Youtube daily to make Dec 1 2018

I'll be making Tteok-bokki using Pun Haos, a type of Chinese noodles.

Pour vinegar into boiling water to blanch the noodles. Not for long, just within 1~2 minutes.

Slice the fish cakes into eatable sizes.

Also slice green onion to put into the Tteok-bokki.

Put in kelp and dried anchovies into a pot to make broth.

Remove the kelp and anchovies, add in the fish cakes and boil it.

Add in Tteok-bokki sauce and boil it.

When half the water boils down, add in the blanched noodles.

Since it's blanched, you can eat right away, you don't need to cook it for long.

Finish off by adding in the green onions.

The Tteok-bokki with Pun Haos is complete!

The noodles taste similar to rice tteok! It tasted really like tteok!

Chewy but tender~!!!! The noodles don't take in the sauce but it gets in between the holes, so I could taste the sauce that way!

Tteok-bokki using Pun Haos instead of tteok! Try it yourself.

Then I'll soon be back with a tastier video! Bye~ :)

Mikrotik installation step by step How to make pc as a MikroTik router | Part-01 - Duration: 16:02.

Hello, Assalamu Alaikum (আসসালামুয়ালাইকুম), I'm Md.Monarul Islam from Backdoor Dhaka

From today we have started a new tutorial on Mikrotik.

And it will be from the Beginners to the level of advanced level. Until then you will be with us.

Those who are interested in working on networking or systems, we must keep in mind the Mikrotik.

Because there is no Organizaton or ISP company where Mikrotik is not used.

There are some Organization that do not use Mikrotik but use advanced level router. Such as juniper, huawei ,cyberoam or theros router.

However, the Maximum Organization uses a Mikrotik router.

For this, if we enter the system life with a good idea about Mikrotik, then it will be very easy for our work.

For this I have to know first. What is Mikrotik ?

Mikrotik is a router's band name. This is a Linux-based operating system router.

Now you can buy a router board in the market, in which the Mikrotik OS is installed.

There are many people who can not buy new Mikrotik router.

For this we can practice by making a Mikrotik router in our computer.

Today we will see how to make our computer a Mikrotik router

For this, first of all, we need two item 1. Emulator 2. Mikrotik Router ISO file. You can download from my video description or web.

This link for Mikrotik router OS (top)

Here you will find a lot of versions you want to download.

If you have downloaded this, now you need an emulator. And the most popular box box Oracle Virtual Box

Already I have installed the emulator. You also have to install.

If you can not install an emulator, then you can take a watch at many of my virtualization tutorials.

There are download links here. You can download it from there.

At first we download the Mikrotik ISO file

We will be entering the top site to download the Mikrotik ISO file. web: mikrotik.com/download/archive

Here you can see a lot of versions. From here you will download your version.

Here you can see a lot of versions. From now on we will get version 6.42 and 32 bit (x86).

My download complete

We'll now input the ISO file into the Oracle virtual box and VMware Workstation

We will now create a virtual computer in which to file our ISO files.

First watch at Oracle virtual box

After clicking on New, we will name our virtual PC

No one would want to make a PC, import hard disk from my video description.

You can run it from the virtual machine and open it by running.

After clicking on New, we will name our virtual PC, Type: Linux then click version: others Linux (x86) 32 bit

Now you will have the size of the RAM (Mikrotik Minimum requirement 232 MB) but we decided 256 MB or more then click Next

click a New(Virtual Hard disk) after click> Next

Now you have to type the hard disk (you choose which type of Virtual disk need) but VHD good or VDI (default) > Click Next

What type of storage will you have? You must be dynamic as it will reduce the pressure on your physical computer. click >Next

How much space do you want to keep on the hard disk and want to keep in any location? then click > Create

Already, our PC has been created. Now we will make another PC in the VMware Workstation Pro 12

Go to VMware Workstation and click >Create a new virtual Machine> Type: Typical >Next

Select >I will install the operating system later >click Next

Come here and you do the other (Select others operating system and Version others) then click > Next

Name your Virtual PC Name. then How much space do you want to keep on the hard disk with Store as a single type and want to keep in any location?

You can customize your virtual computer

Go to your Virtual machine setting and change some setting like as videos

Go to Storage > Select Empty Disk> upload your download ISO file from Mikrotik website.

You have to take multiple network adapters to come here.

Because you will be providing a network adapter LAN connection and the other will have WAN connection.

Here's how to set up a similar network

Fninish

Now I have to say the ISO file. That's what we've downloaded from the Mikrotik web.

Go to Storage > Select Empty Disk> Now I have to say the ISO file. That's what we've downloaded from the Mikrotik web.

Now all our PCs are OK. You just run

My two router is being installed together.

You can now see some options. From now on, install your router with the packages you need.

Here are some menu options

what you will do (p & n arrow keys , a for all,

Space-bar for select item, M for Minimum, i for install, q for cancel )

a for all

p & n for arrow keys working (up and down select)

n mean down select

P mean UP

i mean Install

q mean quit or cancel

Here are some menu options what you will do

Or you can press a button and select all for install

Pressing this (i) button will start your installation

Do you want to keep old configuration: (No/N). Its called Default config

You will say yes to a message that will be sent to a hard disk data erased (yes)

It will take some time to install

a mean all select

remove some package like as ipv6

press i

It will take some time to install

press Enter

Press Enter

Oracle Virtual Box Power Off

Go to Oracle Virtual Box setting

Oracle Virtual Box has to change a setting

Run this PC again by making this change

After watching the router run, you can watch the monitor.

There you will ask your admin username and password.

The default user does not have any password on the Admin User. You can enter the router just by Enter with the admin User.

If you want to see if you want to see a software license? You will say No

If you give yes then you will see a much larger page. There is a written license information.

If you want to exit now by pressing the Q button

If you want to see our trial version license, you must give this command< system license print >

All the information can be seen

Same way to see the previous command

If you want to see our trial version license,

This was the installation process.

How do you use Mikrotik in virtual computers?

If you want to connect to a graphical connection then you need a software.

If you want to Shutdown your router apply command< system shutdown>

then > y <

Now we will show you how to connect to a graphical. Winbox software will be used for this.

The Winbox software allows you to download from the Mikrotik web.

We will enter with the mac address. Because we have not yet configured.

Default User : admin

You have now entered the graphical mode.

If you have a license you can enter it.

You can configure in two modes Graphical or Command.

Today we will watch at this part of how to make router.

How to make pc as a MikroTik router

In the next phase we will see how to configure.

If you like my tutorials, then you will definitely subscribe and like, share and comment.

Thanks a lot to those who subscribe my channel

How to Make Your Beats into Album Worthy Songs - Behind the Beat "Alone" #8 - Duration: 10:58.

what's going on guys welcome back to the channel my name is cola zarick and we are

continuing our series called behind the beat where I deconstruct one of the

songs off of my new album a moonset I'm gonna take you guys behind the scenes

show you guys that why the decisions I made give you guys some insight some

value into the song and the beat and the the writing and the concept if you end

up learning something you enjoy the video or you just want to support the

channel please click the like button it really helps me out and subscribe for

more content if you're new here I do insightful videos like this or tips and

tricks or tutorials putting out my own music stuff like that all centered

around hip-hop so consider subscribing love to have you also check out new

merch in the description below just started a new merch shop with my own

designs this is one that I'm wearing currently I really like doing a skull

with the cloud Cobain looking sunglasses on so go check out the link in the

description of the new merch maybe you'll find a design that you think is

rad you can get shirts hoodies whatever you want today we are going to be

deconstructing the song alone off of my album lungset so if you haven't heard

that song yet go ahead and take a listen to it now give you some context to what

we're gonna be going over in this video now that we got the

now that we got that out of the way let's go ahead and start the video let's

introduce you to our sample I guess the sample we used is called hip

hop collective forgiving is forgetting I guess don't remember where I got this

sample from

so there we have our sample okay so let me share with you guys something that's

it's just my favorite porcelain drums now can you guys guess what this means

what this what do I mean by porcelain drums well let's let's say let's do

another let's have another test let's see if you guys I'm gonna play the

sample and you guys type in the comments section where you think it's from so I'm

gonna play the sample you guys comment where you think it's from ready that's

the whole sample that's all you get and my hint for you guys is that the intro

of a song from a very famous rock band you may now leave your guesses in the

comments section that's right if you guessed Red Hot Chili Peppers porcelain

off of Californication you are correct

so I cut that drum kit and used it in the background of my own song

so most of the section of the chorus is pretty straightforward it's just playing

a sample and having the vocals on top of it so let's listen to it without any of

the sample so these are all multi-layered have a couple harmonies

here and there but I can't continue

and then when the verse starts we bring the porcelain drums back in I like the

porcelain drums because they're still rhythmic and they still kind of they

kind of build momentum just a little bit and then when the actual drums hits we

can really start to get going so the content in this song my lyrics what I'm

actually talking about is very sad and very solemn and and it's very downtempo

it's just a bad time right the whole song is called alone but what you're

actually hearing the sample and drums behind it and the flow is very bouncy

and feeling like I'm in a daze when the hind side by number nine - bad - but

it's very fast it's very choppy it's kind of the contrast of that you would

think it's very happy and cheerful how how much I'm the energy I'm giving

towards it so who knows if I executed it what I wanted to do with this song was

create something that contrasted which you were hearing so like having the

content sound soft but at the same time the drum kit is very driving it's and

the flow is very fast and I'm rapping super quickly usually sad song is there

always like somebody singing or somebody rapping slowly and clearly and

emotionally but in this case I'm going like super fast and Underwood everything

and right here

oh but I can't continue yeah so this part of any oh I can't continue even if

the sample is kind of like a sad sound example I still pull the joy out of it

with the melody that I used but the lyrics are contrasting all that it's

just sad and depressing lyrics on top of like a cheery like oh oh oh I love you

so much like that melody is so counterproductive to what's actually

being said in the song I tried to do this because you know pumped you know

the song pumped up kicks' I was just inspired by how that song talked about

really depressing sad lyrics and no one even noticed it because the beat was so

catchy and cheery they were talking about freaking

Columbine and people getting shot I thought that was such a fascinating

contrast to have in a song it was like you were fooling everyone so I kind of

set out to do that myself on a few of these songs on this album

alright let's get let's dive in and let's listen to some of these drums so

once again I chose a deep sub E bass for the low end bass notes that I had on

this song because I didn't want anything with a lot of personality or anything

with a lot of hit

then I added in high hats in the snare high hats are nothing special it's just

consistent then I added the kick drum which I used pretty sparingly on this

drum kit another big inspiration behind the song was actually Joji I was

listening to a lot of Joji when I was writing this album and making this beat

in particular because of the piano quality of the way I treated the drums

if you can tell the drums kind of sound muffled it's like you put a big blanket

over the drums and that's a lot of times the same type of effect that Joji does

on his drums which he actually produces his own music as well so his album in

tongues and the one that just came out ballads one those are all produced by

him I believe but I could be wrong so that's gonna do it for our drums so

believe it or not we're kind of actually done with our beat that we have here

it's not so special and I think what makes this song special is the structure

of it so what do we have here we have here just our intro let me go ahead and

mark this stuff for you so we can mark this is our intro we can mark this as

our chorus then next part we have our verse so I'm going to mark the end of

the verse at this part so we can kind of qualify this singing part as a part of

the verse although I think this could be considered like verse part two because

it's like a melodic rap or singing or kind of it could be like it's like a

pre-chorus I'm still gonna call this our verse but I'm gonna say I'm just gonna

add another section of a verse so this second half of the verse kind of acts is

like okay we're not just rapping anymore we're doing something different where we

have this new melody that we're abiding by and we're sick

we're doing some melodic rap stuff and then we we spread out even more and we

we come across a new melody I see Kendrick Lamar do this all the time

where he'll have like his first part of his verse be mostly rap and then the

second half he'll do some melodic stuff or he'll sing or I'll have like his

vocal effect where it's like two of his voices or he's doing like a one of his

Kendrick type voices like high pitch or he'll put effects on it and that's kind

of what I was trying to do with the structure of this second half of the

verse or you know I could consider this like a second chorus I don't know I'm

getting too far ahead of myself cuz this splits up the two verses because we go

into another verse after that singing melodic parts they can just look okay

except current situations so it's kind of like we have intro chorus verse

second chorus second verse and then we go back into our chorus and then we just

kind of let the beat play out because I wanted I wanted to just play the beat by

itself so people can listen to it and just spend time with it and just let it

ride and we'll just call this the outro so there you have it

intro chorus verse 1 course 2 as in it's like a new chorus and then we play you

the original chorus at the end after the second verse and then we move into our

outro and that's the song structure for alone and that's gonna do it for this

video if you enjoy the video if you learn something or you just want to

support the channel leave a like really helps me out subscribe for more content

like this and I'll see you guys in the next video peace

Paying too much for bottled LPG gas? - Use refillable bottle to make it cheaper and easier - Vanlife - Duration: 4:31.

Are you sick of carrying more gas around than you need or just annoyed at paying too much

for it. stick around and I'll show you what we did to make it cheaper and

easier. keep up to date by hitting the subscribe button and you can visit us

at explorevan.uk where you can read more about us our vans and our trips. if

you find this video useful please hit the like button and consider subscribing,

also if you want to ask any questions just drop them in the comments and we'll

get back to you as soon as we can. I'm sure you all have the same issues as

we do when it comes to gas, so with these you have to throw them away or

take them to an authorised stockist to have them refilled, not only

is this annoying but it costs a lot more than it should. So the main problems are

having to weigh or guess how much gas you've got left, having to carry around two

bottles of gas so you know you won't run out, having to find a dealer for the

right type of gas just so you can get a new bottle, you might even have to take

back a part full cylinder and waste all the gas in it, just so you've got a full

one to take on your next trip and then there's the cost, let's take a look. let's

start with a camping gas 907 cylinder there's 2.75 kilograms of gas in here

and it will cost you 30 pounds to exchange the bottle however at an auto

gas pump the same amount of gas would cost four pound 31 how about a Calor six

kilogram well they're 25 pound 25 P to exchange but the equivalent amount of

autogas costs 9 pounds 40 and finally a Calor 13 kilogram 40 pound 52 to exchange but

the equivalent gas from a pump 20 pounds 38.

We chose a six kilogram GasIT SOLUTION mainly due to value for money at

around 170 pounds but also the fact we can support a local Welsh business. let's

take a look at what our gas set up used to look like, as you can see we carried

around a 13 kilogram and a 6 kilogram Calor cylinders this was so that we

always knew if we ran out, we had a backup ready because you never know

whether you could get to a calor outlet to get a replacement....and here's what it

looks like with our GasIt refillable solution, taking up less space weighing

a lot less and much more convenient

installation was really easy I went for installing the filler on the inside of

the van so I didn't have to cut a hole on the outside, other than that it

really is as easy as changing a Calor gas bottle, as you can see the outlet on the

GasIt bottle is a different fitting to Calor, you can either replace the pigtail

but I decided to fit an adapter which meant that I can always switch back to

Calor if I wanted to, though really I don't think that's going to happen. Because the gas

cylinder has a gauge we can easily tell how much gas we've got and we can

always top up at any filling station with LPG just to make sure we've always

got a full tank. that means we don't have to carry around two calor cylinders to

make sure we've always got enough for what we need

refilling the tank is as easy as filling up a car with lpg it is simple

all you have to do is connect the hose from the pump to the van Inlet press the

button on the pump and then it will fill until the capacity of the tank hits 80%

and then it will shut down, disconnect that's it byou are full. when we're traveling

in mainland Europe we don't need to worry now about taking loads of Calor gas

with us because we know we can't get it out there, all we have to do is

remember to take sets of adapters so we can fill up at any pump at any LPG

station. So if you're considering going with a refillable gas option I would

just do it, not only is it cheaper in the long run, but also it's so much more

convenient. Keep up to date by hitting the subscribe button and you can visit

us at ExplorerVan.uk, where you can read more about us, our vans and our

trips

How To Make Foundation Not Rub Off (3 PRO TIPS FOR ALL DAY MAKEUP) - Duration: 7:31.

Kaelyn: Do you guys constantly struggle with getting your foundation to actually stay on

your face the entire day?

Then you guys should definitely keep watching this video to learn my top three pro tips

for getting your foundation to actually last all day long.

Also, make sure you guys stay until the end of my video today.

I'm giving away a free 45 minute consultation that also comes with a personalized shopping

guide and more.

For beauty and makeup made simple, make sure you guys subscribe to my channel.

Also hit that bell button so you get notified every single time I upload a new video on

Saturdays.

Kaelyn: Because I've been specializing in bridal makeup for about five years now, I

have to know right away how to keep makeup completely budge-proof all day long, through

90 degree plus heat as well as torrential downpours, awful humidity, whatever you can

throw at me in Ohio.

I have to make sure that the makeup stays all day long for my clients.

Kaelyn: Whether you're using quote/unquote actual primers, or you've just really dialed

in your skincare routine, it is so essential before you actually begin makeup application.

This could not be more true, especially if you are a dry skin type.

Washing your face is not enough to keep your foundation on throughout the day.

You're going to notice that your skin is going to start flaking up because it's so dry, and

when you actually put that foundation on it's irritating it.

You definitely, definitely want to make sure that you follow through with a full skincare

routine that actually includes moisturizer and other products that really add additional

moisture to your skin.

If you do have that really dry skin type, I recommend a skincare routine that includes

cleansing, definitely exfoliating your skin.

You want to do it up to three to four times a week if your skin can handle it.

Kaelyn: You also want to make sure that the moisturizer that you're using is a nice, thick

moisturizer because it's going to continually give you moisture throughout the day as it

sinks into your skin and starts doing its magic.

If you want to use an additional primer on top of the skincare routine, for dry skin

I highly recommend it and I actually love using the Smashbox Primerizer.

It is just a great photo-finishing but super moisturizing primer, that really just does

the trick and helps the foundation to really glide on seamlessly over the skin.

Kaelyn: If you are oily, I basically recommend about the same skincare routine.

The only thing that I would do different is I would not use a thick moisturizer because

that would be way too much for your skin.

I would get a moisturizer that's geared towards oil control.

For any clients that I have that are super oily, again, I like adding in additional primer

to their skin before I put on any kind of makeup.

I love using the Makeup Forever Step One Mattifying Primer.

I love it because it just kind of, again, smooths over the skin.

It'll kind of hide those pores, especially around the nose area and the forehead.

It does an amazing job of controlling the oil.

I mean, this stuff will soak up any kind of oil that's on your face.

Kaelyn: I want to hear from you guys now.

Do you guys believe in actually using primers, or are you guys just dialed really into your

skincare routine?

Leave me a comment down below letting me know if you guys like primers or if you're team

skincare all the way.

Kaelyn: No matter what your skin type is, I think everybody benefits from using a face

powder to set their foundation.

If you have normal, combination, or oily skin types, I really love using this powder right

here.

This is the Cover FX Perfect Setting Powder.

I love this powder to not only set my foundation with, but I love setting my concealer with

it, so that when my natural oils start coming to the surface it doesn't slide around on

my face throughout the day.

My blush, my bronzer, my contour, they all glide on and just apply so much better when

I actually set my cheeks.

If you are dry, I mean you can definitely still use face powder, just make sure you

use a little amount.

A little will go a long way with you.

You definitely want to make sure you at least set in your under eye area because that will

... I feel like no matter what your skin type is, slide around throughout the day.

Kaelyn: You definitely can also benefit from using a face powder that has more of like

that illuminating effect, so it makes your skin look more awake and alive.

I love using the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders just for that.

I honestly kind of finish all of my clients off with those powders because it just gives

you that glow from within that's so gorgeous.

Kaelyn: Wouldn't it be fantastic if we essentially had a hairspray for our face?

We in fact are in luck because we do have a magical thing called setting spray.

Setting sprays might be one of my favorite makeup products, which is kind of odd but

it truly is one of my favorite makeup products.

Honestly, it's kind of one of my secret key products for actually helping mine and my

clients' makeup stay on all day and look super fresh.

Once you spray your face after you're done with all of your makeup, it just kind of soaks

all of the powder into your skin.

Again, you don't have the cakey, fake powdery look throughout the day.

Kaelyn: What I literally do is I just take the spray and I just start spraying it all

over my face, just letting it air dry naturally.

For basically any skin type, I absolutely love the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.

It's a cult-classic spray for a reason.

It also crazily extends the life of your makeup through the day too.

Urban Decay also has an oil control version too, so if you're super oily I would probably

recommend that one over the All Nighter.

Both are great, both are very ... they're formulated very similarly.

Oily girls, go to the oil control one.

I'm going to include it on this screen right here so you guys can see what it looks like.

Kaelyn: Now you guys know my top three techniques on how I actually keep foundation on myself

as well as my clients all day long.

I'm sure you guys at this point want some kind of a shopping list or some kind of direction

to go to actually purchase all of these things for yourself so you can use them on yourself.

That's why I'm doing the free 45 minute Skype consultation with myself.

I'm going to leave the link down below for you guys to enter.

This will include everything that we've learned over the last four weeks.

I'm going to be kind of summarizing all that, giving you guys some guidance, plus also providing

you a personalized shopping list that you guys can take with you the next time you head

out to Sephora or Ulta, or even if you guys shop online.

The link to enter is down below guys, so make sure you click on it.

Best of luck to you guys, thank you again so much for entering and I will be talking

with one of you guys very soon.

Kaelyn: Also, feel free to join my amazing community of like-minded women in our exclusive

Facebook group.

We chat and ask questions weekly about beauty, makeup, and self-care related topics.

We all have one another's backs, as well as we can lean on each other when it comes to

navigating the sometimes really really tricky topics.

Kaelyn: If you guys liked this video, make sure you give it a huge thumbs up, subscribe

to my channel, and also share this video with anybody ... family, friend, whomever, that

struggles to keep their makeup on.

As we've been doing a lot lately, make sure you guys do #SimplyMakeup down below if this

video helped you out in any way, shape, or form.

That's it, guys.

Thank you again so much for joining me today.

I hope I helped answer any of those burning questions you have about keeping your makeup

How To Make An Easy Beaded Bracelet: Jewelry Making Tutorial - Duration: 7:18.

To make this bracelet we've got some beads. We have 27

Ultramarine blue beads here and these are six millimeters in size.

And then we've got 10 copper nugget beads. These are darling little 2 millimeter beads.

For findings, we have copper findings to match our nugget beads. We have a magnet clasp.

We have clamshell bead tips and we have 2 crimp beads.

And then we're going to use bead stringing wire for this project. You can use copper colored bead stringing wire.

We're using gold because it isn't going to show so it doesn't really matter what color it is.

And we've got 19 strand bead stringing wire.

For tools we're going to use wire cutters and chain-nose pliers.

To make the bracelet

the first thing you might do is cut a piece of bead stringing wire

eight-and-a-half inches long and then we'll put the clasp on one end. And to do that

We're going to feed on a clamshell bead tip

so the clamshell bead tip is a little clam with a little hole in the bottom and

We're gonna feed the wire up through the clam through the hole in the clam

We're just gonna let that

sit there and

Then we're gonna feed on a crimp bead and a crimp bead is a little piece of metal. That's meant to be crimped

I'm gonna feed that on

Next what we want to do is crush the crimp bead or crimp the crimp bead onto the end of the wire

so to do that, I'm

Grasping the crimp bead. I don't need it to be inside the clam. Shell. Yeah, I'm gonna come out here so you can see it

I'm gonna press that crimp bead closed

onto the wire

And I'm gonna give it a couple squeezes. I want to make sure it's really on there. So I'm kind of tug at it

Yeah, it's on there real good

So next what you might do is slide the clam shell up over that crimp bead. It's gonna hide that crimp bead and

We're just gonna close the clam shell by pressing it gently, you know one press too hard

It's metal and it's hollow and you don't want to dent it. Let me just give it a little squeeze like that

And that's one end, but the sort of wires sticking out. I'm going to trim that wire with the wire cutters

It's gonna give it a little snip

Just snip that right off and

Make sure that the clam shells close like that and then we can go ahead and put one side of the clasp

Onto that clam shell and to do that. I'm going to separate the magnet clasp. We love magnet clasp

We do all this work. You don't want your bracelet to fall off

so I'm just going to slide the magnet clasp into that open loop on the clam shell and

then I'm gonna close that little loop up you can buy these clam shell bead tips with a closed loop here if

You're worried that it's going to open up on you. We have never had that happen, but it could happen

So you can buy it with the closed loop. You'll just want to add a jump ring in there

to attach the magnet clasp

So that's on there nice and secure

One end of the bracelet is done and now we can do the beads

And this is a basic bead stringing project. Which means we're just going to slide on the beads in the order

we want them on the bracelet and the pattern of this bracelet is going to be one copper nugget and

Then three of these pretty ultramarine

round beads

You could do this with any

beads, you want the round beads look particularly good on this bracelet and

The copper nuggets. We like how they're smaller

than the

Round beads. They just look nice together. So once we have on one nugget and three round beads, we're gonna feed on another nugget

so here goes a

nugget bead

followed by three of

My ultramarine beads

One

two

Three this is a great project to make as a gift because it's super wearable

And this blue color we liked it because it's got kind of a denim feeling so it really has sort of a neutral

Look, but it's still bright enough to be kind of jazzy

so I've got

Two beads on there and yet another one

keep the pattern going and this one with these six millimeter beads and

The two millimeter copper nuggets we wound up

With a bracelet that has a finished length of seven and a half inches, and that's pretty standard

But if you want it shorter you could leave off a couple beads

and if you want it longer you could cut your wire a little bit longer and

Add another set of beads

I've got two more of my blue beads

The hardest part is finding the hole in the bead right and

Then here's my last nugget

So the next thing we want to do is finish the end and to do that. We're going to slide on

Our clam shell bead tip

And

then slide on our

Crimp bead, they're small so that they can fit inside the clamshell

When I do the other side I did the crimp bead all the way out at the end of the wire

But for this side, I want this the beads on here nice and tight. I want them all pushed up against each other

not so tight that it is curling in on itself, but I don't want a lot of gaps like this gap eNOS

so I'm gonna push that together and then I'm gonna reach inside with my chain nose pliers and

press that crimp bead closed inside the clamshell and

I want to tug on a little bit make sure it's closed it is and

Then I can close that clamshell over the crimp bead

If you want, you can put a drop of jewellers glue inside here as a little added security

But we really don't have any trouble with these coming apart

But it is nice when you're giving it as a gift to feel secure now. I'm gonna trim the wire

I'm guessing this wire was bigger than eight-and-a-half inches because I have a lot of wire leftover

But you should be able to do it with just eight and a half inches

Mid trim that little end and then now I can finish this by putting my other side of my magnet clasp

into that clamshell loop and

Then closing the clamshell loop

I'm just kind of bending it down towards the clam shell keeping that loop shape

Press it close. Make sure it's nice and closed. And then the nice thing about a magnet clasp is you just clamp them together and

There is our beautiful and very easy beaded bracelet.

Lightning Struck Apollo 12... Twice, Here's How Mission Control Reacted | Apollo - Duration: 7:11.

There's a lot that can go wrong during a spacecraft launch.

And shortly after Apollo 12 left the ground, the mission was struck with an electrifying complication.

Not once… but twice.

[Astronauts] I don't know what happened here. We had everything in the world drop out.

I'm not sure we didn't get hit by lighting.

1969 was a milestone year for NASA.

[Armstrong] The Eagle has landed.

The space agency achieved its goal of getting to the moon and back by the end of the decade.

But Apollo 11 almost didn't make it there.

During their descent to the moon, the Lunar Module threw a fit and the astronauts missed their target

landing spot by a good six kilometers.

So the next mission, Apollo 12, would have to prove that a precision lunar landing was possible.

The crew consisted of close friends: commander Pete Conrad, command module pilot Dick Gordon

and lunar module pilot Al Bean.

Aside from perfecting landing techniques, their primary objectives were to perform detailed

scientific lunar exploration and deploy the Apollo Lunar Surface Experiments Package or

ALSEP for short.

This was a collection of geophysical instruments designed to monitor the environment of each

Apollo landing site for the period of at least a year.

Conrad and Bean would be the astronauts to put this science into action in the moon's

mysterious region known as the Ocean of Storms.

On the morning of the launch, ominous clouds blanketed the sky above the Kennedy Space Center.

But the rain was dying down and conditions were within the minimums of what was considered adverse.

So Apollo 12 took off.

About 36 seconds in, things got weird.

The crew didn't realize it, but a powerful electrical surge had shot through the Saturn V.

And about 20 seconds later, mother nature would prove that lightning can and will strike

the same place twice.

The crew was in the dark.

Several major systems went offline, including all three fuel cells,

the spacecraft's main source of power.

If they didn't find a solution in the next 90 seconds, Apollo 12 would have to abort.

On the ground at the Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston, mission control was just as confused.

The flight controller consuls were reading nonsensical telemetry data from the spacecraft, giving the team

no sign of a solution.

This was a nightmare scenario for flight director Gerry Griffin.

Just over a minute into his first mission as lead flight director, he was facing a potential disaster.

But if Griffin learned anything from his mentors, there were a lot of options

and failure wasn't one of them.

Throughout the Apollo Program, the mission control team was faced with do or die decisions.

It was by no means a low stress work environment.

Many of the Apollo flight controllers joined NASA with no relevant

experience and some were fresh out of college.

But in a very short period of time, they had to become masters of spaceflight.

NASA's first flight director, Chris Kraft, was essentially the brainchild

of Apollo's mission control system.

At the helm of each crewed mission was a flight director.

He was supported by a team of flight controllers who were responsible for specific spacecraft functions.

For example, GUIDO watched over the primary guidance, navigation and control systems,

while EECOM handled the electrical, environmental and communications systems.

The Apollo mission control teams ran thousands of flight simulations to anticipate every

possible scenario that could unfold in space.

And during Apollo 12, a memory from one of these simulations saved the team from an abort.

SCE to Aux was the answer to their problems, and 24-year old EECOM John Aaron was the only

one who knew it.

A year earlier, he was in Mission Control during a simulation in which the spacecraft's

voltage was accidentally dropped.

The change affected the Signal Conditioning Equipment or SCE which was a small power supply

that provided voltage to critical instrumentation points in various systems

including the fuel cells.

If the power supply failed, an auxiliary supply could be switched on.

All the crew had to do was find the right switch, which wasn't a simple task given

the complexity of the spacecraft's display.

Astronaut Al Bean was the only member of the crew who knew which switch to flip.

And just like that, the spacecraft's systems came back online and the flight controllers

were able to read the data again.

Rookie Flight Director Gerry Griffin escaped the near abort.

They found no other damage from the lightning strike,

so Griffin decided to continue to the Moon.

The astronauts, still in disbelief, laughed uncontrollably until they reached orbit.

Once settled in lunar orbit, Conrad and Bean embarked on the most crucial part of the mission.

They had to perfect a pinpoint landing on the lunar surface.

But first, they had to find their targeted touchdown point.

As they approached, Conrad recognized a familiar crater from a map of their landing site.

He steadied the Lunar Module and touched down in a cloud of dust within close range of their

target, demonstrating that a precision lunar landing with the Apollo system was possible.

Once on the surface, the astronauts conducted several experiments and deployed the ALSEP.

They also collected and returned components from the nearby Surveyor 3 spacecraft, which

landed on the Moon in 1967.

After over 30 hours, Conrad and Bean flew back to the Command-Service Module where their

buddy Dick Gordon was waiting.

Apollo's three best friends splashed down in the Pacific just 62 seconds later than planned.

Apollo 12 didn't get as much attention as Apollo 11, in part, because it wasn't televised.

Shortly after landing on the moon, Bean fried the camera when he pointed it directly at the Sun.

But all that aside, Apollo 12 turned out to be a pioneering mission for the Apollo Program.

The pinpoint touchdown of the Lunar Module enabled all of the targeted landings to follow.

And the near abort showed the capabilities of mission control, proving that the team

was prepared to work through unexpected problems under extreme pressure.

And that would become incredibly important for the next mission - Apollo 13.

Like Mission Control, the Apollo astronauts went through extensive training, learning

how to do a job that had never been done before.

If you want to get a look inside their extreme spaceflight preparations, check out this video.

And, if you want more, be sure to watch the entire Apollo series.

Thanks for watching!

It's Been Christmas Here Since OCTOBER (🙄) But Who's Excited?!?! - Duration: 6:21.

and this is for Josh!

Hi guys!

Hehe..it's not christmas just yet

On this month, December

I want to do a Christmas vlogs

So I'll start Vlogmas from today!

This is hot chocolate

I'm so excited!

Actually, in Englad right now, everywhere you go is Christmas-y

I've stopped lifestyle vlogs

but I wanted to make them again because

in England, Christmas is an important season just like Chuseok in Korea

I think people here consider summer and Christmas the most important seasons

Yeah, that's what I've noticed!

Last year, whilst HelloGabie series

I've made couple of videos with Christmas vibes

and I remember you guys really enjoying them

because they felt cosy! (sorry I keep looking away I think I was imagining a lot of stuffs lol)

and in the UK, there's SO MUCH preparation

like, a lot! a lot!!!

I couldn't even show you everything last year!

There's pre-Christmas parties,

and many other events

we party with friends, with families, with distant families...

So during Christm...Chris...Chrisrrrrr

during Christmas, there's gift prepartion...

and there's a looooot of gifts as well

because we do a lot of small little gifts

therefore we need to go around do a lot of shopping

Personally, I think since I've been living here, Christmas has become a very special season

Like, the sun sets super early, the weather becomes crap...

so I tend to focus more on making it feel like Christmas!

It makes me cosy, it makes me look forward to something..

Like, I'm super excited all the time!

So yeah, I wanted to show you those vibes

because in Korea, Christmas is not considered as a big holiday

so..yah!!!!

just talking about it got me excited hehe

People here enjoy the Christmas season so much

that they start it from OCTOBER

they already started to sell all the Christmas stuff on October

Pubs already started to take Christmas bookings

and in Central, the lights were up already at the beginning of November

they were already selling Advent Calendars

So yeah, Christmas literally started from the end of October

I was shocked! I didn't know it was THIS hyped!

I only noticed this just now because since October, I already started planning the vlogs

so I have planned and pre-recorded here and there

so I went around

and noticed from October, that they were selling Advent Calendars,

decorations, lights...they were all up already!

I thought that, for people who live in Korea, or countries that Christmas is not regarded the same way,

will watch this and be entertained!

Anyway,

my original plan was to upload everyday

but we(Bannie and I)veto-ed it

because I really have to prepare for Christmas in real life

there will be lots of gatherings, parties

but if I do do daily vlogs,

I don't think I would be able to prepare for Christmas in real life!

So I'll upload at LEAST 3 times a week!

Lifestyle vlogs!

I'll show you how to make (BRITISH) sausage rolls,

mince pies,

stuff like that!

I want to make a ginger bread cookie house as well!!(I never once made one!)

and I want to share all that with you!

I actually already got some presents

so I'm like

really looking forward to December!!

From today!

We're starting Vlogs..mas?

VLOGMAS! Let's do this!

Merry Christmas!

Here's how you can help us investigate fake Indigenous art - Duration: 1:05.

Mini totem poles,

inuksuks and dreamcatchers.

Indigenous-themed souvenirs can be

found all across Canada.

But is it authentic Indigenous art?

If it wasn't made by an Indigenous artist

or made in collaboration with an

Indigenous artist,

artists say that's a problem.

Well, we want to know how big a problem

this is

and we want you to help us investigate.

Here's how.

Head to a souvenir shop in your city

or town where Indigenous-themed art is sold.

Be sure to snap a photo of the storefront.

Go inside and take photos of any

Indigenous-themed art and whether or not

there is a label.

We want to see if an artist or a

company is listed.

Finally, take any art pieces that don't

list an artist to a staff member

and ask them these three questions:

Can they give you more information on

where the art came from?

Then, tell us about your experience.

Write down what they told you and send

your notes, descriptions, and photos

to artsearch@thediscourse.ca
