One of the most popular questions I am

asked on Money to the Masses. Now I

don't have a crystal ball

neither does the market despite the fact they

try and guess all the time and have done for

the last seven years and got it wrong.

What I'd say are there are a few tips, things to

look out for that may give an indication

of when interest rates my go up.

So keep an eye on news stories to do with

inflation. When inflation goes up it's

much more likely that interest rates will

rise. So if we get a prolonged period of

high inflation and you keep seeing it in

the news there's a good chance that rates

could start going up. Another thing is Mark

Carney who is the governor of the Bank

of England and they're the guys who

actually set our interest rates and they

like to drop hints before interest rates

might go up or down to try and prepare the

market because actually the preparation

of the market is just as important because they

don't want to shock things and stop

everybody spending money if they think

they're going to have less money if their

mortgage goes up. So keep an eye on what

Mark Carney and the Bank of England are also saying.

Think of it like a box which you

can put your investments in and

it enables them to grow tax-free, you don't pay tax

on the income or any gains that you have.

Now this box everyone has one they can

put stuff in every year, they get a box in effect

but if you don't use it you lose it. So

it's just a wrapper, something

you can put your investment in and

that will be typically cash or that can be

stocks and shares hence the name or

funds. So Stocks and Shares ISAs you

get an allowance every year make sure you use

it or you will lose it

This is probably one of the questions

that most advisors and wealth managers

struggle with because it's the

million dollar question where are you going

to put it. Are you going to buy property with your

money are you going to buy UK shares, American shares

bonds? There's going to be different

allocations for different people

depending on your risk. If you're a risky

kind of person, you like a bit of risk

then you may want to

buy things like shares or if you are risk

averse you might like to stick to cash.

So in order to answer that because I'm asked it

so often I built a calculator, so it's a

bit blue peter he is one that I prepared

earlier. I built a calculator where you

can put in your age and you adjust it

for the kind of risk you like and it

will push out a dummy portfolio

showing you where to put your money in

terms of equities, if its in the UK, abroad,

property, cash. Its not advice but it's

just an example. So go and check the link below this video.

My first car is here - Ford Mondeo MK1 2.0 Zetec 136PS - Duration: 4:03.

Hey! Wanna see my first car?

Because it's here.

I don't own it anymore but

the BMW was in the shop

to fix front brakes

and I got a spare car that still runs in my family

and it was in fact my first car.

So let me show it to you.

It's a Ford Mondeo MK1.

2.0-liter petrol engine, ZETEC.

136 horse power.

It's from 1993 so it's almost old enough to have the yellow number plates.

So, maybe next year. To fit the paint job on this car.

It's not in the best condition right now. And it looked better when I was driving it.

But let's check how it starts after the years.

Here's the milage on this car.

Let's check how it runs.

And by the way: I don't remember this key.

This is a different key. I didn't have the red key in this car before.

And the ignition is kind of...

kind of strange also.

Let me open the door to... yeah... to hear it better.

And...

Works like a charm!

Oh!

Here's the key I remember!

I don't think that you should keep it in the car.

OK, that's enough.

Interior is a little bit of a mess.

Paint job is not that good anymore.

But this color is original

original Ford color. It's called Citrine Geel.

And the front bumper that was here is not anymore

because this car was too low for the curbs.

It's a shame, because it was an original

original Ford RS bumper.

Back in the days when I was driving this car

I made couple mods for it.

I was preparing bixenon front lights for it.

Because Ford Mondeo lights are rubbish.

I also wanted to do a "Need For Speed" shift light for this car.

In fact even made the prototype.

I was so surprised that this car still runs and pretty well

after all those years and all this mileage and the body condition.

So I was using my old car (my first car) for few days and got pretty nostalgic.

Fixed few things because it's a working car and nobody cares about the condition other than the engine.

I fixed number plates lights and few bulbs that were missing in the interior.

This car needs some more love, but...

OK. That''s it for today. See you later.

Here's My Canada: A New Nation - Duration: 0:27.

We as a nation have become much more diverse.

Acceptance towards other cultures, races and genders.

Because of our previous history--

--when we only let British descent fight--

--in the war.

Black Canadians, Aboriginals, Japanese--

--were not allowed to fight in war.

Certain ethnicities as--

--enemy aliens put them in camps--

--and took their rights away.

All of this disrespect--

--has certainly helped shaped Canada.

Forget just football — here's where Patriots QB Tom Brady now ranks among the all-time greatest a... - Duration: 4:03.

Tom Brady's NFL-record seventh Super Bowl appearance puts him in some heady modern-day company.

That's precisely as many trips to his sport's championship round as Derek Jeter and Mariano Rivera, who played in seven World Series together (winning five) with the Yankees, Kobe Bryant (5-2 with the Lakers), LeBron James (three titles in seven appearances in the NBA Finals so far with Cleveland, Miami and Cleveland again) and Mark Messier (6-1 with Edmonton and the Rangers).

Seven also is one more than the amount of times Michael Jordan (6-0) and Tim Duncan (5-1) reached the NBA Finals or that Wayne Gretzky made the Stanley Cup Final — going 4-1 with Edmonton in the 1980s before also losing once with Los Angeles in 1993.

Bill Russell

(Michael Dwyer/AP)

Historically, Brady isn't — nor is anyone — ever going to match fellow New England legend Bill Russell, who played 13 seasons with the Celtics and reached the NBA Finals in all but one of them, winning 11 rings.

Heck, seven other Celtics from that 1960s era earned at least seven championships, with the only non-Boston player in NBA history to win that many titles incredibly being Robert Horry of the Rockets, Lakers and Spurs from 1994-2007.

In baseball, Yogi Berra won 10 World Series titles and appeared in the Fall Classic a whopping 14 times. Of the 26 players in baseball history to be a part of at least six championship clubs, in fact, only one (Eddie Collins) didn't play for the Yankees at some point between 1923 and 1962.

And the dynastic Montreal Canadiens of the 1960s and '70s boasted three players – Henri Richard (11), Jean Beliveau (10) and Yvan Cournoyer (10) — with double-digit rings.

Of course, those days are long gone in pro sports.

A more realistic goal/comparison for Brady from recent history would be Magic Johnson, who reached the NBA Finals nine times, winning five titles with the Lakers in the 1980s.

A fifth Super Bowl trophy would elevate Brady past Pittsburgh's Terry Bradshaw and San Francisco's Joe Montana among NFL quarterbacks, even if the latter two never lost in the big game.

Yogi Berra

(Steve Nesius/REUTERS)

Brady, you might recall, did so twice — to, if I'm not mistaken, one of our New York football teams. (Will have to double-check that; wouldn't want to offer anyone an "alternative fact" on something so important).

Brady, who I now truly believe has surpassed Montana as the best QB of all time, also will seek to join Hall of Fame defensive end Charles Haley (San Francisco, Dallas) as the only NFL players to win five Super Bowls.

Either way, his seventh appearance will snap a tie with former Bills and Broncos defensive lineman Mike Lodish for the most in league history.

Not bad for a guy who was benched in favor of two-sport flameout Drew Henson while at Michigan. Or for a player selected 199th overall in the 2000 draft. Or for someone who opened this season serving a silly suspension.

Not bad at all, especially when you consider the prestigious company he keeps across the sports pantheon.

OUTTA BOTTE EXPERIENCE

All of that said, I'm definitely picking Matt Ryan and the Falcons to win Super Bowl LI.

Just in case anyone thought I was going soft on you guys.

— Michael Fulmer — traded to Detroit in the 2015 Yoenis Cespedes deal — thanked the Mets organization, among other folks, at Saturday's BBWAA awards dinner upon receiving his AL Rookie of the Year award.

Mets GM Sandy Alderson later joked: "If Dilson Herrera is Rookie of the Year next year, I'm going to be in serious trouble."

Kind of depends what the return is for flipping Jay Bruce at this point, if you ask me.

— Gregg Popovich and Steve Kerr: Please don't ever just "stick to sports."

— Check out Stefan Bondy's interesting post on his Top 10 worst moves by Phil Jackson so far with the Knicks.

You mean that drafting Porzingis and all of the quippy tweets don't cancel the rest of it out?

— Terribly sad and heartbreaking news once again concerning the weekend deaths of MLB players Yordano Ventura and Andy Marte in separate automobile crashes in the Dominican Republic. Our deepest condolences to all who knew and loved them.

PETE'S PICKS

In honor of the Super Bowl LI starting quarterbacks, here are my Top-5 movie/TV characters named Brady or Ryan.

5. PVT. JAMES FRANCIS RYAN, Saving Private Ryan

4. HOPE BRADY, Days of Our Lives

3. JACK RYAN, Patriot Games (kind of fitting)

2. JAKE RYAN, Sixteen Candles

1. JAN BRADY, The Brady Bunch
