and some stuff from Wal-Mart.
One of those families...what she needed more than
anything else in the world was reliable transportation.
And it couldn't just be any reliable transportation. It specifically has
to be reliable transportation that can carry 8 people.
Now you may not know this, but finding transportation in 2019
for 8 people...
Not a lot of models that come with the correct seat belts
and seating for 8 people.
Just some high-end minivans and some other things.
You can look this up.
So here at Jupiter Chevrolet in Garland, TX,
we found an 8-passenger Chevrolet Traverse,
and just paid for it. It's done.

Never Get Rust on Your Car Again - Duration: 7:45.
rev up your engines, today I'm gonna show you how you can remove rust and then
protect the area using this german-made Fertan system, now whenever you're
messing with chemicals I always use these gloves, they're great a few little
splatters it won't get on you, makes your job
a lot easier, now this is especially good for rust that's in hard to get to areas,
like the top here, it's got a lot of rust and corrosion let's just say the English
don't chrome plate things as well as they used to, and speaking of chrome
plating, realize that the thickness of the chrome plating isn't much, it's from
point .002 millimeters to .02 millimeters so it's really thin
stuff, and yes when done correctly the chrome plating is usually over nickel
plating, but the nickel plating hey it only has a maximum plating level of 0.1
millimeter, so it's all pretty thin stuff water can often get through little
fissures and cracks and get down to the bare metal and then the metal rusts and you
see rust on your chrome, so it's not the chrome that's rusting even though you
see rust on it, it's the underlayment that's where something like this gel works
really well, now course there's many ways to apply it but I find the best is you
pour a little bit of the gel into a clear glass container and then use a
brush because that way you're only going to contaminate the stuff you have out, if
you put the brush inside the bottle and kept going back and forth, you're going
to contaminate the bottle and ruin it this way the only thing you use up as a
stuff you pour it in the glass then you liberally apply it on a
corroded part, you can easily get in all the nooks and crannies without having to
take everything apart, now once you put it on you wait anywhere from 15
minutes to an hour for the stuff to do its thing, the more corroded it is the
longer it's going to take to get rid of that rust,
now it's especially good on things like rust around spokes on wheels, where it's
hard to get in those little crevices especially these hard to get to spoke
areas, you really don't want have to take all the spokes apart and clean them and
put them back on, you want to do it on the vehicle and as you're gonna see here,
it also works good at taking corrosion off of aluminum, I just put this stuff on
and you can see it's already starting to lift
off a bunch of the corrosion, I'm gonna do some of this transmission case too, now
of course the big advantage of gel is that it's a gel, it's nice and gooey and
it sticks, if you're using a liquid it's gonna drip all over the place, this stuff
stays in place and does its job, you just need to have the patience to wait
for the stuff to work, and like I said you can wait up to a whole hour
which is what I'm gonna do, now while we're waiting for the stuff to do its
job and get rid of the rust, I'm gonna talk about what you do after the rust is
gone, now this is a motorcycle and I'm gonna actually end up polishing the
thing and coating it with the special polish that not only polishes and makes
it shine, but it seals it with a type of wax that can last up to a whole year so
the water doesn't intrude and make it rust again, and for that I'm going to use
this quick glo, it's made in Louisiana it's really cool stuff, it polishes and
it seals and it can last quite some time, but let's say you're dealing with
something that's either bare metal or painted metal, then you use this Fertan
stuff the epoxy primer you paint that on first, you get the primer and you spray
that on first and if you want a gray primer color you
can just leave it at that, and if you want something like an engine part or
something it's gonna get oil and grease on it, this is more oil resistant and if
you're doing a part that hey on the engine or on the brakes that gets heat
or gets oil on it, you can use this multi metal coating, you spray that on and when
it dries, it leaves a really good finish on any kind of bare metal, it really
adheres well to steel, aluminum, it's really good for painting bare metal
parts once you get rid of the rust, once you spray this on you don't have to
worry about corrosion for quite some time, and as you can see it, lets the
color of the metal show through, unlike the primer that's a dark grey, this just
lets the metal show it's natural color a lot of guys use this metal coating on
their rat cars, they got an old car and it has a lot of rust and stuff and they
clean the rust seal it all with something like this, so
that you actually see the real metal underneath, but this keeps it from
rusting anymore, it seals it from corrosion, and of course if you're doing
it on the metal part you don't want it to corrode especially say if you live
near the ocean, this is really good for stopping metal corrosion, heck I know
guys down in Galveston here on the ocean,
they got beachfront property, they spray a lot of the metal part to keep the
saltwater from corroding them, and as long as you keep this stuff up, hey it
works quite well well not it's been about an hour so
we're gonna start wiping all this stuff off, see what it did, and as you can see
hey that rust is starting to come off on the blue paper towel, I've been using
these blue work towel for years because they're tough but they're soft, you can
use microfiber towels too if you want, but this takes up the dirt a lot
faster and you throw it away you don't have to worry about cleaning that when
you're done, just check out how shiny it is now
but as I said, since this is shiny chrome now I'm going to use this quick glo
because this quick glo, not only will it polish it up good, it has a wax built-in
that seals it so the water doesn't get under all the chrome and a nickel
plating and start to rust again, this will prevent it from rusting and this
can work a whole year, I only polish this thing once a year, you just get some on
the towel and start polishing it, see the wax is built in here so the wax is going
to seal it, so now not only is it rust free, but it's polished with a wax
that'll keep the rust from coming through, now let's wipe it off the top of
the casing we did as you can see the top of the casing is all shiny now, look at
the difference between that and the dirty side that we haven't done yet, what
a difference, and that's for the spokes here's the untreated spokes, you can see
the rust on it, here's the ones that we worked on look at how shiny they are, now
the valve stem has a steel nut and you can see it's taken a lot of the rust off but
there's still a little bit left, this one's going to have to be treated even
longer because it's just bare steel this isn't chrome-plated steel here, this is
bare steel and it would require a little bit more work to get it perfectly shiny
but being bare steel here of course the English screwed up, they should have
either chrome-plated it with the rest of the stuff or painted it, in this case if
you want that to be perfect you take that bolt off, sand it down, and either
paint it silver or black, or go out and buy a chrome plated nut to go on there
and since this is mechanic money I'm gonna be giving away some of this rust
remover gel and the metal coating treatment, to have a chance to win just

5 Popular Cars You Should Be Embarrassed To Drive - Duration: 7:28.
So first things first, this video will probably piss off a lot of people.
I thought twice about creating this video because I'm sure it'll receive a lot of backlash
especially those that own the cars that are featured on this list.
Last time I made a video bashing some cars, I ended receiving the most dislikes I've ever
received on any video of mine.
Real quick before the video begins I wanted to update you guys that have been asking about
when I will be modding my BMW 335i.
I'm planning to start modding it this upcoming January.

The first car is the Toyota Prius, I'm almost positive most of you were expecting this car
to be included so I decided not keep you guys waiting and get this car out the way.
This has to be the most hated vehicle among car enthusiasts, with the most obvious reason
being that it's well..
Ugly.
Sure, you can make the argument that there are other uglier cars out there.
But see auto manufactures probably tried to make those other cars look pretty or unique
and ultimately failed.
The Prius on the other hand, it's like Toyota intentionally tried to make it look ugly.
I will say this though, the new ones do look slightly better, keyword slightly.
The Prius also carries an image or stereotype that is considered negative by most people.
People driving them typically have their nose up high and look down at every V8 car and
truck driver as if they are superior because they are saving the planet.
Saving the planet you say?
Hmmmm.
Hybrids such as the Prius have one big issue, and that is their batteries.
Creating a Prius actually creates much more emissions than lets say a traditional gasoline
vehicle, and it'll take the vehicle's lifetime to make up for it.
And then there is the rising question of how we are going to handle battery waste problems
in the future with the amount of of hybrids and electric vehicles increasing.
In short the Toyota Prius is environmentally costly.
A well maintained used car is technically the greenest option, that's if you really
care about the environment.
Idk about you, but I'd be embarrassed to drive a Prius.
It lacks in style, and excitement, it's not the greenest option available, Jeremy
Clarkson bashed it on Top Gear and oh yeah...it's slow.
Next car is the Smart fortwo.
Before anyone decides to question how popular this car is.
It sold nearly 2 million units since they launched!
Which is absolutely mind blowing.
I'm not sure why anyone would want a car of that size.
I can somewhat see it being beneficial in European countries that have congested cities
and super tight roads but owning one in the US seems pointless and straight up embarrassing.
Sure a smart car can be a huge plus in the fuel efficiency departement or when it comes
to maneuverability especially when parallel parking in small spaces.
But it's hard to ignore the negatives of owning one.
Accidents in such a small vehicle can be scary.
Naturally larger vehicles from around the same era are safer and much harder to get
tossed around.
The size of a smart car can easily be overlooked on the road ending up in other driver's
blind spots.
It's small form factor makes it challenging to drive on major freeways as they can easily
be unbalanced at high speeds especially on very windy days.
I remember seeing a smart car nearly getting blown off a bridge when I was heading over
to the beach.
And if I haven't said enough negative things about the smart fortwo, here's more.
It only seats two skinny passengers, has extremely limited cargo room, it handles terribly around
corners, the automatic transmission offered in older gas models can be jerky at times,
it has slow acceleration, lacks durability and versatility and new electric models are
overpriced in my opinion.
But hey if you're looking for small cute vehicle that can perform a u-turn in one lane,
and can squeeze into almost any obstacle then go head and purchase one.
I'll tell you this, you won't catch me dead in one, no pun intended :)
Third car you should be embarrassed to drive is the Nissan cube.
While it wasn't widely popular here in the US, it was a major hit in Japan throughout
the years.
In fact it was top selling car in Japan at one point.
You might get away with driving the Cube outside of the United states since other countries
are typically much more welcoming to different designs.
But if you drive it here in America you're almost subject to getting weird looks from
others.
Not sure what Nissan was thinking when designing the Cube.
It honestly looks like a car that stays as a concept and never makes it to the market,
but this managed to sneak it's way out somehow.
The biggest design feature that probably bugs people the most is the Cube's Asymmetrical
rear glass.
It's almost impossible not to comment on it's rear design when seeing it out on the
road.
That and it's boxy shape.
Sometimes I wonder if aerodynamics was even a consideration when they came up with the
design.
And how can I leave out the terrible transmission it carries, Nissan's famously bad CVT transmission.
All negatives aside I can't knock Nissan so much for trying something different and
unique.
A car like this that offers lots of cabin room, private back seats good for extracurricular
activities and quirky design really shines in a country like Japan.
But in a country like the US where most Americans react negatively when a automaker tries to
design something outside of the box, owning a cube will making you a laughing stock especially
among automotive enthusiast.
4th car is the PT Cruiser.
Or as some people call it, the PT loser.
I've yet to meet anyone that speaks positively about this car.
Crazy because this car was a sensation when it first came out, selling nearly 145K units
back in 2001.
The design was considered unique by many mainly because of it's 1930's inspired retro
looks.
People thought they were cool and and believe it or not were extremely hard to find in dealership
parking lots since they were selling so quickly.
Fast forward to today and they are one of the most hated cars that exist!
It's featured on nearly all top 10 list of worst cars.
There is even a article by the NY times titled From Hero to Zero!
The PT cruiser definitely lost it's lust over the years, mainly because it remained
untouched even 9 years later.
The only major change to it was around 2005 when they added a convertible model which
made the car look worse in my opinion.
As better cars were starting to come out, the outdated look of PT Cruiser was becoming
more obvious.
Even though it looks like quite the practical vehicle, it really isn't especially with
today's standard.
There is not enough room inside, which is no surprise since it uses the same platform
as the Dodge Neon.
I guess you can call it a hatchback Neon.
And I'm sure no one wants to own a hatchback Neon.
Then there is the below average fuel efficiency that quite frankly is unacceptable for car
such as this one.
18mpg city and 24mpg highway it just isn't that good..
And the biggest reason most people tend to avoid purchasing a pt cruiser is because of
all the reports mentioning it's poor reliability.
Some common reported issues are the engine shutting off while driving, countless electrical
issues and the dashboard cracking.
Funny how this car received so much positive attention because of its exterior design and
now it receives negative attention especially when people decide to make them look like
this.
5th and final embarrassing car on the list is the Mitsubishi Mirage.
Technically this isn't a popular car, but hear me out.
It's one of mitsubishi's top selling cars because of it's low new car price point.
It starts at just under 14K for a 2019 model.
For that price you're definitely going to sacrifice some quality and performance.
It carries a 1.2L 3 cylinder engine that produces only 78HP and 74lb-ft. Definitely not numbers
you want to talk about when around other people Unless of course you want to be embarrassed.
Other than maybe good gas mileage driving the Mirage on the road just isn't a good
experience.
The 3 cylinder engine idles hard, making most rides noisy and distracting.
The slow acceleration makes it tough to merge into major freeways, and fun factor in general
doesn't exist.
It's obvious that the Mirage only really has one purpose and that is to get you from
point a to b.
A bare bones commuter car.
Pretty much the perfect car to get all your car enthusiast friends to hate you.
Doug Demuro even made a video on the Mirage explaining why it's one of the worst new
cars you can buy.
I get it though, this car isn't supposed to be sporty, it's not supposed to have
the best luxury features or and it's not supposed be fun to drive.
The Mirage is for those that don't care about a car having a soul, for those on a
tight budget that ultimately want a new car with a good warranty.
That said, you should still be embarrassed to drive one of these :)

1 Dead in Fiery Multi Car Manhattan Wreck Saturday Morning NBC New York
A four car collision in Manhattan early Saturday morning left a woman dead and one car ablaze, police and fire officials said.
The wreck happened in the vicinity of Laight Street and West Street, near the Holland Tunnel, just before 7:45 a.m. Saturday. Video from the scene shows a trail of debris almost a block long and severe damage to multiple vehicles including an SUV and a sedan.
Police say a 37 year old man lost control of his Audi while driving northbound and fast on West Street, a major roadway along the Hudson River.
The Audi hit a Honda, which flipped over and caught fire. Its driver, a woman, was killed.
Witnesses told police the driver was swerving in and out of traffic at a high speed when he hit the victims car.
Police say the Audi then hit two other cars. The driver and two other people were injured and taken to hospitals.
According to police, the Audi driver tried to flee with his dog, a Rottweiler. The man is in custody.
The dog is with animal control authorities.

I got this from Dollar Tree for $1 it really works good on my hair
okay and
then I have been doing this here which is salon selective's
You guys can see that

For damage repair and I'm using that because I did do a black dye on my hair and I'm noticing
the
low porosity hair
is in full effect okay
So let's get started what I'm going to be doing today
Is I'm
going to be applying jail today to my hair I went all weekend with just oils and conditioners and I try to
loc method and everything and what works best for me is
All in the water so the liquid and the oil I haven't found the cream
to put in yet
with my hair and that actually worked so I'm going to be doing too little space puffs at the top and
The rest I'm going to be using my eco style
eco eco styler gel and
it's olive oil shea butter black castor oil and
flaxseed so that's the gel then I'm gonna be using today and then also I found at the Dollar Tree
lusty edge control and I don't know if this is clear for you guys
I guess I don't know how to zoom in its own

Let's get started first thing I'm going to do is go ahead and create my space pops
And my hair is completely no products
Very soft from the
Leave-in conditioner
Not believe in conditioner the deep conditioner so it's very soft from that
And I'm just gonna put too little space puffs up here because this is the style that has been working for me

Instagram I'm gonna walk you through how you can request to be verified I've
applied like 10 times so we'll see what happened in order to get verified on
Instagram you have to follow these four requirements number one you have to be
authentic so your account must represent a real person so you or a registered
business or entities so if you have a shop or whatever else you have to be
unique so it has to be really you you can't have like five different accounts
with you only one account per person or business may be verified like I have an
Instagram account but then I have like a fake side account that's just like funny
stuff I can't have both be verified it has to just be like my main account your
profile has to be complete so it has to have a profile picture and a bio you
have to post it at least one photo and you can't have in your profile anything
that says like add me with links to other social media so if my youtube link
is in my bio does that count as that I don't think it does I think I would have
to be like I'm me on Twitter or with like my handle so I think I'm fine and
then I can't count and then number 4 you have to be notable so your account must
represent a well-known highly searched for person basically that's just saying
like you got to be someone I'm not really someone so in order to request
verification you need to go into your settings you go into your account and
then you click on request verification it's gonna ask you your username your
full-name what you've named you're known as and what type of account you have and
then you're also going to have to attach a photo of your driver's license or your
photo ID and then you send it so why not take a stab at it I mean there's nothing
really to lose so a hack number two is to download all of your photos from
Instagram that you've ever posted like download all of them probably don't have
all of them and with all the new updates and rollouts and all these social media
platforms closing and all this weird stuff happening in digital you just
never really know it's to happen and so if you want to back up
your Instagram photos I'm gonna show you how so you're gonna go to your Instagram
profile first and then click on me like three lines at the very top and click on
settings then you're gonna go down to nope not account you're gonna go down to
privacy and security and then you're gonna click on download data so
basically this is gonna get a copy of what you've shared on Instagram they'll
email you a link with a file to your photos comments profile information and
more in 48 hours so that's awesome I mean why not just do it and see what's
there I guess yeah that's cool the next hack is a program you can use to get a
lot more followers and engagement and likes on Instagram so I'm using this for
my professional Instagram that I just started but I have used this service
before and basically what it does it's called explode social basically what
this service does in order to gain new followers and more engagement is it goes
and target followers of accounts that are either similar to you or certain
accounts that you choose that you customize it goes and it engages with
their photos and with their profiles and it also engages with your own fans
profiles so essentially like I want to engage with everyone but I literally
cannot do that every single day so what I love about this is it will like engage
with people for you it's an automated system so it'll like people's photos and
it's like I'm choosing the accounts that I want it to do it for who I want it to
like the photos of or follow them or whatever and in return you get so much
love back it's just instagrams a community an Instagram wants you to
engage with each other the more you engage with other users and follow them
and like their photos the more they will engage back and therefore you will get
more likes which will get your profile seeing more and more people will be able
to follow you because of course Instagram favors you getting the most
engagement on your post within the first like two to three hours I think so a
service like this just helps you to engage with other users so that they
engage back with you ultimately resulting in a lot more followers so I
love this because I just think it's such a genuine thing like engaging with other
users on Instagram is what I want to do I do support all these users so you guys

would before but now you can actually click on this little music symbol thing

I've wanted to do that forever I didn't even know you could so then as people
answer I think you'll be able to actually play the song back I'll get
back to you on that one I'm editing this and realized I forgot
to stick the music in so here it is look you can do this and it's cool and yeah
so it worked the next hack I've talked about before a
long long time ago but I just want to remind you guys that don't think a lot
of people do it if you want to get custom fonts on your Instagram stories
all you have to do is go to this website called cool symbol comm and if you click
on fancy text you can just choose any sort of text that you want you put in
your text here so let's put cool fun and then you can customize like whether you
want a black bubble you want a little bar code okay
I'm pushing copy gonna go to my Instagram paste yeah how cool is that
man speaking of cool customizable fonts on Instagram stories another half is to
use this app called hype type you can just animate your text more so
unfortunately if you don't pay for the version of the app there is a little
water market it says like made by hype type but I just think it's really cool
that they have different styles of animation and you can kind of like make
them even more your own which is super nice and easy and sweet so why not
customize your IG stories this is so funny I'm
really filming in front of a green screen could you probably knew if you
saw man screams who are you definitely knew all right the next hack okay we all
know that hashtags make posts more discoverable make even stories more
discoverable and people who see your stories will likely follow your profile
if they like them so one really neat hack for how to get hashtags on your
stories that not have anyone see them and not have it be very obvious that
you're using them it's either to type out the hashtags and then make them so
small that you can kind of like push it away off the screen because it'll
actually still be there which is kind of weird and that was a weird way to say
that but it's fine but these seconds that you can do that I never thought of
before is you can just blend in the color of the text with whatever the
surroundings of the photo are so literally just like scrunch it down and
then just make the text the same color as the background and no one will ever
know that they're there which is funny and if someone ever clicks on it and
sees it they'll be like whoa that's crazy

level I didn't really get outside my comfort zone and play with people that
challenged me to the point where I couldn't even hold my own and that
really taught me that to develop an edge to develop a confidence to play against
the best or compete against the best you need to surround yourself with people
that are far better than you that you aspire to be that you can't even imagine
being at that skill level I realized you need to surround yourself with those
people and you're gonna get better by osmosis just by interacting with these

- Diet and exercise are just another tool,
just like the surgery itself, and we really really
try to teach that, that these are just tools
that are gonna create long-lasting lifestyle changes
and you really can't have good long-term success
without one or the other.
They all kind of work in unison and combination.
So I really tell them that we're now looking
and viewing exercise to maintain the weight
that you're gonna be losing through surgery.
It is a very intensive lifestyle modification
program that we're doing, and we kind of make sure
to tell them that this isn't a come once a month
and you get surgery.
There's some patients that are on a long track.
There are some patients that are ready in six months.
So it's a lot of education.
We give you homework.
We give you bariatric surgery homework
that you've got to come back, let us know what you learned,
what you want for success,
because this is a very collaborative program.
I always tell the patients I'm seeing,
I could tell you I want you to do x y and z
for exercise for this long this many times a day.
If it's not something they enjoy doing or want to do,
they're not gonna do it and it's just not gonna be
successful, so that's one of the first things I always ask,
is what do you want to get out of the program and how can we
come up with goals together to make you reach those goals?
