shy now that I'm, now that I'm upstairs again.

She loves the bathroom, every time I get ready in the morning she comes and purrs against

me because she's a sweetheart.

Cakes!

Yeah, she talks all the time.

Thank you guys so much for taking a few minutes to meet all the furbabies of my family, I

am so incredibly grateful for them, we, we both are.

I really hope that you get to meet Brian one day.

He said that one day he'll be on camera with me which I am really excited for, he

is the most incredible man and I'm really excited for you to meet him one day.

But until then, I'm just really grateful that you were able to meet some other members

of our furbaby family.

So thank you so much, I really hope that the beginning to your holiday season went smoothly,

easily, I know that it can be really challenging like I said in my last video, for a lot of

us, so whether it was hard or whether it was easy, way to make it through it!

I'm really proud of you, I'm really happy that you're here, and I really look forward

to talking to you next time.

Oppression Recoils, What is Duty? - Duration: 2:00.

OPPRESSION RECOILS The enslaved sections of the social set-up

may suffer in silence but their thought-waves of misery would gather force in time and tackle

the oppressors who would thereby lose their prosperity and peace.

Hence you should refrain from tyrannising over the ignorant, the poor and the weakened

in society.

You should instead work to better their lot and enjoy peace in turn through love and compassion.

WHAT IS DUTY?

We owe our growth and status only to the society

that nurtured and brought us up through its labours manifold.

In return we render service physically and mentally

and this conscious clearance of dues is what is called Duty.

• Ere embarking on action

you should assess the consequence which would follow for sure

in the form of pleasure or pain.

Unthinking action is not the way of the wise,

as experience in the past would have taught you without fail.
