Sarpy Chiropracic - Is it genes or is it lifestyle? - Duration: 2:09.
Hey guys, Dr. Rodney White here with another episode of the Sarpy Chiropractic
v-log. So, let's discuss genetics. A lot of people come in to us and they say, "I've
got arthritis because of my genes, I've got hip problems because my dad and
my granddad did, I've got metabolic issues because my
mother does." And yes, genes are very important in a
lot of our health outcomes but there's something even more important than genes,
there's a whole bunch of research in the field called epigenetics and what
they're actually studying is what causes the our genes to switch on or off. You
see, just because you have a gene that says you don't like brussel sprouts or
you have a gene that says you'll get a certain type of cancer, it doesn't mean
that gene will actually express. It takes your environment and your lifestyle to
trigger that gene and the greatest news about all of that, means if you can turn
a gene on, you can also turn it off. So just because arthritis runs in your
family, doesn't mean it's going to run you. You might have a similar lifestyle or
environment to the family members who had it or it might be such a strong gene
that you have to go extremely opposite in terms of health to fight that. But
except for only about 2/3 percent of health issues, we're talking actual
genetic defects, everything else from blood pressure, to pain, to arthritis, to
weight problems, all of that, there is always going to be an answer for you to
switch off those genes. So don't ever give up and blame your genetics because
then you are stuck, you've got nothing else to do but be a victim to your genes.
If you can go at it with the accountability of it's your environment,
your lifestyle, you can always search and find an answer and that to me is one of
the most exciting things you can know about your own health. So please share
this content with anyone who feels stuck and is being bullied by their body and
let them know there's another way, hit the like button, subscribe to our YouTube
channel if you haven't already, and please have a great day!

Cure Psoriasis 5 : Lifestyle and Mental State - Duration: 2:37.
Speaking of some diseases nowadays,
we`ll always mention the patients` lifestyle
and whether he stays up late or has huge pressure.
These factors have a great influence
on psoriasis patients, don`t they?
It is recorded the incidence of psoriasis rose sharply
during the First and Second World Wars.
How did that happen?
People could not keep regular hours
and lived under high pressure in wartime,
because they would be killed by bombs at any time. Am I right?
As a result, the incidence of psoriasis rose sharply.
Obviously, psoriasis occurred much more frequently
in wartime than in peacetime.
It can show that the disease is closely related to mental factors.
Fatigue, staying up late and irregular lifestyle
can all lead to endocrine disorders,
which will then weaken the immune system.
As a result, psoriasis will be triggered.
In this internet age,
many young people can`t live without their cell phones.
They often stay up late
to grab `red envelopes` on their phones.
It is really a bad habit.
I have told the citizens that
our bio-clock is inherited from our ancestors.
Instead of being developed in this age.
But some people may disagree.
Once a young man said to me,
`Professor Zhan, you are wrong.
I can`t fall asleep before midnight. I has become my habit`.
I replied, `No, you are wrong.
Your bio-clock is inherited. You have changed,
because you have been accustomed to staying up late.
However, your bio-clock can`t change.
We mentioned cells just now.
When will our cells begin to grow?
At 6.00 p.m.
After you are injured or operated on,
the cells at your wound won`t grow at once.
Generally speaking, they will start to grow at 6.00 p.m.
according to the result of experts` research.
When will they grow fastest?
From 10.00 p.m. to 2.00 a.m. of the next day is their growth peak.
It can be seen that you should have
a good rest during this period
As long you have a good rest,
your body will have enough energy
to cope with the disease.
But if you are still watching your cell phone
and staying up late or play the stock market,
your energy will be distracted.
As a person`s energy is limited,
your energy used to cope with the disease
will be decreased as a result.
it`s important for the treatment of psoriasis
to keep a regular life and diet.
Every day, one septillionth of all the newborn cells
in your body are tumor cells.
Based on scientific studies,
if one septillionth of all the newborn cells
in your body become abnormal,
they may evolve into tumors or psoriasis.
But if your body is healthy,
it can eliminate these abnormal cells itself.
Actually, psoriasis occurs in your body each day.
But because your body is healthy enough
you have no symptoms at all.
